handling that with Elijah.

I mean, I love the trade, but I feel like
it could almost be problematic because we're in a day
and age where players that don't go to where they
want to go may not like where they are and
it could lead to, you know, not so great results.
What do you feel about this this trade? I think
it clearly If Dame embraces this trade and this opportunity,

I think they easily become the favorites to win the
East and to most likely possibly win win it all.
I think this puts them in prime pole position to
win the NBA Championship.

the Lakers aren't in the NBA. But we'll get to that.
Damien Littler is going to embrace this. This is the
best team he's ever played on. White wouldn't this is
what he wanted? Why wouldn't he He demanded a trade.

not happen. This is not the next best thing. This

is the best thing for him. And so you're playing
with Giannis, who's arguably the best player in the NBA.
This will be Damian Lillard's best chance to win the championship.
But it's not going to be easy. Okay, Boston they're
going to be better, and you can make an argument

that Boston may be better. I didn't like that they
lost Smart in this trade.

is right there. You is clearly Dame Dash and no, no,
it's not to me. They're they're right there looking at
each other out of eye. They're both they're looking out
of it's not a clear thing they're out of. Now,
you got the team that was in the championship last year.
They're still in the conference now in the Miami Heat,
they are still there.

at the East, those are the teams that I put there.
Now you go to the West. You got the Lakers,

championship that everybody seems to forget about is the Denver Nuggas.
You had them. You got the Kings that are young

and they coming. And so there's so many good teams. Oh,
Golden State added Chris Paul, And you can say whatever
you want. Chris Paul's old, he gets Chris Paul's a leader,
he's a winner, he knows how to play. And so
there's so any teams that I wantn't say. So, I mean,

it's probably six teams that I can see winning it.
So this makes the Bucks the clear favorite. No, No, no,
clear favorite. No, because when you give up Drew Holliday,
you give up a guy that is one of the
best defensive players. And we know when you get to

the playoffs, you got to have guys get a bucket
and guys that can get a stop. Dame can get
a bucket. He ain't getting a stop, and so you
lose Grace and Allen. That's depth and people say, oh,
that doesn't matter. You lose depth. And I think that
was part of the reason that Milwaukee was so good

because of their bench. So it's gonna be inching. Obviously
they are one of the favorites. But heading shoulders above
everybody else. I don't see that.

All right, maybe not head shoulders, but I say, clear favorite.

No, it's not clear no, because I don't. I don't
see that. Man.

If if you're getting space because you have a player
of the caliber and the scoring abilities of Lillard, and
you add that to the attacking style, and it's going

to open up space Like Middleton isn't going to have
to be able to create space to get shots because
how else are you gonna cover y'all, Jannis and Lillard.

Let me say this, great players adjust, so they'll figure
it out. But what I'm saying is this, let's go
back when Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Boss played together.
Who took a back seat Chris Bosh And so you
got to put your ego to the side because all
those isoles that was he showed no longer gonna get those.

And so he's already won a championship. It's not like
the Bucks haven't won it. He's already won a championship.
And so are you willing to sacrifice your game for
the betterment of the team? And every oh that's easy.
Why wouldn't you. It's not as easy when you've played
a certain way for so long. They're going to be
a really good team, but it's not gonna be without

some hiccups and some bumps along the road, because y'all
gotta figure out how was this gonna mesh. You got
a first year head coach, and that's another thing. It's
first sure head coach. He assume he's gonna get a
great coach. I agree, we don't know, and so degree
so many variables that go into this. But when you
have two of the top ten players in the NBA

on the same team, you always are one of the favorites.
But Clearcut is just too many other good teams, at
least in my opinion. I think Boston in the East
right now is out of eye with him.

I don't know, man. I think Dame Lillard adding that
type of fire power. And one thing about Dame if
you watch him play, he's he's an unselfish dude, and
he's a leader. He's a facilitator. I almost feel like
as good a dude as Jannis is. Am I am

I going down the wrong lane by saying is he
too nice? Right Middleton. I don't know his personality because
you don't get a personality from him when you're watching
him play, like, I don't know him as a person,
so I can't give an assessment on what type of
a leader I think he would be.

