(01:20):
and Roger Goodell says.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
You know what, I like that so much.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
Man, that game was so spectacular. They treated us great.
I don't just want to play one game.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
Out the country.

Speaker 5 (01:34):
I want sixteen international games per season. I'll say this,
when you play the first game of the season out
of the country, it's a little easier because when you
fly out, you're not you hadn't just played a game,
so your week isn't as short and in that long

(01:56):
flight ten eight, ten, twelve hours on the way back,
and then you have to play another game this week.

Speaker 1 (02:05):
As a player that takes a toll on you.

Speaker 5 (02:08):
Let's get the viewers an idea of how your week works.
So this is how it is in the National Football League. Obviously,
we play on Sunday, so if you travel, if you
play away, we normally fly out Saturday. You come in
Saturday morning, you watch Friday's practice. You have a light
walk through. Everything is walked through, but you're gonna watch

(02:30):
the practice. You have a walk through to everybody. Either
you bring your clothes with you to the stadium, or
you have about an hour and a half to go
home and get dressed. Our rookie year, we used to
do just go straight from the stadium to the tarmac
on the plane. Now, once nine eleven happened, you do

(02:50):
all your security checks and then you get on the bus.
If you come off the bus, you got to go
through another security check. So once you get on the bus,
you come off, you gotta get another security check. But
if you play, if you play from east Coast to
west coast, West coast, east coast, you may fly out
on a Friday, it depends on a team. But the
majority of the time you fly out Saturday, get to
that destination.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
Saturday evening, you have meetings.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
You have bad check obviously, you get up, you have breakfast,
you play the game, you fly out immediately after the game. Monday,
we come in, you watch the game from the previous day,
you do a light workout. Tuesday's our day off. Wednesdays
are heaviest day. Thursday short yard is your goal line,
Friday red zone just helmets. Saturday the same thing again, dude,

(03:37):
if you're traveling ten twelve hours, that Monday has to
be adjusted because you're getting in so late.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Or do you even fly out after the.

Speaker 5 (03:46):
Game, or will every game be a Saturday game or
will it be a Friday game? And if it is
a Friday game, then it's a short week. If it's
a Saturday game, it's a short week. How does this work?

Speaker 1 (04:01):
Man? You know what I've lived it.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
I had the opportunity to play the inaugural game in
Wimbley Stadium back in two thousand and seven when we
played against the Miami Dolphins. I mean it was something
new to us that we hadn't experienced. My rookie year,
we played the Indianapolis coach in Mexico City. So I
have been able to play abroad twice. And the adjustment

(04:26):
that has to be made is when we went to London,
we basically prepared a day ahead, because I believe that
five or six hours ahead of us if I'm correct.
Here on the East Coast, I believe five hours. So
I believe we left at I believe six pm on
a Monday, and that put us in heat throw I

(04:49):
believe at six am.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
The next day.

Speaker 3 (04:54):
So when we got there, man, we were like we
were dog tired, and it probably took a two hours
to get from Heathrow to the airport. And then Tom
Coughlin called practice we're we're going to practice. We need
to go practice, because we would have went in and
went to sleep, then everybody would have threw everybody's bodies off.

(05:15):
So we went to practice and everybody was just so
dull tired that we couldn't even practice. Basically had to
walk through and actually, you know, to get ourselves together
for the next day. But leaving that game, we stayed
the night, and we ended up leaving that Monday morning,
which was really you know Sunday, Sunday at you know,

(05:38):
midnight in New Jersey. So there's adjustment that has to
be made.

Speaker 1 (05:44):
So you guys didn't fly out like you like you
would normally do.

Speaker 3 (05:48):
No, so we stayed a debt. We stayed the next
the next day.

Speaker 5 (05:53):
So what happens now if just say teams do that?
Do you you.

Speaker 1 (05:59):
Takeday off on Tuesday? Is that what they would do?

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Take Monday off and come in on Tuesday and watch
the game and that nature it's.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Up to the coach of description. I mean, the Tuesday
is the league day off.

Speaker 5 (06:12):
Yeah, but if and you're normally getting ready for the
next opponent, so you don't want to be watching the
game that you just played.

