Speaker 4 (00:59):
It's only like a foot off the ground and it's
already wobbling on what's it going to be like when
it's twenty meters up?

Is Kip frowing to be met? Hat?

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Yeah, okay, let's play a couple of songs. We'll get
in this cherry picker, get harnessed up. When we come back,

This cherry picker on Kiss ninety seven.

Three Robin Ki and in the morning we're.

Speaker 2 (02:24):

Speaker 3 (03:37):
What do you mean we haven't even left the ground.

Speaker 4 (03:39):
It goes against all of my rules in life, which is,
never do something that requires a safety harness. If you've
got to put on a harness, don't do it. What
are you doing it for?

Speaker 3 (03:48):
Hey, stay on the ground, stay somewhere extra safety.

Speaker 7 (03:51):
We are now behind the billboard. We are all harnessed up.
We are in order of the billboard.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
So we are going up. Are you ready? You're holding one.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
You can really hear the little hydraulic motor on the
cherry picking.

Speaker 11 (04:08):
Out there.

Speaker 3 (04:10):
Well, I thought it was electric. I thought it would
be smooth.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
You don't do electric electric, don't don't rock seriously, but Olivia,
back on and get me.

Speaker 8 (04:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (04:45):
Wow, hello, we go okay, well, how good?

Speaker 1 (04:53):
Is this?

Speaker 2 (04:53):

Speaker 3 (04:54):
Actually? This is awesome the races.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
We're up here for four hours.

Speaker 4 (04:58):
My friend, hang on, is this this swinging that we're
doing now?

Speaker 2 (05:01):
Is this like?

Speaker 4 (05:02):
Is he doing that on purpose? The crane guy? Is
this just how it swings? I watched the cricket up.
That's stelling boredom. We're still going, We're still going up.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Wow, a top the billboard. We're up. How can this
thing go? Let's not find out?

Speaker 2 (05:47):
What is it?

Speaker 3 (05:48):
Cash or crash?

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Thank you, Cory.

Speaker 4 (05:49):

Speaker 7 (06:31):
Well he's been done again two days ago in Vegas. Yeah,
he's done, duy And he's also been charged with a

you read the traffic report because they're saying he couldn't
stay in a lane.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
Oh that's the thing, Like you don't get there's no
random breath testing in the States. You only get pulled
over to get tested if you're driving like a drunk person.

Speaker 3 (06:53):
He must have been with el sister. Couldn't stay the should.

Speaker 2 (06:57):
Stay out of Vegas. He's not made for No, he's
really not. Some people just aren't. It's one of those.

Speaker 7 (07:04):
Prince William has been barred from riding an East scooter
on the grounds of his forever home, which, of course
his Windsor Castle. He has been seen riding the east
scooter a lot. Whenever they've done sort of documentaries and stuff,
there's William buzzing around. Apparently Kate's had enough. Oh come on, well,
he's going to be the future king.

Speaker 2 (07:22):
Mate, I don't have an e scooter.

Speaker 13 (07:23):
Aroundund too fast. But if you're like you're on the Prince,
I could do want to wander. It can't be a
normal man.

Speaker 7 (07:33):
Says no, and she has and Cardi b Look, this
woman is making gazillion dollars from her music, but she
once did one night of stripping in her early career
and scored herself fifteen thousand dollars ten minutes.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
What so that just means she was hot before she
was hot, So she doesn't do it anymore. No, mate,
she does rap about it though.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
You know, I used to be dancing for dollars and
she said that's a lot in her lyrics.

Speaker 2 (08:04):
I don't think that's gonna work for Corey.

Speaker 13 (08:05):
I don't think ten minutes that's not a bad feel
a bad earth.

Speaker 2 (08:10):
Would you do it?

Speaker 4 (08:11):
You do that fifteen for ten minutes.

Speaker 3 (08:15):
I'd maybe make five.

Speaker 2 (08:16):
Yeah, possibly make that happen.

Speaker 3 (08:19):
I'm pretty sure.

Speaker 4 (08:20):
I mean the way that you like to get your
kid off with the snickers.

Speaker 6 (08:24):
Hey, I let myself go the holidays and.

Speaker 4 (08:28):
Let's see, let's not rule it out this year. I
have not we have out motivated. Yeah, you know, if
you're going to strip off, I mean you know, we'll
give you a bit of cash.

Speaker 2 (08:38):
I don't scrap something together.

Speaker 4 (08:39):
We'll put a hand around the office so we can
get it.

Speaker 3 (08:42):
Might just be stuff from the snack jar. I'll take
I'll take anything.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
Well, now, if you've just joined us halfway through this

Nicole of Westlake. How much have you missed me?

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Oh?

Speaker 11 (09:57):
My god, more than you would understand. My daughter is
the biggest fan. She cried her little heart out when
you guys went off air. She cried when you guys
came back on air. She set my alarms for five
forty five this morning because she wanted to hear your
first words and made her I'm so happy.

Speaker 2 (10:18):
What's her name?

Speaker 4 (10:19):
A Mayo?

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Ma, well, a mayor.

Speaker 7 (10:23):
Thank you so much for your love and dedication and
right back at you.

It's nice to be back. It's really great.

Speaker 3 (10:37):
I've missed you guys, and I.

Speaker 7 (10:39):
Do think at some point this morning we need to
address the kind of theory that this was all a
prank a published.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
No, it really wasn't, but let's talk about that a
little later.

Speaker 4 (10:50):
Yeah, and we have had a bunch of messages come
through on the on the text line and also on
our old video messages over the last few weeks, So
let's have a couple of.

Speaker 14 (11:01):
Those, guys.

Speaker 5 (11:04):
So glad to have you guys back. I really do
miss Corey's thoughts on the right on and I'm waiting
for Robin's book to come out.

Speaker 11 (11:12):
Welcome back, Robin, Kip and Corey. You're certainly the terrific
trio that we've all been wanting to listen to.

