Speaker 2 (00:18):
So you've made it through three hours of the regular
show on terrestrial radio, and.
Speaker 3 (00:22):
You wanted a little bit more.
Speaker 2 (00:23):
So that's why you found the gun Talk After Show
podcast where we saved all the best things that we
can't say on regular radio. Now here's Tom, Michelle and
Jim for the gun Talk after show, all right after
show time.
Speaker 4 (00:34):
Here we got Jim Cansey, Michelle Cleveland's with us, and
Jim missed his own fan club of one right here.
Speaker 5 (00:40):
I am on getting turned up on today by you guys.
Speaker 6 (00:44):
Yes you are. It's right.
Speaker 4 (00:45):
We were whooping up on him right before we opened
the mics. That was fun, actually tracked Michelle. I enjoyed
that part of the show. Accurately nobody gets to hear it.
Speaker 3 (00:54):
Little chits and accurate.
Speaker 5 (00:56):
Actually the duds were accurate.
Speaker 6 (00:58):
I'll take you that rout there. He's got on it.
Speaker 7 (01:01):
Man, there it is you want to you want to
dig on Fred?
Speaker 4 (01:07):
He seems like a nice guy, right, is that they
call that projection wow, which is better than projectile.
Speaker 6 (01:17):
Hey, thanks for having it in.
Speaker 8 (01:19):
There, man, absolutely, thanksfully for taking the call. Tom. Now
you talked about from the earliest show we were talking
about the you know, the anti gunners and the judge.
Part of that is the judicial system and how messed
up the judicial system is. And I think it actually
has a lot to do with all the all the
woes we're seeing what they call it gun violence, which
(01:41):
really is gun violence, is violence in general. But they
for the you know, they get their own little narrative
that they throw into it to juice it up for
their own for their own, for their own purposes. And
I think what we're seeing is we're seeing a lot
of these judicial judgments are actually creating a lot of
the problems that are exist. Thing that we see happening.
(02:01):
The reason one that the White House is this this
this crazy twenty one year old kid who sat there
in the east side of the you know, a gunfight
with the security forces over there at the White House.
A couple of weeks prior to that, he shows up
to the White House demanding that they arrest him because
and he claimed he claims to be Jesus Christ. It's like,
come on, there's something going on here. You know, these
(02:23):
people are not the judges aren't taking these sentencings seriously,
or the system in general hasn't taken these these situations
seriously enough to act when they have the opportunity to
act to prevent the things these situations from taking place,
and they do it deliberately. I think it's I think
it's a deliberate act. And I think they should be
a judicial review. When a judge passes on a well
(02:47):
known bad person, criminal, career criminal and put them back
on the street with no restrictions at all. I think
it's time that the judges should be answering that these
for these call for the judgments.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Let me ask you a question here. I agree with
everything you said, but I got a question. We probably
we don't we don't have the answer, but I'm just
curious of what your thoughts are. Why do you think
I mean, judges generally not stupid. There are some that are,
but most, for the most part, they're not stupid. They're
looking at this guy, and this guy's a real problem.
I mean, he's We're going to see him over and
(03:22):
over again. Why would they release him? What's going on here?
Speaker 8 (03:28):
I think I think that there's something to do. It's
politically politically motivated, politically driven, politically a narrative behind it
has to do with this whole I don't know if
it's I don't know if it's the the less progressive communists,
socialists whatever takeover the country, Damn the system, damn the constitution,
(03:49):
damn the Bill of Rights, and damned everything else. It
has to do with a takedown as to do with
Ian's call it a plot, but a reason why, you know,
these judgments keep coming down. I think that they're twisting
the arms that these judges saying, play with us, or
you know, we will we will bury you. I think
they're they're under the run of some type of restraint
(04:10):
constraint to play along or you know, be damned job security.
Speaker 4 (04:14):
And we know that a lot of the money for
some of these judges and especially the district attorneys is
coming from sorrows.
