Speaker 1 (00:00):
It's Rob and Kevin Corio. It's On Demand, the podcast.
Halfway through the podcast, let's discuss this weekend because there's
a lot happening.

Speaker 2 (00:06):
There is a lot happening. There's River Fire. There's Father's Day.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:10):
My boyfriend comes back from Belgium.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
Oh, from Belgium. How long has he been gone for?

Speaker 2 (00:14):
About two and a bit weeks.

Speaker 3 (00:16):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (00:16):
That's exciting.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
My sister's up from Sydney.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
For a whole week. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:20):
I reckon I'll last three days.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
All those worlds are colliding. That'll be fun.

Speaker 4 (00:23):
How awesome is that? All right, let's discuss it after.

Speaker 2 (00:25):
Now, I am notorious for dropping my phone. I do
it all the time. I keep looking for different cases.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
Because- More than just your phone. You drop everything.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
It just does my head in, but my phone in
particular because I break the protective screen on the front
of it.

Speaker 1 (00:42):
Oh, the little glass thing that's on the glass.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Like every week I do it, which means that I'm
not breaking my actual phone screen.

Speaker 5 (00:48):
True.

Speaker 2 (00:49):
And I'm trying to find a different case that will
protect it. But literally, the people, I go to Indooroopilly
to one of those phone places and they put a
new case on.

Speaker 5 (00:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (00:58):
And she knows me by name now because I'm there
so often.

Speaker 4 (01:01):
Hello, Robyn.

Speaker 2 (01:02):
I was there yesterday.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:04):
And someone came in with an iPad. I am not joking.
It would have been in a million pieces.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:12):
What, like shattered?

Speaker 2 (01:14):
The screen was shattered.

Speaker 6 (01:16):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:17):
And I said to this so much so that I
was like, dude, how do you actually function?

Speaker 5 (01:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:23):
And it's like, oh, I started to get chips in
my fingers.

Speaker 4 (01:25):
Oh.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
So now I've.

Speaker 4 (01:27):
Brought it in. Glass chips.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Glass chips into my fingers.

Speaker 7 (01:29):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
But up until then, this person had been using their iPad.
And I said, for how long? And they were like,
a year and a half.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
I can't stand it. I can't stand seeing a crack.
I've got to get it fixed.

Speaker 4 (01:43):
Really?

Speaker 3 (01:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (01:44):
No, see, I'm not that.

Speaker 3 (01:45):
Oh, no.

Speaker 8 (01:46):
I've actually, I leave screens. I remember not long ago,
I had a screen cracked for that long. I only
reminded myself of it when I was on the phone.

Speaker 4 (01:54):
And I'm like.

Speaker 7 (01:55):
Ow.

Speaker 1 (01:56):
You cut your own face.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
What was that? I was like, oh. Oh, shit, that's right. Okay.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
You've got shards in your face.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Okay.

Speaker 4 (02:02):
And then texting, like, yeah, you get stuff in your fingers.

Speaker 7 (02:04):
No.

Speaker 4 (02:05):
And then you start peeling it off.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
No.

Speaker 4 (02:07):
And then I'm like, oh, maybe I should get it changed.

Speaker 2 (02:10):
How long have you had a screen cracked for?

Speaker 3 (02:12):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
I mean, you've added bonus points if you did it creatively.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
I cracked it the other day.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Did you drop it?

Speaker 8 (02:19):
Well, funny story is I was changing my tire in
my car because I got a screw in it.

Speaker 6 (02:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (02:25):
And then as I'm doing it, I'm like, don't put
that on the, what is it, the sidestep on your car?

Speaker 4 (02:32):
Don't put it on the sidestep. Because if you open
the door, it's going to fall off.

Speaker 7 (02:34):
Yes.

Speaker 4 (02:34):
Put it on there.

Speaker 1 (02:35):
Of course you did.

Speaker 4 (02:36):
Five seconds later, I opened the door. Knocked it off.

Speaker 5 (02:38):
Knocked it off.

Speaker 1 (02:39):
And you had the thought, didn't you? I shouldn't put
it there.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
No, I knew not to put it there, but I
still put it there. And I opened the door.

Speaker 2 (02:45):
How long have your screen been cracked for?

Speaker 4 (02:48):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (02:49):
And how did you crack it?

Speaker 7 (02:50):
All right.

Speaker 1 (02:50):
We've got tickets to Resident Evil, the new one, which
is in cinemas. So, yes, tell us. Rewards for the
longest lasting cracked screen, 131065.

Speaker 7 (03:02):
Robin, Kip and Corey Oates in the morning.

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Now, we're talking about cracked screens on your phone or
your tablet. How long have you lasted?

Speaker 4 (03:09):
You don't like it at all.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
I can't stand it. Even like if I've got a
glass protective thing on, you know, which most of us
do these days, and that gets a crack, I need
to get that off almost immediately.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
So this little crack I've got now.

Speaker 2 (03:21):
Do you buy them off Timu? Do you get those things?

Speaker 3 (03:24):
Yeah, or online.

Speaker 4 (03:24):
I need to find some.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah, they're only like a couple of bucks each.

Speaker 4 (03:27):
On the bottom left?

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Because I'm spending way too much money taking it to
some kiosk. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (03:33):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
Because it drives me insane.

Speaker 9 (03:34):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
That costs a fortune when you get it. And, yeah,
I've gotten really good at it. I do the whole families.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Oh, okay. Well, I'll get some on Tim and you
can do mine.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Because I'm a weekly. My house is the shop at Carindale.
Everyone just comes and just drops them in. I go, yeah,
I'll have it ready for you in 10 minutes.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
Do you use the sticky tape to get the fluff
off the thing?

