in the game, like I don't know what else to do.
I'm like, I I got it right, Like I just didn't.

it's frustrating me.

Yeah, Colorado was plus four turnover margin the first half

snow this weekend in the Snow game and October, which
is insane. I'm doing good. I know Cracks excited too,

college basketball season. But three seasons ago it was ridiculous.

after the season was over, that's you know, all right,

this in my entire betting career. So last night Oregon State,

So the kicker gains I don't know, Jeff ten twelve yards,

This is the thing about the PAC twelve and I
got this one right because that is what I'm gonna
miss about conference re alignment, by the way, because this
is you have to learn this all over again, right,
Like when you go to play Arizona or Arizona State
and a night game after like the middle of October,
a lot of ring teams lose, Oregon has to go there,
and a couple would go to Arizona State. We have

cal usc both at home at Arizona State. Then we
have Oregon State. The most scared game I am guys,
is at Arizona State. Like that's a place ranked teams
go to die. And last night was very predictable with
Arizona being Oregon State.

I had Beaves first half. I had Arizona for the game,

They're both in game, right Oh again? Okay, okah, yeah
both were in games. So yeah, maybe I just ticked
at Jonathan Smith and was like, I'm going Arizona.

Okay, but before your Tennessee thing very quickly, because this
would have been okay, Cow's up eleven and a halftime.
It was twenty eight seventeen. Crack. I just listened to
what happened. This is unbelievable. It was twenty eight seventeen
at halftime. I'm watching the last couple of minutes of
the PAC twelve halftime shows on Pack twelve network. I

see the bottom scroll said USC given one extra play
to start the second half. I was like, excuse me,
So I go to social media. The in during halftime,
the refs determine that a that the USC ball carrier
on the final play the first half was actually down
with a second left in the first half.

Oh, so they were getting I needed this also, so
they were gonna give us so to start the second
half when the teams came back out cracked, they gave
USC one final offensive play of the first half.

Speaker 4 (06:36):
Okay. Someone tweeted me saying the live first half line
was cal getting eight and a half points. So if
USC made the kick in the now second half, essentially
the first half score would have been twenty eight to
twenty and CAL would have not covered the first half number.

Right us, he missed the kick, It didn't matter at all.
They missed the freak kick. Didn't matter. Figure it was
a twenty five yard kick too.

Because in the history there ever happened.

How would that have been scored in a sports book,
they would have scored it. I would imagine a halftime
for a win if you had one side, would they
give your money back? Would you take the money back?

Probably not a lot of money in the line for
that game, but like you, books probably just give everyone
a win and just say we're done with it. But like,

Oh wow for what I had yesterday?

Yeah, I had just a random floor to drive ending
in a punt, which most of them did. The punt
was blocked for a sake, say, yeah, that's technically like
down safety, not a punt. They and then they took
it back.

Wow, didn't count as a as a because the punt
has to be actually paid the physical bass to be kicked.

The fine print is if they recover it for a touchdown,
it's a punt. If it results in a safety, it's
technically like turnover slash safety. Like wow, wow's brutal. They
credited me, and then they took it away, and I'm like,
what happened? And then I read the fine print.

final minute. They're gonna go ahead and kick the field goal.

I'm like, wow, okay, good. They go out there. There's
a Kentucky injury, so there's a ten second runoff. Tennessee
didn't have to run another play. They just ran the
clock out. If there's not an injury, Tennessee kicks the
field goal and I probably get home. I've never seen
that before.

let's go with the Vikings against the Packers. I'm really
interested to see what Jordan Love does because the Vikings
blitz like crazy, the highest rate of any team in
the NFL. Jordan Love not great against pressure, not great

against the blitz. He's got to be able to handle that.
I want to see how the Vikings, how they handle success,
because there's this crazy stat where teams the next week
after they play the forty nine Ers, they're brutal. They're
like one in nineteen. So going up against the Packers
seems like a layup. I'm not so sure that's going
to be the case here today I have the Packers.

They are going to be one of my five I
give out later later today. I think this is a
perfect spot for you're buying well in the pack Well, yeah,
you're buying well on the Packers basically, right, they just
lost to the Broncos. This is this is basically the season,
right they don't win this game, this is it like
they're season. They're two and five. I believe after if
they lose, that's it, like they're done. The Vikings off

of a physical mind football game. They win that game,
and now they're now they're I think they're on the
road right there at Green Bay. And I just think
that the Vikings sort of didn't luck into a win
this past weekend, but it was they just were you know,
it was it was an okay winning as the Niners.
Niners just didn't play and once Party got can cuss.
We found out later they made a big difference in

the end result for you know, Party was just a
different quarterback after that, and maybe they win that game.
I just like the Packers in the spot that they're
not The Packers aren't very good. I don't think I'm
just playing a Bilo spot on the Packers that have
to win kind of desperation. It's a Vikings team that
I don't know, that's just okay. I don't I don't
know any it's okay. And so that's why I like
the Pactors here. It will be one of the ones
I give out uh in the in the crack challenge.

