Tyler can be seen this Spring starring in the new CBS spinoff series CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS, as Monty, a computer whiz who works with a division of the FBI that helps American citizens who find themselves in trouble abroad. In early 2015, Tyler guest-starred as Noah in AMC’s THE WALKING DEAD (TV’s number one show - continuously beat out Sunday Night Football in ratings). He recently shot a comedy sketch on KEY & PEELE where he played Steve Urkel. This sketch received rave reviews and was named the number 1 sketch of 2014 by NEW YORK MAGAZINE. On the big screen, Tyler starred as Lionel Higgins in the Sundance breakout film DEAR WHITE PEOPLE, a satire about being a black face in a very white place. He received critical acclaim at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival for the film, directed by Justin Simien (VARIETY’s “10 Directors to Watch”) and winner of a Special Jury Prize.
