the human error out of it, and they seem to
increase the human era they have.

the air like a rollercoaster.

Okay, it's boxing boxing. I've just joined the Coopero Boxing Club.

Speaker 1 (05:46):
And there's this cool guy called Harry who's the most
laid back to it on the planet and he owns it.

Speaker 6 (05:51):
And I do it with my kids.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
So it started that Finn, my eldest, was doing it
with his girlfriend Ella because they live locally, and then
they were trying to get my middle sun Lewin into it.

Speaker 6 (06:01):
And the good thing about it is so this gym is.

Speaker 1 (06:04):
Like fully equipped and they do our long sessions and
you can go at your own pace, so if you
just want to go bang bang bang.

Speaker 6 (06:13):
You can. Or they're like, what are you hitting pads?
There's all these what are they called? What are those
big bags? The bags, there's all these.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I'm so up with all the lingo, but they put
all these bags and then you do different routines and
you do aerobics like you do running, and then you
do floor exercises.

Speaker 6 (06:33):
You have to do planks, but it's so cool.

Speaker 2 (06:36):
It's exhausting.

Speaker 14 (06:38):
Conscious, so you know, my jab jab cross yea, yeah,
yeahs And I don't even know what those what are
those pummel ones called the ones that you do down below.

Speaker 2 (06:51):
Fund I used to get into like I had a
trainer that would bring out the pads, you know, and
you do that whole left, left, right out, duck in
the arm over and all jab cross, yeah, jab jab cross,
down the upper cut, uppercut, step back, step back, come forward.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 6 (07:09):
It was good and tiring.

Speaker 2 (07:11):
See our boxes, after like five rounds, you're going they
can't knock anyone out because they've got nothing left.

Speaker 6 (07:16):
Exhausted.

Speaker 9 (07:18):
Just actually holding your arms up like that for like minutes,
it's actually really hard.

Speaker 6 (07:23):
So why don't you come?

Speaker 5 (07:24):
Because they do sessions.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
They do like five five thirty six thirty in the
morning and then five thirty six thirty at night.

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Yeah, okay, and okay, it's going to be half for me. Yeah,
with a two year old and six year old. Come on,
that's like, that's that's all means.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
If you haven't noticed, no time works for kids.

Speaker 6 (07:41):
No eleven thirty What in the morning.

Speaker 3 (07:44):
In the morning, I can do eleven get under the day? Nothing?

Speaker 6 (07:48):
What about Saturday mornings?

Speaker 3 (07:50):
Morning?

Speaker 6 (07:51):
I think six seven and eight.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
No I got jiujit RAFFI is jiu jitsu.

Speaker 6 (08:02):
And Harry is the best.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
He's the most laid back, makes everyone feel welcome. Like
my first day was so like nervous, and I'm just going,
I'm not doing this because trying to remember the different
like routiney bits, what are they?

Speaker 6 (08:14):
I don't even know what they're called the job and
I was just getting my head so screwed up. And
he goes, It's okay, no one's.

Speaker 10 (08:22):
Looking at you.

Speaker 9 (08:23):
That's true because.

Speaker 3 (08:26):
Everyone else is like.

Speaker 15 (08:28):
I can't breathe.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Everybody else is trying to remember.

Speaker 9 (08:31):
Yeah, you think I'm good, but I got that many
things that are wrong with me. I'm dropping because these
ribs aren't but they're not. They're not well, not many
of them in the right places, and if you hit
one of them.

Speaker 1 (08:46):
I organized with Harry for one like lunchtime, like after
the show.

Speaker 6 (08:51):
The three of us could go down. Mitch could come down,
all right, Yeah for that?

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Do that?

Speaker 16 (09:00):
Corey?

Speaker 3 (09:00):
Hey, yeah maybe yep? What sign him up for it?

Speaker 9 (09:08):
Actually, I can't hit heavy bags anymore because absolutely buggering,
I'm gonna do something like some sort of stuff. It's
just heavy bags. I can't hit like the bag you're
talking about heavy bags, I can't actually hit them in
the midst and I'm gonna do combos with kid and
I'm just.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Smacking Yeah the pants, you gotta don't.

Speaker 6 (09:34):
I'll organize it with Harry. You can go down. We
can record it. Which one is like that and can
do it with us? Yeah, yeah, we'll.

Speaker 5 (09:42):
Do it target Robin, Kith and Cores in the morning.

Speaker 2 (09:49):
Right now, we're talking about kids swearing inappropriately.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
Yeah, Hux is four, Yeah, yeah, is four.

Speaker 9 (09:56):
And I just remember that this would have been maybe
six months. I don't remember exactly, but you know, people
came off, you know when the lane ends and they're
flying up in traffic and you know it's just there's.

Speaker 3 (10:08):
No room and you've got to see me breaks on
and whatever.

Speaker 9 (10:11):
Yeah, anyway, I've done it one day and I've turned
my horn and you know, gave him a lot of
a lot more not out of my mouth, hand signals,
and then I'm like that absolute waker, like you know,
just just I.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Wasn't in a good mood. And then it happened about
three minutes later, same thing.

Speaker 9 (10:32):
And because I've too mate before and then Hucksy goes,
and I've turned this bloke and never said the words.
And then Hucks goes, was he awaken that?

Speaker 4 (10:43):
What?

