Today we're joined by a few fiends, Bas and The Hics. They're fresh off the release of their collaborative album 'Melanchronica'. We start with how Sam & Roxanne first met at an arts high school and how Bas (while on acid) connected with them during a J. Cole tour in Europe. They reminisce on recording their early collaborative records and how recording together has evolved over the years. They share what they wants listeners to feel this new album and making music that evolves with their personal growth. Bas shares a story about "Everyday People" and how his brother DJ Moma literally let Nas down. Sam shares how the hook for this song "I just want to f*ck no more fighting" was a tough lyric for his grandmother to hear. They share how family can influence how they express themselves through music. They share what music they listened to growing up and how video games (GTA) was a game where we all learned older music. They share which music genre they'd like to explore next. We get into the division of Bas & Sam's football (soccer) clubs, PSG v.s. Arsenal.
