nobody knows about it. There you go, Yes, but I
will say let me let me. Uh, I've been moving
all day, man, and my back not good.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
My back? You need for that, Rob, what's that? Just
one pill? A leaf can make you feel better.

Speaker 6 (03:10):
You go.

Speaker 2 (03:10):
I do need a leaf too, I do because my back. Man.

Speaker 4 (03:15):

All right, let's welcome in the odd couple crew on

Speaker 7 (03:39):
Heya behind the curter.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I love that, Oh my god, one more time, Alex
behind the Curtain, one of the that's my favorite movie
of all time. And of course, guess what, Robb, he's
already hating. Why I just a hater? What's wrong with it?
Says it's too long? One more time? I think so too.
Hold on behind the curt I love that. Uh.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Steve de Seger is at the anchor desk. He'll keep
us updated throughout the program.

Speaker 6 (04:11):
And of course never heard of him.

Speaker 8 (04:15):
Of him.

Speaker 4 (04:18):
Elijah social media gurgle, don't forget trash talking Tuesday. We'll
kick off in our number two. But first, uh, let's
jump in, rob g. We have big NBA news today
that we're going to digest to get started here on
the couple.

Speaker 9 (04:39):
Yeah, it is news, but I can't say it's breaking
news because we all kind of saw this one come
in for the last couple of weeks. The Dallas Mavericks
have officially parted ways within battle general manager Nico Harrison,
nine months after he upended the franchise by training away
all world point guard Kadoncic for a package including Anthony Davis.

(05:02):
Anthony Davis famously has only played fourteen of forty six
possible games since the trade. The team has started out
there the second worst record in the Western Conference, and
ownership couldn't take it anymore. So Nico Harrison is out
in Dallas, all right.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
And you know what, I get it.

Speaker 4 (05:17):
When you're down losing three, three and eleven to start right,
people want blood, Fans aren't happy.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
I get all that, but I'm gonna tell you this.
You guys could say whatever.

Speaker 4 (05:31):
You want, have your party have your parade, cause Nico's
gotten run out of Dallas.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Do all that.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
Pump your chest, it's your belt time. This was the
same general manager that took led his team to the
NBA Finals in twenty twenty four, right, not nine years ago.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
I get it.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
He is being used as a scapegoat. He traded Luca
Dodgers not because he wanted to trade him. It's because
ownership didn't want to pay him.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Did you hear me.

Speaker 4 (06:09):
It wasn't because he wanted to trade him. It was
because ownership didn't want to pay him. Those are the facts.
Let me give you some other facts why this is
a scapegoat move. It ain't like he's got his team together,
the one that he put together.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
If he had that team together and they were three and.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Eleven by all means, AD's heard, kyriees heard, Cooper flag unimpressive,
so far out of position, not playing well, the number
one overall, Picky's be all end all v and Ella.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Ice cream that we can't resist.

Speaker 4 (06:53):
No, none of it has worked out. But they aren't
because they're healthy and they're all together and they just
haven't played well. None of that is the case. And
if you're gonna do that. Jason Kidd should be on

(07:14):
a rail on his way out as well.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Oh wait a minute.

Speaker 4 (07:18):
You can look at Jason Kidd and say, well, of course,
because uh, the team's not healthy, so Jason Kidd doesn't
have to go anywhere, and that's how it works. But
the general manager who got you talent? You can say
all you want, all you NBA fans, ask your team

(07:38):
and your general managers. When was the last time they
went to the NBA finals. I'll wait because it's been
a long time. So I have an issue with the idea.
If this was a team with Kyrie, with ad with
the overall number one pick and he was lights out

(07:59):
and all this other stuff, what's happening, they wouldn't be
three and eleven. And I get it. It's it's a
it's real simple. Sports has a short menu. Fans look
at three and eleven. They're not happy. You gotta do something.
You just gave Jason Kidd a new contract, didn't you,
So of course Nico is going to be the fall guy.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Man. Ain't nobody trying to hear nothing you're talking about
right now because.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
None of this is new. Rob we knew.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Going into the trade that Anthony Davis was a liability
because he was always injured, which works when you have
a team like Lebron and some other pieces. You say, okay,
but when he's gonna be your focal point tied in
with your other focal point, Kyrie Irving, who's always injured,
that was the problem. That's what I was yelling at
you during those weeks of the trade. Who traded him

(08:48):
ownership for him? Absolute ownership?

