Speaker 1 (00:00):
Gold. Hello there, it's jonesy demand of driving you home
this Monday afternoon. I didn't know if this was local
news or that's an Australian but at the end of
the day, five dollars for chicken salt. That's un Australian.

Speaker 2 (00:13):
Surely on what on chick just chicken salt on anything
on chips. So if you go to order some chips, yep,
who's charging this?

Speaker 1 (00:22):
This is the Social House in Kirowe and Sydney on
their menu there, as you can see, I've got a
handout for you. You've got the chicken salt. Five dollars
for non members, three bucks for members. So I would
argue that a container of chicken salt would not be
over five bucks. Surely, the whole container.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
I've never bought a contain of chicken salt. Of you.
Does it come like an AsSalt shaker?

Speaker 1 (00:48):
Yeah, it's like, but a bigger not a grinder.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
It's in a shaker right, yeah, but table salt.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
I'm not one. I'm not a big fan of chicken sal.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
My chicken salt.

Speaker 1 (00:59):
It's as far as condiments go for me, it's like
barbecue sauce.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
You think that its way barbecue sauce.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
They're not for me.

Speaker 2 (01:06):
But do you think chicken salt should be free?

Speaker 1 (01:09):
Well, yes, salt largely when you go and get salt
on your chips, that's for free.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
What about where do you draw the I'm just playing
it devil's advocate here. I'm rather being salt into the wound.
I'm just being devil's advocate. Would you expect to pay
for tomato sauce?

Speaker 1 (01:25):
There was a time when we didn't pay for tomato sauce.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
What about vinegar?

Speaker 1 (01:31):
There was a time, Well, no one pays for vinegar.

Speaker 2 (01:34):
Does anyone? So you don't pay for vinegar.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
I don't pay for vinegar. When you go to the
fish and chip shop and you get to go to
salt and vinegar, no one charges for the vinegar. But
I blame the sauce people when they took it away
from the bottle and they put it in the little
individual sash at And then I was saying, well, now
packaging and you're ruining the environment.

Speaker 2 (01:54):
So is it weird that chicken salt gets paid for?
I don't know. I don't normally buy chips with chicken salt.
I love it when they arrive at a table but
I haven't gone to buy some.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Sounds to me that you're bending big chicken.

Speaker 3 (02:07):
Salt sounds to me, I no regard what you're talking about.
That's how many chickens are killed for the salty thing.
Let's run one that's from chemical five eight seven.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Let's remind everyone on where we live.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
And when a.

Speaker 1 (02:24):
Nasty ball season.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
You're taking a bow or a cow.

Speaker 2 (02:36):
A matter of fact, I've got an My god, how
long is that going to go for?

Speaker 1 (02:42):
That's on Australian You're going to run off and join
iceis just so are on the same page?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
Is just a three dollars or the five dollars? Just