Speaker 8 (04:21):
Knowing the money is not that that's that's I think
that's the main I think that that's the main motivator
right there. There's so much doc money flying around, taxpayer money,
a lot of it, but nobody's even talking about that yet.
Speaker 4 (04:33):
Well, that's the interesting point we've learned about that taxpayer
money goes to an n g O that's supposed to
be is doing good work out there, non governmental organization,
and then it turns right around and feeds money back
into the liberal causes. And it's just a way for
the liberals to take money out of our pockets and
to use it to further their political power. And we're
(04:56):
finally starting to hear a little bit about that. The
doage folks from you on Musk uncovered a lot of it,
and then of course a lot of folks in DC
wanted that information to go away because they're all in
on it.
Speaker 8 (05:08):
Of course. Yeah, absolutely, I appreciate you. Appreciate your background
in aviation bringing up the you know, I was. I
was in aviation for pretty much my entire life. Since
it's silly seventeen years old. It flew commercially for thirty
eight years with a commuter airline, all in aircraft under
twelve five for thirty seven thousand hours.
Speaker 6 (05:29):
Wow, let me explain you.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
If people I don't know aircraft under twelve thousand, five
hundred pounds, there is a specific regulation that if they're
over that, you needed type rating, and if under that,
you don't need a type rating.
Speaker 6 (05:41):
So what what we find?
Speaker 8 (05:43):
Mostly mostly four H twos, that's the four ROH two
seeds nine passages at a time of the regional landline.
Speaker 6 (05:50):
Were you fought? Were you find Cape Air?
Speaker 8 (05:53):
I am k Cape Airy tiree? Yes?
Speaker 4 (05:56):
Yeah, okay, I'm thinking, all right, who do I know
who fights four H two? It's Cape Air is the
only outfit I knew that was flying Cape. And you're
going out to Nantucket and uh.
Speaker 8 (06:08):
In the Caribbean. They're out in the Citiure out in
the Chicago area. The DIN battered around the country, primarily
in the Cape Cape and islands, but they did cat
it all over the place.
Speaker 6 (06:19):
Isn't that something? Okay? Well congratulations? Yeah.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
And there definitely are correlations between the risk management assessment
that we do between firearms and aviation.
Speaker 6 (06:28):
I use it all the time.
Speaker 8 (06:30):
You put your you put your hands on the yolk
of an airplane, you pick up a firearm. You know
it's the same, respect same, You know this, it's exactly
the same. You know the same, respect, the same, you know,
the responsibility, it's all the same. You can't have one
without the other.
Speaker 4 (06:45):
There you go, Fred, thank you for the call. Very
interesting and appreciate it. Do you take care of my friend?
That was fun. That's uh yeah, yeah. Cape Air flies
to uh oh Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard and a lot of those.
Assessment four oh two is a big old twin engine
piston plane. Yeah, but it's it's not pressurized them and
because they're not flying very high.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Right over it's over ten thousand, you have to do that.
Speaker 4 (07:12):
Yeah, generally eight to ten thousand, you'd want to be pressurized.
And they're just doing these short hops of an hour
or less, so they're not going real high.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
He had me at Cayman Islands. I was pretty interested.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Yeah, but if you're find now that it's a different thing.
If you're going from New York to the Cayman Islands.
I think that's the different You know, if you go
United down to Miami and then.
Speaker 6 (07:32):
You get on Kpe air you go something like that.
Fun stuff. So so I am now a graduate of
two different schools over the last couple of weeks.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
YE talk to us.
Speaker 4 (07:46):
Well, you know, the gun Slight thing was great fun.
I'd taken the class before, and I honestly just kind
of wanted to see where my skill level was, because
you got to offen ask the question, how do you
know if you're any good?
Speaker 6 (07:57):
How do you know where you are?
Speaker 4 (07:59):
And so, you know, you go take the class and
figure out when you get your certificate.