Speaker 5 (11:20):
So really excited that you're back on the air.

Speaker 4 (11:23):
And if you get on air with us today, you
are in the running for those edge here and tickets.
So thirteen one oh sixty five.

Speaker 8 (11:29):
Robin Kipp and coriots in the lining.

Speaker 4 (11:31):
It's Robin Kipp and Corio. It's back for twenty twenty six.
We're broadcasting live from on top of the iconic Goer billboard,
which is on Abbotsford Road and Bowen Hills. We're taking
the show to New Heights this year.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
But also that billboard features us, yeah, saying we're back.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
Yeah, we're even standing at our proper positions on the billboard.
I believe I can't see the billboard from here because
we're above it. Yeah, which I don't think was part
of the deal. Why were supposed to be next to it?

Speaker 2 (11:55):
No, well go next to it? Thank You's traffic, that's
just that's just dangerous.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
This feels angels.

Speaker 3 (12:00):
Why are you safer?

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Because if it drop would drop on top of our billboard.

Speaker 7 (12:03):
Kip likes to pretend he's very tough and then he's
like a sulky la la, so we are getting the
real kid, Whiteman.

Speaker 2 (12:10):
Well, go from silk to mad.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
So just just be aware how far off mad?

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah?

Speaker 4 (12:15):
Well you shaking this one more time? It moves too much.
Now we have a very special guest on the phone.
We have shrin Dog, the Lord Mayor joining us.

Speaker 10 (12:27):
Welcome, welcome back, guys. Hey, it's awesome to have you
guys back. And look you can have that billboard thing
on your own.

Speaker 2 (12:37):
It's I'm feeling your kip.

Speaker 5 (12:39):
I'm feeling you ki.

Speaker 3 (12:40):
Thank you now.

Speaker 4 (12:41):
But now haven't you've got like you've got a history
because shrin Dog. Of course, the nickname I give you
was your old Air Force name, wasn't it.

Speaker 10 (12:50):
Well yeah, yeah, that's where it came from, join the
Air Force when school and so yes, shrind Dog was
the name that start.

Speaker 2 (12:57):
So how can you be scared of.

Speaker 15 (13:02):
Really high?

Speaker 10 (13:03):
It's not a problem, but you know that a cherry picker.

Speaker 4 (13:07):
I don't trust those things.

Speaker 3 (13:08):
Yeah, no, I understand that.

Speaker 4 (13:10):
So I'm fine in a plane just so far up
you can't see down, but here you can actually see
your impending death.

Speaker 6 (13:15):
Have you got any stats on why don't trust the
joy picker?

Speaker 5 (13:20):
I've occasionally been up in a cherry picker.

Speaker 4 (13:22):
Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 10 (13:23):
It's I think it's an operator era's operator error that
I'm worried about.

Speaker 7 (13:28):
Yeah, so fine, Look, while we've got your Lord mayor,
it would be a very remiss of us not to
ask what's happening with the Olympics, and we dug any
holes yet.

Speaker 10 (13:36):
Oh, look, this is the year where things really kick off,
and I know it's something everyone's been waiting for me too,
and so yeah, things will start really getting built this
year and things are starting to happen, and not before
time as well. So yeah, it's going to be a
big year, exciting year.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
We'll see nobody though, are you worried?

Speaker 3 (13:54):
I'm worried that I'm worried?

Speaker 2 (13:56):
Ready, you should always be worried because.

Speaker 10 (14:00):
That that drives performance.

Speaker 5 (14:02):
But we do we do have time. We do have time.

Speaker 10 (14:05):
Is most cities that got the Olympics only had seven
years to plan, and so you know we've got to
We've got over six six years to go and the
plans are locked in. Everyone's working in the same direction.
We've got federal and state government on the same page,
which hardly ever happens. That's so yeah, No, I'm not

(14:27):
a mystic, but we don't have any time to waste.

Speaker 6 (14:29):
Yeah, well yeah, I feel like we've had four more
years and everyone else and we spent four of those.

Speaker 2 (14:36):
Okay, he said, it's going to be good.

Speaker 6 (14:41):
I dug a footing hole with a shovel, so so
I'm ready to go.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
It's ready to dig more holes.

Speaker 10 (14:47):
We'll get you on the tools.

Speaker 5 (14:49):
I think we'll need all the help we can get.

Speaker 2 (14:51):
Okay, you're not really.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Out of this conversation.

Speaker 2 (14:58):
Just no cherry pickers.

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Yes, yeah, I'm with you on that. And shrin Dog
for calling through today. You have gone into the running
to win yourself edge tickets everyone that gets on airs run.

Speaker 2 (15:10):
Will you keep them for yourself or would you be
donating them?

Speaker 5 (15:13):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (15:14):
Donate them for sure? Good man, Nina ill hate you
start you again.

Speaker 4 (15:20):
You have a great day, guys.

Speaker 2 (15:25):
Cheers mate.

Speaker 4 (15:25):
It's Robin Kipper Corriot's on Kiss ninety seven three.

Speaker 8 (15:28):
Robin ki and correotes in the morning.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
It's Robin, Kip and Correots on Kiss ninety seven three.
We are back to twenty twenty six.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
Now.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
We've had plenty of messages coming through and plenty of
callers today because it's our first show back, and everyone
that gets on here with us today is in the
running to win edge sheer and tickets, which we're going
to do at the end of the show just before
nine o'clock.

Speaker 2 (15:47):
So, Ashley if Fitzgibbon, good morning.

Speaker 6 (15:50):
Good morning.

Speaker 5 (15:50):
How are you welcome back to this wonderful.

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Brisbane Thanks, thank you so much.

Speaker 5 (15:55):

Speaker 15 (15:58):
I've got a great break hope you guys have.

Speaker 5 (16:00):
Thank you so much for coming back.

