Speaker 2 (00:25):
Willie Through You by Choice Hotels, Econo Lodge and Roadway
In Hotels are serving up double points for over qualifying.
Stay book at Choice Hotels dot com. Now here's the
man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of
not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence,

(00:49):
the one and only Bill Cunningham.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Now I'm Philly Cunningham to great America, go to hear
me with me this Sunday night, and a great tragedy occurred,
of course, in central Texas, in the Austin area west
of that San Antonio eighty two or dead news conference
about three hours ago by Governor Abbott. They have confirmed
eighty two deaths which include twenty eight girls, twenty eight children.

(01:12):
Eleven kids are still missing at about seventeen adults are missing.
So the probability of the death toll going past one
hundred is quite good. It's always bad when anyone has
killed or died for any reason, but I have children
died at a Christian evangelical camp named after called the
Camp Mystic. Is particularly sad because innocent children, some of

(01:35):
the stories like to watch some sports on Sunday afternoon,
but I found myself glued to Fox New CNN. Also
every now and then MSNBC had a lucid moment which
is quite rare putting on the actual victims of what
they went through On the fourth of July and the evening,
thirty foot wall of water formed and wiped out everything

(01:55):
in his path, including taking the bark off trees, including
knocking over one hundred year old oak trees. It was
something that was in a sense predicted, not the total
catastrophe by the National Weather Service, but warnings and watches
were issued in fact, because the left again is trying

(02:16):
to politicize this. How do you politicize a thunderstorm? How
do you politicize a flood that used to be the
province of the particularly insane when you think politics should
play a role in snow or rice and storms and
hurricanes and tornadoes, et cetera. But somehow the left wants
to politicize this and blame Donald Trump cutbacks in the

(02:39):
National Weather Service, by the way, which are false. And
also the behavior once again is George Stephanopolis this morning,
he's going to get another lawsuit because he put on
Larry Summers talking about that Donald Trump is going to
kill one hundred thousand Americans. We're going to play it
for you later on. It's absurd that ABC News, the

(03:00):
work of David Brinkley, etc. And so many others of
Nightline did go to work for so long with Ted Copple.
He's lost his way completely too. David Mure right now
is a leftist giving us the news that they're kind
of pinning the tail on Donald Trump to kill one
hundred thousand Americans over the next ten years. And also
George Stephanopolis spent time with an ABC News correspondent today

(03:25):
simply lying about the National Weather Service. So about two
hours ago, I'm sorry, about three hours ago, at seven
to twenty eight pm Eastern Time, Homeland Security put out
a short email that says the following. The mainstream media
is deliberately lying about the events leading up to the
catastrophic flooding in Texas. The National Weather Service executed timely,

(03:47):
precise forecasting and warnings despite unprecedented rainfall overwhelming the region.
Then they go into a lengthy timeline of all the
reports issued by the National Weather Service and it goes
on to say the mainstream media is deliberately lying about
the events leading up to the catastrophic flooding in Texas
and goes on and on, and they actually have the

(04:09):
print out of the number of watches and warnings that
were being issued, which were beginning twelve hours before the event,
and the point was made by those on the ground.
The last time flooding like this took place was about
half a century ago, and at that point the river
banks of the various rivers were not built up as
they were today. There were seven hundred and fifty girls

(04:32):
who were staying at Camp Mystic, and the owner of
Camp Mystic gave his life to save as many as
he could. It happened at nighttime when thunder and lightning
and terrible storms are coming, one tends to honker down,
and they did in their cabins. And the proper warnings
are issued by the National Weather Service, as they always
are now. The flip side of the coin is, it's

(04:54):
like crying wolf. I live in Cincinnati, Ohio, and we
get so many watches and warnings, whether it's hot, cold, rainy, dry, stormy, windy, humid, snowy,
whatever it is. Many times you simply get in the
habit of ignoring what the National Weather Service says. You
get them probably hundreds every year in the Midwest about

(05:17):
tornadoes are coming, it's gonna rain, it's gonna be thunderstorms,
flash flood warnings are in effect. There's said so many times,
as so many people ignore it because they think, here
we go again. But to its credit, the National Weather
Service and also all the local meteorologists in Austin and
Waco and San Antonio all issued numerous watches and warnings.

(05:39):
Whether radio was being used. It wasn't a failure of
the government in a sense. It was Mother Nature dumping
as much as twelve to fourteen inches of rain into
an area that could not handle it. And you've seen
the videos. It is devastating. Fact, it is beyond devastating.
Whenever a child lose this is her life. There's nothing

(06:02):
to say. And when I get to Heaven, is I
pray one day I will with you, Hope you and
I will be standing at the pearly gates at some point.
Hopefully I'll be admitted, may have to spend some time
in purgatory. That's a different issue. I've committed some moral
misdemeanors in my life. No felon needs, to my knowledge,
a lot of moral misdemeanors. But I want to ask,
God Almighty, why do you allow children in this case,

(06:27):
as many as twenty eight little girls to be washed
away and killed in horrible ways. I like to know
why those things transpire, why they happen. And I don't
know what to say, except I said a prayer last night.
I went to Mass today at Saint Gertrude's and I
lit a candle for the girls and for those who

(06:48):
gave their life. Currently, the death tolls eighty two, and
that's very likely to rise, and we hope they're going
to keep looking for more. There's eleven children still missing,
and as many as twelve adults. Of the eighty two
that are dead, eighty two or two, I'm sorry, eighty
two that are dead, twenty eight our children, and it
is time for sadness and reflection on their life, to

(07:09):
build and make your life better, using their innocence as
a boundary and as a sentinel to live your life better.
It's sad, I would point out, as what happens in
today's world. I think America's patriotism has ended. My good
friend and yours Ben Shapiro wrote a column in town

(07:29):
Hall and elsewhere about the end of patriotism, and he
makes the note from the Gallup poll. When I saw
Harry Inton on CNN, He's my only reporter on CNN,
I pay attention to Harry Innton about how America's feels
so differently today. About the flag. July the fourth, I
was in a couple parades, flew the American flag, did

(07:49):
everything I could honor the sacrifice of the founders of
this country beginning in seventeen seventy six, and what they
did for us is truly unbelievable. But the Gallup poll
says that if you identify as a Republican slash conservative,
that ninety two percent of us and I'm a conservative

(08:11):
generally vote Republican, but I'm a conservative, ninety two percent
are extremely or somewhat proud to be an American. You know,
my Moniker is the great American. I'm proud of this country.
It's about all his piples and warts. By far is
the greatest country in the world, by far, the greatest
country and the history of the world. So ninety two
percent of us, courding Gallop, that I identify as conservative

(08:33):
are extremely proud or somewhat proud to be an American.
And that's up. In fact, in twenty twenty two was
eighty four percent of us are proud. Now it's ninety
two percent. Pretty good in your mind. Think about what
Democrats say to the same question, are you proud? Are
you proud to be an American? Well, among Democrats, that number,

(08:58):
coding to George Gallup, is thirty six percent, down from
eighty percent ten years ago. So if you're a self
identifying liberal Democrat, thirty six percent say you're proud to
be an American. And if you're part of of the
younger crowd, if you're under thirty years old, under thirty

(09:20):
years of age, it's twenty two percent. In other words,
about eighty percent of young Americans are not proud to
be an American. It is the death of patriotism, the
end of it as we know it. It's unbelievable, needless
is say. Gallup says, those are the worst numbers that
they've ever experienced in fifty years. That right now here

(09:42):
we sit Sunday evening on July sixth, that a great
bulk of the American people are not proud to be
an American at all overall in the whole country, that
the number is about fifty eight percent overall everyone, independence, Republicans, Democrats, conservatives, liberals,

(10:05):
whatever description you might be. That the numbers is extremely low,
which is fifty eight percent. That means about forty two
percent of us aren't proud to be an American. The
American flag has not flown in many of our communities.
I wonder in Los Angeles or the city of Chicago,
did you see any American flags? How about New York City, Cincinnati?

(10:25):
In certain areas yes, and other areas absolutely not. These
numbers are startling. Every occasion is used by some on
the left as a reason to riot, protest, or boycott.
Portland's going through a living hell right now. On the
fourth of July, there were dozens of riots and demonstrations
all over the country, not well covered by the mainstream media,

(10:48):
in which liberals are marching protests and complaining constantly about
this great country of ours. It's truly an incredible thing
to watch. It's not well covered, but one of the
sad things. And we're going to play the bit with
short stuffanopolis later on Larry Summers, in which she accuses
Donald Trump of killing one hundred thousand Americans. But this

(11:09):
story I thought needed some mention that there's a city
of Houston. You can imagine tonight how there should be
in the city of Houston, Texas. Real empathy for the parents,
for the brothers and sisters, for the husbands, the wives,
the grandparents, for everyone that's been lost. The number clearly

(11:30):
is going to go above one hundred, extremely said in
an event that is one of those weather events, it's
just incredibly unpredictable. Well, there's a woman in Houston as
part of the city government in Houston, and her name
is Sadie Sa d em I, saying that correctly, Sauda

(11:52):
sa d E Perkins, she's a member of the Houston
Food Insecurity Board, made the claim that Camp missed it
in Hunt, Texas. She said in her video, this is
a white only conservative and Christian group. White only conservative,
she went on, are probably going to be canceled for
saying this, But she said, quote Camp Mystic is a

(12:14):
white's only girls Christian camp. They don't even have a
token Asian, they don't have a token black. It's all white,
white only conservative Christian camp. She went on to say
that if this was a Hispanic camp or a black campout?
How about me using the term an American camp? But
she went on to say nobody would give and she

(12:35):
dropped the F bomb. What So there's that sickness loose
in America that somehow our country only cares about white
evangelical girls and no one else. I would care just
as deeply about black little girls that are being killed
for horrible purposes in major American cities and those who

(12:57):
may be victimized by floods that I I don't see color,
I see an American child. But if you're a left
doing extreme liberal like this saud a woman, saud A
Perkins in Houston, Texas, all you see is color and
the Christian flag is not something she's too happy with either,
And she dropped the F bomb in reference to this event. Sick, sad,

(13:21):
and demented. It's the end, the death of patriotism as
we know it.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
Not.

Speaker 1 (13:25):
About forty percent of us overall aren't proud to be Americans.
Democrats thirty six percent are proud, Republicans ninety two percent
are proud, and independence have fallen. Also, they dropped from
seventy six percent and ten years ago to now fifty
three percent, overall fifty eight percent, and it's not getting better.

(13:46):
I'll just take a short break. When we come back.
I want to play the words of George Stefanopolis, who
was successfully sued by Donald Trump before. He's putting up
the idea now through the mouth of Larry Summers at Clintonista,
that somehow Donald Trump himself is going to be responsible
for killing one hundred thousand Americans. What Donald Trump is

(14:10):
a murderer?

Speaker 4 (14:12):
What?

Speaker 1 (14:13):
And George Stephanoppolis served it up. He also served up
the idea that the National Weather Service was cut by
Donald Trump that indirectly caused the tragedy in Texas. That
is George Stephanopolis really the face of ABC News this
side of David Muir. Also, I would point out that
ABC News produces the view enough said, let's continue. We'll

(14:37):
take some calls, of course eight sixty six six four
seven seven three three seven eight six six six four
seven seven three three seven. Of course, we have tonight
dozens of stations in Texas. And if you have particularized
knowledge about what's happening tonight, I've watched all the news conferences,
I've seen the video and it's a time for sad

(14:57):
reflection upon the lives of these innocent men, women and
children that were killed because of a weather event, not
because of Donald Trump. Eight sixty six six four seven
seven three three seven. Bill Cunning in the Great American
with you every Sunday night, my Billy hunting in the

(15:22):
Great American. We're gonna play for this segue with George
Stephanopolis and Larry Summers in about seven or eight minutes
to tell you where the Left is going in this
country and how ridiculous it is.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
You know.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
I have print out almost all nine hundred pages of
the bill, which is called the Big Beautiful Bill, just
on the issue of Medicaid. To prepare yourself for what
you're about to hear. There are no cuts to Medicaid.
Can I say that several times. If you're a citizen,
you're in great shape. If you're a criminal, illegal alien,
or if you're a freeloader, you might be in bad shape.

