No, I just said I was just before the just
for the out of news. I'm right about awards. Awards
have gone gone to the gone to the dogs, haven't they.
It's just a bunch of left leaning winers, winges and
bitches and the fun is no longer there? Do you
have awards in your world?

Speaker 3 (01:38):
Tim?

Speaker 2 (01:38):
What's your world? Is your will? What would you call
the world that you operate in currently? What's that world?

Speaker 4 (01:43):
I don't think there's such a thing as the think
cank oscar, So no, we don't have that.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
So you don't have a think t. Well, the we
out our team here at z ME won the our
in house legal team won the Best Small Team award
at the in House Legal Team Awards.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Well, this is that you op open a bottle of Fanta.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
And what I'm saying is if there's an in the
house Legal Team award, surely there's a think tank awards,
isn't there?

Speaker 1 (02:15):
You know? What I think the Oskers.

Speaker 3 (02:18):
They probably won that award because they were kept so
busy with all the legal letters and threats of lawsuits.

Speaker 2 (02:23):
You get, that's true, nothing wrong, nothing wrong with coming
to the office with a full desk of work ahead
of you.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
That's right. They know it.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
The I must or the other thing I must raise
with you two people is it's Sam Sam producers Sam.
I guess we guess what's significant about today for Sam?

Speaker 1 (02:46):
I know, is he being replaced by Freddy? No?

Speaker 2 (02:49):
I don't think we didn't consider that. We had a
meeting about that Wednesday.

Speaker 1 (02:52):
Actually, still that's with the small team.

Speaker 2 (02:56):
And just to say you a guest know his new
tangerine three piece from Vietnam is not arriving today. That's still.
That's a week late.

Speaker 1 (03:05):
Today.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
Tomorrow is Sam's ten year anniversary.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Oh that's amazing. Gosh, that makes me feel old.

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Because I what ten years at zaid Bee.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
Feel like Sam and I started together.

Speaker 2 (03:18):
You are old.

Speaker 3 (03:20):
Amazing.

Speaker 1 (03:21):
So how old was was Sam when he started?

Speaker 3 (03:23):
Was it?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
He was twelve?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
No?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
He's Oh sorry, his mom said, you go straight from
primary school, Sam, because that n CEA looks a bit
complex for you. You go try your hand and radio.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
So weam really worked so so, so so so hard
and he still does. But when he first started to
he just used.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
To work hard. Didn't know.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
You're right.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
He used to work out.

Speaker 3 (03:44):
He hosted overnights if they needed him to. There was
nothing Sam didn't do like he worked, you know, he
worked his butt off. So he deserves to be where
he is now, which is on the big show.

Speaker 1 (03:53):
So what's happening? Who are you shouting morning tea?

Speaker 2 (03:58):
I don't know. I don't know if I can. Do
you know what you're getting for the ten years or not?

Speaker 3 (04:02):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (04:02):
I no, he didn't, he does. Oh, Sam says he
doesn't even know it's ten years.

Speaker 3 (04:08):
Oh maybe it was a surprise and you've ruined it.

Speaker 2 (04:11):
Because here's the next thing. We got him a gift.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
Don't say what it is because that's well Sam.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Yeah, but but do it.

Speaker 2 (04:21):
I want to do it well because there's two things.
There's two No, there's two problems here. There's two problems.
Problem number one. I want to say it because it's
a cool gift. I had nothing to do with it.
And so it's it's it's once again it's Anne Marie
and Will who do who run these things. So they
got him a cool gift, and I thought, what a
cool gift. So that's problem number one. So I want
to tell everyone what the gift is so everyone can go, Wow,

(04:43):
what a cool place z.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
B is to work.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
Two apart from apart from Chris, of course, but two.
I remember what I got for my twentieth year at
zed b Oh, and what I can tell you. What
I can tell you is it's not as good as
what Sam getting for ten.

Speaker 3 (05:03):
Yeah, times have changed.

Speaker 1 (05:04):
What did you get?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
No?

Speaker 4 (05:05):
No, this is this is a because because everyone loves
Sam and you've just got to work harder.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Mike, I think, I think that's the message I'm getting.
Do you know the gift I got after twenty years?
It had that really. I went to the I went
to the prize cupboard to grab something quickly because I
forgot the type vibe about it.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
What was it? I don't remember.