Speaker 10 (10:44):
What?

Speaker 3 (10:45):
And he said was that doing a wonk two? Not
his new favorite word?

Speaker 4 (10:54):
Wood Hill?

Speaker 6 (10:55):
What happens?

Speaker 8 (10:57):
Hey? So to hit the scene the move into a
new house, living with the in laws. The men were
doing stuff out in the yard. The kids are playing
in the yard, and the women thought, hey, we'll go
down and pick up some lunch for everybody. So off
we took, you know, got the lunch. Come home. Then
my husband comes up to us as if he said
there was no way I could chastise him. He said,

(11:19):
but our fam sit near on the front patio. So
all you guys drive out and out of the mouth
came for if sake. They've gone out and left me.

Speaker 1 (11:33):
In such great context, the out of Red Bank planes.

Speaker 6 (11:42):
What happens?

Speaker 17 (11:44):
Okay, So we were at home, we just finished a
market and I had to give my sons a European
He was at two years old, eighty months two years old,
and he's standing on the skis beside the bench. The
Europan plunge of pops. The neuropan ended up all over
the bench, and I tried my hardest to not swear.
I just growled and he goes stands to me. He's like, ah, sake.

Speaker 6 (12:10):
It's appropriate. I mean you are holding it together.

Speaker 2 (12:14):
You just said what you what you were feeling?

Speaker 4 (12:22):
Them?

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Hello?

Speaker 7 (12:23):
Here you going?

Speaker 3 (12:24):
What are you doing some sandy?

Speaker 4 (12:27):
Oh I'm down at the men shed at beach me
on your warrant.

Speaker 6 (12:31):
So what happened?

Speaker 10 (12:34):
My daughter was about four to five, sitting in the
back of the car with a window half down on it.

Speaker 2 (12:39):
And anyway, we come down via a water works road and.

Speaker 15 (12:45):
The this wanker cut you off.

Speaker 5 (12:50):
And I let fly with a few bombs, sho.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
Are you e f?

Speaker 13 (12:56):
And such and such?

Speaker 5 (12:59):
Here? Why did you cut me off?

Speaker 2 (13:01):
You're waking ye.

Speaker 10 (13:04):
Anyway, A couple of months later, uh, we come down
on the Calvin Grave, ride through the back past the
radio post office and this.

Speaker 13 (13:16):
Guy cut us off down the end and my daughter's
window was half down.

Speaker 5 (13:21):
And next year he come out come all this.

Speaker 2 (13:24):
Basically, this guy's face you could have walked up was
just raid by a four year old. I'll never forget
to look on his face.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
Now.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
I still remember it, and was a pride or shame
on your face? It was uh shock at ship got
home and say that a little bit of fear the.

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Robin Kibben core In the morning, it's Robin kiviin Corio.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
It's on Kiss ninety seven to three at seven point fifteen.
We've got cash or crash coming up for you after
eight o'clock this morning. It's worth one thousand dollars if
you can just answer three questions correctly, and we're going
to give you the first question about half hour from now.

Speaker 1 (14:17):
Okay, So I found this. It came through on my
social media and I immediately thought of Corey. Yeah, because
it was a supermarket in Finland where they have a
specific system which allows people to know if they're single.
Have have a listen to this.

Speaker 18 (14:37):
I'm in a grocery store in Finland right now and
I've never seen anything like this. Okay, they have these
pink basket and it's not special because they're peak. It's
because this quali is fasket single is single.

Speaker 6 (14:53):
So it's a single basket that if you would like
to find love at the grocery store, you can.

Speaker 18 (15:00):
You walk around with a pink basket and maybe that's
how you find her husband.

Speaker 6 (15:05):
So in Finland you don't have to, you know, go
out to the bar or the club to meet someone.

Speaker 18 (15:10):
You can just use a chink basket at the grocery store.

Speaker 9 (15:13):
Is that so funny?

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Oh my gosh, it's a Finland that's just so actually
have it.

Speaker 6 (15:17):
They actually have it.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
They identify that its supermarket shopping is a great place
to potentially meet a partner, and so they allow you,
based on your basket color to identify for your.

Speaker 3 (15:29):
Partner, identify as a single. And if you are married,
you got to grab.

Speaker 1 (15:32):
The green bus well exactly right, I mean, otherwise it
could be getting quite awkward for you.

Speaker 3 (15:36):
Now that's really trying to see if you've still got it.

Speaker 6 (15:40):
It's open to abuse, isn't it really is? Imagine pick
up the old pink basket.

Speaker 2 (15:44):
See our swinging for a bit.

Speaker 9 (15:45):
How many married men you can walk in there with
their wife, grab the pink basket and the wife goes,
what are you doing?

Speaker 3 (15:52):
Just saying if I still got it?

Speaker 1 (15:53):
Now, I don't think she'd be there.

Speaker 6 (15:57):
In the mid argument, you go and you empty your b.

Speaker 1 (16:05):
Because I do know Corey, that you met taking in
a supermarket.

Speaker 9 (16:09):
I did, yep, in the yogurt isle. Yeah, all the
oisls to go down. I went down the y.

Speaker 6 (16:15):
With Ash Grove, so talk us through it.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Did you look down the aisle? Did you spot Teagan first?
And then go? Okay, now I feel like some I
was just walking down.

