Speaker 2 (00:27):
This is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett mg App. Now we're live from your tailgame. Here's
Brian no Hier, NFL veteran Jeff Schwartz at sports handicapper
from crackwins dot com Bill crack Krackenberger.
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Oh what is going on? Everybody? Welcome in here. We
team of the NFL season. And you know, I feel
like you guys need to laugh over here, you know,
Jeff Schwartz, Bill Krackenberger, I've just the thing. Good morning
to you. Get morning in your world. I mean, that's
performance by the Ducks over there, Jeff very watching an.
Speaker 4 (01:07):
Organ film, just getting you know, getting through my I
watched a little bit of highlights of the of the
bear Down Arizona win last night. I called it upset
last night, so I'll take that one and it uh yeah,
good good good little we. College football, though, has been
for me personally, wagering wise, just like you know when
U c. L A out gains Colorado by two hundred
(01:30):
and fifty yards and doesn't cover a game and Colorados
goes one off it's a touchdown with three minutes left
in the game, like I don't know what else to do.
I'm like, I I got it right, Like I just didn't.
I didn't win, Brian, I didn't win. To make it,
it's frustrating me.
Speaker 1 (01:46):
It's frustrating first half for the Brewers.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Yeah, Colorado was plus four turnover margin the first half
and losing at halftime. Yeah, that's how miss That's how
that game went. But no, I'm good, buddy, I'm I'm
I'm good. It's another weekend of NFL. I't went of
snow this weekend in the Snow game and October, which
is insane. I'm doing good. I know Cracks excited too,
because he's got probably a fat stack of props he's
(02:08):
right to fire on.
Speaker 1 (02:10):
Yeah.
Speaker 5 (02:10):
No, it's actually had a God, I've been really running
sick in college, to be honest with you, So last year,
good really yeah, sick good? Does anyone talk about bad ever?
And this talk?
Speaker 4 (02:22):
I talk about battle the time.
Speaker 5 (02:24):
See we do. I don't ever want to hear no
one say but except for our show, we're very transparent.
Speaker 4 (02:30):
I feel like because the batter the badd better stories
like I could be like yeah before I was four
and one again in the Crack Challenge, Yeah you cares,
No one cares.
Speaker 5 (02:37):
They why do you say that? So last Monday, six
days ago, I just put up something, of course from
the Bronx tail. I put up two click clips and
it just said when when Sonny in the Bronx tail
and the kid Coloduro, Sonny's in the casket and he said,
you're right, Sonny. In the end, look at the people
around your funeral. Nobody cares. All it is. It was
(03:00):
two clips of nobody cares, nobody cares, but no explanation.
It was a blanket statement for everything. It was a
blanket statement for almost everything. Nobody cares. Everyone's doing their
own thing. Listen, you can go. The best example I
can ever give about this is three seasons ago. I
know it was three years ago, but I've won every
(03:21):
college basketball season. But three seasons ago it was ridiculous.
Sixty three percent, which is very, very hard to do
in any sport. Sixty three percent. Yet I had people like,
after the season was over, that's you know, all right,
that's that's okay, But you know, maybe I can get
sixty percent. I mean, okay, okay if you think nobody cares.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
So I've got two bad beat stories for you real fast.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
Here.
Speaker 1 (03:49):
These are new ones for me, brand new. I've had
bad beat stories over the years, but I've never had
this in my entire betting career. So last night Oregon State,
at the end of the half, I need a field God.
They line up for a thirty four yarder, guys, and
Jonathan Smith's like, let's hit him with the fake field goal.
So the kicker gains I don't know, Jeff ten twelve yards,
(04:12):
gets tackled. End of the half. There were two seconds left.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
Okay, not even that, Brian, did you watch the game?
Where you watching the game up to that point? Okay,
they tried the same exact fake on the previous field
goal attempt, but they've got a.
Speaker 1 (04:26):
False start, right, What are we doing? Why are we
doing this again?
Speaker 5 (04:31):
Oregon State?
Speaker 4 (04:32):
Oregon State? Last night, I needed.
Speaker 5 (04:34):
Them to win. I have a bet on a future
on them. So now I'm hearing this and.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
Oregon State lost last night.
Speaker 5 (04:39):
I know teams.
Speaker 4 (04:41):
This is the thing about the PAC twelve and I
got this one right because that is what I'm gonna
miss about conference re alignment, by the way, because this
is you have to learn this all over again, right,
Like when you go to play Arizona or Arizona State
and a night game after like the middle of October,
a lot of ring teams lose, Oregon has to go there,
and a couple would go to Arizona State. We have
(05:02):
cal usc both at home at Arizona State. Then we
have Oregon State. The most scared game I am guys,
is at Arizona State. Like that's a place ranked teams
go to die. And last night was very predictable with
Arizona being Oregon State.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
And this one, this one's brand new also, so I
had Tennessee it was uh.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Youde Biab's first half.
Speaker 1 (05:23):
I had Beaves first half. I had Arizona for the game,
but I had Beeves first.
Speaker 4 (05:27):
That's a tight margin there. You have Beaver's were a favorite,
well was in the first half.
Speaker 1 (05:30):
Two well they were favored by one and a half.
They're both in game, right Oh again? Okay, okah, yeah
both were in games. So yeah, maybe I just ticked
at Jonathan Smith and was like, I'm going Arizona.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
Okay, but before your Tennessee thing very quickly, because this
would have been okay, Cow's up eleven and a halftime.
It was twenty eight seventeen. Crack. I just listened to
what happened. This is unbelievable. It was twenty eight seventeen
at halftime. I'm watching the last couple of minutes of
the PAC twelve halftime shows on Pack twelve network. I
(06:01):
see the bottom scroll said USC given one extra play
to start the second half. I was like, excuse me,
So I go to social media. The in during halftime,
the refs determine that a that the USC ball carrier
on the final play the first half was actually down
with a second left in the first half.
Speaker 6 (06:23):
Oh, so they were getting I needed this also, so
they were gonna give us so to start the second
half when the teams came back out cracked, they gave
USC one final offensive play of the first half.
Speaker 4 (06:36):
Okay. Someone tweeted me saying the live first half line
was cal getting eight and a half points. So if
USC made the kick in the now second half, essentially
the first half score would have been twenty eight to
twenty and CAL would have not covered the first half number.
(06:59):
Right us, he missed the kick, It didn't matter at all.
They missed the freak kick. Didn't matter. Figure it was
a twenty five yard kick too.
Speaker 5 (07:06):
Because in the history there ever happened.
Speaker 4 (07:08):
How would that have been scored in a sports book,
they would have scored it. I would imagine a halftime
for a win if you had one side, would they
give your money back? Would you take the money back?
How does that you just?
Speaker 5 (07:20):
It would have been? It would have been. It would
have been crazy here. It would There's.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Probably not a lot of money in the line for
that game, but like you, books probably just give everyone
a win and just say we're done with it. But like,
that would have been an all time Like what the
heck is happening here?
Speaker 1 (07:37):
They're crazy? I was credited with a win and then
they took it away.
Speaker 4 (07:42):
Oh wow for what I had yesterday?
Speaker 1 (07:44):
Yeah, I had just a random floor to drive ending
in a punt, which most of them did. The punt
was blocked for a sake, say, yeah, that's technically like
down safety, not a punt. They and then they took
it back.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
Wow, didn't count as a as a because the punt
has to be actually paid the physical bass to be kicked.
Speaker 1 (08:07):
The fine print is if they recover it for a touchdown,
it's a punt. If it results in a safety, it's
technically like turnover slash safety. Like wow, wow's brutal. They
credited me, and then they took it away, and I'm like,
what happened? And then I read the fine print.
Speaker 4 (08:26):
Score, you had a live wager on a Florida drive
ending in a punt?
Speaker 3 (08:31):
Yes, wow, a lot.
Speaker 5 (08:34):
He's got some live I'd love to see it.
Speaker 3 (08:37):
Where were you when?
Speaker 5 (08:38):
Say when?
Speaker 1 (08:39):
Yeah, just at the place, just at the place.
Speaker 4 (08:42):
Crack that is. I thought I was degenerator.
Speaker 1 (08:45):
That is last degenerate story for you, real fest. I've
into a whole slate of NFL games. Last one. It's
never happened.
Speaker 4 (08:53):
To me before.
Speaker 1 (08:54):
I'm not even looking at the webcam. I don't want
to see your faces right now. This is me. I
thought this was a safe space. I'm not sure if
it is so. I had Tennessee I needed a field
goal in the final minute. It's a team total in
game thing, and they were going to line up to
kick it. They're ahead by six points. This is the
final minute. They're gonna go ahead and kick the field goal.
(09:14):
I'm like, wow, okay, good. They go out there. There's
a Kentucky injury, so there's a ten second runoff. Tennessee
didn't have to run another play. They just ran the
clock out. If there's not an injury, Tennessee kicks the
field goal and I probably get home. I've never seen
that before.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
Wow, that's about college Stay away from the NFL card today, Brian.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
That's think about college foot time to rally crack.
Speaker 5 (09:40):
I don't want to hear that. Oh yeah, double up,
double up, triple up college football, Martin.
Speaker 4 (09:45):
You don't get that in the NFL as much college football.
That's like a college football thing. Like what we were
just talking about is so college football. Like it's just
it's just NonStop, just nonsense each and every week.
Speaker 1 (10:00):
It really is. It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to
Kickoff presented by bet MGM. We're in the final stretch
to get tickets to horse racing's biggest moment of the year.
The world's best are headed to Santa Anita for the Breeders'
Cup World Championships on November third and fourth. The countdown begins.
Now get tickets today at Breeders Cup dot com. All right,
(10:20):
full slate of NFL Game sixteen this week, So we
get what fourteen today, we get the Monday nighter. But
let's go with the Vikings against the Packers. I'm really
interested to see what Jordan Love does because the Vikings
blitz like crazy, the highest rate of any team in
the NFL. Jordan Love not great against pressure, not great
(10:41):
against the blitz. He's got to be able to handle that.
I want to see how the Vikings, how they handle success,
because there's this crazy stat where teams the next week
after they play the forty nine Ers, they're brutal. They're
like one in nineteen. So going up against the Packers
seems like a layup. I'm not so sure that's going
to be the case here today I have the Packers.
Speaker 4 (11:03):
They are going to be one of my five I
give out later later today. I think this is a
perfect spot for you're buying well in the pack Well, yeah,
you're buying well on the Packers basically, right, they just
lost to the Broncos. This is this is basically the season,
right they don't win this game, this is it like
they're season. They're two and five. I believe after if
they lose, that's it, like they're done. The Vikings off
(11:24):
of a physical mind football game. They win that game,
and now they're now they're I think they're on the
road right there at Green Bay. And I just think
that the Vikings sort of didn't luck into a win
this past weekend, but it was they just were you know,
it was it was an okay winning as the Niners.
Niners just didn't play and once Party got can cuss.
We found out later they made a big difference in
(11:45):
the end result for you know, Party was just a
different quarterback after that, and maybe they win that game.
I just like the Packers in the spot that they're
not The Packers aren't very good. I don't think I'm
just playing a Bilo spot on the Packers that have
to win kind of desperation. It's a Vikings team that
I don't know, that's just okay. I don't I don't
know any it's okay. And so that's why I like
the Pactors here. It will be one of the ones
I give out uh in the in the crack challenge.
Speaker 5 (12:07):
Yeah, Jeff, you're You're the only one that I've heard
this week. And I agree with you, by the way,
that that everyone likes Minnesota. God, it seems like every
sharp every square, I say, God, I think you have
to look at the old school division rival here. Listen, Minnesota.
I had them one of the rare sides that I
actually bet on on Monday night. They're you know, being
(12:28):
in Vegas, you get these advantages of these lines. I
had a really good line here in Vegas. H plus
seven even money uh no juice so and I think
they should have won the game, even though the end
it got close there at the at the end, I
think Minnesota was ahead for most of the game. I
think they should have won the game. I know that
that party, the situation were party and and uh in
concussion protocol. Now, but and Jordan Love, he just hasn't
(12:52):
looked like I thought he was gonna look this season.
Speaker 3 (12:54):
Now.
Speaker 5 (12:55):
Last year he played, he played some stepped up when
Rogers went down a little. I thought he was gonna
come in this year and have an unbelievable season. I
actually have futures on both of these teams. I have
over I believe seven and a half wins for the
green Bay Packers and under under I have I have
Minnesota to a long shot peanut bet to win the NFC,
(13:17):
which is is obviously it's going to be a tough,
tough one to win. But yeah, this, like I said,
I just think, and this is a short week two
for Minnesota. I really think that green Bay can can
stay with him here. Look, I look for them in
a I just want to make sure they're still Can
you still bet them teaser range?
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Yes?
Speaker 5 (13:37):
Yeah, so green Bay is still plus one, so you
could take a six and a half point teaser get
him up to seven and a half on a low
total of forty one and a half. I think green
there's so many good teaser legs this week that they
don't pass the smell test, and so there's so many
things that look so they look so easy. Yes, but
I didn't, you know, I just think green Bay is
(13:58):
probably one of those, one of those legs. But I
think there's even better legs, so we'll get to them
later on. But yeah, Eileen, green Bay in this game.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
Green Bay's got to get off to a better start.
In the first half last four games, they've been brutal
man zero points going last four, zero points against the Saints,
three points against the Lions, three points against the Raiders
on that Monday night game, and then shut out against
Denver last week. They've scored six points in the first
(14:26):
half collectively of the last four games. That's got a change,
and it can change today for whatever everything that we've
laid out here, but man, their starts have been absolutely dreadful.
Speaker 4 (14:38):
Here, very bad. Yeah, ideal.
Speaker 1 (14:42):

Yeah? I think I am. I mean, I'm waiting for
an zero to five week to happen. I won't expect this.
Speaker 5 (15:40):
I've got one in four. I didn't even meet on
the five.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
Whole I've been I've been very clear about this and
the last I've been gambling now for four or five
years A right. I track my NFL plays and my
Pack twelve style because mostly, and of course I wasted
on other things. But I don't track those because I
don't know. Maybe I just don't. But that's what I
give out publicly, right, give out NFL and PAC twelve.
