and life is good. I'm keeping pretty busy and it
seems like you are too, my friend.

Yes, so far, so good. Hey, the Dalai Lama said
today that he plans to reincarnate. What do you think
of that?
Speaker 3 (00:41):
Well, I look forward to meeting him again.
Speaker 2 (00:46):
How did you get your abilities?
Speaker 3 (00:49):
George? It's snuck up on me. I was a little
kid mining my own business, and then I started to
see people started to I mean it really started. It
started with an in truth of tragedy. My dad died
very suddenly when I was eleven and I was minding
my own business working. My mom said, go rakee some leaves.

So I went and raked some leaves. In the front
yard we used to live in New Jersey, and all
of a sudden I turned around. I felt like someone's
looking at me and it was my dad. And this
is like a month after his funeral. And the message
he had for me is I just I'm okay and
you will be too.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
That it must have been tough, though, well it was.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
It was pretty shocking, but you know what, I'm become
used to this. My dad and my stepdad both show
up for me in spirit, and they were good advisors
on in life, and they're good from the other side
as well. They're all alive, just different.
Speaker 2 (01:49):
Would you say, Mark, with this episode with your father,
it enhanced your psychic skills.
Speaker 3 (01:55):
It flipped it on like an on switched bang. It's
like I used to be called little little daydreaming kid.
It's like, why can't Mark focus in class? What's his problem? Well?
I was probably looking at six different things that other
people weren't, which is how I think it started. I
was just a daydreamer. And then no, I wasn't daydreaming.
I was looking. I was seeing.
Speaker 2 (02:17):
Did you tell people at that young age that you
had these abilities?
Speaker 3 (02:22):
No, I really didn't. I mean I was afraid of them.
So it was like I must that night. I really
the first time it happened, I thought, I'm losing my mind.
How can an eleven year old lose his mind? And
so I kept it to myself. But then as an adult,
I went back and I told my mom about things,
(02:43):
and that made sense to her that I had certain
unusual experiences.
Speaker 2 (02:49):
How many television shows have you been on?
Speaker 3 (02:51):
Now? Mark all of them? No? No, I was very
I was very fortunate. I haunted History and then Ghost Adventurers,
ghost Hunters. I actually did a little bit of like
a bird dogging for them. They wanted me to know.
They wanted to know if a place had something happening,

and it really did, and I can't think of I mean,
then there's pilots. I did a pilot for Fox TV.
It was a psychic challenge and excuse me, and it
was called Gifted And I answered a cattle call for
like three hundred psychic mediums, and boy, it wasn't that
(03:37):
an interesting group to be among? And so we had
three hundred of us and then I went through a
series of interviews and did a series of readings until
I was down to the six that made the show
and then it was named Most Gifted. It was quite
an experience.
Speaker 2 (03:55):
How do you weed out the psychics and mediums? Marked
to know that the legit ones from the not so legit.
Speaker 3 (04:03):
Well, the first thing I noticed is if I see
someone wearing a turban with a big blue rock on
the front, I usually kind of dismiss those guys. No,
I'm I'm kidding, But I mean I find that the
people that are for real, and I mean, I know
there are a lot of very talented people out there.
I listen to what they're saying. I try to. I mean,

there are people who good at who are good at
cold reads. There are people that want to be psychic.
But I try to listen to and pay attention to
how I feel when I'm dealing with them, and if
that feels legit, the message sounds real, then I can
go with that.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
Mark. Well, would you say your expertise is.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
Well, I've I'm pretty good at psychometry, which is a
way of reading things objects. I've had clients. I mean,
I'm you still live in LA I'm now in North Carolina.
People would mail me things or they bring objects to
readings and say, can you hold this watch? Can you
hold this pair of eyeglasses, what do you get from?
(05:08):
So that was kind of a unique thing I did.
But I take my readings are part mediumship and part
psychic because I can see what's coming down the road.
But very often people and spiritual show up and they
take over the session and I have to listen to
them for not only their purpose but the client. What
(05:30):
I find is that I believe it's absolutely true. Consciousness
survives the body. Consciousness survives the body. And what that
means is that your mom, your brother, whoever, just your sister,
whoever passed, still cares about you. They still want to
be there for you in tough times. They want you
(05:53):
to know that they're still conscious and that they love you.
So it's been really great road.
Speaker 2 (06:01):
Are most people scared of the afterlife mark?
Speaker 3 (06:05):
I think so, I mean I've got I mean, they
don't know what it is, and I mean some people
think it's you know, once this world here is done,
is done. But I can tell you from countless experiences
that we there are there's so much activity. I can
tell you it's like we've done. My wife, Barbara and