Speaker 9 (16:24):
Yeah, I know, I looked just in case. I mean,
she's really look at something and see something.

Speaker 3 (16:30):
I always do that, and I always walk down probably
every ale anyway.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
Just to see if your stomach's talking to you.

Speaker 3 (16:35):
Yeah, and I just throw stuff in there that I
don't need.

Speaker 6 (16:37):
But shopping you would be like shopping with a lubber.

Speaker 3 (16:40):
Door a child and then taking pulls back out.

Speaker 9 (16:45):
Okay, but at the top, yeah, look, you know I
didn't need no pink basket. Teaking just gave me that
look and just went, you're a good looking rooster.

Speaker 3 (16:53):
You come.

Speaker 6 (16:54):
She did not look she did.

Speaker 5 (16:57):
Did she give you any look at all?

Speaker 3 (17:00):
Is absolutely from what she did.

Speaker 9 (17:02):
She did gave me a week and just said, come
on you big.

Speaker 2 (17:08):
She must have given you some type of There must
have been something.

Speaker 3 (17:11):
That gave you content, because no, there was no. It
was purely because she, like I say to people, she
let us my bun when when I went to a
she let us to my but I.

Speaker 9 (17:22):
Went to a Fox Primo at water at the water
park at dream World, and they do a yeah they do.

Speaker 3 (17:30):
It's a fun day for all the kids that.

Speaker 9 (17:32):
Did really well in school for the Arty program, and
Bronx used to be a part of that.

Speaker 3 (17:35):
So I went along to one and that's where I
first seen her, when she was working for a form
lettuce on your bun. I always say she let us
my bun.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
And then you saw that same person who put the
lettuce on your barn at the.

Speaker 3 (17:49):
And I wasn't looking.

Speaker 9 (17:52):
I'm not a shy person, no really, but I'm not
great in groups.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
But she was on her own. So I seen her
down the aisle and I went, my, don't need yogat,
but I wouldn't need to go talk to her.

Speaker 6 (18:02):
So what did you do? That's so good?

Speaker 4 (18:07):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (18:07):
And I would.

Speaker 9 (18:09):
She remembers everything I had in my basket at the time,
and I don't remember anything really.

Speaker 3 (18:13):
All I do remember is I had dog food and steak.
That was it. So you went, okay, just wasn't I didn't.
There's no need for meant to be down that yoga.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Can you just do me a favorite role play with me?
So you walk up to her and say, I just.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
Say hello, and I met you before.

Speaker 9 (18:32):
We met at the Fox at the Fogs at the
water park, and then we just started chatting do you
live around here?

Speaker 3 (18:39):
And yeah, we lived like each other. Well then we
just started talking change numbers.

Speaker 6 (18:46):
Yeah, numbers in the yogurt Island.

Speaker 9 (18:49):
I think she, I think she. I think it was
I talked her on Instagram.

Speaker 5 (18:54):
Okay, so I.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
Didn't ask for a number. I was too shy for that.

Speaker 9 (18:58):
So I just talked her and then found her on
Instagram and then and then started talking.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Just like heaps of her photos.

Speaker 9 (19:05):
Yeah, yeah, my pink basket required remember me from the.

Speaker 2 (19:15):
Bloke you put lettuce on his butt?

Speaker 3 (19:19):
I love saying that she hates.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Yeah, I can tell why it sounds gross. In the morning,
we've got Eleanie on the phone. Morning Aleanie, Good morning.

Speaker 16 (19:33):
How are you?

Speaker 6 (19:35):
Lenie? Tell us about Ailah.

Speaker 16 (19:38):
She is a beautiful and bright nine year old girl
with the most beautiful red hair that I have ever
seen in my own time.

Speaker 6 (19:45):
Oh, it'd be so jealous.

Speaker 16 (19:48):
Oh you should you should be. Everybody is. Everyone stops
her everywhere we go.

Speaker 6 (19:52):
Did she have some trouble at school?

Speaker 1 (19:54):
Because often kids who are striking and I'm guessing she's
got beautiful blue eyes and fair skin. It can often
be teased.

Speaker 16 (20:02):
She has definitely had her moments where some people can
be quite cruel. But the thing about Eiler is she's
probably one of the most resilient children that you probably
would ever meet. And she definitely stands up for herself,
but she also knows how to stand up for others.
So the difference between what's wrong and what's right.

Speaker 1 (20:22):
Yeah, how does how does that go for her at school?
Because again that can be really tough. She must be
so brave.

Speaker 12 (20:31):
She is pretty brave.

Speaker 16 (20:33):
She does have her challenges. She can be quite persistent
but also quite defiant. Must be the red hair trait.

Speaker 17 (20:44):
But she she.

Speaker 16 (20:46):
Has a beautiful group of friends and she's she she
gets on with it.

Speaker 9 (20:54):
Yeah, I think that that's a part of being being
really strong as a young girl.

Speaker 3 (21:02):
You know, red hair, blue eyes, fair skin.

Speaker 9 (21:03):
You know obviously you know she's getting picked on also,
but she's standing up for people, which is what you've said,
And I think I think that is really big in itself,
and I believe it helps because you know, when people
see that, like, it shows.

Speaker 3 (21:18):
How tough she is. I know she shouldn't be dealing
with what she has to do with as a nine
year old.

