Speaker 1 (00:02):
Suppose by the Robin Kid and Choreotes podcast.

Speaker 2 (00:12):
Great Good Day, it's Robin Kipping Choreots on demand the podcast.

Speaker 1 (00:18):
Okay, I found this here, came up on my feed
and I don't know, like, I don't know who this
guy is. I've just been trying to do some research
into him and it could be completely wrong, but I
think you'll find it really interesting. And it's all about
Australia and it's all about how we are the equivalent
of a third world country.

Speaker 2 (00:35):
Okay, don't have time. Robin Kipp and Choreotes in the
money another missid?

Speaker 3 (00:45):
What that sounds?

Speaker 2 (00:47):
See?

Speaker 4 (00:49):
I hate that.

Speaker 2 (00:50):
That's beautiful Monday. Tell us about the song that you've
been getting the words wrong for your whole life. Maybe
it's a new song. Thirteen one A six five?

Speaker 4 (01:00):
Hey Jason Warner, Hey going, Hey Jason? What is that
what your SHAPOOI?

Speaker 5 (01:08):
Yeah, yeah, where he sings Everybody's at the bar getting tippy.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
Yeah yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:14):
I've always thought it was everybody's at the bark and tipsy.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Everybody's at the bark and the name of a bar.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
It is the name of a bar.

Speaker 6 (01:24):
Okay, a dumb shadow whiskey.

Speaker 7 (01:31):
There's a party downtown here fifteen everybody at the barkettly
Joseph absolutely.

Speaker 2 (01:44):
For the end of it. I mean, that does sound
like a place you want to park.

Speaker 8 (01:54):
Blake, Gary, what's it?

Speaker 9 (01:56):
What's the miss hed her lyric?

Speaker 2 (01:59):
He did, mate, It's from Michael Jackson.

Speaker 9 (02:02):
He kind of start something.

Speaker 2 (02:03):
I want to be starting something that one. Yeah, okay,
So what's the what are you hearing? At the very beginning,
I always thought it was some type of African kind
of rhythm that was like Mama, say, Mama, stuff stuff. Yes,
and only now I've just figured it out. It's actually
not that blurting.

Speaker 10 (02:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:22):
I think Rihanna even does a version where.

Speaker 3 (02:24):
She does.

Speaker 9 (02:28):
Anyone confused about it?

Speaker 3 (02:30):
Not just you? Yeah.

Speaker 2 (02:31):
Rihanna released it as getting Let's have a listen, So
what is it?

Speaker 8 (02:36):
What is it?

Speaker 11 (02:36):
Corey step Okay, it's quick.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
I can't hear the I can't hear the real lyric.
I can hear what you're saying.

Speaker 2 (02:54):
It really does sound like.

Speaker 12 (02:58):
A kid looking at my mom and screaming that she
loved it.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
I want quickie today.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
It's ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (03:09):
It is Thanks black guys. Anna just dropped out. But
we know that Anna. Anna's song that she's been mishearing
is pumped up kicks foster the people, and so the
actual lyrics are better run, better run faster than my bullet.
But I had a much more PG version, which is
a better run, better run faster than my bunny.

Speaker 6 (03:44):
Pretty quick, buddy, would you need someone to run faster?

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Test is that there is something.

Speaker 9 (03:58):
And that's what I mean. You don't think about it
when you're singing it as a kid. That's it's like
you just grow up singing it and you think it's
normal until someone goes, what are you.

Speaker 4 (04:06):
Saying, Bunny?

Speaker 2 (04:09):
Yeah, tell us about yours. We can use it next
week if not today. Four nine ninety seven three nine
seven three is the text line for Mishurt Mondays and
Kiss ninety seven.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
Three Robin Kid and in the Morning.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
The Book of Dots for Waves from nineteen thirteen. It's
originally we were reading from the Book of don'ts for
for Husbands.

Speaker 1 (04:30):
Which I found in an up shop in Sydney, and
then we got sent the Book of Wives. We finally
found it another very thrifty shopper has founded in a
second hand store in Brisbane.

Speaker 2 (04:43):
Author blanched A bo.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Blanche Blanche is doing it.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
So we have the red copy, which is wives, and
the blue copy, which.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Very good one.

Speaker 12 (04:50):
There's anything about dolphin there.

Speaker 3 (04:51):
This is fine.

Speaker 4 (04:52):
Well, let's see.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Let's see, because Blanche has got some some don'ts for wives,
here we go. I would worry about the little faulty
and your husband, which merely amused you in your lover.
If they were not important, then they're not important now. Besides,
what about yours. Don't put on airs with your husband.
If you can't be natural with him, you shouldn't have

(05:14):
married him. Don't expect your husband to be an angel.
You get very tired of him if he were. Don't
boast of your husband's money, or birth or cleverness to
your friends. It's nearly as bad as boasting on your own.

