Speaker 4 (01:49):
So Matthew Stafford through four touchdowns, three he's gotten getting
a song? Wait, three games, ro first time that's ever happened.
Four touchdowns, three games in arow interceptions, he can't get
a song.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
He's gonna get a song when he has the three
picks next week.

All right, rob G?

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Another uh, you know another game for the NFL is
the greatest thing ever and there's never any bad games
and NonStop action except last night Man ten to seven.
Philly and green Bay, I mean right, and the Brewers
Philly's and the Brewers on a cold night in green Bay.

(02:58):
What a shock of that is? It's cold in green
Bay and November. Dude, how do you live there? Seriously?

Speaker 2 (03:03):
They'll do that to people.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
No, because I lived there. I lived in Detroit for
twenty years, so you know that by choice. Yeah, and
once I left, you realize, rob G, like you guys
living in southern California and all that, I understand it.
I did understand it when I was living in Detroit
for twenty.

Speaker 4 (03:22):
Robb G, you don't even understand it because he's known nothing.
But he doesn't want to go anywhere. Like he won't
go anywhere, rob G.

Speaker 1 (03:28):
I could reduce your rent by fifty percent and put
more money in your pocket.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
He still wouldn't go. It's gonna be no for me.
Dogg listen.

Speaker 4 (03:36):
Yeah, and you know what too, Southern California people. Let
me get on your hands for a second. Y'all don't travel.
They're vain, y'all.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Don't go nowhere.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Y'all go to Vegas, Arizona, and you got one family
member somewhere.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
They may be that's it.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Y'all'll be going nowhere, and I mean it's better than California.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
And then I moved here. To your point, Yo, we
got rain coming this weekend. You have no idea how much.

Speaker 2 (04:01):
It's throwing ran into my life.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
I was talking Rob, I was reading for like fifteen
minutes to him. He's like, okay, yes, get it. Let
me tell you about my moving situation, because that's we're
really worried about this.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
No, no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 4 (04:13):
The rain for your daughter's birthday parties not cool, not cool,
not when it's always.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
Situation it's sposed supposed to be.

Speaker 5 (04:21):
Now we're scrambly trying to find an indoors based I
don't got Kelvin Washington money and Rob Parker money, Like,
why don't you just get a tent?

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Let everybody get underneath the tent because.

Speaker 5 (04:30):
Your feet still gonna be wet because it'll be raining
on your grass sloppy.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
No, it won't be on the grass.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
If you get a big enough tent to cover sixty
five people where and put it in the backyard you
don't have any grass.

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Yeah, you gotta get one of the crazy ones. Like
your feet won't get wet? How are your feet going
to get what a walking to the tent?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
In and out?

Speaker 4 (04:48):
He's saying, like in and out and just people, Oh,
I gotta go the bathroom and you're still see around a.

Speaker 2 (04:52):
Party and to be way cheaper. I'm just saying, Rob.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
G Rob, you've had four parties to sell your Hall
of Fame thing. Don't talk to me about trying to
you ain't.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
About that money. Let me come out here with one
more piece of gears swag. I'm swaking on you. I'm broke.
Do you know any parties I've had? No, I'm broke.

Speaker 4 (05:08):
You know he parties did? Where'd I just tell you?
I came from my gosh. My wife's birthdays tomorrow. We
had to go celebrate her. My other kid's birthday was
two three weeks ago. Got one coming up in a week.
I'm broke, And Rob G, you don't even want to know.
You don't even want to know. I don't now, well
you know who else don't want to know?

Speaker 5 (05:24):
Right now, Green Bay Packers fans, because you guys mentioned
a horrible performance last night to lose a game ten
to seven.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
It was Rogers was playing for me.

Speaker 5 (05:33):
It was the Packers third loss this season in which
they've given up sixteen or fewer points. Just to put
that in context, the Jets are the only other team
multiple loss of this season, giving up six and a
fewer points the Jutch of Palalazans. In their three losses,
the Packers have allowed just thirty nine total points and
seven hundred and eighty total yards.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
That would make them the first.