Speaker 4 (03:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:51):
The worst thing is if you get a little speck
of dust underneath.

Speaker 2 (03:54):
Yeah. Can't handle it.

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Can't stand it.

Speaker 1 (03:56):
No, fair enough.

Speaker 4 (03:56):
This bothers me because when you do it, we do
it properly, right?

Speaker 9 (03:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (03:59):
And Tina goes, I can't do it. Because you don't
follow the steps. Clean it. Unstick it. Yes. Use a
flippy thing.

Speaker 1 (04:06):
Yep. And you need your whole area to be sanitary
as well. So, you know, you have a kid running
in and throwing their bag down at the time. Oh, well,
the whole thing's shot.

Speaker 5 (04:14):
Gone.

Speaker 4 (04:14):
Breathe in.

Speaker 3 (04:15):
The dust.

Speaker 4 (04:16):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (04:16):
This is possibly why I haven't gone there. Catherine out
and under.

Speaker 7 (04:21):
Phone cracked.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
For how long? 18 months and it's still cracked.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Keep going.

Speaker 10 (04:27):
But it's not me doing it to my grandkids.

Speaker 6 (04:29):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (04:30):
See, yep.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
What, they keep dropping your phone?

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Yeah, they play the game and they must think it's
another game to drop my phone.

Speaker 2 (04:37):
Yeah, it's not great. Jodie out of Springfield.

Speaker 1 (04:42):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (04:43):
I don't know. Hi, Jodie.

Speaker 10 (04:46):
It's actually my 12-year-old son. About six months ago, I
saw him going to the toilet, and then I didn't
think anything about it, and then I heard this bang,
and he fell asleep on the toilet, dropped his phone,
and cracked the top half of his phone.

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Wait, he fell asleep on the toilet?

Speaker 10 (05:08):
Yeah, and he dropped his phone and the whole top
half is all cracked. But he's not getting a new
phone until next year when he goes to high school,
so he has to put up with it.

Speaker 5 (05:18):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 8 (05:18):
The actual screen itself is broken.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
And I bet he doesn't want to tell anyone how
he cracked it.

Speaker 9 (05:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (05:24):
How does he fall asleep?

Speaker 2 (05:27):
Yeah, how does he fall asleep on the toilet?

Speaker 3 (05:31):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:34):
The workings of a boy brain are beyond comprehension.

Speaker 1 (05:38):
I remember the bloke that came and did my concreting recently.
His phone, like, I've never seen anything like it. He's
got one of the most intense cases you've ever seen.
It's like it's– Right. And still he cracks them. He said, like,
every three months he's a new phone.

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yeah, that's me.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:55):
It's so irritating. Robert out of Rocklea.

Speaker 5 (05:58):
Good morning, guys.

Speaker 2 (05:59):
Hello.

Speaker 4 (06:00):
How long, mate?

Speaker 5 (06:01):
Well, my wedding anniversary is coming up this month, and
I think I cracked my iPad just before or just
after I got married.

Speaker 4 (06:14):
How long have you been married for? What anniversary is this?

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Um.

Speaker 5 (06:19):
I've been married for 13 years.

Speaker 7 (06:22):
No.

Speaker 8 (06:22):
Remember those little iPods that you got?

Speaker 4 (06:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (06:29):
Well, I've got that, and it still goes in my car,
and the only way I could use it is through
the screen on the actual car to play my music,
and it still goes today. It's got a big black
dot in the middle of it.

Speaker 1 (06:39):
It's got a black dot, so you can't see what's
on the screen. Oh, mate. Wow. Oh, you're winning, Robert.

Speaker 4 (06:46):
Yeah, 13 years.

Speaker 1 (06:48):
I mean, don't they run out of updates after all
those things?

Speaker 4 (06:51):
It's still working.

Speaker 5 (06:53):
It is. It's like if I was in my car,
I would be putting it down, and you could hear it.
I'm in the other table.

Speaker 1 (07:01):
Man, well done. We've got a double pass to Resident Evil,
a thrilling, terrifying new film. It's in cinemas September 17.
You can go for your anniversary, mate.

Speaker 9 (07:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
I can't believe you've still.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Got an iPod.

Speaker 1 (07:13):
I know. With a screen you can't read. Read.

Speaker 4 (07:17):
It's a nightmare.

Speaker 7 (07:19):
Robin, Kip and Corey Oates in the morning.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Robin, Kip and Corey's Worst of the Week. This is
when we take a look at some of the things
we maybe perhaps could have improved.

Speaker 3 (07:33):
Oh, yes.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
You know, there's always a moment.

Speaker 7 (07:36):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:36):
And we've all had one.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Yes, indeed.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
And actually, we're kicking off with you today, Rob.

Speaker 2 (07:40):
Oh, good. Excellent.

Speaker 1 (07:41):
Because we gave away tickets to the Dino movie with
Paw Patrol. Dino movie, and you had a moment.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
We've got Paw Patrol, the Dino movie, double passes to
give away.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
The Dino.

Speaker 2 (07:55):
Dino, Dino, why do I do that? They're spelt the same.

Speaker 1 (07:57):
They are, but one's a dinosaur.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
I know.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
That's not how my brain works.

Speaker 4 (08:02):
Wasn't there a dinosaur called Dino back in the day?

Speaker 1 (08:04):
Let's hope so. Do you know what happens?

Speaker 2 (08:06):
It's like when I look at a word as a dyslexic,
when I look at a word, it's like my brain goes,
associate it with something now.

Speaker 1 (08:13):
Yeah, right.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
And that's what it came up with.

Speaker 4 (08:15):
You went Dino.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
Just like your mate Dean.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
Dino!

