The Pisces New Moon on March 19th invites you into the dreamy, intuitive waters of your deepest knowing—where your imagination isn't escapism, it's a portal.

This moon asks: What are you being called to feel into? What wants to be birthed from the softest, most surrendered part of you?

Pisces energy is about dissolving the boundaries between what you think is possible and what your soul already knows is true. It's grounded delusion at its finest—informed faith that holds both your vision and your reality with tenderness.

This is your permission to dream without needing all the answers. To trust the whispers. To let your nervous system soften enough to receive what's trying to find you.

In this episode, we explore the energy of this Pisces New Moon, what it's here to teach you, and how to work with it in a way that feels embodied, not performative.

Whether you're journaling, manifesting, or simply allowing yourself to feel—this moon is holding space for your becoming.

(00:00):
Hey everyone, and welcome back to another episode of The Path
Less Traveled. I'm Rachel McGowan.
I'm Cara Sage. So last night Kara and I
attended a Cincinnati Beauty Boost events where I tabled my
second time this year at the Girl Talk Social and it was so
much fun. I so appreciate you helping me

(00:22):
with all of the guests that werethere.
It was a really great time. It was I let everyone know that
I was your wing woman and while you are doing your thing, you
really do need somebody to explain what this is, you know,
to kind of navigate that. There's a lot of people who just
don't know enough about numerology, so it's really nice
to bring that to them. Yeah, for anyone that's new
here, my business, the Divine Feminine Collective, I empower

(00:45):
the busy woman who's trying to do it all, whether you're a mom,
a career woman, anyone that's just trying to figure it all out
and juggle everything while balancing life, family, career,
all the things. And as a part of my in person
event, I'm doing these mini numerology readings where I will

(01:08):
tell you your life path number, which is essentially your
purpose in this lifetime. Your destiny number, which is
how you're going to live out your purpose in this lifetime,
and your personal year number, which is sort of what season
you're in this year because we all go through different things
in our lives. And so these three numbers

(01:28):
together are what I to guess when they come to my table to
see me at these events. And I just think they're really
validating. Everybody seem to love them.
And it's a really good snapshot of what numerology is.
And you can always get more intothe weeds and learn more about
it in my Cosmic Blueprint numerology course.

(01:51):
But these are always so fun. I love doing in person events
and dressing up and my table is very mystical, a little witchy,
very on brand with the Divine Feminine Collective.
It is, and I had such a fun timewatching people put the pieces
together. When you show them that, Oh my
gosh, that rings true for me. I can't believe that that's so

(02:13):
on point and it's just one little piece of the puzzle that
they didn't have and now they do.
So it was beautiful to watch youbring that to them.
Yeah, and it's it's nice to knowwho you are.
And there's all these different tools.
Most people know astrology. They know what their Zodiac is.
A lot of people know human design, they do the Enneagram.
There's all these different waysto know who you are.

(02:37):
Numerology is just another tool in the toolkit, but it is a
number which each number has a theme.
So it's just another way of learning yourself.
And I told a lot of people this last night, but what I love
about numerology is knowing whatseason you're in and how to work
with those natural energies because all these other tools

(02:58):
are great to know who you are, but life happens and you're
like, OK, well, this is who I am, but how do I work with
things that I want to accomplishin my life?
You know, being a former practicing attorney, being the
corporate girl, being an entrepreneur now and a mom of
two toddlers, I'm like, hey, I need this information

(03:19):
synthesized to exactly what I should know.
And how do we like maximize whatwe're trying to do in the most
efficient way possible? And that's why I love numerology
because it provides exactly that.
So like I'm in my personal year 9, which is all about
completion, checking the box, getting things done, wrapping

(03:43):
things up, maybe letting go of things that just don't align
anymore. And I really feel like I've been
doing that this year and I've been really sitting in that and
living in that energy. And it's really helped me as
I've gone month to month keepingthat in mind.
And just like I told people lastnight, working with the energies

(04:04):
that are already happening for you, going with the green versus
against. So that's my favorite part of
Numerology and it seemed to really resonate with the women I
was talking to last night who are similarly positioned and
busy and just trying to have thebest life possible.
Yeah. I mean, if you are in a

(04:24):
contemplative phase versus a doing phase that was illuminated
by the numerology and I think that's what people don't
understand. Sometimes you need to go within,
sometimes it it is a time for puples or it's a time for
action. And I think depending on what
those themes are for you, it's really helpful to navigate that,
so. Yeah, and people.