Speaker 15 (16:02):
You've made my life so much easier. At home, my
wife refused to listen to ninety seven three when she
heard you guys were gone. She said that kid, I'm done,
You're gone, and me listening. I said to her one day,
you know it's been reversed in the coming back.

Speaker 5 (16:15):
It's not.

Speaker 15 (16:16):
And she sat there for the next half an hour
google in it, looking at Robin's page and Corey's page,
you kids, and looking over her and she goes.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
They're coming back. I said yeah. So she went and
turned the RADIU straight back.

Speaker 15 (16:27):
She goes, what, I won't listen to anything else in
the morning, She said, I would rather have nothing on
the radio and the way to work than to listen
to anything else.

Speaker 2 (16:36):
Okay, what's her name?

Speaker 7 (16:38):
Her name is Melissa, Melissa, thank you so much.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
I hope you're listening right now. We really appreciate you.

guys back, So welcome back. I hope you just have
a wonderful time, and thank you Brisbane for everything you
do for it.

Speaker 2 (16:52):
Awesome, so much good luck what those said?

Speaker 4 (16:55):
She here and takeods mates a little later in the
show and if you want to get on thirteen one
sixty five now. Not everyone was thrilled with about us
coming back.

Speaker 2 (17:04):
Some people weren't.

Speaker 4 (17:05):
And I'm not sure where Tigan, your lovely wife, sits
on this. I might know, but she has sent some
message to say how she felt when she found out
the show was coming back.

Speaker 2 (17:15):
It's been lovely having you home.

Speaker 12 (17:17):
And as much as we adore you, you definitely do
mess with our morning routine and make us very late.
I certainly won't miss the smoothie cups left in the sink.
So I am secretly glad the three thirty Am Alarm
is back on again. I'm so happy for you all
to be back on air and so excited for the
year you all have a head. Thank you, Brisbane for

(17:38):
getting behind an incredible little team in true Queensland spirit,
we love a comeback story.

Speaker 3 (17:45):
Yes, she's so professional, she is.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
I got I got a different version of that because
Heagan texts my wife or my partner are Naomi.

Speaker 2 (17:54):
Oh I'm sorry, you're what two whole years?

Speaker 4 (18:05):
But anyway said something something down the lines of oh
thank god when the show was re signed to come back.
But your kids sent us a message as well. Corey.
We've got little Chunky.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
I can't remember their names, can you.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
Yeah, there's Chunky and and Monty.

Speaker 3 (18:27):
Come on.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
This is what they had to say.

Speaker 16 (18:32):
Daddy, it's been great to have you home. We are
excited that you are back on the radio. Can you
please ask your boss if you can still come to
Father's date morning at school? We love you, Dan and
I gope.

Speaker 6 (18:52):
You Yeah, she want me to go to the Father's Day?

Speaker 2 (18:56):
When is it?

Speaker 17 (19:00):
Father?

Speaker 4 (19:01):
I missed it. Miss Raft was really upset. So you
know what we should do that this year, make sure
that we will find a way to actually be there
and still do the show.

Speaker 3 (19:09):
It'd be awesome.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
She would have loved having you home though.

Speaker 3 (19:11):
Yeah, they did.

Speaker 2 (19:12):
I was just started wrestling the all every morning.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
That's what they were late.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
Did she late. Honestly, I mean seriously, she didn't. She
wants three children, but expect you to be one.

Speaker 3 (19:24):
To wake up and start wrestlings.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
Now, something we do need to address is the rumors
that this whole thing has been like a.

Speaker 2 (19:31):
Set up, a publicity stunt.

Speaker 4 (19:33):
And we actually have the man that made the decision
with us today because our CEO has flown to Brisbane,
the CEO of the entire company. He's here, so we're
going to get him on air after seven thirty this
morning and find out.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
We'll just talk to say was this all bs?

Speaker 4 (19:46):
Was it a people we know?

Speaker 7 (19:47):
Well, no, no, it wasn't that. There was one guy
that changed the decision. And here's the guy, yes, and
we are going to talk to him on the show today.
It's Robin Kip and Correo's on Kiss ninety seven.

Speaker 8 (19:58):
Three Robin Ki and in the morning.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
We are back in twenty twenty six. We didn't think
this was going to be happening. Our last show in
November twenty eighth last year, we signed off, we said farewell,
and yet here we are.

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Yeah, and a lot of people thought that this was
a complete stunt.

Speaker 7 (20:15):
I can assure you that is not the case, and
to prove it, we are in a cherry picker above
Abbotsford Road at Bowen Hills.

Speaker 2 (20:22):
The cherry picker is now just coming up and going.

Speaker 7 (20:25):
Over our billboard. The controls doing it. Oh stop that,
Corey put the control much.

Speaker 4 (20:35):
We are literally we're literally going up to full height
as we speak, because we went.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
Down to pick up our CEO.

Speaker 4 (20:42):
This is our national CEO of the entire Company of
Arn also known as KISSFM.

Speaker 2 (20:47):
Steve O, thank you welcome.

Speaker 18 (20:49):
It's great to be here, thanks for having mere overseer
a you well, let me say, it's a lot It
looks it's a lot higher when you're actually up here
is when you're on the ground, and it's awesome.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
It's amazing.

Speaker 4 (20:58):
A lot of movement too, isn't it.

Speaker 3 (21:00):
And people move that's a great view. And like all.

Speaker 2 (21:05):
Castevo is genuinely unsure.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
Yeah, so what the reason I thought we'd bring you
up p stevo is because we wanted to get some
honest dances.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
Yeah, now tell everyone that it wasn't a joke.

Speaker 4 (21:17):
It absolutely was not a joke.

Speaker 2 (21:19):
There's no stunt about this.

Speaker 18 (21:20):
Obviously, we made a decision at the end of last
year and quite clearly it wasn't the right decision. Every
person that I spoke to when I started in my
new role said we love Robin, Kip and Corey and
when they're coming back. And I said, to the guys
in Sydney, can we change our decision?

