Speaker 2 (00:24):
Explain everybody's am though It's good.

Speaker 1 (00:38):
This is Chris and Amy in the morning. Kiss.

Speaker 3 (00:41):
Hey, good morning everyone, Happy Saturday morning. How you going.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
I'm actually okay. I'm feeling better.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
So you're back from Nam.

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Back from Vietnam did bring home a delightful chest infection
with me. But I'm on the men.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
I'm sorry.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
I hadn't noticed until we got on the radio, and
I can really hear you.

Speaker 1 (00:57):
I'm a little bit congested. I looked way worse about
four days ago.

Speaker 3 (01:02):
Four days.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yeah, it's been four days, and I honestly I left
for Vietnam looking like a solid ten I'd spray ten
blow dried my hair, waxed all the hair off my body,
good girl, and I was looking like a bit of
a sort. And then over the ten days I just
started deteriorating. Because I'm not a natural beauty, so by
day ten I was in my natural habitat, which was

(01:25):
very pale, frizzy as hell.

Speaker 3 (01:28):
Hair.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Hadn't done anything about the hair because I was then
battling a chest infection. So by the time I got home.
My next one neighbor turned up and took one look
at me and went, you're right.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
So you're sick on the plane on the way home.

Speaker 1 (01:41):
Yeah, I don't want to talk about it.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
So you got on an air tight Bogan missile for
ten hours.

Speaker 1 (01:47):
I had to. I was on my own with three kids.
I didn't actually want to get on the plane, but
I desperately needed to get home.

Speaker 4 (01:56):
God, I could think of a list of things I'd
rather do than get on a plane sick with three kids.

Speaker 1 (02:01):
Yeah, exactly. Pity Mell, show me sympathy worth it though?

Speaker 4 (02:06):
Good trip photos look good. Check out Amy's insta. By
the way, m looks.

Speaker 1 (02:10):
It was a fantastic trip.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Didn't die on a motorbike.

Speaker 1 (02:13):
No, I didn't.

Speaker 4 (02:14):
Food was amazing, no post traumatic stress. It was great
because my maths teacher at high school came back from Nam. Yeah,
and he every time we turned the ceiling fans on. Yeah,
he would have like a flash flashbacks to the choppers
he was in the war.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
Amy, Oh, the joke. Sorry, it's not a joke. It
really happened.

Speaker 4 (02:33):
But I just thought it was funny, hilarious, apparently making
fun of veterans. Okay, well in high school. Yes, of course,
you know you're in year ten. You don't know anything.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
This is Crisp Page and Amy's ride.

Speaker 4 (02:48):
I hope you're having a great Saturday. You're back from holidays.
That's always a bit of a comdown.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
I feel like ten days there was enough. It was
quite hot over there.

Speaker 3 (02:58):
This is Vietnam.

Speaker 1 (02:59):
Yeah, Vietnam. And by the end of it, because obviously
I'd gotten crooked from going from hot cold, hot cold,
hot cold, I was sleeping under an air vent. I
was kind of ready to come home.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Did you drink some tap water in Vietnam as well?

Speaker 5 (03:09):
Alone?

Speaker 1 (03:11):
Apparently tap water's fine over there. It's actually a really
clean country.

Speaker 4 (03:15):
It's not like Barley, Oh, that's a dirty country. It's
not a country, but it's dirty.

Speaker 1 (03:20):
Well, you're not. You absolutely don't like you get a
lot of upset tummies in Balley.

Speaker 3 (03:24):
No, actually, I'm backing you, Barley Bally's dirty.

Speaker 1 (03:27):
One bit of advice for anyone who is wanting to
go to Vietnam, especially if you want to go to
these theme parks, you got a shred before you go.
You have to be under one hundred kgs to basically
get on any amusement park ride or most certainly ride
any of the water slides over there.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
Yeah, because your weight dictates your speed and everything.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Well, obviously the heavier you are, the faster you go,
especially on a water slide. When I tell you, my
poor husband got fat shamed everywhere he went at Vinn
Wonders so in the water park, especially once we paid
to get in there. He got knocked back multiple times.
Not too heavy, too big, too big, they kept pointing

(04:08):
at his belly.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Did he have to do the walk of shame back
through the queue past everyone like, as he was turned away.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
From bit too fast.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Yeah. And they wouldn't even put him on the scales.
They were like, no, we can just wear eyeballing you.
You are way too big, they said, you go that
right over there. He could ride one ride in the
whole park.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
What was it.

