Speaker 1 (00:06):
Robin Kid and Choreotes podcast, Great Great Good Day Monday.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
It's Robin Kip Band Choreot's on demand the podcast. We
didn't really talk about it much on the show. Very
early we spoke about the Broncos saying playing the Dolphins.
But you've got an interesting stat for halftime, Corey.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
It's one that will scare a lot of people.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
Do it halfway through, Okay.

Speaker 5 (00:32):
Robin Kip and Coriots in the morning.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
We're in the week of public holidays, so the holidays Wednesday?

Speaker 4 (00:38):
Is it Redcliffe Today? I think it's Redcliffe kicks off.

Speaker 6 (00:42):
That's great Greater Brisbane. So it's Logan Redlands and Martin
bat A.

Speaker 3 (00:49):
Dolphins.

Speaker 6 (00:50):
I would say good half of our listeners have the
day off because half of our listeners live across Greater Brisbane.

Speaker 3 (00:55):
You know, we had the argument last week.

Speaker 6 (00:56):
I wouldn't call it an argument, but yeah, you got.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
House sitting rabbits. You know they can be called Greater
Greater Brisbane Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (01:06):
I didn't pick the name.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Greater bris has been a contention over the last few
days and obviously if you could just see Alana's eyebrows
right now, you know it's still a bone of contention.

Speaker 4 (01:16):
I'm not one shoes. She's not going to stand down
on it.

Speaker 6 (01:20):
Fair you know what, because it gives when we have
this conversation about whether or not Redcliffe is like part
of Greater Brisbane from a Bronco like an X Bronco
like Corey. It's the energy where like an older brother
has a new baby in the family and I.

Speaker 4 (01:33):
Like, no, I'm not giving them my toys.

Speaker 3 (01:35):
Then no, I'm still I'm still the baby boys.

Speaker 4 (01:41):
To the Dolphins.

Speaker 7 (01:42):
No, no, no, no, called Redcliffe Dolphins.

Speaker 3 (01:46):
So it just fits.

Speaker 2 (01:47):
You know, are we going to talk about the Broncos
Dolphins on Saturday at some stage day?

Speaker 3 (01:51):
Can you break down what the hell happened?

Speaker 8 (01:53):
Are?

Speaker 4 (01:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:54):
Yeah, saying did you watch it?

Speaker 4 (01:55):
But what the hell happens?

Speaker 3 (01:56):
You watch it? Yeah? That's enough.

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Defense was crap. Their attack was excellent. That's enough. You
could say that about both teams, though Dolphins were not
great in the beginning.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
I mean, if they're going to be a chance at
the finals and they let the team that's coming sixteenth
on the ladder score thirty points on.

Speaker 3 (02:14):
You're learning something from the shit. Yes, maybe Tom Hammer
is a very good player.

Speaker 2 (02:20):
Yeah, he's the worst player in the world to drop
the ball in front of.

Speaker 4 (02:26):
That's problemable and the hammer's there, it's.

Speaker 7 (02:28):
Over and it's done.

Speaker 3 (02:34):
It is done.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Now something that might be done.

Speaker 2 (02:37):
We mentioned this last week is Mishard Mondays because we
get your misheard lyrics of a Monday morning and we've
had some excellent ones over the last couple of months,
but it's running thin and we think it might be
time to just you know, done well to make it
this lock.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Yeah, it might be.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
Time to go out the pasture. So if you've got one,
this is the chance. This will be the final week
for Misshard Monday. So if you've got a song lyric
you want to tell us about, get on the phone today.
Thirteen one oh sixty five, final final round of Misheard Mondays.

Speaker 7 (03:03):
It's like it's like Johnny Farnham's final tour. Yeah, this
is the second one, the second time.

Speaker 4 (03:10):
We're doing it.

Speaker 2 (03:11):
Never seem to retire for the second time, we're doing
it for the last time last.

Speaker 5 (03:17):
Robin Kith and Corey Oats in the Morning Sun.

Speaker 2 (03:30):
Just while we're getting these callers lined up, we should
tell you as well, we've got a brand new competition
which we're kicking off after six thirty. We can score
one thousand dollars to spend at Temple and Webster. And
you don't go in the drawer for that. Someone is
going to win that this morning. Oh sorry, Rob over there,
tell me.

Speaker 4 (03:51):
What you really do actually saying it?

Speaker 1 (03:54):
You can squeezelf. Yeah, you just got it. It's daycore, okie.
So we've matched a song to something from the Temple
and Webster online like store. Yeah, that kind of match,
and then you just have to We'll play you the
song that is similar to the decor and if you
can do the next.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Line, you'll But and you don't. It's not about being
the best singer. You just got to get the words right, okay,
And we will give you extra points for passion if
you just give it a red go that's what I
really need to miss.

Speaker 3 (04:23):
One word, but you really go full you know, full throttle.

Speaker 2 (04:26):
Yeah, we'll give it to absolutely. I'm that h So
that's coming up in about twenty minutes.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
Me again. Adam moray Field. You've got to miss herd lyric.
What is it I have?

Speaker 9 (04:36):
It's I don't know how it started. I was listening
to it one day at work and I just said
to the girls, why would she be texting the Taliban?
And which the lady gaga, Yeah, it's the Dead Dance.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Yeah, to me, she keeps texting the Taliban. Okay, so.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
Right, you're right, it's a good question.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
Why would you Oh, that's great.

Speaker 4 (05:19):
Shell out of thorn Lands? Which song? Is it?

Speaker 2 (05:23):
Blinded by the Light?

Speaker 3 (05:25):
Okay? Oh?

Speaker 4 (05:25):
Yeah, like Manfred Man, what are you hearing?

Speaker 10 (05:30):
Yeah, it goes on to say, wraps up like a
deuce another mona in the night.

Speaker 11 (05:34):
Yes, and that's it's not what they say. I thought
they always did, but they don't.

Speaker 4 (05:39):
What are you hearing? What do you so? What do
you think? What do you think they're saying? What are
they saying?

Speaker 12 (05:44):
I think that I've seen wrapped up like a deuce
another mona in the night?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Yeah, and what are they saying like it?

Speaker 11 (05:50):
And my husband started laughing at me, and I'm like,
but that's the word, and.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
He's like, no, it's not, it's not. Is it reped
up like a douce hanger? Let's have a listen.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Now, I, for some reason, years ago, someone has told
me that is it wrapped.

Speaker 4 (06:10):
Up like a do a douche?

Speaker 2 (06:12):
That is?

Speaker 3 (06:15):
Does any anyone knows anyone know what it actually is?

Speaker 11 (06:18):
No idea is there?

Speaker 3 (06:19):
Is?

Speaker 12 (06:19):
There?

Speaker 4 (06:20):
Is it? Is it a douche like you know you
hear about a doucheback?

Speaker 3 (06:24):
Is it?

Speaker 4 (06:26):
I thought it was a douchez? What is repped up
like a douce?

Speaker 3 (06:30):
Another runner in the night, which also makes no sense?

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Thank you, Alona, Sorry it's not Alna, Thank you?

Speaker 2 (06:38):
Like a reped up like a douce, A douce, like
a number two a douce?

Speaker 4 (06:44):
What is meaning repped up like a douce?

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Hang On googled is a famous song Blinded by the
Lights written by Bruce Springsteen, famously covered by Man from Man.
Douce refers to the classic nineteen thirty two Ford hot
Rod Happily the douce coupe and revved up means the
car's engine is accelerating rapidly, creating an image of high speed,

(07:06):
youthful energy, and restless movement of the night.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
Now that's the Beach Boys song, My little deuce, Coop
the deuce.

Speaker 3 (07:14):
That's what a do is?

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Okay?

Speaker 13 (07:17):
Do it?

Speaker 7 (07:17):
Changes are not miss heard? Do you don't understand what
the song actually means? Like you've been singing a song
for eight isn't it could be talking about something completely.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
A couple of those I have spent my whole I
think it has wrapped up like a douche.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
I thought it was now that douce can be wrapped up.

Speaker 4 (07:36):
Producer Drew's got one?

Speaker 3 (07:38):
What do you got?

Speaker 14 (07:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 15 (07:39):
So nothing but the nineties from nine o'clock today got
me thinking about smells like teen Spirit Nirvana. So what
I've been hearing here? We are now in containers. I'm
a rhino, I'm a vinyl, a mosquito.

Speaker 3 (07:51):
Have a listen, right, I'm a vital What is always saying?

Speaker 4 (08:07):
I thought it was a mosquito and a beatle.

Speaker 2 (08:13):
It shows you there are certain songs where it just
doesn't matter.

Speaker 4 (08:16):
No, you're just making it.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
I don't reckon they knew what they were saying.

Speaker 2 (08:22):
Yeah, getting wrapped up in containers is very neat and
tidy for a grunge band.

Speaker 5 (08:27):
Robin Kith and coreotes in the morning.

Speaker 1 (08:30):
With our pop quiz coming up. We've got ninety questions,
Like you know if you know ninety questions, Yeah, nineties nineties,
you'll never make it.

Speaker 4 (08:41):
Yes, you'll never make it. Had a really.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
Cool opportunity to come join us yes, on Thursday lunch
to do a very nineties thing.

Speaker 2 (08:51):
Indeed, yes, so that is that is all on the way.
But there's something that's been it's been firing up the team.
It's dividing the team, and it's dividing the team.

Speaker 4 (08:59):
I don't know how this.

Speaker 2 (09:00):
Started because the Alana and news reader as you've aligned
yourself now with the Dolphins, you're a fins fins up.

Speaker 6 (09:09):
Yes, And it started because Corey was takes issue with
the NRL's phrase battle for Brisbane because he says that
Redcliffe isn't Brisbane. He didn't say the red Cliff Dolphins
should be the great. He said Redcliffe isn't Brisbane. And
as someone who's grown up in Brisbane and I've lived
most of my life in lutt which which is central

(09:29):
central Brisbane, I've always considered Redcliffe Brisbane.

Speaker 4 (09:33):
I just just go into that for the Morton Bayers.