I have actually done a number of paranormal investigations and
so we've actually helped clear homes and so this and
these are very credible people. These are that that are
experiencing things that you wouldn't you know, expect. I mean,
it's like someone's trying to sell a house. Worked with
(06:47):
a lovely friend, Cindy Hagley, and she has had an
issue where people will show up, they go to sell
a house and all of a sudden, the house isn't selling,
or strange things occur and it scares people off. And
so I've actually done that too, where I've helped clear
homes with Barbara to see who is who's there and
(07:09):
why are they there? You know, if consciousness survives the body,
that means that there are people making just as like you,
and I know they make good choices and bad choices. Well,
that can continue on the other side where it's like
you're here because of what Okay, let's talk. I almost
feel like I've become a ghost or a spirit psychologist.
(07:30):
So it's really interesting.
Speaker 2 (07:32):
Are you more psychically inclined or more of a medium ship?
Speaker 3 (07:38):
Jeez? I almost feel like I'm a floor wax and
a dessert topic. I can do both. It's funny. I
have a friend who's like all medium and she comes
to me for psychic work. But then again, I'm doing
the reading and it's like, Okay, it's your mother that's
(07:58):
telling me that you're going to be going here and
you're going to be going there. And so our loved
ones on the other side are giving like directions. They're saying, hey,
turn right here, or that guy's not good for you,
or hey this is don't be afraid. This business opportunity
is for real. Or I know you're worried about a
health issue and if that's the case, they'll they'll give advice.
(08:22):
So I don't know that I need to say I'm
more one or the other because I feel like I'm
in both camps.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Do you need to continue to tune yourself up? Mark?
Speaker 3 (08:32):
Oh yeah, I mean you know what's fun is like
Actually I look at like going into a home with history.
It is almost like going to the gym. For me.
It's like the main thing I do is I love
doing readings for people and I like being able to
connect them. So I guess I'm leaning more on the
mediumship side of it, and I'm but to tune up
(08:55):
to stay alert aware. I will go with Barbe or
I'll go with other paranormal groups and will bump We'll
bump into people in spirit and then they can validate
or or I mean I can listen to them. They'll
explain why are they there? Some of them don't explain,
some of them lie. So it's a real interesting journey.
(09:16):
But I stay tuned up that. And also to George Meditating,
I would say for everyone who wants to develop their
own ability, everyone who's looking to explore you know, this
this consciousness that you know it's Yes, there's schools out there,
some of them are good. I also recommend I did
do it. I went to a development circle early on.
(09:37):
Then I realized, okay, this is useful, but I don't
need it. But I would recommend that if someone wants
to develop their ability, if they want to build, become stronger,
it's almost like going out and playing tennis with people
who are better than you. So I recommend that. I
think if you do a little online search between you know,
(09:59):
if you look it up online or you go to
Facebook and you look for development groups. But that the
way I've done it too is just I get clients
all that. I'm pretty relatively busy and I'm grateful for
that and these experiences. Also to George, you never know
who you're going to get, and it becomes like a test.
(10:20):
I also to tune up a little bit. I find
that reading. I have some clients who are fairly consistent.
They see me once a month, once every six months.
It's it's almost like it causes me to look past
anything I thought I knew but I and it pushes me.
Also that said, it's like I feel like readings come
(10:41):
and it go, and it's like I barely remember anything afterwards.
People are always saying, and you told me this, and
I said, I said that, oh very good. I'm glad.
I'm glad it mattered. You know, I don't know, I
really the idea of being a channel is real. And
then with that, I let the information come. And if
I tried to hold it all in my head, I

think my head would explode.
Speaker 2 (11:05):
You're a little like Edgar Casey.
Speaker 3 (11:08):
Well, I'm so admired, and in fact, I've learned from
people from his organization. I have people I call my
spiritual parents that were very much experts on Edgar Casey.
So the idea that I can do medical intuitive it
(11:29):
happens it comes the ironic thing Georgie's I've worked as
a writer, and I've written about medical topics, and so
having this medical language at my fingertips has been very
useful when I go to do readings for people related
to health, and in fact, that has become stronger for
(11:50):
me over the years, being able to listen, hear what
they have and then make a suggestion. I also say too,
it's like, I'm not a doctor, I don't pretend to
be a doctor, but these are the messages I'm getting.
Please use this information when you go to see your doctor,
when you go to see a therapist, and see how

this dovetails with their diagnosis, or use it as a
way to approach a diagnosis.