Yeah, Jeff, you're You're the only one that I've heard
this week. And I agree with you, by the way,
that that everyone likes Minnesota. God, it seems like every
sharp every square, I say, God, I think you have
to look at the old school division rival here. Listen, Minnesota.
I had them one of the rare sides that I
actually bet on on Monday night. They're you know, being

in Vegas, you get these advantages of these lines. I
had a really good line here in Vegas. H plus
seven even money uh no juice so and I think
they should have won the game, even though the end
it got close there at the at the end, I
think Minnesota was ahead for most of the game. I
think they should have won the game. I know that
that party, the situation were party and and uh in
concussion protocol. Now, but and Jordan Love, he just hasn't

looked like I thought he was gonna look this season.

Last year he played, he played some stepped up when
Rogers went down a little. I thought he was gonna
come in this year and have an unbelievable season. I
actually have futures on both of these teams. I have
over I believe seven and a half wins for the
green Bay Packers and under under I have I have
Minnesota to a long shot peanut bet to win the NFC,

which is is obviously it's going to be a tough,
tough one to win. But yeah, this, like I said,
I just think, and this is a short week two
for Minnesota. I really think that green Bay can can
stay with him here. Look, I look for them in

NFC East over here. We've got the Eagles against Washington.
Washington covered earlier this year at Philly. They're a seven
point home underdog. Today Washington is and one of the

bigger stories this week Philly making a trade. They trade
for former Titan safety Kevin Byard and just seems like
the Ridge get richer man, Howie Roseman working his magic again.
Kevin Byard is a very good player, and they just
traded their former safety Terrell Edmonds in some late round
picks and get a better safety and Kevin Byard. But

(18:21):
don't be surprised if Washington keeps it competitive again. It's
just a divisional rival and Philly's secondary is not great
in terms of past defense. What do you guys think?
You think Washington with the points is the way to
go again here this year.

Speaker 4 (18:39):
This is one I looked at to play this week
as well, But I think maybe my football brain took
over a little bit here. I this game has traditionally
been close, right the last couple of years, and we
know that the Eagles won. I mean the Commanders won
last year in minut football to stop the Eagles streak
of I think nine or ten in a row, right,
it was a surprised to win this year. They played
him close. But I just think Washing it's gone very good.

(19:03):
I think that Sam Howe takes too many sacks, He
gets hit too often. It's a bad matchup in the trenches.
And I think Washington's offensive line is fine. Sam Howe
is not good in the pocket. And I think there's
certainly the idea of fading the Eagles off that big
Dolphins win. That that's I think A way to look
at this game is like you have the Commanders sort

(19:23):
of needing a win. They lost ugly the Giants again
seven points. This has been a close game in recent years.
I stayed away I just there's something about this Commander's
offense I don't like, and Eagles can exploit that. And
Commander sort of had their chance a couple of weeks
ago to win this game and didn't. I like the
Eagles coaching to have to make adjustments right and be

(19:44):
able to do things different in this game. AJ Brown
has played well against Washington in his career as well.
In these matchups. I didn't play it. I just I
thought about it. I just didn't do it. And typically,
you know, crack, you get it plus seven with a
divisional matchup like this, you take it every time. I
didn't play the Eagles either. I just I didn't do it.
It's something about the football side of my brain. Could

get to it, guys.

Yeah, No, this is a team that lost thirty seven
to three I think against the Bills earlier in the season.
Then they come back the next week and almost beat
the Eagles. I mean they if they go for two
is they're supposed to go for two there, they have
a real good shot to beat the Eagles at the end.
So then they were like, Wow, the Washington you know,

they've come back from that Buffalo game. And then they
go home to the Bears and lose forty to twenty.
I think that was a primetime game too. It's like
a Thursday football game, just just embarrassing. And then come
back and beat the falcon This is like the Jekyl
and High team. You know who you're gonna get. Then
they lose to the Giants, and here we are again

(20:49):
the same situation playing the Eagles, only they're at home.
Now they were up and I want almost at the
Vet in Philly, and you know, I'll tell you this
is one of those games that you want to I'm
staying away from, but if anything, I would definitely think
that Philadelphia is not going to overlook them again and

(21:09):
take them pretty serious. And a matter of fact, I
think a couple of the pros did too, because this
was six and a half everywhere a couple days and
a couple of days ago like Wednesday, and some sharp
syndicate money came on in Philly and now we're sitting
at seven. So and this game also got back to
the under. It opened up forty five, forty five and
a half at the two key spots down to forty three.

Now.

