The Bucs are back in the thick of things after the Saints threw them a bone (after nearly knocking them out). Also, it is Mock Draft Monday!
In 2008, the Bucs were 9-3 and primed for a playoff run before the wheels fell off. Eventually, the team had to break down the foundation to build toward success again, and I believe they are facing that sort of decision once again.
The Bucs lost to the Saints in a less-than-ideal weather situation, but the game went beyond that. Thankfully, we find ourselves on a mock draft Monday, which allows for a deeper conversation, as well as some picks to provide some much-needed optimism.
On today's episode of Rigging the Bucs podcast, we discussed the upcoming free agents the Bucs will have and where they rank among others next offseason. We also highlight how free agency may be able to fix some defensive holes for general manager Jason Licht as he rebuilds certain positions.
Mock Draft Monday is here, following a victory for the Bucs in Week 13 against the Arizona Cardinals! We take a different approach in this mock draft to allow for some new results. We also touch on the Bucs' win over the Cardinals, as a win is always nice; they left a lot of meat on the bone.
The Bucs offense has a lot of stability across the board in 2025, but 2026 may be different. The team has some tough decisions ahead, so we preview the state of the offense for the coming months, as well as talk about some players who could be in play to fill holes in the 2026 NFL Draft.
While the Glazer family that owns the Bucs has always remained composed, we don't have to. We discuss the idea that the Bucs could move on from Todd Bowles after the 2025 season, and we run through candidates to replace him!
The Bucs are coming off a major loss on the season to the Rams in Week 12. We discuss that, as well as highlight some players the Bucs could target to fix the team in the 2026 NFL Draft as we celebrate Mock Draft Monday.