Speaker 1 (04:26):
Oh, there was some spinny big ride and he went
on it with Bobby and he said he was going
to spew afterwards.

Speaker 3 (04:31):
So they only have one fat person ride at the
entire park.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
I felt really sorry for him. And then it gets better.
So up in the amusement park where you've got like
the roller coaster rides and stuff, he was allowed on
a roller coaster, so we rode that multiple times, but
there was all these other little rides that he wanted
to go on. One of the ones that went up,
you know, the ones that go all the way up
and do like a three sixth.

Speaker 3 (04:55):
Pirate check kind of thing that goes around.

Speaker 1 (04:57):
Kind of, but it's in a circle, and as it's
doing a upside down loop, it's spinning as well.

Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yes, it's got like two arms, right, it goes up,
they spin around and then the thing's on the end
of the arms spin as well.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
It's one arm. I'll show you. It's a horrendous looking
ride and cyclone yeah, something like that, but Ryan loves it.
First time he tried to get on, he basically got
booted off, and my poor eight year old son, who
had basically been bribed to go on with him, had
to just go the ride alone and raw dog this
terrifying ride on his own. That's a whole nother story.

(05:32):
But then the next day Ryan was adamant. He was like, no, no,
I'm going to try again, and I I have footage
of him once again being like removed from the ride
because they just I don't understand his harness would not
even clip in. Yeah. Now, if you look at my husband,
he is not like a morbidly a beast man.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
He's a built, big, built six he's six for.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
One and he's broad. But he can go on any
ride at you know, the Easter Show or anywhere else
in the world. But in Vietnam, no, you have to
be small and spelt like a bread.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Can you imagine if at that theme park where there
was one riding can go on? What if someone in
a wheelchair went somewhere and turned up and they went,
oh no, sorry with wheelchairs.

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Note there's only one thing you can do.

Speaker 4 (06:21):
There usually is, but there'd be a court case when
you need to have a reasonable let the disabilities and
Ryan's wait is a disability?

Speaker 3 (06:30):
I mean, I mean this is a court case waiting
to happen.

Speaker 1 (06:33):
I put a post out on my socials just being like,
it's a great park, me and the kids had a
great time. But if you're taking your husband or if
you're over one hundred kilos, get on the peptides.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
It's er.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Wait first, guys, it's erin Brockovich time. What's what's that
called when a lot of people sue it once?

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Yeah, civil lawsuit.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
There's a time for a civil case thirteen one oh
sixty five. If you can't go on rides because you're
too fat, give us a call and you can join
Amy's husband.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Ryan in a lawsuit. This will be fun. Sure, it's
a story arc.

Speaker 5 (07:04):
This is Cris Page and Amy Gerard.

Speaker 4 (07:08):
Each generation has their language, right well, English as a language,
and I'm assuming other languages do change over time. So
I've seen a thing here on the Instagram. It's the
top buzzwords and slang words from each generation, but it
goes way back.

Speaker 3 (07:28):
So any age you are.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
Listening right now, we're going to cover you and go
back to see if you remember these and if you
know what they mean as well, because this first generation
Gen Alpha I have some weird words.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
I don't know what jen Alpha is, but they were
born after twenty ten.

Speaker 4 (07:47):
They're the K pop demon Hunter's generation, and their favorite
words are.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
Sigg sciggi, skiggy skimity. Alright, oh that's easy. I was
a hard way bussin bussin really good slay.

Speaker 4 (08:03):
I haven't got slagh, he says there now I'll hang
on slaves slaves coming on, get your skip to generate
play old man no old yesterday, yeat is a big.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
Butt, Yeah, yeap, yapping.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Talking too much?

Speaker 1 (08:20):
Sigma sigma yeah, alphaever cool phanom tax never heard that.

Speaker 4 (08:26):
That's stealing food a phanom tax hate that nut anyway,
but that's Alpha.

Speaker 3 (08:33):
What you were talking about was actually gen Z. This
is more our time.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
We sort of Straatelogez and the yeah gen x. But
oh no, I'm a millennial.

