(00:21):
s R. You're listening to the Best of the Odd
Couple with Chris Brush and Rod Harker. Let's jump into this,
Lamar Jackson. Now, ESPN they do this annually. I think
this was the third year they've done it. But Jeremy
Fowler always polls, you know, fifty sumid coaches, executives, players, scouts,

(00:49):
and they ranked you know, guys by at their position.
They did the top ten quarterbacks in the NFL. And
and in fairness, Fowler said that slot. This is not
a lifetime achievement award. This is not potential. This is
right now, all right? What who the best ten quarterbacks

(01:12):
are at this very moment heading into the season. And
here was the list. I'll go backwards at number ten,
Dak Prescott, number nine, Deshaun Watson eight, Russell Wilson seven,
Justin Herbert six, Matthew Stafford five, Joe Burrow four, Tom Brady, three,

(01:35):
Josh Allen, two Patrick Mahomes and one Aaron Rodgers. And
I got some issues with some of these the placements
on this and mainly, look, I get that Lamar Jackson,
the MVP one time MVP has let's face it, his
last two years since the MVP, each one has gotten

(01:55):
progressively worse. But that said to me, he's got to
be on the list. And I'm looking at Eve from
I don't know how in the world, especially when they
qualified it like at this very moment, how in the
world can Deshaun Watson be on the list. That's the
thing that blows my mind. This man, I haven't played

(02:16):
in the year in the half like we don't know why,
at least the half season. We don't know when we'll
see him again. So how could you even say something
like we don't know who Deshaun Watson is right now? Absolutely,
and that's an insult to someone like Lamar Jackson. Let
me ask you this again, being a performer professional athlete,

(02:39):
I mean, we've seen guys have long time off because
of injuries or even Michael Jordan retiring, But what do
you think the impact of that will be on the
lamarch on a Deshaun Watson. Um, it's gonna take him
a minute to get up to speed. So practice won't
cut it. What no, no, no no, uh, practice in the

(03:01):
NFL it's I mean no, no, it's not even it's
not even close. It's think about this. If the biggest
game in college the championship, doesn't measure up to a
regular season game of the NFL, then what is practice
gonna do? Right? Right? Well, and especially nowadays, they don't.
They don't go. It's hard to get very rarely really

(03:25):
practice hard. Right. It's no hitting, and there's no any
of that new game uh situations. You don't get a
lot of different looks defensively, the blitzes and then this
the overall talent of the other the opposing team's defense. Right,
you don't get any of that in practice. You don't
get any of that in preseason. And so you know,

(03:48):
depending on you know, and it should be coming down,
you know, tomorrow, sometime this week, we should know what
the uh if any suspension for Deshaun Washington, Washington, Deshaun
Watson is going to be. So it's going to take
him a minute to get up to snuff. It's not

(04:09):
just I mean, he obviously is athletic enough, but it's
still I don't have to be a shock, just like
anybody coming from coming back from injury, right, and then
you're just trying to work yourself back into and now
you have the mental uh hangover of the injury and
trying to fight that. But for Deshaun Watson, it's going

(04:31):
to be more so. You missing a whole year of
football right right at this level, and then it was
four and twelve. Now granted he individually he played well, great,
but he's never had a winning season. Like it's not well,
he's at winning season in terms of when when I'm

(04:53):
talking about that deep in the playoffs, in terms of
two hundred and thirty million dollars fully guaranteed winning seasons. Okay, right,
there's a difference. Right, you can get the playoffs and
it could be whatever it is. But if you're gonna
garner the most money that anybody's ever made a guaranteed contract,
then I mean you got guys. And John Brady went

(05:14):
to seven Super Bowls. He's never even sniffed anything like that.
A lot of great Hall of Fame quarterbacks have made
their career, the totality, and of course the money has
gone up now, but what I'm saying is still if
you're gonna have that type, Like if you would have
asked me, does Lamar Jackson or Deshaun Watson deserve two

(05:35):
hundred and thirty? You know million, you have to pick one? Right,
it's Lamar's Lamar? So how do you not have him
on the list? Well, and that leads me there's another
guy I think it shouldn't be ahead of Lamar. And
it's to me again a Travesy that I agree, and
I'm known on this show as a that guy. But
come on, nah, come on man, if you ask right now,

(05:59):
Jerry Jones, who would you want Lamar Jackson or Dak
Prescott In a heartbeat? That man would would pick Lamar heartbeat.
It just as a different dynamic to your team. Right
if he were in Dallas instead of Dak. I don't
know that they have a Super Bowl, but they be
much better than they have, much better. Absolutely so, just