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Well, you weren't alone, though, because we also had a competition, Uno,
for Bruno Mars, where we've got another double pass on
the show today to see Bruno Mars... I had a
little problem with that, though. But we have another double pass,
and Bruno's putting on another show as well. Bruno.

Speaker 5 (08:34):
Bruno.

Speaker 4 (08:35):
Not Bruno.

Speaker 1 (08:36):
We're doing Uno for Bruno, Bruno.

Speaker 5 (08:38):
What's going on?

Speaker 1 (08:41):
Oh, Bruno. And I think I had a world first.
Certainly it was a first for me in my career
where I managed to interrupt myself.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
That's a first.

Speaker 6 (08:49):
I managed to interrupt myself.

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Okay, now that's funny.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Spoke over an ad with me voicing it. I've never
heard it done before. Well done.

Speaker 4 (09:05):
Did you press play on the ad too? Oh, yeah,
that was me. As you were talking.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
Surely Corey's got to go.

Speaker 4 (09:12):
Well, actually, no. Perfect week for yours truly.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Somewhere he's got a clean slate, but Alana from the newsroom.

Speaker 4 (09:17):
Is that a race?

Speaker 1 (09:19):
No. Alana from the newsroom does have a crack.

Speaker 4 (09:22):
One of the hardest news stories.

Speaker 1 (09:24):
Don't push any buttons, Alana, because we need to talk
to you about the hardest bulletin you've ever read in
your life, which is that one. Because you've got a...
What's happening with your sneezing fit?

Speaker 2 (09:33):
I was having.

Speaker 9 (09:34):
If it sounded like I have a blocked nose, it's
because I was not breathing through my nose.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
That entire time. Because I just had a massive sneezing
fit right before I went live.

Speaker 9 (09:46):
I was so stressed out because that's never happened ever.

Speaker 4 (09:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 9 (09:50):
And I was muting it like I had little clips
and I have bits between them and I was muting
my mic and just like sorting myself out.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Because any type of nasal inhalation is a sneeze.

Speaker 9 (09:59):
Is it?

Speaker 2 (10:00):
Well, yeah. It's good now.

Speaker 9 (10:02):
But I was like, look, to be completely honest, I
was like muted my mic.

Speaker 2 (10:06):
I was like snorting. Whatever's going on.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
A nice little look behind the curtains for everyone there.

Speaker 9 (10:16):
There's always a lot going on in the newsroom when
the mics are off.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
You never know.

Speaker 2 (10:20):
We do love it, though, mate. Next time you're going
to snort on air, can you leave the mic on?

Speaker 5 (10:24):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (10:24):
I did not want that. That would be amazing.

Speaker 4 (10:27):
It would.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Just let us know.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Yeah, please.

Speaker 1 (10:30):
All right, we've got to get to news. When we
come back, we've got $ 1, 000 to give away with the
pop quiz.

Speaker 7 (10:34):
Rob and Kip and Corey Oates in the morning.

Speaker 1 (10:37):
So yesterday, well, actually today for a lot of parents,
it's a busy day. I know even for Claire, our producer,
her little girls had to come into the building because
it's pupil free day.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Yeah, that just does not help. No.

Speaker 5 (10:48):
No.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I mean, mind you, you could go away for Father's Day,
I guess.

Speaker 3 (10:51):
I guess.

Speaker 1 (10:52):
Yeah, if work allows it, you can do that. And
for yesterday, that meant that a lot of the Father's
Day things happened yesterday at school.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
And I have to thank Drew, our boss, who let
us pre-record the last hour of the show because, you know,
we go until 10. So we were able to record
a couple of the time machine breaks so that we
could be there because you needed to get to Monty.

Speaker 4 (11:12):
Yeah, well, I've never been.

Speaker 7 (11:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
And she's seven this year. So I just thought.

Speaker 8 (11:17):
I need to do it before it sort of gets
away from her.

Speaker 2 (11:21):
Before she stops caring.

Speaker 5 (11:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Because that is coming.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
I know. Or just as much, I guess.

Speaker 3 (11:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
And I've never been to any of Raf's Father's Day things.
And last year was the first time he was like,
where were you? Why couldn't you be there? So we
made a real effort of being at his school yesterday.
And I got there with literally four seconds to spare.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Well done.

Speaker 7 (11:43):
It was amazing.

Speaker 1 (11:44):
I walked in and the teacher's just gone, that was perfect.
And I sat down and then everything began. And that
was all the dads in a circle in his classroom.

Speaker 2 (11:51):
A true Kip Whiteman moment.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
It was incredible. It was unbelievable.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
I don't know how you pull this off, but in
your life, you do.

Speaker 1 (11:57):
And he was so happy. And like, you know, he's
seven and I don't know how many more years I'm
going to have that he's thrilled to see me and
so proud of me and things like that.

Speaker 5 (12:06):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (12:06):
I know it's going to end.

Speaker 1 (12:08):
And he sat back, you know, he just leant into
me and just was just like, he's so happy to
have me there. And then they did little songs. They
all sang these.

Speaker 2 (12:15):
So it was in the classroom, was it?

Speaker 4 (12:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (12:17):
Oh, wow.

Speaker 4 (12:18):
How intimate.

Speaker 1 (12:19):
It was really nice. They sang songs and they gave
us our little gifts. And they were actually really nice.
He'd done some really nice drawings. And, you know, I
look like a hamburger. My face is sort of cut
in half by a mustache, but I don't have a beard.
And here's a little drawing of himself. So you've got
me with a mustache head and a hamburger head. And

(12:41):
he's there, a tiny little version of himself, who's holding
a machine gun. and shooting Nerf.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
Pellets at my face. He goes, that's us, Dad. I
was like, all right, beautiful. What do you do with him?
What do you do with him?