(04:44):
Who don't like math? If you're not a numbers person,
easily get into numerology and see the value in these numbers
for somebody like that. Yeah, yeah.
And what is so interesting is that these energies are
obviously already happening, whether or not you're in tune
with them and working with them. One of my favorite exercises in

(05:06):
my numerology course is to go back 10 years and try and
remember what was the main thing, the big thing that
happened that year for you in each of those last years over
that 10 year span, I did this and it was 100% spot on.

(05:27):
I was like, Oh yeah, of course Ihad my first kid in a six year,
which is all about family and love and you know, of course I
changed jobs in this year, you know, and so I love that
exercise and it's so cool. Regardless of whether, like I
said, you're working with it andyou're aware of what's
happening, it's going to play out the way that it will.

(05:49):
But don't we want to be conscious creators than just,
you know, going through life is sort of some sort of a
bystander? Like I'm all about
intentionality and I want to be very present.
And especially now that I have kids and little kids, I'm even
more aware of being present. And so that's again, why I love

(06:11):
it, because you have the opportunity to know what season
you're in, where you are and howyou can move through it and
accomplish whatever it is that you want to in a way that's much
easier than just getting throughthe whole year.
I mean, like, oh, OK, so that that happened and it fit within

(06:32):
the season I was in. But what did that year look
like? Like, how hard was it to achieve
that if it was especially something you like actually had
to work towards, you know? So it's just, it's so
interesting and I love it. And I think the more people know
and learn about numerology, the more they'll be like, this makes
sense. And I love this.

(06:54):
And it really does help me maximize my life.
Absolutely. And it's all about those little
tweaks that we can make just to understand better and do better.
So is absolutely and I think people are really starting that.
Yeah, so I'm loving the in person events.
I'm definitely going to be doingmore of them.
I have, we have two events coming up that I will share more

(07:16):
about, one in April, one in May and then just trying to plan
some different things for the summer.
So it'll be fun. But my next beauty waste event
isn't until August. So again, more to come.
All the events that are currently planned are on my
website, divinefemininecollective.com.
So if you're curious about what's upcoming, just check that

(07:39):
out. So enough of enough of all of
that we can get in today's episode.
And as always, when Tara is here, we are talking about
astrology because she is our true expert in all things moon,
stars energy. Today we're talking about the

(08:01):
upcoming new moon next week on March 19th, the Pisces New Moon,
which happens to be occurring a day before the spring equinox in
the beginning of the Spring Festival, Astara.
And Kara has her Wheel of the year that she's going to bring
out again after we did in bulk amonth or so ago.

(08:24):
And she's going to talk to us about the energies, what we've
been feeling, what you may be feeling, and what this festival
is all about. OK, well, I'll take it away.
Thank you for that beautiful introduction.
So as she said, we have a new Moon in the sign of Pisces on
March 18th. So this is the first new moon

(08:47):
after that eclipse portal that we just experienced.
First we had the solar eclipse in Aquarius and then we had the
full moon in Virgo. So Aquarius as a recap, is that
kind of collective energy, right?
It's that spirited energy, it's that innovation moving forward.
And then the Virgo is that Earthenergy of OK with this that we

(09:10):
have going on, how can we make it organized, put a little
structure, get a little routine, and what do we need to like let
go in order to do that? So we've kind of had that that
we've moved through and now we're in Pisces, which is the
last sign of the Zodiac. So this is reflective.
It is a water sign. And a lot of people don't know

(09:31):
this, but the story of Pisces, it's 2 fish and it is Aphrodite
and her son Arrows. And they were trying to escape a
monster. They turned themselves into two
fish and kind of tied themselvestogether so that they wouldn't
get lost in the deep, murky waters.
So isn't that cool? So that is really relevant
because it is murky. It's our subconscious.