(06:23):
those two guys in even the down year to Russell
Wilson had. Now he's done enough to where you'd be like, okay,
he's still the top league quarterback. But the down yere
if you're talking about right now, the down year Russell
Wilson had, including the injury last year and what he
was unable to do for Seattle, It's just like, oh,
how do you not put this man in the mix

(06:43):
at all? Yeah? Him, I don't, I mean, do you
any of the other Like I think Mahomes should be
number one still, I mean, my my argument with Rodgers
is just the playoffs. Yeah, I get the regular season,
but I can't him as the best quarterback in the league.
But the consistent playoff failures and and people still are

(07:05):
singing that old refrain from about all the defensive it
ain't just been that right, that's a that's a that's
an old that that that right. You gotta you have
to get with the ten years, you know, you know
what I mean. And for those who are like, he's
the greatest thrower of the football, okay, and what right? Right?

(07:26):
So the thing about and I've played in at lambeau
Field in December and in January, it is terrible. It's awful.
Hated it as a player, as a you know, an
opposing player. But the thing was that if you had
to go through Green Bay to get to the Super Bowl.

(07:47):
Then there was a thirty percent chance that you would
make it like it was. It was that much of
an advantage. It was. It's that much of an advantage.
And that's gone now. And that happened when Mike Vick
was still in Atlanta and Michael Vick went to Green
Bay and beat them in the playoffs. And since then,

(08:07):
if you look at what Aaron Rodgers has done the
last two years, I mean last year, especially, everything you
wanted to happen happened. Yep. Number one seed, Ye got
to buy that. Everybody had to come. The Super Bowl
ran through Green Bay. Nothing. Be sure to catch live

Soap of favor and listen to Inside the Partner with
Rob Parker on the iHeart Radio app or wherever you
get your podcast. Damian Lillard, who is one of the

(09:10):
best players in the NBA, and you brought him up earlier.
He just accepted a two year, one hundred and twenty
million dollars extension one undred twenty two million I think
dollar extension with the Portland Trailblazers. That could if he's
not traded before then it'll finish his career in Portland.

(09:37):
And he is a guy that you know hasn't won
the championship and quite honestly, he from I don't think
he will win a championship. But Rob g tell us
what he said. We've kind of banged a little bit.
We haven't crushed him, but we banged a little bit
on Bradley Beale for being in a situation in Washington, say,

(10:01):
and he wants to win, but resigning with that hapless
team over and over again. Tell us what Damian Lillard
said about staying in Portland rather than trying to join
go somewhere else and join the team that could win
the championship. While Chris he said a lot. But here's
the money. Quote he said, quote. I've always said that
if I do something that goes against who I am

(10:22):
and say I do end up winning, I know me
better than any of y'all know me. So I'd be
happy with it, because I don't think anybody wouldn't be
happy being a champion. But it wouldn't be as fulfilling
to me as I would want that moment to be.
As long as I have an opportunity to do it,
a good opportunity to do it, which is winning a championship,
I'm willing to go out. However, I think it's a

(10:45):
very mature statement from I'm gonna let you share your
thoughts before I dig in. Look, man, you gotta realize, Okay,
not everybody. We get caught up in this whole thing,
especially when you have a team like or a player
like Tom Brady gets seven rings, and you have these

(11:05):
little baby dynasties with Golden State, and you have the
Lakers run at a dynasty and in these teams wait, wait, wait,
wait wait wait, baby dynasty. Golden State winning four and
six years is a baby dynasty. But the Lakers weak,
Lakers have seventeen championships. Okay, but that's what I mean

(11:26):
right lately, Like, okay, I just wanted to check the
Lakers fans and you don't don't don't don't check it
because in the eighties they want five and in ten years,
right like so forty years ago. But that's what I'm saying,
Like I'm saying in terms of dynasties, right, Golden State
has four, Golden State of many because they have four

(11:46):
four and six years, but only four years. But only
four though, but six years as a dynasty. Okay, all right, anyway, um,
I know you got the hattle. You just got Hey,
you gotta sighted right there. I couldn't wait to jump in.
I'm just checking it. You come on, man, You're not

(12:07):
You're not You're not checking nothing. Man, come on, man,
catch up. That's all I'm saying anyway. Uh, And so
we get swept up in this or everybody's got to
win a championship. Everybody gotta get it. You gotta go,
you gotta go get you one. Man. You gotta go
find a team. You gotta get you one. Everybody doesn't