Speaker 9 (21:23):
Ever, because red hair, blue eyes, fair skin, I believe
that I'm picturing that and to me, that is a.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
Beautiful, gorgeous little girl.

Speaker 5 (21:31):
It really is, Elena.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
You sound you sound like you're quite emotional, like are
you very proud of her?

Speaker 16 (21:40):
Proud isn't probably enough to cover it? Isla is everything
that I ever hoped to have been at her age?

Speaker 1 (21:49):
Well, Eleni, it sounds like Ela, and she also has
a little brother, Is that right?

Speaker 5 (21:54):
Connor?

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Yes, we would love to be part of our superpower squad?

Speaker 16 (22:00):
How does that sound.

Speaker 11 (22:03):
Good?

Speaker 3 (22:03):
Sounds good? Are fifty one?

Speaker 6 (22:07):
Were finally hear from Dad?

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Just takes extreme awkward side make up, saying what Dad?

Speaker 7 (22:19):
If you like?

Speaker 16 (22:23):
Dad needs?

Speaker 3 (22:28):
Okay, Scotsman? Where are you? Where are you from?

Speaker 18 (22:30):
Dad?

Speaker 7 (22:33):
Well?

Speaker 3 (22:34):
There, we'll get there enough.

Speaker 6 (22:36):
Now I'm seeing where the red hair is going from?

Speaker 11 (22:40):
Hang on, hang on.

Speaker 16 (22:42):
No know the the red hair is actually everybody says
this it's from from Parish. Well, red hair is actually
a recessive gene. You both have, both parents have to
carry it. I'm actually I'm half Greek and half Scottish.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
Oh okay, Dad, Dad can ask is that a calm
mix which.

Speaker 13 (23:06):
Is like anado?

Speaker 7 (23:10):
Like a tornado and a.

Speaker 5 (23:14):
Robin Kith and couriotes in the morning.

Speaker 2 (23:17):
Halfway through the podcast. Yeah, so this is Christian Bale.
It's probably a good twenty years ago now. On the
on the set this, yeah, or that he got a lot.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
Oh no, if there was such a thing called being canceled,
what would have happened.

Speaker 2 (23:34):
Yeah, it was quiet for a couple of years after
this for Christian because he was He's one of those
actors that gets right into it and I guess he
was playing a pretty crazy person. So this is going
off at the the bloke walked walking across his scene.

Speaker 4 (23:55):
I want you off to concert, you prick, don't just
be sorry. Think for one and second that the are
you doing?

Speaker 5 (24:07):
Are you professional or not? Do I can walk around
and rip that?

Speaker 7 (24:11):
Now?

Speaker 5 (24:11):
Shut the fuck up, Bruce?

Speaker 7 (24:13):
Do I want? No?

Speaker 4 (24:15):
No, don't shut me up. Am I gonna walk around
and rip your lights down in the middle of a scene? Then?
Why the are you walking right through that?

Speaker 5 (24:25):
I like this in the background. What the fuck is
it with you?

Speaker 4 (24:29):
What don't you can understand? You got anything idea about Hey,
it's distracting having somebody walking up behind Bryce in the
middle of the fing scene. Give me a fing answer?
What don't you get about it?

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Whoa, I was looking at the light.

Speaker 5 (24:51):
Oh, good for you? And how was it?

Speaker 4 (24:55):
I hope it was good because it's useless now, isn't it. Okay,
take man, your amateur.

Speaker 5 (25:10):
Look, you have to do something.

Speaker 7 (25:11):
To say to this.

Speaker 6 (25:16):
It's pretty wow, it's pretty full.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
I've forgotten.

Speaker 6 (25:19):
Now how rough someone stop him?

Speaker 1 (25:22):
Like, come on, mate, you don't speak to people like that.

Speaker 3 (25:26):
Not ever.

Speaker 9 (25:27):
You understand like it would have been frustrated, depend but
you don't have to go that fuck you just humiliate him.
You can leave it at like the start, like what
the are you doing?

Speaker 1 (25:40):
And then go okay, I'm obviously really angry. I'm going
to take a few moments, leave me alone.

Speaker 9 (25:45):
Yeah, maybe that scenes, maybe that scene bothered him for
a few weeks, and.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Then that's I mean, and why you know it sucks
as well, And it's twenty years ago and it's still
floating around. It's still the first thing I think of
when I think of you, just that time that he
went off terminator.

Speaker 1 (26:01):
That is it's worth like four hundred and fifty million
dollars or something.

Speaker 3 (26:05):
That's an old time spray. I do like that da
da in the background.

Speaker 5 (26:12):
If you just left it at that.

Speaker 9 (26:14):
Hey, it's been a fire laugh And he said that
you laugh at.

Speaker 7 (26:19):
Good?

Speaker 6 (26:20):
Yeah, one hundred and twenty million dollars Christian.

Speaker 1 (26:23):
Yeah, it's doing the right way, behaving as appallingly as that.

Speaker 6 (26:26):
He'll be okay, Yeah, I think he'll be fine.

Speaker 9 (26:28):
I wonder how that bloke's done now. I wonder who's
ever checked the linsnse.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
I was looking you know what that could have been
me if I was you know what I mean, I
was looking at the lords.

Speaker 6 (26:39):
Yeah, speaker placement.