Speaker 5 (05:32):
What can you tell.

Speaker 4 (05:33):
People what a great catch you've got.

Speaker 12 (05:34):
He earns a big buck, and he's.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
A spot, absolutely not a Don't tell your oh, this
is very important. Don't tell all your women friends of
your husband's faults, but don't din his perfections into the
years of every woman you meet. Be satisfied and enjoy them.

Speaker 4 (05:52):
Okay, that day work in nineteen thirteen.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
I love this book to interrupt.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Read that and don't interpret too literally the obey of
the marriage service marriage. Your husband has no right to
control your individuality.

Speaker 4 (06:19):
Thank you.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Don't be discontented and think your husband is not manly
because he happens to be short and thin and not
very strong.

Speaker 4 (06:32):
Manliness is not purely physical quality.

Speaker 9 (06:39):
Reatter.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
Don't take your husband at his own valuation, but at yours.
He may be unduly modest or just a little too cockshaw.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
Yeah, I've met the cockshaw ones cockshaws.

Speaker 10 (07:02):
Okay, for the rest of this week, we are bringing cockshaw.
And you know what we should also do if someone's
calling us and gets cockshaw into a sentence, Yes, enterprise competition.

Speaker 2 (07:17):
Yes we will reward because ball. If you're about to
have a go at cash or crash and your cockshaw
about your we're going to give you every boost weekend.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Robin Kith and couriotes.

Speaker 4 (07:34):
Oh, this is interesting.

Speaker 1 (07:35):
What are the top ten suburbs where people dump stuff
illegally in Brisbane?

Speaker 3 (07:42):
Right? Ten?

Speaker 4 (07:43):
Top ten, I've got the top ten suburbs.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
These are not the times when there's legal collection collection
happening out the front. Now be able to just dump
it wherever I saw a mattress the other day somewhere
it was that was in Capella Bar. There was just
a mattress out in front of someone's place.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Yeah no, No, collar has not made the top ten Okay.

Speaker 9 (08:02):
Suburbs recently driving south Side the Morning Side.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Like Morning Side's number six.

Speaker 9 (08:10):
Really there's always just stuff randomly.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
It's interesting. I wonder if it's to do with the
more apartments and rental, like, the more likely people are
to go.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
I just can't then, okay, yes, and I think you
are correct. So where else? I've got ten suburbs in front?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Okay, Anala has not made the top Okay, so Hamilton,
no lot of apartments, no.

Speaker 4 (08:33):
Okay, Number ten is Annalie.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (08:36):
Number nine is Sunny Bank.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
Yeah, okay.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
Number eight is run Corn. Yeah, number seven is Karna.

Speaker 8 (08:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Number six is morning Side. You people like you Krena
Morning Side.

Speaker 2 (08:48):
It's all around my hood.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
It's around.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
Number five Forest Lake that's right next to the Yeah.
Yes it is a Williwong, it absolutely is. Number four
is COOPERU.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Yeah it is all that.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Because because I've just moved to Karina, it took me
fourteen minutes to get to the Chandler dump. That's how
close it is.

Speaker 4 (09:10):
It's so good. It is the laziest it's not me.
Three is New Farm that's where.

Speaker 5 (09:16):
The apartments are, but it's just horrible.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Number two is sunny Bank Hills.

Speaker 2 (09:21):
So Sunny Bank gets two goes and.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
The number one place of complaints for illegal dumping Marooka marooka.

Speaker 3 (09:33):
Lazier.

Speaker 4 (09:34):
It is well, it's just okay.

Speaker 1 (09:36):
So in my world, like and I go to the dump,
but I drive them as to two, so I have
to borrow someone with a bigger car and then or
a trailer.

Speaker 4 (09:44):
There's nothing forget okay, but then you're hiring a youth.
There's a cost attached to.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
That levels and layers of work.

Speaker 1 (09:51):
I mean, I'm not I don't do that skip bins
Like we're just about to get a skippin because the
boys are moving out of their rental property in Baden
because to try and sort out and like, if you've
seen me driving, can you imagine me driving with the trail.

Speaker 9 (10:05):
I don't want that for the world people to pick
up your stuff.

Speaker 2 (10:09):
And you know the other thing I'd be interested to
know is how much of how much skip bins get
filled by neighbors because you wait till you get that
skip Bin is going to be That'll be chockers before
you've even started.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
It feels like you have to Where I live, you.

Speaker 2 (10:25):
Live behind fences.

