An extended interview with Nate Gamet, North Central Missouri College Athletic Director, focusing on his pursuit of a career in officiating Major College Men's Basketball.  Nate talks about his career path from player to Assistant College Coach to Head Coach of D2 Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma.  After leaving coaching for a return to his home area to run Ketcham Community Center at NCMC, he decided to pursue basketball officiating as a way to maintain his love of and connection to competitive sports.  An inside look at recent rule changes, how officials are evaluated and the rigors of travel involved in his officiating journey.  Also a quick discussion of attending the NWSL Championship at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City with a dad daughter excursion; plus a review of gas station cuisine (yay for roller food!) and hydration/drinks needed for a sports (or family) road trip!
