Speaker 1 (00:00):
Robin Kit in the morning.

Speaker 2 (00:03):
We haven't much talked about the fact that you're this
hot week in the state of moving.

Speaker 3 (00:08):
Yeah, it's manic at the moment. So we've got all
purpose removals booked in Friday morning, so I'm not going
to be I'll be here doing the show. Actually, know
how surprised we'll be out and about with Magic Round.
I'm not even gonna be here. So it's just it's madness.
And then so Naomi's taking care of all of that
as we move. We're only like a couple of suburbs over.

(00:31):
It's only a ten minute move, but it's still massive.

Speaker 4 (00:33):
You cannot watch football this weekend. You've got to be joking.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
I don't care if it's magic I'm moving a house.
Are you joking?

Speaker 3 (00:42):
We've got Magic Round on Saturday.

Speaker 4 (00:44):
Yeah, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Sunday.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I'm gonna not watch football Saturday. Is there the Saturday
game Saturday? Yeah, But Naomi's coming with me. That's how
I got away with. Oh my goodness.

Speaker 2 (00:57):
Anyway, that's not what I want to talk about. So
you know, while the songs and stuff have been on,
we've been having lots of chats about kip stress levels
over moving house.

Speaker 4 (01:05):
And you just casually mentioned that Naomi was cleaning out
a draw.

Speaker 3 (01:12):
Yes, so what's actually underneath the kitchen cover. We've got
like underneath the kitchen bench, that's where we keep all
the wrapping the bedroom. No, it's not the room. The
wrapping and the sensored candles and you know, gift packs
and things whatever, and sometimes cards.

Speaker 4 (01:31):
And what did she find.

Speaker 3 (01:32):
She found a bunch of cards that I had written
to my now x Amber, the.

Speaker 4 (01:39):
Mother of Raffie who was did live in that house.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
And a couple of nice couple photos.

Speaker 4 (01:46):
So what did you write in the cards?

Speaker 3 (01:49):
I didn't read it. I don't darling Amber writing cards.
It'd be pretty good. It would have been loving, it
would have been romance.

Speaker 2 (01:57):
You're the greatest thing that ever happened to me.

Speaker 3 (02:00):
Stuff like that, And can't believe how lucky I am.
All that crap. And then and Knowaomi read the cars.

Speaker 4 (02:08):
Well, of course she did every single one of them four.

Speaker 3 (02:11):
Times and said do you you want to keep these?
Just held them up.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
Did you see her finding them?

Speaker 3 (02:22):
Did you see I didn't realize it was happening because
you was just quiet over at the kitchen bench.

Speaker 4 (02:27):
I've gone cold just thinking about that.

Speaker 3 (02:29):
But you know what, this is why she's the best.
So she was like, you know what, that's in your
that's in your past. And she goes, and I love
my cards that I get from you way better than this,
Like she goes, you've improved.

Speaker 4 (02:40):
I love that she became competitive.

Speaker 3 (02:42):
Well done.

Speaker 4 (02:43):
Yeah, that's the girl code.

Speaker 5 (02:46):
You do, understand. If they were better that you were starting,
I'd be on the streets. You'd be yeah, you'd be living.
You wouldn't even leave with me, actually, because taking like something.

Speaker 4 (02:56):
And you sard that, so you have nothing from an ex.

Speaker 5 (03:00):
No teaking blows up when I don't have a card
that she's written.

Speaker 4 (03:05):
So you must keep hers fair.

Speaker 2 (03:07):
She must get rid of okay, and you must get
rid of everything that ever reflected on your past.

Speaker 5 (03:13):
Oh oh yeah, she even she I remember when we
moved the house actually, and she goes, you used to
got this old thing and it was one of my
old going out shirts that I get for a long time.

Speaker 4 (03:25):
And it was funny, he's lucky shirts.