Speaker 1 (12:54):
We've never played Nerf. I don't even know what he's, anyway.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
He's projecting.

Speaker 1 (12:58):
He is. That's obviously what he wants. And then they
went around the room and each kid said what makes
their dad funny. And the thing that they love about
their dad. And I actually got him– I wasn't recording that.
But then afterwards, I said, hey, I'll grab my phone.
And I said, oh, can you do your bit again?
I think he freestyled. He changed it a bit. But

(13:19):
this is basically what he had to say.

Speaker 6 (13:21):
My dad thinks he's funny because sometimes he forgets to
take me to my mum's when I'm supposed to go.
I love my dad because he thinks I'm funny.

Speaker 1 (13:36):
Is that true?

Speaker 6 (13:37):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (13:38):
His thing was like, yeah, what makes my dad funny
is that he always forgets where he's supposed to be
taking me.

Speaker 7 (13:42):
LAUGHTER It's true.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
It got a big laugh in the room.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
Oh, so the whole... All the dads were laughing.

Speaker 1 (13:50):
And he said to me laughing, he goes, why was
that so funny, Dad? And I said, because you just,
you spoke the truth.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
That's why. True words couldn't have been spoken.

Speaker 5 (13:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (13:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (13:58):
That is so funny.

Speaker 1 (13:59):
And I think he said what he loves, he loves
that I take him to jujitsu, which is, I don't know,
we do that every Saturday morning.

Speaker 4 (14:04):
Isn't that interesting?

Speaker 6 (14:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (14:05):
What they care about.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
The things that they care about.

Speaker 9 (14:07):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:08):
But doesn't he fall backwards and just let them... When?

Speaker 1 (14:11):
His jiu-jitsu is one of the funniest things you've ever seen.
He lies on the floor. You know, and they're both
supposed to– they're generally– like, they start on the floor normally,
and then they're supposed to snap up, and one's supposed
to jump on top, but he never snaps.

Speaker 4 (14:23):
He lies down the whole time.

Speaker 1 (14:24):
He's completely just ready. He's defeated before it begins.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Well, he doesn't want to get hurt.

Speaker 1 (14:30):
He doesn't.

Speaker 2 (14:30):
I mean, he's going to the end.

Speaker 1 (14:32):
And he has no interest in fighting. The other kid is, like,
literally grabbing his hands, trying to make him– Fight back.

Speaker 2 (14:38):
Does he still want to go, though?

Speaker 4 (14:40):
He loves it.

Speaker 2 (14:41):
And that is the one thing he wants to do.
He loves doing it with his dad.

Speaker 1 (14:43):
It's one of his favourite things.

Speaker 4 (14:44):
Oh, my goodness. It's puppeteering jiu-jitsu. He's lying down.

Speaker 1 (14:47):
He's basically lying down on the floor in pyjamas. He's corpsing.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
That's hilarious.

Speaker 4 (14:53):
He's a tough one to fight. He loves it, though. Yeah.
He loves it.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
He doesn't win, though, does he?

Speaker 1 (14:59):
He's gotten four stripes now. You know you get a
stripe as you progress?

Speaker 6 (15:03):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
For corpsing.

Speaker 2 (15:05):
For just lying there.

Speaker 1 (15:06):
I don't know how he's getting stripes.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
Oh, bless you, Raffy.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
And he's so proud when he gets a stripe. And
I sit there going, what did you get that for?
You've done nothing.

Speaker 7 (15:15):
Robin, Keith and Corey Oates in the morning.

Speaker 1 (15:17):
Halfway through the podcast. All right, let's start with that.
So Olivier is coming back from Belgium.

Speaker 9 (15:23):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Two and a half weeks.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
Yeah, he's gone. He went over to see his mom.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:26):
So he's coming back and that'll be, he comes back
after we get home from River Fire, I think.

Speaker 3 (15:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
He flies in at about 11 p.m.

Speaker 4 (15:34):
Oh, that night?

Speaker 2 (15:35):
Yeah, that night on Saturday night.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Are you airport pickup?

Speaker 2 (15:37):
No, I told him I possibly won't have the capacity
to drive.

Speaker 1 (15:41):
But you can.

Speaker 6 (15:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (15:43):
My sister's here. So she's coming out from Sydney. She's
part of the Brisbane, sorry, not Fashion Festival, the Brisbane Festival.
She's in the arts.

Speaker 1 (15:53):
You paused there. It sounded like she was part of
the business.

Speaker 4 (15:57):
It wasn't a.

Speaker 1 (15:57):
Good pause, Robin.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
It's just the way my brain works.

Speaker 1 (16:00):
I had to stop fashion. Just really embrace it.

Speaker 6 (16:03):
No.

Speaker 1 (16:03):
I'm doing that.

Speaker 2 (16:04):
And then on Sunday, I received a text from my
eldest son on Finn saying, picnic in New Farm Park, mum,
for Father's Day because you're as much as a father
as a mother. Bring an esky, everyone. So it's on
our family chat.

Speaker 3 (16:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (16:18):
Johnny Gio's Pizza is just down the road. So we'll
do pizza, have an esky.

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Oh, nice.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
And just enjoy Father's Day.

Speaker 4 (16:24):
How good's that?

Speaker 1 (16:25):
I'm a little concerned about the heat. It's supposed to
be 35 degrees. I don't know if you want to
be in a park.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
I don't know we do either. Oh, there'll be a
pub nearby.

Speaker 6 (16:33):
No.

Speaker 4 (16:33):
Keep those eskies.