Speaker 2 (21:33):
They said, no one's ever done that.

Speaker 18 (21:34):
Before, no one has ever Well, it standed up the
perfect thing to do. So we got on the phone,
we spoke to you guys. The response was amazing, and
of course here we are January nineteen. We've got the
biggest show in Breakfast in Brisbane and at the same time,
you know, Craig has his show at at night starting
at nine o'clock to night nationally on the Kiss network
and what a better start to you can't get one.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
This is amazing, It sounds like you. Yeah, I want
to know, and we're very grateful.

Speaker 7 (22:03):
But in that process, because for us, from the sign
off to the call was almost two weeks and at
what point did you realize that this was a really
dumb ass decision?

Speaker 5 (22:17):
Thanks? Thanks?

Speaker 3 (22:18):
When did you dumb us?

Speaker 4 (22:22):
What I've what I've realized is that is just radio.

Speaker 18 (22:25):
Generally has this incredible connection to communities and cities and
I just got the feedback was overwhelming. Every single person
I spoked who said we love this breakfast team and
we want them back.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
And you know, I think.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
To the team's credit to dB and the entire Kiss team.

Speaker 18 (22:39):
They listened, they heard, and they made a decision, and
I think that's that's a great thing.

Speaker 3 (22:43):
It's it's awesome for Brisbane.

Speaker 18 (22:44):
I mean, you can see all of the guys driving
past here this morning and people beeping their horns and
the callers coming in the show sounds awesome.

Speaker 2 (22:50):
And I can speak on.

Speaker 18 (22:51):
Behalf of everybody at Kiss and today are and we
are pumped to have.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
You guys back. Can I actually I haven't asked you to.

Speaker 12 (22:58):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (22:58):
What was your reaction and that call came through?

Speaker 4 (23:01):
Well, I was literally I was in Caloundra at a
at a water park. I was minding the two kids
when the phone phone rang and I was just like,
I actually can't do this right now. I've got I
had other things on it, and I was like, are
you are you taking the piss? Like?

Speaker 2 (23:14):
What's happening? I was.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
I was stunned for like a good hour trying to
work out what the heck was going on?

Speaker 7 (23:21):
But you were also imperative Kip in making sure that
Corey got contacted.

Speaker 4 (23:25):
What happened there, Well, Corey is notoriously bad at answering
his phone and when he just gets sacked. Yes, so
I called him. After speaking to DV called Corey. I said, hey, listen,
your phone's about to ring. Answer it. That's all I've
got to say for an hour. Talk to you later.
Call me back when it's done, but answer the freaking phone.

Speaker 2 (23:43):
And what happened Corey?

Speaker 9 (23:44):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (23:45):
And I'm like, all right, that's a a bit random.
And anyway, dB rings and says, well.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Thanks for answering.

Speaker 6 (23:54):
And I was just like you taking the mickey and
and he's we first that decision and yeah, And I said,
well if the other two and I'm in so.

Speaker 2 (24:04):
See I wasn't probably.

Speaker 4 (24:08):
I was.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
I'm so angry. I mean, we're talking about dB.

Speaker 7 (24:14):
His name is Jerk Bagwana. He is actually our kind
of bigger boss.

Speaker 2 (24:18):
Below Steve O. And I tore strips off him. I mean,
was that the right.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Was that the right thing to do? I don't know.

Speaker 18 (24:26):
I wouldn't have liked to have been in dB shoes.
We had quite a few cups of coffee and quite
a few conversations. I'm just glad that you all answered
the phone. I'm glad that you I can't say I
wasn't nervous there for.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
A little bit. Did you say you call Robinson dB?

Speaker 3 (24:41):
That was brave, It wasn't it?

Speaker 4 (24:43):
Well, it was actually brave of you that you guys
had made a mistake and to bring us back. We're
very thankful. We're happy to be here. And and if
you want to get on air and join us today,
we've got tickets to Ed Sheeran is playing sun Corps
Stadium in February. Everyone that gets on air with us
today has a chance to win those tickets.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
So I'll just take us down, eh, I'll take us down.
Let's say, are you ready to go? Dotie?

Speaker 19 (25:04):
Thanks guys, Robin, kids and coreotes.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
Now we are broadcasting live from Bowen Hills. We've been
up top of our own billboard, the classic gold billboard
on the abbots for the road. We've just lost connections.
We're actually broadcasting from our phones right now.

Speaker 14 (25:21):
Robin, I've got Corry next to me and we're on
the other end of the cherry pickup.

Speaker 5 (25:27):
We don't have Yeah, you know what, you're always cut
out in primetime. It would never cut perfect lines at
six a m. And here we are with the most
listeners available and that is already mustang. So we've been
having a ton of people getting in touch with us today,
of course, and you know, part of it's because they're

(25:49):
happy to have us back, part of us, because everyone
who gets on air with us wind Ed Sheeran all
in it goes in the running rails to win end
Shearing tickets at the end of the show today he's
playing sun Corp at the end of fab But speaking
of some radio royalty, a bloke that's been around and
he was the first person I heard doing breakfast radio

(26:09):
is Jamie Dunn, who contacted the show. Sadly I was
there too, ye Robin Robin's work with him also, So
what did you just do?

Speaker 8 (26:19):
Well?

Speaker 5 (26:19):
I started you in that what I will do? That forgot?
I forgot. But if what Jamie had to say.

Speaker 20 (26:31):
Robin Kip Corey, one time radio god, Jamie Dunn here,
I'm please you got your jobs back now, Corey.

Speaker 8 (26:39):
I thought i'd have this one for you.

Speaker 20 (26:41):
When Wayne Bennett sacked Wally Lewis, just like your listeners,
I wrote a stinging letter saying what a bad decision
it was. Didn't hear anything for six months, so I
said injured Philly shopping down at the movies and during
the credits after the movie, Wayne Bennett stuck his head
over the back of my chair and said, I got
your learner, so I know what you've been through.