Speaker 3 (08:50):
Millennial, Well this is gen Z.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
We got riz, we got no cap, sus bet mid
and slaves.

Speaker 1 (09:01):
This is all wrong?

Speaker 3 (09:02):
What is it?

Speaker 1 (09:03):
This is all those words? When are you saying that's
come out?

Speaker 3 (09:06):
That was gen Z? So if you're born between ninety
seven and two twenty twelve.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
No riz and no cap, they're all words that are
being used now.

Speaker 3 (09:16):
Well these articles, well gen Z are still around. No,
I know they're still around, still using those words. It
started with them. No, okay, sure, all right, we'll see
how you think the rest of it is. It's off Instagram.

Speaker 4 (09:28):
So I assumed it was the true gospel. The millennials
maybe to go.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
Feel like you could have got a better song.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Can't be the sage man you would have liked like
yeah by.

Speaker 1 (09:41):
Usher right, yeah, like polio Gangster's Paradise.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Okay, imagine that if you prefer yolo Yolo bay on fleek,
never use that lit.

Speaker 3 (09:54):
Let's get lit savage, really honest and basic.

Speaker 1 (09:59):
Have you used all them? And you know what else
I used to use. I always used to say next
minute minute? Yeah, like next minute. I don't even know
what it means.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
Is it from like boom kind of kind of video that.

Speaker 1 (10:11):
I don't know, but I use it all the time still.
And my ten year old daughter was like, you've spelt
next wrong them.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
I wonder what happened to her. Give us a call
if you're the chick chick boom girl, give us a call. No, please,
do I have a chat? See what's going on? I
like the cut of her jib. All right, let's go
back another generation to jen X.

Speaker 4 (10:35):
Because they're like whatever whatever, dude.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Rad bogus? Oh wow, remember Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey? Yeah,
although that was more nineties.

Speaker 4 (10:48):
I don't know psych, I say psychle is and totally.
That feels that a lot of them feel like friends.
I feel like I'm Chandler and Friends going totally.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
But I feel like they're just normal words. I feel
like our generation yolo bay. They're just made up words and.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
Words like bogus and stuff. They've had time to become
more legitimate words. Okay, let me see what you think
of the baby boomers.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
Is our mum and dad?

Speaker 3 (11:16):
Yes, far out man, peace out Bumma, Okay, it's a bumba.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
That's someone you know, just to kill joy dig it.

Speaker 3 (11:30):
Psyched, not psyched, but they're psyched, psyched and of course groovy,
groovy baby. So they're the hippies, the baby Boomers. We're
going back further, don't even further. The generation before. Apparently
it's called the silent generation.

Speaker 4 (11:52):
They also liked a bit of groovy, great song across
over there, the bees knees. This song's the Bee'snees. It's
the Bee's Knees.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Daddy O, Daddy, oh daddy O. It's hip hip, it's square,
Don't be Square from.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Don't be Square, be a cool cat, cool cat, cool cat.

Speaker 1 (12:16):
I still use all of those as well. Maybe I'm
from the is that the solent generation?

Speaker 3 (12:20):
Yeah, looking probably to retire a few of us, all right, see.

Speaker 4 (12:24):
If you know any of these, Oh god, it's Fred
Astaire who was definitely straight.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
Okay, this is the greatest generation World War One. We're talking. Wow,
that sounds swell swell swell. Hey, why not just scram
get out of here? Scram scram. That's Bologney. Are they
American blogey?

Speaker 4 (12:52):
Well, the only films I've seen from that time we
were American.

Speaker 3 (12:55):
So baloney. What's this guy? Wise guy? It's a bunch
of gelopi jaloppi? Is it jeloppy?

Speaker 1 (13:02):
What is jeloppi?

Speaker 3 (13:03):
I don't know, but I don't know. I'll tell you what.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
We better wrap this up though, because we're going to
and the big cheese here.

Speaker 3 (13:09):
It just won't like us going too large.

Speaker 1 (13:11):
Okay, this is like American gangster era.

Speaker 3 (13:15):
Tell you what they don't make music like the.

Speaker 5 (13:18):
Yeah, this is Crisp Page and Amy's ride.

Speaker 3 (13:25):
We have our meeting every week. We do zoom Why
come into the office.

