Australian children's character Bluey made her second appearance as a balloon in the 99th Macy's Thanksgiving Parade in New York City. The blue heeler has become hugely popular in America, with the Bluey series being the most streamed show in the U.S. this year on Disney Plus. More than 40 million Americans watched the three-hour parade broadcast, which featured 34 balloons, 28 floats, 11 bands and thousands of marchers.

Louie was a big hit in this year Macy's Thanksgiving
Parade in New York City. As our reporter Jeff Parry.

they're glued to their TVs. For one thing. Macy's Thanksgiving
Parade is a cultural icon. This is nothing to match it,
and our Bluey was at the heart of it.

With blue more than forty million Americans tuning to watch
the three hour broadcast. This is Bluey's second parade and
her popularity is growing every year.

There's here twelve months effort goes into each parade, thirty
four massive and not so massive balloons, some old favorites
Spider Man and Snoopy and new ones like Dirpy Tiger.

Twenty eight floats filled out the parade. Yes, that's a
Turkey and it wouldn't be the same without Father Christmas,
a reminder that's not far away. There were eleven bands
marching girls and boys by the thousands, and plenty of
singers and dancers. This was the ninety ninth Thanksgiving Parade