Speaker 6 (08:03):
You get not exactly a grade, but you.
Speaker 4 (08:07):
Can get a certificate of achievement, which meant you took
the class what subtly says you probably need to come
back and take it, you know again, and with that
you cannot advance to the next class. Oh, Marksman is
the next level up, and if you get marksmen, then
you can advance to the next class.
Speaker 6 (08:27):
And Marksman one.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Is a great higher than that, and then the only
thing above that is expert. And they don't give those
out very often, maybe one a class and maybe one
every five or six classes. It's only if some they
instructors think somebody has earned it. In some classes don't
have anybody who makes expert. And it's not like a
(08:50):
particular score you have to shoot or anything. It's these
experience range masters watching you and saying, yeah, this person
qualifies as an expert. So I mean, I knew I
wasn't gonna make expert because I was rusties all get out,
but I was happy I made Marchman one.
Speaker 6 (09:06):
Which is the next level down.
Speaker 4 (09:08):
So they said, yeah, you can go on and take
the other classes. And then they said, but you know,
I'm not sure I would. It just was really interesting
how often they say the same thing. Just come back
and take that same class, tune it up, work on
your skills because there's only one set of skills. It's
not like you're trying to develop new skills with these
other classes.
Speaker 6 (09:29):
You know, we're going to.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Learn to shoot, load, draw, move, work through houses. They
have a dry wash area they call the Donga, and
you're walking through this dry wash out in Arizona with
little cuts here, and there were steel targets that as
you take the next step, a target will start to appear.
It's great because you'll see the top of the head.
(09:50):
But they say, if it's got red pants on, you
can't shoot it. That's a no shoot. So you have
to find a way to maneuver so you can see
the red paint at the bottom of the steel target.
It teaches you that not everything out there is something
that needs to be shot.
Speaker 5 (10:05):
Kind of like real life.
Speaker 4 (10:06):
Even uh yeah, it is very good training for real life.
Speaker 3 (10:12):
Can you use it in real life?
Speaker 6 (10:15):
Well, yeah, don't shoot the people in red pants.
Speaker 4 (10:17):
So the other lesson from that is we all should
be wearing red pants.
Speaker 3 (10:21):
Ye, more red pants at least it's not white.
Speaker 6 (10:27):
Yeah, that's rights exactly.
Speaker 5 (10:29):
I'm wearing pants at all this time because you know,
long time she.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Comes, Yes, thank you, Yeah, there he goes, you having
you know, hence.
Speaker 4 (10:38):
Off my Yeah, yes, he had his one beer of
the year. Actually, I think as you say, somebody slipped
you a beer, I mean you don't for people. No,
you don't drink at all, like nothing. No, I didn't,
like quite a while. And I had a dream I
didn't happen, but I had a dream that oh that's right.
Speaker 6 (10:57):
It was a dream.
Speaker 7 (10:57):
It's like it was I woke up going on man,
and it wasn't like, oh I have an alcohol issue
and I'm gonna wear It's like.
Speaker 5 (11:03):
I was on a roll. I don't want to screw
that up.
Speaker 6 (11:06):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (11:07):
It's having anything to drink for years, right, yeah, drink.
Speaker 5 (11:11):
I got up and had a drink. Of course, that's
what you're doing.
Speaker 6 (11:13):
Oh I hope, so yeah, that's right, just kidding.
Speaker 7 (11:18):
Yeah, because the problem won't be there when I problem
goes away when I drank right.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
So I made up some ribs yesterday and I don't
really have experience cooking ribs, and I didn't look up
a recipe. I just said I'm just gonna wing it,
and it turned out great. The first thing I did
was a pretty heavy layer of brown sugar, you start
start with that, and then a big heavy layer of pepper,
(11:46):
and then one of like a mixed it's a mix
of truffle and pepper, and that was good, and then
a kosher salt on top of that, and then a
real nice barbecue rub on top of that, a rib rub,
and then he throw it in the tragger smoker for
about three hours at two seventy five. I also threw
(12:09):
baked potatoes in there, baking potatoes, and then when I
pull the ribs out, I cranked it up to five
hundred on the potatoes and they came out with like
crispy skins.