You can tell and you can feel the leadership of
Damian Lillard the interviews that we've been able to hear,
the things that he said.

The reason why he was in Portland for so long.

Is because he was a leader, and he was a
class act and he's one of those guys that you follow.
But you can tell he has that fire, like there's
fire there, like he might get up in your face
and challenge you and and bringing energy. I think he
brings a different energy to Milwaukee that takes them to
the next level because it's gritty. Dame Damian Lillard is

a gritty type of guy. He's a gritty player. He
has he has that that something about him. And I
think that if I were to look at the Milwaukee Bucks,
would it be safe to say the reason why they
struggle at times is because you could basically consider them
not like they kind of I.

Mean, you can you can take that point. But LeVar Let,
let's look at other things. Damian Lillard does miss games
because injuries. So the eighty two game season, how many
gonna play sixty? So what happens in those other twenty
two he's gonna miss six, He's gonna miss twenty games,
let's say twenty because of injuries. That's what he's death.

The history of what happens has happened in the past,

Does he get his banged up? Is his body getting

think there's a different scenario that plays out when you're.

a better team. But when you get positives, you got
to put in the negatives as well. Jrewe Holliday is
nowhere near the type of player that Damian Lillard is,
but he brings elements to the game that Damian Lillard doesn't.

And so if they can overcome it, then everything you're
saying is correct. And if they can't, then and it's
gonna be very interesting.

know he isn't playing well. I just don't like it's

his face, shaking his hand, congratulating him, talking to him,

you're right, I think you should support guys, but sometimes
hearing somebody say how they really feel is refreshing to me.

because his his duty is that as a former player
that played for the team and that position knows the position.

why the you know this is escalated the way that
it has in terms of saying that Robert Salah is

supporting why is he so married to to Zack Wilson?
Why is he so know in on kind of like
protecting him. So I think that that's where the whole
conversation of the whole you know, locker room being divided
is why why is Robert Salah so committed to Zach Wilson.

Opinion everything like he got many options, but go ahead, okay,
today he doesn't have any options, right, they bring in Simeon, Well,
what's the guy's name?

Who's Trevor Sam And they bring him in. He ain't
got no he don't have no resume. I would say,
he's going to change what's going on there. So here,
you don't have a choice if you're Robert Salah today
to support to support Zach Wilson in terms of trying
to salvage a season that's already slipping away this early on.

But why would you support him in the summer? Why
would you support him in the off season? Why would
you support him going into into training camp? Why wouldn't
you just get rid of him? Like like Joe Nama said,
why didn't you just get rid of him? You know
other people have said get rid of Zach Wilson. My
theory on why he had to support or why he
felt good supporting Zach Wilson and keeping him around was

he was betting he was he was betting on Aaron
Rodgers to be what he needed to be as a player.
I don't think he ever felt like he was going
to have to show the team or show the fans
that he was in with with Zack Wilson or not
because he wasn't going to play. So you can say

face with a guy that was drafted as highs he
was drafted, and you give him the opportunity to either
a develop as a player and maybe possibly two three
years from now he gets back in and plays. Maybe
or you go in a different direction, but you have
the option and you kind of, you know, you supported him.

let's hope we see a ton of improvement in practice
so that we can feel comfortable moving forward with you

such a high pick that they felt like if he
could sit a couple of years and learn behind Aaron Rodgers,
he'll be a better quarterback. And history has shown if
you're not good right away, if you can sit and
learn behind a great maybe you got a chance. I mean,

Jordan Love is playing solid. Aaron Rodgers did it behind
Brett Favre, and so it's a possibility. That's not the
case now. And so for Zack Wilson, let's just call
it what it is. He planned for his career. He's
not planning to be a starter. He's planning for his career.
That's what he's planned for. Because you're not showing that

you're gonna be a starter, people might even be sure
you can be a backup, because what you're gonna come
in the game and do throw for one hundred and
forty five yards. So he's playing for his career. I
wish he nothing but the best. I don't I know him,
but I don't know him like that. It's just, uh,

this is a dog eat dog profession that we play in. Simple.
They want results and if you can't give them results,
it's gonna be.