Speaker 5 (05:56):
Team in NFL to have that happen of them since
nineteen forty. Okay, Rob Parker was twenty one at that time.
Oh wow, that's how long it, guy's been. He just
got be able to drink and everybody island on the
quarterback Jordan Love, and I was Jordan, like Jordan, I
don't know how.

Speaker 2 (06:15):
I feel about it. And Rob, you think there's someone
else to blame?

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I do, And I think Matt laflog Matt Lafloor gets
a pass for whatever reason, this team despite look at
all the wins he's had during the regular season, right,
he's had a ton. What do you win thirteen three
times with Aaron Rodgers, right, couldn't couldn't win a playoff game?
The issues they got, they move on. They got Jordan Love.

(06:45):
Now they give them the big money and these things
keep happening. I just think that there's something there. That's
why I'm down on the whole Sean McVay tree because Shanahan.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Like all these guys, right, they don't they don't win.

Speaker 1 (06:59):
Sean Seoran he won his one championship, all right, But
all the other guys that you have there, and I
think Matt Lafleur, I know people were kind of talking about,
oh it is Jordan Love, gonna get.

Speaker 2 (07:12):
Him fired or whatever. I don't.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I don't know if it's Jordan Love. But I think
at some point, right, you gotta win that that that's
all I'm saying. At some point get there. And I
don't think that when you look at like the ups
and downs of this team. He's supposed to be, what
an offensive genius? Why are they going through this Why

(07:33):
are they losing games they lost to Did you you
remember the offensive output against Carolina? You remember how bad
like that was awful? And then here you are at
home and you just need two touchdowns to beat the Eagles. Really,
that's the game you want that you want? You don't
want that game back later on in the year when
you when you have to decipher, like where wild record,

(07:55):
where we are, do we have home field or not?

Speaker 2 (07:57):
And you'll go back and remember.

Speaker 1 (07:59):
Oh my god, how did we Philadelphia came to our
crib and scored ten points and walked away with a win.
So I'm not saying I'm not giving Jordan Love a
pass that he doesn't have to play better. But I've
heard all the boy genius and offensive genius and all that,
and where is it is Jordan Love in the best

(08:20):
situation because we've seen the good Jordan Love as well,
But it's very inconsistent right now.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
And this team for.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
All the people, if you remember now, I picked him
before the trade, before the season started, but a lot
of people remember after the first couple of weeks, everybody
was in on the Packers. I don't think people are
feeling that way.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
No, And a part of it is Matt Lafleur. And
I even have my notes that I was getting ready
for the show. I put Matt Lafloor offensive guru, and
I put dot essentially saying what's up with that? Right
you got Jordan Love, who is more than capable. And again,
he's not Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Rodgers mother Grace we've ever seen.
He's not bread far for I told you I think
he could be a hybrid of the two, kind of
taking some of the best of both and eliminating some

(09:02):
of the things you didn't like about the other two.
But the issue I have with Matt Lafloor is, where's
the running game, Where's the creativity with this type of offense?

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Right you got Jordan Love.

Speaker 4 (09:13):
I would like to see Jordan Love utilize more's in
RPOs in the bootlegs and get him uses athleticism, not
saying he has to be a run nerve, but uses athleticism.
So to me, Matt Lafleur having the weapons you got
a bunch of not an issue. Maybe the issue is
they don't have the guy because they got a bunch
of guys on the outside. They got a bunch of
receivers but they don't have advante Adams. You know, you

(09:35):
see how Matthew Stafford loves to go to him.

