Speaker 1 (00:01):
And Amanda jam nation.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
Today we go down to the Jonesy of the Amanda
RUMs for the pub test jack Aranda season. It's happening
right now. Have you got a jackaranda at your house?

Speaker 3 (00:10):
No.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
Our neighbors have one, and I love it. It goes in
our pool. But I actually don't care because I actually
love the look of the leaves on the pool. I
think it looks beautiful.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
I think we just think my neighbors and I we
just accept the jacaranda that I've got one. There's a
man across the road, he's got one and they look lovely.

Speaker 4 (00:25):
They do.

Speaker 2 (00:26):
Neighbors have one, and they just they do make a mess.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
But it's a beautiful thing that Sydney has that attracts
lots of tourists. It's beautiful, but it also is not
a native plant. The trees go roughly two to three
meters a year, so they outgrow most of the native plants,
then shade out many of the other native species. They
have an invasive root system, so there is a downside
to our beautiful jacaranda. Jackaranda trees. Do they pass the

(00:49):
pub test?

Speaker 3 (00:50):
Jacaranda trees are dead set pain in the butt, Yes,
deep flowers are lovely, but the mess, oh my goodness.
Have you ever tried to clean out a gutter after
thing raining? The smell is woeful. So to me, they
don't pass the pup tech.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
Yes, I think they do, actually, and to go to
the seals. They look absolutely beautiful, and we have our
problems with our own native trees as well. I'm walking
down the street now and I see's gutters full blease,
clog up our dreaming system.

Speaker 5 (01:17):
Look, they're beautiful. Everybody loves them, and they look good,
but jeez, they make a lot of mess everywhere. They're
getting the gutters, they're getting in the horns, they're getting everywhere.
So past the pub pairs love them, but jeez, it's
a breaking.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
Purple rain, that's what they are.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Have you seen the film about Grafton Purple Haze? That
a big jack around the festival in Grafton.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
I thought you're doing some sort of material.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
There's no leading to a jake.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
I thought you're leading to a jake.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
There's no joke.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
I was sitting.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Grafton has a beautiful jack around. But that's a funny
film because it kind of looks at the the madness
of the purple haze. That's Liz Haes' system.

Speaker 5 (02:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:00):
I knew there'd be something coming fire, a few flashbacks coming.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Up for bid, I just give information on this show
on End with Sydney Sweeney somewhere where.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
Yeah,
