Speaker 1 (00:00):
We're doing a pre loved wedding. So we're getting a
chance for two people that have tried love before, like
they've been married before it hasn't worked out like us,
but they're ready to try with someone you and have
a pre looved wedding, And so if you've been pre loved,
you can register for it right now and we can
take care of the whole wedding for you.

Speaker 2 (00:15):
It'll be free for you. Yeah, and I promise it's
not dodge like well, because you know we're at kick
ass radio station. We'll make it amazing.

Speaker 1 (00:21):
Yeah, you've got Yeah, there's there's plenty of pre loved
suits of preloved wedding dresses you been around that look beautiful.

Speaker 2 (00:28):
But we've been talking about all of our own experiences
because between the three of us, including Angenderson in our newsroom,
who was the only person who remains married to the
one person Yeah, boring, boring in twenty one, so it
wasn't that long ago. Okay, this is going, well, let's
try hard. We've got six between us, yeah, because Kip
and I have five. Unfortunately, and we were talking yesterday

(00:51):
with both of us with our first marriages, we wish
we'd had the courage to say it's not the right thing.
We both knew beforehand, and we didn't stop it, even
though our families also knew.

Speaker 1 (01:03):
All right, don't keep us waiting anymore. Who's this person
from Channel nine? Okay?

Speaker 2 (01:07):
So Danika Mason from the foot Yeah, Sunday Footy show host,
she has called off her wedding three weeks out from
the big day. She was with her partner for three years.
He works in the fitness industry.

Speaker 1 (01:21):
He's an ex footing player. I think no, his dad
was okay, sure.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
Yeah, so overseas wedding. So people had booked flights accommodation.
That is one of the most courageous things. Imagine that. Yeah,
three weeks out because of course, like we understand this
with our kind of media commitments, Like she was waiting
for the Grand Final, sure, and then she would have
had holidays. So last weekend with the preliminary finals, she

(01:47):
was still fronting up knowing that her whole life had
just disintegrated. Professional what our chick. But the question I
ask is do you reckon they could ever get back together?

Speaker 1 (02:01):
So yeah, okay, so she's going to Okay, it was
just too much stress. Now we don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:07):
We don't know, but I am guessing there are people who,
for whatever reason, cold Feet maybe heard something. I don't know,
but I'm guessing, could you ever get back together with
someone who called it I couldn't do it?

Speaker 1 (02:20):
Yeah, I don't think so. I think that's too much
of a breach. I don't know. It depends on what
it's going to change.

Speaker 2 (02:28):
No, but what if it was like just there was
too much pressure. They were doing the wedding for other people,
not themselves, and maybe it was just like I can't
do this big hole catastrophe.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Yep, that I could couldn't.

Speaker 2 (02:39):
Do that, perhaps, But for me it just be in
the back of my mind there was once a time
when you didn't love me enough to do this even
for me.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
Yes, that's very good. There's going to be things in life.
There's going to be kids, and there's going to be
other stresses in life. If you can't handle this moment
when you're going to crack next.

Speaker 2 (02:57):
And imagine whoever paid for it? Vanessa of Hamilton. I
knew if I asked someone would have experienced thirteen one
oh sixty five. What happened?

Speaker 3 (03:10):
Oh, we were together for four years and we planned
already back in two thousand and fifteen. There was a
few issues there that we couldn't just work through. It
was planned for November, sorry, September twenty fifteen, and we
decided to break it off and go our separate ways.

Speaker 2 (03:33):
So you said we, So it wasn't you, It was
both of you.

Speaker 3 (03:37):
Oh it was, yes, it was yeah.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
There's normally a driving force. Though who was the driving force?

Speaker 3 (03:44):
Probably?

Speaker 4 (03:45):
Mean?

Speaker 1 (03:45):
Yeah? Probably? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (03:46):
And why not, Vanessa? What was it that was making
you have such cold feet?

Speaker 3 (03:50):
Oh? It was just a lot of family, family things,
like it was our second marriage, and I don't think,
I don't know, it's a card. It was very hard
with children and everything was hard.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
And so what happened did you get was that it
is at the end of the story.

Speaker 3 (04:12):
No, so yeah, it's abraded. But we still kept in
touch and we got back together about a year and
a bit later, and we got married in twenty eighteen
and they were still married.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Oh, so the time off was actually like being brave
and saying no, it was actually the right thing to do.

Speaker 5 (04:28):
That's right, that's right.

Speaker 2 (04:30):
I love this, Thank you so much, Vanessa, But hang on.
Sandra of Scarborough. What happened with your brother?

Speaker 3 (04:37):
So he was.

Speaker 5 (04:40):
A professional cricket player and he had met a lovely
girl and they were due to get married in another
stage and her family were quite wealthy in it because
he was a professional cricket player. There are a lot
of high profile people coming, and three days before the
wedding he called it off.

Speaker 6 (05:01):
Three days three days, yeah, days, And so we're scrambling,
you know, and being told a lot of reasons as
to why, which weren't the real reasons because he actually
had someone else.

Speaker 2 (05:14):
Oh yeah, hang on, hang on, hang on. So where
is the wedding going to be?

Speaker 5 (05:19):
In Tasmania?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
So you had to travel like it was a destination wedding.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
But there were people it was a former wedding as well,
so he had gowns made and then there were people
actually on a plane from the UK the time that
he did this.

Speaker 2 (05:36):
We still want to know who it is.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
I'm not telling you fair enough.

Speaker 1 (05:41):
And so did he end up so there was another woman?
Is he still with the other woman?

Speaker 5 (05:46):
Unfortunately, yes, yes he is, and she she ensured that
we are no longer family members. He he's still in
the industry. I leave at that, but this is.

Speaker 2 (05:58):
Your brother and you now have nothing to do with
him because of this whole catastrophe.

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Yeah, by his choice, by his choice.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
He doesn't talk to you.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
And it's been twenty years.

Speaker 1 (06:10):
Oh my gosh, that's bizarre.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
Wow. Why do you know what there was?

Speaker 5 (06:18):
Because there's guilt. Yeah, yeah, guilt. He's guilty and he
got caught out. All the lives, all the things, all
the reasons, and it all came to the surface.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
And what happened to is poor bride left at the altar.

Speaker 5 (06:32):
Oh wonderful life, beautiful husband, beautiful family, and her and
I like best friends.

Speaker 4 (06:40):
Okay, well yes, yes, keep do you want to go
to a family parts of the women's cricket match to
the Australia.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
She doesn't do that, I really don't.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
That is not even funny. What about LightScape then the

City Botanic Gardens until October eighth, so it's almost wrapped up.

been your sister in law.

Speaker 3 (07:17):