Speaker 6 (12:19):
Eyes, great making.
Speaker 5 (12:22):
I'm gonna say, he's gonna have a really short after show.
Speaker 6 (12:24):
After break, he's gonna come back to the break and
we won't.
Speaker 9 (12:26):
Be here smacking our lips.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Licking our fingers.
Speaker 4 (12:33):
I hope pass out there cooking those ribs right now.
Not well, I have more ribs than Tomorrow is the
day off.
Speaker 6 (12:41):
So there you go.
Speaker 3 (12:42):
So short notice. I'll see what we can get for flights.
Speaker 4 (12:46):
Yeah, check into that. It sounds really absolutely yeah. All right,
let's take a break. We'll come back. We'll talk about
this intersection between flying in guns, or as we like
to say, turning money into noise. Put all your gear
(13:06):
on that you carry and then roll around on the ground. Now,
get up all your gear that's on the ground. That's
what you're not gonna have in a fight.
Speaker 1 (13:12):
Gun Talk should be in your podcast feed. Check out
gun Talk Nation. What's it like to be blown up?
Speaker 6 (13:18):
You know?
Speaker 9 (13:18):
If it's like C four, it's almost like a smack
hunting Yeah, we talked about that too.
Speaker 8 (13:24):
On your crosshairs, I like a thin crosshair.
Speaker 1 (13:27):
Ang, you're really dating yourself by calling things crosshairs.
Speaker 6 (13:30):
You're redical whatever.
Speaker 1 (13:32):
Have some fun and stay informed with the gun Talk podcast.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
All right, that couldn't here, Michelle. I'll send you the
picture of me back in the back country there.
Speaker 3 (13:46):
Yes, that was fun.
Speaker 9 (13:50):
I'm sure that's a class that you're very happy you took.
Speaker 6 (13:55):
It is.
Speaker 4 (13:55):
There's a very experienced backcountry pilot. In his classes is
for the year, will book up in about two hours.
Speaker 6 (14:04):
Wow.
Speaker 4 (14:04):
When he says, okay, I'm taking so And the great
part is his hangar is two doors down from my
hangar at the local airport. So, but I've been trying
for three years to get on the list to take
the class from him.
Speaker 3 (14:19):
Did you fly when you were in Alaska?
Speaker 6 (14:22):
That's where I learned to fly?
Speaker 4 (14:23):
Yeah, okay, I got my license when I was in
Alaska because, like God, it seems like a natural. I
got to do that here right in forty nineteen eighty four.
So I, however, long ago that forty three years ago, Yeah,
you figured how to do it.
Speaker 6 (14:40):
Time me at Orville, you know, orbal and Wilburn. They
were nice.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Hey, we know those guys are for a while.
Speaker 6 (14:46):
Yeah, that's sure, you.
Speaker 5 (14:47):
Do that's right, I'm strong all those other parts, right.
Speaker 4 (14:52):
Yeah, that's right. And anybody hasn't been there to go
to the right. Patterson Air Force Museum is a it's
a great air Force museum or airplane museum.
Speaker 6 (15:03):
Really. They do a good job there.
Speaker 9 (15:06):
They do a good job and in the area has
grown up a lot around all of the the expressway
system and stuff. It's gotten a lot nicer. Cincinnati is
still kind of a crunch, but but Dayton is better.
Speaker 6 (15:21):
Okay, all right, you shouldn't be.
Speaker 5 (15:25):
Dating, you're married.
Speaker 3 (15:26):
Well, yeah, thanks, that's right.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
Then get the air plugs out of your ears there, dude,
you know he's got shooting buffs?
Speaker 6 (15:35):
What? Yeah? Yeah.