Speaker 8 (27:03):
Mates.

Speaker 14 (27:07):
I'm as that is true, Jamie Dunstall. I'm the one
that's known him for decades, yep. And he's not mentioning
me at all, but wants to talk to Cory about
Wayne Bennett.

Speaker 5 (27:19):
Let's talk to a football player. But his old mate
Agro also had a message for us.

Speaker 21 (27:26):
You know, Robin, Kipp and Corey. It's me Andra, remember
me from the nineties. Hey, welcome back. I'm glad you
got your jobs back. That's the thing about Rady. You
never know when someone's going to stand on the back
of your phone or a fridge is going to fall
on you. What was the worst thing about you losing
your job? Well, I felt so bad. I pre ordered

(27:49):
Robin Bailey's book. That's how bad I felt.

Speaker 5 (27:53):
There you go, you got you.

Speaker 14 (27:59):
And you know that he is so tight that that
would be true.

Speaker 5 (28:04):
Well, coming up very soon. The fact that we're back
this morning has blown a lot of rumors out of
the water, because one of them was that Robin would
be in the jungle for arm a celebrity, get me
out of here. They said there was going to be
a radio queen. They put a photo up of a
flamingo which is the same it's in the time looking book, Robin.
And so we are going to talk to Robert Irwin

(28:25):
and Julia Morris a litt later on the show and
address those rooms. Maybe you're going in later, maybe it
hasn't happened yet, you're not going.

Speaker 14 (28:33):
You can't wait right make you get me back for
day and then you want to send me away again.

Speaker 5 (28:38):
You go to South Africa for a couple of weeks. Anyway,
we'll have it chat to them ladder in the show
and if you want to get on thirteen one six
fives Edge year and tickets on the line, and all
we've got to do is get on air with us
to have a crack at those the fate of Ophelia.
This is Taylor Swift, It's Robin, Kip and Coreo. It's
on Kiss ninety seven three.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
Robin, Kip and coreotes in the morning.

Speaker 4 (28:59):
We broadcasting live from up top, a billboard our own
billboard on Abbotsford Road in as the iconic Goer billboard
at Bowen Hills. And just a quick weather check. Yes
there's a light drizzle.

Speaker 6 (29:15):
Is you in the area. I hope you made yesterday. Yeah,
you'd be happy man today.

Speaker 1 (29:19):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (29:19):
The Apple app says that it's all fine today, but
that's zot it's raining.

Speaker 2 (29:23):
Yeah, proof that there is drops on Kip classes.

Speaker 3 (29:27):
Yes, indeed.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
But we have had some awesome messages over the last
few weeks after the announcement that the show was coming back,
including a very good friend of the show in Sharon
Goodella from Channel ten.

Speaker 22 (29:38):
Ten, Robin, Kip and Corey Sharon Goadella here from ten News,
Queensland's so wonderful to have you back on our airwaves.
Some things just belong on radio and you three certainly do.
I know Breakfast wouldn't be the same without your fun
and good humor. Can't wait to see and hear what
you get up to in twenty twenty six. Welcome back

(29:58):
and go well, which I know you will.

Speaker 4 (30:02):
What will because I know it's at least such a
pro as being her kids going Just read me one
will book.

Speaker 2 (30:09):
Just hear it, mom, can you swear?

Speaker 13 (30:12):
I know, just break character for a minute where your
mom in is stumbled like just want to say word?

Speaker 3 (30:17):
Can you rubble? And and just bug up?

Speaker 4 (30:20):
Now coming up very soon, we've got we're going to
be crossing to the jungle. Robin is not in the jungle,
despite them saying there was going to be a radio queen.

Speaker 2 (30:27):
It's not Robin Bailey, No.

Speaker 3 (30:28):
It is not.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
It is Triple Jay's Conchella. Was the radio Queen?

Speaker 4 (30:33):
I thought that was a festival.

Speaker 2 (30:36):
It's Coachlla. Oh my goodness, but you're awesome things. I
want to know if Robert Irwin is still singing.

Speaker 3 (30:43):
What about with the stars?

Speaker 4 (30:45):
What about his d ms? They will be out of
control with an e woman.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
Under the age of thirty. Want to know if Robert.

Speaker 3 (30:54):
Like a man for the looks like you can't do
that with all That's what it is, is it?

Speaker 5 (31:03):
Well?

Speaker 4 (31:03):
We are going to talk to Robert as Julia Morris
very soon on the show with Robin, Kip and Coreot's
on Kiss ninety seven three.

Speaker 8 (31:10):
Robin, Kip and coreotes in the morning.

Speaker 4 (31:12):
We're live in Bowen Hills this morning up on top
of our own billboard because we promised to take the
show to New Heights this year, or you promised, Corey.

Speaker 2 (31:20):
And this was how they interpreted that.

Speaker 3 (31:22):
I deliver.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
So literally, we're in a cherry picker above a billboard,
so we're twenty meters in the airs, flying around and
sways a lot in the breeze this thing.

Speaker 7 (31:30):
Yeah, it's come quite breezy. There's been a little sprinkles
of showers. The traffic is not as bad as I
thought it would be.

Speaker 2 (31:36):
I reckon. There are still some people having the school holidays.

Speaker 4 (31:38):
Yeah, a little slow on the ICB from what we
can see.

Speaker 3 (31:41):
Yeah, we don't.

Speaker 2 (31:43):
Drive this much, so we would actually normally not at
this time.

Speaker 4 (31:46):
True, So we're getting ready to be driving at this
time this year because we thought the show was all
over at the end of last year. But we are
back and very happy to be back, and plenty of
calls coming through as well. I'm thirteen one oh six
fyres our number if ever you want to get involved.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
With the show. Hello, Color of Russell Island.

Speaker 14 (32:03):
Good morning everybody, and oh thank you, thank you, thank
you for coming back.