I mean, I love the trade, but I feel like
it could almost be problematic because we're in a day
and age where players that don't go to where they
want to go may not like where they are and
it could lead to, you know, not so great results.
What do you feel about this this trade? I think
it clearly If Dame embraces this trade and this opportunity,

I think they easily become the favorites to win the
East and to most likely possibly win win it all.
I think this puts them in prime pole position to
win the NBA Championship.

What say you, TJ, How dare you say that? Like
the Lakers aren't in the NBA. But we'll get to that.
Damien Littler is going to embrace this. This is the
best team he's ever played on. White wouldn't this is
what he wanted? Why wouldn't he He demanded a trade.

not happen. This is not the next best thing. This

is the best thing for him. And so you're playing
with Giannis, who's arguably the best player in the NBA.
This will be Damian Lillard's best chance to win the championship.
But it's not going to be easy. Okay, Boston they're
going to be better, and you can make an argument

that Boston may be better. I didn't like that they
lost Smart in this trade.

the same results I saw, I continue and this is
just me. I continue to see Jason Tatum disappear.

And Jason Man. When you're younger, there steps you got
to go through. Jayson Tatum is one of the best
players in the NBA, buying nobody.

And so I agree.

But when you're young, there's steps you must take to
reach greatness. And I believe I agree with adversity. I
agree with that the adversity that he's faced in the
past will help him in the future, and so he'll
know how to handle that if it comes up again.
He's at that point where if it comes up, I've
been through this, I'm good, let's go. And so Boston
(04:53):
is right there. You is clearly Dame Dash and no, no,
it's not to me. They're they're right there looking at
each other out of eye. They're both they're looking out
of it's not a clear thing they're out of. Now,
you got the team that was in the championship last year.
They're still in the conference now in the Miami Heat,
they are still there.

So you have them.
Speaker 5 (05:16):
We don't know what's gonna happen with James harden An
Embiid in the sixers. And so when when I look
at the East, those are the teams that I put there.
Now you go to the West. You got the Lakers,
you got the Sons. Oh, the team that won the
championship that everybody seems to forget about is the Denver Nuggas.
You had them. You got the Kings that are young
(05:39):
and they coming. And so there's so many good teams. Oh,
Golden State added Chris Paul, And you can say whatever
you want. Chris Paul's old, he gets Chris Paul's a leader,
he's a winner, he knows how to play. And so
there's so any teams that I wantn't say. So, I mean,
(06:01):
it's probably six teams that I can see winning it.
So this makes the Bucks the clear favorite. No, No, no,
clear favorite. No, because when you give up Drew Holliday,
you give up a guy that is one of the
best defensive players. And we know when you get to
(06:22):
the playoffs, you got to have guys get a bucket
and guys that can get a stop. Dame can get
a bucket. He ain't getting a stop, and so you
lose Grace and Allen. That's depth and people say, oh,
that doesn't matter. You lose depth. And I think that
was part of the reason that Milwaukee was so good
(06:42):
because of their bench. So it's gonna be inching. Obviously
they are one of the favorites. But heading shoulders above
everybody else. I don't see that.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
All right, maybe not head shoulders, but I say, clear favorite.
Do you know?
Speaker 5 (06:56):
No, it's not clear no, because I don't. I don't
see that. Man.
Speaker 4 (07:03):
I just got that Jannis and and Middleton are like,
first of all, the offense was in a lot of
ways running through Middleton Middleton.
Speaker 5 (07:12):
Yeah, and now now now what happens LeVar because Middleton
would have the ball in his hands.