(12:28):
get a chance to win the championship. So the greatest
players in the world have never won a championship. Absolutely
and that's not always and I'm not trying to say
Damn Lillard isn't he doesn't want to win a championship.
That's not what I'm saying. What I'm saying is he's
not going to chase it if it's not something he
wants to he feels good about. Right. He has made

(12:51):
it clear, abundantly clear, he wants to stay in Portland.
Can Portland put a team around him that can win
a championship or can pete for a championship? No? Right, Okay,
no they can't. We've seen them failed time and time again.
Not a lot of free agents going to Portland. Right.
So with that said, look, Dame is is a dynamic player.

(13:19):
He's gonna be making I mean a half of four
hundred and thirty five million dollars half a billion dollars. Right,
So Dame from Oakland, East Oakland throwing a million dollars
from East Oakland. Right? Oh? He good, he good, He's good.

(13:39):
He's gonna be a Hall of Famer. He's the tops.
Come on, man, like, it's like, what are we what
are we doing? We want to nitpick because because he
doesn't want to jump on the trend of going to
team up with everybody else and going to somebody else's team.
This is Dame Lillard's team, so he would have to
leave his team and go join someone else's team to
want to championship, and he not with it. Well, let

(14:02):
me let me say this, and I want to see
if you agree with this or what your thoughts are
on this. I respect Dame, and I said, look, and
I respect Bradley Bill too, I said, I said about
Bradley Bill. Look, there are people like this in every profession.
Bradley Bill, to your point with Dame, is making ten
hundreds of millions of dollars. He's making about the same

(14:25):
amount as Damne and so he's making money beyond your
wildest dreams. He's obviously in a city that he loves, DC,
which we all like. I like DC. His family is
happy as kids are probably happy and where they're at,
got friends, he's an All Star just about every year,

(14:46):
and he's got everything he wants except he's not winning.
But that he's happy, and I'm cool with that. I'm
fine with that. He's happy, his family's happy, right right, right.
It's like there are people in our business that don't
have to win a pulletzer. They're not tripping if they
don't get a pullets If I don't get one award,

(15:06):
I don't get it. I'm tearing it up in here.
I want to put that on wreck and no, but
you're absolutely right, Like, look, man, this is a job,
a job that has an expiration date. So what you
must do is you must capitalize on your earning potential
now right, You getting the lead covery carry you the

(15:29):
rest of your life. Everybody though, not just you, right
right right, everybody, your kids, kids, you want to talk
about in this in this country, we have a problem
as African Americans, uh, with creating generational wealth right right,
because we didn't start in this country with the ability
to generate right generational right decades ago. So all of

(15:53):
these people coming out saying, oh, they're tripping, and these
two man that little thirty million, forty million you pass
up on the go join some other team, and that
has long lasting ramifications for your whole family. But here's
the thing, and I said this about Bill where I

(16:14):
differentiate between him and Lillard Iverson because Iverson had the
same mentality as Alard, never wanted to leave Philadelphia. Was like,
I'm gonna try my best to win a championship here
in Philly and lead this team to that ring. And
if I don't get it, I can live with that.
Westbrook had the same mentality. Okay. See the difference to

(16:37):
me between them and Bill is that at least their
teams And I know Dame and the Blazers are down
now and I think they're gonna stay down for the
most part, but they He's been to a conference finals.
Iverson had been to the finals. Westbrook had been to
the finals, been the conference finals. I know he lost KD,
but still they were a playoff team regularly. They at

(17:00):
least could look at something and see there's there are
the makings the foundation of a team that could one
day compete for a championship is hell here Bill, they
don't have that in Washington they don't. But this is
my ultimate point. This is what I really wanted to
see how you feel about this. I respect Dame, I

(17:23):
respected Ai and rust Brook for their stands, but let's
keep it real because the two players that we think
of that are the poster boys for leaving a team
a franchise to win a championship or championships are Lebron

(17:43):
James and Kevin Durant. And here's what I say, Ephraim
as great as Dame is, first ballot Hall of Famer
top seventy five, all that he is not at that
super duper historical elite level where you must win a championship,

(18:04):
where if you don't, even as people will give you
credit for your individual greatness, there will always be the
big yeah. But right at the top of your the
paragraph when they talk about you. And I'm talking like
Lebron James was being compared to Michael Jordans. He had

