Speaker 3 (00:41):
Hey, good morning everyone, good morning. Well you you look great.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Consider it's because I've tied my hair back so tight
that I've actually given myself a faux facelift.
Speaker 4 (00:53):
Our listeners in Sydney and Melbourne will know that Amy
Gerard has been just working a toush off.
Speaker 2 (00:58):
She's a busy woman.
Speaker 4 (00:59):
She's been doing the weekday breakfast show as well backing
it up coming in here.
Speaker 3 (01:03):
So thank you, God, bless you.
Speaker 5 (01:04):
God, bless you.
Speaker 2 (01:05):
Thank you, Amen.
Speaker 4 (01:06):
And I hope you've not been too tired to stay
up and watch the soccer World Cup.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Yes, you know what I've I've actually had to give.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
That a miss. Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:15):
I give a lot of things a miss during the week.
It's soccer is definitely up there with one of them.
Speaker 4 (01:19):
Our producers excited. Ego obviously loves his song. I think
his wife's Italian.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Isn't she.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Oh, yes, so she'd probably be.
Speaker 3 (01:26):
I mean, you're allowed to not have soccer. It's fine.
Speaker 4 (01:29):
Hey, this will get you excited. I don't know what
this World Cup's theme song is, but I.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
Don't I thought Shakira performed.
Speaker 3 (01:43):
I don't care. It should just be this Ricky Martin
every year before every in the morning.
Speaker 6 (01:54):
This is Chris Page and Amy to ride.
Speaker 4 (01:57):
We are joined in the studio by a very old
dear friend of mine, an old dear well. I knew
her before she was a huge star, and I can
honestly say that we used to work together. We worked
together back in breakfast radio, which is living hell. Amy
d just tell you that you'd want to earn a
lot of money, which we did not.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
Now she's a dating expert.
Speaker 4 (02:18):
I saw you on the Today Show the other day
as well, Janna Hawking.
Speaker 3 (02:23):
It's just going on?
Speaker 5 (02:24):
What isn't going on? There was never a dull moment.
Speaker 1 (02:27):
Well, you were in the States recently, weren't you. I
was living vicarilessly through your stories because.
Speaker 5 (02:32):
I was in the shooting. Yeah, shooting. I've lived through
one of three Trump shootings.
Speaker 4 (02:38):
We'll come back and talk about that because I want
to talk about the White House correspondence dinner. I've got
a lot of questions, like how did you get a ticket?
Speaker 1 (02:46):
Keeps asking me that well, I was invested. I peeped
the outfit. I approved, you looked sensational. And then next
minute you're hiding under a table.
Speaker 5 (02:54):
My outfit was ruined. I ripped my dress. Yeah, it
was a disaster.
Speaker 7 (02:58):
So I went because my contract is actually with Daily
Mail US.
Speaker 3 (03:03):
Yeah. So this is my.
Speaker 7 (03:04):
Second year at the White House correspondence still and I
was sitting next to Cash to tell the head of.
Speaker 4 (03:10):
The FBI, Yes, this is the guy who loves a
drink as well, right, like was sculling beer after the
ice hockey game.
Speaker 3 (03:19):
Yeah, famous for loving a martini. Yeah, as am I.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
So when he was a guest at the Daily Mail table.
Speaker 7 (03:26):
And we kept going, are you sure you want to
come see with Daily Mail?
Speaker 5 (03:30):
He did. They thought, well, we'll put him next to
the sex column and great.
Speaker 3 (03:35):
Then he requested it and then.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
We sat down. Trump came in. We did the anthem,
blah blah. I just wanted to see him.
Speaker 7 (03:42):
In real life, Like I just wanted his orange like
oranger fluorescent.
Speaker 5 (03:48):
It was a dark tangerine. Oh yeah, yeah, Milania gorgeous, gorgeous.
So I got to take that off. I was like, great,
I've seen him in real life. Perfect. We sit down
for entrees. I'm literally leaning over to get a bread
roll and I just hear bang bang bang bang. It
was four and I just got this weird calmness.