Speaker 2 (09:36):
Well, what's interesting about the Dolphins is the Dolphins came
out and didn't call themselves even though the feeder club
which has been there forever is the red Cliffe Dolphins,
they haven't called themselves the Redcliffe Dolphins.

Speaker 7 (09:45):
They're just the Dolphins, and junior kids go from the
red Cliffe Dolphins to the Dolphins, which so they sort
of makes sense.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
They took the name out of it and therefore they
would be greater Brisbane. It's just Brisbane, feb I don't
defend that. I don't know you know how that said.
It's because they didn't want they wanted people outside of Redcliffe.

Speaker 4 (10:04):
I also feel like they had a team.

Speaker 3 (10:05):
But they've been around for fifty years, right, Redcliffe Dolphins.

Speaker 7 (10:08):
So the Dolphins only three years old, so their brand
new franchise, so they'd been they've been made up, you know,
they haven't been around forever now if they're changing the name,
but just the Dolphins. But the problem is history should
be gone.

Speaker 4 (10:21):
We are a Broncos town.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
Traditionally they don't make it the Brisbane I mean sorry,
the Brisbane Dolphins. But if they don't, they won't get
the numbers they need to make.

Speaker 2 (10:35):
To make them famous own Brisbane Cory and they also
want like the Sunshine Coast and.

Speaker 3 (10:42):
Other places like that Sunshine Coast.

Speaker 6 (10:45):
Red Cliffe think they were going anywhere between Brisbane and
North Queensland, right, They're like, we're in the middles.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (10:52):
Well, the sad thing is that when they beat the
Broncos on the weekend. Is that they then go down
to the sheds for the song.

Speaker 3 (10:59):
Yeah, what's in the song?

Speaker 4 (11:09):
We are the dolphins from Reddie? Who are who are we?
We are the dolphins from Reddy.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
So you can't say that you're not the red Cliffe
Dolphins if you then go on to seeing we are
the dolphins from Ready.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
Like and ready for those people, it's short for Redcliff.

Speaker 6 (11:27):
I don't just say I don't know if this is
as strong as you think, because my argument is that
Redcliffe is bridge.

Speaker 7 (11:36):
It's not those like Redcliffe Dolphins Brisbane Broncos.

Speaker 3 (11:44):
We own the big one.

Speaker 12 (11:45):
I'll say it's not that deep. It's like the water.
It's like the water under the Horny Book Bridge. It's
pretty shallow. Robin Kif and Coriot.

Speaker 5 (11:58):
In the morning.

Speaker 2 (12:00):
You've had a special Cory weekend. Yes, yeah, just you're
just really upped the Bogan level, the new level.

Speaker 8 (12:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Well, I got invited this weekend through a mate and
it just to me. It reminded me of where I.

Speaker 7 (12:14):
Grow up, maybe even past that, like you, it went
past boganness.

Speaker 1 (12:20):
We did one thing that I like that is the
greatest cashed up Bogan thing anyone could ever do, and
the fact that it required so much organization, you were
embracing your inner Bogan.

Speaker 2 (12:32):
Yeah, it was cool, and we want to we want
to talk to you about the time that you've done exactly.
That's thirteen one o sixty fives out number. We'll get
Corey's story, though.

Speaker 7 (12:40):
I just want to see is it is that up
there with the most Bogan things you can do?

Speaker 4 (12:44):
I think are there more?

Speaker 5 (12:47):
I think it might be Robin Kid in the morning.

Speaker 2 (12:51):
Cory, you were excited on on the weekend because you
had a was it a boys trip?

Speaker 3 (12:54):
What was it? Well? Just the boys weekend, boys weekend,
boys weekend boys.

Speaker 7 (12:59):
Well it turned on. I finally went for the night.
I just had too much sport on. I really couldn't
do that tagain. But like Base Daly for the for
two nights, most of the people that go, there's about
thirty blokes.

Speaker 3 (13:10):
How I worked out, Oh my goodness.

Speaker 7 (13:13):
Honestly I just got invited. Yeah, just just through the
guy that runs it, not just through the guy that started.

Speaker 3 (13:20):
It's is pretty necessary night.

Speaker 7 (13:22):
Like this is just outside mates that I've met in
the last twelve months.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Like business people.

Speaker 7 (13:29):
Just yeah, just through friends so Matt Gillett, some friends
okay and then yeah just through that so it was
pretty good to get invited.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
So you were you and Jill are the only Broncos
there ex Broncos yep, yeah, okay.

Speaker 7 (13:40):
Yeah, so yeah it was just yeah, nothing do with
rugby league?

Speaker 3 (13:45):
Was it at ne Somerset and the damn oh wow?

Speaker 14 (13:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (13:49):
Beautiful and like yeah it was probably one hundred or
so acres maybe bit more, but on the amount it was.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Just great camping.

Speaker 3 (13:57):
Were you in a swag?

Speaker 5 (14:00):
Wow?

Speaker 10 (14:00):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (14:00):
So we'd been there before, but yeah, just for it
was a birthday, so there were girls there and stuff,
so you can't really have the full experience when you
when everyone's there.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
I feel last time you went there there was people
for partners and reason.

Speaker 7 (14:15):
Is because I feel like I don't think girls enjoy
this as much.

Speaker 4 (14:19):
And Bogan things.

Speaker 7 (14:22):
You explain what it is and you tell me why
what you think Rob And so I've rocked out. I
had no idea what to expect. I honestly had no idea.
I was last day I had to go to a
Bronx line before it. So I rocked up about four
o'clock and and as I get there, there was bang
bang bang.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Like shot like guns. People are shooting things. It's a
pretty bag and start yeh yeah Clay the clay pigeons.

Speaker 3 (14:47):
Yeah that was bang.

Speaker 7 (14:48):
That was just on repeat, like you know, motorbikes coming
out of the trees.

Speaker 4 (14:56):
This is like that show East Bounded Down with Kenny Powers.

Speaker 2 (15:01):
Kenny Powers, Are you on jets?

Speaker 3 (15:05):
There is a Yeah, there's a ski.

Speaker 7 (15:07):
Boat and you know what is it? Wakeboarding and all
that sort of stuff. There's all that man down.

Speaker 4 (15:13):
Okay, what music's playing?

Speaker 3 (15:15):
Country?

Speaker 8 (15:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (15:16):
There you go in country here yeah.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
And pre nineties yeah, pre nineties country.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Yeah, all of it old skilled country.

Speaker 7 (15:26):
But then there's there's like these old motorbikes done up
just like smoking, so you just burn the rubber.

Speaker 3 (15:35):
I get a bit of smoke going two wheelies work.

Speaker 7 (15:39):
And then then then it gets to this part where
this was I think, I love this was a new edition. Well,
I believe it was the bloke that owns the place
and organized it all. He bought I think ten second
hand lawn misles all the decks off them. But right on,
right on Mars second and ten secondhand, right on and

(16:00):
do what I think I did a bit of racing.

Speaker 4 (16:04):
Dad's cashed up and.

Speaker 3 (16:08):
Oh my godess so that was awesome.

Speaker 4 (16:10):
You had racing on the spit. I can't. I mean,
you don't. Look, you don't have to beat it. You
don't have to have a more bogan weekend than that.

Speaker 2 (16:20):
But what is the most Bogan event or Bogan moment
you've ever had? Thirteen one o six five.

Speaker 4 (16:25):
We made a new name for it.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
You're a Bogan redneck, a Bogan redneck, so it's beyond
bogan because.

Speaker 4 (16:31):
You're also like dream of being an American Bogus.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
We've got dag with dog guy pack berbets, which I
feel like should be what a Bogan, a proud Bogan
would enjoy.

Speaker 3 (16:42):
Absolutely yeah.

Speaker 7 (16:43):
But for breakfast, I have one lost on the weekend
that I'm going to get out straight away when we
come back.

Speaker 3 (16:50):
Okay, it's got to come. It's got a band off,
get rid of it.

Speaker 4 (16:53):
Okay, and tell us about that, get that.

Speaker 2 (16:55):
Confession off your jail, But tell us about the most
Bogan thing you've done.

Speaker 5 (16:59):
Robin and choreotes in the morning.

Speaker 2 (17:01):
The pop quiz is coming up thousand bucks if you
can answer ten questions correctly nineties themed questions. Actually this
is something that we were talking about just the other
day on the show, the round disc that was found
in chip packets and collected by children.

Speaker 4 (17:16):
What were they.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
Called, ah tastes So yeah, Tar, So that's that's question nine.

Speaker 4 (17:25):
When we play in ten.

Speaker 7 (17:26):
Minutes igon number six, I don't think not many people
would get which golfing legend announces turning He was turning
pro in nineteen ninety six with the phrase hello world,
Hello world.

Speaker 3 (17:38):
Greatest golfer in the world.

Speaker 7 (17:39):
Really Woods, Ah, hello world, Hello world.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
So what he said?

Speaker 7 (17:44):
Yeah, okay, well we won and it was It surprised
a lot of people.

Speaker 4 (17:48):
It's a weird week in Brisbane.

Speaker 2 (17:50):
Obviously, there's a lot of people with public holidays today
like Logan or all got public holiday we know, yeah,
Redlands and then a lot of different places will have
Wednesday off for the ECHA.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
Yeah, Morton bezof today too.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
We're here every day this week. We're pressing on.

Speaker 3 (18:05):
He decided to do that.

Speaker 4 (18:07):
It seemed like a good idea at the time.

Speaker 2 (18:10):
But Thursdays, but on Thursday we're doing something very nineties
because every day after nine o'clock we go nothing but nineties,
and on Thursday we are really embracing the nineties.

Speaker 3 (18:22):
We're going to Pizza Hut all you can eat and
you can come with us.

Speaker 8 (18:26):
Wow.

Speaker 4 (18:26):
So all the details on how you can do that
is going on. I think there's one left and we'll
be sitting there going stop bringing out the cheese pizzas.
Where's the good stuff?

Speaker 3 (18:37):
How's there one still going?

Speaker 5 (18:39):
None of us a vegetarian?

Speaker 3 (18:40):
What the hell are you doing?