Speaker 1 (13:30):
Why? And we live on opposite ends.

Speaker 4 (13:33):
Of the city, so yeah, it's no good. We did
our meeting on zoom and you're anywhere on the meeting.

Speaker 1 (13:40):
So I'm usually in the car for a walk or.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
On some job.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
I'm always in the same place in my office, which
is my lounge.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Room by the fire.

Speaker 4 (13:49):
But yeah, nice, during our meeting, I got up to
move something and Amy saw in the background this well
it was lego all over the floor, and she said,
oh my, look at that mess.

Speaker 3 (14:00):
I did not that house is a pig.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
I did not say that. I said what is all
that behind?

Speaker 4 (14:05):
You said, what is all that mess? And I said, Okay,
it's lego? And yeah, I know it's.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
There must have been like thirty buckets worth of it.

Speaker 3 (14:13):
There was a lot of lego.

Speaker 1 (14:14):
There was so much legos.

Speaker 4 (14:16):
So yeah, it's a mess, right, But I will argue
that it was all lego all in that little part
of the house.

Speaker 1 (14:22):
No chippy packets in there, No, I dream all that.

Speaker 3 (14:25):
So it was actually just lego.

Speaker 4 (14:26):
But I've been finding in the mornings the kids get
up early, and they're old enough now to get up
without me or Georgie and just turn on the TV.

Speaker 3 (14:34):
But lately leaving the lego out.

Speaker 4 (14:36):
They've been asking me, Daddy, please don't clean up the
lego tonight after we go to bed, leave it out.
They're getting up in the morning at bloody five thirty
and stuff. But they're coming downstairs and playing lego together
and the TV's not going on.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
So it's like a necessary evil, really like your house
goes to shit. But at least your kids are being creative.
They're not watching TVs. They're playing together nicely, they're building stuff.

Speaker 3 (14:59):
This is the great thing about the Lego they use.

Speaker 4 (15:01):
When you say there's like thirty buckets of it, there
is because every time they get given the presents like
the police helicopter and the boat, and you've got.

Speaker 3 (15:08):
To build it.

Speaker 4 (15:09):
Think those pieces from those packets don't just end up
in the main pile in two seconds.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
So they're only free building. They never use the books.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
They just and they've got like a million pieces there
to use their imagination.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
So I'm happy with it.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
I have a real love hate relationship with Lego. Why
don't think my boys ever really went through a big
Lego phase. We kind of got into Duplow. That's like
the bigger Lego for toddlers. Yeah, for toddlers, and we
had markets of that as well. But stepping on a
piece of Duplow in the middle of the night, I
would scream out.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
Incredibly bad legs.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
The Lego has like all this tiny detail, like their
little men with swords and thens to stand on in the.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Middle of Yeah, they're like literally perforating your skin. Aren't they.

Speaker 3 (15:57):
Yes, well, I'm sorry during the meeting that you were
disgusted by.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
My house, and I did not house shame you.

Speaker 4 (16:03):
But there is a direct correlation between the kid's behavior
and how messy the house is. Basically, you've got to
suck it up and let the house be a pig style.
On the weekend, the neighbor's kid came over and when
I got home, Georgie said, met me out the front,
said don't freak out.

Speaker 3 (16:20):
They've turned the TV room into a fort.

Speaker 4 (16:22):
And I went in and the whole dining room had
been moved into the TV room.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
There were sheets, but I love that.

Speaker 4 (16:28):
But they had not watched TV all day, no screens,
they hadn't had an argument. They're working together, and you go,
you know what, this is going to be paying the
ass to clean up later.

Speaker 3 (16:37):
But it's so better than an iPad.

Speaker 1 (16:40):
It's so worth it. And I think ultimately as parents,
that's what we want. We want them off screens, playing independently,
all together and getting along. And if it means that
your house has to go down the drain, then so
be it.

Speaker 4 (16:52):
And those houses you see on TV magazines, what is
it good living and all.

Speaker 1 (16:57):
That or like, I follow some influencers and their houses
are immaculate, and I'm like, where are your children living?

Speaker 3 (17:04):
Yes, that's fake. You just have your influencer rooms in
the house and these bite clever, junk and the other
I bet you do. I'm not calling you.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
Every part of my house is disgusting.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
But yeah, those pristine, amazing houses. I don't think the
kids are gonna learn anything do anything good.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
We're doing.