Speaker 5 (03:28):
Look, I used to wear those shirts. Is on cycle
And she goes, I remember what you wearing this like
five times when i've seen you out. I'm like, yep.
And it's funny because everyone else remembered all those shirts too,
because it's all I had. I had five shirts going
out shirts at me going out kit, and.

Speaker 3 (03:45):
She threw all of that. You're not going down at all,
she goes because I don't have to know more.

Speaker 2 (03:51):
I was like, I'm not a jealous person, but I
just don't like it. It would upset me a lot rationally.
And I do understand with people who have kids, and
if you've got kids with your ex, yes you have
to stay in contact. But there's a line and those
cards have crossed it.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
No, No, the cards were not ideal that I thought.
I threw everything out, you know, I went through.

Speaker 5 (04:18):
It just forgotten.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
I just forgot. Yeah, well they weren't important to me anymore.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
This is the problem it's always about.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
You know.

Speaker 5 (04:27):
It's funny too, if we if I found something in reverse,
whatever I've tea, I've just rolled it out, I wouldn't
give a flying rats.

Speaker 3 (04:39):
So you've never have you ever found anything anything of
exces and no photos of X's.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Or anything see at thirteen one six five.

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Because is it okay for your partner to be in
contact with their at their ex and I understand about
the kid thing, and you know, if you negotiate that differently,
please give us a call.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
But how would you go in reverse?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Because if Naomi's ex husband you found beautiful cards written.

Speaker 3 (05:04):
To her love letters?

Speaker 5 (05:06):
Yeah, was he a specimen?

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yeah, he was good looking. I think it was all right. Yeah.
Oh and actually, well if it was the same, it'd
be letters that she'd written to him that she Yeah,
oh that would be hard to read actually hearing that's
why you read it. Yeah, No, I wouldn't read it. Actually,
you're right. I'd see the start and I'd go that's
not for me. Oh really, yeah, I don't need to

(05:29):
know that.

Speaker 4 (05:29):
I'd rather give it twenty four hours. You'll know him
off by heart.

Speaker 5 (05:35):
You burn Robin, Kip and Corey.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
In the morning.

Speaker 3 (05:42):
Yeah, been friends with X's. Cory's got a story about
a photo he found of one of Tea.

Speaker 5 (05:50):
I've got a better just a quick one. I remember
when and I started first getting serious, and she when
she moved into my first house, when he creaked, she's
cleaning the house.

Speaker 3 (06:00):
And under the bed, Oh no, what do you find?

Speaker 5 (06:02):
It wasn't underwear, but it was like a lot of
like lipstick and flips and stuff just.

Speaker 3 (06:08):
Like Lady related on.

Speaker 5 (06:10):
And there's a lot of junk under there from about
four years of it. But I'm like, I've never looked
under this bed.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
So in my visual for that is every like a
Saturday night, a new chick with a new list.

Speaker 3 (06:21):
The more colors.

Speaker 4 (06:24):
Different to make myself look good, chuck it.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Under the bed, and what type of woman wears this color?

Speaker 6 (06:31):
Red?

Speaker 5 (06:33):
Is a cheap product?

Speaker 3 (06:37):
It was comparing, Yeah, Robin Kith and coreotes in exes
and what are you supposed to keep or throw out?
Have you found anything that that your current partner has
kept from their ex because unfortunately I didn't. I wasn't
keeping it for sentimental value. But know me cleaning out

(06:59):
our house as we were moving, found all these letters
that I've written to my ex wife.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
So have they gone in the bin now?

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Yes? I think some like for some photos because there
was some photos with Raff and stuff. Obviously we've got
a kid together, so we've got to be friends, so
so that stuff got packed.

Speaker 4 (07:16):
Can you guys do an extraordinary job of your co parenting.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
I say that all the time. You two are the
posted children for it. But you also have to like
your girlfriend is the kindest, most forgiving.

Speaker 3 (07:29):
Yep, like she is. She didn't get out. She was fine.
She read read the old cards and whatever. I said, Oh,
that's all right, my cards are better. She's fine. You know,
she knows I'm solid. I'm on gun anywhere.

