Cherokee Costa Rica Eco-Study Tour
August 22, 2015•26 min
Over the past 10 years, 192 students and chaperones from the Cherokee Indian Reservation and the region have participated in the Costa Rica Eco-Study Tour. The program is an ongoing partnership with the Cherokee Preservation Foundation, EARTH University and the EBCI Cooperative Extension. My guest is Tammy Jackson, the Costa Rica Eco-Study Tour coordinator. She helps bring the trip together and reaps the rewards of witnessing the impact this trip has on these students.
