Speaker 1 (00:05):
Hello, and welcome to this three minute Life Force energy
coaching commentary. Today, I want to discuss the throat chakra
and discernment. Discernment is necessary for great decision making. To
make great decisions, you have to know what the truth
is and that sits directly in the throat chakra. Our

(00:28):
throat chakra is like a funnel. It's sort of a
choke point, if you will, to where the energy comes
in from the crown. It passes through the third eye
and then it comes into the throat chakra and it
does mimic our physical body. The throat is a narrow
area that channels a lot of energy and I believe

(00:49):
this chakra is underrepresented, is not talked about that much.
We need to understand what can go wrong here. The
throat chakra is about communication, and it's very important to
know how to communicate, but also how to listen and
how to discern what someone else is saying. Not just

(01:10):
understanding the words and the concepts, Okay, that's great, but
also where they're coming from. You can learn a lot
about somebody when you hear them speak, and not just
about what they know or their opinions, but how they've
formulated those opinions and whether or not there is truth

(01:31):
in their words. Are they speaking from personal experience or
is this something they've heard. One thing is for sure,
you can't really argue with anyone about what they got
out of their own personal experience. I guess you can,
but it wouldn't be very wise. We're all allowed to

(01:54):
glean what we do from our own life experience, and
so when you're listening to somebody and you're communicating, you
can start to discern if this is something that has
come through their own personal experience or whether they're just
taking on someone else's ideas. It's getting harder and harder

(02:14):
to discern what is truth? Who is telling us the truth?
We think we're thinking independently, It's not necessarily the case.
In fact, I would say very often it's not. Maybe
people who are entrusted to tell us the truth. Maybe
they are telling us what they believe down to their

(02:34):
bones is the truth, but maybe it's not. This is
the reality of where we're at right now, and it's
not just what someone else tells you. But what do
you tell yourself? The throat chakra is part of all
of this. What do you tell yourself when you hear something,

(02:57):
when you say something, when you show up somewhere. There's
a lot of communication that goes on that isn't just verbal.
Thoughts can move at lightning speed, So if you get
an intuitive hit from something, it's important to just sit
with that, even though you may not like it, and
especially if you're not sure what the intuition is telling you.

(03:20):
But what's very important to do is to not immediately
disregard it or change the intuitive hit into an idea
that's more comfortable for you. So witnessing our thoughts, listening
to other people, allowing our intuition to do its work
for us and give us information so that we can

(03:42):
be more effective in this world, make better decisions and
being discerning. I hope that's giving you something to consider.
Thank you very much for listening, and I wish you
were very prosperous day

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