I've always been good in Pac twelve. I sucked this year.
I've been five hundred the NFL. I'm not saying I'm
(16:03):
not again, I'm.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Not like everybody.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
Yeah, like, but I like knowing it and this year
I'm twenty three and ten and two in my super contest, Like, Okay,
I'll take it, but let's uh, let's keep it going.
Speaker 1 (16:15):
Yeah, we'll see if that happens. At the end of
the show, We've got Bill Krackenberger from Crackwins dot com.
I'm Brian No coming up. There's a matchup today of
two teams. One's really good, one stinks the stinky team
covered earlier this year. Can they run it back? That
is on the way. It's Fox Sports Radios Campdown to Kickoff,

all socials at betmgm. Okay, so let's go to the
NFC East over here. We've got the Eagles against Washington.
Washington covered earlier this year at Philly. They're a seven
point home underdog. Today Washington is and one of the
(18:00):
bigger stories this week Philly making a trade. They trade
for former Titan safety Kevin Byard and just seems like
the Ridge get richer man, Howie Roseman working his magic again.
Kevin Byard is a very good player, and they just
traded their former safety Terrell Edmonds in some late round
picks and get a better safety and Kevin Byard. But
(18:21):
don't be surprised if Washington keeps it competitive again. It's
just a divisional rival and Philly's secondary is not great
in terms of past defense. What do you guys think?
You think Washington with the points is the way to
go again here this year.
Speaker 4 (18:39):
This is one I looked at to play this week
as well, But I think maybe my football brain took
over a little bit here. I this game has traditionally
been close, right the last couple of years, and we
know that the Eagles won. I mean the Commanders won
last year in minut football to stop the Eagles streak
of I think nine or ten in a row, right,
it was a surprised to win this year. They played
him close. But I just think Washing it's gone very good.
(19:03):
I think that Sam Howe takes too many sacks, He
gets hit too often. It's a bad matchup in the trenches.
And I think Washington's offensive line is fine. Sam Howe
is not good in the pocket. And I think there's
certainly the idea of fading the Eagles off that big
Dolphins win. That that's I think A way to look
at this game is like you have the Commanders sort
(19:23):
of needing a win. They lost ugly the Giants again
seven points. This has been a close game in recent years.
I stayed away I just there's something about this Commander's
offense I don't like, and Eagles can exploit that. And
Commander sort of had their chance a couple of weeks
ago to win this game and didn't. I like the
Eagles coaching to have to make adjustments right and be
(19:44):
able to do things different in this game. AJ Brown
has played well against Washington in his career as well.
In these matchups. I didn't play it. I just I
thought about it. I just didn't do it. And typically,
you know, crack, you get it plus seven with a
divisional matchup like this, you take it every time. I
didn't play the Eagles either. I just I didn't do it.
It's something about the football side of my brain. Could
(20:06):
get to it, guys.
Speaker 5 (20:07):
Yeah, No, this is a team that lost thirty seven
to three I think against the Bills earlier in the season.
Then they come back the next week and almost beat
the Eagles. I mean they if they go for two
is they're supposed to go for two there, they have
a real good shot to beat the Eagles at the end.
So then they were like, Wow, the Washington you know,
(20:28):
they've come back from that Buffalo game. And then they
go home to the Bears and lose forty to twenty.
I think that was a primetime game too. It's like
a Thursday football game, just just embarrassing. And then come
back and beat the falcon This is like the Jekyl
and High team. You know who you're gonna get. Then
they lose to the Giants, and here we are again
(20:49):
the same situation playing the Eagles, only they're at home.
Now they were up and I want almost at the
Vet in Philly, and you know, I'll tell you this
is one of those games that you want to I'm
staying away from, but if anything, I would definitely think
that Philadelphia is not going to overlook them again and
(21:09):
take them pretty serious. And a matter of fact, I
think a couple of the pros did too, because this
was six and a half everywhere a couple days and
a couple of days ago like Wednesday, and some sharp
syndicate money came on in Philly and now we're sitting
at seven. So and this game also got back to
the under. It opened up forty five, forty five and
a half at the two key spots down to forty three.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
Now.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
Yeah, like I said, I'm staying away from it, but
I wouldn't be surprised if anything happens, But I also
wouldn't be surprised if Philadelphia easily covers the game too.
So we'll see.
Speaker 1 (21:40):
Yeah, two things. AJ Brown, Philly wide receiver, five straight
games with at least one hundred and twenty five receiving yards,
which is insane. Obviously, it's tying a record for the
longest drenk in NFL history. Alongside I love this Megatron,
Calvin Johnson and Pat stud still remember, of course, remember
(22:01):
old Stud's still in sixty six there, Jeff.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
I do, Yeah, that's as a glint in my parents eyes. No,
I uh uh no, I don't. I do not remember that.
I'm sorry. Unfortunately that was twenty years before I was born.
Speaker 1 (22:13):
Yeah, and then, also, like you were saying, Jeff, the
sacks given up by Washington and Sam Howell, forty sacks
given up by Washington already. Think about it, We're going
into week eight. It's given up forty sacks already.
Speaker 4 (22:28):
And it's not again. Sacks are a quarterback stat. That's
like the one the best thing about I like the
guys at PFF. I have no problem with them, but
the best thing they've done I think in the discourse
about football is tell people that sacks are not an
offensive line stat their quarterback staff for the most part.
And of course the offense line gets speed. I mean,
it's an offensive line. You can kill the sacks. But
(22:49):
when you see these forty sacks like this and you
go watch Washington's film, you're like, buddy, throw the ball,
Oh the ball. Yeah, I don't. Eagles, I think are
going to take this handily. And then Rivera, I mean
it feels like he's gonna be one of those guys
that's gonna be looking for a new job and watching
It's gonna have a new coach, a new quarterback. They
just haven't you know, they're like in the worst position
(23:10):
in pro football, which is you're you're good, but yeah, no,
have to win Super Bowl, right, and you haven't found
that quarterback because you keep drafting the middle of the
of the first round. You refuse to sort of rebuild
on the fly or even decide to rebuild, and you're
just stuck in the middle. If they need to have
a year next year where they just get really bad,
(23:31):
and I don't know if they're gonna do.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
That real fast. Sam Howe reminds me of a college guy.
I watch college games all the time, and I can't
tell you how many times their quarterback is outside the pocket.
I'm like, just throw it away. It's not there. And routinely,
Garrett Schrader of Syracuse going up against Virginia Tech during
the week, He's like, I could throw it away and
(23:53):
save eight yards, or I could just get sacked. I'll
just get sacked. And I see that with Sam Howell
all the time, and you normally don't see that from
other NFL quarterbacks, not at the same rate as Sam Howell,
not even closed.
Speaker 5 (24:07):
Hey, guys, you know, for the listeners on the show too,
I will do that. Don't mean to be rude, but
I'll rudely interrupt sometimes because, let me tell you, this
is a sports betting show. So when I see a
major line move.
Speaker 1 (24:19):
We'll get to it. Crack, we'll get to it. Right here,
We're getting right to it.
Speaker 5 (24:22):
Well, there's another one. There was another one too.
Speaker 1 (24:24):
Yeah, mine move another left in right.
Speaker 5 (24:26):
This one. This one is probably the most shocking to me,
to be honest with you, is the Chargers just now.
I really thought Chicago money was gonna come in at
some point. No Chargers minus nine and a half minus
twenty at one of the sharpest sports books in the
world that make the lines out here move the full
point from eight and a half to nine and a
half plus juice. I just want to let people know,
(24:46):
like in the end CLV closing line value by the
time the game kicks off, if you get the best
line long term, you're gonna be a winner. You're gonna
beat the fifty two point three eight percent that you
need to win. So NFL side A really tough to beat.
This really shows me a lot. We're gonna go over
this game later, but I just can't believe. I did
a podcast earlier in this week with with Derek Stevens,
(25:09):
the owner of the Circa here in Las Vegas. He
owned Circa owns two other casinos too, The d and
the Golden Gate. So I did a show with him
for forty five minutes, him and I and uh it
just what happens. He showed me, like how what kind
of bets they get at game time? Like they get
they take six figure bets at game time. And again,
(25:29):
you know, I was shocked to see there they took
a six figure bet on Tampa on Tampa Bay. Uh
and they lost. They lost it. They lost that bet.
So uh, you know, when you're sitting with a casino
owner and you can see that kind of stuff pretty cool.
So for them to move this game like this, they
just took a big bet on the Chargers. And again,
sorry interrupt, that will happen throughout the season. I want
people to know what the what the line was in.
(25:49):
But I think Brian, you said you're gonna go into
the next game that we're going to talk about.
Speaker 1 (25:53):
Yeah, I lo, yeah, yeah, we gotta get I love
Oh sorry, sorry about that. Yeah, we got Isaac's low
and Crown the man, the myth, the gambling legend. Do
I have that right?
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Yeah? For losing my money?
Speaker 8 (26:09):
Sure?
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Sure.
Speaker 1 (26:09):
Look arrest of are you betting Florida punt flashbats over
there that end in safety.
Speaker 9 (26:16):
Here's your lock of the day. Find out what I'm
picking and then pick the opposite. You will win every time.
We got one win apiece in the World Series thanks
to the exploits of Arizona Diamondbacks hurler Merril Kelly last
night in Game two. He went seven innings, allowing just
one run on three hits, with nine strikeouts and no
walks as The Diamondbacks defeated the Texas Rangers nine to one,
(26:39):
so the series indeed tied and one. In college football
on Saturday night, the Arizona Wildcats knocked off eleventh ranked
Oregon State twenty seven to twenty four. Georgia Tech rallied
from ten down with ten forty one to play to
knock off seventeenth rank North Carolina forty six to forty two.
Third ranked Ohio State a twenty four to ten win
(26:59):
at wiscon and Trevion Henderson ran for one sixty two
Marvin Harrison Junior six catches for one hundred and twenty
three yards. Fifth ranked Washington won for the fifteenth consecutive time.
They were victorious at Stanford forty two to thirty three,
four more touchdown passes for Michael Petticks junior, number twenty
three UCLA had seven sacks, and the Bruins twenty eight
(27:20):
to sixteen triumph over Colorado and number nineteen Air Forces
thirty to thirteen win at Colorado State featured the most
unique penalty of college football's Saturday action.
Speaker 3 (27:34):
Listen for the play.
Speaker 2 (27:36):
I've worked on my conduct on the Colorraaido State bench.
Speaker 4 (27:42):
Well, you please will be audio prese refrained for throwing
snowballs will continue.
Speaker 3 (27:48):
To cost Colorado State.
Speaker 9 (27:51):
Colorado State got penalized because its fans kept pelting the
air force bench with snowballs. There's your most unique penalty
in college football on Saturday.
Speaker 4 (28:03):
Back to you guys.
Speaker 1 (28:04):

Speaker 1 (28:35):
All right, ma man. Christian Cipolini, BETMGM Trading manager joins
us here. Christian, good morning man. Any wow bets meaning
large dollar amounts or where you say wow, you're backing
that side or that total or anything like that stand
out to you here today?
Speaker 10 (28:52):
Yeah, I mean we did just take a big bet
on the Jets money line, which is something that I
rarely see. So that one's always pretty expected. It's the
first time this season that the Jets have been favorites,
and so far we got people that like them against
the Giants.
Speaker 4 (29:06):
Today, it doesn't appear there's been much movement on the
Chiefs Broncos total with the suspected weather. Are you surprised
that people just haven't come in and hit that under
it pretty hard?
Speaker 10 (29:19):
Yeah, I mean sometimes those can be a little bit overblown,
So I'm not really sure if we've maybe seen a
little bit of that. You know, a lot of times
these snow games, the total starts shopping, but that it
drops a little bit too far. And I haven't seen
the exact report here, but yeah, I mean, we're obviously
getting some underaction as people see it, but but some
of that has been a bit corrected in the market.
Speaker 5 (29:42):
Hi Bill Kracherberg here, You know, I we get this
insights from John Ewing every week. I want to just
see if this is still amongst the most bet teams
handle it says, why is it actually know? Wow? It
says most bet teams tickets and handle, which doesn't happen
a lot, doesn't doesn't mit match up a lot. The
Chiefs and the Eagles are they still to your big
(30:03):
exposures here where that they're they're the big teams that
you'll be rooting against today.
Speaker 10 (30:08):
Yeah, yeah, those two. I mean it seems like about
every week we say this, but yeah, Chiefs and the Eagles,
and then also this week the Ravens because they're playing
the Cardinals. So usually whoever's playing the Cardinals is also
the other team to be a ton of liability on
did you.
Speaker 5 (30:21):
Just get hit on the Chargers? And you guys want
to to you guys were one of the first books
to go to nine and a half here on the
Charger game where that did that just come in when
we were on air, so it didn't really get a
chance to look yet.
Speaker 10 (30:30):
Yeah, I'm looking at it now. I saw it moving,
so I don't exactly know what the cause the team
to move there. I'm sure that's what happened, but yeah,
I was on what they able to have?
Speaker 5 (30:39):
This will looks like it's head into ten actually so interesting.
Speaker 10 (30:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Yeah, how about the primetime games here, Christian, not marquee matchups.
What type of volume are you seeing with Bears, Chargers, Raiders, Lions.
Speaker 10 (30:54):
Yeah, I think this is going to change by the
time we get the game time, but I had to
do a double take because as we weren't taking more
money me on the Bears, you know, before I got
here earlier. I'm not sure what just happened to make
that line move, but I didn't expect that to happen.
I think that's probably still some early money. I don't
think the public's got into that game that I imagine
by the time we get there, we're gonna we're gonna
end up be rooting for the Bears. At the moment,
(31:15):
you know, we're pretty good at the fucking year.
Speaker 4 (31:19):
It feels like it's going to be a teaser day
with with a lot of these numbers. Are you guys
seen a lot of action on teasers. It just seems
to be a lot of candidates that people are gonna
are gonna throw in there.
