(01:13):
the program. Alex Real Quick. We were talking about the
Alan Thick about the TV themes.

Speaker 4 (01:20):
You got him right?

Speaker 2 (01:21):
Oh yeah, So I had a list of a bunch
of Alan Thick, Yeah, Robin big Daddy, Robin thig Daddy
and songwriters, et cetera.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
So so he's done what you say, it was just
real quick. He's got a handful of him right, He did.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
Forty alex is forty forty different ones that he's either
been a part of what I written or been there
for recording. It's insane. Let me get the list. Well,
that's so yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
That's where Robin Think obviously got is his skill set
from from Daddy Daddy out there singing and writing hooks
back in the seventies, eighties and nineties.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
And now you got his son somebout you know.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
You know what's funny is that there's a line on
The Golden Girls where Blanche is saying something, Rose is
saying that something was unbelievable. I can't believe it, and
Dorothy says, I don't believe that Alan Think has a
hit TV show.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
What he does like that was a love that could
throw away live. That's funny. He got sniped on her.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
So he probably wrote the half of the theme song
I bet you that's probably what I knew him.

Speaker 2 (02:14):
So there's a couple other artists involved in this too.
But what do you guys think are the top ten
of all of these different theme songs that have been listed,
voted on, and are with exactly I'm thinking a couple others,
I'll say too, what do you think the top ten
theme songs have been from seventies and eighties? So so
Golden Girls?

Speaker 4 (02:31):
No, he didn't do that one. You're saying only that
he did.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
Yeah, well, this is a mixture. He's a part of
some of these, right, These are the top ten that
he's either been around.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Bold in All you Do, Growing Pains? Yeah, okay? Did
he do family Ties?

Speaker 2 (02:47):
Oh? Pending? Hold on? Okay, I think.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
He also did different strokes.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
So okay, is he on that event strokes? Dude?

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Well, let me think what else Allen think might have
did from that era? Facts of life? Let me see, okay,
facts of life could be another one. You take the good,
you take the bad? What else was popular back then?

Speaker 5 (03:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
Well?

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Kay w cr KRP. I mean I can see that's
got to buy to it, that's got a bot to it.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Are you sure, Alex he was involved in that he's
googling on that, are you right? Well, why he's looking
up that?

Speaker 2 (03:17):
Anything else? You need to do a read or anything?
Check us out on YouTube.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Already said that's right, I did that? Well good, all right, Well,
why are we looking that up? Yeah? We got definitely
news from the NBA.

Speaker 3 (03:25):
We've kind of touched on a little bit earlier, but
now we're going to really get into it.

Speaker 2 (03:29):
Yeah, that's right.

Speaker 4 (03:30):
Dollar, dame, dollar, dame time.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (03:33):
Damian Lillard is back with the Portland Trailblazers, and of
course that was some breaking news today. He is gonna
do it a three year, forty two million dollar deal
that includes a twenty twenty seven twenty eight player option
and then here's the key part to rob a no
trade clause, so he'll be one of the few guys
who have that. Bradley beal Lebron and now he and

(03:54):
Lillard plans to rehab. Of course, is touring Left Achilles.
You know, he did that h late part of the
season with the Bucks, and he's gonna do that for
the entire upcoming season before getting back on the twenty
twenty six twenty twenty seven teams.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
So he chucked.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
The deuces to Milwaukee, and now here we are, he's
gonna be getting a bunch of money, about seventy million dollars,
because you remember, Milwaukee owes him fifty something I think
fifty two, and then they're gonna fill in the blank
Portland and he's gonna be about seventy million dollars he's
gonna make. So he's back. He's bike, as they say
down in Florida, He's bike.

Speaker 4 (04:28):
I would not.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
Welcome back Damian Lillard if I was a Portland Trail
Blazers fan he didn't want to be there. The jersey
that I threw away or gave to the Salvation Army,
I wouldn't go back and try to get it back.
I wouldn't pull it out of the addict and put
it on now and feel good that Damian Lillard's back.

Speaker 4 (04:48):
Hello, Portland, is this on? He's using you?