Speaker 5 (18:41):
Pizza h Robin Kip and Couriotes In the morning.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Next week, we are taking our show to schools for
every day, five different schools. If you've registered, make sure
you're listening, because I think we'll do it around seven
fifty this morning. We're going to name two of the
schools that have registered the first to get a phone
call to us, so it can be a student teacher
whoever from that school will win the very first place.

Speaker 4 (19:08):
So make sure you're listening.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
If you've registered to have us bring the EKO to
your school, make sure you're listening. We're going to do
that at about seven fifty this morning, and then lock
this number in your phone, thirteen one oh sixty five
because it's going to be a race.

Speaker 4 (19:21):
I know, and a really cool one. And the Dagwood
dog guy will turn up at your school, will be
there with us. We'll do the whole show.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
Yeah everything, Now, Corey, you said you had to get
something off your chest because you had what sounded like
the most bogan weekend.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
I feel like I am sharing all this.

Speaker 7 (19:38):
Teagan probably doesn't know this, but when I was young,
I was eighteen nineteen and I was at a party
and I remember actually I fell asleep on my chair
around the fire with my beer can in my hand.
I woke up two hours later when the sun rose
and finished my beer can and kept going the next day.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
That just reminded me. But I also need to get
off my chest.

Speaker 7 (20:00):
So before that weekend, we just had I don't know
bel if I'm doing this, but he it was a bet,
and a BET's a bet.

Speaker 3 (20:07):
I bragged, because you know, I didn't brag. Actually, he
kept saying, are you're a bush? You should be good
at shooting? Blah blah blah. Yeah, I'll kick. What are
we talking about? Just my mate, Damien?

Speaker 2 (20:16):
Do you why do you put your hand down foot
about five foot? Little fell, little five a little fellow mate. Anyway,
we're having this bet and he goes all be all right,
that's bet. Then best shot win, you know, and if
I win, you got to tell it, you got to
you got to say on air that you're lost. I
lost to me a little fire foot friend at the

(20:38):
clay shooting and he he wopped my barm, Like really,
I think I got maybe two out of six and.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
You got five out of six.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
I don't even understand this, this level of bogan. So
someone's so someone's firing, someone shooting off the so your
press the target and they and you've got a shotgun
and you're shooting these things.

Speaker 7 (20:59):
Yeah, okay, it's cashed. My only thing is he's the
same height as as as the launcher, so he's at
the season already making excuses.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
My version of a bogan is someone who's brushed their.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Mullet, lots of mullets.

Speaker 1 (21:16):
They're so proud of them, so proud of the mullet,
or they wear their new flanny.

Speaker 3 (21:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (21:21):
I mean.

Speaker 1 (21:22):
I did meet a new boyfriend of a girlfriend of
mine and it was a dinner to meet all the friends,
and he was such a bogan, which was kind of cute.

Speaker 4 (21:30):
He had his new.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
Crocs on, yes, fancy crocs rushed, and a new flannel.

Speaker 4 (21:39):
It had possibly come.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
You know, I've got a mate who cashed up Bogan.
He owned a he started a trucking company and it
went really well. So all of a sudden he had
all his cash bought a fishing boat, like I think
it was nearly half a million dollars this week, and
he gave it a name that I can't even repeat
because I had the sea word in it.

Speaker 4 (21:58):
Oh, that's the most.

Speaker 14 (22:07):
What's going on?

Speaker 8 (22:08):
Guy?

Speaker 16 (22:10):
Uh?

Speaker 14 (22:10):
I was just thinking about parties on the weekend and stuff,
but I was up at es fail for him. It
was actually for a wedding, but we had a we
had like a bonfire. It was a huge bonfire and
we were like heavily obviously on the source and one
of the guys legitimately fell asleep with his leg in

(22:32):
the fire.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
Okay, did someone help him?

Speaker 14 (22:37):
Well, well, we didn't really know he was on fire
for a while.

Speaker 2 (22:46):
Would be Was there a bit of curiosity when you
see him, wonder if he's going to wake up or
do I have to do something?

Speaker 8 (22:54):
Yeah?

Speaker 14 (22:54):
It was somebody else literally is like, hey, dude, your
legs is fire.

Speaker 3 (23:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 14 (23:06):
Yeah, he had to get skid grass.

Speaker 3 (23:08):
Oh man, he wasn't It wasn't.

Speaker 14 (23:12):
Like he put it in there and he since his hairs. No,
his skid was on fire.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Oh man, Well, a family dag with dog pack for you, Greggy,
Thank you mate.

Speaker 4 (23:24):

Dolly was the world's most famous cloned animal, which a
British band famously featured Baby, Sporty, Scary Ginger and Posh,
which Sony game console changed gaming in the mid nineties.
Come On, which US President was involved in a scandal
with the White House in turn Monica Lewinsky.

Speaker 2 (24:45):
Bill Yes, Bill, that'll Bill, Bill Clinton Yes.

Speaker 1 (24:52):
Titanic was the highest grossing movie of what year ninety one,
which golfing legend announced he was turning pro in nineteen
ninety six.

Speaker 4 (25:02):
Which new form.

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Of public transport was introduced to Brisbane in nineteen ninety six.
It's on the Water River Ferries which Australian which Australian
soap launched the career of Chris Hemsworth, which.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Round disc Christmas time time time you missed the soap
cart not for it was home and away from Chris Emsworth.

Speaker 1 (25:32):
Titanic was ninety seven PlayStation that change gaming.

Speaker 10 (25:38):

I was a teenager. Last time I read it was
a birthday party. I don't remember. Did they have garlic bread?

Speaker 5 (26:22):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (26:22):
Yeah, yeah, you want the good pizzas? I do remember?

Speaker 2 (26:28):

That's going to be our prize for pop quiz, So
make sure you have a crack.

Speaker 5 (26:45):
Robin Kith and coreotes in the morning.

Speaker 4 (26:47):
Now we went to went saw.

Speaker 2 (26:50):
Actually I want to I'm just thinking about how much
I want to identify this person because there's a friend
of a friend of mine, friend of friend of.

Speaker 4 (26:57):
Ours, and I don't want to say too much.

Speaker 2 (27:00):
Because I discovered that I think she's nearly forty, very
close and the whole entire time that I've known her
for like sort of ten years plus, and I know
other people have known her for longer.

Speaker 4 (27:15):
Never had a boyfriend or girlfriend. Never had a partner, wow.
Never I don't think been on a date what ever
in her life. I don't think so.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
I'm never There's no there's been no indication of any
interest and or any type of action at all. I
think it's it's possible that why I don't know.

Speaker 1 (27:40):
I don't know she does she want someone and can't
find them, or she doesn't want someone.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
I think she wants someone. I think she would be
she would like to have someone.

Speaker 3 (27:49):
Or she just stopped trying to find Yeah, she.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Certainly not actively like she's not on the apps, she's
not doing that stuff.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
But that's awful.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Yeah, busy, like very very professional, very good at her job.
I've just got a high ranking sort of job as
making some great money.

Speaker 1 (28:04):
So not hurt by someone and is trying to recover
from the pain of that, because that can often be
see three types, right, Like I was just looking up
famous celebrities who have chosen to be single, right Jenna
Ortaga from Wednesday. You know the movie from Yeah, yeah,
she's only twenty three and never had a boyfriend.

Speaker 4 (28:23):
But she's only twenty twenty three. Yeah, we're talking like
thirty nine here.

Speaker 1 (28:27):
Then we've got Stevie Nix, who's the complete opposite end
of the spectrum from Fleetwood Mac who has been single
for like thirty years by choice, right, but that's also
because she's been quite jaded by her relationships.

Speaker 4 (28:40):
But someone who's nearing forty.

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Yes and not I think, never had a relationship, that's
extraordinary thirty one oh six y five.

Speaker 4 (28:47):
Maybe one of those people maybe hearing that, and you've
got and you're in that boat. Maybe you've gone longer.

Speaker 3 (28:53):
So they're a good friend of yours. Yeah, maybe there
it is?

Speaker 7 (28:55):
What So she's realized that whatever partner you it, or
you marry, they're going to need help with you.

Speaker 2 (29:03):
So you're saying she doesn't want it to be a animal.
She sees Naomi's life and says, that's not for me.

Speaker 7 (29:09):
Yeah, maybes I can't do that because I'm only doing
it for him now and in a relationship.

Speaker 4 (29:15):
Maybe maybe maybe I'm a cautionary tail.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
This is the man that last week, which I cannot
believe you said out loud when Naomi said, oh, what
would you do if I died?

Speaker 4 (29:25):
You just went, I can't do this by myself. I'd
have to get someone else. I mean, I mean that
that has resonated with me a lot because I'm like,
you just said that, because my exact words where I'd
find it very hard.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
And then she said to move on and I said no,
to live without without someone else?

Speaker 4 (29:50):
I mean, yeah, it was honest. Yeah, that's not great
for you anyway.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
So who's who's the longest single in Brisbane? And how
long have you been single for? Let's hear about it.
We've got we've got a prize.

Speaker 1 (30:03):
Yeah, we've got ex golf so thank Brisbane's premium indoor
golfing destination.

Speaker 4 (30:08):
You win five mates Yep.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
You can go with mates or you can go alone
if that's what you want to do.

Speaker 5 (30:12):
If that's you, Robin, Kip and Coyote in the morning.

Speaker 2 (30:16):
Now, if you have registered to have us next week
at your school, we're bringing the Echo to.

Speaker 4 (30:21):
Your school with the dad Wood dog guy.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
We are going to name two schools in about twenty
minutes from now.

Speaker 1 (30:27):
First person on the phone. It can be a parent,
be a teacher, It can.

Speaker 4 (30:31):
Be a kid.

Speaker 3 (30:32):
Yep. Oh, so we name it and then the first
funding up yeap, and.

