Don't forget Kelvin coming up in about twenty eight minutes.
We got Tysher's Tower of Trivia. It's the reason you
listen to The Odd Couple on Thursday. Thank you, Lebron.
Also last Call, we'll get to that and much more,
but first I do want to take little time out
to say that today is officially an Odd Couple Day.

(01:43):
November thirteenth is if anybody used to watch the old
seventy sitcom, It's been on reruns for a long time,
but in the open of that show, The Odd Couple,
it always talks about this day, November thirteenth.

Speaker 1 (01:57):
Let's take a listen that Do Do Do Do Doo?

Speaker 2 (02:02):
And I did today, as you know, sent out a
social media post about Jack Klugman and Tony Randall, who
played those parts Oscar Madison and Felix Unger on the
ABC show The Odd Couple, and I also mentioned the
radio shows that have been a part of my life

(02:23):
and the whole Odd Couple thing, from watching that TV
show to having the very first Odd Couple show on
WDFN in Detroit with Mike Stone. And you worked at
DFN as well, and you work with Stony and then of.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Course, uh, six years with Chris Bussard on the.

Speaker 2 (02:41):
Odd Couple here on Fox Sports Radio, and now we're
into year number two with Kelvin Washington.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
And I appreciate you.

Speaker 2 (02:47):
I appreciate everybody who's a part of this, uh, the staff,
the crew that makes this a fun We talk about
it all the time, Kelvin. Fun and informative. That's what
we want this radio show to be. And thank you.
I wanted to say thank you on the EYD couple
of days.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Oh Man, thank you listen. I told you before.

Speaker 5 (03:04):
Man, you know, Uh, I'm appreciative you welcome me and
Rob g Alex, the whole crew obviously the boss has
done and Scott, it's been a great ride. You and
Chris were my guys before I even ever got don't
thought about getting on the show. You guys were my guys.
Did great work there. So shout out to brew.

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (03:19):
And if the odd for me is I you know,
I know the guys who even Stony I know, I
was young in my career, just a lowly you know,
promotion assistance, so he didn't really know me, but you
know I used to work with him AND's just the
sort of to be working with somebody that I saw
the time of Detroit or read or heard. And then
like I said, to know the guys you work with

(03:39):
and know Stony to be considered Chris a friend, and
you know, it's uh, it's uh, it's been.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
A great ride and not working with you, so it's
been dope, man.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
And uh so shout out to the eye couple by
the way, when he was playing that, I thought your.

Speaker 4 (03:50):
Phone was ringing.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I didn't know if it was there you go theme
song or your phone was so I would have the
odd couple thing as a theme as my ring tone.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
It's kind of yeah, kind of crazy.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
Oh yeah, that's so you.

Speaker 5 (04:02):
I was, oh, by the way, real quick, but Eddie Murphy, doc,
you are Eddie Murphy. There's a part where he talks
about his youth. He's not growing up. And my brothers
they were always outside. They would feel a little older,
so they were always outside. Blah blah. He was like
I was a TV kid man. He was like, I
would watch the TV. I would bring it into by
the dinner table and I would put a blanket over
the table and I would be like my own little tent.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
And I just knew everything. I knew the words, I
knew the characters. I was like, Robs, you.

Speaker 1 (04:27):
That's sound right.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Eddie Murphy growing up in New York during that time.
And and you ask anybody in New York. You grew
up in New York during that time. You watched the
Odd Couple used to come on four times a day
on Channel eleven, an independent station, and the same thing,
the Honeymooners star Trek.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
We all grew up with that stuff. And Eddie Murphy
was just like everybody else, what, all right, let's do it.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I appreciate that Odd Couple. Day, November thirteenth is that day.
Last night, Kelvin h.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
I get it.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Okac has been beating up on everybody. So this is
not like, uh, we're got breaking news. But I do
believe that there was a feeling like the Lakers have
gotten off to such a great start, that there was
this idea like that was a barometer or a test
to see where.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
They were, you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (05:22):
Right?