Speaker 7 (04:07):
It was so weird. I just went, oh, that's gunshots.
And then Cash turned to me and goes, get under
the table, get under the table.
Speaker 5 (04:15):
And I was like, is this a movie?
Speaker 2 (04:17):
You're like, am I being punked? What's happening?
Speaker 5 (04:20):
I know a little bit of me was like, this
is so excited.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
This is Cash, But tell the head of the FBI.
Speaker 4 (04:26):
He is the Indian guy with the crazy stare in
his photos and so short.
Speaker 5 (04:31):
In okay, ye tiny in life. I'll give you a
picture if you want to.
Speaker 4 (04:34):
Okay, like a household name in America. And he was
next to you, go and get under.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
The I feel like you want to.
Speaker 1 (04:40):
If you're going to be next to anyone at that dinner,
that's who you want to be sat next to you. Yep.
Speaker 7 (04:44):
Until those Secret Service came in and swooped him out,
I'm like, well.
Speaker 2 (04:49):
What are we shave me?
Speaker 7 (04:51):
So we hid under the table for like fifteen minutes,
waited for secret Service to clear the room, big guns, everything,
and then the guy was kind of like, not in
a good way, just at the door the shooter and
then we all got out and they said, oh, do
worry Trump's coming.
Speaker 5 (05:07):
Back, and I was like, I don't want Trump to
come back.
Speaker 7 (05:10):
And the room had been turned upside down, like the
smash glasses was everything, and then no, then it got canceled.
Speaker 2 (05:18):
I was that girl.
Speaker 7 (05:19):
Did you see those pictures that went viral of the
women like grabbing the bottles of wine? That was me.
Speaker 5 (05:25):
We got so drunk, right, That's what I would have
done as well.
Speaker 3 (05:29):
What a store.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
And as long as I've known you, even before you
had this job, you would always get yourself into the
craziest situations.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
And that's classic Janna.
Speaker 4 (05:38):
Sitting next to the head of the Great Stories while
you're under the table with Cash Patel. I've got to ask,
did he ever turn to you and say, is this
your first time under a table at a correspondence?
Speaker 5 (05:49):
No, he didn't, and weirdly he didn't get under the table.
Speaker 2 (05:52):
He was quite tough ball last So you.
Speaker 3 (05:55):
Were under the table, Cash Ptell, Wasn't I see where
you're going with anything for a headline.
Speaker 5 (06:02):
I'm happy for that rumor to spread because it's kind
of iconic.
Speaker 6 (06:06):
But no, this is crisp page Amy's ride.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
We're joining the studio by our great mate Janna Hawking.
She is a dating columnist with the Daily Mail US
Daily Mail.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
He's out at the White House, Janitor.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
But I loved your article about the ick list, and
we've talked about X a bit on the show because
Amy and her friends have a lot of them. We've
been chatting about in the studio and Aging Comedians is
one of yours.
Speaker 3 (06:33):
But you didn't It didn't make your list in the paper.
Speaker 5 (06:37):
No, no, no, no, you know, defamation and all that. Yeah,
they would have loved to have put it in.
Speaker 7 (06:42):
So it's things like a man doing a cartwheel, a
cartwheel so back, or typing with one hand such an eck,
or like dropping a ball or missing a ball that's
thrown at them.
Speaker 1 (06:54):
Yeah, like basically anything that's not masculine.
Speaker 3 (06:58):
Where did you think of cartwheels from?
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Because I mean that's a random I mean, I don't
know if this is a nick when I try every
time I try to do a cartwheel, which is a
lot like my roller blades are too heavy.
Speaker 5 (07:11):
I've known you for ten years and you've never given
me the eark until now.
Speaker 4 (07:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
Thanks, sorry you've been added to the list.
Speaker 5 (07:20):
I saw a guy do it on Instagram and I
was like, we'll be adding.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
That cartwheels, all right, what about men for women? Okay,
so is this women for women? I guess you wrote
it so.
Speaker 7 (07:31):
No, because I think you and I would agree these
are great things that.