When you tap into this, who's passing the information onto
you or what is doing?
Speaker 3 (12:26):
Okay, Well, that can vary. I have my own guides,
but very often, like I said, it's going to be
my client, my sitters, my clients, family loved ones. Sometimes
it's my guide, sometimes it's their guides. I really feel
like on the other side that it can get a
little bit crowded, and so I do feel like family
(12:47):
members show up with advice, specifically the clients that I'm
sitting for or or sitting for me. They there their
loved ones. But I also believe in guardian angels, and
I believe that there are some demonic presences out there
that are really worth avoiding. And I've actually had an

experience where it wasn't possession, but it was oppression. That's
there's different degrees of this, and oppression can be quite alarming.
It can cause people to behave inappropriately or not like themselves.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Since all this has been happening to you, what has
been the most frightening experience you've gone through.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
That's a good question. I would say reckon going in
and facing real evil and discovering Okay, this is evil. Okay.
I went to a house that did for a show.
I was asked to come in this is a weird
show where previous owners were motorcycle gang members of a

residence they lived there. They dug a pit in the
floor and it was big enough to put bodies and
other things in it, and they just it was underneath
the kitchen sink of all things. So but when I
went to this house, I felt like, oh, there's evil here.
And we did a walk through with some equipment and
(14:16):
we went by an old refrigerator which can kick off
a lot of EMF readings, and so I'm holding this
EMF meter and they usually will be fairly steady up
to a point. Well, I go up to this refrigerator,
and all of a sudden, then the dial on my
(14:36):
meter starts going flying by, like like flying up and
down on that elevator, and then the number stops at
sixty six six. Oh oh, okay, so that's who's here,
all right, or they want me to think that's who's here.
And it was really like it makes my hair stand
up just to think about it, but it was like
six six six, guess who this is? And then I
(14:58):
found after the fact that there was motorcycle gang in
the area about the time of Charles Manson Satan's Disciples.
Satan's Disciples than from what I was told, badged over
or became part of the Hell's Angels. But I felt
like the other thing, too, is when you do an investigation,
you don't know if you're dealing with someone who's a

dark spirit, a murderer, a killer, or a victim. So
I tried to go in listening, Okay, who is this
is this person? More of a victim energy. No, this
is someone who's you know, very aggressive in spirit and
nagate it. So there's that. We've had a door slam
(15:42):
on us, which was always exciting. Door slam in your face.
It's like right out of the movies, you know, it's saying.
And when that happened, I wasn't afraid as much as like, wow,
that just happened. Okay, they're here. It was very validating.
But when the door goes warm, that's something. And then
we've also had the opera being again Barbara and me.
(16:04):
We'll see. I've seen like an object like a it
was a bowl slide across the table right in front
of me, and thought, that's a pretty good trick. Okay,
you're here. Okay, got it right. And then but it
opens the doors. Okay, now let's talk. It's almost like
you've introduced yourself. I see you. Now, let's see what's
going on. Okay, And so that's that's it's it's been great.

But oh the scariest one of all, though, I got
to tell you, is probably an experience we had at
the home that is associated with I know now that
Black Dalli and murder in Los Angeles. We were asked
to participate in an investigation. We went to this house
(16:47):
in uh East Los Angeles, eastern side of Hollywood, Ashley,
and as we walk up, I see this in spirit.
This little guy is kind of wiry looking, and he
told me that, you know, it's like, oh, it's like
he's almost like smirking about it. I was here, I was,
(17:09):
I'm the one you're looking for. And then it's the
first time that I've had a spirit follow me home.
Usually before I do anything spiritual, I say prayers, I
use holy water. I protect myself because I know the
potential for bad things to occur. So with that we
(17:30):
I didn't do it. I was walking up to the
house and all of a sudden I was involved in
the reading on the way up to the front door.
And the message I had for the producer I was
with is if a doctor lived in his house at
the time of the murder, he's the guy. He's still here,
and there were more than one murder associated with this person,
and that.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
It was a gruesive murder too, wasn't it?
Speaker 3 (17:52):
How it was? And then what was funny? How I
knew I was feeling oppressed as opposed to anything else.
I've been married for over thirty years. We come home
after that, and then we kind of turned on each
other in a way. It's like if we don't have
screamer fights we have. If we have a fight, it's
more quiet and a little less screaming. This one was

like we were acting in ways that we don't normally.
We really turned on each other and wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
there's something else going on here. You and I don't
usually fight like this. Where were we? We were just
at a house associated with a serial killer, and a
gruesome one at that. So like they said, okay, all right,
so this isn't all me. This is a barbers as

you look possessed. It's like, well, I might have been
a little bit. And so we backed off and said
prayers and again, try to be very conscious of whose
team I'm playing for. I'm playing for. I'm on the
side of light. I try to I'm good church practicing
Christian Catholic slash and we try to protect ourselves that

when I'll be going to places like that.

