A debate erupted last week after a woman opened up about workplace boundaries and marriage.

In the post, the woman said that her husband had won a premium skincare and makeup hamper from the luxury brand YSL at a company luncheon. Rather than bringing it home to her, he reportedly gave the entire prize to a female colleague.

I can understand the idea of taking it back to
your partner, for sure, But I like to come to
this guy's defense a little bit. If the gift is
in the work ecosystem, so to speak, I can understand
him going, oh, well, it's meant for someone who works here.
My colleagues look like they really want it.

His wife has said, because she's at home looking after
the baby. She has said, not for one second did
I cross his mind. That's the bit he wanted to
plamester a nice guy in front of his colleagues.

But he should have thought of her first. But the

been to his wife.

pub test, and he shouldn't have done it in the
first place. But when he did do it, if he
didn't apologize to her for being thoughtless, he actually demeaned
her even further, and that's not okay either. I think
it's an absolute disgrace. He does not pass the pub
test at all.

I'm a senior manager, and if he's trying to crawl
up senior managers that he wouldn't cut up with me,
I can tell.

You that no, definitely, not absolutely should have taken that home.
She's at home with the baby. Even if she wasn't
home with the baby, she shouldn't have given it to
someone else. Definitely should have been for the wife.

Even with me, I'd be a little annoying, But then
I'd expect something bigger, like a bigger gift from.

If I got given up and it was makeup or
innking lots that, I'll be thirsty. I think I was
my wife and I'd take it home and give it
to her and she'd be wrapped. I'd be in the
good books then so and then I'd maybe get a
present later on.

May number two, I thought it was really interesting that
you know someone who said I'm on the executive level.
If I saw someone do that, that would not be
good in my book.