Speaker 2 (09:37):
They don't have it.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
Justin Jefferes, they don't have it. I'm and Ron Saint
Brown one of those guys where you say that's the guy.
Clearly maybe that's an issue, and that you got a
bunch of C plus B minus guys. But Matt Lafleour
isn't running his offense as you want. Now and I
start to look at this. You can have a bad
offensive outing happens, but it can't happen to the Browns
where you score ten points. It can happened to again,

(10:02):
as we even just mentioned the Panthers, where you score thirteen.
You has scored seven against the Packers. There's been a
couple other games where you struggled throughout it. The Bengals
you ended up beating, but you were struggling throughout that game.
And then not to mention, you end up tying. Of
course you got forty points, but you're tied against the Cowboys.
They've had some really bad game loss when you think
of it, very well, come come back to hurt him,

(10:22):
as you mentioned. So I don't like what's going on now?
Back to Jordan Love. As Rob g mentioned, I can
understand why somebody say he's more like I Jordan like him,
not love him, because when the game is on the line,
when you've beted the most, he hasn't made those plays
that you would hope for, how good the talent is
and what you expected the team to be. But it's
a bad combination right now between the lack of running game.

(10:45):
Josh Jacob is supposed to be doing a lot more
than this. He's averaging three point I think it's three
point three yards of carry. He's only has five hundred
something yards on the season. He should have more than that.
And again, Jordan Love is like hot or cold. It's
feasts or famine with them. And I don't know what's
going on with them, why they can't have just solid
games and even a loss you can have, well, you know,
we just lost to a better team that we had

(11:06):
solid games. It's either feast or famine with the Packers,
and that doesn't bowl well, especially towards the end of
the season when you're gonna have a couple of games
that you're mad you're lost or even tied in. But
Matt Lafloor definitely is leaving something to be desired. Even
with that last little stretch of Aaron Rodgers, you wanted
more out of that.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Yeah, I just think like, like, where are you headed?
Like like they've won a ton of games. Yeah, his
record looks stuller like he's one of the best coaches.

Speaker 2 (11:34):
It's like that. It's like the Kyle Shanahan. At least he's.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
Gotten the Super Bowls though, you know what I mean,
at least he can say yeah, but he's but he's.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Had some some really bad you know, I get it.

Speaker 1 (11:45):
You know you got there, but at some point you
have to cash it in as well. And all I'm saying,
Matt Lafleur, I don't I don't know how long are
you gonna continue? And remember I think he did not
rob g Correct me if I'm wrong, did not get
that contract extra right? When they got the new boss
of the Packers, what's that guy's named policy, right, and they.

Speaker 4 (12:08):
Were asking them about them last night, you know, is
it basically asking you know, this is your seat hot?
And he said, you know, obviously I don't want to
focus on that, And you're basically say your seats hot
anytime right, you know, because when you're when you're coaching
this league, everything matters. But and I think they liked
I think they like what they have in him. But again,
you want to be able to get to that next level.
And if you're Kyle Shanahan, who at least can say

(12:29):
I got in the super Bowl, and you know, some
of these other guys just like I want that extra notch.
Can I get the McVeigh where we go to the
Super Bowl, we lost to the Patriot and we come
back and we win one.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Can we get that level?

Speaker 4 (12:38):
Matt Lafleur is again leaving too much to be desired,
And again it's the feast or famine like ten points, dude,
seven points, that's just you got too much talent to
end up with that. Not that you lost thirty five
to twenty seven. I can understand that. Ten seven Come
on now.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
All right? Uh?

Speaker 1 (12:59):
Kelvin Washington's hate for Aaron Rodgers's jumped to Shark as always.

Speaker 4 (14:30):
I wasn't here yesterday, so just going through watching some
of the games, talking to Rob g just cover the
things that were out there over the last forty eight
hours man. And for me, one of the things we
continue to see talk about is just kind of what
the stealers are. And my thing is we talked about
a million times, was that I thought they would be
very similar to what they were last year, and watching

(14:51):
them again the other night, Aaron Rodgers doesn't have it whole.
He has one of the worst games he had as
a pro, and people started to question Aaron Rodgers can
remember the dealers come out as Alreaty said they want
him next year. And here's what Mike Tomlin has to
say when people start questioning that, I'm not going.

