No guitar? Well, it's come from playing guitar for sixty
one years. And what's like like RSI.

Injury.

Yeah, yeah, so it's the same thing. Well, because see
you play guitar like this. Oh sorry, I'm.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Microphone so well.

Speaker 4 (01:32):
I a provisional singer, you know. No, but anyway, so yeah,
it's just an arsi sort of thing.

Speaker 2 (01:38):
So you can't get pressure on the on the string
and the fretboard.

Speaker 4 (01:42):
No, and I still can't, but hopefully in another couple
of weeks. So you've had surgery, yes, which was it
wasn't too bad. Actually it's a very small incision and
he's got well, mandare you explaining to me what they
do or that.

Speaker 3 (01:59):
You release the tendons and then attach them.

Speaker 4 (02:01):
Yeah, exactly.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
And the main thing is you can still put your
middle finger up so you can still greet all your band.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
Yeah, because the band col in the corner is doing
it right now. Has he given you some exercises to do?

I'm a bit too slack, No, I have. I really
got to get on you.

Speaker 3 (02:21):

I know. I've got big gig coming up.

You know you're doing the State Theater gig in Sydney,
which always goes off. You've been doing that and then
you're touring regularly around the country though aren't you Have.

Speaker 3 (02:37):
You taken up harmonica so you're not playing the guitar.

Speaker 4 (02:39):
You know. I played at the opening of the State
Theater in nineteen twenty nine and Brendan Jones was the
master of ceremony. Oh no, oh yeah, that'sression.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
I'm going into one now.

Speaker 2 (02:52):
That was the biggest cock up in the world. They
wanted me to present this thing to Richard and I said,
They said do it before halftime, and I said, well, no,
it wouldn't it make sense to do it as he
comes off stage at half time? They said no, no, no,
it'll be much better if you do it three songs
at interval three before they bring on the oranges for Richard,

and then I walk out on and they're all going,
go and do it, do it, do it, do it.

Speaker 2 (03:19):
Do it. And then Richard looks. He goes, Brendon Jones,
what are you doing? Get off to bring present you
this giant, unfeasibly large frame award. And then he had
two more songs to play and then he's what do you.

Do with the What did you do? You just stood
there like.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
A fools, like the biggest hospital pass of the world.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
It's all try and move past.

Speaker 2 (03:41):
I felt I felt terrible because Richard gave me that look,
you know, the look that.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
You know, the look that Richard can give you stone finger.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
So, Richard, you've come in for f F s, the
Friday Field sessions, and we've had some big, big names,
and now you're the biggest.

Speaker 3 (03:59):
You're everyone's always the biggest, but you're the big, big, biggest. Oh, Amanda,