Speaker 2 (05:23):
And instead and instead it was a disaster. It was disappointing.
I'm sure Lebron thought to herself, Yeah, y'all do need me,
y'all do need me, y'all try to make it like
the team is better without me. It just was one
of those things, and I think people wanted to see

(05:44):
what happens.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
If the Lakers beat OKAYC.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
You know what I mean, if the Lakers were able
to somehow beat them or play really well, or you
feel good about going in and instead they wind up
getting drum in that game. What did you take away
Kelvin from last night's game?

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Am I right? People were looking at it as a
measuring stick.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
I absolutely, you're excited about the Lakers who were eight
and three going into that game. I believe it was
Austin Reeve is averaging twenty.

Speaker 4 (06:16):
Eight a game.

Speaker 5 (06:17):
You got Luca, Luca's going crazy, right, You're like, all right,
this is and what is the phrase everybody's saying around
La right now? He just fans Maybe Laker fans around
the world were doing this with all lebron So that's
what everybody was.

Speaker 4 (06:28):
Yeah, everybody's excited about it. Then there's this thing.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Do you know how I was saying about the Oklahoma
City last year and then going into this year as well,
there a buzz saw and me and Brandon who works
with us, he's you know, always in the back doing
great stuff. Always tell him the Lakers style of playing,
the one man kind of you know, let me get
it going. Do all this against a team with a
bunch of dudes who play their minutes. I know I'm

(06:53):
only getting ffteen minutes, but I'm gonna give you the
best fifteen minutes ever. I know I'm only getting twenty minutes.
I know I'm only in the play defense. I know
I'm only in the hit small. They all know their roles,
they're all ready to compete, they're all hungry, and they
have a system. And then they got a guy who's
just gonna put up thirty three a game, fifty plus
percentage every night, and they all played great defense. They
went up against the best team in the NBA by

(07:16):
a nice margin. Denver's right there, and you know, want
to compete. That's really about it. There's a couple of
teams have been surprising, some upstarts here or there, but man,
the Thunder has separated themselves, and obviously with Halliburton going down,
Indiana just there's just a shell of themselves. And I
just thought, I don't read too much into that as
much as to me it was the Thunder.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
I expect maybe not thirty something, but now.

Speaker 1 (07:39):
See that I get it.

Speaker 2 (07:41):
No one's saying like, had they beaten them, they're gonna
go to the finals or whatever.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
But it was a test, you know what I mean?
Justice it was they got.

Speaker 4 (07:49):
But I guess are you know what it is?

Speaker 1 (07:51):
That's what I'm saying. I already answer to that test.

Speaker 5 (07:54):
Okay, so you knew, and I told you last season
one day I said, the Thunder gonna repeat again, like they're.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
Just I'm not there yet. I still like Denver. I'm
just saying, kis just that special. And again they we
he got a relax, He got a relax He making
his look the way too easy. Basketball is not supposed
to look as easy.

Speaker 6 (08:11):
Man.

Speaker 5 (08:11):
But I just think the Lakers again, you know Luca
what he is. But what but this that we brought
up Denver real quick? You brought up Denver. The Thunder
threw a bunch of different guys. Yeah, they were rough
on yo kids. He could have got a few extra costs.
That's what they did last night to Luca. All right, Luca,
we know what you've been doing forty at night that
you ain't You're gonna have to earn this tonight and

(08:32):
they threw different guys, different sets, different defenses, and he
Luca was out there a little but fuddled, and you
can just.

Speaker 4 (08:38):
See the under locked in Nick. Thank you, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 2 (08:40):
So, but but if you're but if you're a Laker
fan now, like people were feeling good, you mentioned it,
Oh we're doing this without Lebron. We don't want Lebron
back here to mess up what we got going. Now
is there review of yeah, yeah, we do need Lebron,
you know what I mean? Like after that, because it
wasn't like they lost the CLI game.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
They played great and you feel good leaving, You're like, god,
we got demolished. The brob I know felt good. I'm
not saying that he wants team to lose, but.

