We think the audio is abundantly clear. As Mo' pressed on Stone's proximity to the president being the chief factor in his commutation, Stone breaks from the conversation and mutters to a third party on his end, "I can't believe I'm arguing with this Negro."

At no point in this conversation does Mo' introduce race. And never has he referred to himself as 'Negro.' We wish Roger Stone well.