Speaker 11 (32:09):
You make my morning. Absolutely when it's bad, it's good.

Speaker 6 (32:14):
A wish was saying thank you to you. Yes, you're
a part of bringing us back.

Speaker 11 (32:20):
So yeah, thank you.

Speaker 14 (32:22):
And they always say it for a wedding, if there's
sunshine and rain on.

Speaker 8 (32:25):
The same day, it's a good omen.

Speaker 5 (32:27):
So i'm.

Speaker 14 (32:30):
And there's plenty sunshine and plenty of rain, so yeah,
let's go bring.

Speaker 2 (32:35):
In the new year. Let's go.

Speaker 4 (32:38):
Thanks Carla, and you are of course in the running
to win yourself ed shear and tickets. We're going to
draw that before nine o'clock this morning. We've already heard
on the show today from Cory's missus, Tegan, who was
very excited to know the show.

Speaker 6 (32:49):
You said, my wife, and then you said my wife's later, yes,
your wife to my partner.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
Looks nothing's happened proposing the family.

Speaker 4 (32:58):
There nothing so yes, it's actually expected.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
But we did.

Speaker 6 (33:05):
Imagine you're trimming over on the sand, and then Nami
thinking that you're actually going to propose.

Speaker 3 (33:09):
I could see that.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
Just being uncle, just proposing out of shame. I meant
to be down here. But we did talk to to
Naomi about her excitement the show coming back.

Speaker 23 (33:22):
Sianna, would you like to say happy first day back
at work to dad?

Speaker 24 (33:29):
Yeah, you say happy first day, whishould be luck wile
you're not here?

Speaker 10 (33:43):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (33:44):
Absolutely?

Speaker 4 (33:45):
She just blows up the luksh just at that age,
and she's what nineteen months now, So any type of
action that isn't the action she wants is screaming.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
Okay, left that at home.

Speaker 4 (33:55):
I'm so happy to be back at work. She's gone,
and I love saying the first thing, but saying goodbye
this morning was the best.

Speaker 7 (34:05):
I reckon that ring should be coming the older that
child gets.

Speaker 4 (34:10):
Yeah, yeah, was there another bit? Was there a Drew's
pushing the buttons for us back in the studio today?

Speaker 2 (34:16):
Was there another bit?

Speaker 5 (34:17):
Drew?

Speaker 8 (34:17):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (34:18):
Talking Naomi talking mate about.

Speaker 4 (34:21):
When you found out the show was coming back, how
did you feel.

Speaker 23 (34:24):
I felt really happy and relieved initially because I thought
it was going to be great having you around in
the mornings. And then you were around in the mornings
and it wasn't so great.

Speaker 7 (34:43):
Yes, yeah, okay, Okay, explain to me what you were
doing not so great.

Speaker 6 (34:49):
I don't know I speak a place, but probably something
like that.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Just my presence and just in j I don't like
being around me. I can't imagine anyone else would.

Speaker 4 (35:00):
That's just I think I'm irritating and maybe I don't
help in the way that you know, like you're supposed
to be with the other eight people you're have in
your life outside outside leaf blowing instead of child because
there was leaves out there.

Speaker 7 (35:14):
Okay, so yesterday we all caught up at my pace
for a couple of hours just to kind of regroup.
And what happened the night before Naomi said, Siana woke
up at like one o'clock in the.

Speaker 4 (35:24):
Morning, just before one, and she needed a full reset.
We knew she wasn't going back to sleep, and Naomi said,
this is my last chance. Can you take the baby
downstairs until she goes back to sleep.

Speaker 7 (35:33):
It took two hours, and for the first time in
two months, you actually did.

Speaker 6 (35:37):
I actually did it, yep, and now you actually not
think of doing it before she said.

Speaker 4 (35:40):
That I'm back to work. Man, I've got a clock off.
Now this is the show, all right, someone's going to
be on the ball.

Speaker 2 (35:48):
To try and connect the jobs in this is how
come you haven't married her?

Speaker 4 (35:53):
I know that's weird.

Speaker 19 (35:55):
Anyway, Robin Kidd and Coreo, its back to twenty twenty
six and another thing that's back for a brand new
season is Robert Irwin Julia Morris hosting I'm a Celebrity,
Get me out of here, and they're joining us now
we've been broadcasted from a cherry picker this morning, guys

(36:15):
a fast show back.

Speaker 2 (36:16):
Now, are either of you scared of heights? I do?

Speaker 25 (36:20):
I do love jumping off stuff, skydiving, bungee jumping.

Speaker 4 (36:27):
Yeah, I guess. I guess you couldn't really do that
show and ask the celebrities to do things if you
weren't prepared to do them yourselves.

Speaker 17 (36:34):
I'm not sure there has to do a lot of
that stuff myself.

Speaker 25 (36:39):
There's a certain amount of things ninety percent of the
things I ain't doing so.

Speaker 6 (36:45):
Like not eating the eyes or the or the I
don't know what some of those genitals are, but yes.

Speaker 25 (36:50):
That's straight up.

Speaker 4 (36:53):
Now you've never tried guinea pig genitals.

Speaker 17 (36:57):
Look, you know when you're coming from pad to the table.

Speaker 2 (37:02):
There, guys, it was great to see you back on
the Telly last night.

Speaker 7 (37:07):
This season is kicked off, and I want to also
give you a personal thank you because one of the
biggest speculations we lost our jobs at the end of
last year, and two weeks later we got them back,
which is why we're talking to you. But I have
a book coming out this year called Flamingos Aren't Born Pink.

Speaker 2 (37:24):
And when you said a radio queen was going.

Speaker 7 (37:27):
To be on the show and you showed Flamingos, I
cannot tell you the tens of thousands of people who
thought I was going in that is amazing.

Speaker 3 (37:40):
Next year, next year.

Speaker 24 (37:42):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (37:45):
People were talking about it like it was fact, like
you were going to andyone's going to come on why
because we hadn't seen you for a bit you're away
on Holia.

