Speaker 3 (00:36):
And this is Chris and Amy in the morning Kiss.
Speaker 4 (00:41):
Well, Hello, good morning everyone, Happy Sunday.
Speaker 3 (00:44):
Amy, Morning, Morning, Sunshine.
Speaker 4 (00:47):
Your kids still watching Blue? They're still at the age
the global phenomenon, They're not.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
And I'm so sad. I love Blue.
Speaker 4 (00:55):
It's a really good show.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
It's most what show in the entire world.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
It's the most what show in the world. I was
reading In the US alone, it's something like one hundred
and forty billion minutes of Blue is streamed every year.
It's just insane. That is wild, a mega hit. And
you know when they first wanted to put it into America,
they wanted to dub it because they said, oh, the
Australian accents are funny, and the Bluey creators, to their credit.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Went no, absolutely not.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
We are not giving the rights this to be dubbed
because you will lose the subtleties of Australian speech.
Speaker 3 (01:31):
And slang and like the humor.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Exactly all of that. So they put their foot down
and kept it. Get on them. Huge hit everywhere, and
there's a lot of big guest voices because celebrities in
the US are big fans of it. All the kids are,
so they do the voice of So Natalie Portman's been
in it, Lin Manuel, Miranda from Hamilton, Eva Mendez, Bob Irwin,
Woes Burn, there's one with Mick Malloy, Hamish Blake or
(01:55):
the Oossy radio people do it and another very famous
Ossie that want to be And it was Jim Jeffries,
you know, the great stand up to me and yeah, yeah,
have a listen. He wanted a roll on blue.
Speaker 5 (02:06):
The most popular TV show on Earth called Blue. I
kept on saying to the executives, I'd like to be
a voice on Bluey please, and they're like, that's great, Jim,
we'll have a look into that the next day. So yeah,
any part. I don't need much money, just a little.
My kid loves that show and I'd love to be
on Blue. And then one time I go into my
dressing room and there's a crate and it's filled with
every bit of Bluey merchandise and at the top there
(02:27):
was a note that said thank you for your inquiry
to be on Bluey. Right, and then I thought about it.
They don't want the guy who says a lot on
the kids show. Yeah, you know, I get it.
Speaker 1 (02:40):
She'd be good on it, though his voice actually probably
would be yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
And it's one for the parents. You know, they go, Jeffers,
he's in there. But no, they don't want the guy
that says fair play. You and me aren't getting jobs
on Blue and recuse me use that word more than.
Speaker 3 (03:01):
No, I don't.
Speaker 6 (03:02):
This is Chris Page and Amy to ride.
Speaker 4 (03:06):
Iron just keeps going. We were gonna that was gonna
be a quick one in and out of Iran, just
you know, get rid of the Ayatola. It was meant
to be like a two week operation. Anyway. Now it's
a war that's still going. Petrol shortage worldwide, but obviously
petroleum is what they've got and it actually makes a
(03:27):
whole lot of things. Petroleum. My new favorite show, which
you put me onto, talks about this a little bit
land Man, great show, Billy Bob Thorne, damn it Dale,
and it's on Paramount Plus. Yes it is good show.
Speaker 1 (03:40):
Oh, I'm so jealous that you have an entire season
two to watch. I'm fully up to date. There's no
more Landman for me to watch, and it's a sad day.
I remember watching the last episode.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
Oh you ever only watched season one? Yeah? See, I
wish I was you.
Speaker 4 (03:56):
But it's quite a timely show, well, at least as
much of it I've seen. Season one is because it's
about the world's reliance on petroleum and just why the
oil companies are so powerful. This is Billy Bob Thornton.
I'll warn you, Amy, don't get all hot and bothered here.
Speaker 3 (04:10):
You might take my pants off.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
No easy weed, celebrity crush talking about it in landman.
Speaker 7 (04:15):
Unfortunately for your grandkids, we have one hundred and twenty
year petroleum based infrastructure. Our whole lives depend on it.
And hell, it's in everything that road we came in
on the wheels on every car ever made, including yours,
sent tennis rackets and lipstick, and refrigerators and antihistamines, pretty
much anything plastic, your cell phone case, artificial heart valves,
(04:39):
any kind of clothing that's not made with animal or
plant fibers, soap, hand lotion, garbage bags, fishing boats, you
name it. Everything, and you what the kicker is. We're
going to run out of it before we find it's replacement.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Hey, you heard the man. It's in everything thing, wheels, wheels,
in wheels, it's in what goods?