(18:28):
to win. Kevin Durant was being compared to Lebron James
after Lebron won in Miami and in Cleveland, he had
to win. It's like Patrick Ewing, Patrick Ewing, we all recognize, man,
he was great, but we and I don't even put
Barkley where Ewing was. Now, I do think Barkley was
better than you in had a better career. But I'm

(18:50):
saying Patrick came out of college right, he was gonna
be the next Bill Russell, this defensive star wart who
you know was gonna lead the Knicks to the Promised
Land and never did. And when you think about Patrick Ewing. Yes,
we acknowledge his greatness, but I'm telling you one of

(19:11):
the first thoughts is, but he never won a championship.
He underachieved, he didn't live up to the billing. Barkley
didn't have that billing going in, and he over he
exceeded what people thought he was gonna do, even if
he though he didn't win a championship. But that my
point is Dame is not there. Like, if Dame doesn't

(19:31):
win a ring, he from nobody's gonna be tripping. No,
he didn't, you know what I mean? Like, and that's
there are a handful of guys that are at that
level where it's like, you gotta win. And so that's
that's the difference to me between what Lebron did and
what KD did. And while I respected Dame's decision, isn't

(19:57):
as tough. Do you You get what I'm saying exactly
where you're you're you're coming from. And to that point,
let me ask you this question, who are those players
currently in the league who fit that billing who have
not won a championship yet? Yeah, that's a great question.
I think Luca will be will be there. He's not yet.

(20:18):
He's still what fifth fourth year? So it'll be his
fifth year, I believe. Um, but Luca will be there, uh,
you know, most of the like Kawai's obviously one, Yannis
is one embed embed I think will be there. You know,
Um what about hardness there? What about your kitchen? That's

(20:45):
a good one time right now? I feel you. I
he and he does strangely get a pass, doesn't he?
Because yes, and everybody's like okay, well right right, he
astually gets a past and I don't quite know why.
So because you can't you can't guard him like I mean,

(21:07):
he he has the ability from the center position to
take over a game like very few can right at
that position, And but we don't. Maybe as time goes on,
and I think some of it, like I mentioned with Eween,
I think, you know, maybe that's part of it is

(21:28):
that Yokis kind of came out of nowhere to us,
um embed. I don't like he. We didn't expect him
to be Patrick Eween either, you know what I mean,
Like we expect him to be good, but he had
just started playing ball in his teens and he's from camera,
you know, so those two like I don't think people

(21:49):
are killing embed yet maybe it's because they've still got
they're young, relatively young. But that's a great question. I
will say this about the guards, and maybe we'll see
a changing of the guard, so to speak, in that.
One of the reasons there's not that pressure on Dame
is because there are only three guards small guards, and

(22:12):
Dame is six two two small guards who have led
many dynasties or dynasties. That's Isaiah Thomas in Detroit and
Steph Curry, and that if you're throwing Gus Williams, you
might remember gust the Wizard Williams in Seattle. And now
I don't know that that was his team. You had
Dennis Johnson, you had Jack six, but that was like

(22:32):
a really good team, but he was the leading scorer
of the year they won the championship. So if you
want to throw him in as a smaller player leading
a team to the championship. My point is this, Everam,
it's rare. We don't really expect it from little guys
because it I just mentioned the three that have done it,
and they they had Hall of Fame help, right, absolutely,

(22:54):
they had Hall of Fame help. Both of those guys
had Hall of Fame help yep and and so and
unless Dame is able to or the you know, ownership
is able to fill that roster with Hall of Fame help,
then you get to be Allen iverson right right right.

(23:16):
AI was one that got them close obviously alone right
virtually alone, you know, and so that in today's NBA
that is almost it's so difficult to do. But what
I wonder he from his will that change because of
the way the game is. Like John Moran, he's only

(23:36):
sixty three in four years, if he hasn't won a ring,
will we be saying, yo, he ain't quite what we
thought he was. He hasn't gotten a ring, he hasn't
got to the finals. Like I wonder if that narrative
is gonna change where you do start to expect smaller
guys to lead their teams to championships, maybe because the

(24:00):
way Steph has done it, and just because of the
way the game has changed to really give smaller players
some advantages. Well, you just gotta have a dynamic supporting
cast man. Fox Sports Radio has the best sports talk

(24:20):
Search FSR to listen live. What I want to go
to and I want to stick with the NBA E
from is Kevin Durant. And we know that Kevin Durant
has requested a trade, but the trade market for him
is not what you'd think. And Brian Windhorse, NBA insider

(24:45):
for the other network, who's done a great job this
summer giving us insight into what a lot of a
lot of these trade talks and what's going on with
some of these teams, he said this, we have a
pretty gigantic golf between what the nets value of Kevin
Durant is and what the market is willing to pay.