Speaker 3 (04:53):
He didn't really want to be there, you know what.
He got kicked to the curb by the Milwaukee Bucks.
So now he's sli king back home where he feels
comfortable and wait, probably still has a house, and let
me play out the string. We're not gonna win anything here.
He was so hell bent on getting out of there

(05:14):
so that he can have a chance to win. What
happened to that dream? Why didn't he wait? Right, he's
not playing this.

Speaker 4 (05:20):
Year, right, or most of the year next year, the
whole year he not playing?

Speaker 3 (05:24):
Why didn't he wait to go to hook up with
a team okay that has a chance to win? Because
I thought that was the goal when he went to
Milwaukee to play with Gianna's.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
But apparently not. And apparently he's just about comfort.

Speaker 3 (05:44):
He looks at Portland as a comfort food like mac
and cheese or something.

Speaker 4 (05:49):
Let me get a blank blankie.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
And let me get some mac and cheese, and let
me show up to back to Portland and not be
looked upon for anything. I could just play out the string,
make my millions and everybody will will will look at
me as a hero because I came back and I'm
the favorite son.

Speaker 4 (06:11):
And how great? What ad reunion out? Great?

Speaker 3 (06:13):
This is sorry, I'm divorced. I'm not remarrying my wife.
He divorced Portland. They shouldn't welcome him back. It's just
that simple. Well, let me tell you what it is.
Rob as Well, Number zero is about to get his
number back. He's about to get his jersey back.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Number zero is back, and Damian Lillar can officially say
he's getting zero rings. Rob, He's gonna get the zero
jersey back. He's about to get zero rings. I think
what happened was Damian Lillar realized the grass wasn't always greener.
He wanted to get out of there, justifiably so in
the sense that they hadn't really paired him with anybody.
Had LaMarcus Soldiers for you know, some years that didn't

(06:57):
quite work out and really getting past the second round
of the playoff, and he wanted to go somewhere else
where he could play with somebody and between injuries and
it's just not playing well together. Him and Giannis didn't work.
And I think what's happened is, by the way, he
did have some contenders. There were a few their reports
are there were a handful of teams that were interested
in him, Boston being one where Jason Tatum had been
flirting and saying we would love to get him there

(07:18):
in being town. But obviously that's not gonna happen now.
And I think what you saw happen is Jay Damian
Lillard is proud of himself on being a town business
kind of guy. If you know what that is, that's
Oakland town business, they call themselves. He's a loyal to
the soil kind of guy, and I think that's what
he was. Many people were mad at him. He should
have left three years, four years, five years earlier in Portland.

Speaker 2 (07:37):
What are you doing.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
You're giving so much time there not being able to
accomplish anything. You're great, You're a top seventy five player
and you're not doing anything. Some people thought he was
too loyal, and I think what ultimately happened was Damian
Lillard realized, even if I go out and I never
win something, at least I want to go out my way.

Speaker 4 (07:52):
At least I want to do it my way. I'm
not gonna go chasing rings.

Speaker 1 (07:55):
I'm not gonna go to this team for a year,
this team for a year, that team for a year,
go out like shack towards it in with Shaq has
seven different jerseys. At the end, I think he said, no,
I'm a stand on the business, stand on who I am.
Go back home where his family is, where his friends are,
where obviously his comfort and help be a part of
the rebuild for Portland. We know they're not about to win.
That's why I said he's about to get the zero

(08:16):
jersey back with zero rings. But he can be a
part of the rebuild. He can be back part of
the community. Obviously make some good money too, And I
think that's what's happening Damian Lillard.

Speaker 4 (08:25):
I think he absolutely.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Wants to go back to what he knows and more importantly,
his ethos, his ideology, his way of doing it.

Speaker 2 (08:32):
My way.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
I'm not like everybody else. I'm loyal to the soil
and that's what you get now. So he's getting ready
to go home, and that'll be that he'll be the
big brother to some of these guys, Scoop Henders, Scoop Henderson,
He'll be a big brother to some of these young
guys they've got. He's gonna be kind of a part
of the rebuild, help out the coaching staff and show
them what professionalism looks like and hope they get it
right in the next couple of years and he can

(08:53):
maybe be a part of a team that's better. But
obviously they're not going anywhere. We know how Stack he
walked out on them, and that's what I'm saying. I
think he gave the show and he said, at the
end of the day, you know what, that wasn't me.
I'm a loyal to the soil, probably the fault guy,
and let me go back where it is and just
finish up here.