Speaker 5 (09:10):
He felt wanted again, Like you know what I mean,
y'all need me what what?

Speaker 4 (09:14):
So let me go check his instagram.

Speaker 5 (09:15):
Rob. Let me see if he put out something like
you know, he beginning his aj brown on you know,
oh I thought I wasn't needed. He would say something
that's too obvious. It would be something more like wash king.
It would just be That's all it would be. You'd
be like, oh, here, he must be feeling like he
needed to get No. I think the Lakers know they
need speed, they need athleticism, and I think JJ it

(09:37):
was it was a call for JJ Reddick more specifically
Rob Polinka to say, we're good, We're gonna be seventy
percent of the teams.

Speaker 4 (09:43):
Most of the time, but that upper excelent, that's that champion.
We're not there.

Speaker 5 (09:48):
And Rob Polinka is gonna have to keep his phone
on and you know, and be ready to make some
moves or something.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
And Austin reeves. I know they don't want to get
rid of him.

Speaker 5 (09:57):
That's your biggest trading piece, because you ain't really got
unless some crazy deal happened with Lebron, which we don't expect.

Speaker 1 (10:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:04):
I just think if you're a Laker fan, you don't
feel as good. And I get it, it's only one
game and one you weren't going to win the championship
last night, But I wonder.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
Do you need Lebron back?

Speaker 2 (10:16):
What did it take some of the wind out of
your sale for their start?

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Do you still feel as good.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
If you're a Laker fan out there as you did
before or now? Is it different a little bit? And
you look and say, wow, how far are we because
you remember last year people were talking big smack when
they were you know, when Luca and Lebron went into
the you know, the playoffs.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Oh god, who do you? Oh god? Who who's better than?
Who's better than those two guys?

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Oh god?

Speaker 5 (10:45):
That's how everybody felt. That's how Laker fans watching that game.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
Oh god, watch, Oh god, oh god, oh god.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
I think you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 5 (10:56):
If you're a Laker fan, I think you went you
we went to bed, and you said, okay, okay, we're good.
We ain't great, that's great, and we got some room
to improve. And like I said, Rob Polka, you better
be on that phone texting and shooting some emails and
some texts and some dms like hey, you know, just
what would it take to get this player?

Speaker 7 (11:15):
Saon?

Speaker 5 (11:15):
What would it take to get that person? Oh, y'all,
don't like Joe?

Speaker 4 (11:19):
You know something? Because again, if the goal is not
to just get to the.

Speaker 5 (11:22):
Second round, if the goal is to win, the Lakers
still got some work to do. Because Denver is ahead
of them by far. I still think the Rockets are
ahead of them. And uh and obviously ok see is
just I mean they're and They're are bustling. They're doing
this without Jaylen Williams, their second best player. He hasn't
even played yet. That's what's scary about this team. An

(11:42):
All Star hadn't even played yet. And after the game
last night, he goes, oh to their interview SGA and
as SGA said, thank you, and.

Speaker 4 (11:50):
He walks away. J Dob goes, by the way, you
don't worry.

Speaker 5 (11:53):
I'm still playing basketball like I ain't even came out yet,
Like I ain't even played it.

Speaker 4 (11:57):
That's what makes it even scarier.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
Rob, It is crazy when you think about it, that
they're not at full strength and they're still winning like crazy.

Speaker 1 (12:04):
But where are you?

Speaker 2 (12:05):

(14:58):
What we Got or Lando? N L.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Passo, You're on the odd couple of Fox Sports Radio.
What's up Orlando?

Speaker 11 (15:05):
From one Laker hater to another?

Speaker 9 (15:09):
Is that me?

Speaker 1 (15:10):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (15:10):
Good?

Speaker 11 (15:11):
Oh God, listen the Frouds. He can tell right away
they don't play defense really well. And I think when
Lebron comes in, he's gonna throw the defensive rotation off
and the points against them, they're going to skyrocker. You
just watch and you know, just to sum it up,
Lebron's weird, you know, because you know he didn't have
a father, and growing up he so great because if

(15:31):
he did have a father, he'd just be Brownie James.
Thanks guys, my god.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
I was nervous. He brought us no, I don't know
where we're going, brought up pops something. Oh boy, hold up,
where does this going?