You know, I think I think Damian Lillard makes those
two better. I think he makes the team better.
Speaker 5 (07:26):
Is Middleton a really catch and shoot guy or is
he a guy that kind of gets his own own
shot and helps others get.
Speaker 4 (07:32):
Their shot line. I think anyone he can shoot the
ball really well. He but he does a lot of
it off the dribble. But all right, so here's my thing.
If if you're getting space because you have a player
of the caliber and the scoring abilities of Lillard, and
you add that to the attacking style, and it's going

to open up space Like Middleton isn't going to have
to be able to create space to get shots because
how else are you gonna cover y'all, Jannis and Lillard.
Speaker 5 (08:05):
Let me say this, great players adjust, so they'll figure
it out. But what I'm saying is this, let's go
back when Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Boss played together.
Who took a back seat Chris Bosh And so you
got to put your ego to the side because all
those isoles that was he showed no longer gonna get those.
(08:29):
And so he's already won a championship. It's not like
the Bucks haven't won it. He's already won a championship.
And so are you willing to sacrifice your game for
the betterment of the team? And every oh that's easy.
Why wouldn't you. It's not as easy when you've played
a certain way for so long. They're going to be
a really good team, but it's not gonna be without
(08:51):
some hiccups and some bumps along the road, because y'all
gotta figure out how was this gonna mesh. You got
a first year head coach, and that's another thing. It's
first sure head coach. He assume he's gonna get a
great coach. I agree, we don't know, and so degree
so many variables that go into this. But when you
have two of the top ten players in the NBA
(09:11):
on the same team, you always are one of the favorites.
But Clearcut is just too many other good teams, at
least in my opinion. I think Boston in the East
right now is out of eye with him.
Speaker 4 (09:25):
I don't know, man. I think Dame Lillard adding that
type of fire power. And one thing about Dame if
you watch him play, he's he's an unselfish dude, and
he's a leader. He's a facilitator. I almost feel like
as good a dude as Jannis is. Am I am
(09:47):
I going down the wrong lane by saying is he
too nice? Right Middleton. I don't know his personality because
you don't get a personality from him when you're watching
him play, like, I don't know him as a person,
so I can't give an assessment on what type of
a leader I think he would be.
Speaker 1 (10:07):
But he just seems like a quiet dude.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
You can tell and you can feel the leadership of
Damian Lillard the interviews that we've been able to hear,
the things that he said.
Speaker 1 (10:17):
The reason why he was in Portland for so long.

Is because he was a leader, and he was a
class act and he's one of those guys that you follow.
But you can tell he has that fire, like there's
fire there, like he might get up in your face
and challenge you and and bringing energy. I think he
brings a different energy to Milwaukee that takes them to
the next level because it's gritty. Dame Damian Lillard is
(10:45):
a gritty type of guy. He's a gritty player. He
has he has that that something about him. And I
think that if I were to look at the Milwaukee Bucks,
would it be safe to say the reason why they
struggle at times is because you could basically consider them
not like they kind of I.
Speaker 5 (11:02):
Mean, you can you can take that point. But LeVar Let,
let's look at other things. Damian Lillard does miss games
because injuries. So the eighty two game season, how many
gonna play sixty? So what happens in those other twenty
two he's gonna miss six, He's gonna miss twenty games,
let's say twenty because of injuries. That's what he's death.

The history of what happens has happened in the past,
and so.

Does he get his banged up? Is his body getting
does he have to play as many minutes? Like I
think there's a different scenario that plays out when you're.

On a better team. You know, it's good things that

I didn't even bring up the Clippers.

It's just I like, I like Talkey, but head and shoulders,
you know they're in the penthouse and everybody else is
underneath them. I don't see that. I see teams that
I think the West right here with them.