(25:08):
And again, this requires some nuance and I know that
this potentially will be taken out of that context. But
Kevin Durant is obviously a very valuable player. Nobody doubts
that this guy is still in his prime years as
an MVP level candidate who can completely swing a team
from pretender to contender with his presence. However, the market

(25:30):
does not want to pay a super premium price for
him because if you trade away all of these top
assets on your team to get him, he becomes less
valuable to you. And that golf is why we are
in a stalemate right now and could have one for
a while. I from, if I'm the Nets, I think

(25:53):
they're doing the exact right thing. Ask for the moon,
and if I don't get the moon, then I'm keeping
Kevin Durant, you got four years left on your deal.
We believe you love the game of basketball so much
that you wouldn't dare sit out. And to be quite hones,

(26:17):
it's your thirty four. You will be in September. Last
thing you need to be doing is wasting years. I mean,
you've only played ninety games the last three years. You
need to be playing ball. I don't need to tell
him that, but in our little secret meetings in the
war room, that's what I'm saying. All right, And I
can go to Kevin Durant and say, KD, we tried, man.

(26:40):
They're offering us this, they're offering us that. We're like,
this is Kevin Durant. This is to quote him, Kevin
freaking Durant, and y'all giving us garbage. Kevin. We think
we got a higher value view of you than anybody
else in the league. Brother, So why don't you come

(27:01):
on back and play for us? Look if I'm the Nets.
I am not buckling when they give me these little
thirty cents on the dollar offers. And I get why
other teams are doing that from when we can get
into that later. But I just think if I'm the Nets,

(27:22):
I feel like I'm in control because I don't have
to trade Kevin Durant. I'll look into it to appease him,
but I am not giving him up for some chump change.
I am not giving him up to be honest for
picks and young players unless those young players are stars already.

(27:43):
So I think the Nets should hold the line demand
the highest value, and if they don't get it, guess what.
Seeing training camp, buddy, I think the thing that happened
that offset the market was the Rudy Gobert trade. So
if you look at the haul that a player like

(28:05):
Rudy Gobert, and I'm not taking anything away from him,
it's been a multiple time defensive player of the Year,
so on and so forth, all star player, but they
gave up a boatload of players, good players, not just
ended the bench guys and four first round draft picks, right,

(28:25):
So with Kevin Durant, you have to start there. I
think they wouldn't look at but with five players five
I think it was five players, pay five first round picks.
It was four first round draft picks. If there's a swap, right,
four and the swap you're correct. And so when you
look at that, it's like, okay, well what do we

(28:53):
give up for KD? Right? Because that in itself, if
you offered that four KD at the beginning of the summer,
then the Brooklyn Nets will probably be like, Okay, boom,
that makes sense. Well not not that package. What I'm
saying is starting spot right. What the conversations they're having

(29:19):
now are non starters, right because the market has been
priced out. It's similar to what happened with the Cleveland
Browns and what they did with Deshaun Watson. When you
price him, you price everybody else out. It's like, well
wait a minute, and so now if a team were

(29:39):
to trade for Kevin Durant, you don't get to use
Kevin Durant at his full capacity because you no longer
have the assets to make him that valuable. Right. You
mean like if you're a top team, if you're a
top team, then you will no longer be a top

(29:59):
team because what you have given up. It is going
to eat into whatever potential you had with Kevin Durant
on your team right at his age. And they're realize
the problem. There are several things working against them getting
eat fair value. One to your point, if I'm a
contender and I have to part with my core, like

(30:22):
if I'm Miami and I gotta give up Jimmy Butler,
Tyler hero or just say even say Jimmy Butler and
bam I to buy you. Then if I get Kevin Durant,
I got Tyler hero In an old Kyle Lowry, how
good am I? And the second thing is and I
threw out BAM knowing this, but even from you know,

(30:43):
because of the NBA rules in their collective bargaining agreement,
there are certain young stars who are not available to
be traded to the Nets as long as Ben Simmons
is on the roster, right, I mean that's deaf and Booker,
Donovan Mitchell, Andrew Wiggins, BAM out of buy you, Shaye
Gilges out there, like tons of players the Nets would want,