Speaker 5 (07:34):
We do, but for women.
Speaker 7 (07:36):
Men don't like when we talk about astrology, especially on dates, and.
Speaker 3 (07:40):
I do especially on the radio as well.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:44):
I actually love astrology as well, and when I try
and bring it up with Ryan, he just glazers over.
Speaker 2 (07:50):
Yeah, give two ships.
Speaker 7 (07:52):
Another one for girls is when they cry on camera,
like on their Instagram.
Speaker 1 (07:56):
Like they set their cameras. I know that's an it
for me from that as well.
Speaker 7 (08:02):
Or if we do photo shoots at brunch, we are
the waiter to take like.
Speaker 5 (08:06):
Twelve pictures of it.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Guilty, I get that there.
Speaker 1 (08:09):
I'm like, sorry, can you go back and.
Speaker 5 (08:12):
Do it landscape?
Speaker 1 (08:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 5 (08:14):
Yeah, but yeah, they're the goes. There's not many go ones.
Speaker 1 (08:17):
To be fair, I mean, there isn't quite a list
here for the girls. But treating birthdays like the met Gala,
doing baby voice, that's an I mean.
Speaker 2 (08:27):
Even men or even men doing baby voice.
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Yeah, the list of men's is so much better, though,
I mean, and surely it was easier to write.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
It came out so easy.
Speaker 4 (08:39):
You've been very fair here and done an equal list
for both. But we both know the list isn't. They're
not the same lengths. These clicking their fingers at weight
stuff is one for a man and on the other
side of it asking where's my hug.
Speaker 7 (08:53):
I've done that though, and I've done it in a
baby again.
Speaker 4 (09:00):
You can pull it off like a pretty girl. Yeah yeah,
but where's my hug? Or you just want to feel
the boobs against you?
Speaker 3 (09:08):
You creeping?
Speaker 7 (09:09):
Oh?
Speaker 2 (09:09):
Yeah, that is it, isn't It's true.
Speaker 3 (09:12):
Just touch me now.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
I'm not gonna hug you anymore.
Speaker 4 (09:16):
Well because I'm an incel, right, because I see also
on the list saying females instead of women.
Speaker 3 (09:22):
That's insult rolls.
Speaker 5 (09:25):
I had a guy the other day call me a
little lady. That gave me such a nick. He's like,
how's my little lady? I was like, I don't know
who she is.
Speaker 3 (09:32):
But I've got the Was you a butcher?
Speaker 2 (09:35):
No, he was a sports Okay, Well.
Speaker 4 (09:38):
The only people who can say get a darling little lady.
You don't mind a butcher doing it, right?
Speaker 5 (09:43):
I like that.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Actually, yeah, usually it's an older.
Speaker 4 (09:46):
Man exactly, and butchers can get away with that's this specific.
But sorry, Janna, it was a sportsman because it was.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
I'll tell you a fair Yeah. Well they're the ex guys.
Avoid them. Just don't be an incelt, don't be a purpose.
Speaker 7 (10:02):
Well listen, if you think you've done one and you
can see their face kind of like their soul die
a little inside.
Speaker 2 (10:08):
Don't keep it up.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
We should put Janna's full list up on our page
because you've got to check these out, because there's a
few here. I must have been I'm guilty of, like
saying calm down during.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
What about filming gym workouts like a motivational documentary that
is just even just at a gym selfie?
Speaker 2 (10:24):
No right, no, if you're doing it, what.
Speaker 4 (10:27):
About filming women's gyms working surely that'llgal.
Speaker 3 (10:34):
It's just assault, all right, Jana. Great to see you again.
Check out.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
By.
Speaker 6 (10:42):
This is Crisp Page and Amy Gerard.
Speaker 4 (10:46):
Good morning again everyone, Christopher Page And that's it.
Speaker 3 (10:53):
That's that's our show.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
What have you got for me?
Speaker 4 (10:56):
I got asked to give an update, and I don't
know if you want one on my Facebook marketplace.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
We all want one antis during the week.