my client, my sitters, my clients, family loved ones. Sometimes
it's my guide, sometimes it's their guides. I really feel
like on the other side that it can get a
little bit crowded, and so I do feel like family
(12:47):
members show up with advice, specifically the clients that I'm
sitting for or or sitting for me. They there their
loved ones. But I also believe in guardian angels, and
I believe that there are some demonic presences out there
that are really worth avoiding. And I've actually had an
(13:08):
experience where it wasn't possession, but it was oppression. That's
there's different degrees of this, and oppression can be quite alarming.
It can cause people to behave inappropriately or not like themselves.
Speaker 2 (13:27):
Since all this has been happening to you, what has
been the most frightening experience you've gone through.
Speaker 3 (13:33):
That's a good question. I would say reckon going in
and facing real evil and discovering Okay, this is evil. Okay.
I went to a house that did for a show.
I was asked to come in this is a weird
show where previous owners were motorcycle gang members of a
(13:55):
residence they lived there. They dug a pit in the
floor and it was big enough to put bodies and
other things in it, and they just it was underneath
the kitchen sink of all things. So but when I
went to this house, I felt like, oh, there's evil here.
And we did a walk through with some equipment and
(14:16):
we went by an old refrigerator which can kick off
a lot of EMF readings, and so I'm holding this
EMF meter and they usually will be fairly steady up
to a point. Well, I go up to this refrigerator,
and all of a sudden, then the dial on my
(14:36):
meter starts going flying by, like like flying up and
down on that elevator, and then the number stops at
sixty six six. Oh oh, okay, so that's who's here,
all right, or they want me to think that's who's here.
And it was really like it makes my hair stand
up just to think about it, but it was like
six six six, guess who this is? And then I
(14:58):
found after the fact that there was motorcycle gang in
the area about the time of Charles Manson Satan's Disciples.
Satan's Disciples than from what I was told, badged over
or became part of the Hell's Angels. But I felt
like the other thing, too, is when you do an investigation,
you don't know if you're dealing with someone who's a
(15:21):
dark spirit, a murderer, a killer, or a victim. So
I tried to go in listening, Okay, who is this
is this person? More of a victim energy. No, this
is someone who's you know, very aggressive in spirit and
nagate it. So there's that. We've had a door slam
(15:42):
on us, which was always exciting. Door slam in your face.
It's like right out of the movies, you know, it's saying.
And when that happened, I wasn't afraid as much as like, wow,
that just happened. Okay, they're here. It was very validating.
But when the door goes warm, that's something. And then
we've also had the opera being again Barbara and me.
(16:04):
We'll see. I've seen like an object like a it
was a bowl slide across the table right in front
of me, and thought, that's a pretty good trick. Okay,
you're here. Okay, got it right. And then but it
opens the doors. Okay, now let's talk. It's almost like
you've introduced yourself. I see you. Now, let's see what's
going on. Okay, And so that's that's it's it's been great.
(16:26):
But oh the scariest one of all, though, I got
to tell you, is probably an experience we had at
the home that is associated with I know now that
Black Dalli and murder in Los Angeles. We were asked
to participate in an investigation. We went to this house
(16:47):
in uh East Los Angeles, eastern side of Hollywood, Ashley,
and as we walk up, I see this in spirit.
This little guy is kind of wiry looking, and he
told me that, you know, it's like, oh, it's like
he's almost like smirking about it. I was here, I was,
(17:09):
I'm the one you're looking for. And then it's the
first time that I've had a spirit follow me home.
Usually before I do anything spiritual, I say prayers, I
use holy water. I protect myself because I know the
potential for bad things to occur. So with that we
(17:30):
I didn't do it. I was walking up to the
house and all of a sudden I was involved in
the reading on the way up to the front door.
And the message I had for the producer I was
with is if a doctor lived in his house at
the time of the murder, he's the guy. He's still here,
and there were more than one murder associated with this person,
and that.
Speaker 2 (17:50):
It was a gruesive murder too, wasn't it?
Speaker 3 (17:52):
How it was? And then what was funny? How I
knew I was feeling oppressed as opposed to anything else.
I've been married for over thirty years. We come home
after that, and then we kind of turned on each
other in a way. It's like if we don't have
screamer fights we have. If we have a fight, it's
more quiet and a little less screaming. This one was
(18:14):
like we were acting in ways that we don't normally.
We really turned on each other and wait, wait, wait, wait, wait,
there's something else going on here. You and I don't
usually fight like this. Where were we? We were just
at a house associated with a serial killer, and a
gruesome one at that. So like they said, okay, all right,
so this isn't all me. This is a barbers as
(18:35):
you look possessed. It's like, well, I might have been
a little bit. And so we backed off and said
prayers and again, try to be very conscious of whose
team I'm playing for. I'm playing for. I'm on the
side of light. I try to I'm good church practicing
Christian Catholic slash and we try to protect ourselves that
(18:59):
when I'll be going to places like that.