(15:59):
Because it is not the intent of Medicaid to pay
the medical bills of those from Lithuania or Bolivia. It's
not our intent to pay bills of those from Mexico
or Venezuela that are here illegally. In fact, is illegal
for Medicaid to be used for such purposes, but the
States do it all the time because of reimbursement. They're
not supposed to do it. So if you are an

(16:21):
American that receives Medicaid, your benefits will be there for you. However,
if you're a freeloader on your mother's couch in the
basement and refuse to work. There's about seven million American
males between the ages of eighteen and fifty nine that
get Medicaid that are capable of working, going to school,

(16:42):
or donating their time, that refuse to do so. That,
by the way, that's a Bill Clinton idea for the
nineteen nineties. So if you're one of those seven million
men that refuse to work, or if you're here illegally,
what part of illegal don't you understand, then you're not
going to get Medicaid benefits we hope administered by the states.

(17:03):
You know, many times in life there's a budget, but
in medicaid, you put out a goal and what should
be spent. Then the states determine who to give Medicaid
benefits to, and they seek reimburst them from the Feds
anywhere between fifty and seventy one percent. So each state
now is going to be under a mandate not to
give medicaid to anyone who's here illegally. How about that

(17:24):
novel suggestion. So the liberals are going nuts. There is
no cut in medicaid for Americans. There is hopefully cuts
in medicaid for those here illegally or the freeloaders who
refuse to work. In addition to that, because of Josh Holly,
there was an additional fifty billion dollars put in the budget,

(17:45):
the Big Beautiful Bill passed by the House on July third,
what was that on Friday Thursday for rural hospitals to
get fifty billion dollars extra money. So if you're in
a rural area, that money will be there for you.
That bill allocates fifty billion dollars to support facilities in
so called rural areas of this country. So that's been

(18:06):
taken care of. Also, did you know that, of course
not also SNAP or food stamps. The amount would very
based on the state's payment error rate. But if you're
getting SNAP benefits and you are an American, there are
no cuts. However, if you hear illegally, there is a cut,
and if you refuse to work when you can in

(18:28):
your able body, you shouldn't get a nickel of snap
and or food stamps. Correct you agree with me? On
raise your hand if you agree with me, I agree.
So the media is lying to you about cuts and
medicaid because it fits their purpose. If the facts don't matter,
and the facts don't equip itself with your opinion, simply
is you an opinion untethered by facts, which is what

(18:49):
Larry Summers did this morning with ABC News George Stephanopolis,
And after the break, we're going to play those about
two or three minutes of comments which accuses Donald Trump
of killing one hundred thousand Americans. This is George Stephanopolis,
who was sued successfully by Donald Trump before and Larry Summers.
They both maybe suit again for line. Then we'll go

(19:10):
to the calls eight sixty six six four seven seven
three three seven Bill cunning into Great American with you
and all great Americans of course every Sunday night, now,

(19:31):
Billy cunning into Great American. I fully understand a liberals,
left wing extremists bounced from democratic politics in the mainstream media.
It happens all the time. George Stefanopolis is the obvious example,
who spent years as a Clinton easterntor operator who got
the main job on Good Morning America also on Sunday

(19:52):
Morning because he's a liberal Democrat that represents the viewpoint
of ABC News. That's fine, we understand that, but don't
picture yours is something different than you. Truly are a
democratic left wing operative. That's what he is, and that's
what the view is. That is they represent the viewpoints
of the editorial directors of ABC News. That's what they do.

(20:14):
And ABC News on the left is not much different
than NBC, god forbid, or CBS or the Washington Time
or Washington Post of the New York Times. It's all
the same thing. The opposite doesn't happen. I couldn't imagine
Steve Bannon, who worked for Trump as senior advisor, Steve
Bannon leaving the White House and getting the main repertorial

(20:36):
job at CBS News or ABC. You're in NBC. Could
you imagine Steve Bannon being offered ten million dollars a
year to do this week with Steve Bannon on ABC
News on Sunday Morning. Is that possible? No, It's impossible.
My concern is not the expression of different viewpoints. I

(20:57):
have a viewpoint, you have a viewpoint. Monopolis has one,
Steve Bannon has one. The lie is the mainstream media
of picturing itself as journalists when they're not journalists. They're
left doing idea logs pretending to be journalists. And you
figured it out because the trust of the mainstream media
is now below used car dealers and god forbid attorneys,

(21:19):
so we don't trust it. But they picture themselves as
somehow independent arbitrators. That is simply not the case. Just
two days after the flooding in central parts of Texas,
the left is out right now in full force to
blame the tragedy on Donald Trump. He did it. They
want to pin every scandal on Donald Trump since he

(21:40):
returned to the White House, whether true or not. The
National Weather Service issued repeated warnings about what to do
in central Texas. One can argue about crying wolf constantly
with all the watches and warnings, but according to National
Weather Service, I'm looking at the log they gave repeated warnings,
as did local TV and radio stations all over central Texas.

(22:03):
Donald Trump is not responsible for this, but then he
puts on the course one of his fellow left wingers
to discuss whether or not the Big Beautiful Bill is
somehow going to kill a whole bunch of people, which
is now what the left is doing. And so George Stephanopolis,

(22:23):
doing what George Stephanopolis always does, puts on a left
wing audiologue Larry Summers, who works with the White House
for a long time, and here's a few of the words.
This is allegedly objective, fair, independent journalism. On Sunday Mornings
with George Stephanopolis, Danny Gleason hit.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
It, George, just to start with what your people have
been describing is the biggest cut in the American safety
net in history. The Ial Budget Lab estimates that it
will kill over ten years, one hundred thousand people.

Speaker 7 (23:00):
That is two thousand days of death.

Speaker 6 (23:04):
Like we've seen in Texas this weekend. In my seventy years,
I've never been as embarrassed for my country on July fourth.
These higher interest rates, these cutbacks in subsidies to electricity,
these reductions in the availability of housing, the fact that

(23:29):
hospitals are going to.

Speaker 7 (23:30):
Have to take care of these people and pass on
the costs to everybody else.

Speaker 6 (23:35):
And that's going to mean more inflation, more risk that
the Fed has to raise interest rates and run the
risk of recession, more stagflation. That's the risk facing every
middle class family in our country because of this bill.
And for what a million dollars over ten years to

(23:55):
the top tenth of a percent of our population. Is
that the highest priority use of federal money right now?
I don't think so. This is a shameful act by
our Congress and by our president that is going to
set our country back.

Speaker 8 (24:13):
Part of the President's argument is that economic growth sparked
by the bill will alleviate the dangers that you talk
about here. The chair of the Council of Economic Advisors
is up next and his councilor should report this week
projecting eleven trillion dollars in deficit reduction from growth, higher
tax revenue, and savings on debt payments.

Speaker 6 (24:30):
How do you respond to that, It is, respectfully nonsense.
None of us can forecast what's going to happen to
economic growth. What we can forecast is that when people
have to hold government debt instead of being able to
invest it in new capital goods, new machinery, new buildings,

(24:52):
that makes the economy less productive.

Speaker 7 (24:55):
What we can forecast is.

Speaker 6 (24:58):
That when we're investing less in research and developments, investing
less in our schools, that there is a negative impact
on economic growth.

Speaker 1 (25:11):
All right, let me tear that apart. He just said
nobody can predict the future. Well, he predicts the future
using as his guidepost a study from Yale, not exactly
some independent arbitrator of the truth. In fact, just the opposite.
May I say again, Can I put a ten inch
high italicized letters make a neon? There are no cuts

(25:32):
to medicaid if you are an American citizen here legally,
which of course you are. And secondly, you're not a freeloader.
In fact, they have budgeted about a six percent increase
to medicaid over each year for the next ten years,
as opposed to the regular ten to twelve percent increase.

(25:52):
And so facts don't matter in the mind of a
left wing itelogue. In fact, just the opposite. Does anyone
trust the Yale Budget Lab that he.

Speaker 6 (26:02):
Yale Budget Lab estimates that will kill over ten years
one hundred thousand people, That is two thousand days of death.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
The Yale Budget Lab forecast one hundred thousand Americans will
die because of Donald Trump. Why does ABZ News put
that kind of crap on unless they want to undermine
the authority of the President to tell lies to their
viewership and to bring about something they seek to avoid,
which is a fruitful, happy harvest of the American people.

(26:34):
Let's face it, if you are an American citizen and
you're not a freeloader, there's about a six percent on
average increase of Medicaid. Did you know that from the
mainstream media coverage? I don't think so. He also talked
about tax cuts, et cetera. There's no tax cuts. What
it is the continuation of the twenty seventeen budget resolution.

(26:56):
The evil one percent pay forty percent? Can I say
that again? One percent of way journers pay forty percent
of the bills tax bills. The top five percent, those
who make above one hundred and ninety five thousand dollars
a year, pay about seventy percent. The bottom fifty percent

(27:17):
of way journers pay no federal income tax. It's hard
to give a tax cut to someone who doesn't pay taxes.
So when this is across the board cut in taxes,
those who pay the most taxes will get the most
minuscule relief and that's simply the facts. The tax rates

(27:39):
are going to return to their twenty seventeen levels beginning
in September thirtieth to twenty twenty five, and so it
continues the way it is. So if the truth doesn't work,
make up lies. Have people like George Stephanopolis and David
Muir and others, Tom Lonis, Lester Hoole, perhaps and the

(28:01):
Sunday Morning shows lie about the fact that one hundred
thousand Americans are going to be killed by Donald Trump.
There's the headline. Is that true? Hell no, it's not true.
But the truth doesn't matter if you want someone out
of power, and believe me, the mainstream media wants Donald
Trump out of power. Also, there's a tax cut on

(28:23):
overtime pay, car loans and tip income up to twenty
five thousand dollars a year. I don't think a millionaire
or a billionaire is getting overtime. I don't think anyone
who makes five million dollars a year or I have
to worry about interest on American car loans, or about

(28:43):
number of tips or Social Security. How about this? The
bill would allow seniors to deduct up to six thousand
dollars off their social Security income. If you have an
income of over seventy five thousand dollars a year as
a person, or one fifty one hundred and fifty thousand
dollars a year, you do not get any benefit at all.

(29:05):
It is intended for the ninety percent of Social Security
recipients who rely upon their check every month. So Donald
Trump is fixing that so that if you have a
high income and you're seventy five years old, you don't
get a cut at all. If you have an income
of less than one hundred and fifty thousand bucks a year,
you get a cut. You get a benefit by taking

(29:27):
Social Security? Is that fair? Is that about the little guy?
The big guy? Not too many millionaires I know or
actually worried about overtime or income tax on tips. You
know what I'm saying, And may I say one other thing?
Then I'm gonna go to the telephone calls. A lot's
been made and made of the Jeff Bezos wedding last
week in Venice, Italy, and from that the left going

(29:50):
crazy on Jeff Bezos, who contributed it mainly to the
Democratic Party. I might add that he spent about sixty
to seventy million dollars on his marriage with that woman
names and chess. Now where did that sixty million dollars go?
Did he put it in a large suitcase and drop
it into the ocean. No, the sixty million dollars he

(30:11):
spent went to wedding planners and went to dressmakers, It
went to restaurant owners, It went to those who run hotels,
all the tips that were given. Much like when you
build a five million dollar mansion somewhere south of Chicago,
where does the five million dollars go? It goes in
the pockets of butchers, bakers, candlestick makers. How about plumbers, electricians,

(30:35):
dry walls and roofers, appliance manufacturers, blacktoppers, carpenters, and more So,
when the so called evil rich spend five million dollars
on a house, the moneys go one hundred percent in
the pockets of middle class Americans, and that dollar then
reverberates seven times in the economy. So when the carpenter

(30:55):
or the plumber, or the electrician or the drywall has
a big time job and makes fifty thousand dollars over
the course of six months, he takes that money and
spends it in other parts of the economy. It is
not an evil thing for a rich man or rich
woman to build an expensive home. In fact, for the economy,
it's a great thing. It's a good thing to spend

(31:16):
one hundred thousand dollars on a wedding. The money isn't
burned in a bonfire. The money goes in the pockets
of middle class Americans who put the wedding on. And
so the Trumpster said, if you have an American made
on amobile, you can induct the interest on the car loan.
Who except the middle class would do that. Not too
many rich people I know take out a car loan.