Speaker 3 (05:04):
I didn't know it was in clothing. Wow.
Speaker 4 (05:07):
Yeah, polyester nylon has put petroleum. Yes, wow, are you questioning,
Billy Bob?
Speaker 1 (05:14):
No, don't question I would never, but that is interesting,
even the lipsticks.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Yeah. The one I sort of stood out to me
I was reading about was condoms. That the world could
run out of condoms if a petroleum shortage gets bad enough.
We mentioned it before, and you're you just I said, oh,
petroleum means we could run out of other things, and
you went lube first thought.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
Yeah, yeah, Harry. Menopausal woman around the world are crying.
Speaker 4 (05:41):
You're like p Diddy at home with your baby oil stash.
Speaker 3 (05:45):
Yes, I am, Yeah, there you go.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
Petroleum it's in a lot.
Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah, that is interesting. No, wonder there's a war fighting
over it.
Speaker 4 (05:52):
Oil is so yes, so ingrained in politics and wars
and the earth.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
Such a huge commodity that everyone wants to own, right, Yeah,
any commodity.
Speaker 4 (06:04):
It's a commodity. Yeah, well done, Amy, Thank you. Has
to be boring though, how about his door her in
that show?
Speaker 3 (06:10):
Jesus, I love his wife.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
If you haven't watched Landman and you are looking for
a good show, yeah, Landman on Paramount and mob Land
as well.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Okay, Tom Hardy, have you watched mob Land? Christopher Paige
get there?
Speaker 4 (06:24):
Okay, I'm a busy and important man. You got a
lot of things on.
Speaker 3 (06:29):
You have one job.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Yeah, this is.
Speaker 6 (06:32):
Crisp Page and Amy Gerard.
Speaker 4 (06:35):
What time do your kids go to bed, because it's
a bit of an issue in Alchemist.
Speaker 1 (06:39):
We're all upstairs by seven thirty. Yeah, and then Bobby
will go to bed. My middle child, he goes to
bed kind of about eight o'clock now, but his head
hits a pillow and he's asleep.
Speaker 3 (06:49):
Within one minute. What a pleasure, an absolute pleasure.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
My other to Charlie, I mean she's ten, so she
stays up till about nine, goes to bed at eight thirty. Well,
we try to get a bit in bet at eight
thirty on the school nights. And then Kobe is just
like the trojan horse that never sleeps.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
So is it a fight to get them into bed? Obviously, Kobe,
it sounds like it is.
Speaker 3 (07:08):
Kobe's a nightmare.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Yeah, but my kids aren't those kids that can like
stay up all night long and then wake up in
a cheery and lovely kids the next day.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
I don't know many adults that can do that.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Fair no, but some of my girlfriends, their kids don't
go to bed toll like ten thirty eleven every night and.
Speaker 4 (07:24):
You sleep in what time are they working up?
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (07:26):
They do sleep in a little bit.
Speaker 1 (07:27):
But more importantly, the kids are fine the next day,
functioning fine. The other weekend, I literally let them stay up.
We were having a street party and they're all having fun.
We had a bonfire and roasting marshmallows and it was
like eleven pm. Yeah, yeah, I had a few wines
and I was like, Ryan, we gotta get him inside,
(07:48):
gotta get it. And all the parents were like, let
them stay up, like, don't be a punished and send
them to bed early.
Speaker 3 (07:54):
And so I did. I let them stay up to
eleven PM.
Speaker 1 (07:57):
And when I tell you, they were absolutely off their
tits the next day. They were like the worst version
of themselves. They were so emotional, they couldn't keep their
sit together. They were crying over anything and everything.
Speaker 4 (08:12):
I bet they woke up normal time, right, they did.
That's the thing we try to push it. Well, I've
tried to keep my kids up later to try and
get them to sleep in because they're up at quarter
past five, five thirty.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
So what I was always told is your kids are
either early risers or late to bed. So and this
is so true because my oldest and my youngest I
can put them to bed let's say nine o'clock, and
on the weekend, if they don't have sport, they will
absolutely sleep until eight thirty am. But my middle child, Bobby,
he's the one who really wants to go to bed early.