Speaker 2 (30:35):
It's a race to the Phone's Thursday one, six y five,
so get ready if you have registered, that's coming up
very soon. Right now, they were talking about the longest
you've ever been single or the person in Brisbane that's
been single the longest, because I've got a friend who's
now nearly forty and as far as I can tell,
she's never had a boyfriend but once one. Yeah, okay,
and she's great. It's not wrong with her, you know

(30:57):
what I mean. It's not like it's not like you
look at it. Okay, I'll get it, you know what
I mean.

Speaker 4 (31:02):
And please don't ever say that out.

Speaker 3 (31:08):
Galva. I mean, is it you made or something else?
Been single?

Speaker 4 (31:12):
It's you, It's me morning, guys.

Speaker 13 (31:14):
By the way, I no, I've never actually had a girlfriend.
I turned fifty two this year.

Speaker 3 (31:21):
Wow.

Speaker 8 (31:22):
Wow.

Speaker 13 (31:23):
No, I've just I mean, I've always been, you know,
always trying to look after myself and I'm just knowing
that I don't have anybody else to rely on me.
It gives me the chance to, you know, go wherever
I want, do whatever I want, whenever I want, so
I can come home whenever I like. I just don't
have anybody else to answer to except for myself, So
I'm really happy pretty much.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
Yeah, okay, well done that? Of course? Me single for
how long?

Speaker 3 (31:50):
I've been single for twelve years?

Speaker 4 (31:52):
My choice?

Speaker 13 (31:54):
Yeah, own choice, very very bad terms.

Speaker 11 (31:58):
She was a very drug affected person, so it put
me down the wrong track. So I decided to end it,
and twelve years later, I'm still happy.

Speaker 4 (32:08):
And yeah, really, so do you reckon?

Speaker 11 (32:11):
So are you interesting?

Speaker 4 (32:13):
No interest?

Speaker 11 (32:14):
No interest at the moment.

Speaker 4 (32:15):
No, So you don't reckon?

Speaker 3 (32:17):
You'll ever get back on the horse? Well you're not sure?
I can't that one day?

Speaker 14 (32:21):
I mean if that person does come along, But yeah no.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
No, so sad like I was, I was single for
nearly five years by choice because I was trying to
get over the death of my husband.

Speaker 4 (32:34):
And I understand that, but love's the best, No.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Matt, really is that when it's not worth it, it's
really not worth it.

Speaker 1 (32:42):
So yeah, this is the wrong person man a Leanne
out of Wishart.

Speaker 4 (32:48):
How long have you been single?

Speaker 3 (32:51):
Twenty? Well, what's happened?

Speaker 5 (32:56):
I was kind of my choice, but not by choice,
so I just haven't found anyone that's you know, it's.

Speaker 11 (33:05):
Stop everything and changed black for you know, and it
doesn't mean like fuck like I have Puddy of six
do and I have friends for different things for friends
like I have shows with.

Speaker 3 (33:18):
Benefits.

Speaker 1 (33:22):
You're sorting all areas of your life.

Speaker 16 (33:25):
It's a different person for every I think.

Speaker 4 (33:28):
Okay, everyone's got their role.

Speaker 1 (33:32):
You have a cast that's good.

Speaker 4 (33:37):
Ready at the gammer, good morning, their gun good. He's
been single and love the show.

Speaker 11 (33:45):
Look it's not me, it's my mum. He's been single forever,
fifty years after my dad. He's doing pretty badly. But
that's not the really good point. The point is that
so and she got in the way late. She decided
to start going on Dawning Red. It's not the prime boyfriend,
but the cats is all she thought.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
With Creep, did she succeed?

Speaker 11 (34:05):
Oh my, the tale of the things, she used to tell.
I won't go with the sail. I don't want to
get in any trouble. But I think, mom, you know
this is quite dangerous. You complete yourself. She thought he
was quite well in controlled. Yeah, so.

Speaker 1 (34:22):
I'm very scared, but yeah, that that's kind of that's
kind of angry isn't it.

Speaker 4 (34:29):
Do this tomorrow or this week?

Speaker 1 (34:31):
But we have to talk about online dating because I
have got two stories of friends in the last week
who've had the most appalling behavior from online dating experiences, and.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
I'm guessing there'll be more like Reggie's mom.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
Yeah, Ricky of the Sunny Coast, how long have you
been single?

Speaker 18 (34:46):
For seventeen years?

Speaker 4 (34:49):
Wow?

Speaker 2 (34:49):
Okay, okay? So when did when did you? When did
the drought begin.

Speaker 4 (34:57):
To stop raining?

Speaker 3 (34:57):
Ricky? Stop running at a king?

Speaker 14 (35:00):
Believe it?

Speaker 3 (35:01):
Well?

Speaker 4 (35:03):
So how old are you now? Thirty five?

Speaker 3 (35:06):
Yeah? What what Ricky?

Speaker 14 (35:09):
I mean?

Speaker 18 (35:10):
That's yeah, all my twenties. Nothing, it's just been a
Sahara DEA's a whole way.

Speaker 3 (35:16):
Wait, so no rate at all?

Speaker 18 (35:18):
Like nothing, it's been a lot being slugging a dead horse.

Speaker 4 (35:26):
Okay the whole season.

Speaker 3 (35:29):
Oh wait, tell you a visit. Are you running sixteen businesses?
What you're doing? Yeah?

Speaker 18 (35:37):
Now, I'm just a support worker in South Brisbane.

Speaker 13 (35:41):
So I did?

Speaker 18 (35:41):
I did text you guys saying come on, help help
me find someone?

Speaker 1 (35:47):
Okay, So Ricky a thirty second dating help for you?

Speaker 4 (35:52):
What are you looking for? What age? What kind of things?

Speaker 11 (35:57):
I'm looking for?

Speaker 18 (35:58):
A nice man? Someone that's capable of building in something
but doesn't have to.

Speaker 4 (36:06):
So practically love capable of building but you don't have to.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
Yeah, I love it.

Speaker 18 (36:11):
Some one that likes a good barbecue, drinking bloody bloody
camping and.

Speaker 3 (36:16):
Just loyal slay.

Speaker 4 (36:19):
Like, what do you look like?

Speaker 8 (36:22):
I don't know.

Speaker 18 (36:24):
What I'm looking like about five seven five, So I
go to the gym.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
Girl didn't fit.

Speaker 18 (36:34):
It's just I'm like, kimp, I'm working progress it.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
You don't just like, you know, like a off grinder.
You want like a legit relationship.

Speaker 18 (36:48):
Yeah, look I've done me hit it in quitit days.
But now now one's that are.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
A bit more like rob.

Speaker 18 (36:56):
And I like something a bit more with substance.

Speaker 1 (36:58):
And okay, Ricky, Well, if anyone to meet up with Ricky,
then you can you know or through the text line
four oh nine nine seven three nine seven three.

Speaker 4 (37:10):
We will see what happens. Ricky. We will keep your number.
But you sound like a lovely fellow.

Speaker 19 (37:14):
I do, thank you.

Speaker 3 (37:15):
Okay, So here we get on the xcalf too. That's hall.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
Let's give us Ricky a date involved. So yes, we've
got a session at ex Golf made to South Brisbane.

Speaker 4 (37:24):
This has been perfect.

Speaker 2 (37:25):
You work in there so you and five mates, or
you could just take one go for a date.

Speaker 18 (37:30):
Great.

Speaker 2 (37:31):
So it happens Brisbane's premiere indoor golf destination Robin Kid
and in the morning halfway through the podcast. So if
you missed the footyo on the weekend, the Broncos were
up twenty four nil against the Dolphins, like it was Saturday.

Speaker 4 (37:47):
It was so fun, like if I was screaming and
has re scored a double, like we just look at
here we go. Yeah, we're off. It's back.

Speaker 3 (37:53):
Billy Walters's back.

Speaker 4 (37:54):
Everything's back. He had a cracking game he did.

Speaker 3 (37:58):
He played really good.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
What difference like the team is when they have Billy
out there. But then the Dolphins just like the floodgates opened.
You know, Hammer scored a couple of runaway tries. The
next thing you know, the Dolphins have beaten the Broncos. Yes,
but the interesting stat so frightening stat.

Speaker 3 (38:16):
Is a frightening stat.

Speaker 7 (38:18):
So the Dragons won on the weekend, right, and they
have won a lot that pushes them up to twelve points.

Speaker 3 (38:25):
Goes on eighteen points. There are four rounds to go two.

Speaker 7 (38:28):
Points around two points around the Dragons have the West Tigers,
the Bulldogs, into No into Manly and then into paramatter.

Speaker 4 (38:44):
So three of them are outside the eight. Is Manly
out of the eight as well, so well Manly has
not been playing great.

Speaker 7 (38:49):
Four of those are teams that will be beatable because
they are underperforming at the back end. And we have
what it is obviously this weekend into the race in
the ladder in the Canberra Yeah, into Melbourne, Yeah at
home into.

Speaker 2 (39:06):
Dogs into bull Dogs. Okay, so it's not as it's
not as good a round, that's for sure.

Speaker 7 (39:10):
Down in Sydney the Dogs and that Dogs game look
at their ninth, so so what they would need to
win most of their games of Dogs to make the eight,
right yep, So it's a danger.

Speaker 4 (39:21):
So we could be last, well we could, we could
finished bottom of the ladder.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
Not what happened before.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
When you've won a premiership and then you go last.

Speaker 4 (39:31):
I think we've it's done the other way last time,
I mean last time.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Yeah, I don't think team has gone from dead last
to winning.

Speaker 7 (39:40):
They've been close to go dead last to like the
close to the prelim or made the semis.

Speaker 4 (39:45):
But look at first day, last would be awful.

Speaker 3 (39:48):
They just have to they win this week.

Speaker 2 (39:50):
You yeah, then, but yeah, so who have we got
this week? It's we got Worries Warriors. War Warriors just
beat Penrith.

Speaker 4 (39:59):
Is that at home?

Speaker 3 (40:00):
Warriors just be is it?

Speaker 4 (40:02):
Where is that games?

Speaker 1 (40:05):
Yeah, that's when they play the Warriors.

Speaker 4 (40:08):
It's insanity.

Speaker 7 (40:09):
Yeah, it's insane. They'll be fifty thousand there for the
Dolphins game. There will be fifty thousand game.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
Yeahs are late.