Speaker 2 (37:51):
I actually thought for.

Speaker 7 (37:52):
A bit you might be No, but you have another
amazing radio queen.

Speaker 2 (37:56):
Correct.

Speaker 17 (37:58):
Absolutely, My goodness, Conchetta do.

Speaker 25 (38:01):
Indeed, Conchetta is amazing, isn't she?

Speaker 2 (38:03):
Wow?

Speaker 25 (38:04):
Wow, She's hilarious, just brings it every single time. And
I think, as we saw last night, like she's just
she's out the gates, swinging, ready to go.

Speaker 5 (38:17):
Oh yeah.

Speaker 17 (38:18):
It's interesting how some years we get all of the
celebrities are very willing to come along and join the
game for everything that it is, and other years there's
can be a thread go through it where they're like,
we feel like you're trying to make a fool of
us or you know they're not as keen to participate
and Concretta from as you saw last night, the second

(38:39):
she walks through the door, she lifts the energies of
those around her, where you feel like a bit of
a knuckle if you're complaining.

Speaker 2 (38:46):
And also a good friend of Cory's to the jungle.

Speaker 3 (38:53):
I didn't even notice it.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
I didn't notice.

Speaker 6 (38:58):
Person that type of thing. What's in it? Is there
a lot of big surprises?

Speaker 1 (39:08):
Oh?

Speaker 25 (39:08):
Yeah, absolutely absolutely. I think I think you're about to
kind of see as this season unfolds, we not only
have we upp the ante to a point that it's
never been before, but we've changed things to be can't
reveal too much yet, but it's there's a new element.
There's a new part of this show that I think

(39:31):
is going to bring it to a level like we've
never seen before.

Speaker 2 (39:34):
And it's it's going to be a.

Speaker 25 (39:36):
Test like we've never seen before.

Speaker 3 (39:38):
And it's gonna, you know.

Speaker 25 (39:39):
Kind of even that playing field where you know, everybody's
strengths are really going to come to the fore, the physical,
the mental, like everyone in there is going to have
to be on there a plus plus, Like, so, who.

Speaker 7 (39:54):
Do you think is going to tap out first, Oh
my gosh me.

Speaker 2 (40:02):
Do you know what, We're still a couple of days.

Speaker 17 (40:04):
Over the next few days on the show, we're going
to see people start to have their detox and that's
when they definitely had that revelation of oh my god,
have I made a mistake?

Speaker 2 (40:14):
Am I saying the right things?

Speaker 18 (40:15):
What am I doing?

Speaker 2 (40:16):
And by the.

Speaker 17 (40:17):
End of that detox, they kind of released to the
other side where they're just kind of like, okay, you
adapt or die?

Speaker 4 (40:25):
And what are they detoxing from? Obviously you've got your
normally alcohol.

Speaker 8 (40:28):
And caloria calories.

Speaker 25 (40:32):
Yeah, I think like phones technology as well, which sounds terrible,
it's true. I mean everybody says it's so strange to
be completely disconnected, like you have got to know. But
that's but that's the interesting thing is that you start
to see the connection that these celebs each other in.

Speaker 4 (40:52):
By now I would have seen Robert Irwin with his
shirt off, dancing.

Speaker 25 (40:56):
Exactly, you know, and they finally get a break from it.

Speaker 26 (41:01):
Wrestlings coming out.

Speaker 4 (41:11):
About can we talk to Robert? But you you did
the country so proud. You were so amazing on that show.

Speaker 3 (41:17):
Thank you, Thank you very much.

Speaker 25 (41:19):
Thank you.

Speaker 4 (41:19):
I appreciate it.

Speaker 25 (41:20):
And I'll tell you what, like I really felt, you know,
all the love from home. That's really what kept me
going through that whole experience on Dancing with the Stars.

Speaker 4 (41:28):
Truly.

Speaker 25 (41:28):
I felt like I, you know, had the opportunity to
represent so much when I was out on that ballroom,
but more than anything, I got to represent home, you know.

Speaker 3 (41:37):
I got to and I think.

Speaker 25 (41:40):
Bindy was the last Ossie to win to win that show,
and so it's it was very very special. But I
saw all the watch parties that people were having back
here in Australia, all of the well wishers. Man, it
just meant the world to me because it doesn't matter
where I am.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
I my heart.

Speaker 25 (41:59):
My heart eats from here in Australia, and yeah, I love.

Speaker 7 (42:03):
On behalf of every single woman under the age of thirty.
Are you single, Robert Irwin?

Speaker 25 (42:11):
Oh, we're going straight into the exclusive.

Speaker 2 (42:14):
Yes, yes, no, are you looking the Oh?

Speaker 25 (42:19):
Definitely. It's one of these things where I'm like, at
this point in my life where you sort of you
got to kind of let it happen because I'm so
here and there and everywhere at one hundred miles an hour.

Speaker 3 (42:30):
So I'm just kind of like, I'm open to it.
Can I sort of let that happen?

Speaker 8 (42:33):
Let that in and.

Speaker 3 (42:36):
Watch this spa there's I'm a great talk to anyone.
Take you up on that.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
And you know what we learned last night.

Speaker 7 (42:46):
If you're into older women, I mean, Rachel Hunter, former supermodel,
has been celibate since twenty ten.

Speaker 19 (42:53):
What about there's a single thing?

Speaker 17 (43:00):
No go now, come on, Rachel Hunter is just a
top tier human.

Speaker 2 (43:07):
People have got it.

Speaker 17 (43:08):
If they're going to reach to the top shelf, you're
going to want to be able to carry what you
get off the top shelves.

Speaker 4 (43:12):
You know, it definitely makes the mockery of It won't
happen overnight, but it will happen.

Speaker 9 (43:19):
Hopefully it will happen.

Speaker 2 (43:20):
But if it doesn't happen, we.

