Happy New Years Eve everyone! On our last episode of 2024, we talk about the radium girls. In the 1920's radium was a new and fascinating element that was used on watch faces and instrument panels. The girls who worked with this element were told by their companies, Radium Dial and U.S. Radium, that it was completely harmless. Soon enough, some of the workers started to experience tooth pain. Shortly after that, many of them experienced way more intense symptoms. Listen to find out more!