Speaker 10 (31:30):
Yeah, yeah, exactly. Dolphins, Eagles, Chiefs, Ravens, those are gonna
be the big ones on the tickets and then probably
into Sunday night too with the Chargers. This is definitely
a big week for those, especially with some of these
these teams that people like that they just keep betting
on Eagles every week, Dolphin, any pretty much anyone is
playing the Patriots Dolphins looks good too. We'll need one
(31:52):
of them to get beat. Usually, if one of those
teams can get beat, will end up being a good weekend.
Speaker 4 (31:55):
For the book.
Speaker 5 (31:56):
This is a rare week that I really love teasers,
but I'm trying to I try to stay away from
because of the juice. When I first started betting teasers
for a decade, I laid zero juice and then it
was a dollar ten, so I had six point even
teasers at five or six shops, and then it went
to a dollar ten, and now they're just this place
is in Vegas here at charge a dollar forty, so
(32:19):
it's not like it used to be. No, But I
think even Detroit tomorrow night, Wow, that's that's a game.
It just doesn't pass the smell test either. And I
just said it earlier. It looks too easy to tease
down Detroit down through the key numbers of seven and
three down to under under the three to the two.
(32:39):
Vegas just is terrible. They're terrible. And even I think, uh,
the Detroit is just going to come back with a
vengeance this week. So I don't know, how do you guys,
how did to Jeff's question, how do you guys put
yourself in a position where you can avoid that teaser money.
Speaker 4 (32:58):
You know.
Speaker 5 (32:59):
I guess you just read to have to raise the juice.
But I would think the books are losing money this
year on teasers, you know, for the first seven weeks.
Am I correct by saying.
Speaker 10 (33:07):
That it's a little bit tough to say because every
now and like this this Raiders lines one. Uh, you know,
it usually just takes one of those games every couple
of weeks on a big prime time to get upset.
That really just ends up, you know, over the season,
over correcting for ourselves. So while some weeks it might
not be good, as long as as long as we
get one of them every now and then, it really
(33:29):
ends up working out on our page.
Speaker 5 (33:30):
Oh yeah, I'm not getting no collection bucket out for you,
that's true.
Speaker 1 (33:35):
Hey, Christian, thanks for the time, man. Enjoy Week eight.
We'll catch you soon.
Speaker 5 (33:39):
Thanks for having me there.

Speaker 1 (34:41):
Okay, we each have a selection. We pull everything together
for a bigger payout. Crack. We'll start with you. What
are you thinking, man?
Speaker 5 (34:48):
Give me one of the garbage teams, Carolina plus three
and a half over in Houston. You know they gotta
get a victory here sooner or later. But I mean
there's more reasons than that. Yeah, So I like Carolina
in this game. The hook really makes it a bigger
play for me. So it was three three and a half,
three three and a half nowns prior three and a
(35:09):
half almost everywhere. Now give me, give me Carolina.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
I was driving by the stadium this morning. I live
in Charlotte, by the way, and I drive to the stadium.
Was come back from the mountains, and you wouldn't even
know there was a game happening like four hours after
I drove by. It's like this, it's like to be dead.
Speaker 1 (35:24):
Wait, you woke up and you visited visited the mountains?
Is that what you no?
Speaker 4 (35:28):
I drove back from the mountains. In the mountains, it's
the weekends. I was driving back.
Speaker 1 (35:32):
How are the mountains?
Speaker 4 (35:33):
By the way, It was fine. I mean, it's funny
because like my buddy who live in Salt Lake City
that doesn't like that called the mountains because like it's
the highest elevation is like twenty eight hundred feet.
Speaker 1 (35:44):
It's like that's a hill, that's a speed bump.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
It's is Chimney Rock. It's nice. There's a river, you
know river there the kids like to just play in
the water. Is free? What about kids? I know, crack
you don't have kids. I believe, Brian, you.
Speaker 5 (35:56):
Can afford kids.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
I've seen how much have you wager pull someone back
a little bit? You can afford kids. Kids have no
feel for temperature of water. They just do not care.
They do not care. I don't know what age you
start being sensitive about the temperature of water. This river, Like,
we went on this hike up the mountain right, and
(36:20):
I came. A couple of adults came back, and I
used the river to ice my legs so it wouldn't
hurt today. That's what I did. Okay, Wow, I did,
I was, I did. I did like a cold I
just stood there with I pulled my shorts up. I
got about halfway up my my thigh. It's all I
wanted was my knees and my ankles in there and like.
But my kids played in it like for hours this weekend.
(36:40):
They do not care whatsoever.
Speaker 1 (36:42):
So it reminds me of my nephews. They would swim
all the time. Their lips would be blue. They're turning colors.
They don't care, don't care.
Speaker 4 (36:49):
It's our job as parents to like watch to make
sure they don't die in the situation when they're too cold,
like guys, come on, let's do Okay, not enough of that,
all right, I'm gonna take the one I've liked the most.
I hate I hate myself for doing this. It's like
I normal, I don't really like. Give me the Dolphins
my mins eight and a half here. I think the
(37:12):
Patriots aren't very good still, like last weekend they beat
the Bills. The Dolphins have struggled in two games this year.
They have been two games on the road against physical
football teams. The Dolphins are not that the Patriots are
not that. Ramsey is back today. He tweeted out He's
coming back today as well as they add a piece
(37:33):
how the Dolphins gonna have a picture, gonna move the ball?
Speaker 5 (37:36):
Like?
Speaker 4 (37:36):
I don't know if like I think that the Dolphins
are one of those teams that you wager on when
they're playing a bad football team because they're gonna they're
gonna smash bad football teams. And I'm Tygreek kill mamm
not playing today, I don't but to me doesn't even matter.
I think the Dolphins just smash the Patriots get back
to their winning ways, and that's kind of the end
of it. So I think the Dolphins here, I don't
(37:56):
like myself for falking a big favorite like this, but
I think a lot of people on the pay day right,
it's a it's a public sharp side.
Speaker 5 (38:02):
Yes, it's definitely a sharp side. Yeah, but you've brought
up a good point road thing there.
Speaker 4 (38:07):
But I just don't it's not my normal to play.
But I just have been all the Dolphins this week.
I don't know why.
Speaker 5 (38:12):
Yeah, I actually there's a couple of nines in town
here that that look pretty appetizing. But all right, let's
see what Brian and Kannad did this platter.
Speaker 1 (38:21):
Okay, you guys tell me, but uh, I like the
Falcons Titans first half under. I'm gonna take under seventeen
and a half. I don't expect a whole lot of fireworks.
We got Will Levis's first NFL start, Atlanta's played good defense,
and then you look at that Titan secondary not very good.
But you're going up against Desmond. Ritter to me, under
(38:44):
seventeen and a half, I just checked be a winning line.
Speaker 5 (38:48):
You're right, bet MGM has that good, good pick, Brian.
I agree with that pick, by the way.
Speaker 1 (38:52):
Thank you good They better cash.
Speaker 5 (38:56):
That has seventeen and a half. Bet MGM. Yeah, that's
a really good line. Yep, they got it.
Speaker 1 (39:02):
Yeah, it seems to make sense, right. I hate these
things that make all the sense in the world and
then don't hit, so it's got a hit.
Speaker 4 (39:08):
Yeah, that's one of those games where I used to
just auto bet Mike rabel Is like a home dog.
But with Will Levis it's like, oh, because I don't
know the falcons are any good. I've been on this
all year and then it will But Will Levis's.
Speaker 1 (39:22):
You love This is a passing yardage prop one F
six and as.
Speaker 4 (39:27):
Straight under don't care under Oh wow, I'm going my
my props later.
Speaker 1 (39:32):
How low would it have to get for you to
say I gotta take the over?
Speaker 4 (39:35):
Maybe like one hundred and twelve.
Speaker 1 (39:38):
Twelve has got it all right? Coming up next, big
line movement on this game. A lot of mixed money.
We will get to it. It's one of the matchups
of the week. Here on Countdown to Kickoff. Ah, yes,
good morning, welcome in just under two hours until kickoff.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by
Bett MGM, and we're brought to you by Progressive Insurance.
(40:01):
Progressive makes bundling easy and affordable. Get a multi policy
discount by combining your motorcycle, RV, boat, ATV and more
all your protection in one place. Bundle and save at
Progressive dot Com. Crack. This is another game that you
talked about with the line movement. It's up, down, it's
everywhere in between. Its Bengals and forty nine Ers. Right
(40:21):
now at BETMGM it's down to four and a half.
The forty nine Ers are favored by four and a half.
Brock Purty is gonna go. Brock Purty was in concussion protocol,
so it seemed like he might not be cleared. He's
been cleared and so he's gonna go.
Speaker 5 (40:37):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, get the line moved the other way amazingly. Yeah.
Like there's actually a couple three and a halfs on
the screen too, So I'll tell you what. You have
to be a shopper. You really have to shop lines.
You have to have multiple outs. So it's three and
a half. You can get four and a half at
bet MGM, one of the only four and a half
still out there. I lean Cincinnati in this game, even
(40:59):
though perty's going with not a healthy party, and you
know what, they have a good they're they're listen, They're
they're back off. You know, he was a starting quarterback
in the league. Is not such a giant fall off.
I guess you know he is, but he isn't. So
one thing about san fran They're very thin at backups
across their whole squad. So it's a it's a team
(41:22):
that listened. Everyone thought that san fran was a giant
favorite to win the Super Bowl, like way too. I
would have bet to know if I could have laid
what the most you could have taken at any sportsbook. Actually,
after like week three, everyone just had san fran winning
the Super Bowl. They're like I've seen some places like
three to one, just crazy. So now they're coming back
(41:45):
down to life a little a little less here, and
you know, they they lost a couple of games, probably
shouldn't have lost both of them, of course, but I
think that I think Minnesota was the right side in
the in the game last week, this particular game, I
kind of lean dog here. I lean the dog here
because I just think in this situation, the game might
(42:06):
mean a little more even though San Franz just lost
to and I think may need this game a little
bit more. You know now you're getting some movement back now.
It's amazing. As we're talking live, minus four and a
half's are creeping back up on the screen in front
of me, the totals going over from forty three's now
they're all forty four's now going back over a little bit,
(42:27):
a little bit. But yeah, I like to break in
the show. I know it's kind of rude. Sorry guys,
Sorry to my co host. Is sort of the people
out there, well, you guys will be happy. Actually, when
I see a big line move moving like this, I
like to let everyone know this way, maybe they're they're
slow moving, bookmaker or someone can you can grab the hook, which,
like I said, you could grab four and a half
out there. But you know, again, it's one of those
(42:49):
peanup bets. Nothing crazy. The NFL sides are all peanut
bets to me anyway, So there you have it.
Speaker 1 (42:54):
It was crazy to see the Niners defense struggle so
badly last week where they gave up three hundred and
seventy eight yards to Kirk Cousins a couple of touchdown passes.
That's without justin Jefferson. I'm not disagreeing with you, Crak.
We all know it's a week to week lead in
the NFL to week y Yeah, and the Bengals have
been a good example of that, where one week they
(43:15):
might look awful, the next week they look a lot better.
Hard to peg that team. But how about you, Jeff,
what are you seeing in this one? Brock perty two
shaky performances and some injuries. Still no Debo, No Trent Williams,
what do you see in this one?
Speaker 4 (43:29):
I see a Bengals team that has starting a rounds
of the team we've seen the past couple of years. Right, slow, start,
get better. They're off of buy which is important here.
I feel like the Niners are off of min night
football game. You know, the health of Niners is important,
as Trent Williams back for this game. Is Christian McCaffrey
getting healthier? Is debo gonna play?
Speaker 5 (43:49):
Brock?
Speaker 4 (43:49):
Parties can cuss like all these things. Where you have
the Bengals who are just quietly getting healthier. Right, they're healthier.
They've had two weeks to prepare. I like, I like
the coaching staff given two weeks to prepare. I feel
like we sort of the book's not out on party,
but if you make him sort of wait for his
second or third read. He's not the same quarterback, and
so I think teams are figuring that out, like let's
(44:10):
just take away everything we can early in the down
and try to make him do a little bit more.
I'm with you in the Bengals, like I have in
my contest this week and my picks this week for
that kind of the reasons we laid out. I actually
I chose him before I knew Brock was even playing.
I was fine with that with Brock Or I mean
the line, the line moved two points, I think with
when they announced Brock Party was out. That was it.
(44:32):
Like it didn't even really move right Crack. I think
this Weekday announced on Monday he had a concussinant and
moved from six and five and a half to four
and a half to four. Me it barely even moved.
Then the announcement of Party coming back shot some money
back the other direction. I mean it's it's you know,
most quarterbacks are out six points, right, seven points starting
quarterback here, you got two points. I mean that tells
(44:54):
you how much I feel about about Brock Party.
Speaker 5 (44:57):
Yeah, I agree, I agree, this is but like there
is you right, some quarterbacks are worth that many points.
Six points. This was literally a two and a half
point move. And now it's kind of settling back at
four and a half. And that's you know, it's it's
for at the Sharp sports book. The two sports books,
originating sports books that I know control the market are
(45:18):
both at four still. So yeah, this is not what
you would think a starting quarterback respect that he would get.
He's back in there. But like Bryan said, debos out,
you have you have some you have some injuries here
on on both sides. But and now Burrow, you know,
he's probably as close as to one hundred percent. Did
you guys hear that that that you know, I believe
(45:39):
it should be a big game for him. I think,
you know, for his season. So let's see what happens
for their season.
Speaker 1 (45:45):
I think he's gonna have to throw it a lot
because that running game has just not been reliable. I
can't imagine Joe Mixon having a great data.
Speaker 4 (45:51):
That's what he always does. That's that's their offense is kind.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
Of that's what it is.
Speaker 4 (45:56):
It's gonna been that way for a while now. And
so and you're on the road and it's good, you know,
good team. I think the Niners defense is still good,
but clearly just not as good as last season. And again,
this is the hard part about defense guys in the NFL,
is that there's a lot of year to year variant
and regression, right, Like, it's very hard if you like
(46:17):
a team in like a future let's say before the season,
and you say, well, their defense was good last year.