Speaker 3 (43:23):
Don't need it.

Speaker 4 (43:25):
Thank you so much for joining us, rob If you
don't have a girlfriend for the next six months, mate,
we're going to do some time.

Speaker 2 (43:30):
We're going to make invention.

Speaker 25 (43:32):
All right, right, yeah, absolutely absolutely, I'm not coming home.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
Thanks guy, you.

Speaker 8 (43:48):
Robin, And in the morning.

Speaker 4 (43:51):
All this morning, we've been saying, if you get on
air with us at any stage, you're in the running
to wing yourself tickets to see Ed Sheeran, who's going
to be playing Sun Corpse Stadium end of February. We've
got tickets to Friday night, twentieth of feb And we
have our winner.

Speaker 2 (44:05):
Yes we do.

Speaker 7 (44:06):
We spoke to her earlier today. It is the wonderful Nicole.

Speaker 2 (44:11):
Hello, Nicole, Oh my gosh. Hello, Now what did you
tell us earlier today?

Speaker 7 (44:18):
You were one of the first people to call through
when we got back on the air.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Tell us about your daughter.

Speaker 11 (44:23):
My daughter, and Maya is the biggest fan she honestly,
she set my alarm for five forty five this morning
because she wanted to hear the first words out of
off the radio. And when the alarms went off, she
was just so excited. She's like, Mom, I'm going to cry,
I'm shaking, I'm just so happy.

Speaker 8 (44:42):
Oh does she like it shoe, Yeah she does.

Speaker 11 (44:46):
She loves that chairin. But she loves you guys more
than it.

Speaker 5 (44:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 26 (44:51):
I know.

Speaker 11 (44:52):
I think everyone's know. We love you both equally.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
Well.

Speaker 2 (44:59):
Congratulate since you guys are off to Ed Shearing.

Speaker 11 (45:01):
Oh my gosh, thank you so much.

Speaker 4 (45:08):
That's amazing, absolutely pleasure. Congratulations and thanks for and thanks
for everything you've done, for bringing us back this year,
because it's it's people like you and are Maya that's
done it?

Speaker 11 (45:19):
Oh tout me. We were texting, we were doing anything
we can. We stopped listening to ninety seven three and
we were just so happy when we heard that you
were back.

Speaker 7 (45:27):
Well it worked, my lovely, and we are just as grateful.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
So I have a great day.

Speaker 11 (45:32):
Oh, thank you so much, and I want to say
thank you too, Thank you.

Speaker 3 (45:36):
So much, thank you Maya.

Speaker 4 (45:40):
I love you guys, great Batcha.

Speaker 3 (45:44):
Thanks thank you very much.

Speaker 4 (45:47):
So here you have a great day bringing his loop
to it to Brisbane for every twenty to twenty second.
All your free ed sharing tickets are on kiss on
seven three ice. All right, you're doing that from now on.
Is that other thing we're doing?

Speaker 3 (45:58):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (46:00):
Only when you died, I was just reading, you know
where only read was in front of me and in
the morning, and we're back to twenty twenty six. Trucky mate,
we're broadcasting live from the top of our own billboard,
the iconic go of Billboard Abmsford Road in Bowen Hills.

Speaker 7 (46:18):
And for everyone that thought that this was a prank,
listen to the podcast because we actually had our CEO
on yes, and I've been debating in my own head
were the saying to him it was.

Speaker 2 (46:29):
A Tomas decision. Potentially it was not my greatest career.

Speaker 3 (46:34):
I mean that came out of nowhere.

Speaker 19 (46:37):
I'm going to.

Speaker 2 (46:38):
Our attentions were high. We're up top of cherry Picker.
You know, no one's thinking straight.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
Yeah, well you didn't practice that.

Speaker 2 (46:45):
And I didn't run it past you two, which was
possibly my first misday, and.

Speaker 3 (46:50):
I said him, and that was just Robin.

Speaker 4 (46:53):
We've had some lovely messages right throughout the show today,
including one We've got here.

Speaker 2 (46:57):
This is from your friend and psychic Robin. Oh, Jillie,
we're back.

Speaker 8 (47:01):
Yes.

Speaker 2 (47:02):
Oh, I love her so much.

Speaker 7 (47:03):
She was She was the person last year that predicted
we would have the choice to come out.

Speaker 3 (47:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (47:09):
Well she used very yeah, she used strange words to say,
it'll be your decision, and everyone went no made and
then we got punted. Anyway, This is what Julie reckons
about the show coming back.

Speaker 2 (47:22):
Hi guys, it's Julie here, welcome back.

Speaker 8 (47:25):
I just am so excited that you're back.

Speaker 4 (47:27):

Speaker 2 (47:33):
Twenty twenty six is going to be big for you guys.
I can feel it.

Speaker 24 (47:39):
Well.

Speaker 4 (47:39):
One of the things that is changing this year is
we're on till ten o'clock. Georgie's coming back after ten
you remember Jornan.

Speaker 2 (47:45):
I love Georgie so much. We've got to have a
chat to her before she kicks off.

Speaker 4 (47:48):
So she's kicking off a ten and in classic Whiteman
not reading contracts before he signed them.

Speaker 3 (47:55):
We are on until ten o'clock o'clock.

Speaker 7 (47:57):
Yes, which is actually going to be amazing moving forward,
because I think we should do a whole lot of
stuff around with businesses around Brisbane.

Speaker 2 (48:04):
Because we've not really had that opportunity up until now.

Speaker 5 (48:06):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (48:06):
Yeah, we do have the chance to do those.

Speaker 6 (48:08):
Those golf bookings are put in a ten of manu
to cancel.

Speaker 4 (48:11):
Yeah yeah, I would recommend that you're not seeing off
a ten mate because we're here for another hour.

Speaker 3 (48:17):
I could yeah be on the phone. Yeah sure, let's
kick it off.

Speaker 4 (48:21):
