Robin kid and in the morning. Okay, Dylan dare time.
This is where we've challenged Corey to a phone a workplace.
We set the premise, yes we do phone call, and.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
We figured that it was time for you to have
a child that is being a problem at home and
you want to bring a daycare center and see if
they will take this kid off your hands.

Speaker 1 (00:22):
Now here's the catch. The catch is that your child
is nineteen years old. He's just unemployed and lazy and
then at home. So you're trying to get a daycare
company that will take your nineteen year old kid look
after them.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
As parents will say, what are you for? Yes, it's
that snark.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
This is okay, but maybe don't get to the nineteen
year old bit straight up. Just see how much how
many days a week they've got available.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Okay, good morning, story House Chimside West, just speaking with

was looking to book my son into into a daycare
just get him off my hands.

Unfortunately, our two managers are on the first bush kindy
experience you've come through into the kitchen. So what I
can do is take your contact telephone number and I'll
get someone to call you back as soon as you
get back.

Speaker 5 (01:18):
A few just basic details with it.

Grant is on the chef here, so I don't know
too much about it.

Speaker 5 (01:23):
You're the most important.

So now Kindy is the older one in the older
older kids? Okay, so now what do they get up to?
Is it a lot of running around?

Speaker 3 (01:34):
Our kindy teacher is fantastic. She's actually a qualified primary
school teacher as well. She's worked at international schools around
the world.

Speaker 5 (01:41):
So well, my son, look he's toilet training.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
You wipe his balm. He's very good at all that.

Speaker 5 (01:46):
The one thing I will mention Grant is he's a
big eater. Now I'm talking. I get a family sized
pizza and he can smoke that things fun. Yeah, do
you reckon you'd be able to cook enough for him?

Speaker 1 (01:59):
Oh? For sure.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Yeah. We always put more in. We whip up sandwiches.
We've always got fruit on hands.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
If they're not listening or well behaved, is.

Speaker 3 (02:06):
There a problem?

Speaker 4 (02:07):
Is there an aughty quarter or you know some they
can do some jobs and gardening.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Put them to work. Straight away. We actually have a
little garden out the back there where we plant things
and great things. If he's really an order, I'll get
them to come in and wash some of my dishes.

Speaker 5 (02:18):
I thinking, here's a learn a lot of that.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Is there a big TV there at all?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
There is?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Yeah, we have a placement TV and they use it
for curriculum based projects.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Okay, a play PlayStation.

Speaker 3 (02:28):
No, I'll be in there myself doing it. Otherwise I
home to go.

Speaker 5 (02:31):
Get a job. But he won't leave the house.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
He's as he for he's.

Speaker 3 (02:40):
A Yeah, I'm glad he's toilet trained.

Speaker 4 (02:46):
Yeah, I know, mate. Honestly, I'm sick of it. I'm
over in grant. I wanted to get a job, he
finished school, and he just won't listen.

Speaker 5 (02:53):
So I'm sick of staying home and looking ask for him.

Speaker 4 (02:55):
I need to go back to work, and I said, mate.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
I'm going to ring up and book in. Were into
a kindy scene.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
Is that allowed? Great?

Speaker 3 (03:03):
You know a nineteen year old if you're studying his diploma,
I'm sure we can get them.

Speaker 1 (03:07):
Into the room. Was a teacher.

Speaker 3 (03:08):
I wish the teacher could sort him out there too.
As we're sitting in front of the kids. He'd probably
work need a working with children's check, you know, and
get the blue card. But he could come along and
do that than happy to have him in. If it
doesn't work out.

Speaker 5 (03:22):
No, gret, look, I gotta I've got to own up
in first mate. This is Robin Kipp and Corey Aids

Oh that's hilarious. My job, yeah, based down a restaurant, mate,
and the kids down here, like every every day is different,
you know this little smiles, little personalities running around, can
draw on the windows and you know, get them interested
in things I'm doing in here, and I love it.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
You weren't surprised by the thought of a five year
old narling an entire family size pizza.

Speaker 2 (03:58):
When did something seem a bit suss to you? Was
there a particular question where you're going?

Speaker 3 (04:03):
What is this? When you said he's nineteen? There's when
I said you own the restaurant? Is that what you said?

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (04:11):
Yeah, in my younger years, what sort of food they.

Speaker 2 (04:15):
Get in there?

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Yesterday I made potato and Yaki got all up ourselves.
In the morning. We had banana berry and Greek yogurt
Sundays with the cacao sprinkles over the top of it.
Oh my goodness, to come work here?

Speaker 1 (04:29):
What can we come and visit? I'll get my blood,
I will get my blood cart just to go and
I have lunch.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Okay, So give your amazing daycare a plug grant because
you are an extraordinary ambassador.

Speaker 3 (04:42):
Where is it? Oh, thank you. We're in Churmside West
and we've just been taken over by a story house
early learning.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (04:50):
They're fantastic. They've spent a lot of money on resources.

I suggest coming down to book and for sure for
a tour.