(08:44):
He actually puts himself to bed sometimes, but he wakes
up every single morning at six o'clock on the dot.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
Yeah, that's my kids. But I tell them, you can
stay up as long as you want. Every night, you
can stay up as late as you want. The clock
hits seven o'clock and one of them we like, can
I go to bed? They want to. I just figured
they're going to get their body's going to get as
much sleep as it needs. My wife freaks out and goes, oh,
I read online at this age they need eleven hours.
(09:10):
I'm like, well, if his body need eleven hours, he'd
asleep for eleven hours, you know what I mean. Like
don't go put your COVID mask back on.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
You.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
Just relax.
Speaker 1 (09:20):
We were out at dinner the other night and it
was seven point thirty and Bobby could not even stay
awake to eat his dinner. He was lying on the
chair in front of the dinner table.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
And I said to Ryan, I was like.
Speaker 1 (09:31):
This is it's impossible because you're okay because you've got
two early to beds and early rises.
Speaker 3 (09:38):
Try having one of each.
Speaker 1 (09:39):
I've got two kids that can stay up and actually
stay up and are fine, and then one kid who
looks like he's eroind efficient and can't keep his eyes open.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Imagine if it was acceptable for adults to just when
they're tired, just lose all function, no ability to function.
Watching Parliament or something like that, elbows on questions that shit,
and he just lies down on the green bench and
starts kicking the floor and goes, no, no more questions.
Speaker 1 (10:12):
You just wanted to get an elbow impersonation in there,
didn't you.
Speaker 3 (10:16):
It's getting more and more like.
Speaker 4 (10:20):
We're trying to help a straying family's cost of living.
He's taking important nish.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
He doesn't sound like that.
Speaker 1 (10:28):
Really, you've exaggerated slightly bit a gst added.
Speaker 4 (10:31):
There I'm saying I want to bring back the adult
tantrum where we're at work. Bring it back out at
the football. Your team's losing, lie down in the aisle
and just kick your throwing drinks and just tantrum. Please
do it wherever you are today things aren't going well,
Lie on the ground and start kicking, blow up, screaming.
Speaker 3 (10:51):
Yeah, okay, show the kids.
Speaker 6 (10:53):
This is Chris Page and Amy's ride.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
It's time to play our favorite game. I well, Amy's
going to play. You can play along at home as well.
It's called Dead or Alive.
Speaker 6 (11:04):
Chris and Amy.
Speaker 4 (11:08):
Following the old radio rule of keep it simple stupid,
I say a name, Yes, you tell me if they're
dead or alive. Okay, it's more fun than it sounds. Story.
Speaker 3 (11:18):
I had a really good time last year.
Speaker 4 (11:19):
I had a good time, Yes I did. All right,
let's talk actors first. I'm gonna go with the great
Dame Judy Dench. Judy, do you remember she was em
and James Bond.
Speaker 3 (11:32):
I think she's alive.
Speaker 4 (11:34):
Yeah, the old boiler is still going, correct to Amy
one point ninety two years old. Yes, Judy Dnsch, but
obviously lived a good healthy. Yeah, nice, it must be
that English food. One of the great musicians who will
always be remembered is Phil Collins. I love that when
(11:56):
he was on stage, she'd be walking around and people
and say, he looks like the guy from It coming
to fix your computer. It's bored, right, Yeah, he's bored.
He just looks like he's walking around an office and
he sits down at the drums and absolutely kills it,
or sat down at the dramas, as the case may be. Okay,
that's not a clue. Apparently personal hygiene issues as well.
Speaker 3 (12:16):
Okay, so I'm assuming he's.
Speaker 4 (12:18):
Dead filthy Phil Collins alive and well age seventy. Oh sorry, no, alive.
I'm not sure that he's all that. Well. He was
trying to get his ex wife, who he hated, to
move out of his mansion, so he stopped showering. Oh god,
we're in the same clothes, just walking around stinking up
the joint until she moved out.
Speaker 3 (12:38):
Okay, well, there's one way to a victor.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
Not a totally dumb policy, but ye little gross.
Speaker 3 (12:43):
Sure.
Speaker 4 (12:44):
Now I want to go to one of the great
actors of all time. But he created a bit of
controversy with an interview he did. This is Sean Connery
back in the eighties.
Speaker 8 (12:52):
An interview in which you said the worst thing to
slap a woman now and then, as I remember, you said,
you don't do it with a clenched fist. It's better
to do it with an open hand. Do you think
it's good to slap a woman?