Speaker 4 (08:51):
Okay, okay, that's what that so I just want to
get that on the table to react now.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
He is absolutely the far guy. He is absolutely the scapegrade.

Speaker 2 (09:02):
He didn't want to trade Luca with it.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
It's not like he's a middling guy that you didn't
know was gonna all of a sudden become a star.
You didn't trade Say it was Austin Reeves three years
ago and then became a star.

Speaker 2 (09:12):
Oh we didn't see that coming.

Speaker 1 (09:13):
You can't trade Luca Dontets without the sign off of
the ownership and the ownership listening to him. They at
least allegedly that he brought it up, he pitched it.
They didn't want to sign for all the max money
because they believe he was in Jerry prone and he
wasn't gonna get in shape. Well, that's also part of
the problem, Rob, is that they're three and eleven and
the Lakers are like the opposite of that. Lucas played great,

(09:37):
could say he's the leading candidate for MVP right now.
I was just like thirty something almost forty a game, Okay, Yeah,
And so that's also part of the problems that the
Lakers look great right now without Lebron and.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Luca expected to do it.

Speaker 1 (09:50):
Dallas absolutely, if he was out of shape, heavy and
playing terribly, people could say, there's a.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
No, he's a good player. That's the the idea that
you think that they're like.

Speaker 10 (10:02):
Oh my god, Lucas great. He was a five time
first at all n b A. So so you know
you left to keep part is in shape. No, but
you're without shape.

Speaker 1 (10:16):
And now he's in shape. So why wouldn't he get
in shape for you?

Speaker 4 (10:19):
Because because he never would, and because he wouldn't allowed
him to know Laker for.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
A handful of months, all of a sudden, he's in
the basis he wanted the money.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
He's in the best shape of his life now and
they got a needle. Now that you could look, I'm
just assuming that you so.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
Now work out pro athlete can't get in shape.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Now the pro athlete gotta be jabbing himself. Stop it.
Luca Dodge, would you be shocked if he's on that? Yes,
him specifically is me you Rob Geeding? Somebody know one of.

Speaker 4 (10:53):
The greatest tennis players of all time does advertise m.

Speaker 2 (10:56):
She ain't playing tennis right now, but my shape.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
When everybody looked at him and showed all those sloppy
pictures of him and talked about his weight, you're.

Speaker 1 (11:07):
Just trying to say, literally, one of the greatest out
season in the world in his prime, twenty six seven
years old, has to be jabbing himself.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
He wish he looked like at twenty five he looked
thirty five.

Speaker 2 (11:18):
That was the issue out. That's why he didn't get
the NEX cop back to got in doubt.

Speaker 1 (11:23):
I agree that Nico is escapego because again, even if
he Pitcher suggested it, they have to sign off on
trading a generation on French, I.

Speaker 2 (11:30):
Said, don't know, you're not trading. So I agree with that.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
I didn't want to Beiko is gonna land some cushy job.
This is all he's gonna get something. The NBA Dallas. Look,
just go away so we can make this thing a thing.
And you're gonna be part of the Olympic Basketball Committee
team or some cushy job up in New York and
Sarasota wherever they are, and you'll come get some jobs.
I don't know where they're at. Where is the headquarter,
Sokus saying somewhere, whoever?

Speaker 4 (11:54):
The headquarter of the NBA is in Manhattan, but the
TV deal things, it's a car, yeahkaba, a TV entertainment.

Speaker 2 (12:03):
He gonna be up in Secaukias somewhere. The office is
in Manhattan.

Speaker 1 (12:07):
Yeah that so, But back to this, to me was
so inevitable and I didn't expect him necessary to be
three and eleven. But the point is my whole point, honestly,
Rob was Kyrie is in his mid thirties and often injury,
A spectacular player, but always injured.

Speaker 4 (12:21):
You traded him a championship with Anthony Davis. Yeah, okay,
five six years ago. But I'm just asking he was
injured before he came to LA and you had the
last peak Lebron. No, but I'm asking you he was
not injured during that he played out without Anthony Davis.