Speaker 9 (15:38):
So you say all the time that planes are just
like the firearms. Have you learned anything new in this
class that would follow that up or make that more
realistic for you?
Speaker 6 (15:52):
Kind of?
Speaker 4 (15:55):
I wasn't getting everything out of my plane that was there.
I was used a perfectly safe technique for takeoff, but
it was I was taking too long to get the
plane off the runway. And the instructor showed me a way.
If he calls it, just pop it off and you
(16:17):
get to a point where normally it'd be like twenty
knots slower than you normally would take off. He said,
just pop that yoke back and you jump right off
the ground and then you fly it in ground effect.
You're basically flying it three feet off the ground. Gotcha,
And so I was able to knock about three hundred
feet off the takeoff roll, which.
Speaker 5 (16:36):
Is a lot. That was your rolling resistance, right, yes.
Speaker 4 (16:40):
I mean once you get off the ground, you're just
flying in the ground effect. You don't have the rolling resistance.
And some of these airstrips are going into our twelve
hundred feet they're not real long.
Speaker 9 (16:48):
That's I say you have shorter fields, yeah, much, but shortly.
Speaker 4 (16:53):
Your typical airline feel would be ten to fifteen thousand
feet long, and this is just a little over one
thousand feet, So there's there's short so and then sometimes
I'll have like they're one way in, one way out,
so it's like you're once you commit, And that was
one thing maybe we could draw a parallel there is
(17:14):
that when you're flying, there's a certain point in doing
the approach to an airstrip. Some of these airstrips where okay,
there's your boart point. You can abort here, and there's
where you're going to go. If you fly any further
than that, you are committed to land period regardless if
anything goes wrong, you're still landing. If a deer comes
(17:35):
out on the runway, you're still landing. Because if you
put the power on, all you're going to do is
fly into that mountain. That's right behind the end of
the runway you have to land right, So in terms
of pick your place, try to avoid it. You know,
you got an aboard point, and but when it's time,
you have to commit fully to it. And I thought
(17:57):
that's an interesting parallel. I think you can draw some
parallel else. Good stuff. Yeah, he said, Okay, people talk about,
you know, when you hit the go button or the
mean gene, or when it's time to do the violent act,
do it just commit half way to the thing at.
Speaker 7 (18:15):
All, which I can I can definitely see happen because
in a self defense shooting, nobody I know, I should say,
wants to shoot anybody, right, so I could see it,
you know, hesitation there or you know, well maybe I'll
just try to wound them, and you know, into second
guessing yourself once you.
Speaker 9 (18:32):
Commit, you got to go, or even the matter of
just drawing you know, am I am I going? You
sit there and you head state like back and forth,
kind of back and forth, and yeah, the whole mind. Well,
it's some more of that, I guess, some more of
that what if stuff that we talk about all the time, right, Like,
(18:53):
I know, this is what I have to do now,
and I've never even thought about the animals coming onto
the landing street up.
Speaker 3 (19:00):
That's a whole different thing.
Speaker 4 (19:02):
Oh yeah, we had one one landing where it's funny
because Fred's instructor, he says, yeah, he says, this is
the only airstrip where I've had animals several times on
the airstrip, and you do a procedure where you fly
over you orbit it to take a look at it,
because obviously there's no control tower or anything like that.
These are gravel strips or dirt strips out in the
middle of nowhere. And we flew over, didn't see anything.
(19:24):
And then you have to drop down into a canyon
and you're flying along the river. You can't see the
airstrip at all. Then you make a ninety degree turn,
sharp turn on the river and you come out right
in front of the runway. That oop there it is.
And he looks. He says, there's animals on the runway.
And I'm looking, and I'm looking, but huh, there's three
deer right there on the runway. So just add little power,
(19:47):
pick it back up, go over the top of the deer,
and come back down and land on the other side
of them.
Speaker 5 (19:52):
Really go around or something.