Speaker 9 (13:02):
I don't think it's I think that it depends entirely
on the circumstances.
Speaker 6 (13:07):
What would merit it?
Speaker 9 (13:08):
Well, if you have tried everything else, and women are
pretty good at this that they can't leave it alone.
They want to have the last word, and you give
them the laugh last word, but they're not happy with
the last one. They want to see it again. I
think it's absolutely right.
Speaker 4 (13:25):
Sean Connery dead or alive.
Speaker 3 (13:28):
He's still alive. I think, what an idiot is he dead?
Speaker 9 (13:31):
Now?
Speaker 4 (13:31):
This will bring a smile to your face. He's dead.
He did Hell, died at age ninety. He's slapping women
in hell so that they can't have the last word. Yeah,
I think you can say that.
Speaker 3 (13:43):
I think I can say that about it as well.
Speaker 4 (13:46):
Yeah, so Sean did love James Bond, loved him in
the Rock. But yeah, you hear that.
Speaker 3 (13:51):
Not a great guy.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
Yep, see you mate, see ya Rock and Rod Stewart.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
I think he died.
Speaker 1 (14:03):
Well.
Speaker 4 (14:03):
I did tell you the story about him being taken
to the hospital, remember that because he's filled with Yeah,
he was in a nightclub and they had to they
had to pump his stomach because they thought he was
on drugs. Luckily there were no drugs in his stomach. Google, Dogle,
Google what came out of Rod's stomach.
Speaker 1 (14:20):
He has come out and said that that's all bullshit. Yeah,
that his publicist was doing him dirty.
Speaker 4 (14:25):
Yeah, but just google Rod Stewart, gut pump dead, are alive?
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Dead? No?
Speaker 4 (14:32):
Alive?
Speaker 3 (14:32):
Oh my god, I suck this week.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
He's still well, so does Rod. He's alive and well, oh.
Speaker 3 (14:39):
God, yeap good Now.
Speaker 4 (14:42):
I know Amy, you think we've got the greatest president
of all time now in Donald Trump. You're always telling
me that bring your maga hat.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Yep.
Speaker 4 (14:50):
But another great US president was, of course, George W.
Speaker 6 (14:53):
Bush.
Speaker 9 (14:54):
I call upon our nations to do everything they can
to stop these terrorsts.
Speaker 6 (14:59):
Killers. Now watch his drive.
Speaker 3 (15:03):
Now watch this drive.
Speaker 4 (15:04):
That's him on the golf course, still going to be
killing terroorst singer. Now watch this drive.
Speaker 3 (15:07):
Oh my gosh, wow.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Now that to be fair. George W. Bush alive dead,
You're having a shocker, George Bush. His dad's done.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
That's what I'm thinking, George W. George W.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
Bush is alive, eighty years old, still alive.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
He needs to die too.
Speaker 4 (15:23):
Oh yeah, he's no Sean Connery. I remember do you
remember on nine to eleven after the buildings were standard
Do you remember that famous thing? George W. Bush standing
sort of on the smoldering wreckage of the World Trade Center,
he said, I know you're feeling a lot of pain.
Let me know, I hear you, the world hears you,
(15:43):
and the people that knock down these buildings are going
to be hearing from us very soon. He's a good line.
Yeah yeah, Then he invaded a rack for some reason.
It's had nothing to do with it. Better luck next week, Amy, I.
Speaker 3 (15:56):
Know I'll be better next week.
Speaker 6 (15:58):
This is crisp page.
Speaker 4 (15:59):
And I got told off by my wife during the week.
Rich time, So I got the new phone. You're freaking out.
I've still got my new iPhone seventeen Pro with no case.
Speaker 3 (16:13):
You are absolutely insane.
Speaker 4 (16:16):
I'm living on the edge.
Speaker 3 (16:17):
You really are just one drop raw dogging that phone
every single day.
Speaker 4 (16:21):
Crack.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
I can't tell you how many times I dropped my
phone and it would be destroyed if it wasn't wrapped
in a case.
Speaker 4 (16:27):
So I thought, this time, I'm going to get a
great ring tone for this phone.
Speaker 3 (16:30):
Looked in the nineties.
Speaker 4 (16:32):
Yeah, I don't know. What does your phone do when
it rings?