Speaker 4 (10:26):
Yeah all the time.

Speaker 2 (10:30):
If you've got it out on the curb. That baby's
getting for.

Speaker 11 (10:35):
So king telling me he's dreaming.

Speaker 2 (10:37):
You are dreaming, Robin, Kip and Coury. In the after
you've opened Instagram, TikTok Facebook in the last month, you
will have heard this song. The man behind it joins us.
Right now, Hey, John, here you.

Speaker 3 (10:58):
Go, mate, you are what about you?

Speaker 2 (11:01):
Very good mate? What a crazy ride this last couple
of years has been this song, Yeah, has just gone
crazy and it's you know, fifteen sixteen years after you
recorded it.

Speaker 8 (11:13):
Yeah, we released it in twenty ten or so of January.
So I recorded it the summer two thousand and nine,
and all of a sudden, some person I don't know
who in Eastern Europe desided to put it on a
video with John.

Speaker 1 (11:34):
Literally happen overnight, like your life changed within a week.

Speaker 8 (11:39):
Yeah, pretty much. I thought I was done with singing,
and I wasn't.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
How does it work with this song?

Speaker 9 (11:45):
Like when they put it on that video, How does
that work. Do you get contacted by someone and saying, hey,
this is going nuts, like you know.

Speaker 3 (11:54):
Are you getting paid for this?

Speaker 9 (11:56):
Or like how does that work now? Because it's so
easy for people to put music on the songs and
then you know that video I don't and I make
money from that video.

Speaker 13 (12:05):
So is there what this person's done.

Speaker 8 (12:09):
I don't know who it is, but someone decided that
this song fit that memes extremely well, that video extremely well. Yeah,
but I got I got a message from a Ukrainian
girl living in Denmark saying this is all over my
feet and I was like, what is going on? And
then a couple of weeks later, I got this notification
from my Apple Music profile that I haven't used in

(12:31):
I don't know how long, and.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
It said number five in the world and she's some.

Speaker 8 (12:43):
So I went in and I said, okay, it actually
looks like it's the hard work from that single, so
I call it the label on a Sunday.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
It went very happy about that.

Speaker 8 (12:51):
When they found out what I wanted, I was like,
you know, we're number five in the world and they didn't, so.

Speaker 2 (13:01):
So you were saying that you're out of music. What
have you been doing the last.

Speaker 8 (13:04):
Few years, I managed artists. I worked with DJs. Oh yeah,
I've been doing that for the last fifteen years. So
the first DJ who was on the first version in
twenty ten was the guy I managed. He didn't have
a single and I had actually stopped singing. But I
had this one song, Turned the Lights of Song, and
I said, you want to jump on it because he

(13:24):
needed one. And then two years later he can live
a bit?

Speaker 4 (13:28):
Did Cato cover?

Speaker 2 (13:30):
Was it Jose? The original song?

Speaker 8 (13:33):
I worked at a radio station when I didn't really
know what I wanted to do with my life, like you.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
Guys, Yes, yeah, hanger. So were you like a like
on air DJ type of thing?

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Yeah? Yeah.

Speaker 8 (13:47):
I had this boss who liked Dutch music and he
played Dutch dance music all the time. And I heard
this Turn the Lights of song, but say, and I
really liked it, and back then I yeah, I thought, okay,
it's not going to happen here. So I consected them
and I bought the license for it and acted as
the label. But it didn't really connect. It didn't really work.

(14:09):
So I thought, okay, let me just re record the vocals,
and I did, and I did a new production and
gave it to Cato and then he had.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
A single You Are.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
So when you re recorded it was the original version
your it wasn't your voice on it.

Speaker 8 (14:24):
The first one we did, you say was not my voice.
The two thousand and ten version with Cato was my voice.
And then I re recorded again. Last year I did
a new one.

Speaker 2 (14:32):
I mean, that's pretty cool that you that you've heard
that song and thought, you know what, I can hit
all those notes? This is this is that it's not.

Speaker 8 (14:39):
You want want to hear a better story, Yes, you
want to hear a better one.

Speaker 3 (14:42):
Yeah. So I heard this instrumental track.

Speaker 8 (14:49):
Friend posted on Facebook and said this is great, and
it had like nineteen hundred views I think on YouTube,
and I just wanted that song so and back then
I was buying these licenses. So I kept calling this
man you saying I need this one, and he said,
just signed it to a Swiss label. And I don't
know who you are and I never heard of you,
but you know, try challenge to this dude. So I

(15:09):
kept calling the Swiss guy and apparently they understood that
I meant business, so they sold it to me. And
that song was tim berg Bromance, his first gold record.

Speaker 3 (15:22):
I did that one.