Speaker 4 (09:09):
And I was about to do it and make a
bunch of money. So you welcome people back who walk
out of your life. I'm just asking you personally. I'm
dead serious with I say. I tell you this because
I'm not doing.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Have a falling out where you both realize we're better together,
and that doesn't have to be romantic. It can be
friends where you realize, Man, that was petty. We beefed
over a couple of dollars, or we beefed over I
yelled at you at the you know, at this or
at the basketball court or whatever.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
You know what.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
That was childish, you know, and let's get back together.
Happened with my best friend.

Speaker 6 (09:35):
Man.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
We had a little moment and we both came back
together and was like, yo, Man, we'll be doing And
we've been locked in ever since. Man, I'm his godfather,
his kids, he's godfather to my kids, best man at weddings.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
That's my brother, full life opposite. I'm exactly. You like
to do that. You do me. You're dead to me,
You're dead. That's ridiculous. Jami A. Lillard would be dead
to me. I'm dead.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Serious.

Speaker 4 (09:58):
So wait, Rob Parker, you're perfect. I'm not perfect. So
there's somebody right now you don't even know. Watch this rock.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
You don't know. There's somebody who is like, man, Rob's
dead to me. But after some time and after they said,
you know what, man, Robb's my man one hundred grand.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
You know I could be dead to them. Trust me, okay,
shake called stephen A.

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Smith? What No, call Stephen Smith right now.

Speaker 4 (10:19):
I guarantee you. You ticked him off to stephen A.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
And he was you were dead to him for a
couple of months a year, and he was like, man,
Rob's on man whatever you know, he got past it.
Don't act like you over here, perfect, somebody said Rob Parker.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
Martin White said that.

Speaker 1 (10:31):
Martin White said, man, I'm sick of UK dropped me crazy.
I'm done with and ain't. At the time, he was like,
you know what, man, that's he just.

Speaker 7 (10:38):
Been doing a Rob Parker imitation in case field my audience, dea.

Speaker 4 (10:42):
No.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
My point is, once you decide like the album always
felt like this, if I got to convince you of
the friendship or convince you to be romantically you know,
interested in me, Like it's done, I'm done. Can I
throw a copyat It's done? And I'm saying I don't.
I'm not gonna make a stink If me and you

(11:05):
are not on the same page or whatever, I'm just
gonna leave you be. I'm not gonna tell you I'm
not going to bother you. Do you understand what I'm saying?
Like it ain't that I'm not gonna be confrontational and say.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
You're dead to me. I'll never call you again. I'll
never Just when I call your text you don't text
me back, did you?

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Guys?

Speaker 1 (11:23):
Just when I call you and call me back. If
I see you a public and not going for the
bro hub us or shake my hand.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
I'll be like, Yo, what up?

Speaker 2 (11:29):
All right now?

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Stephen A said to me, the thing that I love
and admire the most about you is that.

Speaker 4 (11:35):
No one knows who you don't like.

Speaker 1 (11:37):
See I don't like that because now I'm sitting here
next to him Mark, I don't know if we're good
or not. Oh we could or just at the check
you're collecting checks right now doing a show with me.

Speaker 4 (11:46):
Dang now, you like you thought you'd been cool with
him seven years.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
He just needs you for you know how I get down,
Alex And I'm just I'm a lawyer.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
If you're loyal to me, I'm loyal to.

Speaker 1 (11:58):
Here's here's I am, and here's my I am. No
I know, but here's my copy for you. The only
thing you're missing in this equation. I get what you're saying,
I truly do. The thing you're missing is I think
you in this case being the Portland Trailblazers would say,
but dang it, I wasn't right to dame either or
the girl or your friend. In this case, I wasn't right.
I didn't get in the best players, we didn't commit.

(12:20):
He was here through thinking things. So what is he coming?

Speaker 4 (12:24):
Did this because you and I realized we were better together? No,
they're not. He's not coming faciliation.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
He's not coming back to win a championship for Portland
because he felt like I made a mistake and I'm
gonna come here and win a championship.

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Ain't winning.