Speaker 3 (15:43):
Who next?

Speaker 1 (15:44):
That's it?

Speaker 2 (15:45):
Uh eight seven seven ninety nine on Fox YEA. If
anybody else wants to jump in, please do that.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
I think, like I said, man, I think they're listen.

Speaker 5 (15:53):
I think if you're j J, Riady or you know,
the whole squad, I think I think you got a
great eighth of the way. See, you know, through the
season awakening of oh we're good, Luca is always gonna
put up numbers, and you know, and and Austin reasons
having a really good season.

Speaker 4 (16:08):
We're good. But where are levels to this?

Speaker 5 (16:11):
And okay, see, is the litmus test of it all,
because clearly the raining chances, but also they look like
they can be repeating. And we notice a few other teams,
So I think the Lakers are They're fine. They just
have to if they're really trying to contend or is
this just a Luca get in shape, ball out MVP year.

Speaker 4 (16:29):
Let's figure out what we do next when Lebron is
gone year.

Speaker 5 (16:32):
I think they got some figuring out to do, me
because if there's a championship year, then they know, now
that was a great wake up call that they got
some work to do.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Oh yeah, no, no, no, that that that's going to be.

Speaker 2 (16:42):
I think people got were more surprised about the great start.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
That they were off to.

Speaker 2 (16:46):
Am I right, Like I agree, like like oh wow,
like look how good they are and this and that
and uh and then I think people did want to.

Speaker 1 (16:54):
Just see is this a mirage or just something here?
You know what I mean?

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Like like wow, if they would have been able to
compete or play great or do something, that just would
have been a little something there.

Speaker 1 (17:05):
And I think I agree, that's all.

Speaker 4 (17:08):
You can lose. But they gotta lose like that.

Speaker 2 (17:10):
Exactly, Like they could have lost and you would have
been like, oh wow.

Speaker 1 (17:13):
They think they held it through. They were lost late
in the fourth.

Speaker 4 (17:17):
Okay, all right, you know you were right there. They
got smacked early.

Speaker 5 (17:22):
Oh god, they gotta beat down. It's gonna be interesting, though, Rob.
Like I said, it's integrating Lebron. He's never had to
do that, right, He's just I'm Lebron. And now for
the first time, people are gonna be watching to see

(17:43):
does he mess up flow?

Speaker 4 (17:44):
Does he mess up chemistry? Does he mess up a
good thing?

Speaker 5 (17:47):
You know, Hey, they're having a good season right now
of eight I believe it's eight and four, and you know,
guys are kind of vibing and you're getting good minutes
out of this player, out of this player. I think
it's gonna be It's a very foreign territory for Lebron.
Where I walk on the court and immediately people are
kind of like, all right, don't mess this up. It's
usually the opposite. Oh thank god you're back. You know

(18:07):
we needed you, and now it's all right. No, you know,
we kind of doing all right, we kind of got
something going, don't ruin it. I think he'll be able
to kind of fit in, uh specifically offensively.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
I think he'll be fine.

Speaker 5 (18:21):
But I think the big thing will be can he
buy in defensively of just I'm gonna be the back
line of that defense, right he this is going o
the days where teams that traditional fours and fives.

Speaker 4 (18:31):
He can be the big now, he.

Speaker 5 (18:33):
Can be the guy who calls out the defense from
from the back and just say, hey, we're doing this,
we're doing that for Spurts. If he can buy in
like that, buy in is Lucas team, he'll be a
great asset.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
But if he comes in, I gotta I gotta be
the one.

Speaker 5 (18:50):
Under, you know, getting the ball on the inbound, slowing
everything up, slowing up the pace. I think that'll be
something they're gonna havep They're gonna bump heads. He's gonna
bump heads because this is Luke his team period.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (19:01):
But but you've got other guys great contributions, Austin Reeves
and Ruie.