Speaker 3 (16:35):
It doesn't ring. It's always on silent.
Speaker 4 (16:37):
It vibrates, to be fair, mind is almost always on silence. Yes,
what was your first song as a ring tone?
Speaker 3 (16:44):
That Alicia Keys an Usher song? No matter what I do,
think it's you. I think I was dating a guy
at the time.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
Is a dilemma, Nelly dilemma? Yeah, my boo boo.
Speaker 3 (16:59):
You have you bought a ring tone?
Speaker 4 (17:01):
Well, my wife heard me by.
Speaker 3 (17:03):
It, and so it was, oh my god, no.
Speaker 4 (17:12):
It's yeah, okay, So it's Kanye West. My question is, well,
it's one of my black skinhead is it?
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Actually?
Speaker 4 (17:24):
It's a great song, okay from Wall Street?
Speaker 1 (17:27):
Yeah?
Speaker 3 (17:27):
Yeah, yeah, I don't hate it, So.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
Wife West?
Speaker 1 (17:40):
Yeah, I mean, I wouldn't have picked you for a
Kanye West ringtone.
Speaker 4 (17:44):
Guy, But I'm a real Pandora's box.
Speaker 3 (17:46):
You really are.
Speaker 1 (17:47):
You're like an onion, so many layers.
Speaker 4 (17:50):
And I made her cry every time you see me?
Is he the first person who is truly uncancellable? I
mean the guy.
Speaker 1 (17:59):
Listen, He's definitely canceled by the big, big corporations. I
can't imagine him getting any kind of advertisement or you know,
he's not.
Speaker 3 (18:06):
Doing any work for brands anymore.
Speaker 4 (18:08):
Okay, look, I know Netflix is a big organization, but
they say to people like Ricky Gervais Dave Chappelle, will
run your specials and you can say what you want.
He's one hundred million dollars, so they get on and
cancel them.
Speaker 3 (18:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (18:22):
Well, Kanye West, but he's an artist. He's a musician.
Nutjob he is, and he's come out and said things
that he admires about Hitler. He had a song called
Hale Hitler and a bunch of insane staff. But is
he is Kanye canceled totally?
Speaker 1 (18:38):
I think the thing is before he went all nutjobby,
he had a huge fan base.
Speaker 4 (18:44):
But in years to come, will people look back at
Kanye West and his song Hail Hitler? I mean he's
a very provocative artist. Will people go, oh my god,
he was? I wouldn't say, ahead of his time in
praising it. But will people say, oh my god, it
was a brilliant commentary on this and this is what
he was trying to say.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (19:03):
Will he be remembered in history, absolutely, Will it be
for the right reasons?
Speaker 3 (19:08):
Probably not.
Speaker 6 (19:09):
This is Chris Page and Amy's ride on Insta.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
I came across this, well, someone send it to me,
and goes, I send it to you. Yeah, so someone
said it. They said, read the comments. Check out the
comments on this, because you know, we're big fans of
running to the comments. Yes, when it's good. The comments
were one thing, and we're going to talk about that.
But you just got to hear this actual video before
the comments of this couple.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
So just a little bit of context.
Speaker 1 (19:36):
It's a couple and they are left his Well, they
kind of this couple are basically trying to give advice
when it comes to dating and relationships and marriage and
all of that stuff.
Speaker 3 (19:49):
And one of them is avoidant and the other one.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Is anxious, and so they walk you through scenarios and
how they think you will fare better if you play
things out like this.
Speaker 4 (19:58):
It reminded me of one of those you know, those
corporate training days that they take you away on and
people role play a scene to go how it should go.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
But they're actually married in real life.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
These two people are married in real life. That one
of the top comments was this is intimacy the LinkedIn
version and you say what I mean? Have a listen
to this.
Speaker 10 (20:15):
Hey, do you want to turn off the TV and
a snuggling bed?
Speaker 3 (20:20):
Yeah that sounds so nice. What kind of snuggle are.
Speaker 10 (20:23):
You up for? Let's be naked and let's talk for
a bit. I feel like we haven't had much time
to connect this week. Hey, thank you so much finiciating
you know how much being close.
Speaker 4 (20:33):
Means to me.
Speaker 10 (20:34):
Thank you for asking me what I am up for.
Didn't feel like pressure and let's see where things go.
Speaker 8 (20:39):
Okay, I love you.