Yeah, like I said, I'm staying away from it, but
I wouldn't be surprised if anything happens, But I also
wouldn't be surprised if Philadelphia easily covers the game too.
So we'll see.

Yeah, two things. AJ Brown, Philly wide receiver, five straight
games with at least one hundred and twenty five receiving yards,
which is insane. Obviously, it's tying a record for the
longest drenk in NFL history. Alongside I love this Megatron,
Calvin Johnson and Pat stud still remember, of course, remember

old Stud's still in sixty six there, Jeff.

I do, Yeah, that's as a glint in my parents eyes. No,
I uh uh no, I don't. I do not remember that.
I'm sorry. Unfortunately that was twenty years before I was born.

Yeah, and then, also, like you were saying, Jeff, the
sacks given up by Washington and Sam Howell, forty sacks
given up by Washington already. Think about it, We're going
into week eight. It's given up forty sacks already.

Speaker 4 (22:28):
And it's not again. Sacks are a quarterback stat. That's
like the one the best thing about I like the
guys at PFF. I have no problem with them, but
the best thing they've done I think in the discourse
about football is tell people that sacks are not an
offensive line stat their quarterback staff for the most part.
And of course the offense line gets speed. I mean,
it's an offensive line. You can kill the sacks. But

when you see these forty sacks like this and you
go watch Washington's film, you're like, buddy, throw the ball,
Oh the ball. Yeah, I don't. Eagles, I think are
going to take this handily. And then Rivera, I mean
it feels like he's gonna be one of those guys
that's gonna be looking for a new job and watching
It's gonna have a new coach, a new quarterback. They
just haven't you know, they're like in the worst position

in pro football, which is you're you're good, but yeah, no,
have to win Super Bowl, right, and you haven't found
that quarterback because you keep drafting the middle of the
of the first round. You refuse to sort of rebuild
on the fly or even decide to rebuild, and you're
just stuck in the middle. If they need to have
a year next year where they just get really bad,

and I don't know if they're gonna do.

That real fast. Sam Howe reminds me of a college guy.
I watch college games all the time, and I can't
tell you how many times their quarterback is outside the pocket.
I'm like, just throw it away. It's not there. And routinely,
Garrett Schrader of Syracuse going up against Virginia Tech during
the week, He's like, I could throw it away and

save eight yards, or I could just get sacked. I'll
just get sacked. And I see that with Sam Howell
all the time, and you normally don't see that from
other NFL quarterbacks, not at the same rate as Sam Howell,
not even closed.

get better. They're off of buy which is important here.
I feel like the Niners are off of min night
football game. You know, the health of Niners is important,
as Trent Williams back for this game. Is Christian McCaffrey
getting healthier? Is debo gonna play?

Parties can cuss like all these things. Where you have
the Bengals who are just quietly getting healthier. Right, they're healthier.
They've had two weeks to prepare. I like, I like

second or third read. He's not the same quarterback, and
so I think teams are figuring that out, like let's

just take away everything we can early in the down
and try to make him do a little bit more.

I chose him before I knew Brock was even playing.

when they announced Brock Party was out. That was it.

this Weekday announced on Monday he had a concussinant and

and regression, right, Like, it's very hard if you like

a team in like a future let's say before the season,
and you say, well, their defense was good last year.
Doesn't always you know, like every year, Like the offense
is way more consistent, right, If you have a good offense,
you probably have a good offensive next year and the
next year. Because it's quarterback based, right, and coach based defense,
it's sort of like do you have a tougher schedule
this year? Do you have an injury to a pass rusher?

And like it collapses fast, right, And so none of
us are not having a collapse, but they're just not
as good as last season. And if they're not as
good as last season, plus brock Party is taking a
tiny bit of a step backwards a couple of injuries
in offense, they're not the same football team, right. And
so that's where adding with the Niners, where the Bengals
again healthier. The Bengals are healthier, they're off a by

it's a big if they don't win this game. I mean,
the Ravens win again in Arizona today the Bengals are
out of the North like they're coming back from from
a three game the three game game for the deficit.
So yeah, and then the Bengals as they have to
go to Baltimore a couple weeks. That the Bengals schedule
for the next four weeks, I think it's Niners, Bills,
someone easier and then at Baltimore. So tough stretch here

concerned about run defense because this is a passing league,

that at a high level because they have all the

second year players. Tre McDuffie is great. You know the
Chargers they had, they had that one long touchdown run

defense the NFL, we talked early about regression. Right the
Chiefs just their defense to be average. It's all they need.
Last year was average by the end of the season,

if they're fully healthy, they still might have gotten smacked around.

your corners back with Vic Fangio, you're able to walk

the safeties down. There's a lot you can do defensively
when you've got your two top corners back. They've got
three offensive linemen out. They've got their starting running back

early to be like the Dolphins can't beat anybody good.