Doesn't always you know, like every year, Like the offense
is way more consistent, right, If you have a good offense,
you probably have a good offensive next year and the
next year. Because it's quarterback based, right, and coach based defense,
it's sort of like do you have a tougher schedule
this year? Do you have an injury to a pass rusher?
(46:39):
And like it collapses fast, right, And so none of
us are not having a collapse, but they're just not
as good as last season. And if they're not as
good as last season, plus brock Party is taking a
tiny bit of a step backwards a couple of injuries
in offense, they're not the same football team, right. And
so that's where adding with the Niners, where the Bengals
again healthier. The Bengals are healthier, they're off a by
(47:00):
it's a big if they don't win this game. I mean,
the Ravens win again in Arizona today the Bengals are
out of the North like they're coming back from from
a three game the three game game for the deficit.
So yeah, and then the Bengals as they have to
go to Baltimore a couple weeks. That the Bengals schedule
for the next four weeks, I think it's Niners, Bills,
someone easier and then at Baltimore. So tough stretch here
(47:23):
for them. They have to win this one.
Speaker 1 (47:24):
They got a tough schedule, there's no doubt. How about
another one of the interesting games, the Rams at the Cowboys. Yeah,
and Marquee names here obviously. How about this? So Sean McVay,
the Rams head coach, he and his wife had their
baby this week. Yeah, very very cool. So the Rams
put out a tweet where it said la Rams transactions
(47:48):
delivered Jordan John McVeagh and then McVeigh joked at his
press conference on Wednesday, he said, once you really dive
into the tape of the Cowboys defense, you're thinking, Wow,
maybe I should have stayed at the host Spittle is
what he said. Obviously, you got to keep Matthew Stafford clean.
It's that Rams O line against that Cowboys pass rush,
(48:10):
and you don't have He's not Lamar back there. You
gotta keep Stafford clean, give him some time. If you
give them time, he can do some damage. But will
he have that time? That's the question today for them.
Speaker 4 (48:20):
You know, I have no feel in this game. I
really don't. People are gonna tease the heck out of
the Cowboys. I just wouldn't if I were. If I
were you, I just wouldn't put him in a teaser.
They don't feel trustworthy like ever the Cowboys do. If
if Stafford is upright in this game, the Rams are
going to cover because they could throw the ball and
(48:41):
the Cowboys pass defense without, isn't it. The Cowboys defense
is sort of built one way. They're just much better
when they're ahead. When they're ahead and they're able to
run the ball on offense and then rush the passer
on defense, they're just a much better football team, right.
(49:02):
And this is even a game where I feel like
if the Cowboys get up like fourteen points, you just
take the Cowboys at that point, like whatever the number is,
I thought, that's the Cowboys are best at. If this
game is closed, man, the Rams is gonna be in it.
So I have no feel for what I said I
would take here. I just know that the Rams can
block them up. They're gonna have a chance to win
this game.
Speaker 5 (49:22):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, And they the Cowboys have been really
inconsistent this year. I don't know what to thinking. I
have some big futures on them for some big money, so,
you know, And the Rams are arrested here, No, actually
they actually the Cowboys are arrested this week. But I'll
just tell you I am not laying points in this game,
(49:45):
even though it's home and Jeff just just just to
let you guys know something. Jeff just says, absolutely correct.
I don't like teasing seven point games anyway. If a
game seven, I don't think I've ever bet a teaser
that was at seven bringing them down to one. It's
got to be over the seven. Uh, you know for
me to go through the key numbers, there's this, there's
(50:06):
two six and a halfs on the screens. One of
the six and a half is that the originating book
with sharp book takes six figure bets. So I'll tell you,
if anything, I would actually lean the Rams here with
the with with the seven points. I know they've they've
been they've been inconsistent too, I guess really they've been
losing the last couple with two of three games. And
(50:29):
but I tell you, this is one of those games
where I just got a root for my future and
stay away from the game itself. It opened up five,
by the way, went to six and a half quickly
with a bet, and then went to seven, and it
stayed about seven. Then there's literally literally like ten of
twelve on my screen. Are are at seven right now? Uh,
this this is a game that I am staying away from.
Speaker 4 (50:49):
Though the teaser thing is interesting because, like I I
am not a fan of teasing most favorites, like at
any point unless they're like the Chiefs that win every
game but sort of sometimes don't cover the spread. I'm like, okay,
I'll put them in it. I'll put them in a
tease right to just win, you know, win by under three,
like you know what I mean. Like, but like the
Cowboys don't feel trustworthy of putting a teaser right a
(51:11):
lot like a lot of times going like even the
Eagles today, I almost rather take Washington plus the thirteen
or fourteen points in the teaser do the other direction, right, Like,
I feel like getting more points is always the either.
Speaker 5 (51:23):
Way to go road road favorites to I hate.
Speaker 4 (51:26):
Oh yeah, but like I put the Chiefs in a
couple of teachers because the Chiefs are gonna win this game.
They win, I didn't even know what I won.
Speaker 5 (51:32):
I did tease them. I actually did tease them.
Speaker 4 (51:34):
So if you're through the one team that I feel
comfortable as a favorite teasing, Yeah, I think the Dolphins
are interesting today to tease down, you know, down from
eight into like below seven and three. But a lot
of times I just don't like you're right about that
crack the favorite thing. I to just take home dogs
and tease all of them, Like.
Speaker 5 (51:51):
I'd rather go from two and a half to eight
and a half. Yes on a low total like the
Atlanta or or the Atlanta game Atlanta or Tennis Giants
tease the home team through the key numbers rather than
tease a road favorite. So yeah, very good. Hey.

Jeff Jeff Schwartz. I'm finding the football guys.
Speaker 4 (52:45):
No, he does that once a month. That's okay.
Speaker 5 (52:47):
Oh you know, okay, Sorry, Rich, Yeah, I bet on that.
Speaker 1 (52:52):
As soon as I said it, I was like, why
does that sound wrong?
Speaker 5 (52:55):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (52:55):
Because it is, because it's completely wrong. It's Jeff Schwartz,
eight year NFL veteran. Rich was in the league. I
don't know about five or six years. You know, you
get to thirteen fourteen years were combine right there.
Speaker 4 (53:08):
Yeah, we played about the same time, and we do
the same store of shows on the station. We look
sort of alike. I get it makes sense.
Speaker 1 (53:16):
We got Bill Krackenberger from Crackwings dot com. I'm Brian No.
I was thinking about saying something about your ducks, Jeff,
and that's where the Ornberger thing came out of nowhere.
I was like, well, he's saying one side of my
brain was thinking something. The OtherSide.
Speaker 4 (53:29):
Guess Rich is a Penn State guy, but he covers
Tonio State. Now, yeah, ducks, man. I'll tell you what
I We talked on my bare Bets podcast with the
Chris Filica about Oregon thirty five to one. A couple
guys grab tickets for national Championship. I don't think they're
gonna win the championship. That's a good number because that's
gonna come flying down. Now.
Speaker 1 (53:48):
Hey, both Mix is right back in the Heisman race.
Speaker 4 (53:51):
Dude. He played really well yesterday, like his best pass
was dropped. It's to me an a fun last month.
We've already have a month left. That's it college football.
Speaker 5 (54:03):
Are we halfway through the NFL Week eight?
Speaker 4 (54:06):
Yeah? Goes Goes by fast culture balls. It still feels.
It feels like Georgia when they want to play, is
going to beat anybody. Michigan can't win a playoff game,
so I don't know about them. And then it's like
wide open right Oregon, Washington, Florida.
Speaker 1 (54:19):
State, Washington the last couple of years.
Speaker 4 (54:22):
Yeah, they're they got. I don't know if Oregon broke
them or something. It's it's one of the long times I
can remember, like a loss of a kind of a
robbery game like that where two weeks later the loser
is considered better. I mean, like it's an odd thing
right now. So yeah, coulgereot ball is fun this year,
(54:45):
It's a fun It's been fun. Wager has been tough
except for Crack, who wins everything. The rest of us
have struggle, struggle. We love bet punts, which.
Speaker 5 (54:53):
Is just.
Speaker 1 (54:55):
I had it and it was a safety. When does
that happen? My goodness?
Speaker 4 (55:00):
Running, But uh, it's been a fun year. About Heisman's
wide open still right, I mean, you got you got
Penn X, you have bon Knicks, you have Jayden Daniels,
LSU he Is, his numbers are incredible right now, you
have Jordan Travis with Florida State still playing good football.
I mean, there's just so much left in control.
Speaker 1 (55:18):
With a month left, I don't want to live in
a world where JJ McCarthy is the Heisman winner.
Speaker 4 (55:23):
Just yeah, he's he is. You can't. I mean, I
would take Marvin Harrison over him. If it were like
if we're going like big ten, you know, Heisman winner,
like Marvin Harrison is a better football player than J. J.
McCarthy is.
Speaker 1 (55:34):
We just we got to get away from best player
and best team and that's it. That's the only criteria,
that sucky criteria.
Speaker 4 (55:42):
I'll put my bone necks, my organ favorite. He is
I think the best quarterback right now in the country.
The way he's playing, Wow, he might be the most talented.
I think Drake Man Kelley Boyami. I mean, but like
he is playing very good football. He has one reception
this season. He is just under control, calm, collected, and
(56:02):
right now he's playing with football.
Speaker 1 (56:04):
I'll tell you what last little college thing I'll throw
at you, Bucky Irving. He's not the same build as
Alvin Kamara.
Speaker 4 (56:11):
He's a lot of fun, but he.
Speaker 1 (56:13):
He always seems to have his balance like Alvin Kamara.
It doesn't seem he's like a little bowling ball. I
love how balanced he is. He is a lot of
fun to watch.
Speaker 5 (56:24):
Guys. Bow Nicks seven and a half to one Heisman.
Speaker 4 (56:27):
On that man, he's got a chance, Oregon is gonna have.
We're gonna beat cal this weekend, we got USC at home.
We're gonna beat USC again in the game in the Vale,
and in the Valley's gonna be hard playing Arizona State
just always is. It's Probabna put that on pack after dark.
I'm have to stay till two am sweating bullets on
the East coast. And then we have Oregon State at
home National TV game, I mean you, and then we
if we win those four, we got Washington again in
(56:49):
the Package championship game. I mean, like, we're right. I
never thought I would say bow Nicks and his fifty
five college starts right, what would be near that level?
I can I give you a free preview for next weekend, guys,
I think the total is gonna open up. I saw
like seventy one. Take the total in the coliseum this weekend.
Take the over Washington USC. Just do it like it's
(57:10):
gonna be fifty five forty five. Track me one hundred points.
Speaker 1 (57:15):
Track me no doubt. All right, Coming up next, the
big name quarterback is out, the no name quarterback is in.
It's Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff, presented by BETMGM.
It is Fox Sports Radios Countdown to Kickoff. Presented by

and food and beverage credits. Okay, so, big name quarterback
Deshaun Watson is out nicked up again. No name quarterback PJ.
Walker is in against the Seattle Seahawks today.
Speaker 4 (58:15):
Am I the Brady Quinn thing? I mean we allowed
to give him like a like a like a round
of applause for the tweets this week. I don't know
if that's like a that's a I don't know if
that's a taboo and then talk about those tweets.
Speaker 1 (58:26):
But no, no, throw it at everybody. So we're all on
the same page here.
Speaker 4 (58:29):
Jeff, Oh, you didn't see the Brady Quinn tweets today
this week and Deshaun Watson's a QB coach. Okay, well,
I'll let you do a little search on that one there.
Speaker 1 (58:41):
It.
Speaker 4 (58:41):
Uh. I like the brown to this one because I
think I'm a little scared about Peja Walker in Seattle
say that it was hard to play at but Seattle, I've
watched it out the last two games because I had
money on in the last two games. Right against the Bengals,
red zone offense terrible. It's a Cardinal Ruds on offense
not very good. The Reds on offense is not very good. Right.
(59:04):
They're having issues at the offensive lines. Guys are sort
of beat up and trying to get back back in
the back in this wing of things. But this is
not a respect to me on the Browns defense. Guys,
the Browns defense really it's still really good. And and
Geo Smith has not been the same quarterback he was
the first six weeks of last season. He's very up
and down. He's prone to mistakes more than he was
(59:25):
last season.
Speaker 5 (59:26):
Uh.
Speaker 4 (59:27):
Little scared of PJ Walker on the road, I give
you that, But I like the Browns getting points here.
Crack a lot o. Uh oh, you're on Seattle.
Speaker 5 (59:37):
Crack Houston, we've got a problem. Uh I bet Seattle
minus three early in the week. Gave him out to
all my guys early in the week.
Speaker 4 (59:48):
Do we miss that text message again?
Speaker 1 (59:51):
Away, I'm looking through it right now. I don't see
any of these sharp college plays where he's running sick.
Speaker 5 (59:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:00:02):
If Crack had told me like, y'all wants minus three,
I would have been like, sweet, so am I guess what?
Speaker 5 (01:00:08):
No, I was, Listen, guys, I was. I gave out
a lot of preseason football winners to you guys, and
I just to be honest, I didn't. I just didn't
think you wanted them anymore.
Speaker 1 (01:00:19):
You know what, you know why winners winter track. We've
got enough? Like really, we're good.
Speaker 5 (01:00:26):
No, Russ actual Rod said, said, you know practice that
no one cares just the Bronx tail. Nobody cares about us, all.
Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
Right, Rusted, Russ, Russ, I know you're listening, don't Rust.
I'm gonna I'm gonna that again, Russ. Yeah, let let
Crack send those winners. He did. I'm joking, Jo stopping.
Speaker 5 (01:00:43):
But let me just tell you I did give out
a rare side with Seattle here minus three, I bet
a minus three.
Speaker 4 (01:00:51):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:00:52):
The Browns have been, I know, scratching and clawing their
way with this quarterback. I understand, but they really shouldn't
have had some victories that they've had recently. And I
have overseason wins for the brown So I need them
to actually win some games. And they're on a pace
for me to be a winner. And you know, Miles Garrett,
he might be the best in the in the game.
I mean, he's that good. So but but all that
(01:01:15):
Seattle's defense has come together. Uh, there's some other factors here.