Speaker 1 (06:18):
Let me tell you something.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
I've been in situation to where we've played Sunday games
on the road and we have like that Thursday game
next week. On the plane, you're getting already breaking down
tape on the flight back home to get ready for
next week.

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Plex. How many how many times have you seen the
coaches in the quarterbacks doing that? Plex? How many times?

Speaker 5 (06:37):
If you play Sunday and Thursday, are you kind of
already got summer Thursday's game playing already in but you
ain't even played the game.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
That you're supposed to play on Sunday yet? Yep.

Speaker 3 (06:48):
So when you when you play that Sunday game and
you have that Thursday game and you're playing away and
you're flying flying back home to play that Thursday game,
the coaches are gonna pick like plays you got get.

Speaker 5 (07:01):
They're giving there, they're bringing you stuff they're they're getting Okay, look,
look let's look at this this how they they're giving
you stuff on the plane, trying to get a head
start on it. But the coaches have already had it,
had start because they've been planning.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
I've been on both sides of it, losing that game
on that Sunday and winning the game on Sunday. If
you lose the game and you're playing that Thursday game,
when you get in there the next day, they're gonna
pull up five plays. You know what, we can't do
this or we gotta be better at this.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
This was a good run, this was a good pass.

Speaker 3 (07:31):
All right, we don't have time to dwell on last
week because now we gotta get ready for this week.
And you know, it doesn't it doesn't help the teams
get better because you.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
Can't go over the film.

Speaker 5 (07:44):
As a you know, as a team and as a whole,
because now you don't have that time for the install
for the following week. Plex I'm gonna say this. I'm
all for growing the game. It's great because it's just
more eyes. But as players, you see, oh we're going

(08:05):
to Brazil. Yeah, that's gonna be cool. We're gonna get
there there too early. We're gonna get out, have a
little fun. You can't even lead a hotel. You can't
even leave the hotel. So now, if you can't lead
a hotel as this, I'm just speaking strictly as a player,
what's the point of going if we can't go see
the town.

Speaker 1 (08:24):
That's what a player is thinking. Like why we gotta
play over here.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
We can't even get out, Like if I can't get out,
I don't care about playing out the country.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
True or false?

Speaker 5 (08:36):
Absolutely absolutely is true, Like if I cannot get out
and in the words we would use it, if I
can't get out in them streets, Uh, why are we
going to play internationally? That's number one. Number two is
that we're trying to get them streets blasting. We're trying
to man so we could. We didn't go until after

(08:59):
the game. And this was the most one of the
most bizarre evenings. So we can't go out until after
the game because we're not leaving until the next day.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
So obviously we don't have no curve for you, nothing
like that. We just got to be on this bus
at six o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 5 (09:14):
Hey, hey, we're going straight from where we're at to
the bus.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Everything packed ready to go. What you go, You go back.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
You pack your stuff because you know you're not gonna
have time to when you come back in to be
ready to go, and we all go as a team.

Speaker 1 (09:33):
We play the Miami Dolphins, you know, Trent.

Speaker 3 (09:35):
Green, and we all just got together both teams and
went out and had fun and we walk up to
the hotel and it was the randomst thing. I walk
up and I run into Curtis blow I'm like, man,
that's Curtis Broke.

Speaker 1 (09:54):
In London, just standing outside hanging out, like.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Man, wait a minute, do y'all know who this is?
You know, were the old o G's man. The young
guys didn't know who coachis Blowz, but I recognize.

Speaker 5 (10:06):
I just think when you play a game per week internationally,
depending on where it's at the time change, there's just
so much that goes into it that the week prior
or the week after, not the week prior, the week
leading up to that game, and the following week where

(10:28):
you're not getting a normal, normal game week, so to speak,
your normal rash or normal preparation.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
I don't know how they navigate this, obviously, if it's
if it's.

Speaker 5 (10:44):
A permanent thing and Roger decides to do it, the
players gonna have to adjust, They're gonna have to get
used to it. It's really the coaches and what they
have now that we didn't have before was performance teams.

