Listening is the most important quality a leader can have. As Stephen Covey said, "Most people don't listen with the intent to understand; they listen with the intent to reply." Building relationships is the best way to be successful. While asking questions is the way to begin, listening will cement that. Listening is a skill that people can learn. With some practice, anyone can improve their listening skills. You have to want to do be a better listener first.