Speaker 12 (15:22):
Whoa, whoa.

Speaker 4 (15:24):
Yeah right, that's a good story.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
You're going to need it for it.

Speaker 8 (15:30):
So when you when you saw the first Netflix documentary
where they were hanging up a gold record within the
first ten minutes, that was my company name on it.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
Wow, Robin Keith and carry on it in the morning
and where we.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
Got you this morning, John Denmark in Denmark.

Speaker 1 (15:46):
So do you like your Princess Mary or Queen Mary?
That's got to be the first astrilling question.

Speaker 3 (15:51):
Right, it is. It is the first one.

Speaker 8 (15:53):
That she's Tasmanian, right, yeah, well you know that, yeah
very much.

Speaker 2 (15:59):
Oh okay, I thought you were just going to say
she's Dasmanian and leave it at that.

Speaker 12 (16:06):
Okay, now you do like it.

Speaker 6 (16:07):
Okay, she's Tasmanian and you like it.

Speaker 12 (16:12):
That's important.

Speaker 2 (16:13):
That's an important extentence job.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
We're quite parochial in these countries. She's just Tasmanian is
its own thing.

Speaker 12 (16:24):
Yeah, oh we she had just done that.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
She's Tasmanian. Yeah yeah, right.

Speaker 1 (16:32):
Are we going to see you in Australia? Are you
thinking about touring? Are you going to come and take
full advantage of the fact we're talking to you at
five point thirty in the morning.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
I don't know.

Speaker 8 (16:43):
I've had or five show offers from Australia. Now I
need to get back into Sheep and I need to start.

Speaker 3 (16:51):
That is hard, hard work.

Speaker 2 (16:57):
That's funny diversary. Oh man, I got to get back
in before.

Speaker 8 (17:03):
It's just running around, running around on stage, huffing.

Speaker 3 (17:06):
And perfect work.

Speaker 12 (17:11):
I mean, you look all right.

Speaker 2 (17:12):
I don't know what's going on under that, buddy.

Speaker 8 (17:15):
But you look fine under the all kinds of things.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
And ever since you said that you work in radio,
I've just been thinking. We've been doing this competition lately.
We're sort of where we're going back to, you know,
to the nineties, where we're doing this thing called posting Olympics.
I don't know if it's if that translates well, but
it's posting where you talk over the start of the
song and you talk right after the lyrics, like old
school DJ thing.

Speaker 3 (17:42):
Oh my god, I haven't done that.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
Okay, So I'm going to make it very easy for
you because I'm going to use your song, right, okay,
So I want you to talk. I think it's a
twenty second intro, so I want you to talk over it.
If you can say, we've got this competition called cash
or ash, So if you can just somehow incorporate the
casual crash is coming up and then any other things

(18:05):
that you want to mention Australia. Yes, whatever, you get
in the shape okay, and then you talk right up
to this.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
I'm getting.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
All right, this is you. This is your first workout, mate,
so all the way up there. Don't crash the lyrics. Okay,
are you ready?

Speaker 3 (18:22):
John? Here we go. Good morning guys. You're listening to
this and we are having The crash.

Speaker 8 (18:30):
Was a crash out pressing posting Olympics. Christ and John
Han danced to it, so can you and always early
in the morning for get your dancing shoes on and
get going, guys.

Speaker 6 (18:50):
You still gotta it is every day mate, day.

Speaker 2 (19:05):
Oh, it's been so good to talk to you. Yeah,
if you ever do come to Australia, we'd love to
see you here.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Mates.

Speaker 8 (19:11):
So and congratulations yeah thanks.

Speaker 5 (19:16):
That Robin Kid and Cooreo.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
It's halfway through the podcast.

Speaker 1 (19:24):
You know, we get all this stuff on our feeds
and like a lot of it's just speculation, the people
dropping rubbish. A lot of it's AI and I try
and do deep dives to just get credibility for people
that save stuff.

Speaker 4 (19:34):
I cannot with this guy.

Speaker 1 (19:35):
I'm not sure who he is, but what he has
to say is interesting and I think you two would
particularly be interested in it.

Speaker 14 (19:42):
Australia is officially now classified by the World Bank as
a third World country because when your growth management strategy
goes past two point five percent, you are then considered
a third World country, which means your infrastructure can no
longer keep up with your growth. So as the Gold
Coast gets eight hundred and eighty new cars every week
coming into the general area Southeast Queens with one road
to it and one road from it, it is a problem.