Speaker 7 (15:05):
To, you know, chalk it up to an off night,
But there are no long term concerns. I'm just not
going to allow your words to be my words. That's all.
Sunday night was what it was. But I have no
long term reservations about his ability to play the position
and play the position at a high level for us.

Speaker 4 (15:23):
I do, and again it's just based off of how
far you're trying to go, Meaning if you're trying to
become a franchise like you used to be that people
viewed you as a Super Bowl winning franchise or at
least competing franchise, then to me, that doesn't make any
sense to me when you clearly can see a regression
and you can clearly see how could this happen for

(15:45):
another year. He's got a birthday coming up in December.
Next month, he'll be forty two, so in this point
through next season, he'll be forty three. And I just
don't see where they're going anywhere. The offense isn't going anywhere.
They can't run the ball, they need more weapons. DK
is the only real threat. I just don't understand exactly
what they're looking at that fix and feel optimistic about
going at this another year. And that's been my biggest

(16:07):
thing is it's not that he won't have games still,
he's one of the best quarterbacks ever. He's gonna have
games where you're, all right, a couple two three touchdowns
look good. But this is not to me where you're
feeling like we're going into a postseason if you make
it where we have a winning formula, and similar to
we were talking about the Packers, where it's just kind
of a feast or famine situation where it's it's up

(16:28):
and down, or it's there or it's not.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
It's a lot of dink and dunk.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
There's no there's no real offense, there's no real playmaking ability.
So I was watching them and just thinking, I just
don't see where there's the optimism that as the reporters
were asking him they were going to next year, saying like,
we can run this back and feel like this is
a good thing, because to me, they're in the same
situation and it will be again next year if if

(16:51):
this is the answer, and you would tell me it's
about winning a postseason game, and I would say, I
just don't even and see how that's even. That doesn't
look like what they're capable of doing right now. And again,
to me, this just looks very similar to what we
saw with Russell Wilson last year, where you're not gonna have,
you know, five or six games where they look all right,

(17:13):
five or six where they don't look good, and at
the end of the day you're sitting there pretty much
in the exact same situation. So I just didn't get
to understand. I just don't get the motivation. I'm actually
asking you help me understand it, Like, what about this
will make you want to run it back next year?

Speaker 2 (17:28):
Serious question.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
I can't help you, Michelle Beadle, That's all I'm gonna
say to you, because you just have this something you
have with Aaron Rodgers, which is something that I don't understand.
I really don't because the whole notion of you don't
what don't you understand? Do you understand what the National
Football League is?

Speaker 2 (17:50):
I don't. I really don't think you understand it. And
I'm looking at you.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
Okay, because all you want to do is get into
the playoffs and just maybe you could run the table.
You get a lucky break. We've seen teams win games
situation circumstances. The Giants you talk about Eli Manning all

(18:13):
the time, Okay, didn't have.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
Great regular seasons. He won two Super Bowls.

Speaker 1 (18:18):
You know why because he was able to excel and
things happened and they got the lucky catch and and
then he threw it to Plexico like okay, So so
there was a run Peyton Manning. I know they won
Lucky won one beating the Bears won a Super Bowl, Right,
that wasn't a great You thought that was a great
team or great circumstance, you know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (18:37):
When they when they beat what was his name, the
quarterback Rex grosserx Gros, that was a great team. They
just didn't.

Speaker 1 (18:44):
I'm just saying, but they were able to. When the
Packers won their Super Bowl, they weren't. They weren't fifteen
and one, you know when they were. They were the
sixth seed and they had to win three road playoff games.
I get it, he's forty one years old, but the
goal is always the same in the NFL. Everybody's not
gonna be perfect. You're not gonna have a perfect quarterback.