Speaker 1 (11:02):
Do you. Yeah, well, you've been moonlighting as a woman
on Facebook marketplace.
Speaker 3 (11:09):
I don't have the Facebook Georgie's account.
Speaker 1 (11:11):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, But you think it's because everyone's nicer
to you? And what do you feel more comfortable like
haggling strangers down and stuff? Uh?
Speaker 4 (11:19):
Yeah, yeah, I mean it's my wife's profile photo was
this lovely, beaming smile lady.
Speaker 3 (11:25):
Beautiful, lady, I forgot beautiful.
Speaker 4 (11:27):
And when you're talking to either men or women, they're
both nicer to a nice woman. Yeah, because the blokes
on there are like, you know, something's two hundred bucks,
they go give you fifty you know, but you're like, Hi.
Speaker 2 (11:40):
Do you try to talk like a woman as well?
Speaker 3 (11:42):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (11:42):
I do.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
The voice, Oh my god, Rosie, these prints would look
great in my son's room.
Speaker 1 (11:48):
That doesn't sound like a woman adult, sounds like a
man putting on a woman's voice.
Speaker 3 (11:52):
Also, why are you talking sucking helium? Yeah?
Speaker 2 (11:54):
Those I don't know where you're going with that, but.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Are on a tight budget and I've only got fifty dollars.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Aren't you typing?
Speaker 3 (12:01):
Yeah, why are you talking?
Speaker 4 (12:02):
Then? No, I'm just typing in my wife's in my
head and I don't do the voice very well.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
But it's still going on.
Speaker 4 (12:09):
Yeah, and what have you bought? I'm big on lighting
this week. Lamps has been the theme of the week.
I've got matching table lamps for the lounge room. Okay,
they're beautiful and a big lamp, like a big industrial
sort of lamp.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
So yeah, it's pretty cool. Okay, so it's still going Oh,
you're teasing me on't you.
Speaker 2 (12:26):
No, I'm not. You know what I could give you
a challenge.
Speaker 1 (12:29):
I need two bedside tables for my spare room when
my parents come and stay. The bedside tables are currently suitcases,
so we put two suitcases either side of the bed
and put lamps on top. So I need to bedside tables.
There you go, have a crack. Find me too on
your Facebook marketplace.
Speaker 3 (12:46):
I went next week, next week, next weekend.
Speaker 4 (12:49):
I will find you to bedside tables in three songs. Okay,
I'm gonna have it, but don't worry, we're not going
to talk about it. I'll just find them for Amy.
Speaker 6 (12:59):
This is Cris Page and Amy's ride.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
On Kiss Amy Gerard, and I did find you those
bedside tables.
Speaker 1 (13:06):
You actually did made you actually found me a few
bedside tables.
Speaker 3 (13:09):
Facebook, Marketplace everyone.
Speaker 1 (13:11):
Anyway, speaking of our bedroom furniture, I am considering doing
up our spare room so that I never thought I'd
be saying these lines, but I feel like I may
be kicking my husband out and making him sleep in
another room.
Speaker 2 (13:28):
Marriage problem, No, no marriage problems.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
For the first eight years of our marriage, it's been bliss.
And he kind of lured me into a false sense
of security because when he sleeps at night, he normally
sleeps like a corpse, like he's a dead person. There's
not a sound that leaves his body from anywhere except
except well, yeah.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
One of those every now and again.
Speaker 1 (13:50):
But in the last I want to say, maybe twelve months,
he has just absolutely thrown me a curve ball and
he started.
Speaker 3 (13:57):
Snoring, become a snorer.
Speaker 1 (13:59):
I mean, I think it might have something to do
with maybe a little weight gain, maybe the fact that
he's really tired, maybe stressed out at work, a lot
on his brain. So when he his head hits a pillow,
he falls asleep within like four seconds, and it starts
with a purr and then it goes up into like hibernating.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Bear and kind of cute.
Speaker 4 (14:22):
You know.
Speaker 2 (14:23):
The purr is manageable, the hibernating.