Speaker 4 (07:41):
That ringing, what is that on my finger?

Speaker 3 (07:47):
Just relaxed, we're talking. That's another topic for another day.
Adele at another day, Adele good, So what do you
think about ben friends with the ex?

Speaker 6 (07:58):
Well, we did parent because we had children on either side.
But I've got a second part to this because my
partner and i'd been together for ten years and we're
in the same house, and we were moving and so
I was doing what your girlfriend was doing here and
doing the clean out, and I found like a massaging

(08:18):
tool in the box, and I just I just kept
it quiet. And then I said to him, do you
remember something that could be in your proper that's got
com webs on? And he just it looks at me
and I said, oh, by the way, I didn't realize
you keep massaging tools for ten years. I've never left

(08:44):
it down.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
That's why the ex.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
Massagic tool.

Speaker 4 (08:52):
Darrel at a Cannon Hill, go on, there you go.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Actually, what was actually just said was very similar to
the topic I was going to mention. Anyway, It purely
depends on the situation in a lot of regards, because
in your in your say, in your case Kit, I mean,
you've had a child, so it's you need to keep
it civil between you yourself and your previous X. But
if you've got nothing in between, you know, no kids

(09:17):
or anything, then I just reckon, just cut them off completely.
It is.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
Yeah, when you hear about people that don't have that
tie and they remain close friends, you're like, well, hang on,
well why did you break up? Like what? Yeah?

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, I do have one quick thing for Corey. It's
just it's slightly off topic. It's just in regards to
this magic Rand issue. Yeah, I tried to get through
the other day, but I couldn't. I do actually have
another solution, but it's going to be too late now
because it's on short notice. With the fact that you
guys are in radio, you could have got a hold
of Kylie Minogue and you could have made a giant

(09:48):
congo line and have everybody seeing locomotion well.

Speaker 4 (09:51):
Getting themselves to the ground. This is crazy.

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Yeah, because the train thing is still large. We're still
You're still going to be reduced services for Magic Ground.
It's going to be a debacle.

Speaker 2 (10:05):
Do you know how in primary schools they do the
walking bus? Yes, we could start from Winnham, Ipswich.

Speaker 4 (10:13):
Joined the Congo, join.

Speaker 5 (10:15):
The got we got one more, we got Kelly. Good
morning guys.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
I go on cruises every time with my ex and
let my husband at home.

Speaker 4 (10:25):
You don't, I do.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
We went on a Lesker cruise last year and none
of the Americans could understand that he was my mate,
not my husband.

Speaker 1 (10:33):
What are you?

Speaker 3 (10:34):
Separate rooms?

Speaker 1 (10:36):
Same room?

Speaker 3 (10:37):
You can't stay in the same room.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Why would you do that?

Speaker 1 (10:40):
Not?

Speaker 2 (10:41):
And why would your current partner be okay with it?

Speaker 1 (10:44):
Because he trusts me and he knows I love him
and would never do anything vice versa.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
On trust a lot of trust.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
Well, then why did you break up with your ex
if you're still so friendly? Let's just say there was
kids involved and not ours.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
Ah, what do you mean better off friends than we are?

Speaker 5 (11:02):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (11:03):
I'm assuming you don't get the drinks package when you're
on the cruise. We do what so you get you
get blind? You go down to your room, in the
same bed with that man, and nothing.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Happens, nothing at all.

Speaker 2 (11:16):
We cance a lot, he gambles, We have a great time.

Speaker 3 (11:19):
Wow, we have a great job.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
Is there ever a point where you think, oh, I
made a mistake. I should go back with him?

Speaker 3 (11:28):
No better off friends. I really lay my lame he
down to just I mean, what if, what if there's
seas and one of your rolls on top of the
other one. Still nothing.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
You'll never do that.

Speaker 5 (11:40):
He's too little, Robin.

Speaker 3 (11:47):
And in the morning