Speaker 1 (12:40):
I agree, but Rob, he's always injured now, especially he's
even six years older than Lucas.

Speaker 2 (12:46):
So that was my point.

Speaker 1 (12:47):
If they traded Luca for SGA, I would have said,
all right, I didn't see that coming, but I can
get it.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
And Edwards, oh it didn't, Okay, Giannis yo kis.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
It's that they traded him for six years older than
injury to pair with another injury guy, and the pair
with a seventy two year old Klay Thompson. It none
of it made sense from the jump. That was always
my issue was that if you felt he needed to go,
you didn't get the best for him.

Speaker 2 (13:09):
You didn't get even.

Speaker 1 (13:10):
Austin Reeves, where he say, at least we got ad
and Austin Reeds we got something going.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
They didn't get anything.

Speaker 1 (13:15):
And then you brought Jay Kidd and the idea that
Jason Kidd would say, well, I think Cooper flag should
be a point guard. Jason Kidd, are you kidding me?
You're one of the greatest point guards ever. You know
what a point guard looks like. Cooper Flak is not
going to be a point guard. Get a rebound and
go every now and again, sure, but a point guard.
So this just looks bad. I knew I was never
in on this. Look at that front court and had

(13:35):
the best front court. Who's giving the ball to the
front court people.

Speaker 4 (13:38):
It's easy to say that when I said it beforehand,
you still arranged me. All I'm saying is this was
never put together or never got a chance.

Speaker 2 (13:47):
It's like the Brooklyn thing. You could say, whatever, it
didn't work.

Speaker 4 (13:50):
Yeah, of course, because they played a total of sixteen
games together.

Speaker 2 (13:53):
I'll give you that.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
Going on, you can see that the idea of it
is it like like it was the worst thing in
the world. And even without two of the three players,
Kd's foot on the line almost got them have Eastern
Conference Final, like like he made the shot, and then
on wait a minute, his foot's on the line, Like
that's how close it was Without Kyrie and with an

(14:17):
injured h James hard it was incredible.

Speaker 2 (14:21):
But anyway, with that though, I didn't see like this.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
He's he's escapegoat and you could go all you want,
Cooper flag hasn't been as advertised. Uh and and is
out of playing out of position done and and Clay
is done.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
We knew that when he signed there. And then you
got the.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
Other the other two guys who were supposed to be
a part of this who were hurt. So when you
start out three and eleven, you know.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
They love, they're always hurt.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
They didn't go, but they didn't go to the finals.
That was That wasn't ten years ago. That's that's what
you're right. It was twenty twenty, twenty twenty three when
they went to the finals. Oh, I'm talking about the Mavericks.

Speaker 1 (14:57):
You got rid of the guy that dragged you to
the Western Conviras finals, the I'm happened in the finals.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
What did they Where did the Lakers go when they
got that guy last year? Where'd they go? He just
got there? No, No, what's that to do with it?
He went to the final year before. Let him get
a whole season. Yeah, let him get a whole season.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
I knew I figured you would forget about that last year.
But everybody told me, including you, let the whole season.
Oh who would you take over? Who would you take over?
Lebron and Luca Luke?

Speaker 2 (15:23):
I tell you who? Luca and Austin Reeves.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Okay, did the Mavericks make Nico Harrison the fall guy
for everything that's gone wrong in Dallas? We'll continue that
conversation next with you. Eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox.

Speaker 1 (17:29):
What you say eight seven, seven ninety nine on Fox
Who we got Elvis in Alabama.

You're on the odd couple Fox Sports Radio. What's up? Elvis?

Speaker 11 (17:37):
Rob going bro?

Speaker 2 (17:40):
Thank you very much.

Speaker 11 (17:41):
Listen, this is what I'd like to know, and I
don't know if anybody I haven't heard anything about this.
I'd like to know the genesis of this trade. I
know it's all getting dumped on Nikos obviously a bad
you know, a bad trade obviously, even though he had
a reason and he wasn't just out of the blue.
I mean, somebody at the Mavericks didn't want to write

(18:03):
this dude a three hundred million dollars check when he
comes to work that and doesn't play defense. I get that.
But look if if the genesis of this thing was
the owner email and saying, hey, I want you to
look into trading this guy, well you gotta do what
your boss says. And even if it didn't start that way,

(18:24):
he had to run it by the owner for of course.