Speaker 3 (14:25):
Bear not so cute.
Speaker 1 (14:26):
And if he's had a few beers, it's like full
freight train.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
And when you get to the they're dying and he
wakes himself up.
Speaker 1 (14:37):
But I am actually an incredibly light sleeper, So obviously
since having kids, I've become a light sleeper, but even
before that, I'm a bit of a sleep princess. I
need pitch black rooms, I need dead silence, a contoured pillow,
the works.
Speaker 2 (14:51):
So him just taking.
Speaker 1 (14:52):
Up this hobby of all of a sudden becoming a snorer,
it's not working for us, and I am furious.
Speaker 3 (14:59):
My brother had the problem.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
You know, he's snoring got much much worse throughout life,
and now he's got a sleep apnear machine.
Speaker 3 (15:06):
The problem is you're sleeping there and you Vader is
next to you.
Speaker 4 (15:11):
Well, yeah, you look like you're in hospital, and that's
every night, so that's a big you'd rather just go
to the spare room, I reckon.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
Well, I mean, look, sleep happening is a serious condition,
and people stop breathing, which is definitely not great. I
would love to do a sleep study for him. But
in the meantime I've been discussing it with girlfriends. Everyone's like,
just sleep in the spare room or kick him out
into the spare room. Have separate rooms, separate living departments.
It will actually make your marriage better.
Speaker 4 (15:38):
I agree, sleep apart. Yeah, me and my wife have
been doing it for a long time. It started, funnily enough,
when I was doing breakfast radio Monday a Friday for
years and years and years.
Speaker 3 (15:49):
Your alarms at four am.
Speaker 4 (15:50):
No one wants that, and then you've got to get
up and probably turn a light on.
Speaker 3 (15:54):
To get dressed, so it's no good.
Speaker 4 (15:56):
And it probably saved our marriage through the breaky radio years.
Speaker 3 (16:01):
And then I stopped doing brecky radio, and it's like.
Speaker 2 (16:03):
Do I want to move back in probably night.
Speaker 4 (16:05):
We both kind of like having a queen sized bed
to ourselves.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
I think the thing is for me. I actually love
sharing a bedroom with Ryan.
Speaker 1 (16:13):
I'm the girl that shoves my cold, freezing feet in
between his legs in wintertime.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
I love a snuggle. I love cuddling in the middle
of the night.
Speaker 1 (16:22):
But if he's going to continue to snore, we cannot
sleep together.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
That's a tough ultimatum on him, though, because he does.
Speaker 1 (16:31):
He doesn't, and he is very dead against it. He's like,
we are not sleeping in separate beds. Yeah, And I said, yeah,
well that's easy for you to say.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
I don't snore.
Speaker 3 (16:39):
He's old school. Have you got the boss headphones?
Speaker 2 (16:42):
I'm not wearing headphones to bed?
Speaker 3 (16:44):
Why not? You want him to wear a sleep apnea machine.
Speaker 1 (16:48):
I might getting those little nasal strips that open your nose,
and then a mouth things that you put over your
mouth to keep your mouth shut.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Yeah, like a mouthguard.
Speaker 2 (16:56):
No, it's not a mouthguard.
Speaker 1 (16:57):
It literally looks like a band aid and you put
it over your lips and so it keeps your mouth
clothes and then opens your nostrils.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
But you don't want to wear headphones. But you want
to strap his mouth shut.
Speaker 2 (17:08):
Yes I do.
Speaker 6 (17:10):
This is Cris Page and Amy Gerard.
Speaker 3 (17:13):
You had one job. It's usually something you know.
Speaker 4 (17:16):
You'll be screaming at a fast food attendance on my
husband when they forget your sweet sauce.
Speaker 1 (17:22):
Yeah, when they don't pack my big Max sauce. They
always ask for Big Max saus and macers and they
never pack it.
Speaker 4 (17:28):
You add one job idiot, Well, Harry Styles. I mean
he's a good looking idiot, but my cup of tea. Actually,
you know what, I'm going to take that back. He's
got a huge fan club, doesn't he. And they're all online.