Speaker 1 (10:56):
They didn't have that when we played. They didn't have
no performance teams.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
If they really took the initiative to take care of
the players. It would be that they're not playing, you know,
for ten days or whatever the case may be. Teams
are playing on a shorter schedule now traveling abroad, then

(11:20):
basically it's like it's a Thursday night game almost because yes,
to travel home, you miss a day and now you
can't even go over what happened last week because you
don't have that extra day of preparation the.

Speaker 5 (11:34):
Following week is if the following week is your bye week,
and if they're one of the teams that play early,
you don't want your bye week that early. You want
to the middle of the season, give them the ten
days that they deserve. If you that's the only way.

Speaker 1 (11:48):
You can do it.

Speaker 5 (11:49):
If you go play internationally that following week is the
bye week, then you can make it happen. It's just
now are they going to be going to these countries
where like when they went to Bragin, don't leave a hotel.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
You can't go nowhere.

Speaker 5 (12:02):
They have to make it to where at least the
players can get out come in them streets because we
want we want to be in them streets and you know,
we want to see the country, see the town, see what,
especially if you've never been, you want to see what
it's about. Because and for the view, Oh, you're out
there for work. People listening, listen, understand this. When we

(12:25):
at home, we can do what we want to do
on a Friday. So if we get out there two
days early, it's just like I'm at home. I'm enjoying myself.

Speaker 3 (12:33):
Oh, I'm saying that I heardell Apollos. It was a
beautiful police.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Hey in more way than one. So I'm just trying
to see.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
That.

Speaker 5 (12:42):
So all that is, that's what that's what they say.
What you say, I got good? Hell too if my
hair is just like y'all, what's up?

Speaker 1 (12:53):
Oh oh man?

Speaker 3 (12:56):
But yeah, man, that's not a good I couldn't imagine
going over there and basically just talking around the hotel
for you know, for you know, three or four days,
not being able to get outside and unless you're just
you know, playing football, that's really it's not a good
look in and and aj Brown and Jalen Hurts, they

(13:17):
made it be known that they weren't a fan of
you know, being able to uh go play play abroad.
Obviously it's a privilege, but at the same time you
have to be able to have a little bit of
freedom as a grown man, and you know, playing professional
sports that you can each go outside and have a

(13:38):
meal and whatever the case may be and not just
be succumbed to being in the hotel for four or
five days and not being would do anything.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
Yeah, man, that's that would be interesting to see.

Speaker 5 (13:51):
You know how the NFL office, the Players Association, Roger,
how they how they negotiate this, how they come up
with this is how it's gonna happen. Because it's gonna happen.
If this is what Roger wants to do, it's gonna happen.
And I think it's a good thing for the game
with football to continue to grow the game.

Speaker 1 (14:11):
Yeah. So it will be just a matter of time
before this takes place. We all know this.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
But it's a good thing for the National Football League.
More os for the players. More os equals more money
for the league. More money for the league equals more
money for the players.

Speaker 1 (15:12):

Speaker 5 (15:12):
Houschmann's out alongside mister Plexicole Barris. Hey, plex I just
uh while we're on break my check the score and uh,
it's just so funny because I know, I know, I mean,
but LeVar love his school. He love his school, he

(15:36):
really and they still lose it.

Speaker 1 (15:37):
Bro.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
They can't stop bowling Green. No disrespect to Bowling Green.
But we're gonna we're gonna say that for ill on
about five ten mane, We're gonna say that for I love.

Speaker 1 (15:50):
But oh my god, LeVar is bad, like he can't
go to no more games. Man.

Speaker 5 (15:54):
But man, college football, Colorado Buffalo's they're one to zero.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
Tough game.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
Now against an FCS opponent, tough game, but they escape
with the victory.

Speaker 1 (16:08):
They about to take on Nebraska.