Speaker 3 (26:43):
Wasn't concentrating.

Speaker 2 (26:44):
I could have done that for sure.

Speaker 3 (26:47):
And is that lot more?

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Oh God for you Robin Kipp and Couriot in the
morning right now that there's a story which has come
out of this is from the Huffington Post. I love
was that Huffington Post generally quirky stories from us. Yeah,
and it's on the back of the Taylor Swift Travis

(27:11):
Kelce wedding. A thousand people invited.

Speaker 6 (27:15):
Madison Square Garden. Yeah, third of July.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
At a basketball stagium.

Speaker 1 (27:19):
So much for her normal but they absolutely transformed it
like it was all.

Speaker 6 (27:25):
I think it was in colors of peach and pink.
I probably need.

Speaker 3 (27:29):
You'll agree that it was a bit ul I no know.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
What I thought was interesting was that she made it
such a public event.

Speaker 6 (27:35):
I thought she'd goes slide off quietly.

Speaker 3 (27:38):
Made money out of it too.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
So there's a lady by the name Melissa Garanna Lee,
who's a writer, who and a husband, Garrett, well known
music producer in LA. They worked on Taylor's album Red.
You know, they had dinner with with Taylor and you
know a couple of times, and then they were like
what A thousand people got the invite to the wedding
and we never got the.

Speaker 9 (28:02):
Era had the Red album go that this is a
good imagine It was big like all the rest, and
then all of a sudden, Garrett's gone.

Speaker 2 (28:11):
Actually, actually I think I got a message, but I
thought it was spam, no way to which and they've
actually got They've actually posted the the to and fro
between Melissa and Garrett. Melissa what him? Yeah, I remember
I told you I've got a text from her manager,
but I didn't respond to it because it didn't sound
like him. No, it was probably an assistant.

Speaker 5 (28:36):
Oh so hang.

Speaker 2 (28:38):
On, let me get this straight, he writes, you mean
to tell me that we were invited but you didn't
click on the invite? Yes, yeah, I mean I just
thought someone was trying to hack my address book or something.
But it's Taylor Swift, I know. But you know, why
would you even want to go to that?

Speaker 3 (28:58):
He says, Yes, Garrett, that's it, you go. Stevie Nix
was supposed to play. Oh I would have gone for that.

Speaker 2 (29:05):
I'm really sorry, but you know what it was. It
would have been so hot, he writes. Joke, he is
backdracking and she's like, we didn't even r SVP.

Speaker 3 (29:16):
How rude are we? You know what he's doing.

Speaker 9 (29:20):
He's distracting while he's building a bomb bunker. He's trying
to build that bomb barker so he doesn't get hammered.

Speaker 4 (29:25):
Is just.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
But so I did get me thinking, though, what about
the times that you've missed an email or you haven't
I know, you don't check your.

Speaker 6 (29:34):
Sorry you too, that's your entire life?

Speaker 9 (29:37):
Yeah, with this right, the best thing is I don't
look at emails, and then I go, you know what,
what's the point in even reading it?

Speaker 3 (29:46):
Because then when they go, do you get me email? No,
I didn't read it.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
Okay, can just explain what happened this morning.

Speaker 1 (29:52):
We got a delivery of Hague chocolates into the studio yesterday,
and these two were going absolutely, no.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
That's so good.

Speaker 1 (29:59):
Did you see the three emails that were sent to
both of you inviting you to the opening in the
Queen Street mall?

Speaker 6 (30:08):
And you both boys are like, nah, no, it isn't
it the Cali. I think it's the color. Yeah, I
know you are, because because you're.

Speaker 9 (30:18):
Do you know what I did that morning actually before
I came in, just in case someone said, you get
the emails.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
Like over the holiday? Yeah, I quickly.

Speaker 9 (30:25):
Went onto the email and I selected all mark all
on read read, So you hundred and four emails.

Speaker 2 (30:32):
It was you just opened, So you opened without one
all of them.

Speaker 3 (30:35):
Okay, if it's important, you're going to ring me.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Is what I realized whenever you missed the email thirty
one six five thirty six five, Because I've got one
that and it hurt me bad. It was a lot
worse than missing out on fortunes.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Really, how bad as bad as missing taller swift sweating.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
It was worth thousands of dollars. I'll tell you about
it after this, but if you've got one, if you
missed the email, thirteen one A sixty.

Speaker 5 (30:58):
Five rather than keep in the morning.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
So we were just talking about this couple that were
friends and new Taylor Swift very well, and we're wondering
why they never got invited when a thousand people got
invited to her wedding. Turns out the husband just ignored
the email because he thought it was spam.

Speaker 1 (31:17):
And got a text message also from her management going hey,
check the email.

Speaker 6 (31:22):
He goes, yeah, that doesn't sound like you.

Speaker 5 (31:23):
That sounds susy nice.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
So they missed it.

Speaker 6 (31:26):
Had a Whiteman thing to do it.

Speaker 2 (31:28):
It really is so years ago when I was working
at I was at Nova in Sydney, so it was
my first sort of big gig. I was doing the
afternoon show there and my mate Rabbit was doing the
night show. And one day Rabbit just rocked up with
this awesome brand new Toyota convertible, the Mr two I
think it was, and I got how good's that?