It's really more of a bet against Cleveland than it
is on Seattle. And by the way, I I had
a bet and I had some Seattle kicked me out
of something recently. They should have won a game recently.
It might have been last week the Bengals. Yeah, they yes,
(01:01:35):
that's that's it. They should have won that game. And
they win that game. You and I were on Seattle
play too. We were all on.
Speaker 4 (01:01:41):
Yeah, but that the Red. They're having bad Red. It's
interesting this year guys, scoring is way down, the least
amount of points you've seen in I think ten or
twelve years. And then red zone offense this year has
been a trocious around the NFL. Seattle is one of
those things. With the trocious red zone offense, it's not good.
And when you play this Browns team, the best player
in the field today is Miles Scarrett, right, And I'm
(01:02:04):
sort of wager on the best player in the field
and having, you know, an effect on this game. And
if I get one strip sack, I probably cover the
way the Browns are playing. To me, the way the
what's your culture playing the Sea As a buddy of
mine calls him, the Sea bags play in the red zone.
So uh, but now I'm Agatt's crack cracks gonna give
me the I wish you the best of luck, give
(01:02:26):
my my crack wager.
Speaker 5 (01:02:28):
This is actually even worse than that because I actually
bet Seattle. My money's on Seattle.
Speaker 4 (01:02:31):
So but I look, Browns are four getting four.
Speaker 5 (01:02:34):
Yeah, we could we.
Speaker 4 (01:02:35):
Can both cover.
Speaker 5 (01:02:36):
We could both we could both well, I don't know
if we could both cover this. There's a new way
for a game to land on three and a half.
Speaker 4 (01:02:40):
No, it's four and a half right now.
Speaker 5 (01:02:42):
So oh again, MGM unbelieved lands on four fours. Everywhere
MGM has four and a half dog fifteen, we're good
land on a four low total here, yeah this listen,
you're right, they're red zone They're terrible what I've seen
(01:03:03):
out of them. And you know what I last year,
you and I, Jeff, who were down on him, and
he proved us wrong so many times. You know, Oh
my god, but you're you're right. I don't like backing
a quarterback, you know, individually like him, but especially after
I seen these red zone things against Cincinnati and stuff.
(01:03:23):
They were terrible. They should have scored there a couple
of times. But this game can land out four. Let's
let's hope we both get a victory.
Speaker 1 (01:03:31):
Fast, go ahead, Jeff, what are you going to say.
Speaker 4 (01:03:34):
When you do your when you do your power rankings?
Does the wide zone efficiency playing today?
Speaker 3 (01:03:37):
Of course?
Speaker 5 (01:03:38):
Of course, and and really in this game, uh, it
probably should come up to play, should have came into
play more. But the line was three at the time.
I would not be laying for trust anywhere. I won't
lay four. I won't lay over three, especially if a
game was three earlier in the week. I'm never gonna
lay three and a half and four. I don't like
laying numbers in the NF. Well, I just don't. I'm
(01:04:01):
the underdog guy. I've been underdogs as I've been in
my diapers, literally betting games, betting those parlay cards. My
father used to hand them to me when I was
six years old, pick some team, son. I was picking
underdogs at six years old. So that's the way to go.
You know you're gonna go against the public. Just it
is what it is. You want to grow up. You
grow up Italian in the Bronx, and then you know
(01:04:21):
East Coast. See what happens. You get my mother's family.
You're handing parlay cards at five years old with a rattle.
I mean it just it is.
Speaker 1 (01:04:28):
So you were in diapers betting underdogs, but you're taking
seattle and laying the.
Speaker 5 (01:04:32):
Seattle three three three three three three three. You got it.
I won't lay over. I won't lay over.
Speaker 1 (01:04:37):
Free last say, I'll say, though, I like the Browns
after their defense stinking last week, right, Like I like
them to rebound today because that was sort of like
an out of body experience for them. Last week. You
gave up two passing touchdowns two rushing touchdowns to Gardner Minshew. Right,
they gave up four hundred and fifty six yards. That
(01:04:58):
was the first quarterback in Colt's hit history to rush
for two touchdowns and throw for two touchdowns.
Speaker 4 (01:05:03):
And you won't be you won't be rpo to death today,
right because you're not gonna Geno Smith. He's not gonna
do that to you.
Speaker 1 (01:05:09):
No, No, he's definitely not. But and I agree, the
Browns have a good defense. And I think after stinking
it up and allowing what thirty eight points and all
those yards, all those touchdowns, I think it's gonna be
a lot harder for the Seahawks today. I don't think
they're gonna put up anything close to what the Colts
did last week. But that's the NFL. Man, Crazy stuff happens.
Crazy stuff happens every time in a good way. When
(01:05:31):
we hear from Isaac Loewen Kron, he's got the latest,
is Loo what's going on?
Speaker 4 (01:05:36):
Buddy? All right?
Speaker 9 (01:05:36):
Fellas the actives and in actives coming out right now
for all of the early games. We do have a
development as it relates to one of the late games.
The Kansas City Chiefs just added Patrick Mahomes to their
injury report for their game at Denver due to illness.
But he will start. They listed him game yeah, as
(01:05:58):
having no games designation. He is just simply ill. Despite that,
certain fans in certain apparently dark corners of the social
media universe not necessarily sympathetic. Colossal commenting quote, pat I
don't give a bleep about the sniffles. Let's get this
(01:06:20):
bread unquote Henry commenting quote, of course, goodbye playoffs. What
a joke unquote Henry. With some incredibly high standards apparently
anyway elsewhere, how about this. Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey
is active today against the Patriots, just ninety four days
(01:06:40):
after tearing his meniscus during training camp. Patriots receiver Juju
Smith Schuster is active as well, after missing two games
because of a concussion. Also, with Halloween coming up on Tuesday,
not today, but on Tuesday, a lot of NFL players
wearing Halloween costumes on their way into the respective stadiums
(01:07:02):
and beginning to trend right now, Three unidentified members of
the New York Jets arrived for their game against the
Giants in Akkatsuki costumes. Akatsuki, according to a very very
hurried Google search, just moments ago, a villainous group of
ninjas from a manga series called Naruto, and it's apparently
(01:07:28):
very popular, and those three members of the Jets right
now are trending on social media. In Game two of
the World Series on Saturday night, the Arizona Diamondbacks with
a nine to one victory at Texas to tie that
series at one with a piece behind the pitching of
Merril Kelly of the Diamondbacks seven innings allowed one to
run on three hits, with nine strikeouts and no walks.
(01:07:48):
In college football on Saturday night, the Arizona Wildcats knocked
off number eleven Oregon State twenty seven to twenty four.
Fifth ranked Washington held off Stanford forty two to thirty
three team wins in a row for the Huskies, and
number twenty three year Cla racked up seven sacks at
a twenty eight to sixteen win over Colorado.
Speaker 1 (01:08:07):
Fellas All yours, thank you, I Low. It's Fox Sports
Radios Countdown to Kickoff presented by BETMGM. BETMGM is now
available under one wallet in select states. For example, if
you're in the DMV area, no need to worry about
making separate accounts for DC, Maryland and Virginia when crossing
state borders. Simply just log into your existing account instead
(01:08:28):
of creating a new one.
Speaker 3 (01:08:30):
All right, let's do this SI same game parlanks.
Speaker 1 (01:08:36):
All right, crack, been in the lab cooking one up.
What do you have?
Speaker 5 (01:08:39):
I'm on the BETMGM app a semi correlated one. That's
the only one I'll ever do for these type of bets.
Let's look at the game between Green Bay and Minnesota.
I am gonna go under on Dylan rushing yards forty
four and a half, under on Addison receiving sixty four
(01:09:00):
and a half, and let's go under in the game
forty one and a half. Look for a low scoring,
tight game there. That's going to be my same game
parlay this week.
Speaker 1 (01:09:10):
Okay, expecting some shoddy offense and good defense there.
Speaker 5 (01:09:15):
Huh yeah, yeah, you know, we we could have we
could have some good uh some good defense? Did this
game opened up forty three and a half. I actually
didn't bet the game under because I can't do it.
I can't go for one of the games forty three
and a half. I can't go now on the one
forty one and a half. Forty one is a key number,
though still forty three is also a key number. I
think just for the same game party. You know we can.
(01:09:35):
We can build it there and throw that in there.
You go.
Speaker 4 (01:09:38):
Okay, practice mentioned a fantasy player. I have my team
and I haven't done my semi fancy line up yet
this week. The crack, you're just you're just great.
Speaker 1 (01:09:45):
Okay, it's a fifty to fifty shot here, crack. Does
he have Dylan or does he have Addison? What do
you say? Let's let's bet on.
Speaker 5 (01:09:52):
What I would say. I want to use Dylan.
Speaker 1 (01:09:55):
Dylan.
Speaker 4 (01:09:56):
Dylan's on my bench.
Speaker 5 (01:09:58):
I believe you had him though, I mean had him right?
Speaker 4 (01:10:00):
I have Dylan. Yeah, he's on my bench. Guys, I
know this is not Fantasy football radio. Can I just
tell you something very quick? I'm owing seven in one
of my leagues? Oh man, I have six hundred and
twenty five points. Okay in seven games. That's not a lot.
The eleventh place team in the league is two and five,
and they have one hundred and fifty more points than
(01:10:20):
I do this season.
Speaker 1 (01:10:21):
Wow, what's going on with your fantasy squads?
Speaker 4 (01:10:24):
Trevor Lawrence, Waddell, Christian Watson, Eckler, Najie Harris, Kittle, Cooper
Young Wayku and Cleveland's defense.
Speaker 1 (01:10:33):
I don't know, man, just not getting it done.
Speaker 4 (01:10:36):
I just don't like I think I have the most
points against this season, like two. I just don't. I
just keep getting drilled my other team, I have like
two wins. Maybe, but I'm gonna stitt my lamp. Thank you, crap.
I appreciate the lead.
Speaker 5 (01:10:49):
Good get him in there. Yeah, you gotta maybe do
you get something? Is there a boobie prize?
Speaker 4 (01:10:54):
Or no?
Speaker 5 (01:10:54):
Do you get like last? Is there? In fantasy?
Speaker 4 (01:10:56):
Most leagues actually like if your last last place, nothing happens.
If you're like second to last year, have like a
real punishment.
Speaker 5 (01:11:02):
Oh right?
Speaker 4 (01:11:02):
Does that work the way it works sometimes? Yeah, but
this league is that I don't the people I'm with
can't bully me, so I was not going to do it.
Speaker 5 (01:11:09):
Don't do it. Jeff's going to bully you.
Speaker 4 (01:11:12):
Like well, like they're in a different city than me.
Speaker 5 (01:11:15):
I'm just gonna be like tough guys. I'll see them
social media hiding under an is guy.
Speaker 4 (01:11:22):
So here we go. We thought about Cowboys and Rams earlier.
This today. Right, it's a big game. I have my
other team have Stafford and Dak Prescott. Who do I
start what should I do?
Speaker 1 (01:11:31):
Stafford, right, I think Stafford, Yeah, I think so too.
They might be playing from behind, no, Trayvon Diggs right,
it seems like the right side that Dallas is passing
offense been a little hit or miss. You're with that right, crack.
Speaker 5 (01:11:47):
You know, it's just I'm just thinking about twenty five.
He's twenty five and ten in a contest. That goes
to show you the difference of how hard it is
to win on fantasy. I've never gotten involved in fantasy.
I never do.
Speaker 4 (01:12:00):
I just get asked to do it, and I do
it for fun because it's something to do. I guess
during another thing I'm doing right now. But I'm just
gett asked and I'm like, cool, yeah, whatever. It doesn't
fantasy to me. I my brain only has a certain
parts of it that can be used at all times.
I don't have room for fantasy sports. Like I just
(01:12:21):
don't you know. I got the gambling part of my brain.
That's it. I can't do it, can't get to fantasy sports.
Speaker 1 (01:12:27):
All right, we we've got the prop part of your
brain coming up now.
Speaker 4 (01:12:31):
I can't wait. I got a couple. I'm ready to go.
Speaker 1 (01:12:33):
We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran.
Speaker 2 (01:12:35):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:12:36):
Will Krackenberger from crack Wings dot com. I'm Brian No
prop it up, prop betpicks galore. That's on the way.

Prop it up? Don't player plays.
Speaker 1 (01:13:34):
Okay, prop bets galore crack. We'll start with you. What's
something you like today?
Speaker 5 (01:13:39):
I have two for you guys. Start with the Packers Dylan.
I just get that out in the same game Parlay,
But now we're going to look individually. Dylan on there
about forty four and a half, give or take a
couple of yards there. Aaron Jones is getting a little
bit healthier. I think that the Vikes also have an
underrated run defense. So yeah, let's let's go with Packers
(01:14:02):
aged Dylan under. And I'm also going to give you
guys a second one here, Ridley. I don't like betting.
Over's on a lot of things, guys, Ridley Calvin Ridley
over forty nine and a half yards. You know, the
Jags are getting him more involved, more and more. A
good matchup against the Pittsburgh style of defense. So there's
an over and an under. So let's go. There we go.
Speaker 4 (01:14:26):
So, Brian, it's two and a half. This week, it's
two and a half. Matt Stafford's rushing prop.
Speaker 1 (01:14:33):
Two and a half yards the Cowboys.
Speaker 4 (01:14:35):
They're playing the Cowboys. He's over this number five of
seven games this year. He is running more this year
Becau's running for his life. The Rams right tackles not
playing today, Rob having signed. Remember, unlike college football, right
the rushing, the sack numbers, you're not going the rushing yards,
which I just despise about college football. Gosh, but it's.
Speaker 5 (01:14:55):
Some of the ones.
Speaker 1 (01:14:55):
Imagine how many Caleb Williams last last night.
Speaker 4 (01:14:59):
Or Sugar Sanders. So I ended up with. I genuinely
felt bad for him last night. Like I don't really
have emotions ever when I watch football, but I was like,
this guy is not in a good way right now.