Speaker 5 (16:12):
Dylan Ryola one of the top quarterbacks in high school
football last year, and he came in in the Week
one and he played extremely well. And then you got
the linebacker from Nebraska. He's popping it. He like, listen,
Sudara Sanders can't touch my quarterback. Basically, he ain't nothing.
Our quarterback is better. Granted he was on the team

(16:35):
last year when Colorado ran through Nebraska. Matt Ruhl said
some things that Dion and his kids they took personal.
They play later today. One, I don't are you familiar
with Ryola? I am not, though, so okay, I'm gonna
tell you this. You know his daddy, his daddy was

(16:57):
the offensive lineman for the Detroit Lions back in the
day that he's in our era. Went to Nebraska, he
was committed to Georgia. He was committed to Georgia, d committed.
They thought he's gonna go to usc Ohio State ends
up going to Nebraska. Obviously, his dad's alma Manter, but
his pops was an animal. His daddy used to play

(17:21):
and it used to be like dudes was like I
wouldn't say they you're not afraid of him, but he
was like always had that stern person, kind of like
a Kyle Turley, like, bru, do not do nothing dirty us.
We'll fight during the game, right And so if he
has any of his daddy, any that dog inning that
right there, aside from his physical attributes, it's crazy, but

(17:45):
he's a really good player as a freshman. This is
his first big game playing Colorado. Deon Sanders, Shadira Sanders,
Travis Hunter, your thoughts, I think it's a big I
think it's a big game for both.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
I really do. Uh.

Speaker 3 (18:04):
You know, you look at both of these two young
quarterbacks going into this game, and you look at Shador
in his second season, you know, at the helm of
being the quarterback for Colorado and like you expected him
to take steps to be this next you know, good

(18:26):
young great quarterback of merging in college football. And now
you have you have this guy Rayola, who you said,
Dylan Royola, who's the best quarterback in the country last
year playing in Nebraska, freshman phenom taking the field and.

Speaker 5 (18:41):
They're expecting great thanks for him right out of the Gate.
And I think it's a game that Colorado can win.

Speaker 3 (18:49):
But if this kid dealing real goes out and he
plays great, nobody knows have seen him play at this
stage yet. So I'm just want to sit back and
you know, watch him for the first time and uh,
you know, see what he brings to the table. But
it's a game that Colorado needs to win. Uh, you

(19:09):
know from a Dion and and and Travis Hunt and
this young and this this this team versus a freshman
starting quarterback. Listen, Nebraska is a tough place to play.
And and uh, you know he's gonna he's gonna have
him fired up, ready to go, this freshman. But you
just don't know what he's going to do. And his

(19:33):
first appearance for Nebraska.

Speaker 5 (19:36):
It's kind of no, it's his second appearance, but it's
first bigger, but it's it's Colorado good enough on the
defensive side of the ball.

Speaker 1 (19:46):
I don't know, to make it hard for him, they are.

Speaker 5 (19:50):
You know, can you can you you know, disguis some coverages,
uh you know, make him make some bad decisions, throw
some I would stay from Travis Hunter, from him, I
will and throw the ball to Travis Hunter's way if
he's playing man and man coverage on any of these
wide receivers, because I believe that he's the best player
in college football right now in Travis Hunter. But if

(20:12):
I'm Nebraska offensively, you know, I just find a way
to stay on the football field because I don't believe
that this Colorado defense can you know, uh, you know,
stay on the field for long drives and and and
stop anybody. So I just want to get first downs,
manage the game, being able to sustain some long driver

(20:32):
and put some points up on the school board. Because
Colorado's gonna make mistakes. That's their mo offensively and defensively.
They they just have not been able not to beat themselves. Colorado.
They're gonna have to play better. They're gonna have to
play better against Nebraska. And what they played against North

(20:53):
Dakota State, I felt like North Dakota State was able
to They were able to run the ball, not as well,
but effectively. And the best you can help with the
young quarterback is a good run game. If Nebraska is
able to run the ball, it kind of makes Colorado

(21:14):
somewhat one dimensional defensively because you got to bring somebody
in the box and now you got to play single
high safety, and that makes the read on the quarterback
very very easy to understand where he's gonna go with
the ball.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
When you have a single high safety, it's either cover
one or cover three. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
I would just go out on a hunch and say
that Nebraska is going to be able to run the
ball on Colorado because I think that Nebraska has a
better running game than what North Dakota State have.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
I'm just gonna we would assume that. And if that's
the case, this is gonna get interesting because they're all
saying the right things, But this game is gonna be
personal for Nebraska the way that I think I'm assuming
the way they felt like Colorado handled that game last
year with Matt Rule saying what he said and in
the way they went about they beat down Nebraska last year,

(22:03):
and so Matt Row has a really good quarterback, really
good players.