Speaker 8 (16:34):
Heat doesn't mean no wind. If there's a slight breeze,
and I believe there's not much humidity.

Speaker 1 (16:38):
Might be right by the water.

Speaker 4 (16:39):
Slight breeze when it's hot. It's really nice.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Anyway, I'm not the dad's here.

Speaker 3 (16:43):
You are.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Well, you kind of are, you boys said.

Speaker 1 (16:45):
Yeah, that's true. But what are you doing? I still
haven't got a plan yet. Naomi asked me about it
last night, what I want to do. And we talked
about it. I saw this somewhere on my Insta. I
saw this place that does this awesome smoked meat and
steaks and things. I was like, oh, we should go there.
And then Naomi said, like, with the kids. And I went, oh, no.

Speaker 2 (17:03):
And is that Aidan, your father-in-law, and Paul, your dad?

Speaker 1 (17:07):
So dad, my dad won't be, he'll stay on the
sunny coast. But Aidan will probably come and do something
with us. And yeah, but yeah, we'll have to work
out something we can do with all the kids, which is.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
And something that no one else is doing?

Speaker 9 (17:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (17:21):
I would suggest a barbecue at home.

Speaker 1 (17:22):
Actually, we might just, yeah, maybe. We might go to
like a bowl. There's a bowls club up the road.
They say I should go to the bolo. And it's
always a bit of shade in the afternoon. Kids can
run around.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
How good are bowls clubs, eh? Yeah, I like that.
They're perfect.

Speaker 3 (17:34):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:34):
I think they've got a Thai restaurant attached to it.
So that'll do.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
You're sorted.

Speaker 5 (17:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
What are you doing?

Speaker 2 (17:39):
No idea.

Speaker 4 (17:39):
I'm probably digging holes. Why are you digging holes? My
brother-in-law needs help on Saturday afternoon. But I'm busy. To
dig a hole? Dig, yeah, four or five holes. Why?

Speaker 6 (17:51):
Hand?

Speaker 1 (17:51):
We're talking shovel?

Speaker 4 (17:52):
No, he's got a little auger, a little hand, but
it's just really rough stuff.

Speaker 1 (17:56):
Those augers, they look like a drill.

Speaker 4 (17:59):
A huge drill. He hasn't said. He just needs help
digging holes.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
Corey dug a hole.

Speaker 8 (18:05):
I'm free-ish Saturday afternoon, but not really. I've got a
fair bit on Saturday shopping-wise and going to watch some
of the.

Speaker 4 (18:11):
Neighbour's kids play some footy. Yep. Because Huxley loves it,
so we're going to take the kids. That's cool. And then.

Speaker 8 (18:18):
Yes, honestly, Sunday, I'm sure they'll have something organized, but
it doesn't bother me as long as I'm having.

Speaker 4 (18:23):
A good day.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
I'm more excited about Father's Day than you guys are.
I love just hanging out with my boys when they
actually want to.

Speaker 3 (18:30):
Yes.

Speaker 8 (18:31):
I hate it when it's all about me because then
everyone wants to talk to me and stuff and wants.

Speaker 4 (18:35):
To hang out.

Speaker 1 (18:36):
I'm looking forward to the day that it'll be nice
to go to a restaurant with the kids.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (18:41):
Because at the moment, it's just work.

Speaker 4 (18:43):
It is.

Speaker 2 (18:43):
It's like holidays.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
It's a working holiday. It's a working trip. I know.
We should be paid for it.

Speaker 1 (18:50):
They spill every drink.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
Can you just do me a favour? Just on Sunday,
try really hard to just be in the moment. Because,
you know, you work with me a lot.

Speaker 4 (19:00):
I do spend.

Speaker 2 (19:01):
Time reminiscing about those times. They go very quickly. I know.
And you'll never get them back.

Speaker 5 (19:08):
I know.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
You only have 18 summers with those kids.

Speaker 8 (19:12):
I know, but I just– 18, that's it.

Speaker 4 (19:14):
18 summers, yeah. I just want to play full-on tackle
footy and just bash him.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
Okay, well, do that.

Speaker 4 (19:18):
I just want to wait for him to be big
enough for that.

Speaker 1 (19:20):
Big enough for you to bash.

Speaker 2 (19:21):
Well, I reckon he'd probably give it a good crack now.

Speaker 4 (19:24):
It wouldn't last long. That's why I want to take
that time at the moment. That year I have, I
don't care.

Speaker 1 (19:29):
What's the crossover year going to be, you reckon, when
he's about 14?

Speaker 4 (19:31):
Probably. So you're not too old. I'll be 40 or something.
I'll be 40. I'll be 40.

Speaker 2 (19:37):
You're such a young dad.

Speaker 4 (19:39):
Yeah. I know, but I'll still be brittle.

Speaker 8 (19:40):
I won't be feeling 40.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
You're old with the body of a 90-year-old.

Speaker 1 (19:50):
Now, we've got Alana from the newsroom in the studio
because we went to the Milton Common on Tuesday, I
think it was, for lunch.

Speaker 3 (19:56):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (19:57):
Whole team was there and Alana was sitting with me
and Corey. You went there, Rob, and told us this story,
which made us both laugh so hard.

Speaker 9 (20:03):
Well, this is what's funny is because I said, guys,
this is going to be too much information, but I'm
just going to open up to you. And then the
conversation ended with them bursting into laughter. But I wanted
to ask Rob because it's like, am I allowed to
be offended by something that my partner did if, Technically,
I asked for it.

Speaker 2 (20:21):
And particularly, you've set the tone that these two found
it so hilarious.