Speaker 2 (05:22):
It was a bottle of wine, A.

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Nice bottle of wine.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
It would have been a nice one.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
It was an okay bottle of It was an average
bottle of wine.

Speaker 4 (05:30):
It was like, where's the now listen, this is the
this is the problem. This is the problem actually with
this country. Is the gratitude. We are so blessed to
live here. It's a good place. Let's not suck the
fun out of it by going, oh, it's all right. No,
I'm not sucking the fun out of it. I thought
it was good wine until I found out what Sam
got for ten years, and now suddenly it's.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
It's what the same.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
Yeah, wait a minute, you're criticizing petty parties at the
beginning of this and now you're having.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Your Actually, I sound like a left wing wine dog.
I had an award ceremony. Actually, let me. Let me.
I'm going to confer with some people, and I'm going
to because I want desperately to tell you what we've
got him and and and I'll take some advice and
I'll come back in a moment.

Speaker 1 (06:13):
The Week in Review with two degrees Fighting for Fear
for Kiwi Business.

Speaker 2 (06:17):
Wilson Kate Hawksby with us update. Michael is my original producer,
one of my original producers. I've burned through a few
in them my time here. But Michael remember Michael? You too?
Do you remember Michael?

Speaker 1 (06:29):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (06:29):
Remember Michael?

Speaker 1 (06:31):
Which, Oh my goodness, yes?

Speaker 2 (06:33):
Where do you travel with Michael? You never went anywhere
with Michael.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
You guys talked Michael holiday.

Speaker 2 (06:38):
You did too, He was too, I remember that anyway.
So Michael celebrated his ten year anniversary last week. He
got guess what he got given? What a retro Warriors jersey.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Oh that's really cool.

Speaker 1 (06:51):
Yeah, that's pretty good.

Speaker 2 (06:52):
Do you know why it's a g Guess we're Michael.

Speaker 3 (06:54):
I thought he'd prefer cricket merch because isn't he a
bit of.

Speaker 1 (06:57):
A He's much more a cricket cricket tragic.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Do you know what? Do you know what? He's really
good at long weekends?

Speaker 3 (07:12):
Now, like a long weekend.

Speaker 2 (07:14):
Guess where Michael is as I speak. He's in Brisbane
at the Magic Round having what a long weekend anyway,
So he loves his Warriors and he's going to rich
a Warrior six. Now back to Sam, So what's what's
the ruling? The ruling is. The ruling is unfortunately I
blew the whole thing because what Will had no what

(07:35):
was supposed to happen was when when Sam left the
studio today, there were twelve people lined up with party
poppers and they were just going to spray spray them
all in the air and go surprise and I've just
gone and blown the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (07:48):
We went to her to tell you anything, you're such
a good should not exactly.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
We went to one of those labor higher organizations hired
twelve people to to do the party poppers that they've
just lifted the building now. So it's been a complete night,
waste of time. Do you know what we've got? Sam? Sam?
Can open? Have you opened it?

Speaker 1 (08:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Sam, Sam's got a cool look. He's got We bought
him a We bought him a special knife.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Slashes wrist, not a slash MIC's wrist.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
No, we bought him a special Japanese chef's knife. Because
he's a he's a he's a he's a guy who
likes to go to restaurants and pretending he knows about food. Basically,
that's what it boils down to.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Oh that's awesome. That's quite spinny, that's what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
That's what I'm saying. So that's quite a spinning retro
jerseys quite Mike Coskings slave thirteen dollar bottle of red wine.
Thanks for coming. It's been a.

Speaker 4 (08:49):
Miserable more than thirteen dollars, but yeah, I would have
been seventeen fifty.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
I reckon seventeen fifty. How so Sam's celebrating Tim with
the same. By the way, can I just say, you
know that warrior's jacket I got from Cameron George a
couple of weeks ago that was limited.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
Edition one, the one that You've slept and every night.

Speaker 2 (09:07):
The one that I've slept and every night. I said
to Cameron at the time, I said how much is this?
And he didn't know when they were going to put
it out? I see one hundred and twenty nine ninety five.
In my defense, I didn't realize how good a quality
it was when he gave it to me. It wasn't
until I put it on that I thought, oh, you know,
it's going to be one hundred and twenty nine ninety five.
Turns out today it's hundred three hundred and sixty nine.