Speaker 5 (22:08):
This is gonna get interesting. Colorado better played better defensively?
Did they play how they played against North Dakocha State.
They're gonna lose. And he said, we know how these
games can go when things get personal. You know, it's
a whole different atmosphere, and you know this the players,
you take on that personality of your coach that week, Matt,

(22:30):
all the coaches will say the right thing, man, Matt
rule is in them meetings, letting his players, letting them
know this game means a little bit more to him.

Speaker 1 (22:39):
And you know he is. He didn't like the way
last year went. He didn't like it.

Speaker 5 (22:43):
He don't like the way Diana is doing things at
Colorado because that's what pissed pissed him off last year.
He doesn't like the way he's going about things. And
so this game may be personal. And if it is,
it's almost impossible to stop Colorado the way shoulder Jimmy
horn them boys it's on. But can their defense stop you?

(23:05):
Or will this be a shootout that that will be
the key? Howord a defense gonna be? Like, I really
just want to see if this kid, Dilan Royo is
a real deal. I really do. You know what's crazy though?
When you when yeah, you don't go to a house state.
You turn down Georgia and you end up at Nebraska.

(23:25):
That's where it's daddy went to school. And if you
look at him, you know plex no lie Bro. He
resembles Pat Mahomes the way he walks. The way he
looks his build, it's crazy. It's really crazy, bro, it's
really crazy. Like he google him right now. He resembles
Pat Mahomes in the way he looks he walks.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
It's so crazy.

Speaker 3 (23:46):
Six.

Speaker 5 (23:47):
I just want to see him go out and be
now here a little heavier than Pat. Now, if he
could play like Pat Mahomes and now it's a problem.

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Hey, let's get the eye up so he can tell
us about these pant State niitny lines for us.

Speaker 7 (24:03):
I'm worried, guys, I'm worried about our dear friend and colleague,
LeVar Arrington. You know, guys, sometimes when your buddy's favorite
team is losing, you'll text them something sarcastic just to
mess with them or call them. I don't even want

(24:25):
to do that to LeVar today. I would be like
cruel and unusual punishment, wouldn't it.

Speaker 1 (24:29):
I'm gonna leave that alone right now. Yeah, yeah, but LeVar.

Speaker 5 (24:32):
See, LeVar is always at Penn State when they play
Hey Texas, Hey, Texas is really good. But I'm gonna
say this. I told y'all boys last week. We come
into the big team. It's our conference, by our conference,
our conference meaning the pack twell, we come into the

(24:53):
big team.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
It's our conference.

Speaker 7 (24:57):
That is Pac ten Pride live and all hail the
Pac ten. So we will get to Penn State in
just a moment. But right now Texas is totally dominating
Michigan at the Big House in Ann Arbor. They've got
forty five seconds left to play in the second quarter
in the third rank, Longhorns leading number ten Michigan seventeen

(25:18):
to three. In Texas as a first and ten of
the nineteen yard line of Michigan. They just completed a
nine yard pass down to the ten yard line. But
here's how they built their leave.

Speaker 1 (25:27):
It's second down and goal to go for Texas. It's
a hate off.

Speaker 8 (25:31):
Gibson sweets till click online touchdown Texas book Chrishman Jared
Gibson his second collegiate touchdown.

Speaker 1 (25:38):
And just slikes right through the Wolverine defense.

Speaker 7 (25:41):
Craig Way with the call on lear Field again. Right
now Texas looking at a second down and one yard
to go at the ten yard line of Michigan. They
have thirty five seconds left to play in the second quarter,
and again the Longhorns leading Michigan seventeen to three. They
run the ball down to the three yard line, so
they'll first down and goal to go. They still have

(26:02):
two timeouts left. Now we've stalled long enough. Our good
friend LeVar Arrington not having fun right now because Bowling
Green as a twenty four to twenty halftime lead at
a rank Penn State, Bowling Green quarterback Connor Bayslack sixteen
out of twenty for one ninety two two touchdown passes
in the first half alone. And then there was Bowling

(26:24):
Green running back Jamal Johnson.