Speaker 9 (20:24):
They thought it was hilarious.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
It was just nice because Jesse, your partner, this poor fool,
he thought he was doing the right thing.

Speaker 4 (20:31):
He's like one of the most genuine dudes I've ever met.

Speaker 2 (20:34):
So please tell.

Speaker 9 (20:36):
The disclaimer is we have a very loving relationship and
Jesse would never, ever, ever do anything to hurt my feelings.
So I've been on a bit of a health journey because–
And again, this is the opening up part. Like I've
gained a bit of weight over the past year. I
can't run as far as I used to. So I've
tried to really combat that at home. And I asked Jesse, like,

(20:58):
do these pants look tight on me? And just know
they literally physically are tight. And he's like, no, you
look beautiful. I was like, that's, that wasn't my question.
Do these pants look tight on me? He's like, no, no, hon,
you're beautiful. I was like, It's math. These pants do
not fit. The circumference has changed over the past year. Anyway,
and I had that moment of, wait, maybe we're being

(21:19):
a bit too body positive between us. And I love it.
And it comes from a place of love. But I said,
I think I need tough love. I think I need accountability.
I need an accountability partner. So I'm giving you permission to... Two,
call me out.

Speaker 4 (21:33):
But you said that I'll do the same for you.
Is that right?

Speaker 9 (21:35):
Yes, I was like, and we'll do the same because
he's the same. He wants to get back into running.
So I was like, do whatever you want. Make little insults, mate,
little niggles. If I pick up a snack, if I
say I don't want to go for a run, call
me out for it.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
Okay. Now, the thing that I love was he wouldn't
do it still.

Speaker 9 (21:51):
He didn't do it for the first week and I realised,
I'm like, am I just bullying you, hun?

Speaker 4 (21:55):
Hang on, hang on.

Speaker 1 (21:56):
I want to understand.

Speaker 2 (21:57):
Hang on, because I have not heard this story. I
want to understand how you wanted to be called out.
Like what did that mean?

Speaker 9 (22:03):
Well, I said, this is going to sound like cancelable,
but I was like, I just need like fat shaming.
Because genuinely, and for people who don't know me, like
I am bigger and I've gained like, to be really honest,
like over 10 kilos in the past 12 months.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
Wow.

Speaker 9 (22:19):
I am.

Speaker 1 (22:20):
Have you? I don't notice that at all.

Speaker 4 (22:21):
You don't notice it at all?

Speaker 9 (22:22):
Well, I'm like six foot tall, so it carries differently.
But like, and a weight is such a conversation that
brings up a lot of things for different people. So
I don't want anyone listening to, you know, be upset
by this, but this is a personal journey.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
And you are very body positive.

Speaker 7 (22:35):
I'm very body positive.

Speaker 9 (22:36):
And I was like, wait, maybe that I need someone
to just call me out.

Speaker 2 (22:40):
And I'm like, oh yeah, I'll think about it.

Speaker 9 (22:41):
Anyway, long story short, Jessie finally cracks after like a
week and a half and I'm sitting on the couch
and I'm just snacking and he said, do you want
to come for a run with me?

Speaker 2 (22:50):
And I said, no, I can't be bothered.

Speaker 9 (22:52):
And he goes, oh, my little hippo.

Speaker 4 (22:59):
Poor idiot.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Was that a term of endearment while trying to call
you out?

Speaker 9 (23:05):
Well, yeah, I think he kind of, that was his
attempt at.

Speaker 8 (23:08):
Was it because you started calling him little piggy?

Speaker 4 (23:11):
I did. You were trying so.

Speaker 8 (23:13):
Hard for him to do, like start calling you out.

Speaker 4 (23:15):
You've been calling him piggy all week.

Speaker 1 (23:16):
He's never done anything to you. He's finally gone, okay,
I'm going to do it. And he went with it.
And then I was like, okay, that's the line.

Speaker 2 (23:23):
Do you know what I mean?

Speaker 4 (23:24):
Too far. Too far.

Speaker 2 (23:25):
And I was like, okay, wait.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (23:27):
He's finally decided to have a go.

Speaker 2 (23:30):
So are you, like, for you, the word hippo was
the problem?

Speaker 9 (23:36):
Well, I just, like, why is he getting creative about it?

Speaker 2 (23:40):
So what you wanted was him to go, babe, we
had a deal. You know, you said you wanted me
to call you out, so I really think you should
get off the couch and run. It's the fact that
he added... A very large animal.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Creativity.

Speaker 2 (23:53):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
So you set the bar at Piggy and, you know,
a piggy's one thing and that's where you set the
bar to call him and then he's upped it to hippo,
which is an entirely different animal.

Speaker 4 (24:03):
I know.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
It's far more ginormous.

Speaker 4 (24:06):
They are powerful. You idiot. They're powerful animals.

Speaker 9 (24:11):
I do have the temperament.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Of a hippo. What does that mean? You lie in
wait and then you take something out? Don't effort me.

Speaker 3 (24:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
So have you had to say, Jessie, like, I need–
so what's the rule? Did you change the rules from there?

Speaker 9 (24:25):
We haven't really, but I just burst out into laughter
because he's never called me a name ever and I
just thought it was so funny. Also, he said it
like a pet name, like, oh.

Speaker 2 (24:37):
My little hippo. And you were genuinely offended?

Speaker 4 (24:40):
Well, that's the thing.

Speaker 9 (24:41):
I'm like, oh, I'm not– like I did ask for that.

Speaker 3 (24:44):
Did you go for a run?

Speaker 9 (24:45):
Well, I ran as far as I could, which is
not very far.

Speaker 7 (24:48):
I did. It worked.

Speaker 4 (24:50):
It worked.