Speaker 2 (40:17):
I'm on the Wars for this year like they're they're
my team now I want to win the whole thing.
Okays up, Well, it doesn't know, it doesn't feel right
because I feel like you've got to pick a Broncos
or Dolphins.

Speaker 4 (40:29):
So I've picked the Broncos. They're my team.

Speaker 3 (40:31):
So you know, I've got a soft spot for the Dolphins.

Speaker 7 (40:34):
Rugby league thing ever, earlier in the show was when
you got it even you actually brought up you've got
to be able to defend, right, and the main teams
haven't done that most of the year. They have a
few games that's not good, but like you know, Dolphins, Sharks,
all those other teams have.

Speaker 3 (40:54):
Let too many points in in other games. Right, So
the main.

Speaker 7 (40:56):
Ones, which are Penrith to me, Russ and the Wires,
the Warriors, they're.

Speaker 3 (41:02):
The three that all I can say at the moment.
Dolphins can put on points, but they let him in.

Speaker 7 (41:06):
They let him in, and that's too hard when you
get to that needy, gritty part.

Speaker 4 (41:08):
Okay, So I think the Wars.

Speaker 2 (41:10):
If the Wars win, that'll be grateful for the game unreal,
for the Massive.

Speaker 7 (41:15):
They deserve it for what they did with us in COVID.
They kept their game running. They moved their whole life
over here and left their families for eight months. So
if anyone that deserves it, it's them. So I hope
they was.

Speaker 3 (41:27):
But the Bronx this week, yes, yes, then it is
up the Bronx.

Speaker 5 (41:31):
This week that Robin Kidd and couriotes in Robin's.

Speaker 1 (41:38):
News what ed Sharan says about his red hair.

Speaker 4 (41:46):
I'll tell you that in a sec.

Speaker 1 (41:48):
But they watch his Pamela Anderson's son has just got
married and he had one request for his mum. Now,
Pamela Anderson has become famous over the last couple of
years for not wearing makeup. I'm really trying to distance
herself from that whole bay Watch time. So she dyed
her head like a rusty reddish color. Yeah, And her
son has said, please, Mum, can you go back to

(42:10):
the platinum blonde.

Speaker 4 (42:11):
I don't care that you don't wear makeup.

Speaker 1 (42:13):
I think you're beautiful, but I just know you as
my mum when you're blonde.

Speaker 4 (42:17):
Oh okay, so she did that's nice for the wedding.

Speaker 1 (42:20):
Yeah, just for the wedding, but she actually said it's
kind of nice to go.

Speaker 4 (42:23):
Back to who she has always been.

Speaker 3 (42:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (42:25):
I don't know, would you.

Speaker 1 (42:26):
I'd be fine if oh, if my kids said can
you cut your hair for my wedding, I'd gone up.

Speaker 4 (42:32):
I would probably change their hair color, would you, Yeah?
I probably would if they asked, like if it was
a big deal. But I've been back for so long.
Oh I did got once. It did look good all black.

Speaker 14 (42:43):
It was not.

Speaker 4 (42:45):
It's some pretty famous redheads. We've got Harry of course,
Prince Harry.

Speaker 1 (42:48):
We've got Nicole Kidman and Emma Stone, but obviously the most.

Speaker 4 (42:51):
Famous is Ed Sheeran.

Speaker 1 (42:53):
It's now pretty cool and fashionable to be a redhair,
but it wasn't. And he's been recently talking about what
happened when you first was getting famous in at clubs.
He used to get cornered by other Redheads and they
trauma bonded for what had happened to them.

Speaker 20 (43:09):
Yeah, when I got famous, I would go to clubs
and my night at a club would be like some
ginger kid in the corner talking to me.

Speaker 3 (43:17):
So it'd just be like, it's hard for us, man,
wasn't it.

Speaker 20 (43:21):
No one quite understands what we went through, man, and
just trying to have a good time.

Speaker 3 (43:25):
Honestly, I feel like.

Speaker 4 (43:26):
I'm the spokesperson from that.

Speaker 20 (43:27):
I always like joking about like forming a ginger army
to actually like just want day just be like go
around and see what happened.

Speaker 4 (43:33):
That's funny.

Speaker 2 (43:35):
Some kids just going I don't know what it's like, man, Robin,
Kip and Coriote in the morning.

Speaker 4 (43:43):
Let me tell you about Britney Spears. She's doing the
crazy again in a set.

Speaker 1 (43:50):
But there's a new movie coming out in a few days.
It's called One Night Only. It stars Callum Turner, who
is Dual Leiper's new husband, and Monica Barbella, who's from
Top Gun Maverick. But what it's interesting is that it's
this kind of futuristic movie set in New York city,
where pre marital sex is outlawed by the government except

(44:12):
for one annual twelve hour windows.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
But what's interesting, how funny.

Speaker 1 (44:20):
But what was interesting is when they initially put this
film like we're talking good looking people to like a
test audience, they came back and said that there was
too much nudity, too much, so they had to tone
it down.

Speaker 2 (44:35):
No, no, just a boyfriend husband her husband. And now
have you heard the rooms about him recently that that
apparently he was in a relationship and they were out
out at dinner. She was Jua Lipa just happened to
be at the same table. There was like a double
date situation. And moments later, like days later, he's broken
it up, broken up with his missus and now he's

(44:58):
looking up with Jewel Lipa.

Speaker 4 (44:59):
And did she have someone du or?

Speaker 2 (45:02):
I don't think did because she's perfect, but I think,
but I think as well. Apparently he never posted photos
of his x like on his Instagram, never had photos.
And then as soon as he's with due Lipa, it's
just like a shot fast.

Speaker 4 (45:15):
He's like he's all like, have a look at.

Speaker 3 (45:16):
Me, missus.

Speaker 2 (45:18):
Yeah, but I wouldn't I wouldn't, you know, differentiate between
there's no chance.

Speaker 1 (45:24):
If you're at a table and juwea lipa is single
and there's Naomi.

Speaker 3 (45:30):
You can't.

Speaker 4 (45:31):
Let's let's not talk about stupid situations.

Speaker 3 (45:33):
It's never going to happen, and you choose Naomi. I
would exactly right.

Speaker 4 (45:37):
Thank you, Correots, your full name correct.

Speaker 1 (45:42):
I's posted another video now you know she said one
last couple of weeks ago where she wanted another baby.
These times, she's letting everyone know that you can't trust everyone.
That's what she captioned the post. And she wasn't talking
about family or friends. She's talking about her cosmetic injector
after she had a slightly watched botox experience. Because you've

(46:04):
put so much bottus on the left eye that drove
down like that and it's just now starting to raise
up a big normal again.

Speaker 8 (46:12):
It's so embarrassed as like that.

Speaker 4 (46:16):
Girls, you have to be careful if you depo talks
to these people and start speaking okay warning, I like that.

Speaker 1 (46:27):
I mean true, but like botox isn't injectable and things
can go wrong, and if you do it in Australia,
you have to sign a waiver saying that they are
not responsible.

Speaker 3 (46:36):
Is that right? Oh yeah, you're now signing that and
you still go through with it. Yeah, of course that's
a big, big no.

Speaker 4 (46:43):
Sure if you have to sign that waiver, Yeah, you
go to know this is a bit dodge.

Speaker 1 (46:47):
Is that what you're Yeah, And often they have to
the first time you do it, you have to get
a doctor up on an iPad to go do you
understand the implications of what you're just about to do,
And so you then have to verbally agree to Oh wow.

Speaker 6 (47:00):
Say like the newsroom like this is women are literally
injecting men. Actually, people inject botulism into tox like a
jet toxin into their faces.

Speaker 4 (47:11):
Not what photox is. It is payin Corey. Did you
know that's what this was. It causes paralysis of the face.
That's why.

Speaker 3 (47:20):
Face beauty.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
It's so crazy that they that someone had botulisms, like
the put it together, someone had botch them and go, Okay,
that part of your body is numb and frozen and
a bit swollen.

Speaker 4 (47:30):
Maybe if we could get that and put.

Speaker 3 (47:32):
It in your way.

Speaker 1 (47:33):
Shuttered because it was helping and I can't think of
the condition of Google it, but it was actually used
to assist people who needed it. To be able to function,
and then they realized that the other implication for this.

Speaker 4 (47:46):
Was that it actually froze. So you're functioning and you
look ten years younger. This is true. Is that crazy
how they did that with drugs?

Speaker 2 (47:54):
So the first of the I think Viagara was supposed
to be something for like heart medication, was like, yeah,
so that has gone buzz dog. I've had a boner
for twelve hours.

Speaker 1 (48:04):
Okay, I'm sorry, there are kids, but that's what happened today.

Speaker 5 (48:10):
Anyone else Robin Kip and coreyotes in the morning discover.

Speaker 1 (48:18):
Everything you need for every room at Temple and Webster

beautiful prices.

Speaker 4 (48:28):

Speaker 1 (48:30):

Speaker 4 (48:38):

Speaker 3 (48:42):

Speaker 4 (48:43):
Yeah, I get spending that thousand bucks.

Speaker 2 (48:45):
So we're going to do this every Monday as well
for the next few weeks. Ashley out of Marburg, you
get to have first crack of this.

Speaker 3 (48:52):
Hey Ashleyhi, guys, I was born to say not good,
but I can do yes.

Speaker 2 (48:58):
All we need is passion and the right words. And
if you get the words wrong, we'll accept it. We'll
give you a little bit of leeway for extra passion.

Speaker 3 (49:05):
How many words?

Speaker 1 (49:07):
Yeah, and because you are kicking it off, which is
always the hardest.

Speaker 2 (49:10):
Yes, we have plenty of people death right in your
But so today we've chosen a song because the Carli
curved glass coffee table, which you can get at Temple
and Webster, it just so happens to be named the
same as Carli ray Jebson.

Speaker 4 (49:29):
So we've got to we've got to call me.

Speaker 2 (49:31):
Maybe we're gonna you'll hear the song stop and then
we need you to sing the next line of this.

