D'Arcy Waldegrave: Sportstalk host on the All Blacks defeating the Sharks 54-nil

The All Blacks are continuing to find the balance between physical dominance and a wide-ranging, up-tempo approach.

The tourists' efforts up front were significantly more impressive during the 54-nil win over the Sharks in Durban, compared to their scratchy first-up win over the Stormers.

Sportstalk host D'Arcy Waldegrave recapped the action further.

although I didn't go to us place once. Did you.

Tell you what? The least surprising news of the day,
and really we needed some not surprising news today was
the All Blacks beat the Sharks.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Yeah, and they tore them apart, which is all well
and good. It was fifty four zip and we've got
Jason Ryan on the show tonight. I I caught up
them straight after the game. Had he Yan about what
he felt about that game. Look, there was a that
was a good result, but you've got to take into
account their opposition. It was a post training run. They
were great for ten minutes and they just lost interest.

But credit to the All Blacks. They produced a lot
of good stuff that I think everybody wanted to see.
So it's on the way up. Definitely not a finished product,
but showed signs of learning lessons and applying those lessons.
So I think there's a lot of good to come
out of that. But that'll come to pass.

what's their motivation? Because somebody said to me and I

save the sport basically as a result.

Well, it could be that it could be an ego proach.
It may be I mean, how many bazillionaires own football clubs? Right,
it's just maybe what I've got an entire competition beat that.

But I mean also, but Darcy also, I mean the
turnaround job. That must be the easiest turnar round job.
You have got hundreds of thousands of people in this
country who were deeply invested in a sport and yet
it cannot turn a profit like that suggests that.

There's something not right. And I think Jenna Wharton first
day today behind the desk, that's the new CEO of Knickborne,
New Zeland. That's the first job she's got.

Ah, she's got a lot on her plate. The problem