Speaker 2 (18:27):
Well that yeah, that the last part goes without saying.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
Anybody who thinks he did this on his own that
have no idea like you did, there's no you think
you're the GM and you get to just write check
sign people who are spending the owner's money get rid
of his assets like it just doesn't.

Speaker 1 (18:45):
That's not the way things are done.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
You're there to take the hit or you know what,
I mean, if things don't work out, that's why they
hire you.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
But that but that is not it. No, you can't
make it move anybody that magnitude Andre and Massachusetts. You're
on a couple of Fox Sports Radio. What's up?

Speaker 8 (19:02):
Dright, Hey, Hi, how you doing? Thanks for taking a call.
Listen to Nico Harrison. He took the hit then, Okay,
he took the hit now right In terms of what's
going on with the Dallas Mavericks to the previous call,
is point what the genesis of this whole Luka Doncis
fiasco is. In my mind, it's that this ownership group
brought the Dallas Mavericks believing they could have a casino

(19:25):
either attached to the arena or in some way, shape
or form connected to the organization, and that got nixed
by the state of Texas and that's when things started
to go sideways. Additionally, when they took over the team,
Mark Cuban was supposed to have some say so, can
we please bring back Mark Cuban to the NBA and
to the Dallas Mavericks so we can have some sane,
dog on ownership people that know what the heck they're doing. Obviously,

(19:47):
he doesn't have input because look at how this team
is being being run.

Speaker 7 (19:50):
Never month.

Speaker 8 (19:51):
As you said, Kelvin, it's not that you prayed Luka
Doncics in the in the dark of the night for
Anthony Davis, who's injury prone. You didn't get back Anthony Edwards.
You didn't get back Shay guilty as Alexander, you didn't
get back. You didn't get back anywhere near equal value.
It's not just that you traded him.

Speaker 11 (20:07):
You traded him.

Speaker 8 (20:08):
Let'll just respect to Anthony Davis for cheechy beans. That's
it's just outlandish. And so again before we are right now,
this mavericked ownership group, these new owners they're not back.
They're not basketball people. We're dealing with this in Boston,
they traded away Drew Holliday, which ended the dynasty. They're
not basketball people first. They're about the bottom line in business,
and when they go sideways, they're just firing whoever the

(20:29):
heck they can. It's not good for the NBA or
anybody else.

Speaker 6 (20:32):
Thank thanking me, no doubt.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
I appreciate it, right, thank you, appreciate it. Right. Fired up?

Speaker 4 (20:36):
How about Jerome real quick, Jerome and Charleston, you're on
the couple of Fox Sports Radio.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (20:40):
Jerome Nicole Housen is not surprised in the least. He's
been waiting for the last year for this to happen. Okay,
there's little thought, just makes it even easier to do. Okay,
Almer's doing fire themselves just like jar Jones. The Cowboys
been running in place for thirty years. They bought fire
him although and it ain't gonna happen anytime soon. But

(21:03):
I just said, when you get commend when you get
in trouble, always have a fall gun. So it's another example.
Who why is for roum A long time?

Speaker 1 (21:14):
No doubt? All right, Ronie wrong, thank you? Yeah, this
is Nico is definitely the listen. I told y'all he
about to land. Watch don't be shocked. You're gonna see
him laying somewhere a nice cushy job somewhere, something popped
up through the NBA or something. All right, on the
way for Salon. We'll talk some of the NFL headlines
with him. Right now, it is Steve the Seger, who's
got what's trending?

Speaker 3 (21:30):
Hey, Steve, be sure to catch live editions of The
Odd Couple with Rob Parker and Kelvin Washington weekdays at
seven pm Eastern four pm Pacific on Fox Sports Radio
and the iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 1 (21:42):
All right, Steve, thank you, appreciate it A couple. Rob
Calvin on a trash talking Tuesday.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
Aches and pains can sneak in.