(09:53):
It's such a 12th house. It's kind of the House of the
subconscious, the House of undoing, the House of OK, where
we at. This is the finality before we
burst into that new Aries beginning.
We're in the waters that is always emotion, even in the
tarot, the cups waters emotion and we are just kind of sitting
with things. So I have been telling people

(10:16):
all this week for me, I feel like I'm at the precipice.
I feel like I'm at a door, right?
And then the next day we have the equinox which we'll get into
and that is really that new beginning burst of spring, the
birth of astrological kind of new year for us.
That's kind of what we've talkedabout that we look at as the new

(10:36):
year as opposed to January 1st, which has its own energetic.
So when it comes to this New Moon in Pisces, we are kind of
finishing out. It can be a quiet, deeper,
reflective time. As we know, Aphrodite went down
into those waters. She didn't know what she was

(10:56):
getting into. She was just trying to escape.
But they had that tie together. So there's always some tie.
There's always some sign, something in us that is letting
us know where we do need to let go and where we do need to
reflect. As we've talked about with
numerology, this feels like a time for almost non action,
pause, being, feeling before we jump into the new year.

(11:19):
So I guess it's a beautiful time.
I have felt like everything thisweek has gotten shuffled around.
Nothing has gone quite to plan. Nothing bad, nothing monumental,
but just step back, hands off the wheel and allow it to
happen. And that's where we're at.
So pay attention to your dreams.Pisces is very much a dream
state. If you've been feeling extra

(11:40):
sleepy, you are just working through some components of where
we're coming out of. Yeah, and Speaking of
numerology, this week with the new moon and the spring equinox,
it is a week 2IN numerology and to your point fits beautifully.
It's all about balance, harmony and creating those things in

(12:03):
your life and what feels good, what what maybe isn't in
alignment. Looking at your partnerships, it
doesn't have to just be romantic, but business
partnerships, any kind of a partnership in your life.
And so it's like you said, it's a little bit of the slow, the
literally planning the seeds because that is what spring is
all about. And really thinking about what

(12:25):
it is from a soul level, from a personal level, from what feels
in an alignment level that you want to plant now that is going
to obviously bloom into what youwant for the rest of the year.
Absolutely. And before we plant, before we
bloom, we have to reflect, we have to figure, you know, what
is working, what isn't working, what needs to be let go of.

(12:48):
And sometimes in Pisces, we're really releasing this through
dreams. We're releasing this through our
subconscious. You might not know everything
that's going on with you, but you can just sit with it and
allow it and see if anything comes up.
It could jog in your memory or it could just happen and release
for you. So there's nothing you really
have to do now. It's just preparing you for what

(13:10):
is coming next. And I love that.
And you did mention the balance, and here is the wheel of the
year again. So we have the equinoxes, which
are the balance points of the year.
So this kind of beginning, we see that horizon line, that
horizon point, and that is the balance of day and night.
It's an equal time. And it is that beginning into

(13:32):
balance, rebirth and growth. So Ostara is what we call it in
the Wheel of the Year. She is a goddess of fertility.
So she is represented often withEaster eggs, Bunny rabbits, Sara
Ostre. Easter is kind of derived at
that time. That's an early Easter.

(13:53):
Usually Easter comes a little after that.
But she is associated with Easter and that fertility.
So the kind of the Pagan form ofEaster, if you will.
But you know, this comes to remind us to plant those seeds.
So in in bulk, we kind of had that stirring under the surface.
And then O star is really where they start to sprout.
It starts to come up and it really is that new beginning.

(14:16):
And then we get into Aries season after that, which is the
start of that fire energy, new beginnings from sign of the
Zodiac. And that is represented up here
in the head because each sign isrepresented.
So Pisces being the ending is the feet 2 feet 2 fish.
Then we have the head being the ram and the start.

(14:36):
So that's cool, too, how all these things fit together.
Yeah. This is just that joyous time
where, you know, everything turns to green.
Everything is blooming, blooming, burping, and so are
we. So we're kind of getting out of
that winter, so to speak, whether that is actually
happening in the weather or within us.

(14:56):
Spring is my favorite season, not just because my day is in in
spring May specifically, but I just.
You know, thankfully in Cincinnati we haven't had a bad
winter, but you've been having this very bipolar weather the
last couple weeks where we had 75° weather like a couple days
ago and it was in the 40s yesterday.

