The California Coalition for Youth assists the disconnected youth, runaway and homeless youth in our community, working to improve and empower the lives of California’s youth. CCY advocates for public policies, programs and services that respect, empower and protect the rights of all youth. California Youth Crisis Line Program Director, Logan Shideler and Outreach Coordinator, Megan Beliveau join us in studio to discuss the effect they are having on youth in California. AND The Roseville Police Department, in cooperation with local nonprofit and faith based organizations, is pioneering a new program aimed at addressing homelessness and community issues. The Social Services Unit Program of the Roseville Police Department, administered by Bridgette Dean, is going into its second year with accolades from the community and other agencies taking a closer look at the model.