Speaker 1 (26:26):
Johnson in the game second and seven.

Speaker 3 (26:28):
He's in the backfield with Bezlac on the Penn State
forty one hand to Jamal.

Speaker 1 (26:32):
He's got running room up the middle.

Speaker 2 (26:34):
Jamal Johnson in the clear.

Speaker 8 (26:36):
There he goes number six, has six touchdown PGSU Jamal
Johnson right up the middle into the teenth of.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
That Lion defense.

Speaker 9 (26:49):
He punches it in from forty one yards away.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
And they're not happy. Happy. It's twenty. They're not happy.

Speaker 7 (26:58):
Todd Walker the call on leear Field. He was staring
right at LeVar Arrington when he made that statement about
them not being happy. And what is going on with
ranked teams right now? Because sixteenth ranked Oklahoma State losing
at home to Arkansas twenty one to seven with five
seconds left to play in the second quarter, thanks to
a big performance by Arkansas running back jack Quindon Jackson.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
Second down at ten, Jackson stays in at tail back football's.

Speaker 9 (27:26):
At the Oklahoma State eleven yard line.

Speaker 4 (27:28):
Arkansas leading fourteen to seven, Green turns handed to Jackson.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Right side, big hole touchdown Arkansas.

Speaker 1 (27:35):
Hall Jackson goes in for the third time.

Speaker 7 (27:38):
Today, the call by Chuck Barrett there on lear field. Meanwhile,
back to Texas and Michigan. Texas has a seventeen to
three lead over Michigan, a third and goal coming up
for Texas, fifteen seconds left to play in the second quarter,
and finally guys. NFL media reporting. Initial tests indicated that
Packers quarterback Jordan loves Acl is intact, but there remain

(27:59):
a wide rang Angel potential outcomes based on forthcoming additional
scams that he's gonna have to have, including an MRI.
Packers landed back in Green Bay from Brazil just under
an hour ago. All right, TJ and plex fingers crossed
for our dear friend LeVar.

Speaker 1 (28:15):
Hey ain't no fingers crossed. He'll be alright, Yeah, yeah,
he gonna be alright, tough room, tough room, Alight, tell him,
I said, yeah, you know what.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
He busts your chops.

Speaker 7 (28:26):
If Michigan state.

Speaker 9 (28:27):
In Oregon State.

Speaker 1 (28:29):
Green, he'd be on his gut laughing. Right now, Bowling Green.
They are in a dog fight with Bowling Green and
al come, man, they done. I don't love more this right.

Speaker 5 (28:41):
Now, watching this Texas game just just dismantle Michigan right now.

Speaker 1 (28:44):
Hey, and it's a touchdown. Hey, is really good? Like Michigan.

Speaker 5 (28:51):
I want to see the I want to see Texas
play the Georgia's and the Bamas in twenty three to
the us CS. Like, Texas is is really really good.
They are embarrassing Michigan in the big house. They about
to get the doors blown off of them. They about

(29:11):
to get the doors blown off of them. Michigan is
Texas is just really good. Queen yours a Heisman candidate,
and let's stay in Michigan. JJ McCarthy said he was
shocked to learn that having a torn meniscus would be
a season ending injury, and I would when I saw it.

Speaker 1 (29:33):
I was shocked as a player. We feel like.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
Six seven, eight weeks max I can come back at
the end of the season. What are your thoughts on
them putting him on IR and would you have preferred
to put him on the you know how they do
the short term IR now just to see if he
could have come back and got some valuable reps in

(30:00):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
I mean, isn't isn't PUP the same thing?

Speaker 5 (30:04):
I mean, something's not I think you got to get
put on the PUP list before training camp. They could
put you on short term IR once the season starts.
They do it in training camp. You're out for the year.
You think it's more than what they're saying. Something's not
adding up because there's no way you have a meniscus

(30:25):
and you get put on IR in training camp. Yeah,
in August, in on early August, early August.

Speaker 1 (30:32):
Something's not right.