(15:17):
It's like we're all ready for the warmer weather to get
outside, to smell the blooming flowers and for people to start
cutting their grass and to doingall that stuff.
You know, like you said, with Pisces being the last sign and
the Zodiac and Aries being the 1st, it's we really are at that

(15:39):
threshold of endings. Getting to your point, the
energies and zodiacs support this before we move into this
fire energy. And it's a year of the fire
horse, so all these fire signs are like ready to fire.
Yeah, you know, we are. We do need to spend that time
just to slow down because then it's going to ramp up as soon as

(16:03):
the area season comes into play.Absolutely it is, and I have two
theories. So #1 I believe that you love
the season you're born in. People tend to love the season
birthday is in, so I do think that's true about that.
For yourself, if that is true. Even my son who's born in winter
loves winter and just loves and just not every.

(16:23):
That's not everyone's favorite season, but I do think a lot of
people kind of vibe with when they're born at that time.
It's special to them and I thinkthat is really important.
And another thing that I have come to realize is that spring
was always really hard for me. It was always the hardest season
for me. And people don't understand why.

(16:44):
I think it was allergies too, until I found the right natural
medication to take. But I do think it's because
sometimes things are really hardto start.
Sometimes it's it's in the lull and it's hard to gear up again.
And I think that's the case for me.
I think it's really hard for me to gear up once I'm there, good
and I love it and I love summer and all that kind of stuff.

(17:07):
But I don't want to start. There's like a hesitation point
for me. So I've really leaned that and
it's gotten a lot better just the more I've realized that and
just made intentionality with planting those seeds and
deciding what I want to go for. I wonder if that has anything to
do with you being a projector and like, you know, and when

(17:28):
you're interacting with all of these like generators and
manifesting generators, like I'ma manifesting generator and
we're the doers and. But I am not a doer.
And you are, Yeah. So I'm, I'm just, I don't know
if this is accurate, but I'm just thinking like, you know, I
naturally am like ready to rock and like the second I can smell

(17:49):
a cut blade of grass, I am like, let's go spring, you know, a
whole new vibe, a whole new energy and I'm like after it and
projectors. You guys ask for the invitation.
So I'm I'm wondering like all ofus doers are doing and we have
to start it out. And then once we've kind of
gotten in the groove, then we'relike, hey, projectors come along

(18:12):
and maybe you're just like, there's like a lull.
There's a little bit of a, you know, a trail, and then you're
like, oh, hey, all right, come on here.
We. Go.
That is true because projectors are only 20% of the population.
Because in order to make the world go round, we need people
who are doers. We need the generators.
That's about 80%. So yeah, like we're not there to

(18:35):
be necessarily the starters. I have a lot of ideas.
I'm an innovator, but I'm not necessarily like a doer as in
let's go. Even when I go to work, my
schedule at work is I'm going toget here, I'm going to take my
time, I'm going to lean. Don't ask me for too much at the
beginning, but I'm steady. Like I will go say I will stay

(18:56):
late. Like I am a solid worker, but
like just don't ask me for too much at the beginning, OK?
Right, right. Yeah, Yeah.
Well, I know that Spencer had enchanted moments, loves you and
all your ideas, and you know, everybody works differently and
you're a perfect addition to theteam there.
So if anybody needs a tarot reading or ruins, you do that

(19:17):
now too, or a palm reading. They offer all of that enchanted
moments and those are the thingsthat Cara does, as well as
intuitive counseling, another offering that you have.
Yes, I think that one's kind of maybe my favorite that with the
tarot because the tarot is the tool, but the counseling really
helps you move through the energy.
We see the blueprint and then move through it.
So that's been really, really fun for myself.

(19:40):
And my clients, yeah. So if you're wanting something
like that, go see Karen Enchanted Moments.
You're there. What?
What are your work days right now?
Currently I'm there Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays when we are
open. Tuesdays I'm there as well and I
may be picking up some more hours.
We're just kind of adjusting theschedule.
Yeah, so the shop opens at noon every day though, right?