Speaker 1 (21:49):
During the holiday hustle and bustle even when you're moving.
That's right. A leave can help you forget the pain
and the memories. You can have some happier memories than moving.
You All right over there, man, you back doing night.

Speaker 2 (21:59):
You need to leave.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
Turn your mind. I'm not gonna get you some leave right,
Alex said he got a few for you over there. Man,
He said, hey, but with just one pill, leave provides
us all body paying relief so you can keep it moving.

Speaker 2 (22:11):
Use as directed. What does that give me? A Cilantro's patch, Yeah,
hot patch. Listen, you're gonna be sore tomorrow.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
Today is the day of you're doing your little ten
year little sore tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (22:21):
Oh yeah, you going with them? Uh? Oh, I already
feel it. Wow.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Yeah, tomorrow is gonna be a rough day. You'll be
doing it from home. Don't worry about it. She'll take
care of you. A little bit later on she got you.

Speaker 2 (22:31):
I'm good. All right.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
We're joined now by E from Salam of course former
NFL offensivelignment. Hey, Fox Sports Radio weekends. E from Salam
on AX give him a follow What up?

Speaker 2 (22:41):
Eat?

Speaker 6 (22:42):
What's up?

Speaker 7 (22:42):
What?

Speaker 5 (22:42):
What?

Speaker 6 (22:42):
What y'all got going on over there? Man?

Speaker 9 (22:44):
What?

Speaker 6 (22:45):
No?

Speaker 2 (22:45):
No, no, I wind up moving today. That's im ain't right,
But I'm still riding it stopping. Yeah, I was moving
and you know, lifting those boxes. I mean I had
got too.

Speaker 6 (22:54):
Much money to be lifting boxes. Wrong.

Speaker 1 (22:57):
Yeah, he said he had some uh some of the
mentee you know, that's what he acquirementees for days like this.
Oh yeah, but he said he was too short. He
needed a couple more to come through that. I just
I just needed to you know what I mean. I'm
not gonna stand there and just look at people.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
Now when a few boxes? Are you talking? Shoe boxes?

Speaker 7 (23:13):
Like?

Speaker 2 (23:13):
What did you ask? I picked up stuff? Yeah? It's
all good.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
Let's not eat into's time now, let's not do that. Uh,
fil let's start here. What is uh wrong with the
Green Bay Packers?

Speaker 6 (23:24):
Look? I never was sold on Jordan Love. I that
was my I need to see uh situation coming into
this season out of all the teams I needed. People
had him preseason or you know, preseason favorite for m
v P, and I just didn't. I haven't seen enough

(23:45):
from Jordan Love to anoint him that guy. And so
for me, I still don't think that he is what
everyone thinks he is. And when you look at his
numbers and his abilities uh as completion percentage, you're like, oh, okay,
but really look at the big games, in the moments
that he needs to shine. I just don't get that
same census I do with you know, a Lamar or

(24:10):
Allen or Mahomes. I just don't see it in him.

Speaker 1 (24:14):
Yeah, these have some moments where you expect him to
shine and he has it. We'll talk a little bit
more about him and just the whole package a little
bit later. So I'll switch gears. I go to the
other side this with the Eagles. Between those two teams
and maybe a half full of other teams in NFC,
who is the leading candidate in NFC for you?

Speaker 2 (24:31):
Right now?

Speaker 1 (24:31):
The team you look at and say they're leading the conference?
Is it one of the two last night? Is it
the Lions? Is it the Rams? Where do you come out?

Speaker 6 (24:38):
I mean, look the rams are scary. The rams are
scary because that young defense will get after you.

Speaker 7 (24:44):
Man.

Speaker 6 (24:44):
I mean, if you can put pressure on opposing quarterbacks
and rush with four and you have somebody like you know,
Matthew Stafford conducting that offense. You know McVeigh to me
watching the teams in the NFC, they're to me or
they're the front runner because I believe they have the

(25:06):
whole package. They have the coach, they have the offensive
side of the ball, and they have a hillatious deep
in the front, and they're young and they're hungry.

Speaker 4 (25:13):
Hey, Ephraim, So you know, I think Caleb Williams continues
to impress so much that I think that he deserves
a song.