Speaker 4 (19:54):
Yeah, No, there was a If it was real short,
I would have, but in this case there were enough
runway that I knew I was okay landing.
Speaker 6 (20:02):
That's cool.
Speaker 4 (20:03):
So we had like twenty five out of feet on
that one, which in this case it's pretty long for you.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:08):
Yeah, so but it's like we just hop over those
deer and come back down land sweet. It's got fun.
And they took off running of course as you go
over them.
Speaker 3 (20:15):
Sure. Right.
Speaker 9 (20:16):
Have you ever done any kind of water landing or
I mean like in Alaska the glacier landing or anything
like that.
Speaker 4 (20:24):
Yeah, I have a floatplane rating, so I have you
trained in floatplanes and flowing them? And it's uh starry
fuddy with people, you know, and I don't own a floatplane.
And people sometimes we'll say, you know, can you land
this plane on the water? Say yeah, once.
Speaker 3 (20:40):
Then it's like the Titanic.
Speaker 6 (20:42):
Yeah, it's like that. It's a submarine.
Speaker 8 (20:45):
Right.
Speaker 5 (20:45):
So, and that's a good thing about floatplane time. You
don't have to worry about that many deer coming on
the runway. Well, it's true, they swim, swimmer.
Speaker 6 (20:53):
You know what you have to watch out for jet skis.
Speaker 5 (20:57):
I've said watercraft.
Speaker 6 (20:58):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
Yeah, and for some weird reason on some places, the
jet skiers think it's really fun to run alongside a plane,
a floatplane that's taking off. Well, when you're taking off
in a floatplane, you put the power on, the first
thing that happens is the nose goes way up.
Speaker 6 (21:16):
You can't see in front of you.
Speaker 4 (21:18):
Yeah, and you know, these youngsters love to cut in
front of you. It's like and cut would be a
really appropriate use as I'm swinging this huge meat cleaver
out there.
Speaker 5 (21:32):
It's slices and dices, it makes Julian fries.
Speaker 4 (21:35):
Yes, they would do all of that and then some
So yeah, I got a two hundred and eighty five
horse power meat cleaver. So yeah, you got to watch out.
You really got to watch out for the jet skiers.
The boats not so much. They're not as insane as
some of the jet skiers. So you know, there's everything's
got its hazards. You know, public ranges as we know.
Speaker 9 (21:57):
Right, it's always those people that are seeking content for
their Instagram.
Speaker 6 (22:02):
Oh my heavenly, wats how close I can get to
this product?
Speaker 8 (22:06):
Right?
Speaker 9 (22:07):
Oh well, they we see the same thing though on
the daily news. If you pay attention to the daily news,
the amount of videoing of people being beaten up or course.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (22:20):
Yeah, yeah, you were talking, Jim before it came on
about the takeover stuff, which were they're going to basically
occupy a building or an area or whatever.
Speaker 7 (22:28):
Yeah, they just they just get online and say, okay,
we're going to meet at two o'clock at the walmart here,
and we're you know, well getting tacked. So I mean
it's organized, but loosely organized, right, and then just a
bunch of punks are showing up to you know, get silly,
steal stuff, beat up people, do whatever they want, and
knowing that there's so many of them, Yeah, oh yeah,
that's I'm saying, they'll get violent, and there's so many
(22:48):
of them, they know they're going to get away with it, right.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
Well, they do until the first one gets shot.
Speaker 5 (22:53):
Yeah, we're traveling done.
Speaker 4 (22:55):
Typically speaking, When the first one gets shot, the rest
of them run away. And I'm not saying shooting somebody
for take doing a takeover or for stealing, but if
they've become violent, you know, if they start beating on
an old lady or pick up something to hit you
with it.
Speaker 6 (23:12):
Oh no, no, no, all bets are off. We have
hit the go button.
Speaker 7 (23:16):
Now we are committed, and sadly that's going to have
to happen a couple of times before these these ye.
