Dr. Robert Cialdini, author of “Influence,” is one of the most widely known and read social psychologists. “Influence” lays out six principles of marketing: reciprocity, commitment, social proof, authority, liking and scarcity. Earlier this month, he came out with a new book. Picking up where “Influence” left off, “Pre-Suasion” discusses a seventh principle: unity.