Speaker 3 (17:22):
We are embrace the mess.

Speaker 5 (17:25):
This is Cris Page and Amy.

Speaker 3 (17:28):
Hey, good morning again everyone, Happy Saturday morning. Here we
go again. A god.

Speaker 4 (17:33):
It's a stressful job two days a week here on kiss.
You might ask yourself, Chris, how do you.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
How do you survive?

Speaker 4 (17:42):
How do you stay calm and centered during the week
when you have to work two days a week. On
the weekend, I'll tell you you and I Amy both
do one similar thing, and that's listening to very calm
classical music.

Speaker 3 (17:54):
I know you love the piano.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
I love a penist Ludovico Andaudi.

Speaker 3 (17:58):
You see you're big, it's huge, huge penis.

Speaker 4 (18:01):
But the I've got one better for you. All right,
I'm going visual as well. Yes, I do burn incense.

Speaker 3 (18:09):
I've already told you about that though, and I was
dismissed with the Telly on the living room.

Speaker 4 (18:14):
Now it's up on the wall, and the TVs that
may look like a painting came out a few years ago.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
Right, I don't have one of those.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
I can't afford that, but you do get up YouTube
on your Telly. I found there are all these videos
and also live channels of just these incredibly tranquil, relaxing scenes.

Speaker 3 (18:33):
So it might be this beautiful beach or a lake
or a forest and the sounds and it's just.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
So you can listen to, like waves crashing or yes,
a rainforest.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
I'm going to take you there right now, so as
well if you're listening, and if you're driving.

Speaker 1 (18:47):
Close your eyes. Don't close that's.

Speaker 3 (18:50):
An old radio joke. Everyone don't close your eyes if
you're driving. But take yourself here. So I think first
we're just going to go. This is a pond in
a zen garden.

Speaker 1 (19:01):
Oh yes, that's very nice. Oh my god, I would.
This is when I'm getting a massage or body all right,
just take them.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
Moment they're wrong.

Speaker 4 (19:10):
Quality storage warehouse prices Wardrobe insert only one and seventy
eight dollars sixty storage time sorry that ninety eight exactly.

Speaker 3 (19:18):
You don't pay for you. I don't pay for YouTube flowers.
Prices are just the beginning.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
Oh that really ruins.

Speaker 3 (19:26):
That really ruined the I'm too cheap? Do you like
the lake? There's the other one is really nice.

Speaker 4 (19:32):
This is a beachy bosser bossa nova sort of breech shield.
This is maybe a Greek island. No, I like the lake,
private beach.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
We'll give this one a minute. Super kicks in.

Speaker 1 (19:45):
More children die from brain cancer than any other disease
in Australia. No parents should hear.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Okay, I'm I'm playing you the actual audio what came
on while I was at home trying to meditate.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
We'll go to a new scene. I think you're gonna
like this one.

Speaker 1 (20:01):
Oh, that's like a New York bar bar scene.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Yeas on the ground.

Speaker 1 (20:05):
You know what this would be good for? Yeah, date
night with Georgie are on?

Speaker 4 (20:10):
Yes on all the tables and people drinking Yes, good scotch, Yes, stars.

Speaker 5 (20:17):
Late at night. Yes.

Speaker 1 (20:18):
Oh I might use this one. If you're constipated and
struggling to poo, here's some great news introducing Careiso's constipation ease.
You need to pay for the premium YouTube.

Speaker 3 (20:32):
I think I got to cancel.

Speaker 1 (20:34):
That's even pissing me off.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
Sorry, I got to kill HBO Max or something and
get the YouTube.

Speaker 1 (20:38):
Yeah, that could happened.

Speaker 3 (20:40):
I got nothing.

Speaker 5 (20:41):
This is Chris Page and Amy to ride.

Speaker 1 (20:45):
Every now and again, Page Dob. I come across some
really funny accounts on Instagram, like there's a lot of
crap on social You.

Speaker 4 (20:52):
And I share quite a few. Were both big fans
of where you have to run to the comments. You
just see someone with a weird square head or something
doing a video and there, yeah, thirty seven thousand comments.