(19:04):
You're not gonna have a perfect situation. You're so high
on the on the Colts with a quarterback who really
doesn't have any kind of resume past one season with
the Giants in one playoff win, Right, you're high on
Sam Darnold and whatnot.

Speaker 2 (19:20):
He when it came time to it last year he could.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
This is a young guy in the throes of his
career who wasn't able to do it. So my point
is that the only thing that they can feel like
is that they want to have a shot. That's all
they're looking for. It's not gonna be perfect. They're not
gonna be thirteen and three. They have the same record

(19:44):
as the Kansas City Chiefs, what five and four or
whatever it is. Yes, that's all I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (19:49):
This is where we're different. That's all I'm saying. That's
what the NFL.

Speaker 4 (19:53):
Does, and this is this is where we fundamentally disagree
on this. That sounds desperate, that sounds like the Panthers.
I'd be okay with that. We just want to have
a shot.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
They haven't won the playing first game in nine years because.

Speaker 4 (20:05):
They keep doing things like this going. They had young
quarterbacks and they.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
Were wrong and picket then they have picket. They had young.

Speaker 4 (20:15):
Quarterbacks, they couldn't play, and they couldn't say you gotta
find your guys, get it.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
And if you get to me what the Giants are losing?
They have their guy. So of course they're.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
Losing because they it's just just go around and if
they feel like they found a guy, they feel like
they found.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
It doesn't guarantee you why, but that doesn't guarantee you winning.
I don't understand this whole notion. There are thirty two teams,
there's plenty of people got quarterbacks in there. I think
they thought in Arizona when they when they signed Kyler Murray,
you could go now and go back and go, well,
he's terrible. What an awful mistake. I remember when they
were seven and oh on the cliff Kingsbury.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
Do you remember that rock?

Speaker 1 (20:54):
There was seven and oh and they looked like they
had something going and they were calling them over. Was
it to hail Murray when he when he threw the
big touchdown to win the game? I remember that that
wasn't that long ago. But they found their guy, and
guess what, it didn't work out.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
What I'm saying is to go into a situation and
least I see it clear as day this is not
your guy, and then already year it just doesn't make
sense to me and it never will so I would
ever understand, which is why I thought it was a
fair question.

Speaker 2 (21:23):
All I said, as you could ask the question.

Speaker 1 (21:25):
He answered it was a fair question. But I just
don't the idea, like you don't understand. Most teams aren't
exactly where they want. They don't have the perfect quarterback,
they don't have all of the past rush. They don't
have the running game, that's all. They're all flawed, that's
they're They're all flawed. And what you want to be

(21:47):
is maybe give yourself a chance, maybe have an opportunity
where something can go your way, and maybe, like I'm
with it, maybe when the Jets winn and got him,
I told Rob and Chris, disaster waiting to happen.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
Disaster.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
I didn't know it was gonna be four snaps to
the snap, right, but you know what I mean, because
of the Jets, look at them. Okay, hey, let's move
off Aaron Rodgers. Let's go get the young guy. Let's
we got our guy, Justin Field did like you were talking.

Speaker 2 (22:18):
Oh we got a young guy.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
Let's bring in Justin Field's let's give him two years
guaranteed money where nobody would give him any kind of
deal like that. And now look with you, the coach
won't even name him the starter every week.

Speaker 4 (22:29):
Well, the coast of matter and everybody right now, coach,
you fire and everybody. So I just again look at
this and moving forward, we got to get to Steven Saga.

Speaker 2 (22:37):
We got trash talker. You start lining up as well.
Eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox. All right, we
got uh coming up there.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
Actually the second college football Playoff rankings had just happened,
so we'll talk about that. On the other side of
Sir Steve would throw some of that in there as well.
Steven saga, what's trending?

Speaker 3 (22:51):
Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk lineup in
the nation. Catch all of our shows at Foxsports Radio
dot com and within the Hearts Radio app search FSR
to listen live.