Speaker 1 (19:06):
Yeah, but this is the this is the thing. Lebron's
not gonna I know people are.

Speaker 2 (19:13):
Saying, oh, yeah, well it's it's it's Luca's team. Do
you really believe Lebron's just gonna fall back and be like,
oh yeah, I just don't I don't see that happening.
I understand it. I know the future is about Luca,
but if he's out there and playing, there's no way, uh,

(19:33):
there's there's no way that he's gonna take a back seat.
I just don't believe it. I'd have to see that
to believe it.

Speaker 5 (19:40):
I don't think it's I and I hear you, and
there's been twenty something years of, you know, justification for
your point. But I do think there's an element of
him that it's the trust factor, Like, Okay, I trust Luca,
I trust Austin Reeves, not that I'm gonna take a
back seat and not, you know, contribute. More so here
you do the ball, the ball care and you do

(20:01):
the bulk of the getting us in our offense. And
I think for the first time he'll be able to
say because what else, you know. And the only other
person he really was able to do that way at
times was Kyrie. And a lot of the benefit of
a Kyrie was because Kyrie just took the ball like
Kyrie won for him to have been so young, Kyrie
didn't need your permission.

Speaker 4 (20:16):
Kyrie.

Speaker 5 (20:16):
He was like, I mean that ball, I'm about to
go do me And it worked well because he wasn't
scared of Lebron or like, oh, I guess I got it.

Speaker 4 (20:23):
He didn't always have to defer.

Speaker 5 (20:25):
He was like, yo, get I know I can cook.
Let me get that rock. And so I think Luca
obviously we know he can cook. I think there's a
part of Lebron's kind of like what I'm gonna do.
That's Lucas first time I actually look.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
At somebody, I go, yeah, he is that guy, you
know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (20:39):
And especially at this point in my career. So I
think he'll be okay with that. I just think he
has to find his role. Cutting posting up for the
first time more often might just be a spot up
three point shooter some games, you know, not singularly or only,
but just you know, that might be the rhythm of
the game for that night. So if he can adapt
to that and buy in on that, that's a great asset.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
Rob You'll bring it in. Still a top twenty fifteen.

Speaker 1 (21:01):
Yeah, But I just he's an all time great though.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
I just I can't really see him going oh yeah
or giving it up like that where you just be like, Okay, yeah,
Luca's better, He's younger or whatever. I'll just be uh.
The also ran, I'll be the sidekick. I don't, Kelvin,
I don't. I'm not saying he's coming in and thinking
he's the number one option. I'm not saying he's coming

(21:26):
in and I'm not the option giving me the rock,
I'll get the last shout of the game, or anything
like that. I just don't think it's gonna be as
easy of a transition as people make it out to be, like, oh, yeah,
they got off to an eight and to each start,
I'm just gonna step to the side.

Speaker 1 (21:40):
I don't see that.

Speaker 4 (21:43):
No, it's gonna be listening. It's foreign territory, rob right.

Speaker 5 (21:46):
He's used to sucking all the oxygen out of the
room like I'm I'm the man, I'm here. Saviors back
if you will, and a lot of fans, like I said,
for the first time, they gonna be like, all right, bro,
we was. We was kind of liking what we had
going on. So it'll be it's gonna be a very
foreign situation for him where people are watching him every play,

(22:06):
not just to see how greater dominant he is, more
so don't mess this up.

Speaker 4 (22:10):
And he's never had that experience before. All right, we
got Tyson Tower of trivia on the way right now.
It is Mante Milanio. So she's gonna get your settle.

Speaker 12 (22:17):
What's training, guys, Okay see, is just that good? You know,
when you put a team against them, you.

Speaker 13 (22:25):
Can just see they're.

Speaker 7 (22:27):
Just that good.