He didn't have a no, no chance. I actually like
I like. I like Josh Jobs under one ninety two
and a half, the Cardinals quarterback, the Ravens defense. Guys
(01:15:24):
is playing good. And we've seen Dobbs just again. You know,
he's kind of up and down one week good, one
week bad. Didn't play good last week, but now he's
playing a really good Ravens defense and kind of the
you know, the the luster has worn off of I
think what he can be. So I have I'm going
under here for Dobbs, even though I do I'm attack
concerted thinking behind this game he has to throw the ball,
(01:15:46):
but I uh I like it, and last one too.
I took Desmond Ridder under. I think with f on
the right number here, I just I feel like fading
Desmond Ridder is that weekly played for me. They're playing
a Titans team off of by who is good on defense,
and again they're not Ritters under two twenty and a
half right now? Okay, Yeah, they don't want him to
(01:16:06):
throw the ball. They want him to they want to
run the football, keep him safe. So those are the
ones I like today.
Speaker 1 (01:16:11):
Yeah, I'm gonna look at Bengals receiver Jamar Chase. I'm
gonna take over seven and a half receptions because I
can't imagine that since he's gonna have a whole lot
of success running the football. They haven't had success all year.
I don't think they're gonna be able to run it
down the forty nine ers throat. So I'm gonna take
Joe Burrow to throw a lot of passes, and if
(01:16:32):
he's throwing a lot of passes, he's gonna be targeting
Jamar Chase a whole lot. I'm gonna take over seven
and a half receptions with Jamar. I think that a
sneaky quarterback rushing stat Jeff, you love this. Look at
Tyrod Taylor going up against the Jets today. It's at
twenty two and a half. It's a little high on
the quarterback rushing side, but he succeeded that number the
(01:16:55):
last couple of weeks. And you know the Jets, they
get matched up on man on man d and sometimes
there's just an opening and you take it. I look
for Tyrod Taylor to rush handful of times. I've got
him over twenty two and a half rushing yards today.
Speaker 4 (01:17:10):
Yeah, I think it's a good play, especially like I
could see that being a sort of a garbage time
thing too, Like you're down trying to come back. He's
run the ball a little bit, old line breaks down,
got to make plays. He's a very good runner. The
thing about that game, we haven't talked a much about
that game, is that if the Giants win, Dato Jones
is not getting the jaw back right Like the Giants
(01:17:31):
are in the thick of the wildcard race right now,
like they're legitimately, which is wild to say because they're
not a good football team. It just kind of tells
you where the NFC is at right now. There they
are one and a half games out of their two
and the other one and a half games out right
now of the seventh wildcard spot, which is just crazy
(01:17:53):
to me.
Speaker 1 (01:17:53):
Yeah, it's insane the NFC, the wildcard race. There's gonna
be a gross team that snicks in there. Absolutely. Hey, crack,
what do you think about Geno Smith is passing yardage
set two twenty one and a half long under.
Speaker 5 (01:18:08):
I got a room for the over because I have Seattle.
I have a pretty good side bet on Seattle. The
more thing I'm interested in is this Kansas City game.
Just major line move on Denver six.
Speaker 1 (01:18:17):
We'll get to this coming up. Also, one team is
looking to rebound, one team is looking to save the season.
Oh what's going on? Everybody? Less than an hour away
from kickoff? Here getting all set for Week eight? Crack,
you got your eye on this Chief's Broncos game. With
the weather right, we've got some snow over there.
Speaker 5 (01:18:37):
Major line move just now on Don Best. I mean,
the wire is a live odd screen from all around
the world. I'm shocked. Six and a half, even if
even if Maholmes has the sniffles Jesus, seems like six
and a half. Wow, there's a couple of books one, two,
three books here with six and a half, every other
book with seven dog fifteen except bet MG, where it's
(01:19:00):
still seven flat. So I find that interesting. And yeah,
you know Kansas City Denver. Listen, I bet them in
a teaser when they were like seven and a half.
By the way, this game opened up at nine and
quickly got hit the eight and a half eight seven
and a half. Like I said, it's all one way money.
It seems like which is I say that that's the
(01:19:20):
sharp money because as we know, as Christian said earlier,
Kansas City and Philadelphia will be the sports, will be
the books. The team that the books bet are looking
for the other dogs on those games, so everyone bets
Kansas City and Philadelphia. He's right, So they're gonna be
looking for Denver and Washington today. Like I said, this
(01:19:43):
game looks like it's seven dog money. I have Kansas
City and a teaser, so I'm just gonna want Kansas
City to win that game up in the elevation of Denver.
So there we go.
Speaker 4 (01:19:53):
So the Chiefs have not covered these games under Patrick Mahomes. However,
they're forming as to spread since Taylo Swift made appearance
on the scene, and they're covering games they normally never
covered Brian right, like they normally don't cover these big
spreads on the road at home, like they're typically you
(01:20:15):
bet against them at all times. Yeah, but I don't.
I don't love the Chiefs here anyways. They're just They're
never going to be a play for me as a
touchdown road favorite. It's just you just can't. And I'm
a Chiefs fans. I don't like last weekend. I was
in the worst spot. I hate it so much. I
was on the Chargers. I'm so I'm watching the Chiefs game, like, well,
(01:20:37):
I hope they win between one and six points, Like,
I just hate that, you know, so I put the
I would put the chief Chiefs in a teaser. That's
what I would do in a money line parlay something
like that. Maybe you find a prop you like. I mean,
I think there's a you know, Russell Wilson under is
a good prop. I feel like with the way the Chiefs.
(01:20:57):
The Chiefs right now into DVOA, which has now moved
to a different website, a different home base. But Aaron
Chet's his baby there. Chiefs are top five in offensive.
It's special teams They're a really good football team, and
Denver's arrival of Theirs my favorite stat in the NFL.
(01:21:18):
The Broncos have more recently won a Super Bowl than
have been the Kansas City Chiefs. They have not won
against the Chiefs since early of twenty.
Speaker 1 (01:21:26):
Fifteen, sixteen straight wins against the Broncos.
Speaker 4 (01:21:29):
And Russell Wilson is not the guy, in my opinion,
to lead him to a victory today. The Chiefs offense
looked very functional finally last week they kind of felt
like in a pretty good rhythm on a good flow.
So I think the Chiefs win this game again. The
weather may or may not snow, is unpredictable, right, sometimes
it does something it doesn't. The illnessing for Mahomes that
just I don't know, maybe he just flu game now,
(01:21:50):
I don't know whatever. You know, they're not losing this game.
But I wouldn't bet the Chiefs in this game.
Speaker 1 (01:21:55):
Let me ask you, Jeff, because you watch the Chiefs
very very closely. We do, but you know you gotta
sharp by with them. And this is not disrespectful. But
the Chiefs defense, they've been playing very very well. The
Chargers were able to run the ball pretty effectively last
week they just had a turnover in the second half
and they just charged basically. But going forward, do you
(01:22:17):
think the Chiefs thus far have played over their heads?
Are we gonna see them slip a little bit more
as the second half of the season plays out here?
Speaker 4 (01:22:27):
It's a good question. You know, I am not terribly
concerned about run defense because this is a passing league,
and so when you play the Bengals and you play
the Bills in the playoffs. So the Dolphins, like Key
stopped the pass right and I think they can do
that at a high level because they have all the
young players that played last year as rookies are obviously
second year players. Tre McDuffie is great. You know the
Chargers they had, they had that one long touchdown run
(01:22:49):
that think bullied some of their rushing numbers in that game.
It doesn't concern me anest. Like I the thing about
defense the NFL, we talked early about regression. Right the
Chiefs just their defense to be average. It's all they need.
Last year was average by the end of the season,
won a super Bowl. Twenty nineteen, average won a super Bowl.
It's all they need, Brian average. Right now, it's great.
(01:23:10):
If they regress a little bit, fine, just be average.
Can you hit the passer when it matters? And can
you can you play your third down defense? And so yeah,
I would imagine when they have Dolphins next week in Germany,
the Bills coming up. They got the Bengals late December,
like they're gonna have better teams. They play DVOA those
adjusted for you know, for for opponent too. So yeah,
(01:23:34):
I don't know, finished tenth, I'll be happy, you know
what I mean? Like, I just all I need from them.
They don't have to be special, but they can't be
bad either.
Speaker 1 (01:23:42):
By the way, crack, there's still time to spring for
a trip to Germany next week to see the Dolphins
in chiefs. My birthday's next Saturday, so little early start
time on Sunday. You know what do you think? Last
minute roads?
Speaker 4 (01:23:57):
Happy birthday?
Speaker 5 (01:23:58):
Do we just do we just cancel the show? I
don't understand.
Speaker 1 (01:24:01):
No, we'll do it live from the stadium, you know, alright?
Speaker 3 (01:24:04):
Cool?
Speaker 5 (01:24:04):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (01:24:04):
Are you going, Brian?
Speaker 1 (01:24:06):
No to Germany?
Speaker 4 (01:24:07):
Would you have gone if you didn't have this show
to do?
Speaker 3 (01:24:09):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (01:24:10):
I would have found a way to do the show
while in Germany. In Germany, Okay, absolutely, I would have
done that.
Speaker 4 (01:24:15):
Yeah, that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:24:16):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:24:17):
The fun part about that game is that in an
early game or is that like a regular kickoff time?
Speaker 1 (01:24:20):
It would be early show.
Speaker 4 (01:24:21):
Yeah, during the show. Yeah, it's like I think in hindsight,
they probably would have loved to have that game in
the States.
Speaker 1 (01:24:30):
Absolutely, yeah, okay. Would that be to do the show
in the stadium while watching the game. Then I wouldn't
have the lag time with the stream, you know, plays ahead.
Speaker 4 (01:24:42):
Of me on a it's on an NFL network or
something too, because those games, Yeah, yeah, it will be
something to get like a Rich Eisen Kurt Warner, I
like that. I like that game.
Speaker 1 (01:24:51):
By the way, if we segue to the Patriots and Dolphins,
it's partly this game against the Patriots for the Dolphins,
but more so bigger, broader looking at the rest of
the season, I'm curious where you guys are. There's a
lot of talk about, hey, when the Dolphins step up
in weight class, they get punked, and that's been the
case against the Bills and the Eagles. But look, man,
(01:25:12):
we know how much health means in the NFL, and
if they're fully healthy, they still might have gotten smacked around.
Let me make that clear. But their odds are better
going forward if they're healthier. They get Jalen Ramsey back,
They're gonna get Xavier and Howard back. Chris Collinsworth said
it at the end of last week's game. You get
your corners back with Vic Fangio, you're able to walk
(01:25:33):
the safeties down. There's a lot you can do defensively
when you've got your two top corners back. They've got
three offensive linemen out. They've got their starting running back
in Devon ah Chan, who's been spectacular. It's way too
early to be like the Dolphins can't beat anybody good.
It's happened twice. Now we're going into week eight and
(01:25:53):
these people are just writing them off. I know I'm
sounding very Homerish, but this is not just fins up
hashtag let's go Pomp pomps. This is my brain. Also,
is way too early to write off a team after
two bad losses.
Speaker 4 (01:26:07):
Oh, I'm not writing them off. I just think that
when you look at the at the upper echelant of
the AFC, I think people thought and we'll find out
next week. Obviously, even though the regular season, you know,
the playoffs are two different things. I think people thought like,
this Dolphins team can't be stopped. They're running right through
the AFC conferences and clearly there's still some growing pains there. Yeah,
(01:26:28):
when they're healthy, it's a lot different that health does
matter oftentimes. You see the Super Bowl winners the healthiest
team left, right, that's a huge part of winning and losing.
The Chiefs have been particularly healthy during the Super Bowl run. Yeah,
I just think that you know what, what wins in
January is winning in the trenches, right, Like, you can
(01:26:49):
do all of our things well, but you're not getting
through that stretch. And the Dolphins have shown now and
I know you're right, Armstead hasn't played. It's a big
difference when he's in there. But I think the interior
of the Dolph dolphinsive line is a concern if when
they're all sort of together and healthy, I think you've
seen now the two teams that could push them around,
Brian have done that. Now. Obviously next weekend playing the Chiefs,
(01:27:10):
we'll see, right, that's another team that can do that.
I think that's that's why there's people are down more
of the Dolphins now is we know you again? I
think they're gonna smash the Patriots today. Do you feel
that way.
Speaker 1 (01:27:26):
I'm not as confident as you are, Okay, right?
Speaker 4 (01:27:29):
Is it more like anti Dolphins or pro Patriots.
Speaker 1 (01:27:33):
It's just a divisional thing. It's really not anti or pro.
It's just the Patriots know the Dolphins very very well.
They played them tough in Foxborough last time. I could
see this being a closer than you think type game.
This is my stay away game because as easily as
I can see this being like a seven point four
point Dolphins win, I could see them winning by seventeen.
(01:27:56):
I wouldn't even shrug my shoulders.
Speaker 4 (01:27:58):
I can be eighty four today in Miami. Yeah, so
it's a big change for the Patriots. If Patriots you
down this game like, that's it, right, If they get
down ten to fourteen points early, that's they're done for
the right in this game.
Speaker 1 (01:28:13):
So they're not Yeah, they're like the Desmond Ritter Falcons
in terms of coming from behind.
Speaker 5 (01:28:18):
You know.
Speaker 4 (01:28:19):
And also the earlier game had Matthew Judahan and Christian
Zalez both playing and they're out now.
Speaker 1 (01:28:24):
So yeah, that's big. That's important.
Speaker 5 (01:28:27):
This game opened up ten and a half down to
down to eight pretty solid eight. Like I said, there
was a couple of nines here in town.
Speaker 1 (01:28:34):
What do you think, crack the sharps are all over
the Patriots in this Yeah.
Speaker 5 (01:28:38):
I do, yep, yep, yep, yep.
Speaker 4 (01:28:39):
And about you, what do you like?
Speaker 5 (01:28:41):
I lean to the dog there. I'm never laying points
like that anyway. I don't care if they're home or not.
New England definitely after listen, the first week I thought
New England was actually they almost beat Philadelphia the week one,
but they have went down since then, and that that
that game last week just really stunk. I mean, the
books cleaned up on that game. And uh, you know
(01:29:02):
the Buffalo game. And I like New England. I think
New England division team. Uh division game here. Uh you know,
we'll see you. Then again, Jeff's fright. The weather over
there could be you know, that could be a factor.