Speaker 3 (12:39):
He's coming back because this is comfortable and easy for him.

Speaker 1 (12:44):
Is about to be terrible. No, No, I'm about to
add to a horrible team. It's win twenty five.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
Things because I guarantee you s to as a house
there and it's just it's a lot easier. And that's
the life, and that's why he's not waiting to re
have and wait for us. So you got a stomach
ailment and you didn't even bite this him.

Speaker 1 (13:00):
No, that's all this coke IM drinking over here. But
you get my what the sponsorship be the coke? No,
I'm not saying Nick Saban, all right.

Speaker 4 (13:07):

(13:29):
he called, I would not have picked up.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
I don't what don't call here?

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Now.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
It's just like you know that you walk out on
your girl, you go with the other girl, you realize
she ain't all that ain't like yeah, now, Rob, you
know you got back with somebody.

Speaker 1 (13:43):
No, I don't do it you lucky? This ain't love
dating show. I would call all your exes right now. Hello, Charrell,

Speaker 1 (13:53):
Charrell, I'm sitting here with Rob. He's he lying on
the air right now. Rob, you know we got back
together for six nins. No, this dang rib.

Speaker 2 (14:02):

Speaker 4 (15:26):
What you got the same sheet?

Speaker 2 (15:28):
Yeah? But radio radio activity or radioactivity? Yeah, radioactivity.

Speaker 4 (15:33):
Plavicto.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
Pla victo involves contact with radioactivity, which may cause the
risk for cancer and cause fetal harm. Okay, you've got
to drink plenty of fluids urinate. Often use contraception and
talk to your doctor about how the and talk to

(15:58):
your doctor about how to reduce the risk of exposing
others to radiation during and after treatment. One more time,
one more time. You've got to drink plenty of fluids urinate.
Often use contraception, and talk to your doctor about how
to reduce the risk of exposing others to radiation during

Speaker 4 (19:00):
We got TYXA tower trivia.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Right now, we're taking calls about Damian Lillard going back
to Portland. Rob said, it ain't. I ain't answering that call.
If you're Portland. I say, he's going back to number
zero to Jersey. He's about to get zero rings too.
Guess he wanted a ringless career, but he's going back
Home eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox Who we.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
Got Harris in Columbus. You're on the couple of Fox
Sports Radio. What's up, Harris?

Speaker 7 (19:21):
Hey, how you doing?

Speaker 5 (19:22):
Man?

Speaker 7 (19:22):
First time calling. I love you guys, show you guys
have great chemistry.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Man, Man, I appreciate it, Harris, appreciate it. Thank you.

Speaker 7 (19:29):
Yes, I want to say this, Rob. I'm totally with you.

Speaker 5 (19:32):
Man.

Speaker 7 (19:32):
Damian Lillard was a good player. I wouldn't call him
a great player because every time they went hup against
step and Clay and them, his backcourt never come nowhere
near compared toon to that back court. But anyway, Damian
little was handsomely paid. Yeah, I don't feel like Portland
owed him anything, And to me, I would not let
him come back to play now he wanted to retire

(19:53):
as a Portland trail basis, that'd be fine, But to
play on the court again, No, I wouldn't do that.
Thank you for taking my call.

Speaker 4 (19:58):
No doubt, thank you. I appreciate y'all.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
No accountability you are, Harris the Portland Jodlers that I
do nothing.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
Michael in Portland, you're on the couple of Fox Sports. Ready,
what's that Michael?

Speaker 9 (20:10):
So here's what I gotta tell you, guys. I appreciate
the fact that y'all don't think Portland's going anywhere. For
the next one to three years. They're gonna be a
really good team. They were one of the better teams
last year in the West second half of the season. Damien.
There needs to be more players like Damien. He's not
a ring chaser. He's loyal. He never wanted to leave.
Everybody painted this picture that he wanted to leave. He

(20:32):
did not want to leave. He wanted them to try
to figure it out. He's a gamer, he's a good man,
and he wants to play hard every night. Now he's
not probably not going to be the same guy. And yeah,
he was never a great defender, but I love the
fact that he's somebody that cares about, you know, trying
to come back to what he set up.

Speaker 3 (20:51):
And Michael, Michael, you're being so soft and Damian Lillard
wants a safe and soft landing spot.