Speaker 12 (22:27):
And it's annoying. So but it's early in the season
and teams are gonna adjust. But okay see, is just
that damn good. All right, let's check in. I don't
even have Jaalen Williams yet, they don't I know, I know,
and I don't. I don't know what the Lakers are
gonna do once Lebron comes back, if he's gonna just
seamlessly walk back onto the court like that.

Speaker 13 (22:44):
But we'll see, we'll see.

Speaker 12 (22:45):
The point is, okay see is really good and there's
a good chance they repeat. We'll start with the NFL guys.
Now that Week eleven is officially underway. The Patriots have
a fourteen to seven lead, very late in the second quarter,
down to the final seconds. Here, Drake may is fourteen
of sixteen for one hundred and forty yards in the air,
but it's Traveon Henderson who has put New England in
the end zone twice. He's got twelve carries, thirty nine

(23:07):
yards and two touchdowns.

Speaker 13 (23:09):
Justin fields has a rushing touchdown. In fact, New York
did that on their opening drive.

Speaker 12 (23:12):
They have not gone in the end zone since, but
they are headed to halftime. When it comes to men's
college hoops, number two Produce survived against number eight Alabama.
Eighty seven to eighty was the final score in the
NBA three games going on and late well one just finished,
but the Raptors beat the Cavaliers officially one twenty six
to one thirteen. Late in the first quarter, the Suns
have a twenty four to twenty one lead over the Pacers,

(23:34):
and also late in the first quarter, the Hawks are
topping the Jots twenty one to thirteen.

Speaker 13 (23:39):
When it comes to baseball.

Speaker 12 (23:41):
Yes, the MVP awards came out showho Tani unanimously won
the National League.

Speaker 13 (23:45):

Speaker 12 (23:48):
He's only the second player ever to win four MVPs,
and Aaron Judge has won the AL MVP for a
second consecutive season.

Speaker 13 (23:54):
This is his third MVP.

Speaker 12 (23:56):
Other baseball news, ownership from the San Diego Padres released
a statement today saying that they're looking at the possibility
of selling the franchise when it comes to hockey.

Speaker 13 (24:06):
A lot of games going on.

Speaker 12 (24:08):
Kings and Maple leaves tight at three with about thirteen
seconds to go in the third period. Red Wings over
the Ducks right now five to three with about eight
minutes left, and the Panthers have a five to three
lead over the Capitals at home with about six minutes
to go, while the Stars the Stars shut out the
Canadians seven zero.

Speaker 1 (24:25):

of sports, and there's gonna be a blank involved, and

as to what that blank might be. And you can

Speaker 1 (29:36):
Oh god, oh god, my favor.

Speaker 7 (29:42):
Jonathan Taylor has been playing amazing this year, but some
people are hesitant to put him in MVP talks, as
no running backs or no running back has won the
award since twenty thirteen, when Adrian Peterson won it for
the Minnesota Blank.

Speaker 6 (29:55):
It's a lot of names.

Speaker 1 (29:57):

the Vikings game, isn't he here?

Speaker 13 (30:44):

Speaker 7 (30:45):
I should have specified at the beginning of the round
here that this is all m vps. That's the addition
of today. I was wondering about the football. Yeah, Next up,
from nineteen ninety nine to two thousand and one, the
NFL MVP Award was won by Kurt Warner, Marshall Falk
and Kurt Warner again. That made three straight years of
the winter playing for the same team, the Saint Louis Blanks.

MVP Award. That player was Larry Blank, Alex raw, how

Speaker 4 (32:21):
My daughters don't love you anymore.

Speaker 1 (32:23):

Speaker 9 (32:23):

Speaker 6 (32:26):

Speaker 1 (33:09):

Speaker 4 (33:10):

Speaker 1 (33:14):
You know what?

Speaker 7 (33:15):
There is one more? There is one more?

Speaker 6 (33:16):
What you know?

Speaker 4 (33:18):
Yes, there's one more? Did you not look at the
text messages as this?

Speaker 1 (33:22):
Alex went way over the time. Come on, Tiger.

Speaker 7 (33:26):
In two thousand and two and two thousand and three,

Speaker 4 (33:58):

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage

Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