Speaker 9 (24:50):
I needed the old school tough love accountability.

Speaker 2 (24:53):
Maybe you should put a list on the fridge of
okay terms.

Speaker 4 (24:57):
Okay insults.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Not okay.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
So we'll go with piggy, but hippo is way out
of the ballpark.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
Just like on the scale of fun to hurtful, hippo's hurtful,
piggy's fun.

Speaker 4 (25:09):
All right.

Speaker 2 (25:12):
But something crazy has happened this week and it's kind
of sprouted a bit of an idea. I'm not sure
what was in the water in Brisbane, but we were
hearing stories from people that I think are extraordinary. So
remember during the week we were talking about what have
you got stuck in your body?

Speaker 10 (25:30):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (25:30):
And Gerry called through with this about his son.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
So this happened to my nephew. So he actually inserted like,
you know, the seed, bean seed into his nose.

Speaker 2 (25:42):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
A bean seed.

Speaker 5 (25:44):
Oh, yeah.

Speaker 3 (25:45):
And we didn't realize like this for three, four days.
And he started crying with pain. And then we took
him to the hospital and they took the beans out,
which was sprouted.

Speaker 6 (25:55):
Oh!

Speaker 4 (25:56):
It's what?

Speaker 1 (25:57):
It's sprouted?

Speaker 5 (25:58):
No.

Speaker 3 (25:58):
Yeah, because it's obviously wet there and was the right temperature.

Speaker 1 (26:02):
And the right, you know. That's revolting. That's like a
horror movie.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
It's like, yeah, like, does that mean we have... Really
good soil?

Speaker 3 (26:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:12):
Inside our nose?

Speaker 1 (26:13):
Inside your nasal cavity is a wonderful gestation area for
a seed.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
But that wasn't the only great story this week. Of course,
we were talking about childbirth.

Speaker 7 (26:24):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (26:24):
And you were, you know, being flippant about it, Corey.
So I'm saying, okay, let us talk about the most
painful childbirth experiences that And Melissa called through and the
call went somewhere totally different.

Speaker 1 (26:37):
With my second baby, he was stuck in my pelvis.
They were talking about breaking my baby's shoulder on my pelvis.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
I was drug free because the epidural didn't work.

Speaker 7 (26:46):
It was horrendous. And then silly me went back and
had five more babies.

Speaker 1 (26:50):
But not all of these kids were biologically hers. She
became a surrogate.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
And we had a call from Leah, who then became
a parent because of Mel.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Melissa's changed your life, right?

Speaker 1 (27:01):
Oh, absolutely.

Speaker 9 (27:02):
She helped us complete our family when we didn't have
any other means to.

Speaker 5 (27:05):
No words could describe the gratefulness and the gratitude we
have for her.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
We ended up having a surrogate and then one of
the women who she was the intended surrogate for died.

Speaker 4 (27:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:17):
Leah was the intended parent.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
Intended parent.

Speaker 2 (27:19):
She's now the parent. In fact, it's the terminology.

Speaker 1 (27:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:22):
But it's kind of got us thinking that we love
your crazy stories.

Speaker 6 (27:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
And we want to find some more of those from
Brisbane and we'll pay you for them.

Speaker 5 (27:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (27:32):
I don't know if there's any watermelons growing in someone's
ears or noses or something.

Speaker 2 (27:35):
Well, it can be about anything.

Speaker 4 (27:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:38):
Any amazing story.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
Anything that's about your family, a family secret that you've
never shared that will absolutely shock anyone who hears it.

Speaker 4 (27:46):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
And to incentivise you a little bit, we've got some cash.

Speaker 5 (27:50):
Oh, yes.

Speaker 1 (27:51):
We've got up to $ 500 per story. So just tell
us about your story. Don't get bogged down with that
it needs to be fruit growing out of an orifice.

Speaker 2 (27:58):
No, no, no, no. It can be about anything. It
can be like, you know, like being able to talk
to a surrogate was extraordinary.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
Yeah, wasn't it?

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Like imagine that. Her story's still, Mel's story's still like
going through the pain of of a childbirth that isn't
working correctly because the baby's upside down, all those things,
and then to go, I'm going to go five more
rounds of that.

Speaker 5 (28:17):
I know.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
Incredible.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
And three for other people. For other people.

Speaker 2 (28:20):
Yeah, where you don't get any money.

Speaker 5 (28:22):
No.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
So they're the kind of crazy stories.

Speaker 2 (28:25):
So if you've got this amazing crazy story and you think, hey,
I could use a bit of cash.

Speaker 7 (28:29):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
Then please go to our website. We want to hear
about it. We'll do it all next week.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (28:33):
So kiss973. com. au.

Speaker 4 (28:36):
Head there now.

Speaker 1 (28:37):
Tell us a little bit of your story and we'll
get you on air next week. So yesterday, for the
last hour of the show, we actually were able to
pre-record a couple of breaks because you and I, Corey,
both needed to run out the door for our kids'
Father's Day school presentations because Monty's year two.

Speaker 4 (28:57):
Yeah, she's year two.

Speaker 1 (28:58):
And Ravi's year one, yeah.

Speaker 8 (28:59):
And I've never been able to go to one, footy,
and then obviously here, it's hard.

Speaker 6 (29:04):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:04):
So I was able to go yesterday.

Speaker 8 (29:07):
I got there yesterday. I think quarter to, I think
I got there in time, just in time to actually
get to enjoy it a little bit. And yeah, she
actually had no idea.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
So Tegan sort of didn't say anything either.

Speaker 1 (29:21):
Oh, so it was a surprise.

Speaker 10 (29:22):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Oh, great.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
And it was funny because I rocked up.