(31:07):
like if he was available to come to them or
go to them, I think they would be very interested
in Donovan Mitchell. But they can't get him as long
as Ben Simmons on the roster, and Ben Simmons at
this moment in time is virtually untrained. Oh it's you
just gotta with that. And the third thing is this

(31:29):
the bad teams, because you know you could say, well
they shoot, they could send Duran anywhere. Well a kind
of sort of, let's say Sacramento, all right, they got
Dearon Fox and demantus a bonas. Let's say that they
traded them for Kevin Durant, two good young players. And
then obviously Duran's not gonna be happy in Sacramento. So

(31:52):
a year later if that he wants out. Right now,
Sacramento has given up two of their young building blocks
for a guy that is demanding the trade. Well, just
just to keep that in perspective, just because he demands
the trade doesn't mean he can he can get it.
That my point with the Nets, Well, he's locked in

(32:14):
for four years, right, Like you can demand all you want.
You can either go home, give us this money back
and we both be bad, or you can come out
of here and play. See what we got, right, So
when teams start taking those type of stances, it's gonna
change how players begin to you know, operate. Well, that's

(32:37):
to me, and I've been saying this all along pretty much.
That is the stance the next should take if they
want to play k k D. Make it okay, fine,
and you know, I mean, heck, you never know. Somebody
might knock you over the head with a blockbuster deal
that you didn't foresee coming. But barring that, I'm serious.

(32:59):
I'm not even been thinking about moving him unless it
is a phenomenal deal for us, And I will go
back to him and say, we tried. You asked us
to try to trade you, and we tried. And look
KD too, I from He's gotta be smart enough, because
you said it A Phoenix, a Miami, these other teams,

(33:24):
if they get KD, they're gonna have to give up
so much they're not gonna be that great. Well, Brooklyn,
that's not the case. Brooklyn's got KD. They got Kyrie,
who has not yet requested or demanded a trade, and
they got Ben Simmons, hopefully his mind is right. They

(33:47):
I don't know where he's going outside of Golden State,
which seems untenable for him to go back there. I
don't know where he's going that gives him a better
shot to win than what he has right now in Brooklyn.
You're absolutely right. Now, this is just you know he's
talking about he wants to go to Golden State, but

(34:09):
first of all gold and say not about to do that.
Who's going? You think every who's going? Joe? I mean
you gotta getrid of you got you gotta get rid
of Clay. We want Clay. We want no no, no, no, no,
no who because I don't think they even want Clay
the Nets. If I'm the Nets, I mean Clay's older.
I don't need Clay, but I want Jordan Pool. That's

(34:32):
a non starter for Jordan Poole. Uh, that's aminga. They
can't have Wiseman cominga. Uh Clay, They're they're not getting
rid of Pool. They're not They're not getting rid of Pool.
He's the next one. Yeah. But if I got KD
do I need? If I have KD, I still got
Steph Clay k D the guy I wouldn't give up,

(34:54):
and I love Pool. I hear you, the guy I
wouldn't give up or want to. It is we as
his defense, his defense, but you got to give him.
How about Pool comminga and Wiseman. The heck of a
half Comminga is gonna be a star. And that's what's
make I think, that's that's State think, right yeah, But

(35:16):
also that's that's that's easy, right, that's easy. You do that,
dude in the heartbet how many draft picks were throwing
in there? That's easy for for for for Golden State.
They're like, okay, yeah, sure, pool comminga Wiseman. Yeah, we're

(35:36):
throwing some how many free Oh no, no, anymore than that,
anymore than that one. Then one of those guys, one
of those one of those guys, we just want to
ring one of those guys you're throwing in are only
one of them is is almost proven and that's pool
Pool right right, So that's not gonna work. You're getting

(35:58):
bad at all time rate to add with an all
time great and you're gonna give us some guys that
may or may not pan out in two picks. Come on, man, now,
who's doing that deal? Once again, what did Rudy Gobert get?
So you're gonna you're gonna short change the picks. You
gotta start at four first round picks. That's where you start.

(36:21):
Now you're throwing Wiggins. You're throwing pool right and you
throw in Wiseman. Now we can start the conversation. It
ain't happening. I know exactly it ain't and Kad, y'all
need to get it together. Go talk with your boy Kyrie.

(36:43):
I don't think y'all have not giving it even from
I think that's and we gotta break. But that's the
thing that upsets people the most is you really haven't
even given it a shot. He's played like forty four
regular season games with Kyrie. Yeah, he can't trust get
in a shot. It's hard. I get to do that, man,

(37:04):
it's hard to do that. Well, look I get that,
but give it one shot.