(20:02):
It opens at noon day. We're usually open until 6
unless it's Sunday and then we we do close at 4:00.
OK, cool. So if you know, you know, go
there, check it out. It's such an awesome shop.
So I hope today's information was really helpful as we go into
these new energies. The last of the zodiacs with
this Pisces New Moon and then getting into Aries season and

(20:25):
the Spring equinox and all that is going to be amazing upcoming
this year in a numerology year, one of new beginnings and then
going into the season of truly new beginnings.
So I'm celebrating like we are finally in the new year because
January 1 is never a vibe for meand ready to go.

(20:46):
So I'm here for this finally, spring season.
It's going to be a fun spring too, because we're in a
numerology year. One for new beginnings.
We've got the Fire Horse energy carrying us through.
Now it's Ostara with that beginning going into airy season
of official new beginnings. That's like three hits of let's
go. Yeah, I'm excited.

(21:07):
I can't wait. I'm going to spend some time
journaling and reflecting this next week.
New moons are the perfect time to manifest.
So I would encourage everybody to spend a little time doing
that. And most importantly, a day
before, a day after, or the day of the new moon is the best time

(21:27):
to really sit with that energy. So I wanted to end the episode
today with some questions that maybe you can reflect on to help
you think about this energy and what you can maybe journal about
if you want to in a journal or just even think about in a
meditation. So first question, what chapter

(21:48):
of my life is ready to close? What part of myself is ready to
be reborn? And what seed do I want to plant
this spring that my future self will thank me for which I love.
I all I love reflections that are like, if you've never done

(22:09):
this, I would highly recommend it for everyone listening Cara
reminder to myself writing yourself a letter six months
from now. They did that like last year and
I think I think it was like lastsummer and I read it in January
and I was like, it was was so amazing.
I love that exercise because it is truly just so empowering and

(22:33):
it's you're really telling the universe what you want and are
manifesting and hope that is going to happen for you in the
future. And it's just so cool.
It's kind of like a vision boardthat you create at the beginning
of the year. It's always amazing if you're
intentional and you're a conscious creator in your life
and you'll do the practices thatyou need to do to bring these

(22:53):
things into your life that when you look up at the end of the
year, I love physically, like checking them off, being like,
Oh yeah. And like now my vision board
that was just all these picturesand just has a bunch of like,
Yep, Yep, Yep. Did, did pretty much everything
I wanted to do. Like at least 95% of it is
accomplished. And maybe the other 5% is like

(23:17):
in the works. It's still a thing I want
exhibited a little bit to something even better.
I just love it. Yeah, I even did that when I was
moving here because I haven't been here all that long.
And I said, what do I want my life to be when I move to this
place? And I wrote down everything as
if it were happening. And it did happen.
And almost everything has happened.

(23:39):
There were little tweaks. There were a couple things that
I was like, oh, I don't even want that anymore.
So I'm glad that didn't happen. Yeah.
Then you can watch for that too.And that's great too, because
you can always change your mind.We do have free will here, kind
of changing that, but also seeing at the core what it is
that you wanted to create and watching that.
Yeah, you did. Yeah, yeah.

(24:01):
Now it's it's a beautiful time. I'm so excited for this year.
So I hope those little journal prompts are helpful.
We'll include them again in the show notes in case you need to
hear them again and you didn't get a chance to write them down
when you were listening to this,so it'll be easy for you to get
them there. If this episode resonated with

(24:22):
you, please share it with someone who might need this
message right now. We hope you have a great Pisces
New Moon. Enjoy Astara, the Spring Equinox
and hopefully wherever you are listening to this, the weather
is turning to warmer and prettier.
Returning from this to this, we're right about here, so it's

(24:46):
just about to pop off. Yes, happy astrological New
year. Hey, you can celebrate, do
whatever you want to do, do a little dance outside, get your
feet on the grass grounds, and just thank Mother Nature for her
goodness and for all that she's going to bring us this year.

(25:09):
Yes. And she's going to be
stabilizing the weather very. Soon, yes please girl, we are
sick of this back and forth she's.
Just working on. Well, thanks guys for being here
and we will reconnect soon with the next astrological energies
that are coming up. But until then, enjoy everything

(25:31):
and can't wait to connect again.