Speaker 4 (21:01):
I'm with you.

Speaker 3 (21:03):
He got kicked out of Milwaukee, Okay, that's why he
got kicked out, and here instead of going to try
to continue your pursuit of the ring and go somewhere else,
you know why no, thanks for the call, Thanks for the.

Speaker 1 (21:15):
Car, Rob, He didn't he feeling bad that he ever
left is what he's doing.

Speaker 4 (21:19):
He's like, I should have never left. That ain't me.
I let everybody trick me off my spot?

Speaker 1 (21:23):
Jay?

Speaker 4 (21:24):
In Los Angeles, you're on the couple of Fox Sports.
When now what's up?

Speaker 9 (21:28):
Jay?

Speaker 10 (21:29):
Hey, how y'all doing?

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Man?

Speaker 10 (21:31):
It's awesome, man, y'all have an awesome show. Thanks, hey, Man,
Ain't nothing wrong with him going back, Rob, Ain't nothing
wrong with him going back. He won't gonna win nothing
in Milwaukee. Might as well go back, man, and make
that relationship break. Somebody wants soft lanning. Let him have
a soft landing and just go on in and do
his Sam You could have.

Speaker 4 (21:49):
A soft landing, but not with me. I'm not doing it.
I'm not doing it.

Speaker 5 (21:53):
Jay.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
Jay, your wife walked out on you, and now she
went with the other guy and it ain't work out.
Now she want to come back where he's comfortable, and
she remembers what it used to feel like. That's the
that's and you're gonna open your arms and your door
and say, oh yeah, come on back now after you
didn't good, you tried the other dude. Right, No, Jay,
I'm not doing it.

Speaker 10 (22:13):
You you didn't have to fall out with your nephew
and you didn't went back.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Man's appreciate Hey, ja Ja, I love how Robbie acting like.

Speaker 4 (22:22):
He's some good mobster.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Yeah. Once you're dead to me, go swim with that
to me.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
Shut it up and stop it. Jay, he just don't
tell you you're dead to me.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
I just you're just like you.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Also, don't tell somebody when you came back, because they
never knew the ever dead to you. So when you can't,
you winning on both sides. If you don't tell me
I'm dead to you, you didn't will never know. But
also if you came back to me, I never know
you fell out. I see what you're doing.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
Andre in Massachusetts. You're on the couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up, Drake?

Speaker 9 (22:49):
Hey, how you doing?

Speaker 5 (22:50):
Thanks for taking a call. Listen. I see what you're saying.
Rob coming from New York, you know what I mean?
Like costin Nova, you know what I mean.

Speaker 2 (22:56):
You see what he's doing.

Speaker 10 (22:57):
There's no getting.

Speaker 5 (22:57):
Out of the family.

Speaker 10 (22:58):
I get all that.

Speaker 5 (23:00):
At the same time, you know what do we learn
from John Stacklimonia?

Speaker 9 (23:03):
Okay?

Speaker 5 (23:04):
If it makes dollars, then it makes sense. So I
think that's the through line here with him going back
to Portland. They do need a veteran, they need an
og they need.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Something you could go get somebody else.

Speaker 5 (23:15):
They need somebody to mentor these young lines that they
have coming up, coming up to Calvin's point, Portland is
something that's familiar to him. He likes his there, he's comfortably.
She saw he went out to see what the grass
was like on the other side, not as green, even
though at the end of the day he was trying
to get to Miami, so he never he was never
committed to Milwaukee. He was trying to get to Miami.
That didn't work out. Corona and pat Riley couldn't see

(23:37):
eye to eye.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
Andre.

Speaker 3 (23:38):
Let me tell you this, if Kelvin wants to go
do a show with Marcellus Wally and they want to
try to get back over here, I'm not welcoming him back,
you hear me.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
Yeah, And I don't think Kevin would have Calvin would
ever want to do that. And then I'm not sure
if it's apples to apples from the standpoint that Dame
didn't get to go to the destination of his choice
and then coming back to Portland. It's a win win
because the money, the money is where it makes sense
to draw to Portland. They're not gonna win this year,
but it instills hoping the franchise. Dame does get the
security with the no trade clause, so the end, the

(24:10):
fact that they're not. Alby said, he's not chasing the championships.
He's chasing that piece that security, that what that that
peace of mind, and so that's what he gets. And
then Portland gets, you.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
Know, as a great we've all seen that couple that
we say, man, they're just better off together. You know,
many movies are like that, Rob You're a sap you
love all heart heartfelt stuff.

