Cash Back to the Community Program
•Program is addition to our typical monetary donations and sponsorships and helps get the community and members involved. Was also a nice way to uncover new or smaller organizations in need of support.

•The program is funded by the interchange income – 1% of our Visa credit and debit card interchange income is divided evenly among the three nonprofit/501(c)(3) organizations each quarter. The premise being, “the more members use our card(s), the more we give back.”
oEvery time you use your American Eagle debit or credit card, they give to a worthy organization in your community – one that you and other members choose. It’s cash back with impact.

•Winners are determined by majority of votes. Anyone can submit a nomination and vote.

•Organizations supported thus far are: children, families, seniors, art, nature, animals, whatever is important to you – putting cash where it belongs

•In 2020, during the pandemic the credit union donated over $85,000 through this program