Speaker 1 (21:03):
I got one the other day and it was a
lady saying like, this is how long it takes me
to get my toddler to sleep, and it's this who
is ginormous? And all the comments were like, ma'am, that
man changed my oil last week. That ain't no toddler.
It was so good anyway, she was really good about it.
But this particular account is a lady. I think she
is interviewing her mum and her auntie and they're both

(21:26):
of Indian descent, and she interviews them on an array
of topics. The first one I saw was all about
mother's Mother's Day and then I came across this one
about marriage, and it is just so funny how blunt
and direct they are. I mean, I'm sure it's all satire,
but when I tell you, I have forwarded this reel
to every single one of my girlfriends because it's a

(21:48):
bit of a lost.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
So who's in this that we're going to hear? There's
the younger girl, the younger girls and friend getting married.

Speaker 1 (21:52):
Yes. So there's the younger girl and she's with her
mom and her mom's sister, so her auntie as well.

Speaker 3 (21:57):
Yes, And the video is to play.

Speaker 1 (21:59):
Apparently one of her friend's weddings.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
Yeah right, okay, so pitch yourself a big wedding reception.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
And getting some sound advice from two married women. One
piece of advice you have for marriage? Skip it, that's rude.

Speaker 3 (22:15):
That's right, mom, what's one piece of advice you have
for marriage? Don't be deaf, dumb.

Speaker 1 (22:19):
And blinded like me. I feel like she may have
been cheated on.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
What are three reasons to get married, nuntie. I can't
think of any. I can somebody to make you a
cup of tea, somebody to drive you, and somebody to
take out the coppage.

Speaker 4 (22:38):
And if you're lucky, you can jump into the garbage again.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Okay, what is the best thing about marriage?

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Divorce? What is the worst thing about marriage? Marriage?

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Who hurt that it gets funnier? She goes, Oh, marriage,
marriage is a roller.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
Coaster and oh that's right, and she goes, yes, mostly downhill.

Speaker 1 (23:04):
But I think you can play that at a wedding
just full stop. I mean, unless everyone's got a good
sense of humor.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
If it's a fun wedding, and well, if people know
the ant, the one that goes sits there going divorce?

Speaker 3 (23:15):
What was she married to? Bobby Brown? Woman?

Speaker 1 (23:19):
She is hilarious though.

Speaker 3 (23:22):
She needs therapy, she does, but.

Speaker 1 (23:25):
She's speaking from the heart.

Speaker 3 (23:26):
All right.

Speaker 5 (23:27):
This is Crisp Page and Amy Gerard.

Speaker 1 (23:31):
So you know how the human race is a little
bit cooked at the moment.

Speaker 3 (23:34):
Yeah, the world is. I have constant unease well about
the state.

Speaker 1 (23:40):
I've got a real love hate relationship with social media
because I feel like there's all these fads and trends
that happen at the moment. It's the maxing trends. So
you've got looks maxing where people just do ridiculous things
to their body and.

Speaker 4 (23:53):
It start with men as well, didn't it The looks maxing.
I think it's these guys. It's really CONTROVERSI because they're
breaking bones and breaking their jaw.

Speaker 3 (24:01):
To have a better chin.

Speaker 1 (24:03):
Yeah, and then you've got like gym maxing, so the
people who go all in and make the gym their
entire personality.

Speaker 3 (24:08):
So it's just a gym junkie with a new name.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Literally, Yep, you've got sleep maxing. I kind of dabbled
in that area for a bit. I used to wear
my Apple Watch every night to sleep because I was
obsessed with my sleep score.

Speaker 3 (24:19):
And with the prescription medication addiction.

Speaker 1 (24:22):
I don't have a sleep What are you talking about?
The latest one is poop maxing, so right, and I mean,
I bet you can guess what that entails.

Speaker 3 (24:32):
Well, No, I've got a few questions. I just don't
know whatever I want to ask.

Speaker 4 (24:35):
Is it about pooing more often or saving it up
and doing the most tremendous juice noticeable? Are people taking
enormous dumps taking photos of them on the.