Speaker 1 (01:29:13):
So anyway, Dolphins, they're the in season hard knocks team.
It's funny we make all this. We have so many
conversations about the off season. Remember it was the Jets
and we talked about that for a long time. Who's
it gonna be? It's down to these four teams in season,
No no buzz nothing, zero reaction but the Dolphins.
Speaker 4 (01:29:35):
Yet, Dolphins have about it though they've been complained about it, right.
Speaker 1 (01:29:39):
Yeah, they're not geeked. No one's happy about it. Does
anybody ever say anything happy about being featured on Hard Knocks.
They're all like, this sucks. We don't like it at all.
Uh yeah, something else to watch the Uh, this is
right up your alley, Jeff. The Patriots, they shifted around
their entire offensive line.
Speaker 4 (01:29:59):
Yeah, yeah, so that always works well.
Speaker 1 (01:30:02):
It worked against the Bills last week. But we'll see
what happens this week against Miami. What do you think
of Miami's defense? By the way, right now, they got
to get healthier. You got to get your star corners
back there, and then we're talking we're cooking with grease
at that point. But right now, it's just less than expected.
I expected them to be better with Vic fang.
Speaker 4 (01:30:22):
Jay, maybe Ramsey coming back and let Fangill cook a
little bit more.
Speaker 1 (01:30:25):
I think so, Yeah, I think so. I think that
makes a big difference right there. Hey, we're brought to

these matchups here, Let's look at Monday night Major line

What are the Raiders down to now? Seven point hunderd Well.
Speaker 5 (01:31:40):
You can lay seven minus seven minus twenty at one
of the shops I follow minus seven and a half
even here at the book that makes the lines for
that most of the country. So yeah, this is interesting.
I didn't expect this. I actually very rarely like a
money line on a favorite and now it's going down
(01:32:04):
to a number that minus here in town. Here in Vegas,
you could bet minus three thirty. Now, I don't ever
recommend laying that kind of money line. However, I am
doing it, and I'll tell you why. I think that
this is. This is a real good opportunity here for
the Detroit Lions are going in a direction now after
this game, after the last week's game, I think there
(01:32:26):
was an embarrassment first Baltimore. I think they're gonna come
out and just be so fired up. And Las Vegas.
Like I said, I hate to say, it's my hometown team,
but you know me, my allegiance to my bankro. I
don't care about any single player team. I don't care
about anything, just my money and family of course, and
I have my friend Okay, so a lot of things.
Ok yeah, I put friends in there anyway. So no,
(01:32:49):
I just think the Raiders are terrible. So Jimmy G.
Obviously may play. That's the reason why they're there. This
line is like going to be like this, But I
don't recommend any even anyway. I'm like, I'm not giving
that out on the show for anyone to play. That's
just my own personal play, and I did throw a
stupid five figure bet on it, but still.
Speaker 4 (01:33:10):
Would so would you, like, if people want to play
this but don't have the appetite that you do, would
you suggest another team on, like a money line parlay
or a couple other.
Speaker 5 (01:33:20):
I always make fun, not make fun make fun of
the wrong thing. I always try to help people and say, listen,
you can't bet all these big giant favorites. But when
I'm saying that, I'm normally saying, like the ten point favorites,
like the Chargers. I am not laying five to one
on the Chargers money line verus Chicago. I don't trust
the Chargers. And then Chicago just won a couple of games.
(01:33:40):
But what did you think chirst Lions like with Chiefs
Lions only because here in town again, the Chiefs here
are minus three ten here in town. They just got
hit down because of the homesting, the weather, whatever it
may be. But listen, as we know, weather's just over.
You know, people just think of so much more weather
than there is the wind. What matters the wind gust.
(01:34:02):
So yeah, Jeff, to be real honest with you, that's
a good way to attack Kansas City money line going
into Detroit money line. That is, for every one hundred
dollars you bet there, you're getting back about seventy with
here in town. Not a big return in boy, this
is so unlike Bill Krackenberger, that ca man giving out
(01:34:23):
a money line parlay. But yeah, that that's something I
would actually tend to agree with. They're very good putting
another team with it.
Speaker 1 (01:34:31):
By the way, Josh Jacobs Raiders running back, he hasn't
had a one hundred yard rushing game the last twelve games.
You got to get him back on track.
Speaker 2 (01:34:40):
Man.
Speaker 1 (01:34:40):
It's December fourth of twenty twenty two, so we're close
to a year ago a calendar year since he's rushed
for one hundred yards. So something to keep in mind there.
The other primetime game tonight you mentioned this crack Bears
and Chargers. I think you're allergic to laying that many points, right, No,
I would never do that with the Chargers.
Speaker 4 (01:35:02):
No, even he made the case of someone else but
not the Chargers the most untrustworthy team of all time.
This is like a brand state, like fight for your
job game if you don't if he doesn't win this game, guys,
it's not keeping his job, right.
Speaker 5 (01:35:14):
I didn't even think of that, I know it.
Speaker 4 (01:35:20):
The Justin Herbert part of the Chargers is so interesting
to me because everyone, you know, this week was about
how well we have to sort of blame Justin Herbert
for what's happening. I don't know how to blame him though,
Like when I watch Justin Herbert play, I never think
to myself, well that guy's he's he's losing them in
the game. Like I never think that ever, So I
don't know why. Kind of the discourse this week was like, well, Herbert,
(01:35:42):
we gotta start blaming Herbert for all this, Like do
we have to? I mean, like, what give me a
reason why it's Herbert's fault. There's no reason. The Chargers
just have a bad coach and they play football that
doesn't help them win.
Speaker 5 (01:35:57):
Yeah, I tell you, I'm looking at it. I was
just looking at the opening. Sorry, guy, are opened? Eight
and a half went to nine and a half. Now
the book I go by. Listen, there's a couple books.
I know, I keep beating this like crazy, but there's
a couple of books I go by and they're nine
and a half minus juice. So but even though I
(01:36:17):
go by them, it doesn't necessarily think everything that I'm
going to bet is based on them, because if this
goes to ten, and there is a ten minus twenty,
but that's what nine and a half is. Anyway, if
this goes to ten, I'll be making a bet on Chicago,
that's for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:36:33):
What do you think, by the way, going back to
what you were talking about, Jeff, is what do you
think the differences are between say, Kirk Cousins and Justin
Herbert from the standpoint of remember last week we were
talking about, Hey, some quarterbacks are just expected to elevate
their ross and Kirk Cousins hasn't been able to do that.
(01:36:53):
What's the difference between Kirk and Herbert in your mind
when it comes to that.
Speaker 4 (01:36:59):
That's what I really don't know. And that's why. I mean,
Cousin's done it longer, obviously, so maybe that's the reason why,
and he hasn't won those games, but so but so
Herbert hasn't either. I think Cousins has also got the
benefit of playing with at times better coaches than Brandon Staley. Like,
we just have to see I mean, imagine if they
get you know, the Lions offense corner Ben Johnson becomes
(01:37:20):
their head coach. I mean, I feel like Herbert's gonna
explode to another stratosphere. That's just there's not a well
coached football team and that hurts. That hurts the eval
evaluation of herbertal Plus, he's he's hurt a lot. He's
that finger last year and a shoulder hasn't almost stay healthy.
These are all reasons why I think it's just hard
to evaluate him.
Speaker 1 (01:37:40):
No, I'm with you, man, because you look at the
game last week against the Chiefs. They couldn't think about
stopping the pass. Travis Kelce went ballistic and Mahomes threw
for four hundred yards four touchdowns.
Speaker 4 (01:37:54):
Like, well, it's hurt. It's like, how many times does
Travis Kelsey have to beat you before you double him? Guys?
Speaker 1 (01:38:00):
Well, that's the other part of this, That's what it
comes back to with Brandon Staley is he's a defensive
guy and the defense stinks and they've got pieces. Also,
it's not like they don't have anybody there, so yeah,
it's it's just funny. The only point I'm making is
it's funny how we look at certain quarterbacks and it's like, well,
you're supposed to make up for the sins of the
(01:38:22):
roster or the holes in the defense or whatever, and
then other quarterbacks they're not looked at the same way.
It's just funny how we pick and choose that. That's
all I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (01:38:29):
Oh, absolutely, yes, Yeah, we'll.
Speaker 1 (01:38:31):
Get to a couple other games rapid fire style first.
But we've got Isaac loewen Kron on deck. He's kind
of like adoles Garcia, Right. You see him on the
on deck circle and you're like, man, we better get
this final out. I don't want to see Adolis with
men on base.
Speaker 10 (01:38:48):
Right.
Speaker 1 (01:38:48):
That's Isaac lowen Kron. He's got the latest.
Speaker 9 (01:38:50):
You always got a game plan. Indeed, the latest has
to do with an announcement made by the Kansas City
Chiefs that have sent social media into a frenzy because,
as earlier this morning, they added Patrick Mahomes to their
injury report for their game today at Denver due to illness,
but not to worry Mahomes will start, as the Chiefs
(01:39:11):
listed him as having no game status designation.
Speaker 3 (01:39:15):
He is just simply ill.
Speaker 9 (01:39:18):
This news, of course, has inspired a lot of comments
on social media, including a apparently skeptical Emerson, who commented
and I quote to day hangover from the World Series. Lol,
Scotch flu unquote Josiah commenting all the fantasy football players
(01:39:38):
crying about Bijon last week really made you post this,
Bob posting he's playing. It's just like the knee injury.
Almost a narrative to pump his legacy, his version of
the flu game. And finally, do simply posted a gift
of a South Park character? And how can I put
(01:39:59):
this delicately? Of the South Park character having some difficulty
in the restroom, And I will leave it at that.
New Orleans Saints receiver Michael Thomas is active for their
game at Indianapolis. Thomas was added to the Saints' injury
report yesterday due to illness. He was listed as questionable.
Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey is active against the Patriots, just
ninety four days after tearing his meniscus during training camp.
(01:40:23):
Patriots receiver Juju Smith Schuster is active as well after
missing two games with a concussion. Cowboys left tackle Tyrone
Smith inactive against the Rams because of a neck injury.
Jets receiver Randall Cobb inactive for their game against the Giants. Finally,
a big controversy fellas in the popular sport of race
(01:40:43):
walking at the Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile, a
stunning twelve competitors all broke the world record in the
twenty kilometer women's race walking competition.
Speaker 4 (01:40:59):
There was a hatch.
Speaker 9 (01:41:00):
They found out that organizers measured the course out wrong
and the course was actually about three kilometers shorter then
it should have been. Do you imagine something happened happening
like that on a football field. Hey wait a minute,
this drive seems to be uh shorter than the ninety yards.
It looks like so major controversy in racewalking, taking the
(01:41:24):
racewalking community by storm back to you.
Speaker 1 (01:41:27):
I just had a flashback. I think it was Sterling
Sharp with the Packers and it was a snow game,
and he thought he scored a touchdown and the field
was so covered in snow he figured out he was
like at the five yard line and then had to
run in and was smiling in the I think it
was Sterling Sharp. I think that's what happened. You remember,
(01:41:47):
I remember that scene.
Speaker 4 (01:41:48):
I I remember that.
Speaker 1 (01:41:50):
Yes, I think it was Sterling Sharp. Do you remember
when he had the neck problem crack where he had
it was like a chin strap to the back of
his helmet. I do like you buckle your chins. He
had that in the back of his helmet for.
Speaker 5 (01:42:02):
A little time and a little old school here.
Speaker 4 (01:42:05):
I love it.
Speaker 1 (01:42:05):
Yeah, really good players, Sterling. Okay, let's go to a
couple of games here, rapid fire. How about Jaggs at
the Steelers. This line has moved a little bit in
the jags favor. They're a two and a half point
road favorite. Sneaky records, I think for both where Jacksonville
five and two, mostly quietly Pittsburgh improves to four and two.
(01:42:26):
And Travis Etn has been sensational for Jacksonville. He's got
seven touchdowns in seven games, also seven hundred yards from scrimmage.
But as far as the Jags offense, Jeff, you got
to have a plan for TJ. Watt, who is just
destroying offenses this year.
Speaker 4 (01:42:43):
So Tomlin is a home favorite. Him and Vrabel are
the two best to cover his home favorites, and I
have a time just like auto bet Pittsburgh in the situation,
just like with Tennessee. I didn't do it this week.
I don't know why, but I think it's because I
think Jacksonville is just much better in Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh's last
two wins the Rams. If you just look at the
(01:43:05):
box score, the Rams outplayed Pittsburgh and then the Ravens
outplayed Pittsburgh, and those are the last two wins. I
don't think Pittsburgh's very good. They're just winning like they
do like like like like, Pittsburgh wins ugly, not gonna
be pretty, but we're gonna moudey up the game enough.
But I think it's Jacksonville is just good and I
didn't think they and it's under a field goal. So
(01:43:27):
I didn't play this game. Crack. I think I would
lean Jacksonville, which is not something I normally do. That's
why I stayed away from this game, because I just
I don't ever really wager on the away team at
Steelers games.
Speaker 5 (01:43:38):
Yeah, jack Jacksonville's looked like one of the most complete
teams I think this year. Listen, I liked what the
word Brian used. They're very sneaky, these teams with their records.
Like when you said Steelers foreign too, I forgot they
were foreign to Wow, Steelers are foreign too. I think
they're like out gained in yardage and like every single game,
so somehow they're still foreign to you. Guys mentioned what, Yes,
(01:44:01):
Pittsburgh will need what to create some havoc on on
on the field. I think that I I think this
is a good spot. Probably I didn't do it yet.
I think this is a good spot though. To go,
this is my favorite type of teaser. Take a team
that's two and a half, had six points, go down,
go to eight and a half, a home team a
load total. It's fitting all the criteria for that. So
(01:44:24):
uh uh yeah, Pittsburgh plus eight and a half with
you know, there's a plethora of teams you can bet
on the other side here. That's the only way I
would be leaning would be, uh, Pittsburgh plus the eight
and a half. They're going to be pumped up there.