Speaker 4 (20:40):
I love you too that anyone else.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
I am dryer than the Sahara desert, the absolute lack
of chemistry there.
Speaker 4 (20:50):
And yeah, that would be nice.
Speaker 3 (20:52):
That would be She literally does sound like the HR manager. Yeah,
play the other one, right, the other one?
Speaker 4 (20:58):
Oh yeah, this is the morning after. We're gonna have
a guess at what happened here? We have a listen.
Speaker 10 (21:04):
Hey, I talked to you about last night yeah, what's up.
I didn't like it?
Speaker 6 (21:11):
Oh no, tell me more.
Speaker 10 (21:14):
I went along with it in the moment, but it
just wasn't my favorite thing, and I don't want to
do it anyway.
Speaker 3 (21:20):
Okay, that's fine, that's fine.
Speaker 6 (21:22):
Thanks for telling me.
Speaker 3 (21:23):
I feel a little embarrassed, but that's okay.
Speaker 6 (21:26):
Yeah.
Speaker 10 (21:27):
I love trying new things with you, and I don't
want you to feel embarrassed. I just wanted to keep
the conversation up so that we can always talk about
this stuff in the future.
Speaker 8 (21:37):
Totally.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
I appreciate you telling me, and I will tell you.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
As well if I don't like something, So thank you God.
Speaker 3 (21:46):
I got the comments show me on the Teddy where.
Speaker 6 (21:50):
She touched you and.
Speaker 4 (21:54):
Pick.
Speaker 1 (21:56):
Honestly, I have never seen anything more cringe. It's like
two emotionless people having a bizarre conversation and they're trying
to make out like they're really intimate and stuff, but honestly,
it's like chat GPT and groc are having a conversation.
There is absolutely no personality in there.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
But that's sort of the conversation that we are encouraged
to have with our kids because consent. I mean, there's ads,
there's taxpayer funded ads on TV about what is consent.
How can we teach our kids about consent if we
don't know. I think one of the lines in the
ab was, oh, you know, you can't just kiss someone,
and I think, well, yeah, you can. You just got
(22:37):
to put some context in here. I can't walk up
to someone at the shops and kiss them, or someone
in the office here a kiss. I'm not going to
walk up and kiss someone.
Speaker 3 (22:45):
Most women, if you're on a date.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
Or a party, you're hidden at all.
Speaker 1 (22:49):
I don't want a man to be like, hey, excuse me,
I wouldn't mind leaning in now and giving you a kiss.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
Would it be all right if I put my hand
on your knee first and then I'm going to give
you a kiss?
Speaker 8 (23:01):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (23:01):
That is ick, Like make a move, don't ask me
for permission.
Speaker 4 (23:06):
That's the thing.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
Yeah, you're right, I.
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Just don't go the kiss. If they say no, then
that's it. Of course, as long as you back off
after the no, I think you can.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
I think also, there's this thing called common sense and
reading a room, and hopefully ninety five percent of humans
have it, and you can kind of tell when a
woman or a man wants.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
To be kissed I've been wrong, have you?
Speaker 9 (23:32):
Ah?
Speaker 3 (23:33):
PAIGEI stop, I'm married.
Speaker 4 (23:36):
Paige. Stop you're married? Paige?
Speaker 3 (23:39):
You why your pants down?
Speaker 4 (23:42):
We're in church? Heigi, this is a funeral. Get off
me anyway. Check out that couple on Instagram. If you're like, oh,
it's so.
Speaker 3 (23:55):
If you want to laugh a loll go and check
them out. What are they handle?
Speaker 6 (24:00):
This is crisp page and.
Speaker 4 (24:03):
Some good stuff on at the movies at the moment.
Number one movie in the world is Michael Brave Reviews
for the saying Michael, I think a second nephew or
something of Michael Jermaine's. He's a relative. One of the
(24:25):
criticisms is the movie does steer away from some of
the less savory rumors.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Well, Michael Jackson, so everyone can go and see it.
Speaker 4 (24:34):
Yes, exactly. Michael insisted that the session times are between
day seven and eleven. J okay, So that's okay. If
you do want to watch a movie that's not about
a pop star that loves sleepovers with ten year old boys.
Then the sequel to The Devil Wears Prata is coming out.
Speaker 3 (24:52):
Oh my gosh, I'm going to see it tonight.