Speaker 1 (09:28):
Oh boy, Okay.

Speaker 3 (09:31):
That is a quality jacket though, But that.

Speaker 2 (09:33):
Is that is right up there, Yeah it is, so
it's going to be.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
It's a bit of roots for the warriors. Doesn't it
bring it down at I.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
Think if I was in the marketing department, I would
say go up market. I'd say, there's there's nothing wrong
with heating up market and being aspirational. I think this
is a good thing. So it's they're available at three
sixty nine of people are interested in all of that.

Speaker 1 (09:52):
Well, i'm hearing it's your year. I'm hearing it's your year. Yeah,
go on, splash out.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
Where are we on the table?

Speaker 1 (09:58):
Tim number two?

Speaker 2 (10:01):
Number two? We don't normally say number two, but yes,
we're second on the table at the moment.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
And it's hey, hey, hey, I'm going to take the win,
all right. I just check the number. But I heard you,
I heard you talking about it. This week.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
We're number two on the latter, so I think it
could quite possibly be our year. Television recommendation for the weekend.
Anyone want to offer one? Because I've got one.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
I've got one. I've got I've got the I've got one.
The movie the movie Old Yeller. Are you familiar with this?

Speaker 2 (10:28):
Good?

Speaker 1 (10:28):
Doesney? What? No?

Speaker 4 (10:30):
Listen, just listen to me, listen to me Disney plus
and it's it's about a dog that wins a boy's heart.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
It's about fifty years old, the same as famous movies
in the world. Everyone knows what.

Speaker 1 (10:42):
But here's the thing, here's the thing.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
We saw it last week and it's no sarcasm, no irony,
no nudge nudge wink wink.

Speaker 1 (10:50):
It's a real story of love and loss. It's beautiful.
You gotta watch.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Okay, did you cry?

Speaker 1 (10:57):
Nearly? Did nearly? Did?

Speaker 2 (10:58):
Okay? You gotta recommend Cadie.

Speaker 3 (11:01):
Well, I would say, rooster on neon before neon becomes
new neon or what changes or rooster be lost. Actually
I don't.

Speaker 2 (11:08):
Know right when I give you the information I forgot
to give you earlier on because you're in your pilates
Castle week and you no longer listened to the program,
not that you really did anyway. Have you heard of
Hey you?

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Hey you? Yes, the streamer?

Speaker 1 (11:20):
Right?

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Hey you guess what?

Speaker 1 (11:22):
Hey? You've got not hacks? Correct?

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Shut up, that's the best news ever. So can we
get hate you now?

Speaker 1 (11:31):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (11:31):
We can.

Speaker 1 (11:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Pay pay them ten or thirty twenty eight dollars whatever,
give them a bottle of wine and shift snipe. They'll
stream it to you, and so they got hacks. My
recommendation is Rivals, which is landing today one on Disney
Rivals season two. Absolutely brilliant.

Speaker 1 (11:49):
Summarize it. What's what's it about? What's Rivals about?

Speaker 2 (11:52):
No?

Speaker 3 (11:53):
Tim won't like it.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Tim won't like it because you're a conservative weirdo.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
So they you mean, because they have some standards. You
get the cold casts open, wash your mouth out.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
It's Jilly Cooper novel in a sort of a camp
pantomimi put to TV in a way that's kind of
it's funny. You can't take it seriously.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Well, you're not supposed to. That's why it's funny. Sydney
Morning Herald sums it up perfectly. They say this it
is Benny Hill meets Succession.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
That's so true. Oh succession, that's a stretch. It's more
Benny Hill than success.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
Is Benny Hill meets Benny Hill.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
No, it's more than Benny Hill. But it's well worth
watching if you've got a couple of moments over the weekend. Anyway,
I think we had a good time there and Sam
celebrating his teenth and Michael's having a long weekend and
I still got a cheap bottle of you ruined the surprise.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
Basically, people from the labor higher standing outside your office.

Speaker 2 (12:47):
They've got nothing. They got nothing to bitch about. They're
still getting paid. Nice to see you, guys.

Speaker 1 (12:52):