(31:37):
They write a check. So that Donald is trying to
give as much tax benefits as possible to middle class Americans.
I'll just take a short break, and when I continue,
I'll take some calls. We have call some Florida, Michigan, Idaho,
and Cincinnati. Three lines are open. Your calls are next

(31:57):
eight six six six four seven seven three three seven.
What part of the Big Beautiful Bill do you like?
What part don't you like? And do you believe? According
to ABC newses George Stephanopolis and his guests Larry say Iale,
budget lab.

Speaker 6 (32:14):
Estimates that it will kill over ten years one hundred
thousand people.

Speaker 7 (32:20):
That is two thousand days of death.

Speaker 1 (32:24):
George Stephanopolis is going to get sued again because you
just accused the president of killing one hundred thousand Americans,
which is a damnable lie. Do you buy it? Bill
cunning and the Great American with you every Sunday night.

Speaker 6 (32:45):
The Ille budget Lab estimates that it will kill over
ten years one hundred thousand people.

Speaker 7 (32:52):
That is two thousand days of death.

Speaker 1 (32:57):
It's a I'm flambering, asked that that the ABC News
would use its public trust and its public airwaves to
accuse the President Donald Trump purposely killing one hundred thousand
Americans over the next ten years when it's a lie.
It's completely false. Only in Washington is an increase in

(33:19):
spending a cut only in Washington? You say, well, now,
Medicaid's gone up fifty percent in the past four years,
that's ten to twelve percent a year. Need to rein
that into about four to six percent a year increase,
Get illegals off, which they shouldn't be there in the
first place. And if you're a freeloader in your mom's

(33:40):
basement and you're healthy and your seven million males are
in this category. You refuse to work, why should the
government support you? But there's Larry Summers and George Stephanoppolos
saying that Donald Trump's going to kill one hundred thousand Americans.
How does that work? It can't. That's why you got

(34:03):
a dump button. That's why you might record something ahead
of time to make sure you have a guest that
doesn't accuse the president of killing Americans. Are you kidding me? No,
that's where That's where the left is in this country.
Much like the City of Houston official who is not
concerned about the white Christian girls being killed in those

(34:24):
terrible floods because they're white Christian girls. And she said,
I know I'm gonna get in trouble for saying this.
Both they were Hispanic girls or black girls, nobody would
given she dropped the F bomb. What That's where the
left is. So when others have written, including George Gallup,
the Gallup pool says that we've lost her patriotism. We're

(34:46):
not in very good shape. On about twenty two percent
of Democratic millennials think America is a great country, and
overall the Democratic Party the number is thirty six percent.
About two thirds of Democrats do not think America they're
proud to be an American. That's two thirds of the party.

(35:08):
What are you doing? You're reading the New York Times,
in the Washington Post and watching CNN. Well, if you
watch that and you read that, and you watch things
like democratic officials. By the way, Larry Summers used to
be the president of Harvard, including being Clinton's secretary of Treasury, that.

Speaker 7 (35:27):
Is two thousand days of death.

Speaker 1 (35:32):
What when you're increasing medicaid funding and you're providing fifty
billion dollars for rural hospitals? Now, Donald Trump is a killer?

Speaker 9 (35:43):
Right?

Speaker 1 (35:44):
How does that work? Wow? Let's continue. So before I
will take some calls. I got to get to the lines.
I got calls all over. I got to get to
the lines. Some of the great stuff is on defense
spending and on funding immigrants and border security. The legislation
would dedicated about one hundred and fifty billion dollars over

(36:06):
ten years in order to deliver on core promises. That
includes immigration officials, building the wall, et cetera. And by
the way, House Trump done already with Biden type money
and keeping illegals out. Can can someone give me a gift?
Donald Trump a standing ovation for that one. Really, we

(36:26):
were told for years Joe Biden needs more power and
more money to keep the illegals out. Donald Trump did
it within the first ninety days. Back in the month
of May, there were zero intrusions on the southern border.
On a year earlier, there were twenty six thousand a day,
and this down to zero. Did the media cover that,

(36:46):
of course not. They never do their ideologues masquarining as
independent journalists. And one thing I don't like is the
five trillion dollar debt sealing increase. I don't like it.
I guess has passed the Trump term. I don't I
get at all. I pull out the twenty twenty one budget,
which is what four years ago, and whatever was spent

(37:06):
in twenty twenty one, we're gonna spend out in twenty
twenty five. If we did that, we'd have a three
hundred billion dollar surplus and not a two trillion dollar deficit.
It's unbelievable. We owe thirty seven trillion. The Republicans say,
over the next ten years, we're gonna put at least
twenty trillion more on top of the thirty seven will

(37:27):
be closed to sixty trillion dollars right now, one trillion
dollars in interest on the national debt, which is twenty
two percent of O income tax collections go to pay
interest in the interest alone. But on the other side,
I'm gonna quit babbling. I've had enough. I'm gonna take
your calls at least for the next hour. Eight sixty
six six four seven, seven three three seven. Bill Cunningham

(37:48):
with you. Every seven.

Speaker 2 (38:17):
Willie through you by Choice Hotels, Econo Lodge and Roadway
In Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying
stay book at Choice hotels dot com. Now here's the
man who's been recognized gives radio's best, the recipient of
not won but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast exodence,

(38:41):
the one and only Bill cunninghad.

Speaker 1 (38:44):
Let's continue on this fourth of July, a great celebration.
We more in the dead, especially the children in Central Texas.
And I'm certain that God Almighty's welcome them into the
pearly gates and they'll spend eternity in heaven waiting for
their parents. And which is pray to God that the
damages can be kept to a minimum, that somehow more

(39:04):
lives can be saved, possibly down the road, possibly to
see what occurs. Let's get your calls, and I'm proud
to be an American. I'm known as the Great American,
and Cincinnati they called the ballpark after me, the Great American.
I feel proud about that. And as an American, I'm
part of the ninety three percent of Conservatives who say
they're proud to be an American, which is a large

(39:25):
number compared to only about thirty six percent of Democrats
who say they're proud to be Americans. Let's go to
Jim and Jacksonville, Florida. Then calls from all over the
nation and including Mark and Monroe and Jim and Jacksonville.
Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Jim, how are you.

Speaker 9 (39:41):
I'm doing real, mister Cunningham, thank you for taking my call. Yes,
sir man, it's an honor to speak with you.

Speaker 1 (39:47):
Thank you.

Speaker 9 (39:50):
I just wanted to speak about being proud to be
an American.

Speaker 1 (39:54):
Why, well, what happens in this country, Jim? That gives
you a sense of pride in this country that liberals
and Democrats don't understand.

Speaker 9 (40:04):
I could not explain that. I remember as a kid,
although I myself did not serve.

Speaker 10 (40:10):
I grew up on.

Speaker 9 (40:11):
An air force base and when I was really young,
I remember at the end of the day, me and
my friends.

Speaker 11 (40:17):
Would do all we could to ride our bus.

Speaker 9 (40:19):
It goes to the main gate at Barksdale Air Force Base,
because at five o'clock they would broadcast the national anthem basewide,
all traffic would stop. Everybody got out and either put
their hand or their hat over their heart, and we
would always try to get as close as we could

(40:41):
to watch the detail fold the flag further before it
was raised next morning.

Speaker 12 (40:47):
And I'll never forget that.

Speaker 1 (40:49):
Things are a bit different now, and.

Speaker 9 (40:53):
I absolutely do not understand what's wrong with these people.
But the main point was I have not ever heard
any guys mentioned that if they hate America so bad
and they think it's so horrible, there's one wonderful thing
about a free country. You are free to.

Speaker 1 (41:16):
Leave doors, swings both ways. One of the worst images
of the Los Angeles riots are seemingly illegual aliens Mexicans
waving the Mexican flag on top of burned out LAPD
police cars, and to have Democrat after Democrat, including Karen Bass.
The mayor not find that to be one of the

(41:37):
worst symbols possible for her city. I'll ask you this question, Jim.
We have terrible US cities in decline. Whether it's Chicago,
New York, if New York goes the Communist or Marxists
were in more trouble, and La San Francisco just picked
the American city. All of them are a complete decline
by any objective measurement. Can America be a great nation

(42:00):
if it's ten largest cities are in moral, cultural, financial,
educational collapse? How does America succeed when our major cities
are in complete denial, in complete collapse? How does that happen?

Speaker 9 (42:14):
I cannot understand it myself, Sir. I have no explanation.
I don't I can't comprehend what's wrong with these people
or what they're thinking. But again, like I said, if
these people hate America so bad, why don't.

Speaker 5 (42:29):
They just leave?

Speaker 1 (42:30):
The door swings both ways. Let's go to Ray and
Cincinnati and then Mark and Monroe, Wisconsin. And he just
hung up, So let's go to Mark and Monroe, Wisconsin. Mark,
give me a full report.

Speaker 12 (42:41):
Okay, Hey Bill, That ABC News team is really pathetic,
as we all know. Starting with George Stephanapolis, in my
opinion is he has a Napoleon complict, John Carling more
than a total weasel, and Terry Moranne he's gone, well, yeah,

(43:07):
I know, he must have crossed the line, which to
me is actually flabbergas because I didn't think they get
rid of any of those clowns. But yeah, like I said,
he must have crossed the line. So compared to CBS
what I call sixty spinets, maybe they're not as bad

(43:28):
as as all the spins that CBS puts out so.

Speaker 1 (43:34):
Well, to me, we figured, you know, the thing is
the differential between what they promote themselves as being, which
is the mainstream media, which is liberal journalist, as to
what on one hand, as to what they truly are
in the other. And that is the reason we hold
the media in such low contempt, as we figured out,
because the talk radio and podcast that we're not getting

(43:56):
the truth. But have ABC News and George Defanopoulos allow
and broadcast across the world the fact that they have
a guest that says Donald Trump is going to kill
one hundred thousand Americans. I mean I watched that, I
played it for you earlier. It is stunning that on
the public airwaves can be used for such purposes and

(44:20):
Stuffanopolis is setting up BABYC News for another Trump lawsuit,
and one of the worst things you can do is
threatening you're going to kill Americans. And they're threatening Donald Trump.
They just said that Trump's gonna kill one hundred thousand Americans.
It's like what the.

Speaker 6 (44:37):
Ill Budget Lab estimates that it will kill over ten years,
one hundred thousand people.

Speaker 7 (44:44):
That is two thousand days of death.

Speaker 1 (44:50):
Mark, I mean, that's the public airwaves being used to
remote lies and homicidal defamation against our president. Unbelievable.

Speaker 12 (45:00):
Let me ask you this bill, do you think the
American public, after you know, all the experience, you know,
all the way back to the twenty twenty what I
call the Joseph Stolen Election J six and all the
media propagianda, and like you said, the first lawsuit with Stephanopolis,

(45:26):
do you think I mean, they assume or they don't care.
I guess it's a better way of putting it. They're
playing in the America public. We the people being its
stupid that we can't figure anything out. Apparently, I don't
know how else you can explain it.

Speaker 1 (45:43):
Well, Mark, you know, all of us have a dump button.
If someone comes on here and says that Donald Trump
is going to kill one hundred thousand Americans, I dump
it because that is a terrible defamation. I mean, it
was that what we but this was done like okay,
that's fine, let's keep it going a little bit longer.
And this was just any guests. This was the former
president of Harvard, Larry Summers and former Secretary of Treasury

(46:07):
under Obama, interviewed by an Obama and Neista at Clinton
Easta George Stephanopolis, having just successfully paid Donald Trump I
think it was ten or fifteen million now sixty minutes
in CBS is going to pay him sixteen to twenty
five million now here online tonight. Another lawsuits coming against
ABC News because of broadcasting this lie.