I think they got the East tied up the minute
Dame Damian Lillard signed to port uh To to the Bucks.
I think they had it tied because they were going
to be They were going to be a favorite anyway.

that played for the team and that position knows the position.

why the you know this is escalated the way that
it has in terms of saying that Robert Salah is

supporting why is he so married to to Zack Wilson?
Why is he so know in on kind of like
protecting him. So I think that that's where the whole
conversation of the whole you know, locker room being divided
is why why is Robert Salah so committed to Zach Wilson.

Here's my theory I'm curious in your.
Speaker 5 (25:18):
Opinion everything like he got many options, but go ahead, okay,
today he doesn't have any options, right, they bring in Simeon, Well,
what's the guy's name?

Who's Trevor Sam And they bring him in. He ain't
got no he don't have no resume. I would say,
he's going to change what's going on there. So here,
you don't have a choice if you're Robert Salah today
to support to support Zach Wilson in terms of trying
to salvage a season that's already slipping away this early on.

But why would you support him in the summer? Why
would you support him in the off season? Why would
you support him going into into training camp? Why wouldn't
you just get rid of him? Like like Joe Nama said,
why didn't you just get rid of him? You know
other people have said get rid of Zach Wilson. My
theory on why he had to support or why he
felt good supporting Zach Wilson and keeping him around was

he was betting he was he was betting on Aaron
Rodgers to be what he needed to be as a player.
I don't think he ever felt like he was going
to have to show the team or show the fans
that he was in with with Zack Wilson or not
because he wasn't going to play. So you can say

face with a guy that was drafted as highs he
was drafted, and you give him the opportunity to either
a develop as a player and maybe possibly two three
years from now he gets back in and plays. Maybe
or you go in a different direction, but you have
the option and you kind of, you know, you supported him.

I think that was the ideal situation.

LeVar was earned under Aaron Rodgers for two years and
let's hope we see a ton of improvement in practice
so that we can feel comfortable moving forward with you
as our quarterback. That was the plan. Obviously that's not
the plan now, and so they wanted to gamble. They

wanted to salvage I believe they wanted to salvage Zach
Wilson because they use the second tick on it. He's
such a high pick that they felt like if he
could sit a couple of years and learn behind Aaron Rodgers,
he'll be a better quarterback. And history has shown if
you're not good right away, if you can sit and
learn behind a great maybe you got a chance. I mean,

Jordan Love is playing solid. Aaron Rodgers did it behind
Brett Favre, and so it's a possibility. That's not the
case now. And so for Zack Wilson, let's just call
it what it is. He planned for his career. He's
not planning to be a starter. He's planning for his career.
That's what he's planned for. Because you're not showing that

you're gonna be a starter, people might even be sure
you can be a backup, because what you're gonna come
in the game and do throw for one hundred and
forty five yards. So he's playing for his career. I
wish he nothing but the best. I don't I know him,
but I don't know him like that. It's just, uh,

this is a dog eat dog profession that we play in. Simple.
They want results and if you can't give them results,
it's gonna be.

Tough for you. All right, let me throw this one
out at you. This is a little bit off the
beaten path.

But while we're talking about playing for your career and
needing results and him not living up to the potential
and Aaron Rodgers, you double down on Aaron Rodgers to
be the reason why you don't have to play Zach
Wilson and allow him to kind of you know developed
as you mentioned.

Well, isn't the guy. We just we just st that
he's not going to be the guy. Absolutely not, all right.

J Cole releases the letter. Y'all know we had to
do this. Y'all know we had to do this. Jake
Cole releases the letter. Colin Kaepernick wants a workout. Colin
Kaepernick is ready, He's prepared. Do you go in this
direction knowing that after Wilson is the reason or you
feel like Zach we on the game.

Colin Kaepernick has not played football in six years, man, Like.
We talked to Sean Watson, who was one of the
better young quarterbacks in the league. Last week was the
best game he played, Yes, it was since he's been back.

Be for Kaepernick to get in the NFL in play like,
you know how hard that will be six years. Your
eyes not used to the speed of the game because