Speaker 1 (24:48):
Instat No, it's about I guess, adding high fiber foods
to your body so that you are basically eating and
taking a dump and basically you're flushing your colon and
you know there's obviously lots of health benefits that come
from that. So it's these people who have fixated on

(25:10):
making sure that they're regular every single day. Like sometimes
I think to myself, wait, when was the last time
I pooed? It's normally after a hot coffee. But these
people have taken poop maxing to another level. So you've
got girls being like, come poop with me, and they're
you're not actually.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Watching poop with me.

Speaker 1 (25:28):
You're not actually watching them poop, but you're just watching
the smoothies that they're making. Remember I told you about
that smoothie. I think it's green apple and celery and
cheer seeds, and it's basically like you have this is.

Speaker 3 (25:40):
Smoothie gets things move.

Speaker 1 (25:41):
And within thirty minutes you're on the toilet.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
I just still find the black coffee in the morning,
and that's what you've got to We're lucky working on
the weekends that we don't cop the ten am office toilet. Yeah,
people get in, they have their coffee and then it's
just it's total destruction in there.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
At about back in the morning. It's just horrendous.

Speaker 1 (26:03):
Ryan will often text me when he's doing his first
deuce in the morning and like, I'll have tried to
call and he's like, I can't talk. I mean the
toilet and there's like four other blokes in here and
they're all just drop and juice at the same time.
Can you imagine the smell?

Speaker 4 (26:18):
And I hate cubicles that don't go all the way
to the floor or the roof, like more cubicles. I know,
I know we're in a cost of living crisis, but honestly,
I don't want to see their feet.

Speaker 1 (26:30):
I don't want to hear them the splash of the water.

Speaker 4 (26:33):
And please have the radio on in And I'm not
just saying this is a radio person. You can even
have another station, but just have some loud music in
the bathroom. You know, when you're in a dead silent
public toilet and you can hear every tale of what
is going on in the next cubic.

Speaker 1 (26:49):
You can hear the zipper undoing everything. Oh and yeah, yeah, anyway,
pot maxing. Look into it, guys. If you want to
clean a healthier gut, apparently your skin glows Yep, makes sense, right,
because if you're just expelling all the food that you're eating.

Speaker 4 (27:02):
Yeah, so if you want to eat like a human
being is meant to you, how your body just function normally?

Speaker 3 (27:09):
Listen to you on Instagram? Yeah, terrific.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
This is Cris Page and Amy's ride.

Speaker 3 (27:17):
Almost time for us to get out of here.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
But every Saturday before we go, we like to do
a bit of self reflection about the week that's been.
I suppose in many ways it's a call for more
self reflection in society.

Speaker 1 (27:28):
Not a lot of people do.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
Yeah, we're going to sort of set the example, but.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
We're setting the benchmark.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
If you're in traffic right now and maybe someone just
let you in and you didn't wave, you have a
good line, look at yourself. I'd look at yourself, then
give yourself an uppercut. But we'll get the ball rolling.
Let's do some self reflection.

Speaker 5 (27:44):
Let's get nailed it or failed it.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
So you can start. You want to nailed or failed?
What you start?

Speaker 1 (27:53):
I nailed. I really nailed this. Obviously. I've come back
from Vietnam and I knew that I was flying in
on Tuesday morning. I was doing an overnight flight solo
with three kids. I knew I was going to be
absolutely cactus by Sunday. Before we left, I had started
going downhill with my chest infection too, so I was like,
how can I make my life easier when I land?

(28:14):
And I jumped online. I order all my groceries and
all my dinners and stuff through an online grocer called Dimples.
They're fantastic, give them a look up. That's not an
endorsement or anything, but I do love them.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
Free packages on the.

Speaker 1 (28:28):
But I basically jumped online and I did a full
grocery shop for all my dinners, school snacks, bread, milk, everything.

Speaker 3 (28:36):
With the scoops down.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
When I landed. By the time I got home, all
the groceries in boxes in freezer packs were waiting on
my doorsteps, and I was giving myself a little pat
on the back for that.

Speaker 3 (28:50):
How the other half live everyone groceries.

Speaker 1 (28:55):
Overseas holidays, I would have had to go to the
shops with all three kids whilst exhausted.

Speaker 4 (29:02):
Mine nailed it for the week as the total opposite
of yours, because I'm I'm a butler right like, and
I'm not a butler.