Speaker 8 (29:25):
There's no parks, cars everywhere. Then Monty's on the side
of the road and she's a big smile on her face.

Speaker 4 (29:31):
But then the lollipop.

Speaker 8 (29:31):
Lady's at the bottom and Tegan's like, they'll be off
you for the way you were just driving.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
I said, I wasn't going fast. Like, no way, I
was not going fast. She goes, yeah, but you just
didn't indicate or anything. I said, well, I want to
get here. I don't want to miss it. So yeah,
we got in there.

Speaker 8 (29:46):
And it was very different to yours. It was just
a bit of like the kids here to show you everything.

Speaker 2 (29:51):
If you missed Kips, you sat in a circle in
the classroom.

Speaker 1 (29:54):
Yeah, I think there was only maybe 25 dads and
their kids.

Speaker 2 (29:57):
Man, the odd one out would have been bad.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
There was one mum there. And that would have been
last year because I couldn't make it last year. So, yeah,
I was so glad I made it.

Speaker 4 (30:07):
It makes you feel bad because I think all the
rest of them, they had their dads. Well, you made
it though.

Speaker 2 (30:11):
You did it.

Speaker 4 (30:11):
It was normally.

Speaker 8 (30:12):
Granddad that used to fill in for me. Um, but yeah,
so I made it and we're sitting down going through everything.
She gives him the presents and, and goes through the classroom,
what they do. And you just sit there and then
actually just sort of ask him what they do. And
this is their desk and this was in my desk.
And I, um, I said to her, I'm like, I
don't need, you know, can you explain to me what
all the gifts are? And so, yeah, so I got

(30:34):
a little bit of recording of Monty Garland.

Speaker 4 (30:35):
Through the GIFs and why she did it.

Speaker 7 (30:37):
What did you get, Dad?

Speaker 6 (30:39):
I got him a key ring with me on it
and I'm doing a love heart, a coffee holder.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
What's the coffee holder say?

Speaker 6 (30:48):
Number one best dad.

Speaker 5 (30:51):
Ever.

Speaker 4 (30:51):
Best dad ever.

Speaker 6 (30:55):
And I also got him a car.

Speaker 4 (30:57):
And it was a good surprise, wasn't it?

Speaker 9 (30:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:59):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:00):
You say thank you to who?

Speaker 6 (31:02):
Thank you, Dad's boss.

Speaker 4 (31:06):
That's it.

Speaker 7 (31:08):
Thank you, Drew.

Speaker 1 (31:09):
Thanks, Drew, for letting us get away early. So that
coffee holder's a coaster.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Yeah, it's really cool.

Speaker 4 (31:15):
It's a coaster.

Speaker 2 (31:15):
Do you know what's funny about that particular thank you, Drew? Hey, Drew,
did you remember you had Father's Day yesterday?

Speaker 1 (31:22):
Until about, yes, I did, an hour after it finished.

Speaker 2 (31:25):
Anyway, let's go back to the lovely thing.

Speaker 1 (31:29):
Drew's got a kid the same age as ours.

Speaker 4 (31:31):
I know, I know. And I said it, are you sure?

Speaker 1 (31:34):
In the middle of the frantic action of us getting
out the door, did you not think for a second,
where should I be right now? No, and then she
cried herself to sleep last night, but you're welcome.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Okay, let's go back to something lovely.

Speaker 4 (31:47):
This is the part I love. So you know how
they do it all about your dad?

Speaker 2 (31:50):
Okay, I want you to read it.

Speaker 8 (31:52):
Yeah, so my dad's name is Corey. He's 31, so
she started off nailing everything.

Speaker 5 (31:58):
Perfect.

Speaker 4 (31:58):
He is 13.3 metres tall. A little off, yeah. And
weighs 40 kilograms. Oh, bless. In his right leg. He
is so strong he could lift a big pot. Okay.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
Yep.

Speaker 4 (32:10):
That's true, I guess. He always says, I love you,
which I do. He is good at gardening. Yes. His
job is to cook pork.

Speaker 8 (32:22):
And he laughs when I tickle him and then she says,
I love him because he plays with us.

Speaker 1 (32:27):
Do you cook pork often?

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Can you just read the other little bit? What's it
say on the side there?

Speaker 4 (32:34):
Happy Father's Day, Dad. I love you. Love, Monty.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
And then she drew a little picture.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
She's got a love heart. She loves it like.

Speaker 8 (32:40):
I can have a go at this handwriting on a
card that she sent Happy Father's Day to.

Speaker 4 (32:43):
She wrote this whole card herself.

Speaker 1 (32:45):
Okay, read it.

Speaker 2 (32:45):
Read it for me.

Speaker 1 (32:46):
Significantly better than yours.

Speaker 4 (32:47):
I wasn't going to say that. Dear Dad, Happy Father's Day.
I hope you have a fabulous day.

Speaker 8 (32:54):
Thank you for making the best food, tickling me and
making me laugh and playing with me.

Speaker 4 (32:59):
Love from Monty.

Speaker 5 (33:00):
I love you.

Speaker 4 (33:02):
Like, honestly, her handwriting is.

Speaker 1 (33:03):
It's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (33:04):
It's insanely better than mine.

Speaker 1 (33:05):
What pork are you cooking? I'm just really torn on
this pork thing. Have you ever cooked pork.

Speaker 4 (33:09):
In your life?

Speaker 2 (33:10):
Did you not see how I tried to revoke the
conversation back to an emotional Father's Day moment?

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Because I could see your face. You've never brought pork
in here.

Speaker 2 (33:20):
Are you smoking it?

Speaker 4 (33:23):
What are you doing?