(20:03):
So you could build a brand new hospital in the
Gold Coast, but you can't put any nurses there because
they can't have housing and you can't get them to
that location, so they will get a job somewhere else.
There's only three big engine rooms, and that would be Melbourne,
Sydney and Brisbane. But if you look at us as cattle,
we're running four hundred and forty people put a square
kilometer in Sydney and Melbourne, but only one hundred and
sixty in Brisbane, which means we can't support our infrastructure

(20:23):
even if we had it, and so fundamentally we are
a third world country. We can't produce the infrastructure for
the sheer numbers that we have, and that's the problem.
The most unaffordable nation in the English speaking world for
fifteen years in the road.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
Go wow, well, the most unaffordable nation in the Western world. Yep,
far out what I mean.

Speaker 1 (20:41):
I know he was talking really quickly, but it's like
it sounds it kind of makes sense if we don't
have the infrastructure in place to be able to one
of the people that are coming.

Speaker 4 (20:50):
Yeah, that is the case.

Speaker 2 (20:52):
I guess. The good news is we're not third world,
and the are the ones that count, like healthcare and
things like that.

Speaker 3 (20:57):
Nah, Yeah, we're doing all right.

Speaker 13 (20:59):
They're the ones we are things.

Speaker 2 (21:00):
They are the places you don't want to be third world.

Speaker 4 (21:02):
That's interesting.

Speaker 2 (21:06):
It sounds right. He's got a very authoritative voice and
that put that good music behind us.

Speaker 10 (21:10):
That makes all it makes sense to me.

Speaker 2 (21:14):
Yeah, it sounds like a good bee. That's interesting. Even
that stat about having eight hundred new cars every week
on the Gold Coast and then but then there's not
enough roads like traffic's already bad. So you think about that,
that influx of people every week, all of a sudden,
it takes you forever to get anywhere, which it does anyone,
anyone who commutes to Brizzy from the Goldie Those it's

(21:35):
a nightmare. Yeah, what do we do think about?

Speaker 4 (21:39):
No solutions here, just.

Speaker 15 (21:40):
Pondering Solution podcast with your Day Robin Ki and Couriot.

Speaker 5 (21:52):
In the morning.

Speaker 1 (21:53):
Okay, I have found something that is going to be
pome part of my regular routine if I want to laugh.
This is the place to find it. The Southeast Queensland
community page. You know how like every suburb has their own,
but this is like a catch all. And there is
this one post that I have to read you okay,

(22:13):
and you're gonna love it you too. My husband went
to Bunnings for potting mix. He came home with a goat.
What not a toy goat, a real one. Apparently there
was someone in the car park he knew, and they
knew someone whose mate couldn't keep it anymore. And now
this goat is ours. We live on barely half an acre.

(22:38):
The goat now follows him everywhere. I keep asking him
what the long term plan is for this, and his
answer is always we will figure it out. This is
the same strategy that got us the goat. How do
I convince a forty seven year old man that a
goat is livestock and not a pet. I think he's

(23:00):
becoming attached. What happens when we go on holidays. We
can't take a goat to.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
A boarding kennel.

Speaker 1 (23:07):
I don't know if I can even keep a goat.

Speaker 4 (23:09):
On half an acre? Can we please say no?

Speaker 12 (23:14):
I don't know how you can.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
You're right, so good.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
It would have made more sense if he was going
to pick up a lawn mower and came back with
the goat. Yeah, but.

Speaker 1 (23:26):
Well, this is the thing that's also great about this
community page is what people write in the comments.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
So listen to this.

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Get him to take the goat to the farmer's market
where he can swap it for some magic beans like
Jack and the Bens. And then from Elizabeth, ma'am, your
husband is the goat, My moa died and our grass
is out of control.

Speaker 4 (23:48):
You want my address?

Speaker 2 (23:50):
I've heard about there are people that will deliver goats
to a block, to a site the cloud of control
with thistles and things.

Speaker 9 (23:57):
Because guy famous online that does it helps peoples. Yeah,
like twenty of them and within.

Speaker 12 (24:04):
Twenty four hours it is clear.

Speaker 2 (24:06):
Yeah clean, they were twenty four twenty four Goats will
work harder than like one thousand council workers.

Speaker 3 (24:12):
Yeah, those.

Speaker 2 (24:15):
Just get everything done.

Speaker 12 (24:16):
They're incredible.

Speaker 1 (24:18):
Would you do something like that, I would imagine that.
I mean no, I reckon you would do that if
someone was convince you in a car park that I
made of a mate and you needed to help out.

Speaker 2 (24:28):
Yeah, if that's a dog, that dog in the back
of my truck, go to hard go through a hard
one because they literally eat everything. Look, if you've got
plants that you like, they don't care.