Speaker 3 (29:08):
I am a butler.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
Trust me, my bank account at the end of every month,
if my wife even lets me see it is usually
in the negative. I've gotten into the Facebook marketplace. Oh yeah, yeah,
I'm not on the Facebook, but I've got my wife's.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Moonlighting as your wife. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
It's this creepy thing because I'm talking to like these
housewives basically going hey, I'll come and pick up the thing.
So I'm like, they think they're talking to Georgie with
the picture of her, and I'm going, yeah, I can
come and pick it up.

Speaker 3 (29:33):
You're like, what do you wear it?

Speaker 4 (29:36):
I could look across my mind, I could be like,
so yeah, You're like, no, wait, I'm Georgie. Anyway, I
got the best chest of draws, totally free. Oh so
now day really nice. You had to take them apart
and clean it up.

Speaker 1 (29:48):
A little bit, but absolutely bargains to be had on
Facebook marketplace.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
I've got to stop buying anything new, yeah, because I
mean and for the environment as well. You're doing a
good thing re homing an old piece of furniture.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
Yeah, absolutely.

Speaker 3 (30:00):
And I'm flat broke, so there's that too. I don't
really care about the environment.

Speaker 4 (30:06):
When I'm rich again, it's all over for you, New
Temple and Webster all the way for me. Amy, I'm
going right top shelf Okay, where'd you fail?

Speaker 1 (30:15):
My fail was obviously the kids went back to school
on Wednesday. I was packing all their bags. I pulled
out a bit of paper and it said that my
youngest Kobe had to do a speech, which I absolutely
knew about before we went away on holidays, and it said,
Kobe is to present his speech on Wednesday the twentieth, the.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
Day after a red eye flight.

Speaker 1 (30:31):
Yeah, which was the exact day that he was going
to school. And I was like, oh, mate, you're gonna
have to come up with some excuse. I will chat
GPT your speech tonight, but you need a day's extension.

Speaker 5 (30:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
We have a rule on the plane with the kids.
The best way to shut them up. I'll give you
this hack. Everyone. They can watch whatever they want.

Speaker 4 (30:49):
Whatever they want, like Deadpool, Wolverine, all the R rated stuff.
Just go go nuts if you stay in your seat,
Oh and stay quiet, you watch whatever they've gotten the plane.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
Wow.

Speaker 3 (30:59):
They cut out the very worst stuff on the plane anyway.
But do they depends on the airline. Johnny. I flew
on Emirates.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
One time in the Middle East, so it was one
of the those flights where it's alcohol free and it's
a very Islamic flight.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (31:14):
And I was watching this movie with Nicholas Cage and
they took out all the swearing but also the word god.
So there was a point where he would go, oh God,
damn it or something, and it was dubbed. They had
some Nicholas Cage impersonated to say Gosh, damn it, and
it was over the top.

Speaker 1 (31:32):
There you go, what's your failed Okay.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
It was just today today before work. You know how
I was running a.

Speaker 1 (31:39):
Couple of minutes late an hour.

Speaker 4 (31:40):
Yeah, it was not well, it was because of the
parking this building, honestly, so I'd done a few laps,
couldn't get a park. I thought, you know what, I know,
we got told not to, but I'm going to park
in the car park.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Oh you tried to get downstairs?

Speaker 3 (31:57):
Yes, I figured, well.

Speaker 4 (31:57):
There's a few free car parks right near the lift now,
so I went down. But Amy, they weren't kidding. You
know how we got barred from the car park. They've
disabled our swipe cards for the car park. We actually
can't get in there.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
So you did you have to do the reverse of shame?

Speaker 4 (32:12):
Yeah, with like someone behind me as well, Sorry, can
you go back, I've been either fire removed or yeah.
I was just hoping it worked for the lift, because
then you go, all right, A, let's go home and
tell my wife I've lost my job.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
But that was my fail. We've got to get a
car spot.

Speaker 1 (32:31):
At least you tried, and now I know not to
ever try.

Speaker 4 (32:33):
You don't even bother yet unless you do yours and
yours works.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
And then you can really give me a complex.

Speaker 4 (32:39):
We're back tomorrow. We'll get here earlier. We'll find a
park and it'll be sweet eight a m.

Speaker 3 (32:44):
We'll talk to you then. Everyone see you guys. Enjoy
the rest of your Saturday.
