The Mariners avoided the sweep, Julio avoided major injury and Ty France was put on outright waivers yesterday. We are sad to see Ty go, but the move makes sense. He was underperforming despite the off-season efforts he put in to improve his game. :30- ABCs of the Mariners - R: is for Raleigh- Palmer met Cal for the 2nd time over the weekend, so how did it go? - S: is for Stanek- he should be our 4th best reliever, we need to improve this bullpen before the deadline - T: is for Ty France, who was waived last night :45- Xander Schauffele won the Open Championship after a stellar round in adverse conditions in Scotland. It’s his 2nd major win of his career and this season; did he just need that first major to open the floodgates?