Speaker 13 (24:39):
Everything's gone.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
I had a friend who's got a bit of bit
of land a couple of hours out of Brizzy and
they had a couple of goats and they're also growing
their own veggies, and it was just it was just
a nightmare combination. They would do anything to get to
the vegebles, They ate through steel wire, they did anything.
So no, no, I'm a no for goat.

Speaker 4 (25:00):
But I'm I'm all for the random thing in the.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Bunny car park.

Speaker 5 (25:04):
I love that.

Speaker 1 (25:07):
And you know, the community pages forever helpful because Tiffany
came in going, I volunteered to goat sit for you
when you go on holidays.

Speaker 5 (25:14):
Problem solved.

Speaker 2 (25:15):
There you go sort of a stranger.

Speaker 7 (25:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Yeah, Tiffany's been accused of twelve breaking engines now, so
that's true, Robin. And in the morning, remember last week
on the show, we were talking about that incredible car
accident which ended up with a motorcycle was being crushed
by a hatchback and ten people ran to the scene
and lifted the car and helped the man.

Speaker 1 (25:37):
Yes, yeah, we had two eye witnesses and they were
like cool, calm, collected and doing the Australian thing.

Speaker 13 (25:44):
Did It.

Speaker 2 (25:46):
Felt great about being Australia, being in a Queenslander. And
so yesterday I went to I went to Ikea. Remember
those Billy bookshelves that I was going to buy and
then you guys man shamed me because I was consider
having them delivered and assembled and assembled yes, yeah, yeah,
and I got too embarrassed then after you outed me,
so I was like, now I pick them up and

(26:08):
I build him myself. So I went out there to
buy the I here at Springwood did the click and
collect and got them down on the trolley. They arrived
on a trolley, took them in the elevator, got down
to where my car was. I'm alone those bookcases because
the wood that they use, you know, is chipboard, and
it's like ninety percent glue. It's they're so heavy. They're

(26:29):
so much heavier than I expected. And so I got
to the point of trying to lift one of these
bookcases into the tray of the ute, and I could
not do it, like it's way too heavy. And so
I'm trying trying to use the trolley as leverage. So
I'm leaning like hard on one side to tilt it
up and try and slide it. And then the whole
trolley had rolled forward into the car. Now six people

(26:54):
want to pass me? Six seven people walk, asked me,
as I'm making this sound.

Speaker 11 (27:07):
Not one person, no one, not one person?

Speaker 4 (27:11):
When were they men or women?

Speaker 13 (27:13):
Both?

Speaker 2 (27:14):
There were three men, three women, and one of the men,
I swear he like he.

Speaker 5 (27:18):
Knew he had blinkers on. I saw he just he
walked within a.

Speaker 2 (27:23):
Half a meter of me and walked straight. Asked me,
as I nearly popped her. I thought they would offer.

Speaker 8 (27:32):
No.

Speaker 2 (27:33):
Not one person offered his eyes.

Speaker 13 (27:35):
What did you do?

Speaker 2 (27:36):
I ended up there was a park bench there, and
I ended up using the park bench as leverage to
leave it up higher high enough, and then got down
on like right full squat and I lifted like a
Scotsman trying to throw a thing over another thing. And
I was just and I slid it into the back
of the car. And I don't know how I was

(27:56):
gone on there?

Speaker 3 (27:57):
But what what is so scrude?

Speaker 1 (28:07):
If anyone, if you are any of those six people
that happened to be walking past Kick, please text us
four oh nine nine seven three nine seven three.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
I need to speak to your privately.

Speaker 2 (28:21):
One of them is eating a soft ser.

Speaker 6 (28:23):
Did you giggle as you walk fast?

Speaker 10 (28:25):
I love it.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
It's Rob GiB It's on Kiss ninety seventh.

Speaker 5 (28:29):
Through Robin Kith and Coreotes Kith Whiteman. You are a
dark course.

Speaker 1 (28:39):
I had a chat, a long chat yes to one
of your very good friends.

Speaker 4 (28:46):
And it's someone that I've got to know, and Corey's.

Speaker 1 (28:49):
Got to know because we've done a couple of trips
to Vegas and he lives in Vegas and he went
to school with you. I am talking about Adam tell
Us about Adam because he's he's doing extraordinarily well for
himself in the States.

Speaker 8 (29:03):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
So Adam and I, yeah, high school together. Then we've
been family friends for a long time. Our mum and dad.
Mums and dads were friends. So he's now started a
touring bus company. He went over. He's a really good
bass player, so he went over to the States with
the band to try and make it in music. And
while they were traveling around, they bought a cheap old bus.
He realized that there was a huge market for bus

(29:27):
tours and so started he and I went Halves in
his first bus all those years ago, bought the Golden
Nugget and now he owns about like fifteen twenty twenty. Yeah,
and so you know all these great Australian bands and
so many bands that I know, Like I think he
just had Angus and Julius Stone on a tour and yeah,
so he's touring around the world and yeah, he's doing great.