Speaker 12 (46:28):
It's like what Bill, I think he kind of answered
my question. Anyhow. Obama was so pro Harvard. The minute
they were going to get cut off funding, he went
immediate to the podium and you know, cried Wolfe about
it that the universities, you know, especially the poison ivy

(46:51):
I are so you know, used to become an anti
American movement. It's not even funny, you know that. I
know that I hope the American public knows that. So
you you send your kid to a major university like that,
a boukoo dollars and he's going to be an un

(47:12):
American and try to tear this company, I mean, this nation.

Speaker 1 (47:18):
Apart. You know, well, Mark at Mark look at it
this way. You pay what two hundred thousand dollars to
go send your kid to some elite college. They come
out marching Marxist. They come out owing a lot of money.
May have you paid it? And you come out with
viewpoints about this country which are at odds to reality.
They do not teach reality. They teach left wing ideologues

(47:41):
to become marching Marxist. And how somebody can claim differently
is beyond me. Whether it's Yale or Harvard or Columbia.
Why send your kid there to come out as a
marching Marxist. I don't get it, don't understand it. Hopefully
I never will. Let's go to Gregan Michigan and then
calls from Utah and Maryland and Greg and Michigan. Welcome

(48:03):
to the Bill Cunningham Show.

Speaker 5 (48:05):
Greg, how are you American patriot? Billy Cunningham, mister positive,
I got to tell you you. Jeez, I can't even speak.
You've done your homework, mister positive loves you. But I
got to ask you two things real quick. Elon Musk
wants to start a third party? What does he know

(48:27):
about politics? Number one? And what philosophical platforms would he have?
And number two? The view? I watch it watched, yeah, yeah,
But here's the thing, it's I hope they're listening. You know,

(48:49):
they're so divisive, they're always one sided. You and I know,
Billy and my buddy Chris Cuomo. If you want to
get to the truth, you've got to hear both sides.
You've got to hear both sides, America. If you only
listen to one side, it's gonna be biased. It's going
to be a narrative that fits your thing, fits your

(49:13):
philosophical stance, but that might not be the truth. But
this is what I like about Billy c. I mean,
I love bad to the bone that you play. You
are a spot on, You are bad to the bone,
and you make a lot of sense. But I want
the view, and I want Musk, but more so the
view to be more level, to be more measured, to

(49:35):
make sure that you say both sides. I mean here.
It is real quick. Whoopy will not mention Donald's name,
whether you like Trump or not, She's one of the
reasons that there's division. It's all right, Whoopie. You can
say Donald Trump, say that he might be wrong, but

(49:57):
you better give a good argument for both sides. And Billy,
this is what I like about your show. It's that
you are trying to get to the truth, that you
are not spinning a narrative that is just one sided.
One hundred thousand people like you said, really, how do
you know? You're exactly spot on? Billy, mister positive wants

(50:17):
everyone to go for your dreams and keep being you.
Billy and the Marconi Awards, I am very impressed, and
you know, just keep on being you. And you know
hear both sides. Though I have no.

Speaker 1 (50:31):
Problem with being a great American, I have no problem
being I am. And when you listen to talk radio,
you listen to Mark Levin, my favorite, listen to Sean Hannity,
the greatest of all time, Rush Limball, the greatest talk
show host of all time, didn't make it in TV,
and Bill O'Reilly, maybe the greatest cable star of all time,
couldn't make it in radio. But Sean Hannity dominates radio

(50:52):
and dominates TV because when you listen in or watch,
you know the viewpoint you're gonna hear when you when
you listen to me on Sunday Nights, I'm gonna conservative
of libertarian influences, and I present a viewpoint. I do
not tell you I'm objective. I'm a journalist. I'm gonna
tell you the truth, unvarnished. I have an opinion, and
when you call in, you understand that I have that viewpoint.

(51:14):
That is not the case of NBC, CBS, ABC, etc.
PBS is the worst that they present themselves and lie
to you by saying we're journalists when in reality they're
left rowing audiologues and they trick people into believing lies
because it fits their bias. And the last election, if
a person received most or all of their news from

(51:38):
the mainstream media outlets, they voted Democrat eighty two percent
of the time because you didn't get a different viewpoint.
I spend time. I cannot watch the view that's a
bridge too far from me. But I often will watch
MSNBC so you don't have to. I watch Dana Bash
on CNN so you don't have to I try to

(51:59):
watch Laura Coats in the Evening and Abby Philip because
that means you don't have to. They pretend as if
they're objective, were just the opposite is true, So they
lie to you in a regular basis to allow public
airwaves to be used to accuse our president of killing
one hundred thousand Americans.

Speaker 6 (52:19):
The ill Budget Lab estimates that it will kill over
ten years one hundred thousand people.

Speaker 7 (52:26):
That is two thousand days of death.

Speaker 1 (52:30):
That's Larry Summers broadcasted by ABC News and George Stephanopolis
going to get sued again and probably pay off again
because that is false. It is a lie. There are
no cuts to medicaid. In fact, Medicaid spending is going
up now. If you're an illegal alien or you're a freeloader,

(52:50):
you hopefully will be cut off Medicaid by the federal
government and cooperation with the states, and it should be
that way. That's the Clintonesta approach about government benefits to
able bodied American adults. So if you're able bodied, get
the hell off Medicaid and food stamps, go to work.
On the other hand, if you're illegal, you should get

(53:12):
zero benefits. Overall benefits spending for medicaid is going up
every year for the next ten years. As far as
I can see, only in Washington is an increase of
four to six percent considered a cut only in Washington. Well,
let's continue. We have full lines. Of course, of a
line becomes available, next call be from Utah and then Maryland,

(53:34):
then Florida and Idaho and many places in between. We
have time for your call. Eight six six six four
seven seven three three seven. Bill cunning in the Great
American with you every Sunday. By Billy Cunning in the

(53:54):
Great American. Let's continue. The Big Beautiful Bill has passed
sign on the fourth of July, and the left uses
this as an occasion to riot in cities like Portland,
Oregon and Seattle. Have millions protesting all over the country
on the fourth of July. You know, we spoke practically
everything in the Big Beautiful Bill is something that Donald

(54:17):
said he would do if elected. Go down the line
he's keeping promises. So in a democratic way, with a
small d we voted. Fifty seven million plus of us said,
you know what, that's what I want. I want to
I believe that if we elect this guy, he's going
to give us things like continuation of the tax cuts
and a child tax credit and no taxes and overtime

(54:40):
and tips, and social security reduction and funding the border wall,
and increasing defense spending and reforming medicaid even though it's
increasing and spending every year. Illegal should not be on it.
We have to do something about the salt cap that
byther we went up to forty thousand dollars over my
objections and many others. So going down the top list

(55:02):
of the bottom, he said exactly what he was going
to do, and damnit, he did it. And now it's
been passed and there's two or three more reconciliation bills coming.
This is in the end of it is the beginning.
The Democrats fear success. They'd rather have the country lose
as long as they get power back. And if Trump

(55:24):
is successful over the next almost year and a half
until the next election, there'll be more jobs, there will
be less budget deficit, the southern border will be more secure,
the military with the Golden Dome will be in better shape,
and working class Americans will get a tax break. Not
too many rich people I know rely upon tips. Not
too many rich people I know rely upon social security.

(55:47):
Not too many rich, rich people I know pay tax
on overtime. It doesn't happen. This is a working class
bill that probably ninety percent of this, if on the
ballot by itself, would easily pass. But by the time
the mainstream media gets done smearing Donald Trump and calling
him a killer of one hundred thousand people, one hundred

(56:08):
thousand America is going to be killed.

Speaker 6 (56:10):
But the ill Budget Lab estimates that it will kill
over ten years, one hundred thousand people.

Speaker 1 (56:17):
That's ABC News George Deefanoppos's friend and guest Larry Summers.
This morning headline is ABC News about to get sued
again because that is untethered to reality and the Democrats
fear success. What happens if these things work as they
always have been with John F. Kennedy Ronald Reagan on

(56:38):
the first Trump term, you have minuscule tax reductions generating
more economic activity, meaning there's less deficit, less debt, more
people are working, happy days. You're here again. It's morning
in America. Every time it's been tried, it's worked, and
the Democrats fear it's going to work. So the messaging
needs to get out that Donald Trump's going to kill

(57:00):
one hundred thousand Americans. What wow. Let's continue with your
calls all over the country. If line becomes available eight
sixty six six four seven seven three three seven. Bill
cunning and the Grand American with you. And by the way,
all great Americans on this fourth of July weekend, celebration
with you every Sunday night, Franell. Let's continue. Whenever stop,

(57:40):
we simply continue if line ever becomes available eight sixty
six six four seven seven three three seven. They have
a sense the media and the Democrats are rooting against
the success of our great nation. That they want it
to fail makes them feel better, confirms their viewpoint of
this country. And the younger you are, the more edge

(58:00):
that you are, the more indoctrinated you are, the more
you have ill feelings about America. Garbage in, garbage out.
One cannot watch the mainstream media or read a big
city newspaper and think, boy, this is a great place
to live. I can't wait to get up the moorrow morning.
It's going to be better. Are you kidding me? You
can't do it? And it's sick and it's said, I've

(58:20):
not read this. I'm told by a senator, a friend
of mine that PBS and NPR has been defunded, but
now they have lawsuits pending to keep their funding coming.
By the way, aren't I public radio? Yes, Premiere, et cetera.
The number of stations I'm on, the outlets I have
from Collier County all the way through Atlaska to why

(58:42):
Over to Maine. Isn't the great American Bill Cunningham? Aren't
I involved in public radio? I'm in the public and
I'm in radio. But the government doesn't pay me five
hundred million dollars a year to broadcast my viewpoints? Why
do we have Lowsey NPR And every now and then
PBS says something on I may want to watch, Like

(59:03):
the Roosevelt thing over the weekend was pretty good, but
by the way, his policies FDR policies didn't work. Despite
all the media fawning over FDR, he took over in
March of nineteen thirty three, and things are just as
bad in thirty seven, thirty eight as they were in
thirty one, thirty two, and thirty His policies didn't work,

(59:25):
but the media loved the guy. But nonetheless, we don't
need a public broadcaster right now because I am public
broadcasting and so's so's this Sunday Morning with George Stefanoppli's GMA.
That's public and they're talking about Donald Trump killing one
hundred thousand people over the next ten years because of

(59:46):
non existent Medicaid cuts. Yes, if you're here illegally, you
may be cut off Medicaid because that's the law. And
if you're a free loader using the Clinton rule, don't
get government benefits. If you're able to work, go work,
get off snap. Other than that, there are no cuts
to medicaid. But public broadcasters are saying that the President's

(01:00:07):
going to kill one hundred thousand Americans? Are you kidding me?
Let's go back to the telephone calls as time allows.
Coming up later. See Jeff the Great Jeff crewe Heir
who wrote a book, a column, and a book about
the great things Donald Trump is doing. And I want
to post in the question how do we have a
great country if our top twenty American cities are in
complete collapse? I don't know. Can you walk through the

(01:00:31):
streets of Chicago Michigan Avenue at this hour and after
a great Cubs victory over the Cardinals and survive? Can
you walk around Los Angeles or San Francisco or Washington,
d C. Try being a couple coming out of the
Jewish Embassy in Washington. Can you walk around downtown Memphis
or Atlanta? I don't think so. It's dangerous, and no

(01:00:53):
rightful parent, given a choice whatever send their kids to
public schools because little or no education is occurring anyway.
It's awful. And so there needs to be almost a
Marshall plan for the major cities in this country. We
get the government we deserve, so the voters in these towns.
I met over the weekend a resident of Chicago who

(01:01:14):
listens to me every sun in that on GN and thinking,
you know, why don't I've asked her how come Chicago
has not had a Republican mayor? She said, in one
hundred and fifty years. I said, how bad things have
to be under the dailies. It wasn't that bad. There
were Democrats, but they were normal Democrats. What's happening with
Lorie Lightfoot now and Johnson are truly unbelievable. And he's

(01:01:37):
up for election. I guess either this year or next,
and if the voters don't turn him out, you get
what you deserve. Karen Bass has likely be re elected
the mayor of Los Angeles, for God's sakes, and didn't
think I'd ever say this, but I kind of hope
Mayor Adams wins re election in New York City. Other

(01:01:59):
than the alternative. I don't know if he's a communist,
but he certainly is a Marxist. Unbelievable. Let's go back
to the calls William in Salt Lake City and William
in Salt Lake City, Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show,
and William, how are you?