Speaker 4 (49:36):
Okay, you got it?

Speaker 16 (49:37):
Here we go, now myself fool wish pennies and damn
sort of kiss. I wasn't looking for this and now
you're in your stair, was holding red.

Speaker 3 (49:48):
Sheen skills showing it was going.

Speaker 10 (49:52):
Where do you think I'm knowing?

Speaker 3 (49:54):
Maybe?

Speaker 4 (49:55):
Hey, I just let you and this is crazy, but
you is my number. Don't call me?

Speaker 18 (50:02):
Maybe?

Speaker 3 (50:03):
Yeah? You do what more than so good?

Speaker 4 (50:08):
I think it might have been one word off, but
that's fine.

Speaker 3 (50:10):
You did enough passionate.

Speaker 4 (50:11):
Here's the exact are you going, baby, I just make you. Yeah,
it's crazy, he'll call.

Speaker 2 (50:22):
Me maybe very good, you're going baby, Well done, Ashley.

Speaker 4 (50:29):
What do you need from Temple and Webster? Is this
stuff you've got your eye on? Because a thousand dollars
gift card?

Speaker 10 (50:34):
Oh my god.

Speaker 16 (50:35):
Okay.

Speaker 10 (50:35):
So in my bedroom currently is a bed and a
bedside table.

Speaker 4 (50:38):
So I want like some drawers, a.

Speaker 13 (50:41):
Full length mirra, and I would love some new bedding.

Speaker 3 (50:43):
Yeah, I can do that.

Speaker 2 (50:45):
What about what about one of those chairs in the
corner that you can put your clothes on when you
take them off and you don't want to put them
in the wash, but you also don't know where to
do with them.

Speaker 4 (50:52):
So yep, they'll go from my bed to the chair.

Speaker 3 (50:54):
Perfect, you need the chair.

Speaker 4 (50:56):
You're not living until you've got the chair.

Speaker 3 (50:58):
Sure, thank you?

Speaker 2 (51:00):
Oh yeah, Ashley, Robin and cots in the money in Corey.

Speaker 3 (51:06):

Speaker 4 (52:38):
I think Corey should do some piggyback something.

registered for this and it's been very hard for us
to work out which schools we're going to go to.

through on the phone, the first it can be a teacher, student, whatever, parent.

(53:11):
The first one through to call us, we'll go to
that school.

Speaker 7 (53:14):
Do I say on your mark, set go and you
both say one each. Okay, so you say the top one,
Robin you say the bottom.

Speaker 4 (53:19):
Or at the same time so no one can hear it.
Hould we do it?

Speaker 3 (53:23):

it like?

Speaker 17 (54:23):
We have approximately two enrollment, a small school. We're about
to celebrate our fifty years in operation next year, and
we have a new principal who's been absolutely grateful this
year coming on board.

Speaker 21 (54:36):
So I'm so excited.

Speaker 1 (54:38):
Yeah, great, And did you register on behalf of your kids?
How many kids have you got at the school?

Speaker 17 (54:44):
I have one child at the school.

Speaker 9 (54:46):

Speaker 17 (54:53):
Knowledge out there for the school and involvement. And yeah,
I only told the school last week.

Speaker 2 (54:58):
That actually the principal. The principal is called through on
the other line without Angela.

Speaker 3 (55:04):
Hi, Hi Angela, good morning, missus Armstrong, good morning. I
was hoping that I was first, and I can hear
that I'm not first.

Speaker 2 (55:14):
We didn't need that, Christy, Oh.

Speaker 3 (55:19):
My gosh, how wonderful.

Speaker 10 (55:20):
We can always count on Christie and our beautiful PNC.

Speaker 4 (55:24):
Does that mean that you're going to come.

Speaker 3 (55:25):
To spring on Central?

Speaker 5 (55:27):
It does?

Speaker 10 (55:30):
I don't want to shriek on air.

Speaker 4 (55:31):
That wouldn't be very printical.

Speaker 2 (55:35):
He thought, you've got to maintain composure.

Speaker 3 (55:37):
Missing is the best.

Speaker 10 (55:42):
Oh golly, I'm actually a little bit shaky.

Speaker 4 (55:44):
Wonderful right there, miss We're bringing the Dagwood Dog guy.
He's got like five hundred Dagwood dogs. If you'll give
to the kids, we're coming.

Speaker 1 (55:54):

which day yet. We'll work it out with you, guys,
but you are our first school and we cannot wait.

Speaker 10 (56:04):
Our health fantastic Thank you to Christy and to all
of our beautiful families who nominated our fool.

Speaker 3 (56:12):

Speaker 4 (56:15):
But all right, guys, we'll see you next week.

Speaker 18 (56:22):
Thank you so much.

Speaker 3 (56:24):
Done, Yes, see you soon.

Speaker 2 (56:26):

week because that's how we're going to do it. We're
going to give out two schools at a time. The
first one through wins for their school, So make sure you're.

Speaker 5 (56:34):
Listening Robin Kipp and choreotes in the morning.

Speaker 2 (56:37):
All right, let's see if we can start this week
with one thousand bucks, three questions away. It's good old
fashioned double or nothing, cash or crash.

Speaker 4 (56:45):
Hello, Jemma out of Almo.

Speaker 3 (56:47):
Oh my god, Hello, Hey Jimmy.

Speaker 4 (56:50):
Oh thought ish lass.

Speaker 1 (56:52):
Listen to you last year?

Speaker 5 (56:55):
Hi?

Speaker 3 (56:56):
How long have you lived there for? Gemma? We've left
here for four years.

Speaker 4 (57:01):
I love the Scottish accent.

Speaker 3 (57:02):
I do love it, but it's not as thick as
I thought. Maybe four years it'll be after four years.

Speaker 4 (57:07):
No, it's good.

Speaker 3 (57:08):
We can understand you.

Speaker 5 (57:09):
That's really good.

Speaker 14 (57:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (57:12):
Did you struggle when you when you first came did
people struggle to understand you a bit?

Speaker 3 (57:16):
Yeah?

Speaker 18 (57:16):
So dude and my working there and you get the
old work because then what did you just say? There?

Speaker 2 (57:21):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (57:22):
Okay, do me a favorite gem? I say the word book. No,
say how you said big?

Speaker 5 (57:29):
Big?

Speaker 3 (57:30):
Can you say working? There's one more time.

Speaker 11 (57:33):
Working?

Speaker 3 (57:34):
Yeah, that's we're all doing.

Speaker 2 (57:38):
Can you please say no? No, captain, I cannot give
it anymore.

Speaker 3 (57:42):
No, no, Captain, I can't give it anymore.

Speaker 4 (57:45):
Star Trek love it.

Speaker 12 (57:46):
I love.

Speaker 4 (57:50):
You as a toy. You win some money, I really hope.

Speaker 3 (57:56):
I wish I could do your accident.

Speaker 4 (57:57):
Did you hear the first question?

Speaker 19 (58:00):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (58:01):
Okay, I'm going to give you the answer anyway.

Speaker 2 (58:02):
Excellent, All right, okay, okay, so there's five seconds on
the clock. The buzzer means you're too like getting before
that you're ready to go?

Speaker 3 (58:11):
Okay, here we go.

Speaker 7 (58:12):
A question one other than Rudolph. How many raindeer does
sing I have?

Speaker 5 (58:16):
It is correct?

Speaker 4 (58:21):
I didn't I ask what you're going to spend this money?

Speaker 3 (58:24):
Well, I've got my daughter Ruth.

Speaker 14 (58:26):
Men.

Speaker 4 (58:26):
We were hoping for dream World passes dream World?

Speaker 3 (58:31):
Yeah, okay, what else to do for.

Speaker 9 (58:32):
The public hall?

Speaker 14 (58:33):
It?

Speaker 3 (58:33):
So that would be fun?

Speaker 4 (58:34):
Oh yeah, no, that would be good. So it's probably
cheaper than isn't it?

Speaker 8 (58:39):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (58:40):
Yeah, a lot.

Speaker 4 (58:41):
That's two hundred and fifty bucks. You've got that. Oh,
but do you want to go double for five hundred?

Speaker 3 (58:47):
We've lost because I took the mickey do theey? I
just love your accent. Do you know a lot about
animals and depends.

Speaker 11 (58:59):
In Scotland?

Speaker 4 (58:59):
Yeah, this could be an animal. That's a question about
an animal that would be in Scotland.

Speaker 3 (59:04):
I think.

Speaker 4 (59:05):
So what do you want to do? Yes, it's your choice,
double or nothing.

Speaker 10 (59:08):
You know, I'm going to cash and only the cause
that gives us money for dream World today.

Speaker 4 (59:13):
So that would be really exciting for.

Speaker 3 (59:15):
Us to go and have some fun today. It's a
lot money. Yeah, yes, do you.

Speaker 4 (59:24):
Want to know what the question was? Just in case?

Speaker 18 (59:26):
Yes?

Speaker 4 (59:27):
I can probably tet myself here. What baby rabbits called?
Oh bunny? Actually no they're not.

Speaker 6 (59:37):
They're not.

Speaker 1 (59:38):
No, I mean we call them bunny rabbits, but baby
rabbits are apparently called kits.

Speaker 4 (59:45):
Yes, check this, so you dodged that one.

Speaker 3 (59:50):
I think gem that's I'm actually glad of cash? Then
how have I got to that stage in life?

Speaker 4 (59:59):
And don't what about particularly being Scottish? You have a
lot of rabbits.

Speaker 3 (01:00:04):
Yeah, rabbits.

Speaker 4 (01:00:07):
I used to own four and we had lots of kids.

Speaker 3 (01:00:12):
You know, they're born blind, deaf and ailis.

Speaker 2 (01:00:15):
Yeah, yeah, we'll have the best time, have the best
time of dream. Well, Gemma, well done.

Speaker 4 (01:00:26):
We love blessing and thank you.

Speaker 2 (01:00:29):
And that will be question one when we played Tomorrow
Morning when baby rabbits called kits k I T s regon.

Speaker 7 (01:00:35):
They're called kids because they are born without all the kittle.