Speaker 4 (23:03):
All right, Steve, thank you so much. As Teyakoba, Rob
Parker kelvin Washington, trash talking Tuesday. Eggs and pains can
sneak in during the holiday hustle and bustle on the
leaf can help you forget the pain and make happy
memories instead. With just one pill. The lead provides up
to twelve hours of body paying leaf so you can
keep it moving. Use as directed. All right, Rob g
we got the new college football playoff rankings. We also

(23:24):
got some coaches and even SEC commissioners who have been
talking about the fact that they believe we've had This
is two weeks now in a row where you had
Sark talking about there needs to be three lost SEC teams,
and now you got the commissioner talking about it should
be six to eight teams in the.

Speaker 2 (23:40):
College fortball playoffs.

Speaker 5 (23:42):
Yeah, for good reason, because I don't know if you
guys saw in the latest rankings st he've been talking
about it all night during his updates.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
So if you missed the check.

Speaker 5 (23:48):
Out world renowned updates, three of the top five, six
of the top ten teams and the latest college football
playoff rankings are from the SEC Conference. And that is
one reason why you alluded to Steve Sarkisian said at
the end of last week. You know, I'm not saying
that a three loss team shouldn't be in the college
football playoff, but you know they would make sense for

(24:10):
a team like a three lost Texas team to make it.
And then yesterday Commissioner Greg Sanki said that the SEC
should have at least six to eight teams. He's that
big time in the playoff after him, Yes, sir, if
based on what they're saying, why do we have a

(24:30):
football season?

Speaker 2 (24:32):
It should be the SEC Invitational right.

Speaker 4 (24:33):
Well, that's where we're getting close to and rob both
of y'all, how much longer before we get into where
big ten SEC somehow find a way to separate themselves
and make it just it's their championship and it's just
twenty teams in each conference and they just go at it.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Because that's where we're headed.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Where I don't even the Pac twelve pack, eight pack,
five pack, whatever they pack it up is what I
want to call them, and the Big twelve. I mean,
you're getting closer and closer where it's just these two
conferences and it's all that matters. And as we do
our college kids segments every week with our wonderful guest
that join us and Sierra, I believe Sierra and I
we're talking about last week, we're just getting closer and

(25:13):
closer to where. I mean, you look at this run
list of team when you got teams in the Big
Ten like Indiana who normally aren't there, you got obviously
now Oregon's part of the Big Ten. I mean, between
these two conferences, that's essentially gonna be it. And obviously
you have the automatic bid, the automatic you know wins
with you know, getting in one of your conference. How

(25:33):
much longer is that gonna last? Because we've already had
people suggest that maybe should be done with you know,
the automatic bids for the ones who win their conference.
That how much longer is that gonna last? A handful
of years before that's gone. So we're heading right towards
this where it's just gonna be. And now maybe they
go from twelve to twenty four at some point twelve
to twenty and then more teams will have a chance

(25:56):
to get in. But as of right now, if you're
talking only twelve teams, it's gonna be at least eight
of them will be nine of them will be from
the Big ten and SEC. And if you don't win,
if you don't win, you're a conference.

Speaker 2 (26:09):
You have no other shot. It has nothing to do
with anything other than money. That's it.

Speaker 1 (26:13):
How can we make the most money? And they don't care.
They don't care about tradition, they don't care about any
of that other stuff. What's the best deal? What weere're
gonna get the most money? It doesn't matter. So what
lose four games, five games, They still gonna outdraw the
team that was undefeated. That's where we are. They don't care.

(26:36):
And college football fans, this is there in most places,
a lot of these places. To you, that's all they got,
you know it, That's all they got.

Speaker 2 (26:47):
What are you gonna tell people, don't go to the.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
Games in Tuscaloosa, don't go West Virginia, West Virginia, Alabama.