Speaker 3 (31:49):
That's beautiful?

Speaker 2 (31:49):
Just going yeah, just got a just got a deal,
just got to deal with Toyota. They give me this
car and I'll trade in. And he goes, if I
want to go for a drive and they give me
a Prato.

Speaker 6 (31:58):
But that's that's awesome, And I'm thinking of myself, now.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
How come I was rating, like, really, well, how come
I didn't get that deal? Right?

Speaker 3 (32:06):
And then and.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
He goes yeah and goes, actually, it's weird that you
mentioned this because they said they tried to contact you
for months and you never answered any of their emads,
and so they came to me and I went back.

Speaker 3 (32:21):
Then I went back and I checked my.

Speaker 6 (32:22):
Email and they're like, hey, seriously, we just want to
give you a car.

Speaker 5 (32:25):
All you've got to do is come in.

Speaker 2 (32:27):
And I didn't answer any of And he had that
deal for years.

Speaker 3 (32:32):
Oh my goodness, you could have had that. I'd have
had it.

Speaker 6 (32:36):
And I said I did try.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
I tried to. I was like like a desperate X.

Speaker 6 (32:39):
I tried to go, I can change.

Speaker 3 (32:41):
I wrote them. I was like, hey, god, I'm at today.

Speaker 6 (32:45):
Ignore you.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
They were like, yeah, like, mate, we've only got room
in the budget for one and it's gone.

Speaker 3 (32:50):
Now.

Speaker 1 (32:53):
Is that if they were doing it for publicity, you
possibly were not the guy?

Speaker 2 (33:00):
Yeah, because then you would forget that's true, I would
forget to post them in things.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
And the car.

Speaker 9 (33:06):
Yeah, I feel like I would have things I told
as a young kid, the one people that will last last,
that will stay forever if you treat right and do
the right thing by its a car deal, Yes.

Speaker 6 (33:19):
I had for ten years.

Speaker 3 (33:22):
Yeah, the last long time is really good? Is it exactly?

Speaker 5 (33:32):
Robin Kith and CoreOS in the morning.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Now, this came up on my feed and you've probably
seen him. Is a guy who calls himself a big
red Ben Night. He's a teacher and a comedian and
he does this stuff a lot.

Speaker 13 (33:46):
School report cards. I'm here on behalf of teachers to
help you decipher what we're actually trying to say. And
if you have to sit in there and thinking it's fine,
I can read it. What we write what we mean
are two completely different things.

Speaker 3 (33:56):
I love this dude as soon as I heard his voice.

Speaker 1 (34:00):
All Right, so let's have a listen from a teacher's
perspective what they actually mean when they say certain phrases.

Speaker 13 (34:08):
If you see spirited, your kids a bit of a psycho.
He distracted and he's got the impulse control of a
golden retriever. At a barbecue, A vivid imagination. Your kids
are space cadet. If you see extremely inquisitive, nosy, little sticky, beat,
confident and assertive, they're an absolute no at all Here.
Relationships are developing. Nigel no friends, a real character. Lovabook

(34:29):
cat enjoys movement breaks, he's a runner. We've had to
put dead bolts on all the windows and all the doors.
Working on their resilience. Little Suki Laala still learning boundaries
or learning to respect other people's personal space. That means
they touch everything.

Speaker 1 (34:45):
So this's my question because we are doing next Monday
at every fifty one where we're going to help kids
who are not having a good time at school.

Speaker 6 (34:53):
Yes, I think a lot of the problem.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
Is that we actually don't call stuff for what is
actually going on.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Yeah, it's easier to fix a problem if you know
that it's a problem.

Speaker 1 (35:03):
Right, So you know, we've been talking to all these
kids and their parents and these there are bullies in
the classrooms, and no one is actually pointing a finger.

Speaker 14 (35:12):
And saying your kids bully is a bully because people
don't want to hear it.

Speaker 1 (35:16):
They can't because the teacher is being forced to make
up phrases around you know, you know you can't. What
would you say for bully?

Speaker 2 (35:27):
Your child is very shows great authority.

Speaker 3 (35:33):
Children, your child bosses everyone around?

Speaker 6 (35:36):
No, but see, they wouldn't even say that your child.

Speaker 2 (35:39):
Is asserted, assertive, assertive?

Speaker 3 (35:41):
No, I just think be honest, right.

Speaker 6 (35:44):
So okay it okay you say that.

Speaker 1 (35:47):
But let's put Monty seven and Raffi who's seven next week,
and you've got a report card that said some of
those things.

Speaker 2 (35:56):
How would you go that said said those things true?

Speaker 6 (36:00):
Truthful?

Speaker 3 (36:02):
I'm asking the teacher what was she doing and why
and how is she doing it?

Speaker 7 (36:05):
To it?

Speaker 9 (36:07):
This is the way I would I would say to her,
you don't do that, because if they're doing that to you,
would you like it? I never want my kids to
do this ever, ever, be a bully.

Speaker 2 (36:18):
What about Okay, let's take the bullying example, and let's
say that they tell you something else about Monty that
you may not have known, but that that your kid
is a suki la. Yeah, your kid's are sulk, he
cries about.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
Nothing, toughing them up, taking the boxing.

Speaker 6 (36:31):
Would you though?