Speaker 4 (29:51):
And he's got a really big heart, and he was speaking.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
He contacted me because he wanted to try and get
in touch with Gout. Gout's family because of what's going
on in America at the moment. He wanted to offer
the family if they wanted to go and watch out
Gout Race, that he would provide a bus and a driver,
and he thought I might be able to help him
do that.

Speaker 4 (30:09):
So we were just chatting.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
And the other thing that's interesting about Adam is that
his girlfriend is someone.

Speaker 4 (30:16):
Who is also quite close to you. Her name is Susan.
Now why is Susan close to you?

Speaker 2 (30:21):
Well, when COVID was happening over in the States, like
obviously it was happening everywhere, but over in the States
it was wild. They had the Black Lives Matter protests
happening at the same time, and they were kind of
homeless because they know, all the tours got shut down.
So Adam and Susan were staying in one of the
buses and I said, come and live with me, come
and live downstairs at my house, which they did and

(30:42):
end up staying for over a year. And Susan fell
in love with my dogs and has right and refused
to go home. Right, So she lives down the road
from us.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
Yes, And Susan takes care of the dogs and loves
the dogs, and he's completely passionate about.

Speaker 3 (30:56):
The dot over the dog.

Speaker 2 (30:58):
She is their primary care.

Speaker 1 (30:59):
Yes, yes, he is their primary caress. So this is
my question, Kip Whiteman, where are the dogs now?

Speaker 2 (31:05):
Well, we moved house a couple of weeks ago and
I don't have the fences up yet.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
Hang on yet, hang on, hang on? Is there or
is there not a dog door in any of the
doors in your house.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
We have not got a dog door yet. No yet yet.

Speaker 4 (31:27):
He's just done a new build. You put a dog
door in.

Speaker 1 (31:30):
If you're putting a door in, I post to you,
Kip Whiteman, you are never getting those dogs back, and
that is what you have always learned.

Speaker 8 (31:39):
And here we are.

Speaker 2 (31:41):
Let me tell you this then, Robin. The good people
at Crimsafe have just installed all my security screens, including a.

Speaker 13 (31:51):
Door with a dog door in your face.

Speaker 1 (31:59):
Is not because Adams just like no Susan's got She's
never given him back and doesn't care.

Speaker 12 (32:05):
You don't care.

Speaker 7 (32:06):
I do care.

Speaker 13 (32:07):
I don't have a.

Speaker 2 (32:09):
Rather, they are safe in Susan's care than running on
the street.

Speaker 4 (32:15):
It's Corey who's siding you on.

Speaker 5 (32:18):
You ain't getting back.

Speaker 2 (32:23):
I don't listen to you. I've seen them, I'm going
to I do feel I may have to pry them
out of Susan's cold deadheads. I can't come back there.

Speaker 4 (32:35):
You are a cold dog hate.

Speaker 5 (32:42):
That'll do me, Robin, Kip and Corey.

Speaker 2 (32:47):
Now this brand new season A Farmer Wants a Wife.

Speaker 4 (32:50):
Yes, it's coming back to Channel seven.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
But have a listen to this because this is now
like a global thing, a global reality television franchise. Two
hundred and fifty fifteen marriages worldwide, including eleven in Australia,
five hundred and sixty six beautiful farmer babies worldwide, including
twenty eight in Australia, and thirteen long term relationships in Australia.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
I do not know why we care about maths so much.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
This is where the success is people, isn't it ever?

Speaker 5 (33:21):
Yeah, so it makes sense.

Speaker 9 (33:23):
You know, farmers are real.

Speaker 3 (33:24):
Mass is just all fake.

Speaker 13 (33:26):
I'm going to be honest.

Speaker 3 (33:27):
I'm going to put a black one for you. That's it.

Speaker 2 (33:29):
Well, we've got a couple of the farmers from this
season joining us in the studio. We've got Alex who's
twenty eight from King Kin and Jason thirty seven years
old from Kola Bunya.

Speaker 9 (33:44):
Whereabous is its King Roy Okay right, ten ks out
of King Arroy.

Speaker 5 (33:53):
Yeah, okay, how come you do a single Alex?

Speaker 2 (33:57):
What's the dating scene in kingkin.

Speaker 12 (33:59):
Mate populations about six hundred and they're all taken.

Speaker 2 (34:03):
Okay, and you're are you a Broncos fan?

Speaker 16 (34:09):
Died?