Speaker 4 (01:00:41):
They've got no kid on.

Speaker 2 (01:00:43):
I don't think it's that that is cute and that
is a good way. It's ready for tomorrow morning. Kids
intelligence Yeah, no one said that, Robin kids and.

Speaker 4 (01:00:58):
In the morning talking about kid's birthday, Oh yes, and
the particularly the party bag. So this has come through
on Insta. It's bron Lewis, who's actually an English comedian.

Speaker 1 (01:01:07):
So this makes me feel better because it's universally bad
about the things you just should not put into a
party bag.

Speaker 4 (01:01:16):
I just took my son to a kid's birthday party.

Speaker 3 (01:01:19):
Very cute, very.

Speaker 21 (01:01:20):
Nice in the party bags. At the end, they were
given whistles. That's bulliant.

Speaker 4 (01:01:34):
Shall we pop that whistle? Should we pop that whistle
in the bin?

Speaker 2 (01:01:38):
No, I love that the whistle. They were even able
to whistle a no sound. That is ridiculous, so not
fair at raf my little boy because remember we did
his birthday, his seventh birthday Macas a couple of weeks

(01:01:59):
ago now, And at the start, my mum went to
put out on all of the table settings those blow whistles,
the ones that go out. Yeah, she said, I got
these and I've just grabbed them, and I said, we
do not put them out at the start of the party.
I said, right at the end, we have those whistles
because it is not now. And once they never there
was a nightmare and they the kids stopped speaking and

(01:02:21):
started whistling a NonStop to each other.

Speaker 4 (01:02:23):
Just okay, let's make a list of things.

Speaker 1 (01:02:27):
I mean, this is a public service announcement for any
sort of person having party bag, you know, decisions. Just
because it's cheap on TAM does not mean you should
include it. What are the missive things that are never
allowed to party?

Speaker 3 (01:02:41):
The whole thing, the bag.

Speaker 2 (01:02:43):
I agree that the party bag should not be a
thing because they've already had enough sugar.

Speaker 1 (01:02:48):
It's expensive enough for party, they've already got citing.

Speaker 3 (01:02:52):
I lose until I win.

Speaker 4 (01:02:54):
Of course, No, you'll just irritate all of us. The
Broncos coming through. Yeah, yep, okay, so thirteen one six
five let's kick it off.

Speaker 5 (01:03:09):
So clearly a.

Speaker 4 (01:03:10):
Whistle the band they should not be.

Speaker 3 (01:03:13):
Yah. Bouncy ball, little figurine, little figurines, and you stand
on and go through your fire.

Speaker 4 (01:03:18):
Bouncy ball in the house.

Speaker 3 (01:03:20):
They get out, and I've got my party bag.

Speaker 4 (01:03:23):
Yeah, throw it as hard as they can.

Speaker 3 (01:03:24):
You know that mom can't get that ever again?

Speaker 14 (01:03:26):
Right?

Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
Anything a smaller child or a dog can ingest that
requires vet bills.

Speaker 3 (01:03:32):
Yes, so every.

Speaker 4 (01:03:35):
Small yeah, small off brand lego pieces. It just gets
stuck in someone think.

Speaker 3 (01:03:41):
I will gummy bears?

Speaker 21 (01:03:42):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:03:43):
Have you with gummy bears? Okay? And those out because
I eat them anyway?

Speaker 4 (01:03:46):
Yeah so bears?

Speaker 13 (01:03:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (01:03:48):
What about slime? No, that just ends up on your carpet.

Speaker 3 (01:03:53):
No, no, fairy, what's his fairy dust? I could keep
going with that, like glitter, just all of it.

Speaker 7 (01:04:04):
Like I thought there was only one type of fairy
does But nope, there is every single different.

Speaker 3 (01:04:09):
Color and thing you can do.

Speaker 2 (01:04:10):
Okay, what so let's let's set some ground rules for
young parents parents that don't know.

Speaker 4 (01:04:16):
What should be absolutely not allowed. You can't do this.
Let's rule it out right now.

Speaker 2 (01:04:21):
Robin Kid and coreotes in it should absolutely not be
in the party bags.

Speaker 4 (01:04:26):
Tell us about it. Thirteen one oh six y five
pop guns, pop guns gun? I think that can hurt anybody?

Speaker 3 (01:04:35):
Yeah, probably, capguns don't hurt.

Speaker 4 (01:04:37):
They're still loud, loud. Rule them out, Robin Ki and Uriotes.
In the morning, We've got a mystery guest coming up.
I'm very excited about this mystery guest. I personally love.

Speaker 3 (01:04:48):
I don't like you know who it is.

Speaker 2 (01:04:49):
I know who like?

Speaker 1 (01:04:51):
Okay, get well, it's all about the nineties. You know,
we've got nineties just to forget.

Speaker 3 (01:04:56):
I'm thirty one, right because all the mystery guests are
like twenty years older them.

Speaker 4 (01:05:00):
Yeah, but you still know the nineties music. Yeah, you
knew the nineties.

Speaker 3 (01:05:05):
Yeah, because he's a great singer.

Speaker 4 (01:05:06):
I mean, mind you, his face looks like he's still
back in the Richard Yes.

Speaker 2 (01:05:12):
Watching, I'm going, oh, yes, Now you brought this this
video which the audio This is hilarious from Instagram.

Speaker 4 (01:05:22):
A mum complaining about a party bag.

Speaker 21 (01:05:24):
I just took my son to a kid's birthday party.
Very cute, very nice in the party bags. At the
end they were given whistles. That's bullying.

Speaker 2 (01:05:40):
The video you can see the kids just like five
meters behind, just whistling all the time.

Speaker 3 (01:05:46):
I just remembered one. Yeah, you know those hands, sticky
hand things.

Speaker 7 (01:05:50):
Oh yes, now quick if I'm wrong, But I feel
like everything's made now cheaper and nastier, so like those
things stick to every and don't come down. At an
old house, we had like a four meter ceiling and
the kids threw it hush and goes not coming down.

Speaker 3 (01:06:11):
How's that going to get that down? Champions up there.

Speaker 7 (01:06:14):
For a couple of days, three, four, five, baby, I
thought it was stuck there forever. So the sticky hand,
that's out that because he starts smacking his sister with it.
And he ruled out the bounty ball because that just
gets pegged in the house.

Speaker 1 (01:06:26):
Yes for the furniture, okay, Kim Kim and Sam fed
What about party bags?

Speaker 10 (01:06:32):
Hello, Hi, I actually think they shouldn't have party bags
at all, That the party should be about the child
having the party and not supporting this idea that everybody
gets surprised every time.

Speaker 4 (01:06:47):
Kim Kim, you go first. I couldn't agree more.

Speaker 3 (01:06:53):
It's not about the end.

Speaker 2 (01:06:55):
It's kind but it's kind of like that episode of
Blue where I think it's Lucky's dad decides that not
everyone should get a prize and pass the parcel, and
he meets he.

Speaker 4 (01:07:04):
Gets met with a favorit of revolt.

Speaker 3 (01:07:07):
All the kids get it's a hard one to go first.

Speaker 4 (01:07:11):
Adele of Nanda, What should we get rid of water balloons?

Speaker 14 (01:07:15):
Oh? What?

Speaker 10 (01:07:19):
So I went to a kids party and all the
party bags were all set out.

Speaker 11 (01:07:23):
Well, one kid found one of the party bags and
he thought.

Speaker 14 (01:07:26):
Oh, water balloon.

Speaker 11 (01:07:27):
So they all went water balloons.

Speaker 10 (01:07:29):
And because it was at the park, they all found
the tap.

Speaker 3 (01:07:31):
Oh yeah, that's just fun.

Speaker 11 (01:07:34):
That is no, it's not fun because the kids are
in there really good outfit.

Speaker 3 (01:07:40):
That's issue.

Speaker 7 (01:07:41):
Can't began country, right, I'll keep some office. He's a boy, yep,
and he's going to slide in mud. You stop buyding
that stuff the party?

Speaker 3 (01:07:50):
Yeah yeah, Caitlin.

Speaker 4 (01:07:52):
Planes which be kicked out of the party bag.

Speaker 5 (01:07:55):
Those little squishy animal things that the kids get and
take it to the roof. They don't come down.

Speaker 3 (01:08:03):
Hand is it the hand to hand?

Speaker 10 (01:08:06):
There's one that you can get now, and they come
intofferent like different little animals.

Speaker 4 (01:08:11):
But they're really squishy, they're like they're.

Speaker 2 (01:08:13):
Piny, and they yet all different animals.

Speaker 10 (01:08:15):
But they get them and they throw them to the
roof and and then they leave those little black marks.

Speaker 3 (01:08:23):
Got to go at least octually. What can what can go?
Can the whole party bad go?

Speaker 8 (01:08:31):
Well? Yes, but the ball with a string, the paddle balls, yeah,
well I almost lost an eye, and.

Speaker 3 (01:08:46):
The strings really good until it isn't.

Speaker 8 (01:08:51):
It's a lucky dip that I do not want to
be part of.

Speaker 7 (01:08:57):
The actually ever tried that a lease? I should feel
really not coordinated.

Speaker 2 (01:09:03):
It so well, we've got a special pack from the
Dagwood Dog Guy for you at least well done, thank
you very much. Four Dagwood dogs, four hot chips, four
cold cans, two novelty showbags and two small confectionery show bags.

Speaker 4 (01:09:17):
And you can catch the Dagwood Dog Guy.

Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
Evident Park is there right now through until August sixteenth.

Speaker 4 (01:09:22):
Am I Ori entry and.

Speaker 7 (01:09:24):
Saying when I say this that the party bags to me,
this is what I said to tea them. They make
me feel like you're saying thank you for the kids
coming to your your child party.

Speaker 4 (01:09:33):
Yes you are.

Speaker 3 (01:09:35):
It's like they wouldn't come with if there wasn't plus
over the present, and they're often so full of lollies.

Speaker 2 (01:09:41):
They've just had cake and whatever else at the part
of and you're going to here's more lollies for the car.