Speaker 4 (24:29):
All those movies are like that too. We'll get one more. Yeah, uh, Kyle,
what was this?

Speaker 2 (24:34):
Here we go?

Speaker 4 (24:35):
You already got the glasses on right now? Which one
to say? Eric and Austin you're on the odd couple
of Fox Sports Radio?

Speaker 2 (24:44):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Are?

Speaker 10 (24:45):
What's up?

Speaker 9 (24:46):
Row?

Speaker 5 (24:47):
Are you guys?

Speaker 8 (24:47):
What up?

Speaker 4 (24:48):
How you.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Ro?

Speaker 11 (24:51):
I think you're missing two key points serious Tlvanardy alluded
to this one right, Portland wrong? And Dave, do we
not remember for years when it was asking him to
go get help. And remember they traded his partner in crime.
And see the mccallums, they didn't build around them. They
traded his partner in crime.

Speaker 9 (25:09):
Rob.

Speaker 11 (25:09):
There is nothing wrong with wanting to come back home.

Speaker 7 (25:12):
No, they wan't finishing. Hold on, hold on Rob, hold
on Rob.

Speaker 11 (25:15):
There's nothing wrong with him wanted to come back home.
I know he wanted to leave. Only reason he wanted
to leave was because Cortney didn't have a such a
direction a few years ago.

Speaker 4 (25:22):
They still don't have a sense of direction. What is
he coming back?

Speaker 11 (25:25):
See that's Rob, Rob, Rob, that's where you're wrong. They
got young gonna send his cooheaders.

Speaker 4 (25:32):
What are they doing in the Western Conference in the
next five years? They're going to the finals the next time.

Speaker 11 (25:37):
Let me finish Rob. They got Donovan Klingen, They got
Shanda Sharp. They still got Drew Holliday, who personally I
think they should trade in Minnesota, but we'll see if
they keep drawn and that's a plus for them. They
got Tomighti Kamari won the best three D defenders of
the league. They got Danny Agia who bought out getting
traded from Washington. They got a young squad now unlet
the last or like a few holls ago said they

(25:58):
finished it the second the season they did.

Speaker 4 (26:01):
Yeah, they thought it winning games once the season was over.
So there we are.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Eric. I appreciate you. You said they got to win
last night when it didn't.

Speaker 4 (26:08):
Matter, Yore. Yeah, they got a good thing out there.
I love Chauncey, but I'm not good.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
You're not feeling in love right now from you?

Speaker 1 (26:16):
All right, appreciate the cause everybody on the other side,
we got Tyson tywer trivia right now, Martin Weiss, it's
about to tell us was nice.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
Well, the conversation has not been very nice. Surrounding the
fact that nine times NBA alsar Damian Lillard is finalizing
a three year, forty two million dollars contract, Dame Dollard
turned to the Portland Trailblazers, deal expected to include a
player option at twenty seven, twenty eight.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
And no trade clause.

Speaker 6 (26:41):
Caitlyn Clark will miss the three point contest on All
Star Game in Indianapolis this weekend. Don't worry, just by
reports from the Odd Couple earlier today, the All.

Speaker 2 (26:48):
Star Game will still be held.

Speaker 6 (26:50):
It's just she sustained a groin injury versus the Sun
on Tuesday. Her statement said that she will be present
for the action. Clarkett team captain TJ. Watt becomes the
highest paid non quarterback and NFL history for the second
time in his career. He reached a three year, one
hundred and twenty three million dollar extension, including one hundred
and eight fully guaranteed. At signing forty one million dollar

(27:11):
average is the per year average. Also in the WNBA,
more than forty players gathered Thursday for a meeting with
the Women's National Players, Basketball Players Association and the lead
to discuss negotiations on the new CBA. It was the
largest in person player turnout in Union history.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
During CBA talks, the.

