Speaker 1 (00:00):
You're listening to the Jonesy and Demanda podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
We're putting Timothy with two double's actually just one double.
Timothy Charlemage to the pub Test. He recently was talking
to Matthew McConaughey on some kind of podcast and he
said this.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
And I don't want to be working in ballet or
opera or you know, things where it's like, hey, keep
this thing alive. Even though he cares about this, all
respect to the ballet and opera people out there, I
just lost fourteen cents in viewership.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
A lot of people do care. He lost about fifty
thousand listeners overnight, and as this comment summed it up
for me, they said, how ignorant If he doesn't like
ballet and oper if he says they're not for me,
that's one thing to say. No one cares when he's
in the arts as well. It's punching down on other
forms of the course.

Speaker 3 (00:42):
But I feel that that's taken out and the problem
with all social media.

Speaker 2 (00:45):
It's not taken out of context. This is the third
or fourth He said this a few times about ballet
and about and about opera and how small they are,
and no one really gives a rats. He said that
a couple of times. So how do you feel Timothy
Charlemagne and what he said? Does it pass the pub test?

Speaker 4 (01:03):
No, No, it's not cool.

Speaker 1 (01:05):
He's just got a lot to learn, that's all.

Speaker 4 (01:08):
He's only young and he just doesn't have to just
be away.

Speaker 1 (01:10):
He's in the arts, so you can't turn a I
don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:13):
I just think not.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
Well, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:15):
I think he should just be more sensitive, like you know,
it's the opera and the ballet, like I don't know,
it's about the ballet comments. So for me, it's just unnecessary.
They didn't come for him. I'm not sure why he's
feeling the need to come for them.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Look, it probably does. He's got to write to say
what he wants. And personally, I don't know the guy.
You could put him in a line up with Scooby
Doo and Squeaky the space he had or pick Scooby Doo,
but would know the difference with the other two.

Speaker 4 (01:40):
No, absolutely not. And he's you know, dirting, one of
those cudash ins. So I guess he's not No, not
at all. Oh, he's just annoying.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:51):
He just rubs me the wrong way I.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
Like that comment. You can put him with Scooby Doo,
Squeaky the Space House. I know Scooby Doo, but I
don't know the other two. Why bring up Squeaky?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
This cartoon figures and one is a human.

Speaker 2 (02:05):
But one he doesn't know. Why would he bring up
one he doesn't know.

Speaker 3 (02:08):
You know, down at the Jones Man of Arms, there's
no judgment.

Speaker 2 (02:11):
There's no judgment, no judgment.