Speaker 2 (25:23):
So you know, I have my Wimby song. So now
we have a new song for Caleb. Here we go,
Here we go for you. And then I saw his toss.
I'm a believer and not a trace of doubt in
my mind. I'm in love with Caleb. I'm a believer.

(25:47):
I couldn't be leave him if I tried.

Speaker 6 (25:54):
Is that why you wanted to didn't want to eat
up into my time? So you play that song.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
The best art as you say, I'm in love and
then say with Taylor, make sure we didnything with Jordan
Love just make sure anything.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
Anyway, Caleb, he's been playing fantastic, especially lad in games.
Just talk about and how important it is when you
when you're able to win, you know what I mean,
and come through for your team and how teammates look
at you.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
That's the mark of a leader, right, like you can
nail polish And maybe he's not a team but whatever
that is right when the rubber meets the road man,
can you what he did in that fourth quarter on
that last drive and put them in position to come
back and win that game? Now, shame on the Giants
and and I know when when Jack and Dart went out,

(26:44):
the whole trajectory changed. But Caleb william is learning. He's
finally got a real life offensive coordinator and a head
coach that are willing to work with him, right to
give him some things, to take some things away, what
allows him to get better as a player. And I

(27:05):
mean he's obviously got the talent. He could throw the ball,
you know, with the best of them, but using his
legs like he did to score that final touchdown and
put them ahead, that was amazing. Those are all moments
young quarterbacks needs to get to that next step.

Speaker 1 (27:20):
If salam our guest right here on the odd couple
Robin Kelvin on the Trash Talk on Tuesday, I'm glad
you said young quarterback because I want to go to one.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
Right now. His team is playing very well.

Speaker 1 (27:29):
Leading the division against the team against a couple of
teams that they folks thought they wouldn't.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
That is the Patriots. Drake May depended.

Speaker 1 (27:36):
Every other week it changes who's the MVP candidate, but
now it's he's the leading candidate. But look great right now,
playing well and rabel I was shocked. A lot of
people were shocked. Tennessee got rid of him. Now he's
got this team up and running. What do you make
of just the Patriots season and Drake May.

Speaker 6 (27:51):
It's crazy. This is the first time that Mike Rabrals
had a quarterback as a head coach. Think about that.
This is the first time he's had a real life
quarterback as the head coach. And oh, by the way,
with Ryan Tannehill, all he did was get the number
one seeds. Now that was on the legs in the
back of Derrick Henry when they were in Tennessee, but

(28:14):
we knew Mike rabelkin coach and having someone like Drake
May under center and leading that offense. This kid is impressive, man,
he is impressive. And I think New England really found
the answer for the next ten twelve years or who's
gonna be air apparent to Tom Brady. Now I'm not
saying he's gonna have the level of success Tom Brady
is gonna have, not right, but there, Look, they've got

(28:40):
that position locked away and they finally start using Henderson
to run the ball. I mean, I don't know what
he was on the show for, you know, nine weeks,
but they finally allowed the young running back to go
and the two young players a tremendous head coach. The
defense is playing lights out as well. It's a lot

(29:02):
of impressive things for me looking at drink mate, But
in terms of MVP, you know, you got to look
at Sam Donald. What he's doing, man, is out of control.

Speaker 2 (29:13):
I do want to ask you a question. So the
forty nine ers cut brock Party.

Speaker 6 (29:16):
Now, no, you can't cut fifty five million dollars Rob,
you know that.

Speaker 4 (29:21):
But if if it wasn't about the contract, would you
I'm just asking you what you no, I'm just asking.

Speaker 6 (29:27):
I think brock Party is a better quarterback than Mac Jones.
I knew I think he's a better quarterback than Mac Jones.

Speaker 4 (29:35):
I just think that in that system, with what they've
been able to do there, it's pretty amazing, you know
what I mean that no matter who, and and it's
no knock to anybody, but there's been I'm not saying
that Shanahan can't win any big games, so I'm not
on the Shanahan for that, but it just seemed like
whoever's popped in there is able. That's why I've always
was questioned or questionable about brock Party. That's what was

(29:58):
always my reserve reservation him.