Speaker 3 (17:40):
And they will come for you. He's not stupid. He
is good looking.
Speaker 4 (17:45):
Anyway, he was performing. He had one job, right, performing
at a concert of a listener. Oh that's a tough listen,
(18:05):
isn't it, Harry.
Speaker 3 (18:08):
No, you go, I want to hear what you say. Well,
it's obvious he's forgotten the lyrics.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
He's in perimenopause.
Speaker 3 (18:15):
He's in peri menopause.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
It's a real thing, the brain fog. I am absolutely
not judging him over there. I remember I had to
take my daughter to the doctors the other week and
she goes, oh, and what's your daughter's date of birth?
Speaker 2 (18:28):
And I stood there and I go and I just
could not for the life of me.
Speaker 1 (18:34):
She's born on Christmas Eve, right, like the most easiest
memorable I actually yeah, And I just I had a
brain fight.
Speaker 4 (18:41):
I feel he's a bit young, though, Like I mean,
would Harry Styles be I mean, he's got the mental blanks. Obviously,
but you know, hot flushes, maybe some vaginal dryness.
Speaker 3 (18:50):
I mean, Harry Styles isn't there yet.
Speaker 2 (18:51):
I don't think he's definitely not in Perry. But here's
what I think he is.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
He's a human being, and people forget stuff all the time,
and they have brain farts and memory blanks and it
is perfectly normal.
Speaker 2 (19:05):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
You know who doesn't forget stuff? Who like Taylor Swift
when she's on Star singing her song? How do you
know she's a professional.
Speaker 2 (19:12):
Have you watched every single concert of hers?
Speaker 7 (19:13):
No?
Speaker 4 (19:14):
But I've watched that Disney one a lot of times,
and if she made any mistakes, they edited them out
exactly right. But no, I'm saying she you don't see
Taylor going, oh, I forgot the lyrics. Man.
Speaker 2 (19:25):
I think he's forgotten the lyrics.
Speaker 1 (19:27):
It makes him far more vulnerable and relatable, and people
probably love him even more.
Speaker 2 (19:31):
So because of it.
Speaker 4 (19:32):
You want to sleep with him, good for you, not
my time at all, We all do. He's a pretty
wild guy too.
Speaker 3 (19:38):
Apparently this is.
Speaker 6 (19:40):
Cris Page and Amy to ride.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
Let's have a look a bit of self reflection back
at the week, as we look at what we have
nailed and failed.
Speaker 6 (19:49):
Let's nailed it or failed it.
Speaker 3 (19:53):
I always like to hear from you first, What have
your nailed?
Speaker 2 (19:56):
Look what my nail is is.
Speaker 1 (19:58):
Well, it's nothing that I've actually nailed, but I've recently
discovered that McDonald's coffees are incredibly good. It would be
probably one of the last places I would think to
go for a coffee.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Obviously there's lots.
Speaker 1 (20:11):
Of cafes around my area and stuff, and I go
to macas for a meal at you know, six nuggets
and big Mac sauce or a quarter pounder and whatnot.
Speaker 4 (20:20):
Maybe maybe throwing a paid partnership as well. Yeah, is
that what's going on here?
Speaker 2 (20:25):
I mean, sure, slide into my DMS.
Speaker 3 (20:27):
I will work for you.
Speaker 2 (20:28):
No, they're coffee.
Speaker 1 (20:30):
I kind of went in with low expectations and it
has blown me out of the park. Every morning I
turn up at four fifty am and I get handed
my medium m and latte and it's delicious. Yeah, brood
and roasted and frost and whatever the hell else they.
Speaker 2 (20:46):
Do to perfection.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
You know.
Speaker 4 (20:47):
Well, McCafe has been around a long time now. Mcafe
was an Australian concept first, like it only launched in
Australia and now it's sort of spread all over the
world where McDonald's actually, you know, branch out and do
decent coffee and banana bread.
Speaker 1 (21:03):
Listen, I'm new to the cafe game and I am very.