Speaker 7 (01:09:46):
I thought you uould be like a pinard, all right,
and then at the end you pick all the lollies
up wherever you get you keep your hand.

Speaker 3 (01:09:51):
You can't do that.

Speaker 4 (01:09:52):
I and that can be part of the party bag.

Speaker 3 (01:09:54):
No, no, that's the party bag.

Speaker 4 (01:09:55):
Well, if you don't show the kids what is in
the party bag and do that, potentially could be.

Speaker 3 (01:10:06):
I pick it up.

Speaker 4 (01:10:07):
Have you seen the animals though?

Speaker 2 (01:10:09):
That when when there's when those lollies drop at a
pinata and the kids are there, it's just like seagulls
on a chip.

Speaker 4 (01:10:14):
Is nothing?

Speaker 3 (01:10:15):
Those kids go wall scars. It's a good.

Speaker 5 (01:10:19):
Robin ki and coreotes in the morning with Robin Kipp
and Coreotes, it's the mystery.

Speaker 2 (01:10:28):
Hello there, mystery guest, Hello, Hello, Hello, A few voices
hang on, was there to sorry?

Speaker 4 (01:10:35):
How many people are are there too? Okay?

Speaker 3 (01:10:38):
He has a very deep voice.

Speaker 4 (01:10:44):
Who's the man and who's the woman?

Speaker 2 (01:10:48):
I'm going to guess your singers, judging by that voice,
are you singers?

Speaker 4 (01:10:53):
Yes, we are. What state are you originally from?

Speaker 3 (01:10:56):
Victoria? Very Deep?

Speaker 4 (01:11:01):
Kiss ninety seven three? Love these?

Speaker 2 (01:11:05):
Okay, let's just get a timeline. Did your big break
happen before or after? Social media was a thing before?

Speaker 4 (01:11:11):
Before? Okay?

Speaker 12 (01:11:12):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (01:11:13):
Is this bachelor girl?

Speaker 4 (01:11:18):
I thought I heard that?

Speaker 5 (01:11:20):
Tan and James.

Speaker 4 (01:11:21):
Yes, it was it the foghorn of mine that gave
it away. Yeah, it was your voice. Actually it was
welcome guys, thanks for.

Speaker 22 (01:11:31):
Joining us, Thanks for guessing right if luked it right?

Speaker 4 (01:11:35):
Yes, And one of our questions was you touring?

Speaker 14 (01:11:38):
So you are?

Speaker 4 (01:11:39):
What's happening?

Speaker 5 (01:11:40):
Funny that segway.

Speaker 22 (01:11:41):
We are touring because we are celebrating Waiting for the
Day Artist Sessions, which is a reducts or revamp of
our first record from the nineties, before the internet and
before social media.

Speaker 4 (01:11:55):
So have a listen to this lineup.

Speaker 1 (01:11:57):
Jessica, Mewboy, treat Me Good, Delta, goodroom, buses and trains
and guys, Sebastian, what's guy doing?

Speaker 5 (01:12:04):
Per Mission to Shine?

Speaker 22 (01:12:05):
By the way, we actually participate in these songs with
the artists, so cool, the duets and James's productions and
I you know he managed to squeeze my vocals in
there too.

Speaker 4 (01:12:16):
Oh Courtney Act, What does Courtney Act do? Which song
she's doing?

Speaker 3 (01:12:21):
Lucky me?

Speaker 19 (01:12:22):
The first line I've got an ex boyfriend who calls
me up to blameing for his life takes a new.

Speaker 1 (01:12:28):
Meaning with Yeah, it's kind of like the Ultimate Australian
Album is like you've got some of our best voices
with some of our most love songs.

Speaker 22 (01:12:38):
All Robin, thank you for coining it that way, because
we were starting to call it, you know, just in
our little camp, the Great Australian Experiment. How many artists
can we fit on our records? So it's fifteen artists
on fifteen songs. But yeah, we are coming your way guys. Yes,
and the Trifford August twenty three.

Speaker 4 (01:12:59):
Have you played the We have.

Speaker 22 (01:13:01):
We've played it with our mates Boon Crash Opera. This
time we headline it. We're all grown up now we.

Speaker 5 (01:13:07):
Can do our own show and it's a Sunday early evening.

Speaker 4 (01:13:11):
It's very respectable and friendly.

Speaker 3 (01:13:14):
Yeah, hey kid, that's us on the way back from
the bike ride.

Speaker 2 (01:13:18):
Yeah, we're doing a Brisbane to Gold Coast bike ride.
But yeah, we'll be ready for a couple of pinos.

Speaker 3 (01:13:27):
We're coming in.

Speaker 2 (01:13:28):
High perfect Robin Kidd and coreotes in the morning Batchelor
Girl our mystery guests this morning we worked out who
they are.

Speaker 4 (01:13:38):
Didn't take long. No, they're so awesome. Yeah, especially with
Tanya's voice.

Speaker 2 (01:13:42):
So we asked them when we chatted to the guys
to James, Tanya about the nineties, because we're doing nothing
but the nineties from nine o'clock this morning. In their
favorite memory from the nineties, well, it would probably be
no screens like pre iPhone. I reckon Civilization peaked the
day before I find.

Speaker 4 (01:14:04):
How crazy was your life in the nineties.

Speaker 22 (01:14:07):
Oh, it was pretty crazy, but I think you know,
I've got good Italian upbringing, so I didn't have a
chance to get kind of, you know, crazy. And they
sort of put me back in my place and said, listen,
you know, walk out a year with your without an
inflated ego. So you know, even if I'd go to
nightclubs and get recognized, it was I sort of deny

(01:14:27):
that I was that person, just so that my friends
didn't have to wait around for the carry on.

Speaker 7 (01:14:32):
I love asking musicians this like, are you so surprised
about how your songs from way back are still so
popular now?

Speaker 19 (01:14:40):
Well, it was a surprise for us when we got
together with the artists performing on this Artist Sessions record.

Speaker 3 (01:14:46):
What it meant to them.

Speaker 19 (01:14:47):
We reached out to Delta, for example, and she said, yeah,
I'll do that, and we got in the studio and
we were like fangirling on each other.

Speaker 5 (01:15:00):
James was particularly fangirly.

Speaker 4 (01:15:03):
No, I don't want to give you the wrong appreciate.

Speaker 1 (01:15:05):
It was the soundtrack of the nineties and two years.
You really are like buses and trains. Where did that
come from?

Speaker 19 (01:15:17):
A random idea from standing in the shower with my
brain empty, That's the truth. I was staying there in
the shower and I heard I walked under a bus
got hit by a train just out of nowhere, and
I thought that's pretty weird. I didn't think anything more
until later in the day. I got to keep falling

(01:15:39):
in love. It's kind of the same, And I knew
I had a song.

Speaker 3 (01:15:42):
How did you sell it to ten?

Speaker 19 (01:15:45):
I think I did a twelve, which is our band
like body Language. But I'm a bit nervous about playing something,
so do it twell? Get the nervousness out. And so
this is a bit of a strange song. I don't
know if it's good, if it's terrible.

Speaker 22 (01:16:02):
Well I looked at him and said, well, what are
you on right now? Because what is this bus and
train song? And yeah, I mean the crazy ideas are
often the ones that stick, because what I think James
is nailed is a universal concept said so differently, and
that's the great songwriter mission.

Speaker 4 (01:16:18):
Was there any part of you Tannua that thought were
you nude when you thought of a song?

Speaker 12 (01:16:22):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (01:16:22):
He was new and I was not there, So it's okay.
What about permission to shine?

Speaker 22 (01:16:30):
So Permission Shine was handed to us by Clive Davis,
the late great Clive you passed away. He signed Whitney
Houston and various other legends. So when Clive Davis hands
your tape a with a song, you better listen to
it because he is he has been known to be
the Golden Ears. And James and I looked at each
other a bit oddly, thinking, how are we going to

(01:16:51):
make this work? It will shine a little light on
the world. Is not something that James and I would
instinctively write. But you know, what do we know so
with our second the biggest, second, biggest song after Busses
and Trains, and very grateful to the song and that
it had an impact on so many people.

Speaker 2 (01:17:07):
Well it was ahead of its time because you know,
we're in an era now where it's all about self
belief and pumped yourself up and back then like you
were just saying, yeah, I'm going to give myself permission
to shine.

Speaker 4 (01:17:16):
I am going to be the best at this, and
that's okay.

Speaker 19 (01:17:19):
I've actually got an opposite view to that, because yeah,
because in this like side hustle, work really hard kind
of society, you actually need a hobby where you give
yourself permission to suck exactly.

Speaker 22 (01:17:34):
I also talked to young emerging artists or you know
people kids that are at say, listen, you don't get
to the shiny bit before you suck.

Speaker 4 (01:17:42):
Permission to suck and then shine.

Speaker 2 (01:17:44):
I mean, I'm just you know, I'm in the radio
for a long time and I'm just thinking that what
a great radio competition that would like just give yourself
permission to suck and.

Speaker 4 (01:17:53):
Yeah, we have an interval, make it intro, come on,
show us what you suck at. It's great doing this, Hey, guys,
that's tomorrow's segment.

Speaker 3 (01:18:06):
Listen, Can I ask you?

Speaker 4 (01:18:07):
But this is a cheeky favor, You're allowed to say no.
But is there any way that you could see.

Speaker 2 (01:18:12):
I'm gonna give myself permission to suck so I can
use for these competition next week.

Speaker 22 (01:18:17):
I'm gonna give myself permission to suck.

Speaker 4 (01:18:24):
It's gonna shop all night.

Speaker 3 (01:18:28):
Wanna turn.

Speaker 22 (01:18:29):
You're finally going to see me give myself permission to suck.

Speaker 5 (01:18:36):
I'm gonna light up the night, suck a little.

Speaker 4 (01:18:46):
That's why you are.

Speaker 3 (01:18:50):
Radios alands.

Speaker 4 (01:18:51):
Absolutely, you absolutely are alright.

Speaker 1 (01:18:54):
Thank you guys

Speaker 5 (01:18:58):