Speaker 10 (01:02:12):
I needed the greatest American I could find anywhere. I
thought I'd give you a call.

Speaker 1 (01:02:17):
God bless America. Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 10 (01:02:19):
Okay, I remember when Rush got three phone calls from
guys saying, why don't we drop back and let him
take it once? Just to show what they would do
for an example. Well, they stole Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and it's
thanks so bad we could smell it over here.

Speaker 1 (01:02:37):
Yeah, a big garbage strike. It's terrible. What large American
city controlled by Democrats for more than fifty years is
well run, safe, plenty of good jobs, a respectful police division,
in good public schools. Give me the name of that city.

Speaker 10 (01:02:53):
I think they stole it as what I think they
did that election.

Speaker 1 (01:02:58):
Well, we'll say by the Chinese drivers line. Question was no.

Speaker 10 (01:03:01):
Second question was what would the benefits to the Second
Amendment in the Great Big Blue Bill.

Speaker 1 (01:03:07):
Oh, having the synopsis, I see there's something to do
with silencers. There was supposed to be some effort to
illegalize silencers, and that didn't happen. So the Second Amendment
has left to I think right now the Second Amendments
in pretty good shape, except in the major cities in
which they keep passing law saying you can't protect yourself.
In fact, if the next Mayor of New York is elected,

(01:03:30):
we may have a circumstance where he's going to try
to confiscate all the guns in New York City. He
wants he wants no bail for criminal offenses. He wants
to eliminate as much as possible, eliminate all the court
system and the police. It's really unbelievable, I.

Speaker 10 (01:03:46):
Pic sure in New York City completely surrounded. Well, my
third point was, wo must go ahead and start a party.
Go ahead. I understand he's not a US citizen. He
was born in Southend, Africa.

Speaker 1 (01:04:01):
Well, he's legal, I guess in a sense. But Elon
Musk will have little or no success with the third party.
Talk to Ross Perrau about that. In fact, if I'm
a shareholder of one of the companies owned by Elon Musk,
he's getting sued by hundreds of shareholders because the CEO
is not devoting his time to the success of the
business he ought to spend his time. He's built great

(01:04:23):
businesses and he's from South Africa, which is fine. Came
into the country legally. He built these huge businesses. But
every now and then I think he loses his way.
And by that I mean Elon Musk gotta worry about
business and leave politics alone. What do you think about that.

Speaker 10 (01:04:40):
Sixth te for Tyrannus?

Speaker 1 (01:04:43):
Well, there you go. Well let's continue And I have
a text here for my good friend, and I mean
my good friend Bootsy Collins. Hey, this is Bootsy Colleges.
He said, don't hate on PBS. I think they do
a good job. I don't like the politics BS. They
weave it into writing. They should have to put the
opposite views on these stations. I Bootsy Collins in the

(01:05:05):
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the best there is
backed up James Brown, front man couldn't agree more if
PPS and NPR. By the way, PPS has lots of
good series I watch every now and then, but NPR
especially to give the other viewpoint. That's all I'm saying
that government should not fund left wing extremist government. If

(01:05:27):
they have a funding of a public broadcaster should have
equal time. But I think it's unnecessary completely in today's world,
with the Internet, with podcasts, et cetera. But he ends.
Bootsy ends up to me by saying, much love Bill.
I love your shows, and you Bootsy Collins. If you
were a woman, i'd kiss you right on the lips.
I love Bootsy Collins. Let's continue in your calls and

(01:05:48):
see maybe I shouldn't have said that, but I love
Bootsy Collins. And now let's continue now with Chris and
Fort Collins, Colorado. I believe Chris and Colorado. Welcome to
the Bill Cunningham Show. Chris, how are you?

Speaker 13 (01:06:01):
I'm doing great, Bill, Thanks for having me, and thanks
to being a great American.

Speaker 1 (01:06:05):
Thank you, thank you.

Speaker 13 (01:06:08):
I got a two part question. First of all, you
being a big libertarian. Me myself, I'm a libertarian. And
as far as this too, you know this Elon Musk
Party thing. What happened to Elon? I thought he was
the dodge King all of a sudden. When it comes

(01:06:31):
to killing his programs, he's not for killing government waste.
What's up with that, Chris.

Speaker 1 (01:06:40):
I'll say this that when you get into a fight
with Donald Trump, there's not been too many have succeeded
in that pugilistic effort. And I don't get it. Elon
Musk receives literally billions of dollars from the federal government,
and right or wrong, good or bad, Donald Trump has
the ability to severely impact his businesses in a negative way.

(01:07:00):
Whenever a businessman gets involved in politics and want to
sell products to everyone across the political spectrum, you're making
a mistake. And one thing I think Elon and Muscot
to do is to vote more of his time and
talents to his businesses and which shareholders demand his time
and talents to increase the value of their holdings. Elon
must do. He spent months and months on the campaign trail.

(01:07:24):
What was he spending with Tesla or SpaceX or He's
got fifty other businesses and God bless him, he helped
I think Donald Trump get elected. Honestly, his money he
spent about a quarter of a billion dollars promoting Donald Trump.
He spent about eighty million dollars in the Wisconsin Supreme
Court race. That didn't work at all, by the way,
and his time and talents is in business, not politics.

(01:07:46):
And so if I'm a shareholder, I'm concerned about a
leader who's more involved in politics than business. His goal
is a business owner ought to be doing and hands
value for the shareholders. It should not be to get
in politics because you want to sell. When I was
actively involved in the chicken wing business, I own a
bunch of chicken wing restaurants.

Speaker 5 (01:08:07):
Hell.

Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
I wanted to sell chicken wings, the Democrats, Republicans, to white, black, brown, green, purple, dot.
I want to sell chicken wings to everybody. I didn't
want anybody get angry at me because of politics. And
I buy my chicken wings. And so if I'm Elon Musk,
you ought to be in the business of maximizing shareholder
value and let politics die on the vine. He was

(01:08:27):
very useful to Donald Trump. But I would not want
in a fight with that guy, would you.

Speaker 13 (01:08:33):
Well, it's pretty obvious, Yeah, don't you don't pick a
fight with Donald Trump. No, he doesn't forget. No, he
doesn't forget. And you know, Elon did great, So I'm
a big Elon fan, but I don't know why he flipped.
But my second question is this, what happened to the

(01:08:55):
sales of government land and Sean Ryan all right getting
people to stop that.

Speaker 4 (01:09:05):
Did it go through?

Speaker 1 (01:09:06):
It did not? It did not a center. Mike Lee
was another one who wanted to sell off millions of
acres of government land. And it's not in the big
beautiful bill.

Speaker 13 (01:09:19):
And how do you feel. What's your opinion on government
land ownership and should it just be national parks? And
how much do we own? And should we sell it?

Speaker 1 (01:09:31):
We should sell as much as possible and use the
money to pay off the national debt, which is confiscatory
of our children's future. We cannot have a country that
spends a trillion dollars year in interest. And if these
two trillion dollars a year deficits continue, and that's what
Trump says is going to happen for a long time. Well,
we're going to be spending two trillion dollars in interest

(01:09:53):
on the national debt ten years from now. And we're
as close to that as we are of the year
twenty fifteen when the Trump's it came down the escalator.
My only disappointment with him is a failure to cut
government spending in a more serious way. He did everything
he could. Look what the Democrats and the media are
doing with the guy when he's increasing Medicaid spending by

(01:10:15):
four to six percent every year. He's called a killer
by ABC News, George Sephanopolis and Larry Summers. And you
can imagine the real money is in Social Security and
Medicare and Medicaid. And you know it put me in charge.
You got to increase the retirement age significantly. If you're
rich and retired, you should not get Social Security at all.

(01:10:38):
And it just seems to me the solutions are obvious,
but the government can't do them because look how Donald
Trump is attacked for increasing spending on Medicaid. He's called
a killer for increasing it but not increasing it enough.
And that is ridiculous. Thanks for your call. Is continue
the line becomes available, which it never does eight sixty
six six four seven seven three three seven. Whenever I

(01:11:00):
get a text from the Great Bootsy Collins puts a
big smile on my face. Bill Cunningham, with you every
Sunday Night. Let's continue in every stop, we simply continue.
One of my favorite columnists is Cheff crue Heir. He's

(01:11:20):
a native New Orleans and Los Angeles and ringside politics
this his genre, has written many books on the subject,
and I had him on a few months ago about
what happened New Orleans with that Islamic radical that killed
so many on Bourbon Street and how the incompetence of
New Orleans police allowed it to take place. And their

(01:11:42):
mayor is a typical mayor of a big city, spending
large amounts of money on stupid stuff and not fully
funding law enforcement in one sense or another. And New
Orleans is one of those great cities that it's a
nice place to visit. I wouldn't want to live there.
I'm not even sure Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Washington,

(01:12:03):
d C. Memphis nice place to visit. I'm not sure
it's a nice place to visit. I had on your
friend and mine, Wayne Allen Root last week, who said
that if you live in Los Angeles, you don't drive
a nice car worth a one hundred grand or more
because the gang bangers will are wedge you in and
put guns up against the windshield and just steal rob

(01:12:24):
you right there. There's about one hundred and twenty five
thousand gang members in Los Angeles. One hundred and twenty
five thousand members of gangs. There's about another one hundred
thousand that are homeless, individuals on drugs, using drugs on
city streets, urinating, fornicating, defecating in public, and tents living

(01:12:44):
in streets with filth everywhere, Rampant crime, non existent law enforcement.
LAPD is thoroughly demoralized. They don't want to rest anybody.
Taxes are confiscatory, and that's the true of many great
American cities. Had opulent, wonderful, soaring American municipalities, and the

(01:13:05):
last twenty to thirty years they've gone right down the crap.
Or Democrats functioned for large parts running big cities, like
the Dailies in Chicago, or the Bloomberg who was a Democrat,
really ran New York City for twelve years, did a
pretty damn good job, and they were good mayors in
Los Angeles. But right now the cities are ruined. Can
we be a great nation long term? If every major

(01:13:29):
American city is in total collapse? Can that happen? And
Jeff Crer has written some columns about the looming threat
to our homeland. We got through fourth of July without
the Iranians terrorists let into the country by Joe Biden
do anything too dastardly that we're aware of. Of course,
the run of the mill. About one hundred people were

(01:13:49):
shot this weekend in city of Chicago and my city
of Cincinnati. This year, there's going to be five hundred
people shot in the little city of Cincinnati, and it's
going to be what twenty twenty five thousand murders. There'll
be more than one hundred and fifty thousand people wounded
on the streets of America and the large cities. It's awful.
Crime takes place everywhere, but the frequency of crime and

(01:14:12):
the major cities is despicable. And now that the Iranian
terrorists have gotten the green light to attack us, I
guess all of us are holding our breath until the
attacks come from Islamic terrorists, including the burning of Jews
openly in Colorado, the gunning down of Jewish couples in Washington,
d c. Governor's home Shapiro, and Pennsylvania was firebombed, and

(01:14:34):
this unspeakable violence is happening, and cities proceed Willy Nelly
as if it's okay. Well it's not okay. We cannot
be a great nation with large American cities in complete collapse.
And I've write columns, let la burn, let them go,
leave Chicago alone. If the voters will not throw out

(01:14:56):
the bums and the derelicts, why should the general American
taxpayer under the assistance of people in Chicago. If you're
not willing yourself to get rid of the feckless, foolish
Marxist that runs city government, why should we and of
New York City in November really elects a communist slash Marxist. Well,
many say let them live with it, live with it.