Speaker 4 (24:54):
I know the ladies are hot for this movie you're
seeing tonight. My wife went to the premiere during the week.
Speaker 3 (25:00):
George, Well, is my invite.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
Lost in the mail? Definitely the male she said, though,
because there's it's a premiere, everyone there is like a celebrity.
Said the que was like out of the theater around
the block, and there was no VP list because everyone
there is a VP. So she's got a Richard Wilkins
had to cure Abby Chatfield and all the yeah, all
(25:24):
the all of Australia's best and brightest.
Speaker 1 (25:28):
And I've heard like the movies under embargo, so that
no one was actually allowed to say anything about the
movie other than that it was great.
Speaker 4 (25:36):
Well, my wife told me all about it, so I know,
but I didn't sign. I wouldn't say.
Speaker 3 (25:43):
I'm going to see it tonight. I don't want you
to ruin it for me.
Speaker 4 (25:45):
Well, I can tell you no, there's no spoilers. I'm
not going to do spoilers. My wife said, it is
good and it lives up to the original. Well does
a job.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Don't you think that Sometimes you have these fantastic movies
and then they bring.
Speaker 3 (25:58):
Out like a part two and it just never stacks up.
Speaker 4 (26:01):
Speed to cruise control yes, the one like Keanu Reeves
went not Okay, we'll just put Jason Patrick in with then. Yeah,
yeah fine, and that was horrible.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Yeah, so that's an example.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
Gladiator Gladiator two they had Ridley Scott had twenty years
to write that and that's the best you could come
up with. Come on.
Speaker 1 (26:22):
But from what I've heard from all the other influencer
friends of mine that did get an invite to the premiere,
they said it was amazing.
Speaker 3 (26:30):
I am so excited.
Speaker 4 (26:31):
Okay, that's not a review. I know it's embargoed, but yeah,
they won't mind me saying I'm sure that it lives
up to everything in Georgie.
Speaker 3 (26:37):
Great review.
Speaker 4 (26:38):
Absolutely loved it.
Speaker 3 (26:39):
Oh that's good. Okay, very exciting.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
Have you got a sequel that is better than the original?
I thought Father of the Bride Too was actually very good.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
Nothing is as good as the first Father of.
Speaker 4 (26:50):
Sure go die Hard three is the best. You rack
die Hard with a Vengeance, the one in New York
better than the original.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
God, I have to revisit the die Hard movies. I
can't even remember them.
Speaker 9 (27:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (27:02):
Anyway, Devil Wears prior to Din Cinema is now Meryl
Streep and Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Justin Throw, Kenneth Brad, Lucy Lou.
Look at this cast. Lady Gaga, you know she was
in it.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
I actually didn't.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Is that a spoiler? Sorry? Maybe Gaga's in it? Okay, enjoy.
Speaker 6 (27:21):
This is Chris Page and Amy to Ride.
Speaker 4 (27:25):
We are going to get out of here in a
couple of minutes, but we do like to do some
self reflection before we leave. At the end of the week,
it's time for nailed it and failed it.
Speaker 6 (27:34):
Nailed it or failed it?
Speaker 4 (27:37):
So just as a human being, as a parent, whatever,
social media influencer, what have you nailed or failed?
Speaker 1 (27:44):
Oh well, you know, I had my bit of a
mishap over the school holidays and I gave my kids
predominantly by boys. I'm talking about here the iPad's back, yes,
and it was hell on earth and it just reminded
me why they don't have.
Speaker 4 (27:57):
Them Walking up to a junkie on the street, heroine.
Speaker 1 (28:01):
You've been sober for a year, but here's a needle. Yeah,
basically that's what I did with my children. Just reiterated
to me that they're absolute demons with iPads. So the
part where I nailed it is that school holidays finished,
the iPads went missing, maybe a day or two of
some meltdowns and scratching at the skin and like shaking
in the corner with.
Speaker 4 (28:21):
The Shivers train and Newcastle drop in view.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
They're good, we're back. My children are.
Speaker 4 (28:29):
Back, good, cleanly.
Speaker 1 (28:30):
Still still little turds sometimes, but they are back.
Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
Yeah, a fail for me though.
Speaker 1 (28:38):
This week Ryan actually brought out this new little idea
as a family we could We all wrote down all
these different countries and we scribbled them all up, chucked
me in a heart, and each week we pull out
a country and that's where we're going to go for dinner.