Speaker 4 (23:22):
But all about to say, in listening to this, you
need to have it in your mind of Okay, we're
going to try to get away from your use the
family code word. We're going to try to get out
the back and get away from this stuff. But if
they come at you and they're going to try to
hurt you, then fully commit. You're not talking to them,
you're not trying to get them to stop. You simply
(23:44):
have to do what you got to do. And more
than like you, that's going to be shooting them.
Speaker 7 (23:50):
And he's an occupational hazard of their self chosen career.
Speaker 4 (23:54):
And unfortunately this is not like saying, well you went
to a bad part of town or you went to
a festival where you know there's a problem.
Speaker 7 (23:59):
No, this thing came to you and it's everywhere. It's
not just okay, we're getting all these stores. It's stores,
it's amusement parks.
Speaker 9 (24:06):
It's well, how many times you hear somebody say, well
I carry there because you know I'm not from there,
and I'm scared in that area.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
Well, that area is everywhere.
Speaker 6 (24:17):
Yes, it will, it can come to you.
Speaker 5 (24:20):
Yes.
Speaker 4 (24:21):
And the other thing is that you got crazy. Is
like this guy at the White House a couple of
days ago. You know, he decides to shoot up a
secret service guard station. Really and he had done something similar,
I mean obviously mentally off well middle meddlely off is
in every neighborhood in every town.
Speaker 6 (24:43):
Yeah, and you.
Speaker 4 (24:45):
Think a lot other people say, well, why would no stop?
There is no why, there's no why would he pick
on me? Why would he do that to me? I've
never done there is none of that.
Speaker 5 (24:55):
But you can't shoot him. He's mentally ill.
Speaker 6 (24:58):
Oh watch me.
Speaker 5 (25:00):
I want to go home.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
You come at me with a great big board or
a knife or something like or screwdriver.
Speaker 5 (25:07):
People forget, you don't do it.
Speaker 7 (25:09):
You don't do it on the spots cycle analysis of
the patient and I do.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
Actually it just goes really really fast. You know, it's like, uh,
he wants.
Speaker 6 (25:22):
To hurt me.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
I don't want him to hurt me. We have now
reached the end of this analysis. So speaking of that,
I saw a lovely meme which I liked. Is a
man and his wife a therapy session, and the therapist says,
she's upset because you never buy her guns, and the
(25:43):
husband says, I didn't even know she sold guns.
Speaker 6 (25:56):
To spin off.
Speaker 7 (25:57):
That's a little bit spin off. On the other one,
a gun for my wife. That's one hell of a trade.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Is able to manage to keep the dog in the deal.
Speaker 6 (26:09):
There you go. The dog was the tough negotiation though,
you know.
Speaker 7 (26:15):
Okay, so ribs, let's get back to the important stuff
your times.
Speaker 6 (26:19):
Yes, well, we liked the ribs.
Speaker 9 (26:23):
And really let's get to the real important part that
allows us to be united as we're supposed to be,
which is.
Speaker 3 (26:29):
The Memorial Day observants that we're coming up on.
Speaker 9 (26:33):
Yep, just you know, had right all the sacrifices by
service members throughout our history now.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
And the thing is, it's not that they may said
I'm volunteering to go get killed. That's but they volunteered
knowing that that could happen, and they put themselves in
that place. And it's a difference of saying I'm going
it's not suicidal at all. It's just that I am
going to go volunteer to help my country, to fight,
(27:05):
to support my teammates a lot of times, that's as
much as anything. It's you know, I'm there with your
brother and the people and my brothers exactly. And but
they were willing, and I guess that's really what we're
talking about, is they were willing to.
Speaker 5 (27:23):
Do that and set any well.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Yeah, and people who don't have cones either or out
there doing it, Michelle, And as the mother and wife
of people who served, that's got to be tough knowing
that you know your loved one has volunteered to go
do that, right.