(01:15:19):
I'm not so sure that's the case. But I do
not believe as a great American myself that we can
long survive as a great nation if every major American
city is in complete collapse. And that's what's happening. So
stay tuned. I'm going to put a call in the
Jeff crue Heir and UH and New Orleans about what's
happening New Orleans, the looming threat to our homeland. He's

(01:15:42):
got to call them up about how cities are run
today later on as Steve gorm On Weather and things
of that character. If line becomes available eight sixty six
six four seven seven three three seven Bill cunning and
the Great American with you and all great Americans every Sunday.

Speaker 5 (01:16:00):
Night, Willie.

Speaker 2 (01:16:34):
Bad the Ball rock you by Choice Hotels, Econo Lodge
and Roadway In Hotels are serving up double points for
every qualifying stay book at Choice hotels dot com. Now
here's the man who's been recognized. There's radio's best, the
recipient of not one but two prestigious Marconi Awards for
his broadcast excellence, the one and only Bill Cunningham.

Speaker 1 (01:16:57):
By Bully Cunningham, the Grand American once again. Fourth, My
weekend is fabulous. It's celebrating the two hundred and forty
ninth birthday, two hundred and fifty. Next year, unfortunately for
the Democrats and the Liberals, even going to be better
after all the BBB and everything passes. After another year
of it, the numbers are going to be more incredible.
Of course, the market is up, the job creation is

(01:17:18):
breaking records the last four months way up. The border
is down, which is a good thing because illegals aren't
coming into the country. The Trumpster wins at the Supreme Court.
He's dropping those bunker buster bombs all over Iran. Gasoline
prices are basically below three dollars a gallon might be
two dollars by the time in other years, two goes by,
and Iran is now subjugated. Everywhere I look, I see

(01:17:42):
greatness happening, except when I listened to a Democrat like
Akeem Jefferies once again. Jeff crue Air is a great author,
radio talk show host, many columns up at Jeffcruair dot com.
And Jeff once again, welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show.
And you have a great column up about how the
big beautiful Bill is going to keep energy industry strong.
Anyone who's driving this weekend understands what's been going on.

(01:18:05):
So just get me an overview of the most important,
the greatest six months I think any president has had
outside of FDR and the behavior of our good friend
Donald Trump.

Speaker 14 (01:18:16):
I mean, it's been amazing, Bill, you outlined it. I'd
like to just start on the border. I mean I
think that, I mean, of all the great accomplishments, and
you hit them all. I mean, reducing the invasion of
the border to zero. Going from twenty million to zero
in the span of five and a half months is

(01:18:38):
just unbelievable. And you know, it's just been a testament
to the fact that President Trump has made it a priority.
He's put a lot of effort into it. The border
patrol now is unleashed. They can do their job. Ice
is trying to do their job. All the Democrats is
trying to stop them everywhere they turn around them. They

(01:19:00):
try to prevent them from deporting criminal alien illegals from
our country.

Speaker 4 (01:19:05):
But I mean, it's just it's going to.

Speaker 14 (01:19:08):
Take a while to recover from the massive influx that
we had during Biden to.

Speaker 4 (01:19:13):
Round up all these people.

Speaker 14 (01:19:16):
My prayer is that there's not going to be any
kind of an attack launched by any sleeper sales or
any kind of you know, terrorist group that has been
led into this country by Joe Biden. But we have
stopped it, and that is just amazing, as it can
get even better with more of the resources going towards
the border wall and border patrols. So that's just been

(01:19:38):
an incredible accomplishment.

Speaker 1 (01:19:39):
Film and Jeff Career. The last couple of years, we've
been told repeatedly by the Democratic Party. Biden does not
have the power to do shut down the Southern boarder.
He can't do that. Win need a lot more agents,
winning a twenty five billion dollar bill to not build fences,
but a higher more administrative judges, and more lawyers. It
can't be done. Well, what what the hell happened to

(01:20:00):
that argument? What happened to the fact that he needs
more money? We got? What happened?

Speaker 14 (01:20:06):
Well, we were lied to, as we have been so
many times over the years by Democrats, and it just
took a new president, That's all it took. And it
took an emphasis on the issue. And we now had
that security knowing that we've got a border where we're.

Speaker 4 (01:20:22):
Not being invaded anymore.

Speaker 14 (01:20:24):
But we do have the problem that still needs to
be tackled of the millions of illegals that are here
in the country. We need to take away their benefits.
I mean, they're illegals. Shouldn't be getting medicaid, illegals shouldn't
be getting constitutional rights. I mean, these people are I'm sorry,
when you cross the border illegally, you commit a crime.

Speaker 4 (01:20:45):
The Criminals Bill, they're criminals.

Speaker 1 (01:20:48):
As far. You have a great column up about a
story I'm told and we pray to God it doesn't happen.
It says looming threat to our homeland under date of
June twenty third, about ten days ago, in which you
lay out Operation mid not Hammer, how good it was.
But there's a concern what's happening to the homeland. And

(01:21:08):
there's a concern that we've not seen the end of
Iranian influences. I know there was a concern after Operation
min not Hammer was so successful with those bunker buster bombs,
the media quickly had to undermine what Trump had done
because it was too good for him to had to
undermine it quickly. But there's another concern about the sleeper cells.

(01:21:29):
Explain what happened the past four years from the southern
border and how those Biden sleeper cells are all over
the country right.

Speaker 14 (01:21:39):
Well, the estimates are that people flooded in here from
anywhere between one hundred and sixty to two hundred nations.
That between twenty twenty one and January twenty twenty five,
up to twenty million people.

Speaker 4 (01:21:52):
Flooded in here.

Speaker 14 (01:21:53):
I've heard differing amounts, but let's just say maybe fifteen
million be conservative.

Speaker 4 (01:21:59):
Yeah, we university study.

Speaker 14 (01:22:01):
He had estimated that we had twenty two million illegals
here in twenty eighteen, so you add another fifteen million
to that, possibly thirty seven million. We keep hearing from
the media that there's only eleven million. Of course that's ridiculous.
They've been using that number for thirty years. And among
these people are you know, Iranians that were allowed in

(01:22:22):
here by the Biden administration. Iranian nationals twelve hundred and
seventy two. They found Iranian passports, They found prayer rugs
at the border of this massive number at least two
million or what they called godaways that were not processed,
that flooded in here and went who knows where, who

(01:22:43):
knows who they are. Tom Holman says it keeps him
up at tonight if he's worried.

Speaker 4 (01:22:48):
I'm worried. This is a guy.

Speaker 14 (01:22:49):
Who is an absolute rock star. I mean, we got
a borders are now. Remember we used to have Kamala Harris, he.

Speaker 4 (01:22:55):
Was our borders are.

Speaker 1 (01:22:58):
Yeah, yeah, Czarina.

Speaker 14 (01:23:00):
But now we know we got a guy that the
President Trump said came out of Central casting. I mean,
this is the guy that you want to be the
borders are.

Speaker 4 (01:23:08):
A tough guy.

Speaker 14 (01:23:09):
That's who we need, and he's doing a great job.
Of course, they're trying to prevent ice from from doing
their work. They're trying to create protests and chaos and
all the big cities, and yeah, we cannot allow that.

Speaker 4 (01:23:21):
Bill.

Speaker 1 (01:23:21):
Well, one thing that I see in New Orleans and
you have to live it. I live a little bit
in Cincinnati. And Cincinnati we have something called the red bikes,
which are these temporary means that like a little little
mopeds you can put your credit card in a way
you go and we're going to have this weekend. You
can't get a red bike because in downtown Cincinnati or
OTR because of all the car break ins and thievery happening.

(01:23:44):
And I'm thinking, why we can't operate an electric moped anymore?
Or in New Orleans you have about the worst mayor,
unless when you consider I think Karen Bass and Brandon
Johnson is pretty bad. Of course, the next mayor of
New York City would be a joke. You have a
terrible And I'm thinking, can we have a great country
when our major cities are in complete collapse?

Speaker 4 (01:24:08):
You know that is a great point.

Speaker 14 (01:24:10):
Every one of these cities is a disaster zone, and
it's because the residents of those cities keep electing these progresses.

Speaker 4 (01:24:16):
And in New York, there.

Speaker 14 (01:24:17):
On the verge of electing a communist, we have LaToya
the destroya cantrell as our mayor. She is someone that
has destroyed the economy. She's traveled all over the world
to go to climate change conferences and conferences that are
put on by the UN and the Bloomberg Institute and
the Aspen Institute. Yeah, we've got a city that needs

(01:24:39):
governing and she cannot care less about New Orleans and
wants to just travel over the world. And that's what
we see in a lot of these other big cities
mayors that aren't focused on the job. So yeah, I
mean it's at some point the residents of these areas
are going to have to wake up and see, hey,
what we're.

Speaker 4 (01:24:57):
Doing is not working.

Speaker 14 (01:24:59):
I mean, these mayors, these policies don't work. Socialism doesn't work, Bill,
There's no example of it working anywhere in the world.
It doesn't work. And maybe they'll finally start changing how
they vote.

Speaker 1 (01:25:12):
You know, it begins with a public education which is
in complete collapse. And I can't imagine going to a
New Orleans public school as a broad eyed, six year
old first grader, ready to learn and what you have
to confront. I can't imagine going to school in Chicago
public schools. I know what's like. In Cincinnati. It's a
terrible public schools that are more and more expensive. New

(01:25:33):
York City's got to be worse. Hell, there's over one
hundred different languages spoken in New York City. You have
to have different interpreters for every classroom. It's completely dysfunctional.
In La County schools right now, the academic standards are
below Bangladesh. And in Philadelphia, hell, they can't pick up
the garbage. And in Chicago this weekend there's going to
be about ten people murdered and fifty people shot. And

(01:25:57):
then the solution I'm looking at, ma'am don on these
positions to bring to New York City, our greatest supposedly
our greatest city with eight and a half million residents,
he says, we're gonna defund the police, We're gonna abolish
the prison system. We're gonna have no bail for someone arrested.
We're gonna prohibit state operated hospitals from suing anyone who

(01:26:17):
doesn't pay a bill. We're gonna have universal health care
for everybody, everyone who walks into an emergency room. We're
gonna ban all private ownership of guns. We're gonna decriminalize
sex work. We're gonna provide safe injection zones and sites
with needles for illegal drugs that the city in New
York's is gonna buy being the drug business. Or we're
gonna decriminalize drug possession and end cooperation with federal officials.

(01:26:43):
How we look at a New York city. If this
guy gets elected, I'm gonna.

Speaker 14 (01:26:48):
Make a bowl prediction on your show. I think he
will not be elected. Okay, I think enough people will
come to their senses.

Speaker 4 (01:26:56):
There and not elect this guy. He's a communist.

Speaker 14 (01:26:59):
The problem with it is they're going to eventually run
out of other people's money. You know, Margaret Thatcher's famous
saying about socialism.

Speaker 4 (01:27:06):
That's the problem.

Speaker 14 (01:27:07):
And all the people that are rich in New York,
if these are going to be the policies, they're going
to start leaving. I mean, Palm Beach will benefit, Florida
will benefit, but New York certainly won't. He's so radical.
Kathy Hochel hasn't gotten on board with him. Chuck Schumer
hasn't gotten on board with him. I mean he does
have AOC. He does have the most radical member of Congress, AOC, who,

(01:27:29):
by the way, in one poll that I saw Democrats
looking in twenty twenty eight, was running number two in
the presidential line up, behind Pete Buddha Judge, another failure,
the mayor of South ben Indiana, who's never accomplished anything.
So that two the Democrats are presenting in twenty twenty eight,
Mayor Pete AOC. Kamala Harris is so terrible. She is

(01:27:54):
behind those guys. So they're in a world of hurt.

Speaker 1 (01:27:59):
Bill I would say this, Jeff Carr, I think it's
a great idea. I think AOC for president and maybe
Jasmine Crockett for VP, and then have Jeff and have
Booted Jets secretary of State. And I'm thinking, you know,
we get the government we deserve. And so AOC's path
to the Senate is wide open against Chuck Schumer in

(01:28:19):
twenty six in fact, she's thirty points up on Chuck Schumer.
And so I know what's going to happen in New
York and the Empire State if AOC runs for the Senate. Damn,
She's gonna win.