Speaker 1 (36:33):
See, this is the thing and I think we kind
of we want we want it to be fair for
our kids in the playground.

Speaker 6 (36:39):
But sometimes I don't think we actually want the truth.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
I think suki lala.

Speaker 9 (36:43):
You could be like, they give in easy, and when
it gets too hard, they just give up. They give up,
and then you can go and say what do you
mean by that? And then you can be like, well,
this is what they're doing. Whereas a bully, you can't
really beat around the bush with it, but you can.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
But you shouldn't.

Speaker 9 (36:57):
But they because they're scared, and they're not allowed to
because the moms and the parents were then.

Speaker 3 (37:02):
That that report the school that'd blow up, and they
don't want to deal with it.

Speaker 5 (37:05):
This is the school, right, I know that.

Speaker 1 (37:06):
But this is the problem that teachers would face all
the time, is that it's then becomes if you've got
a report card that said home saying your kids are
suky la la, or is that you know, Like, I don't.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
Think a parent would cope with that at all.

Speaker 2 (37:20):
It's got to be a flowery version of the truth, right,
So therefore, then what happens in the playground when a
kid is not doing the right thing and we're doing
a flowery version of disciplining them.

Speaker 9 (37:30):
Yeah, well you can say your kid is making others
your kid's making other kids lives hard in this school.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
I think I would appreciate a more truth because I'm like,
I'm painfully aware that, like you know, of some the
potential ADHD issues and stuff like that. So I think
the more you know, the more you can do about it, right,
rather than just going, oh, he's.

Speaker 1 (37:53):
Spirited, okay, thirteen six five, and I know it's off.
It is drop off time now, so I'd love to
hear from I think we probably won't have any teachers listening,
but I'd love to hear from parents. Do you really
want an honest report card about your child?

Speaker 5 (38:17):
Robin Kip and Coyotes in the morning.

Speaker 12 (38:20):
With Jennifers and Gary East, Yeah, I do. Be honest
with me, like, if my kid's been a dick, tell
me my kid's been a dick. He's got a SD
And how am I supposed to spot the school for
her if they don't communicate as me, it takes so
much energy to get her into Allied house and get
her to and from those appointments and communicate with everybody.

Speaker 6 (38:42):
Yes, but yet you have a.

Speaker 12 (38:43):
School who wants to tell you your kids spirited? Your kids,
you know, and they're still growing friendship. No, she's she's dominating,
she's to be nasty, she's a psych at path and
she doesn't sit down.

Speaker 7 (38:55):
Do I work like the Talent.

Speaker 15 (39:01):
Ring?

Speaker 3 (39:02):
What was your want?

Speaker 14 (39:04):
Hey?

Speaker 15 (39:04):
Yeah, So I'm one hundred percent agree with the last
caller as well. I've got an asc adhd is at home,
and i just want the teachers to be one hundred
one hundred percent truthful, you know, tell us, tell us
what's going on if exactly exactly that, if if we're
going to all these appointments trying to support the school,

(39:24):
trying to support our kids, and just those little bits
of information are super helpful to get them to be
where they need to be in life to have a
great life. Obviously, we look at at the report cards
exactly what he just said, the comedian was saying. Are
they being awesome kids?

Speaker 7 (39:45):
You know?

Speaker 15 (39:45):
Do they do they their effort and everything like that.
That's what we look at. But we want the truth.
We want to know what's going on to help support
the kids.

Speaker 1 (39:55):
Well there's a reason why they're not. And our next
caller is an anonymous teacher from Jim Boom. But thank
you so much for calling, because I didn't think we'd
get any teachers at this time.

Speaker 6 (40:05):
But there must be a reason why you sugarcoat.

Speaker 19 (40:09):
Sugar teachers would love to tell there it's the truth.
I answered by having stuff and no one wanted a
applications down the track.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
Wow, do you reckon it work? Because Robin had this
idea off air, like an opt in system, like you
can say, listen, I want the truth as a parent,
I please don't sugarcoat it. Just give me the truth
if you could opt in for it.

Speaker 19 (40:35):
I think that if that communications not build it down
to where it eats.

Speaker 6 (40:44):
The Okay, I know your phone's lines with the dad,
but thank you so much.

Speaker 9 (40:50):
Look, if I want to say it, like you know
I was adhd kid and my report cards are pretty honest.

Speaker 6 (40:57):
Yeah, but that's a different time.

Speaker 9 (40:59):
But and the reason why it helps, and this is
exactly what they're all saying, like if you know your
kids struggling and they've got, you know, learning issues and difficulties,
you want to know how where mine was never sit? Still,
doesn't chat up bothers, others, looks at everyone's work. I'll
put him at the front. Still doesn't chat up, still

(41:20):
talk to everyone, turns around like if I'm being honest,
and then you go and and you explain to the
to the person the doctor trying to help you, this
is what's going on, Like, how can we try because.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
Those cards end up going in front of a pediautrition
or whatever else and trying to get to you.

Speaker 6 (41:38):
Is this right a bully could potentially have on their
report card? Is dominant?

Speaker 3 (41:43):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (41:46):
Would you say would they go as far as to
say aggressive?

Speaker 19 (41:48):
Problem?

Speaker 6 (41:49):
They probably wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (41:50):
So if you read a proper of your child going
is a dominant personality?

Speaker 6 (41:55):
Is assertive?

