Thank you very much, Brendan. You know what, and I've
said this before, and people don't believe or you don't
believe it. I'm just tough to be there that when
I didn't win the Gold. I was up for the
Gold a couple of for a couple of times, and
it really didn't matter to me. It didn't change how
I felt about myself, didn't change how I felt about

my job, my self worth. It didn't eat into any
of that. And I found the process quite exhausting, to
be honest, this time around at sixty four, to be
nominated for a show like the Piano, it's just a gift.
The first Logis I ever went to. I think I
was probably twenty four years old.

So were you nominated or a guest sing?

Speaker 4 (01:43):
My boyfriend was working at Simon Townsend's Wonderworld, Yeah, with
the present.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
He was one of the reporters there.

Speaker 2 (01:47):

I was. I worked there as a segment producer.

Speaker 2 (01:53):

it didn't matter. That was the dress, and I did
the rookie mistake of cleaning my teeth when I was

wearing the dress and got a thing of toothpaste on
the shoulder.

I remember all night.

Speaker 4 (02:24):
You know how hard it is to get toothpaste out
of clothes. All night I was just looking putting salivra
on my finger and trying to get the toothpaste off
my shoulder. That's most of what I remember of the night.

Speaker 3 (02:35):
So I would have.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Been thrilled to know that when I was sixty four,
I would have pictured, as I said before, I would
have looked like Whistler's mother. Yeah, sixty four to be
up for an award.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
I'm just chuffed. I'm just schuffed. That's and chafed.

Speaker 1 (02:49):
Those fakes, well those I can just imagine. That is
so you with the toothpaste nineteen eighty six. You remember
who was hosting it?

Speaker 3 (02:56):
I don't really what I know.

thing is, for the first time since I've been going
to logis and doing radio, I'm not doing breakfast radio,
so I can go to the party. I'll have a
great night no matter what happens, and I'll turn up