Speaker 6 (30:01):
Well, look, all he's done is win. He had a
bad year last year, a lot of injuries and all
of that, but all he's done is win. You go
to the super Bowl, you go to the NFC Championship game,
like all of those things matter, those things Matt Jones's
he's never done that. So you got to really look
at it in context of Kyle Shanahan. They put together
a tremendous system, it's very quarterback friendly, and they don't

(30:25):
even have all their pieces. I think they should have
done something defensively at the trade deadline to give them
a shot, especially at the time being I believe there
were five and three. I think they should have bolsted
that defense. Losing two All Pro players on defense is
going to hurt you, and they didn't do anything. That
will be their demise. It won't be the quarterback play.

Speaker 1 (30:45):
All right, one more real quick before we let you
get out of here. I'm looking at the Ravens. Rob
and I have talked about it. What do you expect.
I don't know if you had a chance to talk
to you. With NOA Lamar's back, can they make a
real run and win this division and get right back
where they want to be in the postseason?

Speaker 2 (30:58):
Try to make some noise.

Speaker 6 (31:00):
Well, I think they can. When you look at the division,
it's barely holding on UH. Who knows what the Steelers
are going to be or what they're trying to do.
It looks like they're trying to drive off a bridge.
If they can, if they can put together three four
more UH wins again, according to their schedule, they'll be
favorites in all of those games, then yeah, they can.

(31:21):
They can stretch their legs second half of the season.
And find themselves winning that division.

Speaker 2 (31:27):
No doubt. All right, we'll leave it there.

Speaker 1 (31:28):
He appreciate it as always, absolutely, brother, no doubt.

Speaker 7 (31:32):
Believe.

Speaker 2 (31:34):
Salon there, Caleb, I believe, I believe, I believe, I believe.
Wait know you to hit that part all right?

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Only way we got Shekel City player today as well
as Rob has a gripe with somebody he's been beef
with all season long. We'll tell you that is next
to THEI Couple Foxwit's Radio. You're gonna be sor tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (31:48):
Oh I already feel it. Wow, Yeah, tomorrow's gonna be
a rough day.

Speaker 3 (31:52):

I was just acknowledging your move and saying.

Speaker 2 (32:10):
You know, it takes a lot, and Alex it moved.
I'm just saying I'm talking about the furniture. See here
we go. I'm trying to redeem us. You're not helping
at all a couple.

Speaker 3 (32:40):
Welcome to Shekel City on the whole base for Rob
Parker's day Dix against the Sprat.

Speaker 2 (32:51):
Alright, how'd you do? All right?

Speaker 4 (32:53):
Well, I was three and old Friday. That's why it
didn't come in on Monday, because you know, I no
see there's a difference. I want you to be three
and all and I want Alex to play your music.
I don't want you to play the Victoria's music when
you one and two and two and one or.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
One in one. Well I was one and two last night, so.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
I missed the Victoria's music when I was three and
oh on Friday. All right, Dan, And of course I
know I never got lately. So here we go tonight,
let's do it.

Speaker 2 (33:21):
There you go, come on go. I believe I forget
I got the I had the Philadelphia Eagles plus one
in that game. They're only scoring like this. You mean
the Philadelphia Phillies. God and the Brewers. Yeah, it was
not good. Who was pitching in that game? By good?

Speaker 5 (33:34):
All right?

Speaker 4 (33:34):
I got the Pacers minus two and a half. They're
in Utah taking on the Jazz. Pacers minus no Jazz
in Utah. Philadelphia. I got plus one and a half.
They're hosting the Boston Celtics, and the Nuggets minus eight
and a half in Sacramento taking on these.

Speaker 2 (33:55):
Siberia Kings. I mean Sacramento Kings. Chris Chris Webber ain't
walking through that door.

Speaker 4 (34:00):
So again, Nuggets minus eight and a half, uh seventy
six Ers plus one and a half and the Pacers
minus two and a half.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
And remember, I'm not telling you who to bet on.
I'm telling you who I bet.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
Austin favorite against Philly. All right, that's just they are.

Speaker 2 (34:19):
Yep. Now this time for your Tireraq play of the day.

Speaker 4 (34:23):
Johann Dason emotion, hurts, fakes, looks, steps up.