Speaker 3 (30:34):
Either he's a little more engine than they're leading us
on to believe, or he's not the quarterback that they
thought that they he drafted because something's not right. Because
he from a meniscus ten eight ten weeks. He can
be back on the football field. So either they're protecting

(30:55):
him or they want him to, you know, be to
learn under Sam Donald some more, to be a better
quarterback when he does play.

Speaker 1 (31:07):
Something just doesn't add up to me.

Speaker 3 (31:09):
And I don't know what it is, but the Minnesota
Vikings are going to have to make an explanation because
having a toy meniscus, it does not put you out
for an entire football season.

Speaker 5 (31:21):
Yeah, it's like that's five months and a maniscus max
normally is a two month injury max. And so maybe
they saw more on the MRI that they're they're that
they told the public that they're leading on. I don't know,
but if JJ McCarthy was shocked, I mean we were

(31:44):
shocked just as much as he was, like, because you
just don't see a meniscus put you out for so long.
Now this I'm JJ McCarthy, I would definitely be shocked
now because the Michigan is losing twenty four Texas.

Speaker 1 (32:01):
Good Texas. Charol Moore is gonna learn real quick.

Speaker 3 (32:07):
Losing in Michigan is unacceptable, especially after coming off of
national championship. We all know why Ball left their schedule
this schedule, like, you're playing Texas second game of the season.

Speaker 1 (32:18):
Would a would a new line play line up and
play football?

Speaker 5 (32:23):
An don't make an excuse me, swim ain't no, no, no, no,
ain't no excuses.

Speaker 1 (32:29):
As now, it is not gonna be easy.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
And when you win the national championship, everybody they circling
that game. They circling that game. Texas couldn't wait to
go into Michigan and play this game to prove a point.
And that's the point. They're proving a point.

Speaker 1 (32:48):
And so just just maybe one of those.

Speaker 5 (32:51):
Michigan is not or they they haven't been like an
Alabama a Georgia, where you win a national champion you
lose a bunch of good players to the National Football League,
you reload.

Speaker 1 (33:06):
They don't look to be that program. And that's okay,
that's okay.

Speaker 5 (33:10):
I mean it's hard to especially in the world in
the day and age of NIL, to have good players
not play, knowing next year is gonna be the year
they getting up out of there. How much you're gonna
give me? Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm here, I come,
I be there. Yeah, I'm a leader. Look at dinner,
Reil Dilan real he ends up in Nebraska.

Speaker 4 (33:31):
And.

Speaker 5 (33:33):
If you look at it, he would have been if
he stays at Georgia, if he stays committed to Georgia,
he's backing up Carson Beck. He's getting valuable experience playing
as a quarterback for Nebraska as opposed to sitting backing
up Carson back at Georgia. So I mean, you look
at both sides of the coin. I love it though

(33:55):
I love the players can finally capitalize on themselves. You know,
they selling Plexico Paxico Burs jerseys. When you was at
Michigan State, you ain't see ten cent, but they buying
that jersey because you Plaxico Burds. But you couldn't get
paid for that. That made no sense and so finally

(34:19):
we had to suffer. So the players of today can
benefit from it. And that's what it's about. And it
is good for them. But Texas is they are a
hand full, and man, how does the show? How does
the show go by? So fast man, Welcome back into

(34:40):
the show. We're lying from a tire reck dot Com Studios.
I'm TJ. Houschman's out alongside mister Plexico.

Speaker 1 (34:47):
Burrs.

Speaker 5 (34:48):

(35:10):
to get into where I dominate and where I do
my best at up on game Oh man, you lost?

Speaker 1 (35:19):
It was like, where are you going? Terrible?

Speaker 9 (35:30):
Yes, that's right, it is up on game down on
game quick refreshmer. I'm gonna give the guys three games.
They're going to pick against the spread, and they're going
to pick their total on the over under.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
Uh in state.

Speaker 9 (35:41):
Looks like they're picking it up. But either way, LeVar
will be happy because he did go four for six
last week. Plagues right behind him are right with him
at four for six. TJ two for six room.