So last week we pulled out Korea, so we went
to Korean barbecue.
Speaker 3 (28:59):
Yes, and in our head, you know, like you always
have this idea, like that's a.
Speaker 1 (29:04):
Really cool idea and really fun and it's going to
be interacted with the kids and they're going to love it.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
It's a new experience. It just wasn't like Bobby was there.
Speaker 1 (29:11):
He was lying on the bench where the barbecue thing
was complaining about wanting to go to bed.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
It was like six forty five.
Speaker 1 (29:18):
Kobe and Charlie were fighting over who got to sit
next to me, someone poured too much soul into the
flames someone else and asked, like, you know when you
just have a certain expectation of how things are going
to go and it just never marries up.
Speaker 4 (29:30):
I've tried the Korean barbecue. Korean food for me, I
don't know, I'm not It's not my favorite Asian food.
I'm a Chinese for me, is KINGI Vietnamese?
Speaker 3 (29:40):
I'm more Vietnamese.
Speaker 4 (29:41):
Yeah, yeah, I like all that.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
Yeah, I do.
Speaker 1 (29:44):
Anyway, that was a bit of a fail. We're gonna
persevere and keep going. I think the next place we're
going is Germany, so we're going to go to a
German rathurst.
Speaker 4 (29:52):
I love that idea, though all the countries do that
because we have Mexican nights stuff like that. But yeah,
we should mix it up a bit. Yeah, he probably
if we pull that Korea or I'm just worried the
dog will run away. I don't know what that meat was.
Speaker 3 (30:07):
What are You're nailed and failed nailed it.
Speaker 4 (30:11):
I'm getting into the secondhand shopping now. I'm going to
guess you're not a big second hand person. You're you know,
you always look nice, You're always wearing nice new things
or whatever. Not so much clothes, but I've been hitting
the Facebook Marketplace and picking up some old armchairs that
we needed, yeah, because basically cost of I've got no money, right,
and you go shopping and it's like, oh, we need
a nice reading chair for Oscar's room. Five hundred and
(30:35):
six hundred dollars for like a chair and like a
nice armchair, comfy, but I don't have it. Facebook Marketplace
thirty bucks, twenty bucks. Yeah, yeah around the cowner. Yeah,
couple of good Yeah, I mean put a blanket or
whatever over the bloodstains and oh my gosh, yeah it's
good as new.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Hey, listen, there are some absolute bargains to be had
on Facebook Marketplace. One of my girlfriends is it av
in Facebook Marketplace shopper. Oh, like Barbie Dreamhouses. She's like,
why would I pay brand new when I can get
one that's in absolute mint condition And people want to
give them away because they're so big and ugly in
the I.
Speaker 4 (31:08):
Saw one of the big second. It's on radio, particularly
in the on the country stations, is by swap and sell,
where people ring up and do it. It's kind of
gone the wayside here. I don't know. I should bring
it back for it if anyone would like a soiled mattress.
Give me My fail was urine eating in the garden.
So I like at night when it's dark and I'm
(31:31):
sitting there watching TV and need to do a wee.
You could either stand in the bathroom staring at the tiles,
or you could look at stars billions of light years
away in an entire galaxy in universe and maybe see
a shooting star and see what the moon's doing tonight.
Were in the backyard, so.
Speaker 1 (31:52):
The backyard, I'm okay with you. Just said you weed
in the front yard.
Speaker 4 (31:56):
I think I said backyard.
Speaker 3 (31:57):
No, you said front.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
Well it's dark. You got neighbors, then the sense of lights.
Come on, enjoy the show backyard. The fail part is
I've got my spot. Yeah, you can't always doing the
same spot. Have you started killing the girl killed the grass? Yeah? Okay,
it was just going in the same spot all the time.
Speaker 1 (32:19):
You should just throw some fertilizer over there before you
do away on it.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
You mean to a pool on it?
Speaker 3 (32:24):
Hah, Please don't ever. I don't want to ever know
about you poohing in your backyard.
Speaker 4 (32:30):
Just squatting. What are you doing fertilizing.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Just staring at the stars, look.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
At the stars. Lying in the gutter, looking at the stars.
Let's get out of here. Yeah, enjoy the rest of
your weekend. We'll be back next week Saturday, eight a m.
Catch it then, everybody, See you guys. By