Speaker 9 (27:44):
That's always a risk, but it is because they love
the liberty and freedoms that have come before us, and
unfortunately is blood on many of the grass areas in
our country. So you know, it's important to sit back
and remer what was given, where we are, maybe reflect
(28:04):
on where we want to be and how united we should.
Speaker 5 (28:07):
Become again and the cost of all of it.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
Yeah, yeah, for sure.
Speaker 9 (28:11):
So when you go and I don't know how many
people have had the ability to go to DC, but
when you go and you walk past these walls or
some of the different memorials that are set up, it's
some of them are really they hit you hard, as
they say they do, and.
Speaker 4 (28:29):
It surprised you. Sometimes it's like I didn't see it coming.
It's just all of a sudden, you go, oh wow,
I'm overwhelmed.
Speaker 9 (28:35):
Yes, absolutely, So, you know, they are paying more tribute
to the women.
Speaker 3 (28:41):
And there's a lot, there's a lot of women in
history that have you know, played really important roles.
Speaker 9 (28:49):
And then obviously now they serve next to the men
for a lot of it.
Speaker 3 (28:54):
It's it's you know, it's come a long way.
Speaker 9 (28:56):
But yeah, to everybody who has been out there and serve,
this is this is the day to remember what they
gave us, what they.
Speaker 1 (29:06):
Unfortunately everything.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Yeah, they gave.
Speaker 4 (29:08):
Us everything, right, everything they had, everything they will have
ever would have had.
Speaker 3 (29:12):
Yeah, And well there.
Speaker 7 (29:13):
It is so their families really, I mean their families.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
Yeah, that's the thing.
Speaker 9 (29:19):
I was just going to say to any person out
there that has any kind of family member in the military,
we're all in it, you know, when you have one
person there, you're all in it.
Speaker 6 (29:29):
Ye.
Speaker 4 (29:31):
So, And I will leave you with this thought which
is completely off of that, but I'm thinking back to
your takeover thing and just I'm thinking, here, Jim, a
pepper ball machine gun, gatling gun, a gatling gun, firing gun,
pepper and pepper balls those that pop, and now you
got pepper spray and you can just you know, because
(29:52):
you got several hundred people here and they all are deserving,
they all at least deserve one DOS and.
Speaker 5 (29:58):
Just it's not lethal. So yeah, it's non.
Speaker 4 (30:02):
Lethal, and you know, basically doing an area of suppression
deal with pepper spray. But I just kind of like
the whole idea of the pepper ball machine gun. I've
just come up with that.
Speaker 5 (30:11):
Do you like that I've worked on that.
Speaker 6 (30:13):
They're probably is one already. I'm sure they have that,
don't you know?
Speaker 3 (30:17):
If not, you know people in the street town.
Speaker 6 (30:20):
Oh, you know what we can go like early early
we can go pepper ball.
Speaker 9 (30:25):
Slingshots, very primitive, very very primitive.
Speaker 6 (30:30):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (30:32):
We can go to the early primitive season for that, right,
primitive weapons seasons.
Speaker 6 (30:38):
I'm kind of liking this whole thing.
Speaker 9 (30:39):
Imagine how many people have the little daisies hanging out their.
Speaker 3 (30:42):
Back pockets and whip them out, and.
Speaker 4 (30:47):
Then of course there's always somebody who wants to have
a trabuche academy.
Speaker 6 (30:51):
We are right with a fifty pounds pepper ball.
Speaker 5 (30:55):
Why do I see nothing but money, Python movies.
Speaker 4 (30:58):
Yeah, yeah, that's exactly right, exactly well, you guys, enjoy
your ribs and obviously remember why we are remembering.
Speaker 6 (31:07):
Because, as you said, some gave all.
Speaker 8 (31:10):
Ye, so there it is, and have a good week guys,
you too, Thanks.
Speaker 2 (31:15):
We'll catch you next time for the gun talk after show.