Speaker 1 (35:52):
Pick, Hey, I picked with my I pick with my
heart over my head. That's all that was. That's no
more of that, no more of that.

Speaker 9 (35:59):
That's right, all of these lions courtesy of our friends
over at DraftKings. We're gonna start here with the Tennessee
Titans heavy into Chicago to take on the Bears and
Caleb Williams in his NFL debut. The Bears a three
and a half point favorite, and the point total is
currently said it forty four and a half. So TJ,
what you got going on here?

Speaker 5 (36:18):
Man?

Speaker 3 (36:18):
I know.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
As a defensive coordinator, you only get one time to
play a rookie in his first game. I'll never forget
all my coaches would always say that as well as
I think Caleb Williams and the Bears will do. They're
gonna win this game, but I believe the Titans will cover.

Speaker 1 (36:40):
And you know what, here I go again. I'm going
with my heart.

Speaker 5 (36:45):
I'm friends with Caleb Williams. I'm going with the shock
Chicago Bears. He's gonna play hell of the first game,
different than all the rookies, and I'm taking over.

Speaker 1 (36:53):
Let's go.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
You know what, man, I'm taking under and just like you, Shauid,
just for that reason and Kayler Williams being a rookie quarterback.
Are they playing in Chicago? Yeah, they are, They're plan
in Chicago. I'm born with the first year defensive coordinator,
my board.

Speaker 5 (37:10):
Dena Wilson, and I'm taking the upset Tennessee Tights, Jandre
this wide receiver corps and the defense.

Speaker 1 (37:22):
I'm the coin Tennessee Titans.

Speaker 9 (37:24):
All right, Next up, we have the Las Vegas Raiders
coming out here to Los Angeles and Sofi Stadium to
take on the Chargers. The Chargers trying to avenge that
insane blowout from last year they got their coach fired.
The Chargers a three point home favorite. The total currently
said at thirty nine and a half, So plas what
you got?

Speaker 1 (37:44):
Do you know what? I'm taking the old one and
thirty nine and a half.

Speaker 3 (37:47):
If I'm the Chargers and I'm only favored by three points,
that really doesn't tell me a lot about this team.
I know that's Hallball's first year as head coach. He's
supposed to be the quarterback Ristbrook for Justin Herberts and
his new team. But I'm going with my boy, Antonio
Piss for the Las Vegas Raiders, going there to get

(38:07):
this upset because he's a Stuper Bowl World champion and
he's tootleish under Steve spac Know you.

Speaker 5 (38:13):
Give me the Raiders. Listen, man, y'all know ap my boy.
I know one thing. The Raiders gonna play great defense.
I just don't know where the offense gonna come from.
I'm taking the Los Angeles Chargers. I'm gonna give up
those three points. They have the better quarterback play by
a mile. And I'm also gonna go over thirty nine

(38:35):
points in the National Football League two good defense, but
thirty nine is so few. I'm taking over and I'm
taking the Los Angeles Chargers.

Speaker 9 (38:43):
All right? Last one, real quick? Here, the New York
Jets head to San Francisco to take on the forty
nine Ers. Hopefully we see at least five places from
Aaron Rodgers is here. The Niners currently a four and
a half point favorite, the total set at forty three
and a half. So TJ what you got here?

Speaker 5 (38:57):
I'm taking the New York foot Ball Jets to cover,
and I'm going over. Aaron Rodgers has a point to
prove that he still is who he is, and I
believe he is.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
I'm taking the Jets. Let's go. I like the Jets.
The Jets gonna surprise people this season. Hey, Aaron Rodgers
is going back to California.

Speaker 5 (39:17):
Sam shuts gone forty nine Ers coming off of a
Swoop Bowl loss.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
I'm taking the Niners. Not only anything other be four
and a half. I believe they lose by two touchdowns.
Wall York Jets are running into a.

Speaker 1 (39:31):
Buzz Saw and Santa Clara against the forty nine man.

Speaker 5 (39:36):
Make sure y'all go to DraftKings. It's a great place
to place a parlay bet. Make sure y'all had the DraftKings.
That's black score, Barris. I'm tj Umans out of Foxworths
Radio up on game. We'll see y'all next week, baby,
