Speaker 1 (00:00):
Darcy Autograve sports talk hosters with us Hello, dus hither
ish Okay, So what have we got on the England team?
Any surprises?

Speaker 2 (00:07):
No, there have been seven adjustments though on this side
they've lost a couple of blokes they didn't recover from
hamstring and ankle injuries. That's the winger Freeman and second
rower Oli Jessam. They are not there. The big one
here is George Ford's back his first five he's the
string puller, so he's back in the lineup after that's

(00:28):
seven changes. He's seven changes to that side that beat
up on Fiji ran away with them at the end.
Eighteen was the score there, So it's adjusted. But I
think when you look at who they used, it made
sense to let Ford have a rest against that and
then bring him in fresh for this key game. But

(00:50):
there is not I mean Marotoji is off the bench
last time around, he comes back to start. He's one
of the weapons that they have. Emmanuel Fei Waboso winger,
a left winger. He's quite the player. He really is
so excited to watch him. But I suppose most of
the concentration is going to be on what the All
Blacks name and how they react to this, but more importantly,

(01:13):
what they do with the outs that we've got. We've
got to wait till late Thursday and night. I think
tomorrow night, nine o'clock on Thursday night. Is it tomorrow tonight?

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Today's Wednesday?

Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah? Really, I lose days from time to time.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
Yeah, well it does. It's that kind of a week.
I'm not gonna mind. Yeah, I thought it was Thursday.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Yesterday, same way as well. But look, it's a huge
game and this is arguably the Grand Slam. Well I'm
saying that they'll beat the English and then they'll stumble
against Wales.

Speaker 1 (01:40):
Oh lord no, say, New.

Speaker 2 (01:42):
Zealand rugby in the last three or four years has
had plenty of catastrophe to look, Yeah, what's another one
to throw it?

Speaker 1 (01:49):
We'll be fine. Hey, So the black Caps's the last
T twenty? Is it against the West and East tomorrow afternoon?

Speaker 2 (01:54):
Yeah? Well, the fourth one in Nelson got rained out,
which is a crime against humanity. Because I had the
day off. My door are gone to the mall and
I watched rain terrible. But in Dneda, I think the
weather's going to be okay. And then the squad, the
preliminary squad for the T twenty World Cup is due
to be named after that, so there'd be fierce competition

(02:16):
right across all of the positions to see who climbs
on in so they can make a statement in that match.
And then they have a cup of teen to lie
down and the income Sunday one day it's National Start.
There are five of those and then there is a
three Test series and will be joined by Kyle Jamison
on the show this evening talking about that and jib
at the skipper. James Parson's wonderfully sharp mind when it

(02:39):
comes to rugby union. Talk through the lessons from the
English match and how we sow the Scottish match and
how they can be applied.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
How old is your daughter early teenage?

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Yeah, mid teen?

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Do you remember how fun it was to go to
the mall when you were that age?

Speaker 2 (02:57):
There were no such things as mauls when I was
that age.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Al, I used to go to a Manicaw mall and
we used to have that was back in the day
where you had the addy desk, the you remember the
tear aways, the pants with the down the side and
they were as.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
Yeah, they are a favorite of mine. Male strippers, weren't they? Well,
is that why you know about No?

Speaker 1 (03:14):
I was because we put on our cool Addie Ask
pants with the tear aways and we'd get old up.

Speaker 2 (03:20):
I'd say the generation I am because what was cool
when I was young around about there was the the
the Adidas pants that were super tight that had the stirrups.
Oh yes, they were the skinny and barter balls. Ten
years on me, I think I went to the Medievale Mall.
I was a bit younger, but it really was wonderful.

Speaker 1 (03:40):
When going to the mall was just like you could
you could crank yourself up for weeks about that all.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
Or the Maxie Mark, which was this massive, massive department
store in Shirley. Maxie Mart was something else, especially the
fish and Chip shop who didn't sell up because they
refused to move, so the Maxi Mart had to build
the huge department store around it on the outside. But
it was so good at the days.