Speaker 6 (27:32):
First in person one lasted a few hours, ended with
no resolution. That's obviously a hot point of contentment. Major
League Baseball veteran first baseman rowty to Les took part
in a workout with the Texas Rangers with the expectation
he will join the team after the All Star break
and a home belonging to the Arizona diamondbackstar Kettle Marte
was burglarized during the Majors League Baseball All Star Break.

(27:55):
According to police say the investigation is ongoing.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
He's had a rough couple of days. He's cuttle, mart
damer fan. You hold at them.

Speaker 6 (28:02):
Yeah, I'm getting rejected and had a very emotional time.
But I'll do it for me, Alex. You ready, I'm
ready back to you guys all. I appreciate you. Martin,
have a great night.

Speaker 4 (28:14):
It is time now for Tysherts Tower of.

Speaker 8 (28:18):
Trivia and now no ladies and gentlemen, vegans and meat eaters,
kail chip lovers, ruffle hip lovers.

Speaker 4 (28:27):

Speaker 4 (28:39):

Speaker 12 (28:40):
I'll be filling in for Rob G today. Here we go,
Today's edition, Dame edition ty shirt. Are you ready to
prove that we hired you more just for your looks,
but for your sports knowledge as well. I know I
thought at first it was just the hair, and then
Rob came in here and said, Alex, you're so much more.

Speaker 2 (28:56):

You just hyped me up. So I'm right, Kevin, Rob Yes.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Ready, I'm ready to go. Shay, Absolutely, she's not here. No, no,

Speaker 4 (29:10):
The cheating might go even crazier now because he cheats
with Robs.

Speaker 9 (29:13):

Speaker 12 (29:13):
We're gonna start with an easy one, guys, so you
better not cheat on this one. This is the team
that just traded Dame Rob. Let's start with you.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
All right, here we go. I'm good, Rob, How are you?

Speaker 4 (29:28):

I'm saying it over right now? All right with your answer?

Speaker 8 (29:40):

Speaker 4 (29:40):
But is it the team or the city? Is what
I'm the team? The team? Okay? All right, Alex? How
are you?

Speaker 2 (29:47):
I'm good? Rob?

Speaker 4 (29:48):
All right, I'm not doing PLU. Victo, great though, Victo?
That all right? Here we go?

Speaker 2 (29:59):
Al Uh, come on, Robin, I'm a huge dame guy.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
Hike.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Okay, all right, Chara, crazy the charade? I'm crazy right now?
Your finger? This is crazy. I'm trying to loosen up.

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Hizy Well, when I go hiking, it's always on a trail.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
But that's not that's it. That's that's fair. But the
question was Shay, that wasn't the question.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
That wasn't the question. This is the team that just traded, Dame.

Speaker 4 (30:42):
Oh that just traded. Well, see, I don't have to
I will. I get I do get that.

Speaker 2 (30:46):

Speaker 2 (31:18):
Let's go to the second.

Speaker 4 (31:19):
I just don't know.

Speaker 13 (31:20):
I we're talking about the city or it was the
it was the team. I'll take responsibility for that one.
I'll take responsibility for the one. Look at me already
ruining the game. Yeah, Robbie's pissed.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
Robbie rolling around at the career. He's listening.

Speaker 1 (31:35):
Let me tell you somebody who don't get it, this
is the show. When he's Robby ain't thinking about a
thing right now. He doing hair, putting on right.

Speaker 12 (31:42):

and by the way, I'm glad you admitted it.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
You know what's wilder?

Speaker 1 (33:47):
You ate a chicken salad that expired yesterday, that flew
across the country. Then you doubled it up with some
green eggs and ham on the neck.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
You are a wild man.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
I'm all right, I'll be all right, Yeah, you will
be all right.

Speaker 2 (33:57):

rated before you ate it?

Speaker 4 (34:01):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (34:01):
I mean it wasn't my bag. It wasn't a long fly.
It was only four and a half hours on the
fly Boy. All right, all right, I don't even know
where we left off. This is the best and worst
Tysher Tower tribute.

Speaker 2 (34:12):
I think I did a pretty good job. Yeah, I
think I'm doing it good. Are we doing it? Are

Speaker 4 (34:16):
All right? All right? Dame Blank, Yes, here we go.

been because you're single out here.

