kick off by saying, this is Joker too, a folly,
a dueur. It is the second It's kind of like
the sequel to The Joker, which came out in twenty nineteen.
Did you see that film? I did see the first one, Okay,
okay with Jaquein Phinix. What is so thing? I thought
he was brilliant. I thought somehow, this is how incredible

he is. I related to the Joker like I somehow
was like the man's insane. I know, I know, and
that's what's incredible. I was like, Oh, yeah, you've been
pushed around, you've been laughed at your whole life. No wonder,
you're no wonder, you've gone crazy. Well, that vulnerability, yes,
is very much a part of the second one. And
I do believe that Jaquin Phoenix should be Oscar nominated

for this role. Right. He is quite extraordinary as the Joker.
Lady Gaga is also in this film, and she is
equally brilliant. Okay, where I get a little, I don't
want to say lost. It was not the film I anticipated,
but I hadn't seen the first one. It does stand
up alone without seeing the first one, but there is

a lot of follow on that you if you'd seen
the first you'd understand a little bit more. Yeah, So
basically they don't try and do it like a Batman
where you have to kind of defy reality and believe
that you know something's gonna happen and they're going to
have mystical powers and just yeah, like, it's nothing like that.
It's sent in a jail where the Joker actually is

right and you it's dark and it's kind of scary.
The thing that I was not anticipating is it's a
musical right, and by that I mean that music is
a fundamental part of this movie, and music moves it along.
But it's not like set songs like the World's Greatest Showman, Right,

it's a lot of older songs that the Joker uses
as part of his kind of mental illness and psychosis.
Is he singing? Yes, what he'p singing? Because he can sing?
Can't he? He can? He won an oscar playing cash
and walk the line. You can't sing to Gaga quality,
but he can certainly hold his own as any of
that in the trailer, any of their singing to Let's
have a listen two years ago, the name Arthur Fleck

had got them like a hurricane the Trial of the Century.
They believe Arthur Fleck to be some kind of martyr
as a monster. So what I wish I'd googled is

it's called joker fully adure yes, meaning madness of two,
also known as shared psychosis or shared delusional disorder, is
a psychiatric syndrome in which symptoms of delusion disbelief are
transmitted from one individual to another. And that is kind

I know, people walked out of the cinema absolutely hating it.
I was definitely not one of those year old test

it says so much about how much we as a
society value celebrity over like morality, Like this guy is
clearly a psychopath who's killed people, and in the first
one he killed someone live on television, and yet he
has become so notorious and so famous, and what does

that mean to how people treat him? So you there,
you go there. It is I think two Oscar nominations, definitely,
But it is one of those films that if you're
going there thinking that you're going to get like a
Batman esque kind of dark night, think again. It's Robin