Speaker 2 (34:09):
I see you haven't got a selfie with Corey at
the start.

Speaker 12 (34:11):
Here, I'm going to be honest with you. I'm a
storm man, I was born in Melbourne. I'm pivoting to Broncos.

Speaker 3 (34:17):
Okay, It's okay.

Speaker 12 (34:18):
They beat us a lot, It's all good.

Speaker 9 (34:20):
They're still queens that I reckon.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
Talk to us about the girls that came on the
show this year. Obviously we're not going to give away
too much, but was it an exciting moment when they
all walked in and you got to meet your your
future bride potentially?

Speaker 16 (34:31):
You know it was? It was a total shock to
meet the whole process. Because I tried watching a bit
of the show going into it. It made me too
bloody nervous just watch it it all. I was like,
I'm just going to roar dog it and sorry morning
Radio and so yeah, when they told me we were
speed dating all these lovely ladies and we had like
truly ten minutes with each of it all right, I

(34:53):
got to get down to brass tacks pretty quick.

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Did you know, like from the start, could you have
done a quick cul if you had to, like just
gone right, this is dis person never going to make
it quick?

Speaker 12 (35:01):
Color that they were?

Speaker 2 (35:06):
Honestly that was there a few people that you knew
straight off the bat that weren't going to make it.

Speaker 12 (35:10):
Yeah, I mean it's tough, like speed dating is tough.

Speaker 16 (35:12):
Sometimes you're just not your full self and that gets
in the way of it, Like it's hard to be
your true self.

Speaker 12 (35:18):
In so much pressure. So yeah, there were a few
that you didn't quite crack it.

Speaker 2 (35:21):
But what about you, Jason, You want to send a
couple straight out the pasture?

Speaker 4 (35:29):
They are not cows? Okay?

Speaker 13 (35:32):
I was cleen to get to get to know them
all first for I sent them out.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
What was it like?

Speaker 12 (35:39):
Was it really confronting at that at the start?

Speaker 9 (35:41):
Was it really hard to obviously start conversations with complete randoms?

Speaker 2 (35:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 13 (35:46):
Well everyone was obviously nervous. Yeah, being in that pressure situation,
and you got like cameras there and they had like
three or four people watching the date dates the whole
time and ten minutes that's weird.

Speaker 16 (35:59):
These things is when we're on the speed dates, because
I obviously we're making TV, we'd be talking about some
things and then one of the producers be like, boring,
what are you talking about?

Speaker 2 (36:09):
What did your mate say, Jason when you said I'm
going on Farmer wants a Wife?

Speaker 7 (36:13):
Oh?

Speaker 13 (36:13):
They all laugh said, yeah, what are you doing? But yeah,
I was scared to go on there. And yeah going
on there and realizing to talk about your feelings every day?

Speaker 5 (36:27):
Did you not think that was going to happen?

Speaker 13 (36:31):
Maybe not talking about so much, but okay, So.

Speaker 4 (36:35):
The promos are saying that someone proposes, is that one
of you two?

Speaker 12 (36:41):
I have to wait and see him something.

Speaker 1 (36:44):
Well, I was hoping you could see their faces clearly
if someone's gone red. I'm not going to lie.

Speaker 2 (36:54):
Please please check out the socials. If there's some of
this will go up on our socials. And you see
the difference between the two that Alex is leaning into
the mic, comfortable as can be. Jason can't get far
enough away from the microp.

Speaker 9 (37:04):
We're going to see We're going to get to see
Jay Skinner.

Speaker 13 (37:08):
Yeah, I think you.

Speaker 2 (37:11):
Get the kid kid off as well as we're all.

Speaker 12 (37:14):
I got my kid off in my promo video.

Speaker 3 (37:17):
The guys not on. Is the kid ever on at work?

Speaker 2 (37:24):
Was that filmed on the Sunny Coast?

Speaker 12 (37:26):
Was it my farm's in Kinkin? This is an hour
west of.

Speaker 2 (37:28):
Yeah, okay, oh yeah of course. So it's not really
all filmed at one place like maps like, it's actually.

Speaker 9 (37:33):
Farmer on not not not not suburban.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
They all get together at some stage. So where's the
spot where you all got together and did stuff?

Speaker 12 (37:42):
You're down the Hunter Valley?

Speaker 2 (37:43):
Okay, it's a tough gi Yeah, alcohol you up. Well,
you're not going to tell us who's who's hooked up.
But so we're gonna have to watch for that, but
we'll watch with interest and hopefully we'll have another chat
to you through the show.

Speaker 5 (37:57):
Thanks for coming in, boy, Robin Keep and Coryote in
the morning,