Speaker 2 (21:08):
Happy with it.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
Welcome to the party.
Speaker 2 (21:11):
Late to it, but I'm here arrived.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
Sorry, what have you failed?
Speaker 2 (21:14):
I failed? It's a bit of a doozy.
Speaker 1 (21:17):
I put a load of washing on on Monday after
I got home from radio, and I forgot about it
for three days, and I went to pull it out, thinking, oh,
Ryan's put a load of washing on or I don't know,
how did this washing get in here? And then I go, oh, no,
this is the load that I put on Monday.
Speaker 2 (21:36):
And it smells.
Speaker 1 (21:37):
Damn.
Speaker 3 (21:38):
It smelt like moist.
Speaker 2 (21:40):
Fermented beer or something. It was gross.
Speaker 3 (21:43):
Can you because I do that all the time.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
But usually what I'll do I'll then just run it again,
give it the quick thirty minute one again.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
Yeah, does that work?
Speaker 2 (21:52):
I did do that.
Speaker 1 (21:53):
I did put it on another wash, and then when
I was hanging it out shortly after on the same day,
it did have a bit of a smell. In my head,
I was like, surely hanging out in the fresh air
and the sunshine and it'll get rid of it.
Speaker 2 (22:06):
But now I've left it on the line for about
four days.
Speaker 4 (22:09):
The same between me and my wife, our record with
one of us putting on a wash and thinking the
other will hang it out.
Speaker 3 (22:15):
I reckon the same load has been washed four times times. Yeah,
before we actually dried it.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
Yeah, I've been there, done that, except it's just me
free washing.
Speaker 2 (22:25):
Okay, load after load.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
That's a modest fail for the week. If that's your
worst thing always, what about you? That's all right?
Speaker 4 (22:31):
Nailed it well? Of course it was on Facebook marketplace again.
Speaker 2 (22:35):
It's going to be another Facebook mark.
Speaker 3 (22:37):
Of my primary pastime.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
I found a kick ass, big wall mounted print of
that scene in the Wolf of Wall Street where Margot
Robbie is sitting down in the tiny skirt and she's
got a high heel foot out and Leonardo DiCaprio's like
crawling begging and she's got her foot on his head.
Speaker 1 (22:55):
Yes, you put it on the group chat. I actually
didn't know what that was about, but now I do, so.
Speaker 3 (23:00):
I've bought that.
Speaker 2 (23:01):
You bought it.
Speaker 4 (23:02):
Yeah, it's like a painting of that scene with money everywhere.
I said, I don't know where am I going to
put it? Georgie has told me it's the garage.
Speaker 2 (23:11):
Yeah, not in the family room.
Speaker 3 (23:13):
Yeah, so that's a nailed it new art for the garage.
Speaker 4 (23:16):
Everyone loves garage and failed was just a bulk buying
thing at the supermarket.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
You know Costco.
Speaker 3 (23:22):
No, although I'm not far off, I reckon, I want
to get a Costco membership.
Speaker 2 (23:26):
My brother has a Costco membership.
Speaker 3 (23:28):
Meant me good? Yeah I will. I always buind bulk
because I go nuts at Woolies.
Speaker 1 (23:32):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (23:33):
Cost of living not easy under alban easy. But you
know when something's half priced, you go, oh six, you know,
eight of them in the trolley.
Speaker 3 (23:42):
I did that.
Speaker 4 (23:43):
I've just done that with nutra Grain because Henry demolishes it.
I bought like eight huge packs of Nutrigrain, stocked up
the you know stories this. Yeah, so he now likes
Sultana and.
Speaker 2 (23:56):
He's done the same thing with Wheatpix.
Speaker 4 (23:58):
He switched to Sultana brand right after the Nutragrain was
on sale.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
I have like four boxes of wheat Pix in my
pantry because the same thing Kobe loved him bought in
bulk and now he wants porridge.
Speaker 4 (24:11):
Yeah, I'll get back on Facebook Marketplace and turn that
fail into a nail for sale six nine hundred gram
boxes of Neutra grain
