strong support system around me, and I think that's all
that matters.

song that the judges got you to sing. They chose
this one.

I was not expecting that with a Whitney Houston song.

Yeah, we played a bit of Tennessee whiskey and then
you brought it home with an Aussie classic.

Did you hear to hear this? London? You better rivet
to take They were blown away. What were you feeling
with that when they started to talk to you?

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Oh, just overwhelmed with my joy? It was It was insane. Honestly,
I walked into the room and it just felt so
pristine and perfect. I was like, oh my god, what's
happening here? I honestly, when I started singing, I blacked out.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Did you ever worry about I'm picking a song you
didn't know?

Speaker 4 (01:46):
No, honestly, I kind of just I don't know. I
took a chance for myself, and I had the confidence
in what I could do and just gave them my all.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
I don't want to like tear down all the facades,
but whenever I go into a place, I'm always interested
in the plumbing. I want to see behind. I want
to see how it works. So did you I mean,
how could you possibly have known the words to all
of the songs? Did you have to pause for a
bit and go and look them up and then even
how to play it? Because it can't you kin'd of
just know the words to every song that's ever been written, well,
you know.

The popular songs. So I kind of just you know,
I have a good ear. I guess can we just we.

I'd love that. Is there an artist that you look
sort of look up to or try and sort of
yeah copy you know the way they sing or emulate.

Yeah, yeah, is anyone like that?

I feel like I kind of just try and be
myself best I can and try and make the songs
my own. But Jessica Melboy has always been my biggest
inspiration since I was like super young. Yeah, she still
is today and she's amazing. I love her songwriting, I
love her confidence, I love everything about it.
