The State of Origin series is headed for a decider after Queensland edged out NSW 26-24 in Perth. Maroons captain Cameron Munster said pre-game criticism of coach Billy Slater fired them up. Game three is in Sydney in three weeks.

Collingwood’s Brayden Maynard is out of Saturday’s clash with St Kilda due to a foot injury, but Patrick Lipinski returns from concussion.

The LA Lakers are being sold for a record $15 billion, with the Buss family handing over their stake to LA Dodgers owner Mark Walter.