Speaker 13 (01:28:30):
Now.

Speaker 1 (01:28:30):
Lastly, the big Beautiful bill has exemptions for Americans who
work for tips, who enjoy getting overtime pay, and those
on Social Security. The last time I checked Jeff Bezos
and Elon Musk, I don't think they work for tips.
I don't think they clocked in for overtime. I don't

(01:28:52):
think they worry about Social Security. But to watch the
meet every time, every time I look up, it's Medicaid
cut by a trillion dollar. And so the messaging from
the mainstream media, which you can't believe, you know, lie
circle the globe before truth can take it first step,
that this bill is about helping working class Americans put

(01:29:13):
a tank to gas in their car and getting tip
money over time and social Security. But the media doesn't
tell that. Tell you that, do they?

Speaker 4 (01:29:23):
They don't. I mean, the media is a bunch of liars.
We know that bill.

Speaker 14 (01:29:26):
They're they're horrible, they're biased, ninety three percent negative coverage
of President Trump, sixty percent positive coverage of Biden. I mean,
they're just so left wing. But the deal with this
bill is, of course, if it didn't pass, you have
a sixty eight percent increase in taxes that would hurt
the economy. That would hurt everybody in this economy. We
have seen under President Trump inflation going down, gasoline prices

(01:29:49):
going down, eight prices, remember they were talking about eggs
for so long. Eight prices are going down, so people
have more money in their pockets so they can spend
on their families. That's working class folks can benefit their
families more. Not I mean to pay for bidnomics, which
was so horrible that we've already had tremendous strives in

(01:30:09):
the right direction in just a few months. The bill
is going to help us even more with the with
the economy and average working class folks. It's not a
gift to billionaire. That's the tired talking point of the
Democrats saying, you know, all all Donald Trump wants to
do is healthy at billionaires. His focus is on average Americans,

(01:30:30):
I mean working class people. That's who he's trying to help,
and that's why he's so popular. Working class folks that
are that are, you know, helping their families and working hard.
They understand and Trumps their champion. And that's what the.

Speaker 4 (01:30:43):
Democrats don't have.

Speaker 14 (01:30:44):
I don't have anybody that can relate to working class people.

Speaker 1 (01:30:47):
Do nothing, and in fact they're funded by the shall
we say, the elite, The billionaire class funds the Democratic
Party headquartered and major cities that are complete collapse. Now, lastly,
let's assume the Democrats would have had their way and
the BBB did not pass. You give me a number.
Let's say you're a working class American and you get

(01:31:07):
some overtime, Well, guess what you're gonna pay tax on that.
That's a Democratic plan. If you get tips, I don't
know about you. I don't get too many tips, but
nonetheless a lot of people do. I spent a long
time as a bar back, as a bartender, I washed dishes,
I shared tips. If you're a working schlip. The Republicans
want to not tax tips, they want to not tax

(01:31:28):
overtime and give Social Security recipients a break, and they
want Medicaid only for Americans and Democrats impose that. Is
that the way the media covers that one.

Speaker 14 (01:31:40):
Yeah, and I think people realize that the Democrats are
not for average, hardworking people. They're for illegals, and they're
for criminals.

Speaker 4 (01:31:49):
I mean that's the constituency of Democrat Party.

Speaker 14 (01:31:52):
I mean, all all the opokems are trying to do
is make sure that Medicaid goes to people that are
American citizens, not illegals. And make sure that people have
minimum work requirements. I mean minimum. I mean you can't
be on the couch all day and.

Speaker 3 (01:32:06):
Expect to be accepting all of these benefits.

Speaker 14 (01:32:09):
That's not the American way. So the Democrats are crying
about that. They want people not to work, They want
people to, you know, break the laws. They don't want
the members.

Speaker 4 (01:32:19):
Of ICE to do their job.

Speaker 14 (01:32:21):
They are on the wrong side of pretty much every issue, and.

Speaker 11 (01:32:25):
That's why they're in such disarray.

Speaker 14 (01:32:27):
I mean, they're really out of touch with America more
than I've ever seen any party bill. It's a beautiful thing, though,
because we don't want them anywhere near power.

Speaker 1 (01:32:38):
It was wonderful to watch the CNN and MSNBC reaction
to the June jobs number predict it was to be
one hundred and ten thousand turn out to be one
hundred and fifty thousand, fifty percent increase in job creation,
and to watch the mainstream to try to spend that
was hilarious. But Jeff Crueer continue to have a great
Fourth of July weekend. Let's see what happens down the road.
But happy days are here again. The Trump there is

(01:33:00):
going to celebrate next summer the two hundred and fiftieth
anniversary the declaration of Independence. A year from now, the
economy will be stronger than it is today. Peace will
break out throughout the world. The stock market will be higher,
jobs will be higher, the border crossings will be down,
more Supreme Court victories, gasoline will be given away free,
and ron will be contained. We have peace in Central Africa,

(01:33:22):
and the media must find something to attack Donald Trump about.
But Jeff for crue air, good books and good commentary,
and once again thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show.
And I'll tell you what. I'll bet you a bull
of jumbalaya. I'll bet you a bull of jumbalaya that
somehow Mandamie's gonna win the mayorship in New York City.
You want to make up, I'll give you a tub

(01:33:43):
of Greater's ice cream in exchange for a tub of jambalaya.
I'll take Mom, Donnie, and I'll give you the field.
How about that.

Speaker 4 (01:33:51):
You got it? You got it. We're on Bill.

Speaker 1 (01:33:53):
Write that down, Write that down, Write that down. All right,
let's see what happened. But Jeff Career, thank you very much.
You're a great American. Thank you, God bless you. Let's
continue with more the line becomes available and you're the
routine and mom, Donnie's going to be the next mayor
of the City of New York. Bill Cunningham, The Grand
American Live with You every Sunday Night by Billy Cunningham

(01:34:15):
and Jeff Career makes a lot of sense. And I
should write an article on this that how do you
have great nations with lousy cities? New Orleans is one
of the worst. Cincinnati, where I live, not very good
at all. But the worst run city in America is
San Francisco, according to Chamber of Commerces, And right up

(01:34:36):
there with them is Los Angeles with Karen Bass, Chicago
with Brandon Johnson, and New York City with Adams and
maybe a socialist had taken over the helm. How in
the world can you be a great nation when practically
every major American city is an economic, social, criminal, and

(01:34:57):
educational collapse. I don't know, but maybe we can. Maybe
the rest of us can overcome our cities and the
filth and the degradation and the urination defecation, fornication, all
the homelessness, handing out clean needles, dysfunctional public schools and
no functional law enforcement and terrible, terrible governance on taxes, rules, regulations,

(01:35:20):
et cetera. Maybe there's some fantasy land and what's a
great nation can be great when it's twenty large city stink.
Maybe not. I let's continue with more coming up next
to Steve gorm about weather related issues and how it's
being used by many in order to feather their own
bed and get their own money out of government. Bill
Cunning into Great American with you and all Great Americans

(01:35:42):
every Sunday night, Bill Cunning in the Great American. Of course,
the climate is, shall we say, a ripe area for
liberals to have lots of money to spend for their

(01:36:03):
pet projects. And now in Wimbledon's ongoing, and right now
it's hot in England, which is a little bit unusual
and so across the continent that they're certainly living with
the idea that man made climate changes occurring, causing hot temperatures,
which is going to destroy the world. In fact, about
two weeks ago, I'm one of those word guys that
watch c SPAN and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas had

(01:36:24):
on a college professor out of a law school that
talked about how the executives of Excellon Mobile should be
charged with murder, actual murder, and the large oil companies
should be locked up. And of course he came to
that hearing was pointed out on a private jet that
used aviation fuel and when he got here he got
an uber ride who had gasoline. But that's a different story,

(01:36:46):
completely different story. But of course Man is on these
issues great as Steve Gorm, executive director of the Climate
Science Coalition of America, author of four books He Knows
Where the Bodies Are Buried on energy and climate change,
and most to book as Green Breakdown, The Coming Renewable
Energy Failure. And Steve Gorm, welcome again to the Bill
Cunningham Show. And first of all, Steve, how do you

(01:37:09):
overcome the idea that the media waits for a tornado
or hurricane, cold weather, hot weather, whatever it might be.
In the Midwest, we've had cold temperatures largely until about
two weeks ago, in which case got hotter than the
hinges of Hell. And so when the media keeps drumming
and beating the same idea that man made a climate change,

(01:37:30):
and global warming is occurring because of what we've done.
Is it difficult to overcome that with the media keeps
pumping in garbage in, garbage out? What's your view on that? Generally?

Speaker 3 (01:37:39):
Yeah, this is amazing. Hey, great to join you again,
will you. The media just loves this stuff. You know,
we've now they're naming thunderstorms and things. It wasn't only hurricanes,
but they're naming droughts or naming tornado sessions. We have
not only temperatures, but we got heat indexes now, which
makes everything look higher. You know, it just really is.

(01:38:02):
It's a tremendous boon to media stories, I guess. But yeah,
we had we had some big temperatures last week. We
had about one hundred and sixty million people that experienced
temperatures approaching one hundred degrees fahrenheit. And we had the
CNN saying, quote, heat waves are getting more dangerous with
climate change. We had and they said, NPR said it

(01:38:25):
was due to burning of coal, oil and gas, and
Time stated that heat waves are now three times occurred
three times as oft in the United States as they
did in the nineteen sixties. But they never give any
historical data on this, and again a great source is
a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, which does think we're

(01:38:45):
having climate problems. But they also have a state extremes
database and they list not only hot temperatures, but cold
temperatures and rainfall and all and all of the records
for the states. And so I like to show a
state high temperature records chart which has the highest recorded

(01:39:07):
temperature record in history, and of course we have one
for Ohio. Okay, how hot did it get last week
in Ohio? Was it close to one hundred?

Speaker 1 (01:39:17):
Yeah, it was like, well, the temperature was about ninety four.
The heat index was one hundred and five in Kentucky.
In the midwest, Missouri is the same way Michigan. Even
Michigan was hot. But I assume that was record setting.
Has never been that hot, has never had that much amidity,
never had that kind of heat ever before. Is that correct?

Speaker 3 (01:39:36):
No, it's not correct.

Speaker 11 (01:39:37):
I think if your listeners have heard me before, we've.

Speaker 3 (01:39:39):
Discussed every summer we go through the state record high
temperature in Ohio that was set on July twenty first,
nineteen thirty four in Gallipolis, one hundred and twelve, one
hundred and I'm sorry, one hundred and thirteen fahrenheit was
the record in Galas.

Speaker 1 (01:39:56):
One hundred and thirty. The heat index would have been
one hundred and twenty five.

Speaker 11 (01:40:00):
Yeah, probably was.

Speaker 3 (01:40:01):
As a matter of fact, we again that Noah database
shows us that thirty six of the fifty state high
records were set fifty or more years ago, a nineteen
seventy five or before. And the biggest decade for state
high records was the nineteen thirties when twenty three of
the fifty, almost half of the state high records were

(01:40:24):
set in the nineteen thirties, and that was the record
decade for Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan were
all set in the nineteen thirties. So they never tell
you this when they get their headlines, and it's really
a distortion. But we've had water warmer times in the past.

Speaker 1 (01:40:44):
Well, you talk about July twenty first, nineteen thirty four,
that was the during the heyday of Franklin Delano Roosevelt,
almost one hundred years ago. Those were the record highs
and I would assume at that point the environment was
actually in worse shape then than it is today. When
I look around, I live in the basin of Cincinnati,
which are surrounded by hills. It used to be as

(01:41:04):
a child growing up, I would see a haze over
downtown Cincinnati. I think many cities might. You might recall
smog was a huge problem in Los Angeles. But now
I look around and there's no haze. There's no smog.
Why is that? How can you have all these environmental
concerns when in reality the climate was much worse one
hundred years ago.

Speaker 3 (01:41:25):
Well, yeah, and now you're talking about real pollution, And
a great story is that air.

