It's not always easy to heal the rifts that occur in our relationships, especially those that involve the people closest to us. Wounds run deep and can take time to heal. Speaking openly with those involved can help identify the issue, express how profoundly it has affected each party, and find a way of possibly resolving it. Not everyone, however, is skilled or eager to discuss the wrongdoing. Yet for the offended party, it can be difficult to move beyond the hurt to a place of healing.