Speaker 2 (34:27):
He has flooded the football. It is fun. Tate Smith
many got it. He took it on one Frock the defender.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
He took it out of the Hams of William the
fun Tay Smith from Jay Love.

Speaker 2 (34:40):
Hurt the fuck Tight Smith.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Fucking that's the Eagles radio right there, of course, with
your tire rack player of the day. For over forty years,
ti raq has been helping customers find the right tires
for how, for what and for where they drive. Ship
Fast and free back by free Road has a protection
with convenient installation options like mobile tire installation, tire reck
dot Com. The way tied buying should be. All right,

(35:06):
got that out the way. So, uh you guys some
smoke with Aaron Glenn.

Speaker 4 (35:09):
Yeah, I just don't I just don't even understand. Listen
to this sound. Oh right, here we go talking to reporters. Hey, okay,
I was wrong that he was vibing.

Speaker 2 (35:20):
I ain't mad at that. I got issues have his audio.
Now you're gonna be so tomorrow Oh I already feel it. Wow, Yeah,
tomorrow is gonna be a rough day. All right, can
we get there? We got I'm going to to pass.

Speaker 11 (35:32):
On talking about the injuries since you're Rich.

Speaker 1 (35:35):
He's not here has all the answers, so you can,
guys can get all the injuries from from Rich.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
So I go right, into this hill game.

Speaker 6 (35:41):
That's rich.

Speaker 2 (35:43):
Well, I'm telling you that's rich. Well you better call them.
No disrespect to you or rich, but like, we want
to hear from you. You know, you guys have been here.
You guys have been hearing from me.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
But now since we're just reporting stuff you know that
I haven't said, then maybe you should ask you.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
Just totally ridiculousness. Seriously, he doesn't deserve to be a
head coach. He doesn't get it. I'm dead serious.

Speaker 2 (36:05):
I know you are. I'm dead serious. Can I The
rich he's talking about is rich to mean?

Speaker 4 (36:11):
Who's covered the Jets for thirty five forty Like, seriously,
I'm known rich to meana. He breaks stories, he writes
for ESPN. He's been covering the Jets for almost four decades.
He's highly regarded and plugged into the organization.

Speaker 2 (36:27):
Okay, he's been there that long.

Speaker 4 (36:29):
So this whole notion that he's mad with that, go
go talk get rich and find out what's going on. Dude,
that's inside your house. He has sources, he's been around
way long. You've been there for forty minutes and he's
been there.

Speaker 2 (36:42):
For forty years.

Speaker 4 (36:44):
Come on, man, answer the damn questions, who's your starting quarterback?

Speaker 2 (36:48):
And what are your injuries? Really Yeah, reminds me of.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Like you're not, like he's not mature enough to be
a head coach, like a big baby. I'm dead shit
if I'm an owner watching that, this is the guy
who want to represent the organization.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
Answer the damn questions they're asking you. The press is
there to bring up rich Samini. Are you serious that?
To me, a couple of things.

Speaker 1 (37:14):
One, you have to earn that equity, right if Bill
Belichick and his prime was doing that, if Mike Tomlin,
they've earned that equity to have a bad day, to
have a grumpy day, to you know, they've earned that
to your point, the same with rich who's earned the
point that he's I have these connections, I have these
inside tracks.

Speaker 2 (37:30):
If you want to say that Richard's.

Speaker 4 (37:31):
Wrong, then they call rich out says wrong, but to
say to the rest of the media, and.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
They reminded me of the job Morant we had the
other day where he kept saying, ask the coaching staff,
Ask the coaching staff, Ask the coaching staff, and that
got him suspended. Not that I expect the Jets ownership
to suspend him, but I mean, you know, he says
you got to handle yourself as the leader of the team, much.

Speaker 4 (37:53):
Out juvenile, and then he won't even he won't announce
his a quarterback.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
Dude, you're two and seven.

Speaker 1 (37:59):
Really, you're not fooling not giving an advantage to another tables.

Speaker 4 (38:04):
Come on, man, you glad man. You're not gonna be
for the long haul doing this act. It's a terrible act.
It's immature, it's dumb.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration.