Speaker 11 (01:41:29):
Pollution in the United States has.

Speaker 3 (01:41:31):
Been declining at least since nineteen eighty. All of our
major pollutants covered monoxide, nitros oxide, sulfur dioxide are down
more than seventy percent. What comes out of the tail
tailpipe of your car, the Voettle organic compounds are down
ninety eight percent.

Speaker 5 (01:41:52):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:41:52):
I remember when I was a kid, we were driving
past the steel mills and Gary, north West Indiana, and
literally something just coded our windows as we drove by.
We had to stop off and wipe our windows clean
for what was in the air.

Speaker 11 (01:42:05):
That was really bad.

Speaker 3 (01:42:07):
And we used to have situations where the the river
that goes through Cleveland was I forget the name of
the river, but they'd caught on fire several times back
many decades ago. So our air is getting very much cleaner.
The problem, of course, is that the environmental groups and
many of the on the left side of the spectrum
now called carbon dioxide a pollutant. And carbon dioxide is

(01:42:30):
an odorless, harmless invisible.

Speaker 11 (01:42:32):
Gas, doesn't cause smoke or smug makes.

Speaker 3 (01:42:34):
The plants grow. We all exhale about two pounds of
CO two a day, and and that's their big concern.
We've gotten off track. Let's keep going for a reducing
real pollution and uh and not carbon dioxide.

Speaker 1 (01:42:48):
And for those who find themselves along the Ohio River
the Mississippi River, you can see in summer large numbers
of people fishing and taking product out of the Mississippi River.
I see it in the Ohio River, sam in the
Missouri River. In fact, individuals eat the fish coming out
of the Mississippi River. Was that possible thirty years ago?

Speaker 11 (01:43:10):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 3 (01:43:11):
I think a lot of our rivers are definitely better
than what they were. I'm not really sure the story there.
I do know our forests have been growing as well.
New England used to be pretty well devoid of trees.
If you look in Virginia and you go to Yorktown battlefield,
they talk about all these battles they were fighting. That
was in the Revolutionary War between our revolutionists here in

(01:43:32):
the British and they were fighting on plantation areas. There
weren't any trees. If you go to that battlefield, now.

Speaker 11 (01:43:37):
There's a huge forested area.

Speaker 3 (01:43:40):
There are no plantations. So you know, we've regrown our trees.
We reduced pollution in our air, our water is better.
All those things are great. But when you hear the news,
it's always doom and gloom on how terrible it is.
And so you've really got to take a lot of
what you hear in the press with a big green
of salt.

Speaker 1 (01:43:57):
So you don't think those who run oil companies should
be charged with homicide and put in prison for the
rest of their life.

Speaker 11 (01:44:04):
Well they shouldn't be.

Speaker 3 (01:44:05):
And by the way, you know, the Trump administration is
pushing back on this. He ordered an executive order about
a month or two ago attacking state climate laws and
the and he ordered a Pam Bondi to go after
these state and local energy laws. And the federal government

(01:44:28):
has now sued Michigan, Hawaii, New York, and I think
it's Rhode Island for their laws. But they were seeking
to get millions of dollars, even billions of dollars in
damages from oil companies for fast divisions, which the companies
didn't even admit they sold the oil that other people

(01:44:48):
used to emit. And so the Trump administration is going
after that, and these laws are going to.

Speaker 1 (01:44:53):
Be defeated in the courts.

Speaker 3 (01:44:56):
They are unconstitutional and they go beyond the state reason
a lot of other problems.

Speaker 1 (01:45:01):
So you can't be in Texas and be sued by
a liberal, say Illinois, a very liberal state. Let's say
Illinois wants to sue Indiana, Ohio, Missouri, et cetera for
pollutants coming through the air, and that can't happen. You
know what I say, Steve gorm this little bit off track.
But it's a new neo confederacy underway. You might recall

(01:45:21):
for about one hundred and fifty years the Democrats in
the South, who ran everything in the South, said you
know what, we don't comply with federal law. Well, we
don't care what the Feds say. We're not going to comply.
And here we are one hundred and fifty years later,
and the neo Confederates of today will say, well, we
got sanctuary city, sanctuary states. Federal LW doesn't apply. They
also want to sue everyone. If someone from a red

(01:45:44):
state has a pollutant that may enter into a blue state,
they want to sue that other state. Of the oil
companies and the Feds are saying, wait a minute, where
one nation under God indivisible. But the Democrats, whether in
the eighteen sixties or the twenty twenties, are saying, you
know what, federal law doesn't apply here. Isn't that a
problem then new cos the Democrats.

Speaker 11 (01:46:04):
Today, Yeah, there are certain divisions in our laws.

Speaker 3 (01:46:08):
And it's been ruled that the Clean Air Act, which
is an act of the federal government, is what controls
air pollution. But for years California has been trying to
They've been getting waivers from the EPA that allow them
to put in their own pollution laws. But the new
EPA under Ease Helden, is getting.

Speaker 11 (01:46:29):
Rid of those.

Speaker 3 (01:46:30):
Senate and House have both voted against air pollution laws
that California has put into place on electric vehicles, And
you're right, Sanctuary states and cities really are not the
purview of the states. Immigration law is the federal governments.
And same thing with air pollution. So we now have

(01:46:52):
a situation where a lot of these state laws where
they're trying to impose their own pollution laws are going
to be struck down because those laws of the purview
of the federal.

Speaker 1 (01:47:03):
Government should be But the neo confederacy of today, the
big city Democrats Illinois, California, they don't want to follow
federal law, nor did they want to do it. During
slavery times. They wanted the federal troops out of the
South and then in comes to Ku Klux Klan to
crack down on African Americans. And that was one hundred
and fifty years ago, doing the same craft today now

(01:47:24):
on the area of this big fight between Elon Musk
and the President, the Trump Star wants to get rid
of seven and a half thousand dollars of a credit
which is a gift from the federal government to buy
to make you buy an electric vehicle. I think hybrids
make a lot of sense. Explain Explain why that's a
good thing for the federal government not to course people
to buy a car they probably don't want because the

(01:47:46):
government will pay you to make that decision.

Speaker 5 (01:47:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (01:47:49):
Well, we've been doing that for years with the renewables
wind and solar an example too.

Speaker 1 (01:47:53):
Since nineteen ninety two.

Speaker 3 (01:47:54):
We've had credits and subsidies for wind and for solar,
and the federal and the Trump administration is now moving
to eliminate all of those credits and UH and the
loans and outright grants. And as you say that, we
have the seventy five hundred EV tax credit is likely

(01:48:14):
to be phased out shortly here by the federal UH government.
And I think mister mister musk Is is.

Speaker 11 (01:48:21):
Unhappy with that.

Speaker 3 (01:48:22):
By the way, I think he's a tremendous guy. He's
done great things. He built a trillion dollar company and
right and SpaceX and UH and a satellite system up
there for communications, just great things. I would hope he'd
stay out of the politics, though. I think that's where
he's gotten into and it's it's an ugly business there.

Speaker 1 (01:48:38):
Yeah, you know, yeah, please go ahead.

Speaker 3 (01:48:42):
And again, I'm not I'm not EV's, I'm not against
EV's winning solar. I'm just against subsidiz subsidizing them with
the idea. With that, we think we can stop the
ocean from rising if we do that.

Speaker 10 (01:48:51):
That's that's fool of stuff.

Speaker 1 (01:48:52):
Sounds like Obama wants to stop the win from blowing
in the oceans from rolling.

Speaker 5 (01:48:56):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
You have a great column up about romentally friendly. Normally
liberals would be caring about the whales and the birds.
The so called wind powered farms all over Indiana, for
example in Ohio, which tends to be flat, kill hundreds
of thousands of birds every year. But this chart you
have is unbelievable. Everag units of land total use footprint.

(01:49:20):
Natural gas is zero point eight, nuclear is one point zero,
coal is one point seven, solars one hundred and twenty.
Wind is eight hundred and thirty five. Biomass is one thousand,
five hundred. So if you want to have environmental friendly
use of the land, natural gas, nuclear coal is the

(01:49:44):
way to go. Put those three together. That's about three
point zero while wind is eight hundred and thirty five.
One of the environmental wackos recognize.

Speaker 3 (01:49:54):
That, well, this is this is actually data from a
scientice in Canada name called Smith. Well. He wrote a
whole book saying for one unit of electricity that you produced,
how much land do you use? What's the footprint? And
it turns out that wind and solar and biomass are
more than a hundred times as much land for that
one unit of electricity, where as you say nuclear cold

(01:50:18):
natural gas are all about one. And if we didn't
have the fear man made warming, we would consider a
windsill on biomass very environmentally unfriendly. I mean, who wants
to take one hundred times the land? So we're building
these things in farmland or building them off on rich lines.
They're also far from population centers, so we have to

(01:50:39):
go build transmission out to these things.

Speaker 11 (01:50:41):
We got to have all these big towers.

Speaker 3 (01:50:43):
And by the way, at night, nothing goes through those
towers because they go to a wind farm and there
rather they go to a solar field and there's no
sun at night. So it's just not environmentally friendly. It's
not a good idea, and we need to get back
to a sensible energy policy. And I think that we
can solve the climate with these renewables.

Speaker 1 (01:51:04):
I think the message is Steve Gorham a green breakdown.
The coming renewable and energy failure is that we have
currently the best environment we've had for about one hundred years.
My mother tells me the story when she when she
lived in over tr which is a part of Cincinnati,
that they would have newspaper. They would use windows, and

(01:51:25):
they take the newspaper print and put down the window
in order to have a little bit of a seal.
And then about once a week there was all this
cold dust that accumulated on these newspapers and then have
to lift open the window, pull out the ceilant which
was the newspaper, and throw it away because there was
coal dust everywhere inside the house. And can you imagine, yes,

(01:51:49):
And they had a love.

Speaker 3 (01:51:51):
Yes, in Chicago in the nineteen fifties, after it snowed
within four or five days, they to have a black
film on the snow. And the young folks probably don't
know what spring cleaning was for, or spring cleaning. Every
spring people would wash all the insight of their walls
to remove the coal dust.

Speaker 11 (01:52:05):
But now we have natural guess it's very very clean.

Speaker 1 (01:52:08):
Yes, and it's just.

Speaker 3 (01:52:09):
A part of our cleaner environment.

Speaker 1 (01:52:11):
Well, the truth will set us free. And I'm Steve,
I'm glad you're out there with information. The facts are important.
But the reason the green energy movement is succeeding is
goes liberals take over and they fund their buddies with
all these studies and reports. They have huge departments put
to work, lots of people, lots of seminars, lots of traveling,
lots of hotel rooms, fancy food, fancy wine. They got

(01:52:32):
to be served when in reality we're all against pollution.
All of us are in favor of a clean energy future.
And Steve Gorm you're a great American and thanks for
coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. Thank you, Steve, Thank you, Bill.
God bless you. Let's continue with more. The truth will
set you free. Bill Cunningham, the Great American, live with
you every Sunday night. Hi, Billy Cunningham, thanks for listening tonight.

(01:52:52):
The Big Beautiful Bill is now law. The Democrats in
the media are calling Donald Trump a killer and worse.
God have mercy on those who have tried to save
the lives of so many innocent children. And you have
to think about some eighty one eighty two people are dead,
so many little girls are dead, and that they're right

(01:53:13):
to heaven. They're going to be angels immediately in heaven. Above,
there's nothing more special than young ladies and girls attending
these evangelical Christian camps. They have that happened is really
is unspeakable. So before you go to bed the night,
before you close your eyes, say is solent prayer for
the repose of the soul of the eighty one or
eighty two people that have been killed in those terrible

(01:53:34):
floods in Central Texas. It appears likely the death toll
is going to raise itself well past one hundred, and
we hope somehow the parents can find peace and the
passing of their children. But all I can say is,
Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee
blessed Arthelle amongst the women, and blessed is the fruit

(01:53:54):
of our momb Jesus, Holy Marry Mother God. Pray for
our sinners now they are of our death. Amen, go
cunning in with you every Sunday night.