Speaker 1 (35:12):
He was just said, he would have said you let's see,
all right, I know we're running out of time.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
He's gonna be a quick one, easy one.

Speaker 12 (35:25):

where he became known for his impressive scoring ability and
clutch performances.

Speaker 2 (35:31):
In close games, Dame Blank. I ain't gonna lie. I
don't even know this one. I said, you guys, the
Wi Fi be triving.

Speaker 3 (40:32):
Man?

Speaker 4 (40:32):
Of course I couple Robin Kelvin on the TV thing.

Speaker 1 (40:34):
So on Thursday, achy knee step back joints not cooperating,
bubble guts. Well, some days your body's just like no,
it added the new line in the script, is your
body's feeling like nah. Luckily there's a leave with just
one pill of lead provides up to twelve hours of
paying relief, so you can keep moving. Use as directed.
I do want to if they work with stomach issues

(40:55):
as well. All right, there you have it, man. It's
pretty much a wrap on that thing you want to
touch on before we get out of here, that we hit,
you know, dame going back, which you had a problem
with that to me, Damn right.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
Josh Allen was talking about Hard Knocks. I guess they're
gonna be Salen on Hard Knocks yet Buffalo and whatnot.

Speaker 1 (41:12):
Which is actually, by the way, it has been cool
that Hard Knocks is starting to get some teams that
are actually good or competitive or like you actually can
be invested in because you know had been the worst.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
You remember the rules were like, oh, if you're one
of the worst.

Speaker 1 (41:24):
Teams and you hadn't been on blah blah blah, then
you're gonna be on it. So I like the fact
that we actually get some teams that can be competitive
and that you actually believe, oh, they might actually have
a chance to win something, because because while I enjoyed it,
it's a whole different surprise, I mean, a different show
when it's a bunch of bums and you can to
hang on the one dude who the heartfelt story ends

(41:45):
up getting cut.

Speaker 4 (41:47):
That's true, But they're.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
Not going to be a distraction, he says, those cameras
in there, which they don't become a distraction to me
as much as people they make a star of, like
a third string, four string people who.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
Played to the cameras. It's like the reality show. Like
people act like, oh, we're on a show called Bridezilla.
I'm gonna be nice to the woman at the store,
you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (42:05):
No, you're not. You're gonna be like the B word
so that you can make the show otherwise. That's why
they call it Bridezilla. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:12):
So, I mean Josh Allen as the leader of the
team super Bowl aspirations try to be MVP again, He's
absolutely gonna do as best as he said to be determined.
Now that the cameras be a distraction, I honestly don't
think at this point, seriously, twenty twenty five, everybody on
that team already has one top maybe two or three
cameras talking about their phones.

Speaker 4 (42:31):
That ends up being more of a distraction than that.

Speaker 1 (42:33):
What they do, what they say, what they post all
that that ends up being at least ACEBO can kind of,
you know, edit and control the content. When you get
players who are mad and go home with their practice
or go home at the game on their phone, they
say anything, right, and we you and I come on
here on the show. What do we say? Why would
he say that? Why would he put that out there?
Why would he tweet that, Why would he go at

(42:53):
his own team? Why would he put his business out there?

Speaker 4 (42:55):
So?

Speaker 1 (42:55):
To me, the phones are bigger distractions than the TV cameras.
The team cameras are the whole goals make the show
look cool. I just wouldn't if I was a coach,
I just wouldn't do it. I don't want that.

Speaker 3 (43:04):
I want my I don't want my team to be focused,
not playing to a camera.

Speaker 4 (43:08):
That's just the league is gonna make you though eventually. No,
then I would.

Speaker 3 (43:11):
I would have everybody curse and be nude so that
they couldn't use the footage.

Speaker 4 (43:16):
Everybody no underwear and would be no undergo.

Speaker 1 (43:18):
We're gonna act like we're gonna act like Rob Parkers
Parker's House on a Saturday night.

Speaker 4 (43:23):
The Jason Smith Show with Mike Harmon is coming up next.

Speaker 8 (43:26):
I never miss your radio show.

Speaker 2 (43:28):
I never hear it, so I never miss it.

Speaker 4 (43:30):
Did you hear that I'm the pooh poo king