Don't forget. This is like the pre Mischieft Night game
there Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York. Mischief Night was
a big thing. I don't know about where you guys
(01:44:46):
grew up. But uh yeah, mischief night was that. That'll
be tomorrow night's game. Oh see there you go. See
when you go, well, you were you were in LA.
You guys like give out instead of giving out like
candy for Christmas? What do you give out, you guys?
You guys in Beverly Hills about diamonds or something. I
don't know what you did.
Speaker 4 (01:45:02):
We give out salads actually.
Speaker 5 (01:45:03):
Oh salads. Yeah, I have had a salad as the nineties.
Speaker 4 (01:45:06):
By the way, we have a pre package. She's her
salad from ear one right prep salad.
Speaker 5 (01:45:13):
It was the night you used to like take eggs
strode at that. That's terrible. We used to do it
and like shaving cramon cars and windows.
Speaker 4 (01:45:20):
That's before every house had security cameras, right, Like I
can't like.
Speaker 5 (01:45:24):
Giving my age away doorbell I have.
Speaker 4 (01:45:27):
I have like eighteen, I have like three different types
of security certain me too, me too, a security another
security service, another exterior camera.
Speaker 5 (01:45:37):
Like it's so different, you can't you can't do that anymore.
Speaker 4 (01:45:40):
You're gonna get caught.
Speaker 5 (01:45:41):
These are gonna be Listen, the stadiums around the country
will have people dressed up for.
Speaker 4 (01:45:46):
For for how for sure it's in one of the breaks.
About hour ago, my daughter came in here in her
little She's gonna be a rollerbudding Barbie for Halloween this year,
and it's adorable. She walked in here like a couple
minutes ago. I was like, yeah, very cool. Yeah, she's
like he was excited for Halloween.
Speaker 1 (01:46:02):
That's correct, that's awesome.
Speaker 3 (01:46:05):
How about this?
Speaker 1 (01:46:06):
I don't know there's a smooth transition from Halloween to
this game, but Saints at the Colts right line movement
in this one too, crack right. Colts are now two
and a half point home.
Speaker 5 (01:46:17):
Big line movement. Yeah, three and a half points. The
jumped the fence from Indianapolis being favorite to New Orleans
being favorite. You're right, there's and and this was another
game that this would have been good teaser opportunities of Saints.
I didn't get in there on it. It's good good.
Speaker 10 (01:46:32):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (01:46:32):
I don't really like betting the Roadtines, but I think
this is all you know, we're going to be a
grind them out game too here. I don't know what
to think of Indianapolis. I mean, I thought I thought
Minshaw was gonna come in there and like take over
and he's always so pumped. I don't know what I
was thinking.
Speaker 4 (01:46:48):
Yeah, this is a this is a good thing here. Okay,
I'm gonna talk about this. Ninshaw was good, good for
like half a season five years ago, right, right, right,
five years ago. It was twenty nineteen Seasonny, it was
right like he is a backup quarterback. He played well
last week. Week before that, he played poorly. I assume
(01:47:09):
he's gonna play poorly today. I'm not bet on the Saints, right,
I just can't just think out Derek Carr on the road.
Speaker 5 (01:47:15):
Just Derek Carr, another guy four years, one hundred and
fifty million, and his agent should be arrested.
Speaker 4 (01:47:19):
I can't believe we have this stupid wager. We have
to care about the Saints, right, I'm.
Speaker 1 (01:47:24):
Just giving me five hundred dollars. He felt bad for
taking it.
Speaker 4 (01:47:28):
I felt bad. I I this is one of those
games where, like there's nine games at one o'clock today,
it will not be one of the nine I pay
attention to. Well, that's okay, you don't have to Nothing
happened to this game. I will have to talk about
Monday on my in my job. I will write about
this game tonight for Fox Sports. I do a weekly
article every Sunday night talking about the best things and
the worst thing that I saw from the NFL weekend.
(01:47:48):
This game will not be included. I promise you there's
nothing nothing can happen this weekend that would make me
write about any of the two teams or players that
happened in this game.
Speaker 1 (01:47:57):
No kidding, really, what would happen where.
Speaker 4 (01:48:00):
I spend If I'm talking about the three best things
I saw the weekend and three worst.
Speaker 1 (01:48:03):
Things, beware might be one of the three worst.
Speaker 4 (01:48:07):
The three worst things are typically like you know, like
the Dolphins lost the home to the Patriots. You know
it's the Dolphins. Put them as like a stock down
type of thing. There's nothing in this game that could
possibly happen unless like guard this for eight hundred yards
and I have to put them in the stock up category,
you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (01:48:22):
I'm so hoping for one of the two something is.
Speaker 5 (01:48:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:48:27):
I'm gonna go watch the condensed game to get the notes.
What is your okay? So there's nine games this morning?
I still call them morning games. Youre the on East coast?
What are you the what's the four box for.
Speaker 1 (01:48:38):
You, oh god, whatever whatever YouTube puts there. No, you
can't choose your full.
Speaker 4 (01:48:45):
You know, you notice like one hundred multiview options right.
Speaker 1 (01:48:48):
With the with the YouTube TV.
Speaker 4 (01:48:51):
You can't choose the four games, but you can go
through the entire list of how they're multi viewing them up.
Speaker 1 (01:48:57):
I get like ten, I get ten. Yeah.
Speaker 4 (01:49:01):
If you go like if you're on the the there's
the four box and you hit the button down button,
it goes to a pops up look like a little menu.
It says multiview options, click on that, and it just
there's just a scroll of them.
Speaker 5 (01:49:16):
Right there.
Speaker 4 (01:49:16):
But so obviously I think it's called you a Rams, Cowboys,
you gotta have that, Patriots, Dolphins, I have Eagles Commanders.
Speaker 1 (01:49:26):
Yeah yeah, and then what like Jack Steelers, Jack.
Speaker 4 (01:49:29):
Steelers, that's my yeah, probably Jack Steelers, right.
Speaker 1 (01:49:31):
Yeah, yeah, Vikings Green Bay. AM curious about that one.
Speaker 4 (01:49:35):
Today is the day where you have the multiple TVs.
You go red Zone channel on one, you have a
four boxing the other one and the other one you
just choose whatever game you want to watch, and then
you have my iPad it's a four.
Speaker 1 (01:49:43):
Screens right, Well, you gotta go multiview four. You go
with the TV with the digital antenna, you go tablet.
Uh you also go like phone or something like right, like,
so you're you're gonna get almost there, We're gonna get
close to nine. To your larger point, Saints Colts might
not be on the nine.
Speaker 4 (01:50:04):
I dot it might not be on the seven or eight.
Speaker 5 (01:50:06):
Right.
Speaker 4 (01:50:07):
You know what's crazy? It is like this afternoon, I guess,
I guess I'm gonna I'll just do two box. I'll
do Niners Bangles and Chiefs and Chiefs. But like then
you just spread these games out, like why are there
nine in the morning and the afternoon get Brown Seahawks
or Ravens Cardinals. So crack the Ravens Cardinals' it's nine
and a half, Baltimore nine and a half? Is this
(01:50:29):
a spot you look? Arizona here in nine and a half?
I feel like there you just can't play.
Speaker 5 (01:50:33):
It well, I tell you you know, I found a
sick line earlier in the week on the first half
Arizona has been did they just like I said a
couple of weeks ago, we love Brian and I love round.
Speaker 4 (01:50:44):
First half, hanging around, hanging around around the first they.
Speaker 5 (01:50:47):
Just hang around the first half, so I actually found
those six and a half on the first half. Six
is out there now. I listen after Baltimore's last last week,
everyone's saying how great they are, and they're they're you know,
everyone is a fan of the previous week. Our eyes
always played tricks on us, so I think they hang
around here. And this is another game that This was
(01:51:08):
at ten when we came on air this morning, at
four different books down to nine nine and a half. Now,
as usual, I will not be betting a favorite, especially
a road favorite like that. Never so if anything, I
lean to Arizona here and I do have a peanut
bet on the first half on them.
Speaker 1 (01:51:26):
All right, that's the voice of Bill Krackenberger from Crackwings
dot Com. We've got Jeff Schwartz, eight year NFL veteran.
I'm Brian No. We've got picks galore for you, the
Crack Challenge play of the day. We're throwing a lot

Also Isaac Lohencron on the updates. Great job by all
top of the Little Red Zone Radio, Steve Hartman, Rich Ornberger,
not Rich Schwartz, Right, Rich Ornberger, Jeff Schwartz got it.
(01:52:11):
We're good. I will not screw up for the rest
of the year, hopefully to keep a lack here on
Fox Sports Radio. Are you sure about this?
Speaker 5 (01:52:19):
I hope so.
Speaker 1 (01:52:20):
I'm just I'm crossing my fingers. That is the case.
We got some picks to make.
Speaker 5 (01:52:24):
Let's do it.
Speaker 3 (01:52:26):
Five games against the spread. We call it all the
Crack Challenge.
Speaker 1 (01:52:33):
Okay, the Schwartz syndicate four and one for three straight weeks.
He is at twenty nine and one on the season.
I'm a game under five hundred.
Speaker 4 (01:52:48):
I wish all right? Am I up?
Speaker 6 (01:52:51):
Then?
Speaker 4 (01:52:52):
Are you going to go?
Speaker 1 (01:52:53):
Which you tell me you want me to go?
Speaker 4 (01:52:55):
I'll just go all right, crack, you're ready? I want
Packers plus one, okay, yep. I will take the Dolphins
minus seven and a half right now, Jim has I
will take the Browns plus four and a half. We
we can both win. Crack on this one here. I
think the Bengals plus four and a half. And what
(01:53:16):
was my last one? I had on my Oh, Panthers
plus three? Now it's plus three? Are five?
Speaker 5 (01:53:21):
Okay?
Speaker 1 (01:53:22):
Dos plus three. I'm with you on the Browns. I'm
taking them plus.
Speaker 5 (01:53:26):
Four and a half.
Speaker 1 (01:53:27):
I might be with you on the Bengals too, but
I'm going Saints. Just banged up Colt secondary, tough Saints defense.
I look at them to rebound. Give me Washington, I'll
take the seventh divisional game.
Speaker 5 (01:53:40):
I'll do it.
Speaker 3 (01:53:42):
Give me.
Speaker 1 (01:53:44):
I'll go with the Rams. I'll take the seven there
as well. I'm not prediction. Yeah, you Cowboys can win
by that much. And lastly, and I'll roll with you
with Cincy, I'll take the four and the hook. Just no,
Trent Williams, I don't think the running game is going
to be as good, and you're relying on brock Purty.
(01:54:05):
I'll take the Bengals in that spot plus four and
a half. That's what I'm looking at. What do you
think of the cards there?
Speaker 5 (01:54:09):
Crack? Yeah, No, I gotta tell you, I actually like
you being your cards as far as both of your guys.
Yeah five fix, I actually like some of your games
for sure. I'm with you guys on some of them.
I'm against the one with Cleveland Seattle. We can both
win that one, though, So let's see what happens. You know,
you said twenty nine and one, which is real record,
(01:54:30):
so the people know that's it.
Speaker 1 (01:54:32):
Twenty nine and twenty nine and one, No, no, twenty.
Speaker 5 (01:54:39):
It sounds like you're saying twenty nine and one, two
nine and one, twenty wins, nine losses, one time in
the challenge, Jess. And that's right against the spread right
at game time, I mean, which I'm very.
Speaker 4 (01:54:49):
Hard two overall for the season. Sore about this, Sa,
I mean, the numbers aren't that different than what I
take on Thursday.
Speaker 1 (01:54:56):
You're on a heater over here, Schwartz, amazing.
Speaker 4 (01:55:00):
On my college football. Look, I'll take your buddy.
Speaker 1 (01:55:02):
Okay, all right, let's let's get more picks in here.
Let's do this.
Speaker 3 (01:55:08):
Rapid fire, all right, Crack you up?
Speaker 5 (01:55:11):
What do you like? Man, Listen, I'm gonna I'm gonna
do this again. I'm gonna I'm gonna give you, guys, Carolina,
because there's three and a half at seven books here
in Las Vegas, seven different books. Get that hook. Three
and a half points, Carolina.
Speaker 8 (01:55:23):
All right, Jeff all right, I will I want I
want the Josh Jobs under as I mentioned, we it's
the Ravens, and then I have the Desmond ridder under.
Speaker 4 (01:55:34):
I just I try to fade Desmond Rider as much
as possible. Turnover machine on the road at Tennessee. Tennessee's
desperate for a win. They know they have to play
defense today because their offense is probably gonna struggle. So
there are some of my favorite wagers.
Speaker 1 (01:55:49):
I'm gonna take Joe Burrow. I'm gonna go over two
fifty and a half. I just don't think that the
running game is gonna be very good. They're gonna have
to throw it a ton. I'm gonna roll with Burrow
right there? You with me, Jeff like that.
Speaker 4 (01:55:59):
I think they're gona have to throw the ball to win,
and I think we both agreed they'll be in this game.
So I didn't like I like that one.
Speaker 1 (01:56:04):
I'll tell you what. There's nothing, sweet man, there's nothing
sweeter than seeing Stafford rush for like three yards, and
you text.
Speaker 4 (01:56:10):
Me every time. I'm like, I'm like, half pay attention
to the Rams game. You're like Stafford four yards.
Speaker 1 (01:56:14):
Strafford four yard, Gerry unbelievable. All right, we say the
best for last. Let's do this.
Speaker 3 (01:56:21):
This is the best play of the days.
Speaker 5 (01:56:23):
A touchdown?
Speaker 1 (01:56:26):
All right, crack, what is it?
Speaker 5 (01:56:27):
All right? You can't lay the three points on Seattle.
Now it's up to four, I'm gonna say the money line.
Let's go with the money line, Seattle. I think Seattle
is going to be Cleveland today, so you can lay
it two to one.
Speaker 1 (01:56:38):
It's fine, okay, Seattle money line. We'll see how it
plays out. Everybody enjoy Week eight. We will reconvene next week,
hopefully with our pockets lined with cash.