Speaker 1 (26:54):
No driving go to a Washington Nationals game in West
from West Virginia. No, this is all you have. So
you're gonna like it, whether you will like it or not.
What what what are you gonna do? Rebel? Not go,
not buy tickets, not watch? What are you gonna do? Nothing?

(27:14):
So that's why they treat you this way. You're gonna
make it where it doesn't matter. I remember, and I've
said this to Rob g in the old days, the
Lloyd Carr days of Michigan dude days, to lose a
game or two season, we wouldn't talk about them on
sports talk radio in Detroit, sir.

Speaker 2 (27:34):
The season was over. Why do you lose a game
or two?

Speaker 1 (27:37):
It was like, okay, college basketball season, I mean, college
football season's over.

Speaker 2 (27:41):
How bad the lion's gonna.

Speaker 1 (27:42):
Because because that's how it used to be, like games matter.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
You almost had to win almost all the game. Maybe
you have a loss or you know what I mean.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
And as soon as you lost, it was like, well,
I don't know if we can really get there now
or be number.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
Gotta start at least we can win and play you know,
good team in the Rose Bowl and maybe.

Speaker 1 (28:01):
Exactly and that and that's what it used to be
and that's not what they want to like. So what
it's don't what they got three losses, they're still better
than any of these other teams that are undefeated or
nobody will show up in this small school nobody cares
about like that's they don't care. Get the big boys
in the room. That's all we want.

Speaker 4 (28:19):
And you're gonna have to with the advent of the
nil and transfer portal, I will say some of these
other schools, I mean, you can change your destiny very quickly.
You get the right transfer guys, and you get the
right guys throwing them a couple of bucks, you can
change the trajectory of your of your you know program quickly.
We I mean Indiana, I've started last year and then

(28:40):
boom now here they are.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
Guys.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
If we agree that the SEC and the Big ten
of they do big dogs in college football, what is
to prevent them, as you guys alluded to, from just
saying we don't need the n C Double A.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
We're gonna have our own playoffs. Nothing, nothing, and they're
just gonna go from there and you can do it
any day now.

Speaker 5 (28:57):
Just for additional context there is for why I'm asking
this question before the show, me and Robert talking about
the show and the rundown, how we're gonna map this
out with like, Hey, what time do the rankings come out?

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Because they're gona determine where we're gonna talk about it.

Speaker 5 (29:11):
And I screwed up because I looked at NC double
a dot com and on their site it says rankings
will be released at eight thirty to nine pm Eastern.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
On ESPN. Guys, it is a thirty right now, and
the rankings have been out for an hour.

Speaker 5 (29:28):
Right So the NC double A website doesn't even know
how this is working.

Speaker 2 (29:32):
Rob g I'm gonna be honest.

Speaker 1 (29:34):
When we just said we're gonna do this, I was
surprised because we had talked earlier.

Speaker 2 (29:38):
I thought it was later that we were only gonna
be able to do.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
It as the last five and then we would do
a topic, you know, tomorrow, So I was even surprised.

Speaker 2 (29:47):
And now again like they don't have any.

Speaker 4 (29:50):
Power, No, I mean not to mention when you had
these two con real quick and we want to get
trash talking.

Speaker 2 (29:54):
When they start poaching, we need to get to they
can poach the team.

Speaker 4 (30:00):
So hey, Oklahoma, Oklahoma's been Big ten to mean Big twelve.
For that's just how you synonymous you think of them.
Come on over here, Oregon. Don't get no more Pac
twelve than that. Hey, come on all the way to
usc you see, come on over here to Big ten
Like that even geographically doesn't even make sense, Like you're
going across the country. Why don't you start pulling like that?
It's a rap and everybody else is gonna be trying
to get in, and you're gonna have fifty twenty five

(30:21):
to twenty five, and that's gonna be the powerhouse of
the college. If you're not in that fifty, you can't
be in the real college championship.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
All right, all right, man, So let's get there right
eight seven seven ninety nine on Five, I'm fired up
to talk.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero.