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Assertive?

Speaker 1 (41:57):
Are you going to make the leap to potentially being
a bully. Now that's not to say that all dominanta
suit of kids are bullying, but if we're not actually
saying I bet you were, a report card hasn't said
for at least ten years that kid's a bully for
showing bullying.

Speaker 9 (42:11):
Baby, if your kids getting bullied, right, yeah, and they
don't say it on the report card?

Speaker 3 (42:15):
Well, why she struggling?

Speaker 9 (42:17):
She's really good at home, does great work, but at
school she doesn't and she's scared. But why Okay, she's
getting bullied for being this smart? Because she puts her
hand up and answers questions all this and that like.

Speaker 1 (42:31):
Flower But if you want your kid, if you're listening
and your kid is having some problems at school, we've
got an amazing night happening next Monday night at Area
fifty one and we're putting together our superpower Squad, so
please register.

Speaker 6 (42:46):
We'd love to see your kid there.

Speaker 5 (42:47):
Robin in the morning.

Speaker 2 (42:50):
So Queensland may have recorded its first about of the
H five N one bird flu case.

Speaker 3 (42:56):
What a name. Yeah, that's a big name for a
bird rolls the dung, doesn't it.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
So it seems to happen around this time every year
that there's a new strain of bird flu. But a
sick seabird has been taken care of on the Sunshine
Coast right now, and there's a couple of people who
are looking after this seabird who you would recognize if
you've ever seen TV, like one of the I think
they're on today this morning or sometimes they've become fairly
viral on Instagram because they're twins.

Speaker 6 (43:23):
Yeah, they're the twinies, the twinnies.

Speaker 1 (43:25):
And they look after amazing birds up on the Sunny
Coast and we've got them online with us.

Speaker 6 (43:30):
Hello Bridget and.

Speaker 1 (43:31):
Paula good morning, Hell, tell us how is that sick bird?

Speaker 6 (43:37):
Where did you find it?

Speaker 7 (43:39):
Well? Actually, wildlife news in the rescue and then he
got swanned, she did, And then and he got delivered
in a carnival box to our center.

Speaker 6 (43:52):
And what kind of bird is it?

Speaker 7 (43:54):
He's a nold and giant petrol.

Speaker 6 (43:57):
Can you describe how big the petrol?

Speaker 7 (44:00):
He's quite a large bird and the wingspan is absolutely amazing.

Speaker 1 (44:06):
Yeah, and so how are you taking care of him?
Because isn't it dangerous with bird flu?

Speaker 7 (44:12):
Yeah? He is, but we've got to make shift, like
like we have got a little room that what we are,
it's steamed in to make it bigger. So he's in
a quarantine room at the moment. She's away from our
other birds, and we have to gown up and make
sure that everything in his face.

Speaker 1 (44:35):
So does one of you look after the sick bird
and the other one look after the other birds?

Speaker 16 (44:40):
No?

Speaker 7 (44:40):
No, actually we go in the room together because there's
a lot of involved.

Speaker 3 (44:47):
So how dangerous can this bird flu be for humans?

Speaker 7 (44:52):
I don't think it is as bad as hod right?

Speaker 3 (44:55):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (44:56):
And what were the science? How do you know that
this bird has bird flu?

Speaker 7 (44:59):
In Western Australia, like they're falling over. They're very weak,
puffed up, head wobbles and eyes half closed. And this
peture what we've got? She was showing on the mind
of the we witness and I couldn't stand up. But
the only thing he or she hasn't got was the

(45:22):
head wobbles.

Speaker 3 (45:24):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (45:24):
And where do you reckon this giant? Where does this
giant petrol come from? Where's it been flying from?

Speaker 7 (45:28):
They all fly from the ANTARTI right.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
Oh wow, that's a long flight when you got the flu,
isn't it?

Speaker 7 (45:37):
Just like we have got another one in care? And
she she came back negative.

Speaker 9 (45:42):
Okay, from from the obviously not from the same joint one,
maybe from another part of the ice.

Speaker 6 (45:48):
Well what would what would these birds do without it?

Speaker 7 (45:53):
I know we wondered that.

Speaker 6 (45:56):
I bet you do.

Speaker 7 (45:57):
And so yeah, we've been doing this for twenty five what's.

Speaker 3 (46:00):
The Bridget and Paula story?

Speaker 2 (46:02):
Guys like, are either of you in a relationship? What's happening?

Speaker 7 (46:06):
No? No, no relations We give all our love to
the world.

Speaker 1 (46:12):
Single would would you ever date without the other?

Speaker 3 (46:18):
One?

Speaker 7 (46:20):
We want into that one.

Speaker 2 (46:25):
What happens if we were to find a couple of
twins in Britain that we're interested in dating twins.

Speaker 3 (46:29):
Can we make it work?

Speaker 7 (46:31):
No, I haven't got feathers.

Speaker 14 (46:37):
Feathers some of our most favorite people and we do
the most amazing things.

Speaker 6 (46:46):
How can people help your bird sanctuary?

Speaker 7 (46:49):
They can donate to us and if anyone's got any
like seeps and towels with no hold or okay.

Speaker 2 (46:58):
Okay, thousand sheets.

Speaker 6 (47:01):
And where do we send it to girls.

Speaker 7 (47:05):
